    I ordered two items which ended up being too big. I returned the items as instructed on their website and still waiting on my store credit. I have the tracking which shows my items were returned and received by Dressbarn. There is no phone number available on the website, and I have emailed three times without any responses. Wonder how many other people dressbarn is stealing from. BBB complaint has been filed and next steps to state consumer complaints.

    Awesome collection with heavy discounts. They provide some amazing products. Moreover the quality of clothes is genuine and they have varieties of collection. Based on the price they are offering it was worth the buy. Highly recommend it!!!

    I ordered 3 different pairs of jeans. They did not fit according to the description. I emailed them 6 times before they told me that they had issued a store credit. I specifically told them that I wanted my money returned but they stated that they only offered store credit. Holding customer's money hostage is not good business. I will NEVER shop from this site again and do NOT recommend this online company to anyone!

    I made a purchase from Dressbarn that did not fit. When attempting to return it, I was referred to a large document to read basically stating they do not do refunds. I asked to speak to a representative 3 emails ago…No answer. I wouldn’t buy anything from there again.

    I have been a customer of Dress Barn for many years and have NEVER had any problems. Until my last purchase - their Customer Service simply doesn't exist these days. I placed an online order - however did not receive one of the tops. I followed their instructions and reported this, included order number and a picture of the invoice.

    I received an initial acknowledgement approximately 2 weeks later with a request for another picture, which I provided within 24 hours of the request. From that point on - no communication whatsoever. I sent several emails, asking for someone to contact me. Still nothing. I requested via email for a manager to contact me. Still nothing... finally after 4 months and several emails.... I received an email - no apology just an email stating "We will give you a store credit for the missing item."

    I would have rather received a credit to my payment method, but that was NOT an option. I will use this credit and NEVER shop Dress Barn again - I'm sad to see how this Company has changed. It is sad to see another established business change their standards to such a low level - I can't imagine they will remain in business much longer.

    I ordered a top that was pictured teal and gold. It was described as teal and gold. My order confirmation stated it would be teal and gold. And what showed up? White and gold! I've emailed them twice with no response. I refuse to return it for store credit because I will never shop with them again.

    Husband ordered $300.00 + in clothing. All too small. Requested a return label. Promptly returned merchandise. Tracking indicated received. Still no refund or replacement merchandise. Have contacted but are unable to reach a live person. Sent letters, emails and still no response. Guess I am just out that money.

    I ordered two items on 1/15. It’s now 3/4 and it hasn’t been shipped. I’ve emailed the company four times and have only ever received an auto response. They’ve updated their promo codes for March, so they appear to still be in business, but the business is to take money without sending out orders, so apparently a scam. It’s appalling that they’ve been allowed to operate this long by just stealing money from customers.

    I ordered a dress from Dressbarn back on 1/21 with a delivery date of 1/27. To date, I have not received my order yet. They charged my credit card, so my order is paid in full. I keep sending emails with an only an automated response back to me. Something needs to be done, and dressbarn needs to be held accountable for fraudulent criminal activity. This is so terrible!

    I placed an order on 1/20/23. I received my order on 1/24 and 1/28. Two of the tops were too big, so I emailed the company to start a return/exchange. I have emailed the company several times with no response. I have filled out the online form with no response. I have sent a Facebook message with no response. I suspect that many other people are having this issue, as most of the comments on facebook from customers have been deleted. This is a terrible place to do business with and once this matter is handled, I will never order from them again.

    On November 29, 2022 I ordered items in the amount of $155.98. A few days after order was placed received an email that it was on back order. To this day, still have not received anything and they were for holiday gifts. I have sent about ten emails to support and an automated email comes back "thank you for contacting DB, we are currently experiencing a high volume of customer inquiries". There is no phone number to contact to get a live person. I have been a DB customer for years and am extremely disappointed! They should be out of business for poor customer service. I do not know at this point how to get my money refunded. Thank you.

    I purchased 3 pair of jeans online. 2 pair were too long. I sent them back and they provided me with a store credit for $27.00 which is for one pair of jeans minus the rip off postage they charge. I SENT TWO BACK. I have sent 3 emails asking for the accounting of my "store credit" (which I do not want) and I continue to get this email that says they are terribly busy and are taking requests in order of receipt. I sent these jeans back on December 10th. I think I should at least have a response by now. I used to spend a lot of money at these stores. Dressbarn has lost this customer for good. I would give it a big zero if I could.

After trying to message, email, call regularly about this, figured leaving a review could be the only way to get an answer. I would like a full refund of actual money - not store credit. Some of the items aren't even available anymore on the website. My order number is **.

    I ordered a dress initially and it didn't look nearly high quality enough to be worth the $185 they were claiming it was - so I returned it. After having to pay $10 to return the item I used my STORE CREDIT (no real refunds allowed) to buy more items that seemed like safer bets. All of them came in poorly sized (inaccurate or missing size charts from the website) or broken. I asked for a real refund cos at this point - I didn't trust them to make a quality item. I was told I'd be refunded and sent the items back (worth $84$). Despite the items being broken - I was only refunded half the amount IN STORE CREDIT. At this point they've scammed me out of so much money and customer service is IMPOSSIBLE to deal with. 90% of their products can be found on other sites much cheaper. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.

    Since Dressbarn closed their stores, ordering from their web store has been horrible. Clothing not sized as described. And returning something is taking months to get just a credit back. Can't call, chat is virtual and email reply is taking weeks - absolutely horrible. Will not ever use them again once I use up my credit, if I ever get it.

    I figured I'd try them. Ordered 2 different sizes/colors of same outfit for my mom in September for my son's wedding at the end of October. I was immediately contacted that 1 was delayed by vendor. Nope, can't do that because these are for a wedding. They offered a gift card! I emailed them that a gc was NOT acceptable when it's a vendor issue and to just cancel the whole order. Took some fighting but I got the refund for the delayed outfit. However, they still sent the 2nd one anyway. The 2nd outfit was not acceptable so emailed for return authorization. I had to email 3 times before I got it. I sent the outfit back in unworn, new condition with tags still attached and heard nothing for 2 weeks. Emailed twice with no answer. Checked tracking, shows package was received by them and still had to email twice more. They tried to say I was already refunded!!! By now I'm livid.

    I sent a detailed description of what transpired originally and that the refund I received in September was for the outfit that was vendor delayed in September and NOT for the one I sent back THIS month (NOVEMBER 2 TO BE EXACT). They tried implying I was lying. I had to send credit card screenshots of transactions, pics of their return record with tracking number AND a screen grab of tracking showing the return was delivered and picked up by them IN NOVEMBER. They told me their return policy states store credit (gc) only for returns. I asked them if their policy included insinuating that customers are lying and taking over 2 weeks to even answer an email when they HAVE HAD THEIR MERCHANDISE! I asked for my request to be escalated to a superior but have had no reply. Do Not order from Dressbarn.com! Waste of effort, awful customer service and only get gift card refunds.

    You can only contact Dressbarn via email. I have been going back-and-forth with them for weeks. I placed an order on October 20. One item finally showed up on November 12. I requested a refund for the other item that hasn’t shipped. Their site confirms this but they keep saying the item was received. I’ve gotten nowhere. Do not shop with them. I’ve paid for merchandise that I don’t have.

    Do not shop here unless you know exactly what you're getting will fit or be what you want. They do not do refunds, only store credits. I ordered two shirts that were too short on me, so a different size wouldn't have mattered. They wouldn't give me a refund - said I had to return the shirts and then it would be under review from their manager. Zero response, and then was sent a giftcard. Can't use it if their clothes are too short on me. It's absolutely ridiculous for them to not offer refunds.

    I ordered to of the same dress in different sizes and both were so small on bottom half you cannot get over your head. I then got Covid and was too sick to return within the 30 day timeframe. I started emailing them only 3 days past the 30 day mark, but they can take up to 3 days to get back to you. I have also called and they will not budge on the 30 day mark even if you were on your death bed. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

    Ordered a pair of denim jeans. Size 10. Jeans fit like a size 20. Tried to exchange, but it was over 30 days. Denied. Dressbarn asks customers to be patient due to COVID yet they have no understanding of how busy people can be WORKING during a pandemic, especially as a First Responder. No respect for their customers or hard working BUSY people. I will be spending my hard earned wages elsewhere. RIP customer service.

    I ordered a dress online 7/2. Immediately afterwards, my credit card was hacked. Never received a shipping confirmation. Multiple calls and emails. They cannot fulfill the order. They promised in an email that credit would return to my card. More multiple calls and emails lasting months. Finally they offered a gift card for a return. It was NOT a return. They failed to fulfill the order. Do Not want or accept a gift card. Want my order refunded to my card.

    I ordered a dress for a wedding, it was the wrong size, tried calling them for a refund and they would only honor a credit. I had to call them 3 months later to ask for my credit. They forgot to note they received the return. So they then honored a return through my email. That didn't work. Called back and they re-issued a card. Now they will not honor any discounts unless I purchase their 9.99 monthly subscription. Called customer service, the guy on the other end of the phone, had broken English. So very hard to understand and it was so loud where he was working that he said he could not help me because he couldn't hear me!! Just trying to use up a credit, it's been the worst experience in retail EVER!

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I purchased three pairs of shorts from the online store believing I could return them online or in the store. Well, there are no stores any longer. It took 4 weeks to receive, the material and workmanship was cheap and the fit was not accurate. THIS IS NOT DRESSBARN. There was not return address or label to return the items and no phone number to customer service. I used the online chat and email and never heard anything back. They have a "strict" return policy for only a limited time so I took a chance and found an address online and returned with tracking and signature required. I had to pay $20 for return shipping. Fast forward to two weeks after the package was signed for and received....I only received a store credit!! This company, whoever they are, do not issue credit card refunds. I'm out nearly $100 from this sham company. Do not use.

    I bought a dress for a wedding, I bought it on July 4th because they offered a sale, turns out they were over pricing it because now the dress is half the price. I tried canceling it and got no response and they shipped it out. I figured I would just try it and stop trying to contact. That was a mistake, they not only sent me the wrong dress, it was wrinkled beyond fixing and was thinner than paper. My underwear was visible upon wearing it and in no way worth 140 dollars!!

    I tried contacting them multiple times and they ignored 5 of my tickets, the man on the phone told me I would get a gift card and I almost freaked but politely told him I tried to cancel the order within hours of completing the purchase PLUS its the wrong freaking dress!! He promised to credit my bank back. I sent it back promptly and it got to them within two days. They let this sit for at least 7 business days, he promised a credit within 5 to 6 days at least. I contacted them immediately and the support person gave me a credit of 120 bucks. Less than what I paid. NEVER BUY FROM DRESSBARN UNLESS IN A STORE, THE ONLINE STORE IS A SCAM!!! DRESSES ARE NOT AS PICTURED. BE WARNED! I will be disputing with my bank and made a complaint with BBB. Do better

    Don't buy clothes from Dressbarn, the quality is horrible. I bought a dress for $153 and it looks like my Grandmother kitchen curtains. I try to return it. They said they only give me store credit. I'm calling the customer affairs.

    The online store is a joke, do not shop with them. I have had decent luck at the physical stores so thought it would be a good option for an online purchase. I bought a dress, a skirt, and two shirts. None of them were of good quality, all workmanship was shoddy and the fabrics were thin and cheap. I knew they had a strict return policy so I immediately reached out to customer service to begin the return process. I got an immediate response saying they were working on the return but have not heard another word from them. I have responded to the email over 8 times asking for more information and have not received a response. Now I am over the 30 days they give for returns. I reached out again through the website and still no response. I am very dissatisfied with my experience and would not recommend shopping online with Dressbarn to anyone.

    If you have a physical store to shop at, I recommend that over shopping online. If you make a return, they only give you store credit. I understood this from the beginning which was fine until I received my order. Their clothes are cheap and sizing is all over the place. I returned EVERYTHING 2x and the third time, I found 1 thing I liked out of over 200.00 spent. They allow 30 days to return. I was so burned out dealing with them, decided to just donate it to Charity. I'm sure that's what they love to hear. They got your money either way. Never again. May the force be with you if you decide to give it a try!!
