The staff at Shake A Paw was very informative and very patient with us. Answered all of our questions before and after the purchase of our new puppy. All of their puppies looked very well taken care of. Would definitely recommend.

I bought my Jack Russel, Sammy, from here and he's absolutely the best dog in the world! The staff here was so helpful and found us the perfect Jack that we bonded with the best! Now my friends and I will go there when we are stressed and go look at the puppies! James is the nicest and personally came over and talked to my friend and I and let us play with cutest puppy! I will always go to them and HIGHLY recommend!

Shake a Paw helped us pick out a great companion pup. Really friendly staff and a great place to look for pets as well as food and supplies. I enjoyed my experience and enjoy returning to Shake a Paw for great service.

Dogs are akc certified. Very clean and organized place to shop for a puppy. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Help me picked up supplies after I bought my puppy since I was the first time owner of a puppy. Very patient customer service every time I go back to shop. Everybody in the store says hi to my puppy since they still remember him. Haha. All in all, if any of my friends looking for a pet I’d recommend them to take a look at this place before they make a decision. Below is my cutie pie. He is 3.5 month old now.

I wanted to write a review to tell people about my experience at Shake A Paw. It started with just a trip to shake a paw to see the puppies. We were greeted by Bryan who was extremely helpful, friendly and a pleasure to talk to. He introduced us to a Mini Australian Shepard who we fell in love with immediately and decided to purchase. We then met James the manager was also extremely nice, helpful and a pleasure to interact with. My experience was 5 star and I recommend shake a paw to anyone looking to bring home a new member of the family!!

McHaela the associate was great in finding us our forever puppy and also helped us with giving information on how to take care of him and also telling us everything we needed for him. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Wow great place to buy a puppy!! Brian was so great helping us with our purchase. He helped us with all our questions. They even said we can call any time while they are open to ask for help. If your looking to buy a dog please try them first if not see them before you buy. Really are friendly and helpful.

Purchased our fourth dog recently and the experience was quick and easy. The staff treated us well and was helpful with our questions. We were able to purchase all the supplies we needed and whenever we go in they continue to be very helpful and insightful.

It’s a wonderful place to go, my friend and I went there and she fell in love instantly. It’s a wonder establishment to go to. They have my blessing. The workers are very kind and they teach you everything you need to know about your dog.

Adopted a 4 month old mini dachshund, she's been everything we've wanted and more. Her dewclaw was incorrectly removed, and Shake a Paw paid for its removal. They recommended a wonderful vet, who we love. Side note - we went in every Saturday for several months simply to play with puppies before we found the perfect one. Shake a Paw was very patient with us during this process and helped us pick out the best puppy.

My girlfriend and I are in the market for a Puppy. After spending a decent amount of time in the Lynbrook store yesterday deciding which puppy we like best, my girlfriend asked to play with a puppy. We asked a male sales Rep which told us we had to ask another female sales rep. When the female sales rep approached us and we asked to play with the puppy, her response was “are you sure you really want to play with this puppy? They get sick very often so you probably shouldn’t.” I told her that we were seriously interested and finally she let my girlfriend play with the puppy. My girlfriend went in the booth with the puppy and I stood outside looking in. The female sales rep left and the male sales rep came over. I asked him how much a different puppy was and he looked at me and responded “a lot” which I was offended by.

We purchased our Basset Hound, Caramel, from Shake-A-Paw. Kez was friendly and very helpful. She made sure we had all the items we needed for Caramel. Caramel made a wonderful transition to his new home and sends many licks to Kez for her help.

We have had such wonderful experiences with your Hicksville Shake a Paw. We first went to Hicksville for a dog and bought a mastiff, then we returned a year later and got a Frenchie. Today James helped us again and we now have another Frenchie. Thank you for hiring such wonderful, knowledgeable and caring staff! It is nice to walk in and see the same friendly faces.

My girlfriend and I had made a short list of puppies that we thought would be a good fit for us and our apartment. The staff was very helpful and helped us make an informed decision about the best puppy for us. We ended up spending a number of hours with the puppy we picked and the staff answered lots of our questions and were very patient with us! He's very socialized and friendly, and it's obvious they take great care of the puppies. We recently went back to visit, and our puppy was so excited to see the staff!

I walked into Shake A Paw with my dog recently with the intent of finding a treat for my dog. They have an edited selection, as their focus is more on selling puppies than on being a pet supplies store. I was able to find a yummy treat for my dog, and the staff was very friendly to me and my dog.

Best decision of a lifetime was going to Shake A Paw on a Sunday. We found our baby boy (Yorkie Poo) that my wife and I fell in love with. The Shake a Paw team members made it very easy for us to be approved and go home with our baby the next day. The Vet visits were covered as we were told and also received help from the crew in training. Thank You so much for making this decision memorable!!

We recently purchased our 10-week old Teddy Bear puppy from Shake a Paw. We had excellent service and the staff was very knowledgeable in getting us ready to take her home - Anthony was super helpful! They went over carefully her daily routine, what the first couple weeks would be like and supplied us with all the necessities she needed. I would recommend anyone looking for a puppy to stop by and chat with the staff! Great puppy selection, as well as other animals; i.e. cats, fish, rabbits.

I live in Lynbrook and have been to this store hundreds of times. Each time has been extremely positive experience. The staff is extremely nice and knowledgeable not only about all their puppies but all their products as well. Besides the super staff, the store itself is extremely clean and they are constantly cleaning out the puppy playpens. I went in today to return an item but couldn't find my receipt. Tina went above and beyond for such a little item - but that is customer service at its finest!!!

I have been going to Shake A Paw since they opened many years ago. I purchase all of my puppy (dog) supplies and food from them throughout the years. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Kathy (an employee) for several years now. She always greets me with a big smile and hello. She goes out of her way to assist with any supplies I need. While purchasing supplies, I usually take a few minutes to play and look at the many breeds of puppies on display that day. Most of the time they're on many types and different sizes and temperaments. There's nothing that can change a bad day to good more than the happiness shown from a puppy when you give them a little of your attention. They are very well taken care of by the entire staff.

We purchased our last two puppies from Lynbrook Shake a paw. We purchase all of our food and toys from their continuously and find them to be very attentive and professional. The puppies are doing great!

We bought Bailey here 7 years ago. He is beautiful and loving and healthy. Bailey is a unique looking mix breed and I got him at 8 weeks old. James helped me pick out his food and all his doggy needs and referred me to a vet. I had a great experience getting Bailey. I was allowed to play with him and knew right away he was the one.

I can't imagine going anywhere else to get what I need for my pups. We brought them home from the Hicksville store in April and have been back a ton of times since. Everytime I go into Shake a Paw for my puppy’s supplies, I am always greeted by the employees (I wish I can remember her name). They are also really helpful in finding what I need. They even follow up with how my puppy is doing. I highly recommend!

We stop by the Lynbrook store quite often as we have purchased a dog from them in the past. We are looking for a new puppy. Tina is very knowledgeable. Hopefully we will find our new fur ever friend soon at Shake A Paw in Lynbrook.

This is the best place to buy an animal. I got my little Daisy from here. She was healthy and pretty as can be. I recommend all looking for a new addition to the family to stop by and give them a chance. Excellent store!

Had a great experience with the purchase of my guinea pig for my children. After a day being home the water dispenser I purchased was leaking and they were very helpful and gave me a new one. They provided me and my kids with everything I needed to care for the animal and educated us on what to expect.

Our experience in buying a Havachon was good at Shake A Paw Puppies. Anthony brought us two adorable dogs and allowed us time with them in a private space. He answered our questions with appropriate knowledge and to the best of his ability. He reviewed, quickly all of the information we would need to care for Louie. Anthony helped us pick out appropriate accessories for our new pet, Louie. Anthony reviewed all of the paperwork needed.

Shake a Paw Hicksville - I am satisfied with Shake a Paw and bought my furry friend a while back and was very happy with the customer service and help to find the right buddy for me and love the selection of designer dogs that I can't really find anywhere else. For example, I got my Pomsky there and you guys did a great job helping me and giving me information.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The store was extremely clean. We were able to sit and play with our new puppy without feeling rushed. Our new puppy had his forever home, and was extremely healthy. The first week we had to go to the first well visit with their vet, we were so happy with their chose. The office was clean and staff friendly, we would of love to return there but was too far from our home. Overall experience was amazing and we love our puppy Spike!!!

Dog was taken from her mother too soon and she has puppy anxiety. Now her both knees have to have a operation. At 7 months old. I paid over 3,000.00 dollars for her. She was born in Another state and it must have been a puppy mill. He has to be shut down. No one these days has money to spend like that. We love our pet and we are heartbroken. I have a sick husband and I am sick myself. My children got us the dog for happiness not to have trouble with it.

I really want to thank both James and Micaela for the best service. I purchased 2 Jack Russell from this store in Hicksville and are 100% satisfied. My girl, Daisybelle is 15 and my boy, Finnegan is 5. James is fun, friendly and full of information and Michaela is sweet, very helpful and informative.

They have a great selection of dog breeds, with different ages and types. It's worth it just to see the puppies because of the amazing variety. I got a Shiba Inu puppy, Hachie, there at about 10 weeks old in June 21. (I was so curious of his peculiarly amazing/well-behaved temperament so I got his 5 generation pedigree from AKC and found out he has a bunch of Champion bloodlines.) I love/appreciate that they give health insurance for about a month when you get a puppy there. Puppies are fragile and it can be stressful for their health moving place to place from the breeder to the store and ultimately to their forever home.

I purchased my new puppy in June 2017. I went back and forth to Shake A Paw Lynbrook several times, each time Chris was so happy to see me and ever so patient with me. I did not know what I wanted to purchase. Since my husband passed away I was very confused if I really wanted a puppy. Well Chris should be recognized for his outstanding help, consideration, devotion and loving care he gave to me. I finally walked in in June and he walked me to the new puppies that just came in and there she was, he stood with me the whole time I was bonding with her then he graciously made sure that I had everything I needed for my new life with my new love, and love her I do.

I got my second dog from here today and James was so helpful as well as Michaela. They answered all the questions I had and explained thoroughly. Amazing customer service and store. I'm so in love with my new dog!

We bought our pet Ziggy at Shake a Paw 10 months ago. McHaela was our sales rep. She was very sweet & attentive. On occasion we return to pick up some supplies & when we run into McHaela she always greets us w/ such enthusiasm. She always remembers us & Our dog Ziggy & even asks us to bring him in one day so she can see how he's doing. It's a pleasure not only to be greeted by such a sweet person, but to feel like she really cares about our dog.

I recently adopted a dog at the Shake A Paw in Hicksville Long Island. Tony, the salesperson, was very helpful, informative, and polite. As were the rest of the staff. I would recommended this location to anyone who is looking for a pet. We are pleased with our adoption.

It was a trip to the pet store we will never forget. We had went in the store to purchase rabbit hay and walked out with our German Shepherd puppy. Let me begin by saying that buying my puppy is the best choice I've ever made, and Shake A Paw in Hicksville, NY really made it easy. From the beginning, their staff were considerate, knowledgeable and professional. I used their website to find my Pomsky, and soon made a visit. All the workers are kind and and are outgoing. In love with all the animals in here. James is very kind and seems like a great person. They allow you to play with the pets and all the pets seem very playful and safe. The area is very clean and I would definitely come again.

Best pet store I've ever been to. Last Monday, 5/15, was our second time visiting this Shake a Paw. My boyfriend, son and I went in to get some new fish for our fish tank. This is also why we went the first time. Last time as well as this, our experience was superb. Michaela was working that day, an expert on fish with several tanks of her own. She helped us pick out a new filter, which is still working great. She told us which fish we could get and mix with the ones we had, as well as which ones we shouldn't. She was very polite and professional.

I bought my puppy a Havapoo at Shake A Paw 7 years ago and have been going there since to buy food, treats and toys. I recently went there and Cathy took care of me, I must say she has the most wonderful smile and attitude. It doesn't surprise me because I have never had a problem there in seven years. I bought my puppy from Shake A Paw 13 years ago. She was a Goldendoodle. The best dog ever. I lost her 1 year ago and They in fact found the right dog for me. Beautiful Labradoodle, boy, chocolate brown with a sweet kind disposition. Tina took great care of him while he was waiting to come home. She trained him to sit and brushed him every day. It's a very trustworthy place which is hard to find when looking for an important member of your family. Super place, long history of being in business, great staff and great quality puppies.

Approximately two years ago, I went to Shake A Paw to get a new addition to the family. Tina was an absolute delight in ensuring I found and connected with the right pup. We brought home our puppy the same day. He was healthy at the time of purchase and remains so now.

Had a great experience 14 years ago when we purchased our Wheaten Terrier and last week purchased our new addition a Yo-Shon (Yorkie/Bichon). Corey was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable as was the rest of the staff! Whenever we go, they are always on top of the puppies, cleaning out the doggie dens and maintaining the store.

I went with my family to look at an English Mastiff puppy, the store was very clean and they had a lot of people working to keep the puppies cages clean. There was no smell at all and the rooms to play with the pups was very clean. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. We dealt with the manager James who was real nice and helpful. We never felt rushed or pressured.

This is our second puppy we got from Shake A Paw in Hicksville and love them. James was so helpful and polite. He is a world of knowledge about dogs. They have a great policy regarding new puppies. So if you are like let's looking for a new four legged companion I recommend Shake A Paw.

I had an AMAZING experience with Shake A Paw in Lynbrook. Tina was our puppy consultant who was able to answer all of our questions and showed us all the different breeds that would be good for our family. Tina showed us an 8 week old Pug Beagle mix (Puggle) which we fell in love with. We never owned a dog before and she made sure we were comfortable (also taught our children how to care for the pup!!!). I had the best experience at Shake A Paw Puppies. I went in to just look and fell in love with a Bulldog. Tina was great. She was not pushy and answered any question I had. We left with our little girl the same day. The presentation of how they wrap them in receiving blankets and bows was like the feeling the day I took my son home from the hospital. I was told puppy (13 week old cavalier King Charles spaniel) was on ** as treatment for kennel cough. I was advised they would bring him to vet for ok for sale. They refused stating he had not coughed for over 36 hours. Two and a half days after sale he was admitted for treatment of pneumonia, worms, and parasites with 5 days of iv antibiotics, nebulizer and three diarrhea meds. Not surprisingly, they refuse to release his medical records to me. Weeks of diligent home care are now necessary to return him to health.

It was a great experience. This was my second time buying a Chow Chow puppy from Shake A Paw. I felt the puppy was cared for and loved at Shake A Paw. Tina really cared for and showed concern for the puppies' health and well being. She made sure we were the right fit for the dog and he was right for us. The puppy is happy and healthy at home. We purchased our American Eskimo Dog at Shake A Paw in Hicksville and this place is GREAT! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The dogs are well taken care of and if any issues arise, they offer services through a local vet. We used the vet services as the puppy developed a cough and they covered the visits, even after the 2 week coverage period as they stand by their word. They are a reputable place and care about their animals.

My husband and I recently decided to expand our family. We went to Shake A Paw to find a puppy and while we didn't walk out with one this weekend we did decide that during the next long break we have- that we would come back for our pup. We love the pups there and the service we received.

I got a toy poodle from the Shake A Paw store near our house six months ago and I had no problems at all. The overall cleanliness and appearance of the store was very good. Their staff was very good. I still go in there to buy dog food and they always take care of me. I am very happy with them.

The worker I dealt with when I bought my Shorkie was Tina. She was very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable throughout the sales process. I have been back to the store for supplies and she is always cheerful and willing to help me with whatever I need for Chewie.

I have gotten two beautiful dogs from shake a paw. I got a border collie named Stefan there about two years ago and he has brought so much love to our family, it's priceless. We were looking for a specific type of puppy and Shake a Paw was one of the pet stores that was within our area that had it. So we went to their Hicksville location and the store was very clean and well-kept. We got a Cavapoo, he's delicious and we love him. The reps also gave us all the stuff that we would need to care for him and provided a full week's worth of vet care after the purchase of the dog. They did a nice job and we had a really good experience. As a matter of fact, we're looking into getting another dog from them. I know that their reputation is not the same as the experience that we had but because of the reputation, we felt that we should do our due diligence with our puppy after purchasing it. We brought him right away to the vet to make sure everything was okay with him and that he was healthy.

It was our first time getting a pup. Our experience at Shake a Paw couldn't have been better. All the staff was knowledgeable and helpful especially Chris. He had answers to all of our questions and we liked that he was honest with us the whole way through. He had a clear passion and guided us to find the perfect dog! My daughter bought a puppy from Shake a Paw. She liked it and so I went online myself and everything just went from there. My puppy's a Mini Hippo which is a Cocker Spaniel Shar-Pei mix and he's now two years old. I dealt with other stores before and Shake a Paw was pretty good. I would recommend them.

I adopted a dog from a friend and they got the dog from Shake a Paw Puppies. I was looking for a rescue dog of the same breed which is not that common, so I checked with them if they had any. When I went over there, I liked what I saw in terms of the environment. The dogs were in open pens there. The puppies can be seen in a more natural environment amongst themselves playing and frolicking. Even the ones that were enclosed and in smaller containers, they were clean and well-maintained and the animals looked to be in good health and in good condition. All of their eyes were clear, they didn't spit and there was no smell even when you took the mouth. The animals looking healthy was an indication of having maintained it off-hours as well. My neighbors who have young dogs got their dogs there too and they also had very good things to say.

We saw Shake a Paw in the neighborhood and the people who went there got great dogs. We got a Mini Goldendoodle from the Lynbrook location and the store was spotless. The customer service was also excellent. They were very attentive and good. Omar, the young man who helped us, explained everything very well. He remembered our names and the dog two weeks later when we walked in.

We got a lovely puppy from Shake a Paw!! Everyone there was very pleasant and helpful. This is the second time we got a puppy from them and was very pleased. I would definitely recommend this place when you are looking for your Fur ever friend!!

Last week In September I went in Shake A Paw and fell in love with my fur baby. When we were about to start paperwork I noticed he had a little cough and snots. They said they had to keep him until he was vet approved to leave. On October 6th they called me. He was cleared to go home. I went with my son and fill out paperwork. I told them I had my own vet. I was told fine. If any issues bring in the bills and they want them in then send me a check.

Everyone here was so helpful with the purchase of our new Maltese puppy! He has the best personality and such a sweetheart! We highly recommend Shake A Paw to anyone looking to take home a new fur baby!

James and the staff here at Shake a Paw are wonderful. We purchased a Mini Golden Doodle who unfortunately needed a few days rest and he could not be released to us right away. The staff let us visit everyday and play with our new pup until he was cleared to come home. They made us feel welcome and secure in our decision to go with our new puppy. Shake A Paw - Long island- bought a puppy from this store. Initial experience when purchasing the dog was good. Returned with some basic questions and it turned into a non-friendly experience. Would I recommend this place to friends and family that are interested in a pet or supplies? The answer would be no. I can only imagine if I had real problems that needed to be address. Sorry, but I will be taking my and my friends' business elsewhere.

A friend of mine bought a puppy from Shake a Paw a few years ago and said she had a good customer service experience. The store was in the neighborhood. I went and checked them out a few times before I made a selection. I wanted something small and had gone to shelters too but the small ones that came in there were sickly, so I decided to make a purchase instead. Also when I buy a dog from a pet store, I have more information. I got a Maltipoo last March. Sunshine is five months old and very friendly, energetic, and lovable. I wanted to buy the same type of feed that they were giving Sunshine, at least to start off with and I’m still using the same one. The guys at the Lynbrook store were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Omar was our guide that night to picking out the right puppy for us. Omar was great, so helpful and kind. We left with the right puppy that night – a Mini Golden Doodle. I would get another from that store. The puppy is great and lovable. Omar even remembered us when we went back a week later to buy Ruby more toys. Love the store and Omar for a perfect puppy named Ruby :)

I purchased my 4 months Australian Cattle dog. The staff were great. They weren't pushy as some pet stores can be and were extremely knowledgeable especially for the type of breed he is. They also provide a certificate for a free physical at a local vet in which is at no cost to you. Completely Satisfied and would recommend to others!

We live about four blocks from Shake A Paw in Lynbrook and that’s like our second place to live. I love going in there and we're always looking around. We got our puppy there almost four years ago when we tried to adopt one and I couldn’t find one that I loved. She’s a Pekingese Poodle and she’s a lap dog. She’s at least seven and a half to eight pounds. She’s healthy and her name is Bailey. We got her when she was just four months old.

We purchased an English Bulldog from Shake a Paw three years ago in the month of May. Her name is Lola and she's now three years old. They say it could be a little tricky with English Bulldogs because they usually have issues, but we’ve been lucky. So far, Lola’s perfect. She gets regular vet visits, and she has a clean bill of health. I’ve actually brought her into Shake a Paw to visit. We’ve stopped in there from time to time looking to also purchase another dog in the future.

We got our golden doodle from Shake a Paw in Lynbrook, their customer service was above & beyond!! Not only was the staff friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable, they walked us through everything from his breeder to his favorite chew toys. I read good reviews and a lot of references about Shake a Paw so I decided to purchase a bulldog from their Lynbrook location during the summer of August 2015. I got an English bulldog and named her Reese. She's about six months now and she's red and white. I've been to both Hicksville and Lynbrook locations and I like both stores, but I think the store in Lynbrook is clean and the people there were more friendly. The pet experts and consultants were really experienced and any questions that I had were all answered. Being a first-time dog owner is not easy and I was nervous at the beginning, but they made me feel comfortable. Also, they have all the supplies over there and showed me everything I needed for the puppy. Overall, I think Shake a Paw was great and I'm satisfied with them. My dog is doing great and she's a happy little dog.

If you get a price quote from anyone in the store, get it in writing if you are not purchasing the same day. I was quoted a price, in front of 2 other people and today I was quoted a price that was $500 more. The salesperson denies that she quoted me the lower price. GET IT IN WRITING!

Not only did I have an amazing experience purchasing my puppy at Shake a Paw, but the amazingness has continued for years thereafter. I purchase all of my supplies there because they are like family... They always ask about my puppy by name, and they always remember the types of toys he loves and the types of foods and snacks he eats. Shake a Paw is an awesome place with really great people!!!

Shake a Paw’s amazing. I walked in ‘cause I was looking for a dog for a while. As soon as I walked into that store, the amount of dogs that they had compared to how the store looked and smelled showed me that they actually do the right thing. I’ve been to stores where they have 20 dogs and I couldn’t even walk in to the place. Shake a Paw has close to 100 dogs and I couldn’t even smell them.

I purchased a Siberian husky puppy from Shake A Paw in Lynbrook New York. I was greeted immediately by Krista who was very warm and friendly. She answered all my questions and was very patient with me. She was very knowledgeable and could tell passionate about what she does and of course a dog lover. She took care of me from start to finish. During the decision process to bringing my family to interact with the puppy we were considering, she addressed everyone's concerns and questions. Although Shake A Paw was not the cheapest option it was the experience that we were provided that made it the right choice. I had a great experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for a pleasant and warm experience when making this important and significant purchase.

Shake A Paw's pet experts and consultants were very good. I wanted a cute little baby and they recommended a Teddy Bear which is a cross between a Shih Tzu and a Bichon. I love my puppy and I got her at the Lynbrook location. I had a very good experience but I wish the parking is better.

Shake a Paw has a better selection than the other pet stores, their explanation of the breeds of dogs are very informative, and it seemed like a more professional puppy store, so I bought a black and tan German Shepherd pup on March 19th at the Lynbrook store. I named him Bonsai. The people working at Shake A Paw were very well versed in their stuff. I'm very pleased, and my experience was great. There were no hitches and everything is going fine with the pup.

I had a great time purchasing our new puppy. Salespeople really know their stuff. I dealt with Chris at Shake A Paw in Hicksville. The guy knew everything about all different breeds. They’re clean at Shake A Paw Puppies, immaculate. If the puppies went to the bathroom, it was cleaned up right away. There was no odor when I walked in there. Even when I brought my friends, they were amazed at how clean it was. The animals looked like they’re well taken care of. I have two dogs from them named Lacey and Simon and they're very good. I have a Shih Tzu that’s six and a three-pound Yorkie that's 13. I got them at the Shake A Paw Puppies Hicksville location. The people there were great too. They knew everything I needed. I had to call up about housebreaking one of the dogs and they took their time. I didn't have a problem, even in going in to buy supplies, a playpen or whatever I needed. If I had a problem that my dog didn’t like, such as something he wasn’t gonna use, I could bring it back. They’re good like that. They're helpful. I have recommended them to friends and family.

We took home our female Shih Tzu on Christmas Eve from Shake a Paw Puppies at Lynbrook. The store was very nice and clean. Everybody was very nice and they seemed knowledgeable. They had a very nice plan because we bought the puppy before that day, and they managed to keep the puppy in the office until Christmas Eve so we could take her home and surprise the kids. It was a very good experience and would definitely go there again.

I am very happy with Shake A Paw. A friend of mine recommended this store to us and I chose them because they helped a lot with any request. I have two Shih Tzu Maltese named Gigi and Bella - one is five and the other is four years old - and they're very happy and healthy. I got them from Shake A Paw's Hicksville location. It's very clean, that's why we go there often. We recommend it to other members of the family and friends as well.

I know some people who bought their dogs from Shake a Paw and they told me that they were very happy, so I decided to also buy my Havanese Bichon from Shake a Paw. She is eight years old now and I bought her from the Lynbrook location, which is an excellent and super clean store. Their pet experts and consultant were very helpful. They gave me paperwork on how to train the dog, how to care for her and recommended some vets in my area that I happen to love. When I did have a question about training her after we got home, I called back and the sales rep who helped us got on the phone and spent a lot of time with us with any questions we had asked her. It was our first time buying a dog, and we felt very comfortable and confident, and we had a wonderful experience.

Shake a Paw seemed most convenient and knew what they were doing. They basically picked out my puppy for me. I told them what I was looking for and they pointed me to the right dog then showed me all the supplies and everything I might need. I now have a German Shepherd named Kobe who's about four months old. They were also very helpful and gave good service overall. I've been to other pet stores before and it wasn't the same. Furthermore, Shake A Paw's store in Lynbrook didn't smell, was really clean, and looked well.

I have to say I am so happy I came across Shake A Paw to find my puppy a sweet & smart Boston Terrier Viper. We found him on the internet for Shake A Paw & we went to the store & immediately fell in love with our 5 month old Boston Terrier. We knew we wanted him while we spent time with him in the room. We went to visit him everyday for two weeks until we were able to bring him home. Everyone was so helpful, well-informed & so nice. I can tell my puppy was well taken care of & he was loved by everyone that worked there. My puppy responded very well to everyone while being there we saw & when we brought him back to visit.
