This treat causes diarrhea in puppies. I am taking my 11 week old puppy to the vet to be checked. I'm pretty sure it's the treats from Bil-Jac that is causing this diarrhea. I just want to warn other owners of puppies not to give the treat to their puppies.

After the huge food recall scare we wanted to find our dogs good food and treats. We ran into my husband’s old Co-worker and she had her dogs on Bil-Jac for years. We have four dogs and they love the food and treats. We have been using the dog food for many years now and everyone brings their dog over when they visit and their dogs just love it and most have switched to Bil-Jac. Love it’s made here in the USA and family owned.
We have a Golden Retriever, Pomeranian, Papillon, and Mixed breed little spit fire. Lol. We rescued her from a local rescue group. She was mean and a bitter but my pack is so awesome and she is so loved. She is a totally different dog. Until I take her for her yearly checkup and shots. Then the little girl turns into Cujo dog. Lol. I will muzzle her at the vet or she will bite them so hard and fast. But when we got her you could see her skin it and she looked pretty ratty. But now she has a thick beautiful coat. Our Pomeranian OMG she has a gorgeous coat. Everyone just loves her big bushy coat. My Golden he has Epilepsy but he has a beautiful coat and 12 yrs old. Last our Papillon is 17 yrs old and gone blind and deaf but if you didn’t look close up at him you would not think he’s old. His coat is also thick and shiny.
I have had neck/back surgery and not bathed them for two months. I use a doggy cologne when visitors come. But they look so healthy and our vet said what do we feed them and I told him. They sell Science Diet I think but he said their blood work is good and they look very healthy too. Oh our grand doggie schnauzer she always came over for weekends and loved Bil-Jac. She would not want to eat her food when she went home so she’s on Bil-Jac and her coat is beautiful and silky from eating it as well.

Gave these to my Yorker and golden, the Golden has diarrhea. The Yorker had bloody diarrhea for 10 days. Took her to vet and was told she had a virus. So I thought maybe the treats weren’t the cause. Waited about 3 weeks and gave them some treats, bloody diarrhea came back. Do not give your dogs these! This MADE me pick one star. I’d give them a 0.

The day after opening and training my Goldendoodle with a brand new package of this product she vomited, stopped eating and drinking. The next day she had three episodes of explosive diarrhea, in our house, a first since being house broken 6 years ago! (Thank God for wooden floors!) She’s was diagnosed with gastritis, on Flagyl for 5 days, and lost 5 out of her 78 pounds! Anyone else have any problems?

I came here to see if anyone else had reported that their dog had an allergic reaction to these treats. Our dog immediately began to dry heave and have difficulty breathing after just one of these treats was consumed. I'm not sure what ingredient in these treats caused the reaction, but we discontinued use of this product immediately. I'm only reporting this here so that other pet owners will know that it happened with our shepherd mix breed 1 year old dog.

Bil-Jac brand dry dog food was recommended to us at a PetSmart store by another dog owner. We started with Puppy Select Chicken then on to Small Breed Adult. Lately we're using Picky No More Medium breed which I settled on from Chewy.com since at the time they did not have in stock what I wanted and their price was the best. Our dog noticed the difference but eventually started eating it by the next day or so. When it's time to reorder I will go back to the Small Breed Adult since the food bits are smaller and I want her to have the additional food variety like oatmeal and yams.

My dog actually eats a home prepared diet, but for years Bil-Jac has been the back up food for the reason that it is the only prepared food on the planet that he will eat. The Bil-Jac company states that it is highly palatable and that all dogs will eat it. My friends have had the same experience with it, some of whom use it for the primary diet.

The other day I was shopping for ice cream in the frozen food section and believed I bought Frozen treats for myself only two find out that the treats were nonhuman consumption and have been sold from my frozen food section 4 years without detection and tactfully placed for blending purposes and marketing Target. I am concerned with CDC posting meaning different advisories and warnings about dog food handling and cross contaminating human food. Check it out. I am not a dog hater.

Love Bil-Jac for our Belgian Malinois. Our K9 officer/trainer recommended it and our dog loves it. But it's not easy to find. Only PetSmart carries it. It is a bit pricey but well worth it.

I like the amount of chicken Bil-Jac contains and less filler. The dogs enjoy it. Talked to a representative and the kibble will dissolve in water, whereas many of the cheaper brands will not.

Switched to this food after my poms were sick on another popular brand and they absolutely love this food and the treats! They’re both happy and healthy with beautiful coats. They never leave a drop of food in their bowls. I read a comment where someone said their dogs were still hungry after eating Bil-Jac and I would have to say that they just love the food! My Pomeranians do the same thing but I know they’re healthy and at a normal weight. I have nothing negative to say about this product and recommend it highly!

I have been feeding my dog this food for years. There's a number of things that I like about this company. They are the only company out there that lists how much chicken is used to make each bag. They are a small company and all of their dry food come from one plant. They make a wonderful spray on probiotic which is great for gassy dogs. All of their by products are 100% organic.

Bil-Jac Dog food - I just started my 2 dogs on this food a week ago as my Aussie kept throwing up other natural foods. They really like it! But they are not getting full 2 and a half cups each in the morning and evening, but they are still hungry, so I may have to try something else.

Despite the negative reviews I found when researching Bil-Jac; I gave my dog the Bil-Jac challenge and she's been eating it ever since! I hate the way the food crumbles and turns to powder but have put up with it until now. This week we scooped up the food, added it to my dog's dish and a big clump of molded stuck together food came out - DISGUSTING!!!! I am hoping my dog does not become ill.

We have fed this food to 5 different dogs (over a 25 year period) and they have always loved the taste, have great coats, perfect outside deposits and great blood work ups at our veterinarians. It works and best they love it!

My maltipoo was upchucking every natural brand of kibble the vet recommended. I found a sample sack of Bil-Jac and another brand. This is the only brand he keeps down consistently. It is healthy and affordable.

Could be cheaper compared to other brands. Usually they don't tend to close properly. I still consider it one of the cheaper alternatives. I have to buy at a store that's kinda far from my house although there are plenty of stores near me. The store always has them in stock however I have noticed. The ingredients are typical to what you would find in these products. Some healthier alternatives exist as well as worse. Hopefully they'll provide healthier ingredients in later products. He is happy with this product more than with others. I've tried different products but he doesn't seem to enjoy them as much. I'm glad this product exists and is readily available.

These treats are great for training. They are kind of pricey, but used for a high value training aid they are great because our dog loves them, they even smell like they should taste good. We purchase online and have always been able to find treats in stock, we can also usually find them at our local Walmart if we forget to order ahead. These treats are made of real chicken or liver. They smell and look like a good treat. At a dog training class the other dogs liked our treats better than most of those the other dog owners brought to class. When we open a package of Bil-Jac our dog goes crazy. She loves the smell and taste. We use these to train her to help with tasks around the house. They are great high value training rewards.

Fairly good pricing - not as expensive as some treats and especially not as expensive as those available through the veterinarian supplied products. Readily available product - easy to find in pet stores and also in grocery stores making it easy to come by. While the product offerings supplied by veterinarians seemed to have better quality ingredients those in the bil-jac seemed to be of relatively good quality too. Moderately satisfied - good availability, fair ingredients, adequate pricing and appealing to the pet make the Bil-Jac a good choice for pet treat.

The treats are more expensive than other treats like my milk bones so, I would probably just buy milk bones because they are just as good and cheaper. You can buy the treats at petco and walmart even though the other treats at these stores are just as good and cheaper. Dogs like all treats. High quality ingredients. They seem higher quality than milk bones or generic but they should be higher quality because they are expensive. My dogs like all treats. They are dogs who like treats. They love all snacks including Bil-Jac but also other treats are good.

They were a little pricey but the satisfaction my dog got was well worth the price. If I could afford these more often I would definitely buy them more. The availability is plentiful. Just the price of these treats makes it hard to afford them many more times. My dog loved them. My dog has sensitivities to products and the quality of these ingredients satisfied her very well so the ingredients are of high quality. I would highly recommend this product to people who have dogs with sensitivities.

The price on the Little-Jacs are perfect. They enjoy those treats and I have to buy multiple bags to make sure it's fair between the dogs. The smell is great and not annoying to anyone in the house and have fun feeding the dogs. They available in our city at 3 different locations. They make all of these products easy to find and buy in these stores. We always go to PetSmart for their food and treats which are located close to each. There is Chicken Liver and Chicken as the key in the production of Little-Jacs. We looked around to be sure it was a healthy product for our dogs and the salesperson said it was one of the best for dogs. Little-Jacs are small dog training treats which are ideal for smaller dog's mouths and dogs find it delicious like their other training treats. They seem to be great too as the dogs eat them up quickly from each other.

Very cost worthy for a great product. Dogs loved the soft moist treats. They just couldn't get enough of them. I recommend it to everyone trying to get a new treat for their animals. It was available at Walmart and local branch stores. With a variety of different treats, different sizes and very cost efficient. Very easy to find with their one of kind logo. Very good selection of ingredients. Dogs loved all ingredients in their treats and comes in a variety of different flavors which were perfect for my pets. Very satisfied with the product I purchased. Great treat for my pets and very great price also. Will most definitely buy again. And the quality of the product was excellent.

Prefer to purchase treats that my dog enjoys and get value for what I'm purchasing. I've also done research on this and taken recommendations from others. I've been able to locate this product at many retail stores in my area and even out of the area when I've been out of town. In addition able to locate them on online sites as well. I don't like treats or food that have a lot of fillers in it. My dog is almost nine years old and I try to buy food that supports healthy living for her. I've been satisfied with these treats so far. They have been a good value for the price. They support my dogs general health and are Available at most retailers.

Much more reasonably priced than some of the more boutique brands. Traditional ingredients and flavors. Dogs enjoyed them and wanted more. Bilks in general seems much harder to find. Was my food of choice 10 years ago but seems to have been overtaken by blue dog, mother Hubbard and other specialty brands. Ingredients you can read and understand. Seems to be a family-run business that takes pride in making healthy per treats with "real ingredients". My dogs like everything so hard to judge if any tastier than others, but definitely woofed the treats down and wanted more. As good as more expensive brands.
