This is the most awesome insurance for horses or dogs. I have both and they have taken great care of my pets. I have used for preventive care and emergency and it was great for both. They reimbursed me within a week and that helped too.

I’m pleased with ASPCA Pet insurance as are many of my clients- I am a pet hospital manager & recommend ASPCA to many clients. I would like to see a higher annual maximum available as well as discounts on premiums for veterinary employees as most of my services through the hospital are very inexpensive.
I’ve had this coverage for my cats and dogs for the past 7 years. They’ve always come through for me when I needed it most. Sure, I’ve only used it a handful of times, but feel comfortable that it will continue to make my life easier as my fur babies head into their golden years.
Claim submission process was straightforward and easy, although the app on my phone didn't show all the options the computer did around each claim being tied to prior issue or claim. Status is claim tracked along the way and updates provided when status changed including an email that the claim was completed so all great.
I am very happy with my pet's insurance. I have talked to customer service several times and they were all very helpful and knowledgeable. The App is easy to use. I feel so at ease that my pets are taken care of.
I have paid for this insurance for my cat and dog for the past 10 years. My cat recently needed care for the first time with a $5431 bill. This insurance only covered a fraction of the cost because they only pay "reasonable and customary fees". They won't pay the full cost of charges by the vet. My dog just past 11 years only and they doubled my monthly premiums due to this age. We have never used this insurance for him. They are not telling you the entire truth.

ASPCA is well worth the investment, especially if you couple it with reasonably priced vet services. While their prices have gone up, it’s peace of mind in coverage for your pets that count. It makes the cost worthwhile if, in the event, you have to make serious life or death decisions for your animal. Insurance provides you with the ability to make decisions you might not otherwise be able to make. In other words, knowing your insurance will pick up the cost allows you to go forward with services you might not otherwise get.

I will be cancelling my policy with this dishonest company. I have a 5 year old Neapolitan mastiff who has been a very healthy dog his entire life. He has been insured by ASPCA pet insurance since February 2020. I have only ever submitted 3 very small claims back in 2020 which combined, were just over $500. Nothing since. I was not at all happy to have waited for weeks for those claims to be approved and reimbursed. My premiums are paid on time every month but they dragged their heels on a few very small claims. Imagine how long the wait would be if we had a serious issue.
Now comes my big issue with this sleazy company. My premiums have of course gone up each year, which I would expect. This year however, the increase was a whopping 78%! It jumped from $150.96 to $267.43. This is an increase of $116.22! When I asked why, they said it's due to my dog's age. So if just 12 months warrants this ridiculous jump in cost, why are companies that a rated higher than this one giving me considerably lower premiums for the same coverage? True story and pure **. Bye bye ASPCA.

Great customer service. My representative was extremely professional and provided me with awesome customer service. She was very professional and courteous. She helped me get my 3rd horse added to the policy. I thought my 3rd horse was already on the policy when he was not. I would recommend this pet insurance to anyone who is shopping for it. My horse recently acquired a bone chip that unfortunately became devitalized and turned into a sequestrum. Straightforward injury/accident, right? Wrong, apparently. My claim for radiographs (i.e. diagnostics for the injury) and antibiotics (i.e. treatment for the injury) was denied. Absolutely garbage customer service. At this point I am questioning the point of even having insurance.
No problem at all. Timely. Accurate. No argument or disagreement. With them for 6 years. Should have had this insurance with my other girls. Have told other pet owners about this insurance. Will have no problem in the future to renew again.

This is one of those rare instances where what you pay for is what you can expect. I've never had to fight with anyone or question what is covered and my claims are processed in a timely manner. I only wish my own human insurance was as easy.

ASPCA was very fast on my claim. My lil guy had to have 2 tumors removed and was a big cost but with my plan I was able to get a lil more than half my money back for surgery. I just added our new puppy to our plan and that was a nice discounted rate! So definitely recommend them for pet insurance!

The customer service representative did a great job of explaining what the insurance plan I went with covered and what it didn't. There were some details about the particular plan I chose that I wasn't aware of. With the thorough explanation from the representative I spoke with, I went ahead and changed my newest insurance plan, that I just recently picked up.

The site is hard to use. It is hard to get through to customer service and the insurance is very expensive compared to what you get back. Will use another insurance for next pet. The online site does not always take the information and or the pictures of the medical record.

I am mostly happy with your service. A few things are a bit frustrating though. When I signed up, it said payment was usually processed within 3 days. I have waited between 10 days and 5 weeks. Also, I'm pretty upset that you don't reimburse for prescription dog food. I thought when I read that prescriptions are covered that food would be included. Aside from those concerns I am satisfied. Even though it is kind of expensive I don’t mind paying, but since apparently they don’t have the right payment info they keep sending me stuff saying I haven’t paid. I can’t fix it without calling and I’m third shift so it is annoying to constantly get mail and emails saying I don’t pay, not to mention having to put in my stuff every time.

Wonderful, quick and easy to submit a claim! The online process was so easy and quick. Took minutes to do!! It's the best pet insurance I've found around.
