    I am writing this on behalf of my husband. He tried ordering through FTD for our 49th wedding anniversary as a surprise. They waited until the end of the day to tell him they couldn’t find anyone to fill the order. He had already paid and had to go through the aggravation of getting a refund.

    I would recommend others to use FTD if you need to deliver flowers anywhere. I went online to make an arrangement of long stem red roses. The website was easy to use. I sent the flowers to my wife, where she works. Everything was just as described and as it should. Beautiful roses packaged well, came with a vase. They lasted for two and a half weeks before dying. They were exceptional roses for me. Also, they're affordable. My experience was great.

    I ordered sympathy flowers a week in advance for the celebration of life for a family member. They never delivered them and didn’t tell me so I couldn’t even use another service. Will never use them again!

    We ordered a Warmest Thoughts Tabletop Basket Deluxe for a recent funeral. It consisted of a basket with pink and white roses and lilies. It should have been beautiful. We finally located a vase of purple flowers in a clear vase at the funeral with our name on it. It was quite an embarrassment. The substitution was not even close to what we had ordered.

    I've been a loyal FTD customer for years because their bouquets have consistently been more beautiful than those offered by other flower delivery services. While they're definitely on the expensive side, I was always willing to pay the premium because they frequently offer coupons and promo codes, and the arrangements were usually worth it. Unfortunately, after my Mother's Day experience this year, I'll never order from FTD again. I placed an order for my mother-in-law a full week before Mother's Day to ensure it would arrive on time. The Thursday before Mother's Day, I received an email stating that they could not fulfill my original order and would need to substitute it with an item from another collection. The email instructed me to call and confirm the change.

    I responded to the email and went back and forth with customer service to confirm the substitution. I also called, as instructed. During that call, the representative told me there was actually nothing wrong with my order and that it would be delivered as originally scheduled. The very next day, I received another email informing me that my order had been canceled because I had not confirmed the substitution—despite having email documentation and a phone call proving that I had done exactly what they asked. This was now Friday, just two days before Mother's Day. I immediately contacted customer service to explain the situation. Rather than acknowledging their mistake, I was told there was nothing they could do because it was too close to Mother's Day. When I pointed out that the issue was caused by FTD, not me, they suggested I place a new order—but it wouldn't arrive until Monday, the day after Mother's Day.

    To make matters worse, they initially refused to honor the discount I had received on my original order and expected me to pay full price. After a lengthy back-and-forth, I finally convinced them to match the original discount, and I thought the issue had been resolved. It wasn't. Monday came and went with no delivery. I called again on Tuesday and was assured the flowers would arrive that day. They didn't. By Wednesday—three days after Mother's Day—the order still had not been fulfilled. At that point, I called and canceled the order entirely.

    What disappointed me most wasn't just the failure to deliver the flowers. Mistakes happen. It was the complete lack of accountability and customer care. No effort was made to make things right. No complimentary arrangement, no meaningful discount, no apology beyond scripted responses—nothing. This was easily the worst customer service experience I've ever had. It's especially disappointing because I've trusted FTD for years and used them for countless occasions. One terrible experience completely erased the goodwill they had built with me, and I won't be ordering from them again.

    FTD was great. The only trouble I had is, I went on to 1-800-Flowers, I put an order in on their website, and it came up FTD. I don't understand that. I phoned 1-800-Flowers, wanting to know where my order was, and the rep said, “We've not got your order.” I said, “Well, wait a minute. Why did I order these flowers from you on your website and then it's not on your order?” I told them what it said on the transaction. They said, "No. That's FTD.” So, that was confusing. I didn’t even know I was ordering from them, but the flowers arrived. The flowers were great. They arrived on the same day that I ordered them for. I chose an exclusive arrangement. It's the biggest one they had, so it cost me a little bit more money. It was in a nice vase. It was pretty. It was good quality. I liked it. I went with what more my sister would like in her colors. She said she loved it.

    Ordered flowers for delivery. Beware: they no longer route their orders to a local florist. They throw them in a box and send them via UPS with no ability to cool them. They arrive three days later looking as you would expect. Wilted, crushed etc. and they charged a premium price for it. They offered a paltry 20 dollar refund on a 120 dollar order. Do not do business with this company, notice the trend in the reviews. This is not the FTD of the past. Buyer beware

    I've used FTD for decades, so I trust they'll deliver things. Recently, I ordered mainly white floral arrangement for a funeral. I was there when it was delivered. I saw it in person. It was a little bit wilted but it's hot. So, things happen. I filled out a survey right afterwards and mentioned that it was a little wilted. Also, there was a surprise on it. There was a pink balloon that said, "Thinking of you." It wasn't planned to go on a memorial bouquet like that. Everybody was so busy running around and talking. I don't think anybody was noticing or offended, or weirded out by it. It was okay. The person who passed away was a lady, so it was appropriate for pink. I just never saw that on a typical bouquet before. One thing that I did like is the wordings on the sympathy card was the way I typed it.

    The birthday flowers I ordered for my wife arrived on the day promised but the quality was very poor. Many of the flowers were past their prime, dying and looked bad.     I ordered flowers to be delivered ON Mother's Day or the DAY BEFORE. They did not deliver on Mother's Day. I emailed customer service the day after Mother's Day saying I would like a refund or a delay in delivery as my mother would be out of town the following week and they COULD NOT be delivered then; they said they would respond. And they delivered it a week late - after the date I said was too late. I emailed again customer service, and they only refunded me 20%. Horrible experience. Will not order again.

    I ordered a $75.00 birthday flower arrangement on May 7 2026 to be delivered May 15, 2026. Flowers were not delivered and there was no communication whatsoever. I called FTD on the 16th and was told that the selected florist didn't have the arrangement and that they would select a new florist and deliver the flowers on the 18th and reduce the price by $11.00. The flowers were not delivered, nor was there any communication from FTD. I called again today (19th) and they told me that the NEW selected florist didn't have the arrangement and that they would select a new florist and deliver the flowers on the 19th and would reduce the price by 30%. I cancelled the order. The point of ordering flowers to be delivered by a certain date is to get the flowers on the promised date! Never again would I use FTD.

    Sent a live orchid plant to a friend for her new job and was disappointed. It arrived on time but was broken and definitely not how it was described online. It said the plant was 14” to 16” tall but it was much smaller. With the ceramic pot and broken flower it barely reached 12” (it may have been taller if not broken but doubtful). Use a local florist with good reviews if at all possible.

    This was my first experience with FTD and I was hopeful that their many decades in the floral business would guarantee a great arrangement. What I ordered was a beautiful large arrangement with a marble vase to ensure the arrangement would honor the grandmother’s life. What was sent is an embarrassing 6 or 8 tulips for $125. I understand the local florist is responsible for recreating the arrangement in the picture (depending on their stock), but clearly they have no problem embarrassing a customer at a public gathering by sending 6 tulips in a case. Please see the pictures below. I will never use FTD again and I hope there is some account in the part of the florist.

    I ordered flowers for Mother's day and the flowers were supposed to be delivered between 5/7 to 5/10 (Mother's day). FTD missed the delivery so I reached out to them. They responded with this boilerplate wording and gave me a new delivery date. When the new delivery date did not deliver my flowers, they gave me another delivery date. I went through this 4 times with them, and the last delivery date they gave me was 5/19. This is unacceptable. These were supposed to be delivered by Mother's Day, and they think delivering the Mother's Day gift over 9 days late is acceptable? Ridiculous. I finally asked for a refund in full amount. FTD had the worst customer service, and now my Mother's Day gift ruined my surprise for my mom. I will NEVER EVER order from them again!!

We now have to wait 3 more days!!! Unacceptable! I hope corporate reads this review. They offered a 50% refund. That's not even enough. I will NEVER order from FDT again. How disappointing!

    I ordered the Be Happy arrangement expecting a sunflower. The delivered arrangement had boring daisies and a couple of white roses. Even the greenery was bland. FTD definitely misrepresented the look of this. Disappointed for sure. I don't write review but this one really got my goat.
