Lemonade Car Insurance cost
Lemonade car insurance plans start at $30 a month. You can request a customized quote online or through the Lemonade app. Depending on where you live, you’ll either get a fixed monthly price or pay per mile coverage. Be prepared to enter information like your car’s year, make and model, as well as your average yearly mileage, to get an accurate price quote.
If you sign up for a Lemonade car insurance policy, you’ll need to download the Lemonade app and enable location services. I’ve only had Lemonade for a couple years now, but it’s been very consistent and the service level has not changed. As I’ve had to make changes to my policy over time, it’s been super easy and transparent in terms of how to use whatever new service I need. For example, I didn’t initially think about adding tow service on my policy. My car broke down, and a family friend did us a favor and towed my car at no cost when it; To be safe, I added tow coverage to my policy that same day, and it was ready to use by midnight. I ended up with a flat tire maybe less than a week after adding it and was able to use the tow coverage.
The tow company was fast, kind, and the app made it VERY clear when and who would be arriving to help, with an interactive map for piece of mind. No extra costs outside of my monthly bill, which was NOT a lot extra to pay. I appreciate the cost - it works for me, since I don’t drive a lot. The coverages are amazing. I don’t feel like I have to stress if making a claim.

I use them for Renter's Insurance and Car Insurance. They bought Metromile, so I have their car insurance in NJ. They have kept the prices low, and calling a tow truck from the app was a painless experience. I have not had to use the renter's insurance, so I don't know what the experience will be like with that. I do wish the app would stay logged in though. Most of the time when I open it, I have to close it and open it again to get to a login screen, but it will have logged me out. I appreciate the car locator feature a lot.

Having been a happy Lemonade customer for renters' insurance for quite some time, I was already familiar with their incredibly affordable rates and hassle-free service. When I saw they started offering car insurance, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm genuinely thrilled that I did! Lemonade's car insurance experience is everything I could ask for. Their app and website are both exceptionally well-designed and intuitive, making it incredibly easy to manage my policy and handle most tasks digitally. Lemonade provided a fast and efficient claims experience for me. Their app was super easy to submit the claim and associated documentation. Their service representative reached out immediately, was polite and professional. They handled the whole process smoothly, coordinating with the repair shop, car rental company etc. I was very pleased with the whole experience and would highly recommend them.

I've been really happy with Lemonade Insurance since they took over Metromile. The claims are responded to rapidly and by a friendly, knowledgeable staff that makes me feel very taken care of. Their rates are great too!

It went smoothly. Yolanda ** and her team were very helpful, professional and friendly. The communication speed is good. The adjustor's response speed is good. The payment speed is good, so the shop can start working on the vehicle as soon as possible.

Hi, the no/charge roadside assistance was quick, easy and the roadside assistance help arrived in about 15 minutes after I texted inside the app! I couldn't believe the convenience compared to my dealership who charges because my car is outside the warranty period! Thanks Lemonade Insurance. You are a home run type of company!

Terrible customer service. I was hit by one of their customers and it's a nightmare trying to get the car fixed and a rental car. It is days before hearing back from emails. The check was somehow sent to an incorrect address and took a month to find out why. You get what you pay for and this company must be the cheapest insurance option available because they have the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
