Frank and Curtis very professional, knowledgeable and very good explaining the system. Both on time and friendly. Curtis showed us how to use system and app. Curtis explained everything very well with also showing us how to use with demo with app and system.

I have POA for my sister and I handle all her needs. The alarm was beeping and indicated there is a low battery issue. When I spoke with Brian, very polite, very professional, he indicated a service technician would be at the house on Monday, January 19th between 10:00am and 2:00pm. I inquired if we could get an earlier appointment but he stated he had none at the time but responded by saying if there is a cancelation, he will attempt to re-schedule. I feel that a 2 week wait for a 25 year customer should be given a bit of priority. No issues at all with Brian, he's just doing his job but corporate needs to take a better approach to long established customers. TYTY & SS

I have been trying for over 3 weeks to get my security system fixed. First they came out after I told him it was a camera. Technician did not have camera, said that someone would get a hold of me, no one did. Called them back, found out the camera is discontinued, said they were going to have to order new ones. A week later, no response. I'm trying to explain to them this is a security system, I have it coz I need it. I called today, they put me on hold and then the call was terminated. I've just about had enough. I would never buy from this company ever again

After my mom and dad passed away and I tried to cancel Vector monthly plan they had, the representative told me if I didn’t pay they would send it to a collection agency, I had to finally do all this paper work to get it canceled and would never refer anyone use this service!!!

Glenn ** is an excellent technician who came to resolve multiple security warnings of low batteries. He replaced most of the batteries with ones he had with him. He then reached out to another technician to obtain additional batteries to complete the job. Since all the batteries were at the end of their life, we are grateful to Glen for making the effort to successfully complete the job today. Thank you, Glenn!

Nick is a true professional! He originally installed the alarm and cameras at my home a few years ago. He’s now installing an alarm system and cameras at my Man cave today. Nick was on time and explained everything he was doing. His work was clean and professional! He deserves 5 stars across the board!

Extremely poor communication and customer service. I've never had to deal with a company this bad. Our motion detector has been having issues for 2 months. It constantly gives us false alarms in the middle of the night, our owners get phone calls, and the cops come to investigate. This must have happened a dozen times now. It's their call center that's terrible. I called once and they said for them to come out and even look at the issue it would be $220 for half an hour, then $101 after that.
Then the 2nd time I called, they said they could actually look at it for $35 and if it's an issue with the system that's not our fault, they wouldn't charge for fixing it. I called back with another question and this time the person answering said we didn't even have a service contract and it would be $220. They were adamant we didn't have a service contract. The 4th time I called, they said that was wrong, we do have a service contract. We then had someone scheduled to come look at the motion detector.
We get a phone call from their call center confirming the appointment and they say it's to replace batteries. I remind them we're doing this to look a the motion detector which has been giving false alarms. They say got it and that they will let the technician know. The technician gets here a week early but isn't even prepared to look a the motion detector. Doesn't have a ladder. He did not get the information that this was for the motion detector. He even admits that it's a mess at the office at Vector Security and there's been a bunch of communication issues lately. So he says he will get Vector Security to send someone back out to replace the motion detector.
A couple of days later, I email Vector Security tech support to confirm we are getting the motion detector replaced. They say we have an appointment about a week out. This is the appointment that previously scheduled, but they came a week early for. Of course, they don't confirm that this is for replacing the motion detector; they just say we have an appointment. I should have realized I need to confirm every little detail because they don't do it themselves. Of course, no service technician even showed and there was no communication as to why. The motion detector went off last night and the night before. This is still an ongoing issue with no resolution.

Nick originally installed my old ADT system years ago and he done a good job and he done a superb job upgrading that old system and switching me over to Vector Security! Nick is professional and very patient in answering all my questions and making sure I understood how to operate the new system! Nick is awesome and a true asset to Vector Security!

Y'all make it real difficult to login the account from the website. You cannot access the option on the website because you have it covered by "text us". I just want to pay my bill!! Fix it. There has to be a more simpler way to access your account online. I don't want to call to speak with someone. I want to pay online in peace.

Brian was the best. He helped me get my system up and back in working order. He listened to my concerns and was patient with me. After I explained the problem he knew the answer right away and helped solve it. Give this gentleman a raise for his customer service skills.

Walter showed great patience in leading me through the steps to figure out why one of our house's motion detectors had been triggered despite the fact that there was no evidence of a break-in nor no low battery message on the keypad. It took a while, partly because our motion detector was an early model, but Walter succeeded in locating the problem - low batteries after all.

• Move the service to the new house and be locked into a brand-new 3-year contract.
No reasonable middle ground. No senior consideration. No flexibility at all. In my opinion, this is predatory and unethical, especially toward elderly customers who are simply trying to downsize and live within their means. Vector is fully aware they’re dealing with people on a fixed income and still chooses to trap them in either a large fee or another long-term contract they don’t want and didn’t ask for.
We asked about alternatives:• Could we transfer the remaining year to someone else?
• Could we downgrade to a cheaper plan for the last year?
• Could they reduce the fee given the circumstances?
Every answer was basically no. The message was clear: pay up or sign another long contract. This experience has completely destroyed any trust we had in Vector. If you’re considering them—especially for aging parents or grandparents—ask very direct questions about what happens if they move or their situation changes. Based on how my in-laws have been treated, I would strongly recommend avoiding Vector Security and choosing a company that doesn’t exploit loyal, elderly customers with rigid, one-sided contract traps.

Our alarm was having a problem and kept beeping. I called and got Chad on the phone. He walked me through resetting it and his attitude in helping me reset the system was fabulous. His instructions and patience really were first rate. I couldn’t wait for a service tech to come out as my 5 year old grandson has autism and would have had tremendous issues if the alarm kept beeping. With Chad's guidance I was able to get everything working. This took place in the middle of the night right before Thanksgiving. Thank you so much Chad. Best, Alan

After spending hours and hours with customer service in the phone. They cancelled my service but continue to bill me for it. Contract was also supposed to be $55/month is I signed a 5 year agreement and they’ve raised the price with no notification. Their supervisor was supposed to contact me and never did so I’m being billed for a service I don’t have and don’t want. Do not sign with them.

Nick installed my alarm system 4yrs ago. He was professional and courteous then and Nick is still that same way now! I had upgraded my ISP and WiFi info changed. Nick was patient with me and worked to answer all my questions. I’m 87yrs old and Nick was very patient with me and made sure everything worked properly as it should! I’m grateful for Nick’s help and for Vector Security as well and I’m happy with my cameras and alarm system.

Nick done a great job servicing my alarm system today. He checked my batteries to my smoke detector and he changed all batteries in any wireless devices tied to the alarm system. Nick was friendly and professional and had a great attitude with us. Nick was great to work with in getting everything taken care of.

The technicians, Nick and Craig, done a great job in installing my alarm system and all my cameras for my new business. I have Vector at 2 other locations so I am familiar with the alarm system and camera setup. The technicians were clean with their work and professional and made sure I understood everything and answered all my questions.

Have had my security system at this house since the fall of 2003. Have been calling with an issue since June 18, 2025, and then I’ve called back many times in between every single month people put me on hold. Tell me they’ll call me back said they’ll schedule an appointment. Don’t call me back and issue still has not been fixed and I’m getting tired of having to call Vector to try to get it fixed and nobody to call me back. It’s great that everyone takes my money for a service that they can’t even provide for Me. Today is 11/9/2025 and we also have five houses total on Vector systems which I’m looking to possibly move because I see the service is going downhill.

Several times we have had the tech come out and say our sky cam door bell is defective and we never get another one. Very disappointing and we don't want to pay yet again to get another tech to say the same thing.

I have been using your company for many, many years through all the name changes and owner changes. I was disappointed when you removed support for my cameras. They are sitting there working but can't send events. Your price to replace seemed quite high. At 82 I am not sure I want to spend that much even though it would be a better service with sound, etc. Any financial breaks available??

I’ve known Nick for a few years and he’s an awesome young man and wonderful person! Nick done a great job upgrading our 20 plus year old alarm system which was greatly needed. The new system and new cameras are superb and right on time! Nick was patient in explaining how the new system and App worked too. I cancelled my account after 10+ years because your service was so abominable - impossibly long wait times on the phone, no returned calls, not addressing my concerns. You used to have a reliable company and service, but not any longer. One example - when I called to cancel, no one wanted to interview me for a reason.

My sister recommended Vector. I have been very pleased with the service. My only problem has been that I cannot raise my bedroom window any longer. That concerns me, if there was a fire. Scotty ** has been very good to work with. He has been very prompt in responding to my concerns. Once the door and magnet were not meeting. He called a knowledgeable repairman to come.

Vector Security has been good until my latest issue. I sent in a service request on October 19th. I received a call on October 20th that someone would be calling me to set up an appointment. I did not receive a call until October 23 scheduling an appointment for October 30th. I was not able to arm my system for 2 weeks due to the large number of windows and doors reporting malfunction. When the Titan Protective Services technician arrived he only replaced the batteries reporting a malfunction. Two days later I receive an automated call that another window battery was low. I will now have to send in another request and take time off from work to wait for a technician.

It's funny that Vector should send me a article about a outdated System. I called to inform Vector that my keypad has a message stating that the battery needs to be replaced. I have yet to hear from Vector about a battery or even replacing the whole keypad.

Nick showed up on time to my home. Nick done an excellent job installing and updating my current alarm system. He explained everything on how to operate the Vector App and how to operate the new panel. The new system operates great and I’m happy with Nick’s service overall!

After experiencing a minor problem with my system, and a few phone calls, Vector came and repaired the problem, and all is back on track. The repair was done quickly by an experienced repair person with no inconvenience to me, very pleased with the results.

NOT SO GOOD!! I have a glitch in my system; my main screen says I have 8 alerts, and I have been told I need a battery in the system. I am paying the premium, and parts are covered, although I have been informed I have to pay a service charge. I have called on these alerts and been told they are on back order. Weeks later, I call to get an update and am told all is fine on their end (still have alerts on systems). I have tried to call Ken with Vector with no reply from him. I have asked for adjustments on billing if they can't get it fixed with NO REPLY. If this doesn't get resolved SOON, I am out of here and going to Vivint Home Security very quickly. I need a system that will service their equipment and not give you a run around!!

Curtis was very efficient in his job. The job site was left clean and neat. As he moved through the residence he was confident and conscience. His explanations of the operation was clear and concise.
