We chose Vector because my sister and mom have their system. We are very happy with our new system. Vinh was awesome in getting us set up. The installation was great! Steve was very nice and made sure we understand everything and everything was working right when they left. I would definitely recommend vector to a friend!

My experience with Vector Security has been wonderful. The tech came out to add a keychain remote to my system. He was very helpful. He inspected the whole system and showed me how to use the app on my cell phone. The people that I have talked to on the phone have always been very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend Vector to anyone! Thank you!

I have been on the fence about getting my system upgraded but thankfully I'm glad that I did. I've been a customer for a few years or more never had any problems with Vector Security. When I call about an issue they always handle it with care. I'm also happy to let you know that the tech did a great job with helping me get familiar with my new system. I chose to stay with Vector Security because this was the company that my Mom had. Now that I have taken over the property I feel it is just best to leave it the way it was. Your customer care department helped me with getting everything set up. I was happy with how things turned out. Clifton was very kind and helpful in getting things up and running although I wasn't able to stay for the installation. I just a good feeling that Clifton would do what needed to be done. Incredibly unprofessional to renew contract and when trying to cancel just to be told “You are locked into a contract”. Will never recommend Vector to anyone... EVER. All neighbors will be notified of my discoveries and I will convince all to switch from this awful company.

I had very little time to supply my insurance company with the proper paperwork needed to complete my homeowners insurance application. Received a copy of my certificate quickly so I had no problem getting my insurance discount. Thank You.

I was turned over to collections after paying a final bill (3517 Blaze Drive). I have the cancelled check. I saved the email that I sent to Ms. ** when I did not receive a final bill in the mail as I had requested. This is insult to injury as I had to go through the Vector technical department to get someone to speak to me about ending service and getting a final statement. My account was auto deduct. I called the number listed in the White pages and was told the company had been sold to another security company and they did not have access to my account information. They provided a 1-800 number which went straight to a recording.
I entered the prompt, but voicemail could not be left. So after begging for the technical support team to get me to someone re: ending service and getting a final bill, I spoke with Ms. **. Still no bill received so I emailed her requesting a final statement. I did the right thing even though your company did not make it easy… In fact they made it hard. You need to do the right thing and send me a letter of apology and correction!

We have used Vector for the past 13 years and the prior homeowners used them before us.. We have been very satisfied with service. When it came time to upgraded they were my first choice and they did not disappoint. The technician was very professional and stayed until the job was completed. He made sure I was able to use the new system and made sure all my questions were answered.

The staff was very pleasing. Like having Bob as a technician for our Credit Union. Very knowledgeable and friendly! I've had the Vector Security system for a while. I've had many instances where the Alarm has gone off and not once have I received a call from the Co. Basically I'm paying for a box on the wall. Sad.

Service tech Bob at house today to diagnose a problem with our alarm system. He quickly identified the problem, was able to correct the issue and provide information regarding the operation of system. He cleaned up the panel area for us to make it more accessible. Replaced a non-functioning keypad. Bob very easy to work with and always friendly and quick to answer calls.

Have had problems with video doorbell. Good first year and a half. Then quit responding. Gentleman came, got it working and then it quit. Had new one installed, worked about 6 to 8 weeks. And quit. Another new one installed. I was told needed to have a new transformer but I had to get electrician because they can’t touch it. Now I have no doorbell or camera. Strange electrical devices but no electrical installers.

Bob from Vector was very professional. Kind and humorous. He taught us so many things about the camera system we have. He’s very knowledgeable about the system also. I had a guy go door to door in my subdivision (which has a no solicited sign) talk me into getting Vector. Signed a 2-year contract cancel anytime after 2 years he said. I got into some hardship and called to see if I could cancel. Lady said she couldn’t cancel because I had standing balance that need to be paid off first. She said she could pause the account which I obliged. Long story short I waited till I had the payoff about 4 months later to find out that I was supposed to verify by email on the pause payment. Since I didn’t reply they keep charging my bill. So now I went from being behind 2 payments, to now being behind like 6. So I after finding this out I asked to speak to a supervisor and the way this lady belittled me was not ok.
I explained to the lady that I called and I paused it and she was the one who told me about the email verification. (The other girl who was super nice might have told me but I couldn’t remember if she did ). When telling her I wasn’t aware of my payments continuing and I just want to pay what I owe before I called the first time (2 missed payments). This damn Satan wife of the security club told me that I had to pay remaining balance which was around 6 payments. Little did I know when trying to cancel I found out that after contract it automatically renews you for another full year. So I said, “Even though I don’t want the service no more, I’m still obligated to pay the full year?"
This rug stain said, “It was right there in black and white, didn’t you read the contract?“ I said, “Ma’am, I don’t read well and I’m going off what the guy said. I just want to pay my missed payments and cancel." Doodoo on the shoe said, “Sir you didn’t follow up on email after calling and didn’t read your contract, so what do you want me to do?“ I said, “I want you to cancel my order, take my 2 payments that I agreed to pay and let me go.“ Ole funky monkey said same thing then apologized to say she might be able to take 20% off or something. By this time I mad because I felt like this was bad business. I agreed on a 2-year equipment and monitoring and not an endless contract that keep renewing itself yearly.
So I told her "Fine, piss off and I will pay your ** balance." Hungry hippo was wanting full payment and again I told her I was in a financial situation and I couldn’t pay. I need food more than I need the balance paid. Megadeath insisted she could accept nothing no less. So I told her again how this was bad business and I would pay the best way I could and hung up.
So don’t ever go by what the salesman says and if you're not a lawyer like me and don’t understand contract writing riddles then don’t sign with this company. I’m still in a financial situation right now but if I ever decide to get an alarm system it will definitely not be with Vector Security. RING will be my next choice! I would also like to add the service itself wasn’t bad. Couple times my alarm went off and they did call with a fast response and handled it well. The salesman was nice, the other girl was nice who tried to help me and I would have went back with Vector again until I encountered the megabeast. I’m not a bad person and I often do reviews (if I do it’s normally to praise the staff, kinda like Vector staff was great) it was this one sinkhole that made me so mad I wanted to rip my monitor off the wall just so I wouldn’t be reminded that I made the mistake of joining Vector.

I was having trouble with my old doorbell camera and I called. They sent me a service technician and he did recommend for me to get a new and better one. I have to say it is, my wife and I are both very pleased. Your tech Clifton was very thorough. He noticed that the other cameras were not working but explained to me what was going on but I just didn’t have the time for him to start working on them. I had to go to work. My router was charged as he explained. That’s why the cameras were not working properly but I’m sure that together we’ll get it fixed.
