I have a small company and I brag about my Shark tools to each one. My Shark Stratos has been with issues one year almost exact. It begins to make a horrible squeaking sound that is unbearable. I have already replaced it twice. When the third one did the same thing I called to get it repaired or replaced. I was told by the rep that it was not going to be replaced or repaired because I used it in my client's home. And it was only meant for "household" use. I expressed that I do not use it commercially. He was not concerned and unwilling to assist. Sad to say that I will no longer purchase another Shark tool. Ever. I also have a total of 7 other shark items. I'm highly disappointed that I can not use the same tools that I brag on to my clients.. I have shown pics if email communications with rep they are to show that my vacuum is still in new status and well cared for with no clogs.

If there were ZERO stars, I would select that. I have purchased 5 Shark vacuums in the past 4 years. My fiancé raves about their suction power. And while their suction power is good, it is only a good thing IF the vacuum works and operates. On average, I will spend the majority of my time FIXING the vacuum rather than actually vacuuming. And this is EVERY time I use it. I cannot remember a time, other than the VERY FIRST time using them, that I haven't had to spend time FIXING their vacuum. If I have a 15 minute vacuum job, it can take me weeks to find the 60-90 minutes I need to do a 15 minute vacuum job. I know now that there is no such thing as a quick vacuum with SHARK. Instead, you vacuum for five minutes, spend 20 minutes fixing it, vacuum another 5 minutes, spend another 20 minutes fixing it, and so on. These are the worst vacuums I have ever used and I will NEVER, EVER waste my time and money on SHARK again!

I love my Shark Detect vacuum except for one thing. You would think Shark could spend just a little more money to put a cord on it that’s flexible. The one that comes with it is almost as stiff as a wire and to wind it back up after use and hang it from the hook on the side is a real pain in the butt.

I ordered one part, the head and rotor for the cleaner. The order was processed timely however, the part arrived incomplete. The cover and the front rollers were missing. The product was sent without any consideration for protection (not in any original packaging). The part was packaged in a flimsy box at least twice the size required with two pieces of paper as packaging material. The part appeared dirty and not new.

I purchased the Shark Steam Pickup 3 in 1 corded steam vac and because it was a SHARK I thought the higher price was worth it. It will not stay on. I google and see this is a common issue. Given that why has Shark not recalled or fixed? Still unsure of Sharks quality I purchased a cheaper Shark Corded Steam Mop and guess what? It will not heat. I will go Bissell. I called customer service but unable to connect every single time....

First time buyer and now last time buyer. I purchased a ZD550 upright vacuum approximately a year ago, to replace an aged out Oreck vacuum, which was a good vacuum but I was intrigued with the removable canister aspect of dumping the debris after every use. To start with with the for being mostly plastic the unit is heavy and does operate the rotary brush while in certain positions, also the power cord is quite short and should be at least another 5 to 10 feet longer.
The canister needs top be emptied after doing one area and fills up too quickly, as we have 4 dogs so lots of pet hair, even vacuuming every day. The main brush area is not really accessible as there are many screws to have to be removed to allow access for cleaning out the brush area and view port, so I did not opt to remove that cover to try and clean it.
Recently one of the front wheels ejected and I could not find it, only the axle was found, so I went online to buy a new pair of consumable front wheels ---- just what they are not listed on the Shark website, nor is there any exploded views or part numbers to be found --- next step, called customer care only to find that the 1 year old vacuum was obsolete and they have no wheels, and he said you would have to buy a whole new motor base! I I then reminded him that the unit has a 5 year warranty if if the wheel ejected and they don't offer parts to fix such a simple issue, then they should supply me a new motor head. The customer service guy denied that and said I should look online for a wheel with no part number!!! I would strongly recommend NOT buyer anything from these people, as they have no support of their products.

Actually a decent product. But their customer service and support is a joke. If you need parts or accessories and they are out of stock they tell you 4 weeks and put you on the list. 4 weeks later you call and they are out of stock and will contact you by email in 4 weeks. This is for a simple thing like FILTERS and without filters the vacuums are worthless.

I have bought many Shark vacuums over the past couple of decades. I was always happy with them until this last one I bought. It makes a terrible noise and the dust bin has to be emptied so much!!! Their customer service is terrible. They strung me along and kept asking for more information and finally told me I had to pay to send it in for a replacement. That’s terrible customer service. Not to mention, they were going to give me a refurbished one in its place. I will be moving on and looking for a new brand. Customer service and backing their product is key to keeping people happy.

I had the best customer service experience I’ve ever had, and the representative was Gabrielle. I’m literally upset I can’t put a written review anywhere that will be directly seen by the company. I TALKED TO HER MANAGER deadass. And talked her up. Shark's warranty is apparently better than my home warranty because they won’t even call me back. Never talked to someone’s manager just to tell them how good of a job they were doing before but Gabrielle was literally 🔥
I had no receipt nothing I don't even know where it was purchased from (because my vacuum was a wedding gift). They didn’t care. The suction on my vacuum didn’t work, did a couple of tests to confirm that; model was discontinued, so they gave me a new model no questions asked. I had the LA555. They’re sending me a LU102. Had to cut the cord and write my name and date with the vacuum in the picture. Most painless experience I had, the rep Gabrielle was so patient, so kind, I would literally be this woman’s friend. Gabrielle if you see this you’re awesome. Anyway, I have no idea why the reviews are so low, can’t relate. Shark vacuums forever. I literally usually have the most painful experience possible when I have to call about product issue, or program, etc, but this was just phenomenal.

We bought a 546.00 vacuum through Amazon. The mop mechanism did not work, tech suggested I “swish” the canister with vinegar, then shove a needle in two holes, then she watched it still not work and said, “looks like it doesn’t work, send it back.” Then they charged me 250.00 to restock an item that didn’t work.

All I ever heard was how I had to get a Shark vacuum because they are the best vacuums out there. So I went to my local Walmart and purchased a brand new Shark Navigator Swivel Pro and took it home excited to give it a go. I must say I was very impressed vacuuming basic everyday type dirt from my carpet. I never vacuumed up any large messes whatsoever so I was extremely surprised when after 2 1/2 weeks of owning the Shark vacuum using it a grand total of maybe 5 to 6 times, it completely crapped out and stopped working altogether. I tried everything the website suggested I do with absolutely no luck. It is dead to the world and there is no bringing it back. Even though I purchased it at Walmart it still cost me $148 plus tax. That's a ton of money for only 5 to 6 uses. I will never purchase another Shark vacuum and I suggest that the people reading this review doesn't either. Huge waste of money!!!

I purchased the Shark Matrix 2 in 1 robot vacuum in Oct 2023. I loved this vacuum. It mopped and vacuumed and picked up a good amount of pet hair. Now it is having power issues after finally getting it reconnected in my home and it needs a replacement and the company warranty was for 1 year. This vacuum is about $400 give or take and to have so much trouble with the app connecting and now would have to pay out of pocket ~$200 for an obvious product failure is a bit extreme. I loved this vacuum and am devastated that I now have to find a new company and vacuum. I only use Shark because they have always been the best but this vacuum and situation makes me rethink that.

Purchased a hv301 vacuum during Prime days. Works nice except the LED lights in the lower brush assembly do not come on. My product is registered on the Shark site. I called the Warranty dept and they told me the lower brush unit is not covered. I told him it will it was faulty out of the box. There is nothing in the Warranty document about the lower brush assembly. Amazon gave me a credit for it and told me to keep it.

While I enjoy Shark vacuums while they work, the planned obsolescence and the impossibility of doing otherwise simple repairs like changing out a roller has made me decide to never buy another one. Cheating the consumer by forcing them to buy new machines rather than being able to repair the ones we have to extend the item's life is a terrible policy and basically, I believe it to be anti-American. It used to be that American-built meant something good, and now it means you're buying garbage that's designed to fail you. No more Sharks for me ever simply due to that company decision.

As other reviewers have explained, the company does everything they can to avoid honoring warranties and the products are both expensive and faulty. Our Ninja blender suddenly caught fire, our vacuum keeps breaking (see pic) and our hydrovac mop grew mold the first week—mold that NOTHING can keep at bay for long. As an example, the company refused to replace the mop because we tried to wipe out the mold and they said that voided the warranty!! Unbelievable.

We purchased the cordless Pro/ Pet Plus Clean Sense from Costco after doing some research and pre owning an older model Pet Shark for years and LOVING IT! We are disappointed with the battery length (doesn't last like advertised). Does not pick up Pet hair very good from rugs/ carpet. Thankfully I only have area rugs, while the rest of our home is ceramic tile & laminate flooring. The only thing I like with this vacuum is it has a light so you can see the debris on the floor when dark or poor lighting & the bendable stick which allows for easier access under furniture. Other than that I would never recommend this vacuum or purchase again. Do not buy this vacuum unless you only need a light job done, no Pet hair & have a very small space to clean as the battery will die before the job is done. Very disappointing!

I have tried numerous times to have customer service take care of issues with my Shark RV 1000 IQ robot vacuum. They have done everything they can to NOT take care of the issue. They have gone as far as asking for a video then ignored it all together and we have to start from scratch. Several times they have told me it is under warranty then refuse to get it fixed or send me a replacement. If I was looking for a robot vacuum, I would look elsewhere because even if they say they have a warranty they DON'T honor it.

I have been purchasing Shark vacuums for years and have always been happy. But July 2024 I purchased a new vacuum for our new home and in under 10 months I’ve had to call to have parts replaced, including the motor! The most recent broken part I called about I was told isn’t covered under the warranty, even though the vacuum isn’t even a year old. Being that the vacuum has broke 3x in under a year is crazy for the price that is charged for these vacuums. I have since started researching new vacuum brands because I can no longer use my vacuum that is not even a year old.

My name is Fredy **. I am not taking a dime for this review but I truly want to help people to know for about 15 years I own a Dyson dc24 and a dc40 and In my head they were the best vacuum ever, I was dusting 3 or 4 times per week, it took me many years to realize Dyson cyclones expelled dust back into the air and they don’t last long also is so hard to get help from customer service, this kids have no idea or they been trained to do that, in the meantime I own a Shark rotator profecional. All sealed, I didn’t use it thinking dyson was better but when my second dyson broke I was so struggling to get another looking into gen 5 detect absolute for 1000. Imagine. CRAZY.
But I got me new filters for my shark and use it and one can be brut or ignorant to compare this two machines and say dyson is good, shark is by far a better machine, the suction power on the shark is amazing super strong, the dust can’t scape or at least you don’t see it like in the Dyson vacuum, let’s face it. You must see the seals of the shark are some sort of plastic but not hard plastic like dyson. This shark seals need no replacement or fixing, the attachment are truly great, I can clean walls curtains, furniture at ease, it has 3 filters. One is Hepa.
I clean the carpet with my friend dyson since mine broke and then I use my shark and the amount of fine Dirt collected was substantial, also the noise is very low and to my surprise. At the handle you can increase suction power to the base, this machine is brutal, I really hate that people go and lie about dyson or other Brands? I will never ever get another vacuum and forget about dyson, anyone reading this don’t take my word but try this machines. You won’t be upset at all, pet owners asthma suffered this are your vacuums.

NO! NO! NO! NO MORE! So Shark has joined the rest of what used to be "The Best" companies to put out a reputable, strong quality product. I went to buy a vacuum 2 months ago & obviously I bought a Shark! Got it home, immediately used it & my mouth dropped open in surprise!! It was like a toy vacuum. I was laughing my ** off as to what this vacuum DIDN'T DO & sounded like it was about to explode! It was so loud & horrible sounding my neighbors made a joke about it! So I took it back, ended up spending more money to get yet another Shark vacuum. So I took the chance & I bought now the cordless stick Shark. Stupid me & I already was aware that a corded vacuum has way more powerful suction. Especially I have a dog & a cat. HAIR!! The thing only will suck if you pull the added lever & by that meaning your battery charge is greatly reduced time to get it all vacuumed if at all. Then there's a switch for carpet mode. Oh God, hahaha....
The vacuum just doesn't want to move on the carpet/rug so it now will not vacuum the 1 rug I do have in my huge house! I called SHARK, spoke to their Customer Service Department & I got some sarcastic guy telling me SharkNinja is not responsible for the Shark Vacuum I purchased! Due to I didn't buy it straight from SharkNinja - they consider that I bought it from a 3rd party & so therefore Shark has no responsibility now! I said to him....Wait! Shark made this thing, it's only 1 day old straight out of the box SHARKNINJA put it in & because I didn't buy it off Shark Website I'm to eat it?! He said the store I bought it at should be responsible! No! Shark made this thing! Not the store I bought it at! Anyways, I was over it all! Nothing is what anything used to be & "used to be" isn't that long ago. Okay, I got burnt & it's really just the norm these days. I only wrote this review on Shark Vacuums so someone else doesn't waste their money buying one.

I have bought a few Shark products including vacuums mops and air purifiers and yes they are on the pricey side but it’s been well worth it. Having older models that have broken down after 10 years I’m impressed. I’ve replaced 2 parts on it within the ten years but that’s why I went ahead and upgraded to a new model and I’m even more impressed with the tangle free brush because my home is hairapolis and would burn out the old brushes even with daily care and maintenance to the roll brush. Simply put my home is cleaner and healthy even with two dogs who refuse to go outside and living In the desert with all the sand storms!
