CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS NOTHING! DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORD! I have had the worst experience with Home Depot's customer service. I bought a dishwasher online and paid to have it installed by Home Depot. The dishwasher was installed incorrectly and had been leaking, unbeknownst to us, for a year! Black mold was in walls, behind cabinets, under our hardwood floors...

We were told by the restoration team that our house was unsafe to live in and to leave that day. A sign, "DANGER! MICROBIAL HAZARD! KEEP OUT! AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY! RESPIRATORS AND PROTECTIVE CLOTHING ARE REQUIRED IN THIS AREA!" was posted at our home. That same day I contacted Home Depot. Home Depot referred me to a company called Temco, who they said installed it. It was proven that the dishwasher was installed incorrectly. At first the insurance company said they were looking into it. Then I was told they had no mold coverage!

We did not live in our home for 9 months! I begged for help. The insurance companies would not pay for the damage they caused! They jerked my family around and are still jerking us around! It is now 5 years later. We filed a lawsuit, and at mediation (2 days ago - November 8, 2022) a lawyer, Michael **, stood on behalf of Home Depot and Temco. **, et al. v. HOME DEPOT, U.S.A., et al. ADRS Case No. 22-5458-BAB.

Again, we are still being given the runaround. Our expenses have not been paid! Home Depot DOES NOT take care of their customers! Is Home Depot's Corporate office aware of what is happening to their customers? Have you (HOME DEPOT) been in contact with the lawyer, Michael **, who is representing Home Depot and Temco? CUSTOMERS...GO ANYWHERE OTHER THAN HOME DEPOT FOR BUSINESS AND YOUR SANITY!

Unsatisfied Customer,

Dolores **

If only I could give a zero rating. If only I could give a zero rating. You are truly better off with Best Buy or some other companies that have their customers' best interest at heart. Sometime in October, 2022 I made a purchase of over $8,000 worth of items and one of those is a dishwasher. On their initial delivery, the dishwasher was really messed up that they had to returned it for a new one. Forward 10 days later they brought and installed the new one but refused to take the old one with them even though I paid for that extra service (even the service from the delivery & installation guys was really bad too). I called Home Depot and was told that I didn't purchase for that extra service for them to take the old dishwasher with. I was literally going back and forth with the sales person telling her that I purchased the service and that someone must have dropped the ball and forgot to include in my purchase.

I asked if there was someone else to speak with to which she said there is nothing that could be done except transfer me to the store that I purchased the appliances; then perhaps they may (not guaranteed) send someone to pick it up; mind you I spend all that money. The least she could have said was that someone must have forgotten to charge me or what have you for the service and that they will try to do it right. NOPE! I wish I could return everything I purchase but they don't accept returns. I just will NEVER EVER buy from Home Depot again. The only thing they care about is your money!!! Even the guys that delivered my purchase were rather unfriendly!! Date of experience: November 09, 2022.

I purchased a NEW Frigidaire side by side, freezer on the bottom newer model refrigerator from Home Depot. The delivery people destroyed my hard wood floor while installing the refrigerator. The refrigerator door would not close properly, the freezer developed severe frost and Home Depot gives 48 hours and then you are on your own. I have had service out 2x through Electrolux, the Frigidaire manufacturer repair company BUT their systems have been down for close to a week with the problem set to continue another few weeks. I purchased the refrigerator from Home Depot and despite numerous calls, they will not help me. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH HOME DEPOT AGAIN!!! EVER! They stand behind nothing!!! This refrigerator needs to be replaced - the 48 hour limit to protect Home Depot is ridiculous when spending close to $3,000!

My electric grill finally went out, after years of use. So, I finally thought, get a small propane grill. On August 31st 2022, I went to my local Home Depot, store #4713, and stood at customer service. With the representatives help, I and ordered a new propane grill. I needed it delivered, and I was willing to pay for its assembly. I made it very clear that I wanted the item put together in the store, and the final product delivered to my home, and placed on my balcony. I kept iterating what I was asking for, because before that moment, anything I bought from home depot, that required installation, was done by a 3rd party. She assured me that this was included in home depot's service, and if I had to pay extra, it would show up during checkout.

I learned, weeks later, she was wrong. The product was delivered to the store on time. Something told me to go into the store to check on the order's progress. After a few moments, the different customer service person found the delivered item sitting at "Will Call" (a cart near customer service). After over 45 minutes, we find out that no one knew when the in-house person who assembles items would be in next. I was told the original customer service rep would call me with an update. That never happened. Because of this most recent experience, I knew to check in again after a week.

I waited a week, and went in again. The said grill was now sitting "Will Call" assembled. I verified with this customer service rep that I working with, this time. I ask him about how we can ship this to my home. He has to refund my original payment, and charge me again, but with "free" shipping. Once that's over, I'm assured that the item will be shipped to my home within 3 days. I get the delivered grill in 3 days. To my amazement, when the delivery person takes it off the back of the truck, it's been disassembled and back in its box. So, I'm sitting with a grill I now have to assemble. Which is what I could have done day one, and not wasted all of this time. To reiterate, I ordered and paid for the grill, at customer service on August 31st. I received the disassembled grill in a box on September 23rd. That's 24 days. Home Depot is the last place I would ever imagine this happening. Now, is there any wonder why a person might go the Amazon route?

I purchased a refrigerator on 09/09/22, with delivery scheduled for 09/16, with a delivery window of 1-5pm. The delivery driver called me that afternoon and advised they were behind schedule, and would arrive around 7pm. As of 9:30pm that date, no delivery was made, and online/phone customer service was not helpful. The delivery driver didn't call me with any further updates. I had to call myself the next day to reschedule- even by about 12pm the next day, no one with Home Depot thought it important to contact me.

We moved into a new home that weekend- the home did not include a refrigerator. Unfortunately, this means my family and I do not have a fridge until the rescheduled delivery date of 09/22. This was explained, however Home Depot would make no concessions beyond a standard rescheduled delivery. I even asked them to take the fridge to the store, and I would make arrangements to get it myself- I was told this was not possible. I set realistic expectations when dealing with a large corporation like Home Depot, but in my opinion, this was a complete failure of customer service at the most basic level.

Ordered refrigerator online August 24th and set up to deliver Sept. 6. It was never delivered. Damaged on truck. They never called to let me know. I called and cancelled order. Been 9 days and still have not got credit on Home depot credit card. Called many times and customer service was no help. One excuse after another.

Huge monopoly, they put all the small guys out of business. Where do you go? Home Depot but their delivery is the pits. I don't know who they hire to deliver but there is always a problem and they cannot comply with specific instructions and repeated phone calls to go over how the delivery needs to happen. Ordered a refrigerator for an apartment, gave specific directions on how to deliver, gave 3 phone numbers to call upon arrival. No one got a call that they were there. They showed up and drove off with the refrigerator.

One tenant stayed home to receive the delivery scheduled for 9-1. I showed up at 11. Waited and never informed or called that they did not deliver. I put a call in and was told we missed the delivery. So where were the phone calls on arrival? There were none. Now attempting for a second delivery. Got one date by phone and another date by email. This inconveniences everyone, how hard is it to follow directions? Huge company like this should be better at getting their products to their customers. NO EXCUSE.

I ordered a refrigerator online from Home Depot Aug 22, delivery date for Sept 12, waited all day, was promised delivery by 8:00 p.m., cell phone, home phone, email, text, nothing, Emptied refrigerator 7:00 p.m. and waited until 10: 00 p.m. Today, Sept 13, I got an email saying the refrigerator delivery is rescheduled until Sept 28. How can that be? I am very sad about this and can forgive many things, i.e. delivery person got lost or mistakes made, but not call us is unforgiveable. So I have cancelled my long awaited for new refrigerator.

Ordered a dishwasher from Home Depot online. First 3 deliveries the dishwasher was dented and sent back. During 2 of these deliveries the worker told me I would need a plumber and they couldn't install it even if it had been in perfect condition. The fourth delivery was sent separately with a plumber. The dishwasher wasn't dented this time, but he said it wasn't functioning properly and the dishracks were dirty/discolored as if it had been used before. So he took this one back along with my older one that was still working.

I've spoke to HD reps several times. They all have something different to say. One supervisor (on 8/14/22) told me I would get a full refund. I received a portion of that. Spoke to another person in resolution dept 8/24/22 and told him I was told I'd be given a full refund (everything...install, tax, haul-away, etc) and he says he can't do that because all the refunds that are possible have been given. That's ridiculous...a giant like Home Depot can do what they want if something is escalated to the proper individuals.

They've also told me to contact Electrolux directly for resolution, but Electrolux said they can only inspect the machine in their warehouse and after that it's out of their control. White glove service they call it, which they have done before on the 3rd delivery...arrived dented. Of course delivery is handled through a 3rd party vendor (Darryl Flood Logistics), but ultimately it is up to Home Depot to contract with who they choose and rectify these nightmare situations. I deeply regret using Home Depot. I have wasted countless hours of rearranging my work schedule to be home, missing important meetings that affect my work performance due to their extreme negligence. I have well documented this with dated notes, names, and pictures of the dishwasher. A couple weeks ago you could view the thousands of complaints about Home Depot on BBB website. As of today their profile is being updated and you can review nothing...hmmmm.

I made the mistake of getting appliances at The Home Depot online. Bought July 8, waited all day for delivery today August 12. At 4pm when apparently the drivers are no longer available to talk to (but they work until 7pm) and my delivery window extended until 6pm they sent a message that my delivery was attempted and failed. Next available delivery date is August 23. I have been home all day, did not receive any phone calls, and only had updates through their tracker page. Needless to say I 100% do not recommend buying anything from this company.

I specifically bought this washing machine on July 4th because it had a "guaranteed" delivery date of July 9th. That got changed to July 11th -- no big deal. Couple of days later it was change to August 11th because of supply chain issues. Now I've got a problem. You knew your inventory or you did a bait and switch. Yesterday I was notified that delivery will be August 11th between 7am and 11am. Today I received a phone call at 7:25am, I'm home, and missed the call. No message was left. Thought it was a spam call because nothing identified it as Home Depot.

At 11:46 I got a call identified as "Home Depot". A message was left indicating that if I don't respond to the delivery people they will move on. I immediately went to the front door and the delivery person was walking up to the front door. I told him to pull around the alley and I will let him into the basement. He told me that he can't deliver the washing machine because he "already closed the app." What? I used a few adjectives and told him to go the alley and I will meet him at the basement. He said "Ok." I opened the door went to the alley and then to the street. He took off. I immediately called "Home Depot" and complained. They were too busy to have them turn around and deliver. I got transferred to a manager and got the same response. Now, I'm facing the third time I've been rescheduled. They were there and did not deliver.

The absolute worst appliance delivery experience ever! Delivered on the wrong day 3 times then, back & forth with "The Office" resulting in me not knowing if my new appliance even works. Next time, I get it at Lowe's!

I purchased a range and vented microwave. The day before they were supposed to deliver I got a confirmation email. So I was instructed to remove the old appliance and expect delivery and installation (only for the range because the microwave didn't meet the $399. Minimum purchase to deserve installation even though my total purchase was over $1200). The morning of I got a call saying there was a problem with the truck and they might be 3 to 4 hours late. They never came.

Next morning I spent half the day on the phone. They weren't even coming from out of town they were less than a few miles from my house. When I in my frustration I wrote a negative review. They showed up with my goods but no cord (THAT I HAD PAID FOR), borrowed my box cutter because they didn't have one. Promised to come back with the cord, they did not. The next day I went to the store the best they could do is give me another box cutter and the cord to go home and install myself. Promised I would be compensated with a gift card for all my trouble. It's been 3 months and they have done nothing.

Purchase a dishwasher from them online and purchased the install and take away. The installers show up and refuse to install saying the cord is too short which is not true. Home Depot lied and said they could install a hard wire. They refused to leave my dishwasher paid in full with me and refused to take the old one. Called customer service who kept me on the phone lying and refusing to issue me a confirmation for canceling the order completely. They wanted me to pay for an electrician to install the dishwasher.

JASON (who was very snide and a really ugly person, I really doubt he is a supervisor since his communication skills are terrible and he uses incorrect English when speaking) refused to give me a cancellation confirmation. Saying the dishwasher has to be scanned at the warehouse. I never had the dishwasher, it never entered my house, but I can't get a confirmation. As far as I know, the two delivery guys never took it to the warehouse. They tell me I will receive a refund in 3-5 Days...

HD provided delivery window 10:30-2:30. Driver said he called before 8am and arrived but no call or knock at door. They left and told me that I would be rescheduled. I will never again buy an appliance from Home Depot. The worst!!!

I gave them 1 star because there is no zero star option. Buying a range from Home Depot was probably the worst decision I've ever made. The range itself and the buying of it was painless enough, but the delivery, installation, and haul away were a nightmare. Installer had inadequate tools to disconnect/connect the existing range and new range.

They left my new range sitting in the middle of my kitchen and my old one pulled out in the center of the floor, informed me that when I could get the old one disconnected they would return and finish the job. Old one was disconnected by the following morning and the first available appointment to "finish the job" was over a week away. Calling the store was pointless and added to the aggravation. I was hung up on 5 times before finally getting someone who told me it wasn't the store's responsibility, I needed to deal with the third party installers. We took care of things ourselves and will never deal with Home Depot again.

I just had a recent LG appliance delivery. The delivery men did not hook up my gas stove correctly!!!! The delivery was late morning on Weds 7/13. Upon leaving, my husband asked them if the stove was connected properly as we want no issues and they replied, "oh yes, all set up fine". The next morning my gas detector alarm was going off. I therefore called my Nicor gas company to come out and inspect. And what do you know, gas was detected behind my stove. Per Nicor the gas stove was not hooked up correctly! This is so unacceptable!! My house could of blew up!! People/pets could of died. Why would HD send these inexperienced people out to do these jobs?? And they should be required to test the area for a gas leak before they leave!!! I am so disappointed in you Home Depot. Thanks for the $215 credit, what a joke! Should of been a lot more! I really hope you look into this and this does not happen to anyone else.

We ordered a Samsung refrigerator a little over a year ago. Within 6 month the ice maker stopped working and was told by Samsung that their warranty ended but we did purchase the extended warranty from Home Depot, And that is when the nightmare began.. 3 times we were told that someone would be out to replace the ice maker, and 3 times no one showed up, Final on the fourth attempt someone came out got on the phone with his supervisor and was told he come not replace it because it was our first service call due to a LEMON LAW ??? and left.

We then complained to the Home Depot Corporate office and was contacted by a gentleman named Clayton ** who said it was “his job to get this fixed.” The next day another gentlemen called Jay and told us that on July 6th between 8 Am and 12 Noon someone would be out to replace the ice maker. Well!! That never happened. When we called Jay back on answer left a voicemail. He called back a little later and told us to “Cross our Fingers” and would try to get someone. That was the last call and Clayton ** NEVER responded back. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT purchase any warranty from Home Depot because you will go thru H _ _ L trying to get anything fixed, horrible customer service and no integrity from their corporate staff.

We purchased Bosch dishwasher and the first team that showed up to install had no idea what they were doing. They said we can't run our disposal and dishwasher at same time after they install.. Rather than using the dedicated line they plugged the dishwasher into the same outlet as the disposal which meant you could only run one of them at a time. We called to complain and they sent another team. They installed it and no more than two months after we almost had a fire. We heard a fuse blow and saw it light up. My husband looked at junction box they had installed and it was charred inside. We called them today and got a measly..."Oh I am sorry please call back Monday." This is a homeowner's worst nightmare that they don't vet their workers and have someone come in that does not know how to safely install appliances. Will never buy from Home Depot again.

We purchased a Bosch refrigerator from Home Depot. We told the sales lady that we had a Subzero refrigerator that would need to be removed. We paid Home Depot the $30 removal fee, and she scheduled for the delivery. When the delivery company brought the refrigerator, the man rudely boasted that he would not remove a Subzero refrigerator. He barked, "Do you want me to take back the refrigerator or leave it under your carport?" Of course, this was not acceptable to us. We told him that we needed to contact the manager of Home Depot to find out what to do. He loudly said, "I've got other deliveries to make, and I have to go. What do you want? .... I'm leaving." My husband said, "If you leave with our property, I'm calling the sheriff." No profanity occurred. He accused my husband of threatening him. Well, calling the sheriff is not a threat.

As a matter of fact, as a mid-seventies couple, we felt threatened in our home. He left our house and later that day I found out from the Home Depot manager that the order had been canceled. In fact Home Depot refuses to deliver anything to us again. The person in charge at their warehouse didn't even bother to give us a call to find out what happened. I can't believe they would take the side of a delivery man instead of a paying customer. I'll never set foot in a Home Depot store again. They don't care.

I have been a loyal customer of Home Depot for the last 30 years. I recently purchased a washer/dryer - very smooth - delivered, installed all good. On June 4 I ordered a Kitchen Aid Refrigerator/freezer. Delivered on June 9, couldn't install with a plumber, called immediately and had the work done on June 13, to get installed. Called to have someone come out, and hook it up. Couldn't do it until June 21, didn't show up. Called and they said I wasn't on the schedule (lie). Home Depot arranged for someone to come on the 20th. They came and realized there was a dent on the freezer door, wanted Home Depot to come and get the fridge, I was done. Almost a month dealing with this. Would not allow me to return the refrigerator.

I was advised to deal with Kitchen Aid - made an appointment for them to come and check the dent. They called me the day before and said they weren't coming, they want me to take all the plastic off the fridge and take photos of the dents. Send them by email. They will order new doors but it would take 6-10 weeks for them to come in. I'm done with Home Depot, Done. I would advise everyone to go to an appliance company to order appliances. Never had I had such a stressful, inconvenient experience. My relationship with Home Depot is done, from now on Lowe's, and any appliance I have to order will be ordered from an appliance store. Beware!

We recently purchased a refrigerator and a pair of wall ovens from Home Depot. The refrigerator was delivered several weeks ago, and had small dents in the front, so we reported it and chose to get a new one (rather than a damage allowance). The night before the second one was to be delivered, they called us to say it, too, was damaged so they were not going to deliver it. We got the third one about a week later. It had small dents in the front, but we were tired of removing and replacing all of our food, so we accepted it and got a damage allowance from Whirlpool (which takes up to 8 weeks to receive) and a compensation from Home Depot.

This week, our wall ovens were delivered. They, too, were damaged. They had several dents in the back, and my husband (and the installers) did not feel that it was safe to have them installed. Home Depot does not have this model in stock, and told me the next possible delivery would be 2 1/2 weeks out. Since that date wasn't good for us, we have to wait several more days, and then another day for installation. I have already been without ovens for a couple of weeks because our kitchen is being remodeled, so now I'm without ovens for about 1 month. By the way, these ovens are Frigidaire, so I don't think this can be blamed on the manufacturer. I realize there is a supply chain problem, but... why is every appliance that Home Depot delivers damaged?? I would never purchase another appliance from them.

My husband and I have been renovating the upstairs in our house. We purchased stove and fridge in March. Finally delivered on June 4th damaged. Had to refuse delivery and canceled order. June 19th still had not received our full refund even after going to the store in person and being assured it would be 2/5 days. Ultimately had to go to our credit card company to resolve the issue.

Ordered flooring prior to problem with appliances and it was also delivered damaged, caused a delay and had to replace the broken parts. Replacement stove and fridge delivered again. Damaged again. Waiting for replacement. Had been waiting for a pedestal vanity. Received it damaged. Was told that I have to request items are examined that they do not examine the items without a request prior to delivery. Literally everything we have ordered for our reno has been delivered damaged setting us back a month. Hours spent on phone being bounced from person to person with no solution. Managers promising to call back and don't. Very poor accountability and service. Will not count on Home Depot again.

Ordered product online. Made delivery appointment but they never showed up and never called with info. Re-scheduled my delivery appointment, never showed up and never called again. Rescheduling for a third time. They finally escalated my order. The store can't do anything about the issue and often will just hang up on you after they put you on hold. It's a disaster. Call center is located in South America too so have fun with that...

Bought an LG dishwasher, the salesman was kind and knowledgeable. My criteria: needs to be stock. Following Saturday, no delivery because of a glitch in the system... Happens! Got a call the following Tuesday morning from the transport company apologizing not being able to deliver cause the truck is broken (sure but whatever-lets reschedule).

Following Saturday, got a call at 7:40am saying they can't deliver cause they don't have the appliance in stock! Called customer service and they can't do anything but "investigate". Asked for a refund and they said yes but can't do it over the phone, needs to be in store. Got there and the people needed to run it by the customer service department... That took another 30 minutes AND total of 3 trips to Hope Depot for a dishwasher that's in stock, supposedly. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING THERE EVER AGAIN. Please note that I was never even offered anything for my patience or the time lost waiting for those fictional deliveries

Ordered a Fridge for an apartment I rent out. Have done this for other properties in the past and was not usually a problem. This time was different. I scheduled and re-scheduled the delivery for 4 different days and times. Each time the tenant had to be home. Each time, they failed to deliver the fridge, with no explanation. One time they even claimed they were outside the home while the tenant looked out the window and saw nobody. The 2nd time when they gave me the call in the morning to say they would be there in 30 minutes, I missed that call and called back TWO MINUTES after they called me. When I reached them, they told me it was too late now and they would have to reschedule.

When you call them the hotline is friendly, but then they connect you to the actual delivery company, and they could not care less and make that very clear to you on the phone. It is now 3 weeks after I cancelled the order and I still have not received the refund. I am just now on hold with their hotline again, and they are telling me a long story of why the refund has not happened yet, but ultimately this is just a huge waste of time. Never again.

I paid for complete service...including installation, delivery, disconnect and removal of the old…everything… including the additional required piece parts. Purchased a dishwasher from the Home Depot in North Haven CT. Since it is a Bosch dishwasher the salesperson in Home Depot told me I needed all of this stuff plus I needed to pay for installation and haul away of the old but the people who installed it would take away the old and I paid for the installation and the haul away.

The new dishwasher was delivered the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. The delivery people did not take away the old dishwasher because they said the old dishwasher needed to be disconnected -- the electricity and the water. No one at Home Depot said this to us when they sold the new dishwasher to us. They said if a Plumber was needed to install the new dishwasher Home Depot would provide that. So now I have the old dishwasher in my kitchen (a Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher purchased by the previous condo owner in 2015 which I am tired of paying someone to repair) and the new Bosch dishwasher sitting in my living room.

Today is Tuesday, the day after the Memorial Day weekend, so I called to get the new Bosch dishwasher installed and the old dishwasher taken away and today they tell me I need to have someone disconnect the water and unplug the electricity before they will install the new dishwasher. After a long conversation with the Home Depot telephone rep I was told that everything was under my sink and I can do it myself. I am old and my husband is recovering from a broken hip and arm so I asked them if I can pay them to do it.

I was told that Home Depot policy and liability prohibits Home Depot from disconnecting the water and unplugging the electricity for the old dishwasher. So I said I will do the water disconnect and unplug the old dishwasher’s electricity. They told me the only available appointment is June 6, 2022. Today is May 31. (Scream). Okay I will take it because I have no choice. This is so much harder than it had to be and Home Depot is not helpful at all.

I have purchased dishwasher from Home Depot before and this has never happened before. With my past Home Depot dishwasher purchases they have delivered and installed the new dishwasher and disconnected and taken away the old dishwasher. Not this time. It all changed. No one bothered to tell me. They just took my money and left me dangling in the wind. I will let you know how this ends. Right now though there is nothing in me that wants to do business with Home Depot again. Don’t do it. It is a giant headache. Customer service? Nope.

My new washer and dryer was delivered on Saturday. One delivery man broke my PCV water pipe with a pair of channel locks. Then said it was already broken, yet water didn't start flooding my house until he broke the pipe. Next the washer fell off the dolly and got scratched up pretty bad. They had the nerve to say, "I guess you don't want it after you saw it fall off the dolly". They called their supervisor at RAS Logistics in Gray TN. They said the supervisor would be calling me to send out a person to repair the pipe they broke and to also let me know when I would get another washer. This is now Monday evening and they have yet to contact me.

They know my water is turned off and apparently they could care less. Also, I have no idea if I will get my washing machine, or if they have ripped me off. I advise everyone reading this to go to Lowe's, at least their delivery people are careful and courteous. I say this because 2 days before my nightmare with RAS Logistics and Home Depot, I was delivered a refrigerator from Lowe's. No scratches and no broken pipe. I regret doing business with Home Depot and their delivery people at RAS Logistics.

I have been a loyal customer of Home Depot for many years now. However, I found out the hard way that they no longer prioritize customer satisfaction when it comes to delivering home appliances. I recently ordered a dishwasher to replace an existing one (exactly the same make and model as my current one). I have had changed quite a few dishwasher over the years, their lifetime is limited.

However, Home Depot has recently started using Temco, a piece of garbage company, for delivery and installation. The incompetent and lazy deliveries guys didn't even bother bringing the dishwasher into the house and made excuses they cannot do the installation due to size issues. When I showed them that the exact same model was installed by Home Depot few years back, they just laughed and said to call home depot to cancel the order. I was dumbfounded at this experience. I have a huge issue now with home depot and would be wary of getting anything from them due to their poor choice of delivery and installation partners.

We ordered a refrigerator, had to wait a month for delivery. When it was finally delivered it was damaged. Was advised to call customer service, which we did, They advised to call Samsung customer service, which we did. We agreed on a compensation, we have never received it - a month after the item was delivered. Samsung says to now contact Home Depot. We did and was advised it's not their problem and nothing they can do. And was advised that the refrigerators are junk. Hmm not advised prior to purchasing.

I bought a new gas range from Whirlpool from Home Depot Online (Order **); The range was delivered on time but the technician who installed only tested the burners and not the oven. When I used it for the first time, there was a strong smell of gas and the temperature never rose above 100 degrees. I called Home Depot after 5 days to report the bad installation and lack of quality assurance, but they only cover issues reported <48 hours, and asked me to contact Whirlpool. Really... A $1000 purchase and it's up to me to figure out with Whirlpool what is the problem and get this fixed. Whirlpool client service is even worse but I did not buy from Whirlpool... Home Depot will abandon you! You are on your own, beware... It's actually like Amazon though you often get 30 days warranty with Amazon, only 2 days with Home Depot.

We ordered a Samsung washer and dryer from Home Depot and the installation was today. Two guys came and before the install, complained that the new hose to the dryer was not long and so we will have to use the old one. I said no because the old hose was ripped and did need to be replaced. I figured it was just an excuse because when I put my foot down, they magically got the new one working.

Once the washer and dryer were installed, the one guy ran both the washer and dryer and asked me to leave it on for a cycle. No clothes were tested at that time and he insisted it was fine. Later when I tried to do a load, I realized the water was not turned on!! When I call the guy l, he says it’s the weekend and I have to wait until Monday or I could call Home Depot. I did call Home Depot and an equally agonizing experience. These guys hire contractors who do half-hearted jobs and they have no control over them. The customer service’s best response was “we can send someone in on the 14th” get this? 7 days later for someone to come in and turn the water back on!! Outright callousness, high-handedness and the poorest of poor customer service all around!! Do not use Home Depot if you can help it!! Date: 04/08/2022: installation area Aurora, IL. Contractors from Chicago!

We had a refrigerator, stove and microwave delivered to be installed. The people could not install a microwave, the stove was left for us to pipe in the propane and they said the refrigerator was in. The minute we turned the water line on for ice and water it sprayed everywhere since they never hooked the water lines together. Hook up a water hose, it's that simple. Whoever they used as a contractor was unacceptable and unless you want to hire another team on top of the cost of the people they've already sent, do not use Home Depot. We are more than willing to show the receipts in order to keep people safe from this atrocity. Unfortunately we were not given the business cards from the contractors involved even though they were asked.

I bought a dishwasher and was given a delivery date. The day before the delivery date they canceled and gave me a new date. I sat at home the entire day and no show later found out they forgot to put it on the truck. So when I called the delivery company told me it would be a week away, was there next delivery date, when I asked to talk to a manager she came back and said I could have the day after tomorrow. The day before they called and told me 12-4pm. At 5 pm I called Lowe's and asked the sales person if they had that model. He looked it up and told that it was on sale ($100 less) and they could deliver it on 2 days. I bought it and canceled the one from Home Depot and I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot

The crew arrived within the delivery window promised, but told me that, because I hadn't ordered the required cord and dryer duct, (I was never told I needed them) they were just going to leave the dryer without hooking it up. (It's important to know the stackable washer-dryer goes in a small closet with just enough room, so getting behind once they are placed is impossible.)

The crew told me that I would need to pay $60, and that I could give the money to them. I called Home Depot to confirm this, and the delivery guy told me I could just pay online. They got it all hooked up, started both machines and left, and after they were gone I saw they didn't turn on the water BEHIND THE MACHINES! So I couldn't use the washing machine. I immediately called the main line and they told me I would have to wait another three days for anyone to call back. Additionally, they used the old dryer duct hose. So I hired two guys from the local day laborer center and did it all myself. Never again with Home Depot.

Bought a full set of appliances from Home Depot-Microwave, Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer. The wait time was expected but we were told we would receive a call the day before with a time window. That did not happen. The day before our scheduled delivery, we paid someone to remove the old appliances, re-measure the doors, take off doors, clean and prepare all of appliance areas and clear the passage ways to respect the time and position of the delivery people. This prep meant having the door to the garage off the hinges, cooling the garage!!! We wanted the process to be as easy for the delivery people as possible because we RESPECT the job they have.

I reached out when we didn't get a call the day before and was told the system was "having issues" so no time could be given. I reached out again at 6:30 the morning of delivery, same story but I was assured I was number 9 on the schedule, probably the afternoon, and the driver would call me thirty minutes out, that didn't happen and I was not home. No call, no text, no e-mail. After two hours on the phone, no resolution, I would have to wait but they were going to be gracious about it and deliver the next day! At 1:30 in the afternoon, all drivers had left for the day??? and there was nothing anyone could do.

The manager I spoke to after being hung-up on three times was rude and disrespectful, actually called me a liar and expected me to be grateful they could reschedule me for the next day. I will say, the problem solving people I spoke to were very professional and did try to assist me. I will not use Home Depot for anything in the future. I did everything and more than was expected of me and I am VERY DISAPPOINTED in the customer "service" I didn't get. I wish I had paid a little more and used the local shop for our large purchase. Lesson learned, when we replace all of the flooring, and three bathrooms, we will NOT be purchasing anything from this store.

Had to have them several times come to house to install. First guy didn’t even know how to drive the truck. Wanted to leave my appliances at bottom of my driveway and leave. Someone beat my dryer up. Had to get another. Wait 2 more weeks. Then when they install doesn’t work. Didn’t hook up to vent on exterior correctly. Or simply cut the sheet metal insert down. Just pushed in out my house by 8” and turn it upside down to catch rain in it. A simple pair of metal cutters or snips would have done it. Hire uneducated non construction or appliance installers. Job so bad and unprofessional I will no longer buy any appliances from Home Depot. I buy 6-10 refrigerators, stove and microwave combos every other year for my rentals. Nope if I could give them a negative number I would.

Waited almost a week for my washer and dryer to be delivered only to be told that my dryer was damaged / scratched on top. So I said well the delivery man scratched my new dryer on top when he opened the box with a box cutter, I was informed that it will be an additional 7-10 days of waiting to have a replacement delivered. Why must I be inconvenienced because their delivery person was careless? No one from customer service contacted me to try and resolve the issues, then I discovered that I was charged for Steele hoses and rubber hoses so I was doubled charged as well when I requested rubber hose for my washer. I was also charged $30 to remove my old washer and dryer each. That’s an additional $60 only to be disappointed by not having a dryer. DO NOT PURCHASE any major appliances from this scamming place. You will pay a hefty price with a big let down later.

We ordered three GE appliances from Home Depot. They gave us an estimate of the delivery date which we monitored. Then they kept postponing it at the very last minute. We learned that one of the items (the dishwasher) was no longer being sold, but they never told us that. Rather they kept our money and continually postponed delivery of all three appliances because they would not deliver unless they were all there (in spite of the fact that we paid separate delivery fees for each). When we learned about the dishwasher, we cancelled it so that the other two appliances could be delivered. They gave us a date and we rearranged everything to meet the delivery but they cancelled that morning. This occurred again over the next several days.

Every person we called assured us they would be delivered on the next day and that they were in the warehouse, but then in the morning we would be notified that "the truck didn't make it." They blamed GE, they blamed their systems, what they never did was take any responsibility. No one at Home Depot cared. We eventually cancelled the entire order and bought the appliances from a reputable firm and everything went smoothly. Save yourself a lot of grief - don't buy appliances from Home Depot.

Walk away from Home Depot if you’re buying stuff that needs to be delivered. The delivery company is the worst company which I saw in my life. So, we ordered full set of appliances and set of washer and dryer and was waiting almost 2 weeks for our shipping. They supposed to be delivered on Friday, but we got a call from them to reschedule our delivery because their truck got broke. So, delivery post to be today (Monday February 7, 2022). We are living on the third floor and we got the installation too.

So, the guys came this morning and from beginning they told us that they have a shoulder injury and they can’t delivery the refrigerator upstairs. My husband tried to explain them that he can help them with refrigerator, but one of the guy didn’t know English at all, so he didn’t understood nothing probably. Right the way he got made closed track doors and start cursing us for no reason. Right now they rescheduled us for the next Monday. That’s ridiculous, never order again from Home Depot.

Impossibly bad experience. I ordered 1 washer, one dryer, one stacking kit, installation, 5 year extended warranty. Waited 1.5 weeks for delivery. At the end of the delivery window I received a call from the driver that the order was damaged. I was on and off hold for over an hour to set up another delivery. Waited one more week for Delivery Day II, no one showed up. I called Home Depot after the delivery window. I was informed that the delivery was reported damaged again (no one contacted me). No one even called me that they were on the way. I was on and off hold for over an hour to set up Deliver Day III.

Waited almost 2 weeks more, received a courtesy call that the driver would be here in 30 minutes so I went down to meet him because I wanted to see the delivery with my own eyes since that was not an option the previous 2 times. My order was not on the truck. I called Home Depot, I was on and off hold for over an hour. I was informed the "Warehouse Manager" would call me within 48 hours to set up Delivery Day IV. I was told if he did not call to call Home Depot back.

After 48 hours, no phone call from the "Warehouse Manager". I called Home Depot. After being on hold for a time, she came back on talking fixing my order and I said simply, "Let's start with the beginning. Why didn't the 'Warehouse Manager' call me? Because we are starting a conversation that I should have had 2 days ago instead of making me wait 2 days from someone that appears was never going to call me." That conversation didn't go anywhere and I was offered to deliver one item and not the other, and I could not place an order yet because it's not in stock but I could place an order in the future.

How does my order situation get this bad? I didn't lose my patience until after the last conversation. I was patient for way too long. It starts turning into a game when you are told the "Warehouse Manager" would call you. I ask, "What if he doesn't call?" It's replied "Call us back". It's a different company messing up. Home Depot should be sorting out the problems on my behalf, not leaving it to me and the "Warehouse Manager" that is never going to call me.

Home Depot's contract installer sent "Tim". Tim is a plumber - not a handyman. Tim restarted from the beginning and redid everything. And the dishwasher works great. As great as Tim! Thank you Tim. You are the BEST!

Original review: Feb. 4, 2022

My wife bought a dishwasher from Home Depot in December 2201. It was delivered January 19, 2002. And was to be installed two days later. Unfortunately, It was not installed properly even according to the instructions that were left on the counter. The dishwasher is not level! It was not screwed into the counter! It was left about 3/4 of an inch to the right of the cabinet which is supposed to be next to the dishwasher! And the dishwasher sticks out from under the counter both to the right and in the front.

A reinstall was scheduled - we were supposedly the third stop and no one called or showed during the entire day. Another scheduled and no one called or showed. And today we were guaranteed someone would be here between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.! It is now 4:47 p.m. and we just got a call that he would be here in 10 or 15 minutes. This is NOT a Home Depot employee. Apparently, Home Depot contracts delivery and installation. Possibly they should better screen their subs. Or they can just go ahead providing lousy service. I'll be going to LOWE'S.

We ordered a dishwasher. Delivery was a few weeks after purchase. Dishwasher arrived but men couldn’t install or haul away old dishwasher due to a corroded connection. Booked a plumber for next day and called Home Depot to reschedule. First available was another week. Took day off work and they were a no-show. Called and found out it was rescheduled but no time booked. Next available, 3 days later on a Saturday. Great! I don’t have to miss unpaid hours at work. Since the number in phone is work, I give lady my cell number and told her the number on file is an office number and to please use my cell. No one will be at the office on a Saturday.

Saturday, I’m home all morning. A truck comes up the street but doesn’t stop. Stopped at neighbor's house who are doing a construction and then drives off. Delivery window ends. After multiple calls to get past automated voice, I find out that they did come and no one was home. They had a description of the house which sure enough was next door. They can’t do anything but reschedule for the next available, 5 days later. They keep saying they can’t come back because they already came and no one was home. The number on my house is clear. First delivery is on us as the corroded connection was our fault. But then rescheduling and messing up, and then rescheduling and not checking correct address….wasted time. Losing pay waiting at home. This is the last time I will use Home Depot for appliances.

We placed an order for a GE Profile refrigerator (model PFE28KYNFS). We also ordered an installation and haul-away of the old fridge. The new fridge got delivered to our home on December 23rd 2021, but could not be installed – the installers said that we needed to first replace the valve on the water line. So they left the new fridge in its original packaging in our garage, telling us to request the installation when the valve was replaced. We got the plumbing fixed the next day on December 24th 2021 and called Home Depot’s customer service to set up a new installation appointment. The earliest appointment that they could find was on December 30th 2021.

But they also said that, based on the appliance policy, we had 48 hours after the delivery to make sure there weren’t any defects or damage with the refrigerator. I told them that it would be impossible to check the refrigerator because it was not yet installed and was still packed and lying in the garage. So I requested them to start the 48-hour clock from the time the refrigerator actually got installed in our kitchen.

At this point, the Home Depot customer service became unbelievably rude and condescending about my request. They kept saying that once I had signed the paper for delivery, the 48-hour clock could not be changed, and that it was no longer their problem. So if the refrigerator, once it got unpacked for installation on December 30th, showed a problem on the same day or the next day, Home Depot would not be responsible for the problem, and I would have to work with the manufacturer to solve the issue.

I literally begged them to reconsider, asking things like: what if there were a dent on the fridge when we opened it? What if the icemaker didn’t work within 24 hours? I didn’t want to lose the chance to be able to exchange such an expensive and defective item. But they were least bothered about my concerns. I emailed their customer service (at customer_service@homedepot.com), received no response. I told them that I didn’t want the refrigerator and wanted to return the unopened item, but they refused. One person in particular was just terrible and harsh, I don’t want to disclose her name. But I have never felt more humiliated by a customer service experience.

I did not know what to do anymore, so I called GE (the manufacturer) to explain the situation. They turned out to be a lot more reasonable and empathetic. They explained that we actually had 7 days from delivery to check the fridge and make sure it was working properly. By a stroke of good luck, the 7th day was going to be December 30th, the day of the installation. They told me that if anything were to go wrong, they would help with a replacement.

On December 30th, when the installers came and unpacked the refrigerator, we noticed right away that the front right door was badly dented! This was exactly the situation I had been afraid of. I called Home Depot, they again refused to help. It was only with GE’s help that we were ultimately able to get a replacement. This whole experience occurred over the Christmas break. We were out of a fridge for almost 3 weeks, and on top of that we had to fight with Home Depot customer service on the phone every day. I wish this experience on nobody. They refused to help at every step of the way, and successfully drove us into real desperation. This is the last time I will buy anything from Home Depot.

My dryer was scheduled to be delivered on Jan 19, 2022 between 3 and 7 pm. On the day of delivery, on the website, it says: "Your appliance is already on the truck ready to be delivered to you" So I waited and waited till midnight. But no phone call, and no delivery arrived. When you know you can't make the delivery for whatever reason, you at least need to call and let your customer know. I called their customer support the next day. They wanted to reschedule my delivery 2 weeks later, what a joke. Only when I firmly rejected that did they agree to reschedule it to five days later. Let's see whether they can do a better job the second time.

I WANT TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE SERVICE WITH HOME DEPOT IS HORRIBLE!. During Black Friday sale I purchased (Refridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove) from The Home Depot store in New Rochelle, New York. My items were slated to be delivered January 10th. I stayed at home and no one showed up. I was on the phone with both the appliance manager at the store and the delivery customer service for 4 hours only to hear that a product was delayed and didn’t arrive to the warehouse until late. I received no phone call or anything notifying me of this and therefore I missed a day's worth of pay. I finally reached a supervisor who said the next available date is January 18th (which is today).

I stayed at home and took another day off of work and no one showed up AGAIN. This time I called and the representative said that someone put in the system they came and no one was home. This is a lie. I’ve been up since 7:00 am waiting because I had no delivery window estimate and I took the day off work again. This is two day's worth of pay that I lost and still no appliances that I paid for. This is unacceptable and horrible how I have been treated as a customer. Not mention there is no one to directly speak to when in crisis. I will never purchase anything from Home Depot again. In addition, I will post and let everyone I know not to buy anything from this store.

My wife and I purchased a refrigerator on Nov. 30th 2021. We were given a delivery date of 12/15/21. Needless to say it never made it. We never received a call or text stating there was a delay, I spent three days after and I couldn’t count how many calls I made to different parts of the company. I was finally given a new delivery of 12/31/21. Nope never happened. No calls from anyone again so I started making calls again. They told me delivery was re-scheduled for 01/05/22. That day has come and gone and we Still don’t have our refrigerator. I call again and they tell me 01/10/22 today and it never showed up. We will never ever spend another penny with this company again. So tomorrow I will call them for the 5th re-schedule. The Home Depot does not have a customer service department. They don’t know what customer service is or means. They are a joke at best.

F- on refrigerator delivery. Took 8 + weeks to get my second choice (the first order was for the wrong item, then the correct item was indefinitely out of stock). LINNSTAR (to whom this Home Depot has subcontracted their deliveries) finally showed up with the right fridge, then proceeded to give me grief about having to take fridge up a flight of steps and take the doors off to get it in the house. That done, they refused to remove the internal packing materials, tried to tell me that the removal I paid for meant leaving the old fridge in the back yard and left. I'm still waiting for the promised $50 refund from Home Depot. Worst service I've ever gotten from anybody! Goodbye Home Depot - you'll never see me again!

I purchased a microwave to be delivered and installed at a rental property in Pittsburgh. The delivery crew showed up and installed the microwave, but the door wouldn't open. They left and said call the customer service dept, and they didn't have time to correct the issue. After haggling with Home Depot to have the correct model installed the delivery crew showed up and dropped off the new model without installing it. They said they didn't have the drill bits. Each time they fail, my tenant has to call and be on hold for hours to get a human response. The dates keep getting shifted. What a nightmare. I'll never buy another appliance from Home Depot. They should hire better quality help.

Ordered a dishwasher in July, it was delivered in October, it is now December and it is still not installed! Have made multiple calls to Home Depot, been shuffled around to different departments, including calls lasting close to two hours. No action taken by them, no installation still, and they have told me I cannot file a formal complaint or seek any compensation until after it is installed. This means if they do not offer me any compensation, I'll have no ability to negotiate or return since it will already be installed. I received one callback from them, and the person leaving the message did not even leave their phone number. Hands down, this is the worst customer experience of my life. Will never purchase anything from them again.

I bought a Refrigerator in March of 2020 and also bought a 5 year extended warranty. I had the service repairman replace the power switch on the Refrigerator and the Freezer still does not work properly. It has been checked 2 times and still not working. I have to restart the Refrigerator every 4 to 8 hours to keep it running. I think the Refrigerator should be replaced with the extended warranty. Thank you, Danny **

If I could give no stars I would If I could give no stars. Bought a over the range microwave from them to be delivered and installed. To be delivered on November 2nd. When it got here it was damaged so I sent it back. They put the next delivery off until Dec 1st. Then called me on the day of delivery that someone called out and they would need to reschedule. Put me off again for another week because they said they were fully booked. Lol except I am not laughing. Probably come up with another excuse why they can’t deliver again.

They have you by the balls because if you ordered something that is hard to get they know they can sell it fast. But one thing they are not taking into consideration is that things will return to normal and if it wasn’t for people like us buying from them they will go out of business. I will never buy (even a nail) from them again. The only way they will listen to these reviews is to boycott their business and spread the word. Their customer service is bad too. They are little help if no help at all. A glorified answering service is all they are. If you think you will get somewhere with them you are mistaken. Good luck and I will definitely read all reviews before I buy a large appliance from anywhere. Electronic Express is a bit higher but get the job done. And Lowe’s is by far better.

This is for appliance installation from Home Depot in North Jersey, Vauxhall store; the delivery agent is based out of Perth Amboy. Am saying this because maybe issues I encountered are just regional. I had delivery of my appliances on 11/18/21 and they were to install an above the range microwave. The installer said he could not do it because the electrical outlet had to be relocated. He advised to get it relocated over the weekend, which I did, and they would come back Monday 11/21 to complete the job.

On 11/21 when they did not show up I called to learn the delivery scheduler had no idea about that they were supposed to return and said they cannot come back until 11/26. On 11/26 when they finally returned the installer advised "Sir... bad news. This cover of the old outlet is interfering and will have to be relocated". Today is 11/26 and now they are scheduled to return 11/29. I will edit this and advise what happens on 11/29, but no matter what it is already a zero star experience.

Delivery team arrived an hour after their scheduled time. Refrigerator came with a large dent in back. Paid for installation, yet the stove was installed with the wrong size fitting resulting in a gas leak and an emergency call to the gas company. I called customer service and was met with a very rude woman who said they couldn't get anyone back out here until next week. I have spent thousands of dollars on new cabinets and appliances here, this is not acceptable!

We ordered a suite of appliances in early October and scheduled a November 12 delivery date. Well, Home Depot was a no show yesterday. We were supposed to have received a text with a four hour window. When we inquired, we were told that the dishwasher and microwave were on back order until January, and that the fridge and stove were pushed out to November 27. Again, NO communication that this was occurring. Meanwhile, in preparation for delivery, all of our appliances had been disconnected and moved to the garage. Not only that, we had financed for 24 months, no interest, and I had already made the first payment.

Needless to say, we canceled the order immediately and went to another company that specializes in appliances where the customer service and overall experience couldn't have been better. My stove, dishwasher and microwave will be here next week and the fridge will be here soon after. We will never consider a major purchase from Home Depot ever again. Appliance buyers beware!

I bought a matching pair washer dryer. I checked before I made the purchase that they had lots of them in the warehouse so supply chain was not a problem. The delivery was scheduled over 2 weeks away from when I made the purchase. Ok, lots of deliveries, I get it. The big day came and the installers left before testing out the machines The washer didn't work. I called the 800 number immediately and was told installers would have to come check it out. 2 different installers showed up 4 days later and confirmed, the washer was broken.

I called the 800 number again and was told a new washer would be delivered in about 2 1/2 weeks. I explained to the lady that I had already done my time at the back of the line and I wanted to be moved to the front. No way. I went to the store to complain to the store manager. I asked him if I could just cancel the sale and get my money back. He lied to me and said no. It says in the info they give you that if your appliance is delivered damaged or broken that you can indeed request a refund and return the appliances. He lied to me, bold face lied. Do not buy anything, especially appliances from this store. You will regret it.

I went to Home Depot in search of a new washing machine during the first week of October, 2021, in Wareham MA. I ended up picking out a model that I was happy with after doing some diligent research. The washing machine was a WhirlPool WTW5005KW, SKU 1005-220-594 with a purchase price of $648.00. The purchase was made on 10/6/21 and the expected delivery date on the invoice says 10/26/21.

The day before the delivery was supposed to arrive, I did not receive a phone call from the delivery service. I did receive a phone call the day of the delivery 30 min before they were to arrive. The delivery men arrived (at some other address that was not mine) and did not even call when they were outside waiting - as I was sitting on my porch all morning waiting for the truck to arrive. They ended up leaving (from whatever address they went to) and called and reported that the owner was not home and they waited outside the house for 30 minutes with no car in the driveway and also stated that no one above the age of 18 was home (which didn't make any sense). I called and complained and wanted to know what was going on. The woman who is the liaison between home depot and the appliance delivery center (some 3rd party) told me on the phone there was nothing they could do and that the next delivery date would be November 3rd or 4th.

Today is the 4th and again I was expecting the delivery this morning, and I received a call to tell me that the washing machine never made it out on the truck and would not be delivered yet again for the 2nd time. Later, I got a call telling me that the delivery would now be moved to Saturday November 6th. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable and I have been trying to reach their corporate headquarters to complain and get this situation fixed but I have not found a number to reach them. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. This is absolutely unacceptable, they have horrible customer service, and clearly do not make it a priority to satisfy their own customer's BUYING from their own stores.

I purchased a washer and dryer from Home Depot 4 weeks ago, and delivery was scheduled for about 10 days later, including haul away services. Since then, delivery has been postponed, haul away services were refused on the spot by the people who came to deliver, and I've spent about 3 hours on the phone trying to sort all of this out. In short, the originally scheduled delivery simple didn't happen, despite us receiving an alert the day before that everything was on schedule. I called both Home Depot and the delivery company the following day to see what happened, and no one could even find my order. By the following day, they at least had a record in the system and rescheduled my delivery for *three weeks* later.

Today, the delivery people arrived with the washer and dryer, but said that their work order didn't include haul away services (though my receipt and my invoice certainly did), and they wouldn't even carry them out to the curb for us. I spent the full hour of their visit on hold with Home Depot (and getting transferred from one associate to the next). I was still sitting on hold when the delivery people took the washer and dryer to our *back yard*, left them there, and drove off. I haven't resolved this issue yet with Home Depot, but will be requesting a refund and haul away services ASAP. I would never have placed this order here if I had known how much work I would have to put into this delivery and haul away process.

Made a online order for a Samsung stove and microwave on 9/13/21 and was told it would be delivered on 10 /23/21, But now they say it won’t be here until 11/30/21. I can’t be without a working stove for this long and I believe that Home Depot should make this right. What is the problem with getting my order to me on time or at least in a timely manner? I’ve been waiting on this order with a broken stove for over a month now and now you want me to wait for another month and a half! This is completely unacceptable. I need my stove for the holidays - as my family is all coming to my house (20+ guests) and I need a working stove for that!!! I had a chance to buy another stove at the same price from a different vendor, but chose to give Home Depot my business, and now the other appliances at are no longer available and I am irate, that I chose to do business with Home Depot.

I’ve been reaching out to please see how can this be resolved And they’ve told me they would return phone calls which haven’t been returned from managers and employees and they’ve told me that they can’t help me with anything and that I would have to cancel my order and buy much more expensive appliances or I just have to continue to wait until the 30th of November for my appliances, which were supposed to be delivered on the 23rd of October and I bought them on 13 September. To wait till the 23rd seemed like a long time but now to have to wait almost 6 more weeks seems Just wrong, especially since it’s after Thanksgiving when I most definitely need a stove. At Home Depot they do not put the customer first. They put them last!

Over the last three years we have purchased major appliances, refrigerator, washer dryer (for my son) and now a washer dryer for our home. In each case we were given a specific date for delivery. In the first case, the delivery was delayed 3 weeks (past Christmas) after the date they gave us. In the second case 14 days delay and now instead of October 7, the new date is October 20. The problem is that in each case they called the day before it was to be delivered. No more!

Buyer beware! HOME DEPOT does not deliver themselves if you order a major appliance! They use a third party company, MDO. Once MDO makes a mistake with your delivery you are in for a world of hurt and stress. When you order a major appliance from HOME DEPOT, they will tell you that the delivery team will provide you with a 4 hour delivery date, for example; 8am to 12 pm. Also, they state that on the delivery date you will receive a notification 30 minutes before they arrive on that date. It could be a text message or a phone call. I never got that notification and was doing something and did not know they were on the way; I had been checking my phone periodically. So, the first mistake they made was a missed notification they should have made. I went outside and coming back in I saw a placard on the door saying they had been there. I was upset because I didn't get my notification.

Now is when you find out you are in for a big hassle. So I wanted to complain about that and find out what to do from there. So I called HOME DEPOT and found out they use MDO as a third party delivery service. They stated they would call MDO and try to find out something. They said the consumer could not call MDO directly and would have to function as a liaison. The HOME DEPOT liaison spoke to MDO and was told the delivery team had contacted me. That was a lie. If they would have contacted me, what did I say. They didn't have an answer. What could I have said, "I don't want the appliances delivered here." That would not make any sense since they were paid for and I was awaiting them. So if they in fact contacted me, what was said? The HOME DEPOT liaison said the woman representative for MDO got mad at her because because she disagreed with her when told that I was not contacted.

The liaison told her that I said I was not contacted and the rep. from MDO said, "OH YES THEY DID!" She wasn't there, how would she know that? I am just guessing she called her delivery driver and he said he made contact when he didn't and she just believed him. First of all, the delivery driver did not make the 30 minute notification call to me and now he is lying about making contact with me at my home. Here is what I think; I have some real steep steps going up to the top of my deck, it is 4 feet off the ground. I made them too steep accidentally, but you can get a dolly up them; I have done it a number of times. So the delivery guy knocked on the door and I didn't hear him because I wasn't expecting him because I didn't get my notification. He then conversed with his helper and they made the decision to not call me or make any further attempt to actually make a contact with me.

They may have said the steps are too steep, and would like to actually not try to get some major appliances up them. I am making some assumptions here partially based on the fact that the one or the other was of questionable integrity, having not gotten my 30 minute notification. So now I am just trying to cancel my order; I don't want to reschedule delivery of course after this experience. So I did that. What happens is Monday morning I get an email saying they were rescheduled for Oct. 8th. So now I am back on the phone trying to find out why I got that email. Meanwhile, the HOME DEPOT website states the appliances were attempted to be delivered already on Oct. 8th but it is not Oct. 8th yet, it is Oct. 4th! The orders were in fact canceled on Oct. 1st.

To encapsulate, in my opinion, it is not advisable to order anything online from HOME DEPOT as their customer service is not reliable in that you may get some conflicting emails and notifications on their website pertaining to your order. And DEFINITELY don't order a major appliance online to be delivered. I do like the stores around here and you can go and get good service there. I will continue to go to HOME DEPOT but I will never order anything online from them.

I failed to mention that they can't give you a cancellation confirmation in a situation like mine. Until the appliances arrive back to the manufacturer, they can't guarantee the order is actually cancelled. The 2n tier help desk told me although the order shows to be canceled it really isn't. I won't actually know anything my $1500 dollars, which has been in their bank account collecting interest, until I get a notification and that could be up to 10 days. There may be thousands out there such as I. That is a lot of money that they have in their bank that is actually someone else's. Money they can use for whatever until I get it back. Amazon always has the money back in my account in less than 3 business days with no hassles period.

08/05/2021 Order #** $2,202.71 LG Washer & Dryer + Install Parts. 08/13/2021 1st delivery attempt: dryer dmg -- verified order, including install kits, included in 2nd delivery; difficult time getting HD/LG to understand ENTIRE delivery was refused by delivery company -- told to call back after delivery acceptance for inconvenience allowance. 08/28/2021 2nd delivery attempt: randomly rescheduled. 09/04/2021 3rd delivery attempt: no installation parts included - got parts from local HD store & installed ourselves. 09/24/2021 Called HD & LG for 'inconvenience allowance'. HD said call LG.. LG said call HD. No one 'noted in our account' the inconvenience allowance'.. Feels like it was ALL A LIE to keep us from cancelling the order!

Wasted hours and hours of time, energy rearranging furniture for three different delivery dates, time off from work, and almost $100 in visits to the laundromat due to initial damaged delivery (old washer/dryer removed in prep for delivery). Never, never, NEVER buy anything from Home Depot to have it installed. Buy appliances from an appliance store. Buy a door from a door company. Home Depot has too many people/companies in the middle and no one takes responsibility for the errors that occur. I don't even want to know what it's going to look like if we ever need appliance service.

I purchased a washing machine on August 1, 2021. It took me over a month to realize the hot and cold water were reversed when the machine was installed. Home Depot accepts no responsibility after 30 days. IF I buy anything else from Home Depot, I will check every detail as soon as it is delivered. It appears that Home Depot does not care if customers buy from them again.

Ordered a new LG washer & dryer for delivery and added everything that their site said would be required to have it installed and tested upon delivery. When it was delivered, the delivery team refused to even bring it in the house because they said they could not install the washer without a pan. They wouldn't even connect the dryer and instead left both washer and dryer in the garage. Horrible service.

I bought a GE gas range which was delivered. I looked at the range sitting in my living room and everything looked ok. I didn't think to look at the undercarriage and since I was in the middle of a remodel, I did not hook up the stove for almost 2 months. When I did, this past weekend, My handyman and I were unable to level the stove. It was then that I noticed there was a bent piece of metal that held the cheap plastic leg which is now at an angle and unable to align at right angles to sit on the floor straight. The broiler drawer was bent by 10 degrees on that side away from the stove and there were scratches on the drawer that I hadn't noticed before.

Home Depot would NOT help me. I explained that I was new at this remodel thing and thought that this company probably dealt with delayed hookups by contractors etc. I did not read that I only had 48 hours to alert them to a problem. That's really unfair since I did not notice the damage until I actually attempted the hook-up. Either way, THEY sold me a defective appliance that can not be leveled. They would not contact the manufacturer on my behalf as the person told me they would when I called over the weekend.

Now, I am on hold with GE for hours. This is so stressful. I will be doing everything humanly possible to hold them to account for this! GE is offering to send a repairman out for a BRAND NEW appliance when what I want is a new one. Better yet, I want to return it. If they cannot satisfy me, I will be back to write a review for GE. I am terrible about reading the small print when I assume that companies will be reasonable. Why I would, at this juncture, assume that is my mistake.

This is the second appliance order (I didn’t learn my lesson the first time) delivery you've managed to give me the run around on. Ordered on August 25, 2021 at 10:27pm CST as they were updating homedepot.com and the system put my zoned store's address instead of my own. I didn’t catch this till my confirmation was sent. Spoke to someone from the delivery team and I get told anytime a customer edits their order after placement it’s considered fraud. She stated she corrected it and it should still arrive Thursday.

After not receiving any other update on it I have contacted and spoke with several team members as well as the "Escalations team", and no one did what 1 REGULAR AGENT took care of in less than 5 minutes which was reschedule after it was corrected 2 DAYS AGO. I kept getting told you guys would update the delivery and confirm with me. After calling and speaking with Mrs. Pam, she's the only rep I've dealt with that has basic common sense. The other 4 reps should be reprimanded and retrained on how to handle these situations as you have not only cost me money by having to pay for laundry services, I also missed work for this delivery and will have to miss it again on Tuesday.

It's bad enough the Samsung WF42H5000AW/A2 I bought on Sept 11, 2019 just had a complete failure right outside the warranty period, and that delivery had to most shady, rude, and lazy delivery drivers leaving them outside in the rain due to "We don't have enough time to fit it in". Now here I am, giving you a second shot and I still get played around with, while costing me even more money for the second time in a relatively short period for the same type of appliance.

I spoke with Mrs. Betty on my original delivery date of 09/02/21 and she said everything was set for delivery on 09/07/21. She was super sweet and helpful, the only rep out of the 8 I had dealt with a that had competence and basic customer service skills. Today, I check my tracking for my delivery window, and see no update or delivery issue message. Upon calling a second time (the first appliance hotline rep wasted 13 mins of my time and hung up in my face cackling) she just decided in the middle of the call to just go silent and all I could hear was her breathing. She then decided to cancel my order without my consent or agreement and hang up.

Now my last savings is tied up in refund hell, they’ve wasted 2 weeks of my time, 4 days of unpaid work, and undue stress due to sheer unparalleled incompetency. Don’t order from them or fork over your hard work earned money. They’re silly enough to throw 800-900 dollars down the drain for a zipcode change that obviously could’ve been easily changed.

First attempt at delivery - June 2021. Delivery guys unboxed the gas range on our front lawn and brought the gas range into our kitchen. Then indicated the refrigerator had to be moved. Apparently they were not allowed to lift the range up and over our countertop. They left with all the packing materials strewn across our front lawn. Our township does not take huge boxes so we kept it thinking we would be contacted about a retry. After several days I contacted Home Depot to learn that the delivery and setup was contracted to a 3rd party and that I would need to reschedule which I did. I got a call the day before indicating they need to reschedule which I did. The day of delivery came and nothing happened. I called the delivery company and they told me they don't have the stove to deliver and that I would need to get a refund and repurchase. Called Home Depot got a refund.

Delivery day today 2 months later. Took maybe 5 minutes to install as I had moved the refrigerator. But still left with a big box I can't get rid of. Also the Home Depot delivery folks threw part of my old range in the box along with an anti-tip fixture they were required to install by law but did not install. I questioned if the range was level as it rocked also. They said it was fine (it's not). So I will need to relevel. The icing on the ** cake is they left no manual for the range which I just printed out. These guys SUCK and I would recommend ordering from anyone but Home Depot.

I ordered my appliances for my kitchen renovation. Home Depot postponed several times. Finally a date was fixed and I was waiting at home to receive but not happened. I called and after a long waiting I was told that the delivery again postponed for another two months. I asked why nobody called me or informed me with no answer.

This is my first major appliance order from Home Depot. I ordered a stackable washer/dryer on the day I closed on my house on 07/21/2021 in store. The lady who helped me ordered it on their website. She told me they were backordered on on the dryer and suggested I wait until they can deliver both, which would be over a month from then on 08/31/2021. However, they already charged over $1700 on my credit card while I had to wait a month for it. She entered my phone number wrong on the order after repeating it many times, and luckily I caught it weeks before it was to be delivered. If your phone number is wrong on the order, it will be hard to track it. I called their customer service line to fix it, and it gave me the runaround until I figured out a way to find an actual human to fix it.

The day of delivery comes around, I got a phone call the night before as they said that my delivery window would be 12:30PM to 4:30PM. I took the day off from work and waited all day for them. The app they provided me said there were 11 deliveries ahead of me and never updates to show you which delivery they are currently on. Then around 3:30PM, I get a call from their delivery center that they had to reschedule for the next day at the same timeframe because their driver "was sick". Of course I was frustrated to hear that and thought that was a fake excuse. But what can I do about it at this point other than to accept it? Well, I had to ask my boss to take another half day to wait on this delivery.

I checked the app several times until it said that there was no information on this delivery. So I called the number they provided me at 1PM, the guy on the phone put me on hold to contact them and then said that I was their next stop. That I should expect a call from them in 30-45 min. Well, 4:30 rolls around and still no call or no truck in sight. I called them again, I get another guy saying that they were on their 10th delivery and I was number 12 and they should be there. He said he tried to call them several times but no answer. He told me to call a different number if I didn't hear anything 30 min later. Well, I checked the app again, and they moved the delivery date again to tomorrow without consenting me first! So I called the number he gave me, and it was directly to the Home Depot line.

At this point, I decided to cancel the order because I wasn't going to take more time off just to wait for no shows. The appliance line was no help, so I had to pick an option that didn't apply to me to get someone on the phone and transfer me to the appliance center. I told the lady I wanted to cancel, she asked why, and I told her it was because of the constant rescheduling and lies the delivery people keep telling me. Then she acted like I wanted it to be rescheduled again for the 3RD TIME and that someone over 18 was gonna wait there. I told her no one else is gonna wait there, I'm the only person living in my house and I'm not taking another day off from work for this. So she finally went ahead with the cancellation.

I wish I could have read other people's experiences about their appliance delivery from them first before buying from them. Apparently, I have the exact same experience with other people when it came to last minute cancellations with a ** excuse and rescheduling without telling you. How is it okay for them to charge thousands of dollars on your card and don't even bother to deliver on time? If they do not refund all my money within the 7-10 day timeframe that they told me it would, I will be disputing that charge with my credit card company. I will never do business with them again after this.

My husband & I order a refrigerator off the Home Depot site on 8/16/21. We got a notice that our refrigerator has been delivered but it wasn't. My husband went to the store that was handling our order & come to find out there was a fire at their warehouse & we weren't informed of this neither was the home depot store and he did this several other individuals on this day alone. Long story short we can't get our money. Everyone at the store is clueless on how to resolve the issue. It's not hard. Give me my refrigerator or my money. It's been 2 weeks and counting & no ones knows anything.

HORRIBLE APPLIANCE POLICIES EVEN WITH EXTENDED WARRANTY! Spent nearly $2000 on GE Washer & Dryer - sounds like it's going to go through the wall. Home Depot response: "So Sorry. It's been over 48 hours so we will only send service out". This is the 2nd SAME WASHER sent. Is the 3rd one supposed to be the charm? Lady Lake, FL: JD, Manager, Joan (who is as worthless and effective as the machine) and Chanel (customer service corporate) who repeated the same thing: "too bad, so sad" then transferred me to a system to make a GE appointment that after 20" still never answered. I just spend over $5,000 at home depot since mid-July. THAT WILL BE THE LAST OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY THEY'LL RECEIVE!!!

Temco Logistics. How do you still stay in business? Your Yelp reviews suck!!! Home Depot. What idiot Home Depot higher up makes the decision to keep making HD customers suffer with an ** delivery service like Temco Logistics? And why only use one delivery service? Why not use a few and create competition? Have you seen Temco Logistics Yelp reviews? Do you know the hours I spend with your phone reps over Temco Logistics' ** failure to deliver?

Delivery attempt #1: I got a call the night before to be ready to get delivery between 8:30 - 12:30 the next day. After waiting around all day, I called Home Depot who told me "product never made it on the truck". I asked Home Depot to give me the number for the delivery company to see what's going on. Temco rep told me they're doing a doc search? and when they find the item, it'll get the on truck.

Delivery attempt #2: I got a call the night before to be ready to accept delivery between 8:30-12:30. After sitting around all day, I called Temco and the rep told me there was a shortage of drivers and the item never left the warehouse. I asked why I wasn't told so I didn't have to miss work...blah blah blah.

Delivery attempt #3: Same night prior call asking me to be ready to accept delivery. I proactively called in the morning and was told the item never made it on the truck. I called Home Depot to complain offered to have them deliver to local Home Depot store, I'd hire installers and I'd give Home Depot the bill. Home Depot said they don't do it like this. We do a 3 way call with Temco and was assured that the next time, it'll get on a truck because they were going to do a "doc search?" which was what I heard after delivery attempt #1. I asked what if it doesn't happen? They said not to worry.

Delivery attempt #4: I called several times during the day to make sure the items were on the truck and my delivery "was the last one of the day". Around 5 PM, I called again and was told "delivery wasn't going to happen, sorry". I went to local Home Depot store and asked if I could just buy it directly from the store and rep said it wouldn't make a difference, they use Temco for direct purchases too. I asked "aren't there a bunch of customers like me then?" Rep replied, "no, you're actually really nice"...

Delivery attempt #5: Never made it on the truck. Like previous 4 attempts, no one from Temco calls me. I call Home Depot and spend another 2 hours of my life to try to avoid dealing with Temco. Temco supervisor says she can only send an escalated email to the warehouse and like the previous 4 attempts, cannot put me in front of the delivery schedule because that's not how their scheduling system works. Unfortunately my local Lowe's is the only other store that does delivery/installation of this model and they also use Temco...

During a kitchen remodel this year, we ordered a GE cooktop for the island around the end of March 2021. Delivery was set up for a month later, the end of April. Then rescheduled monthly for May, June, July, then the middle of August. Two days before that delivery date, it was pushed out again for two more weeks. I have called numerous times and talked to Home Depot customer service to track my order. All they could tell me was the product was "under production". They could or would not call GE to track the order. Seems like once they place my order with GE, it is out of their hands. All while Home Depot had my $2200 for the product. GE could not tell me anything because they do not recognize my Home Depot order number. Seems like a huge disconnect between Home Depot and General Electric. All while I wait months for the GE product I bought at Home Depot five months ago!

Supposed to have a dryer purchased from Home Depot in King of Prussia, PA on August 3rd. The delivery was scheduled for August 20, 2021, today, between 11 and 3. The delivery was confirmed last week. Dryer never arrived. Called Home Depot 5 separate times beginning at 4:30. Was told they cannot reach the delivery people because their "phones are shut down." The salesperson explained that he could not help me. Called back an hour and a half later. Waited on the phone through 30 rings before someone picked up to tell me that she couldn't find my order.

Called back again at 6:30 and asked for the manager. Same story from her. She had no idea what happened. She told me they use Freight Rite for deliveries. I also called the number on the brochure for delivery updates and got a robotic answering machine that told me my delivery was scheduled for September 4th, another two-week delay. What? How did that happen? I never agreed to that. Lesson here is do not shop at Home Depot. Customer service is less than one star. NO one knows anything about anything. Looked up Freight Rite. They are loaded with one-star reviews. Went on Lowe’s website. Same dryer, same price, delivery this Sunday. Lesson learned.

It has taken 5 attempts to get a microwave delivered and installed. The initial microwave was part of a complete kitchen package and was damaged when delivered. On the second attempt nearly a week later they just didn't show up sending an email after the fact stating the delivery needs to be rescheduled again. On the next attempt 3 days later, they didn't call, they just showed up, then called and said they couldn't wait so we had to reschedule again. The next attempt was 2 days later. They said they would give a 30 minute call before they arrive, of course, we received the call 10 minutes before that we couldn't get to the house in 10 minutes and they again left w/o delivering. So we are now on our 5th attempt to get a simple microwave delivered and installed. Worst customer service ever as far as the delivery is concerned.

I don’t know where to start. This was the worst delivery I’ve ever had in my life. Delivery guy had too much attitude. His name is Gregory **. He DID NOT listen what I was explaining. I feel like he had drugs. He did not know how to talk with a girl. Washer and dryer needed to install but this guy just left everything in my garage. I tried to explain him that these 2 things needs to install because I paid for it. He said no he cannot and gave me the number to talk to company.

Also, when I told him to take all applications with him because he talked so rudely and he said he has everything in his house, he don’t need these appliances. I was so shocked. He did not how to talk. Also, he didn’t even open washer dryer so I can check if there’s any dents. He told, "You have 48 hours. You open and check." Very very very very poor service. I might return all the 5 appliances. I will surely not buy any stuff from Home Depot. This incident made my day bad. Gregory did not ask anything about where to put appliances. He just dropped at garage. Worst delivery service. Worst.

Bought an LG refrigerator for 3417.28 plus ta. To only break down not even 3 full months later... Do not buy their crap, Home Depot doesn't even stand behind their stuff but 60 days. Making a claim is literally a nightmare.

We purchased a LG refrigerator from Home Depot. We purchased the extended warranty for our $2000 refrigerator for an additional 200 bucks. 3 weeks ago the unit failed. We are still waiting for a service person to show up and fix it. Junk and terrible service is all I can say. I will tell everyone I know about this.

Home Depot itself provides excellent retail service and I purchase items from Home Depot quite often. Their partnership with Same Day Water Heaters has lost them my patronage due to the very poor experience I had with the partner service provider that could not keep to their supposed 'same day' service window and utter inability to keep me informed about the plumber's whereabouts or give any firm time to appear on site when they missed their appearance window and I was giving them an extension. This service provider clearly cannot control its job scheduling and its customer service representatives, though courteous and professional, are utterly useless in terms of customer advocacy.

I followed their scheduling protocols to the letter and called them three times during the service window to gain updates, and none were given. This is an urgent install and that was made clear from the onset. Same Day Water Heaters really could care less about the customer in these circumstances as evidenced by the clear lack of transparency regarding how my appearance window was managed. I strongly recommend that you avoid this installation partner for the reasons described. Home Depot is a highly reputable retailer, but they have chosen quite poorly in aligning themselves with Same Day Water Heaters as an install partner, and this has cost them my business.

The washer is perfection. Electrolux 527 front loader. However, any washer needs to be installed. Home Depot offers an "installed price." Well, the installers did a very bad job and now the water intake valves are burned out and parts are extremely scarce. Result: no washing machine and desperate for clean clothes. We are buying extra underwear at Target and handwashing in the sink while we wait for parts to come from who-knows-where. Not what you expect for a thousand-dollar purchase.

Home Depot disavows all responsibility. They have a 48 hour "return window" and that's it. It took more than 48 hours for the valves to burn out so they say "Tough beans." I reminded them that they they were my vendor. They sold me a product and failed to deliver it in working order. Didn't they want to step up to that? The answer: "Forty-eight hours." They would rather lose a life-long customer (a "Pro-Xtra" customer), than do the right thing. It's a bad business strategy. I'm gone forever and so is my family.

As for Electrolux, they admit nothing but at least sent someone over (from Sears) to look at it and order the parts. Meanwhile, we're washing socks in the sink. (Laundromats play well in movies and on TV, but in real life, they are not attractive places. However, it may come to that). Home Depot is costing Electrolux plenty of money, but I guess they don't care.

My advice: forget Home Depot. They are not a responsible retailer. Go to a small, family-owned appliance store, pay a few extra bucks to the gods of decency, and do the deal. I tried that, but the small places lacked inventory. HD had the inventory and I was impatient and now I'm paying the price and waiting just as long. Don't be stupid like I was.

Purchased in store $6800 worth of new appliances (whole house including Laundry). When purchasing, I told sales associate I didn't need for a few months as we were building a new house. "NOT A PROBLEM" he said. I called the store and got no answer in delivery 3 times prior to "their delivery date." Left a message with customer service as to new delivery date I needed. Delivery calls me and says "they have a delivery policy of 60 days after purchase" NEVER TOLD THAT!!! I told deliver The date I needed.. THEY SAID WE CANNOT GO PAST 60 DAYS!!! NEVER TOLD THAT. TOLD THEM JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND I WILL SHOP ELSEWHERE!! HE said "not a problem" your cc will be credited within 3 days! It is taking them more time and energy to send appliances back to each distributor and refund my money than just postponing delivery date. NEVER BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT!!!

My refrigerator purchased at Home Depot was delivered 8 days ago. After 6+ phone calls, they have no idea how to get a plumber to my house so I can plug in my refrigerator, although they PROMISED to do it. I had made an appointment to pay for my own plumber, but Home Depot said they offer this service free which would only take 24-48 hours. Then they promised it would be 72 hours. Then they promised Tuesday at the latest. Today is Friday. They told me that after the plumber put in a valve, Home Depot was to return to put it in my kitchen. After hours on hold, they've given me many promises but the fridge is still in my dining room. They even gave me a phone number to call which had been disconnected.

The fridge works ok, the delivery men broke a window and the company that works as a 3rd party vendor (GE, Forward Final Mile) is trying really hard to not pay the claim. Believing the delivery men over my account. Because I would lie about a broken window. Never again will I order from Home Depot for delivery.

I had ordered a dishwasher 3 weeks ago and had it scheduled to be delivered today between 7:00-11:00, took the day off and had an electrician scheduled to arrive this afternoon to install it. At 2:30 I got a voicemail letting me know they rescheduled the delivery for 10 days later. Unreal! Now I am trying to call their 1-800 number and needless to say it is impossible to get hold of anyone. I will NEVER order an appliance from Home Depot again. Horrible customer service.

I placed an order for Washer/Dryer and selected the date 07/15 for delivery. On 07/15 morning I was told that the delivery driver's wife went into labor and the delivery cannot be made. They rescheduled the delivery for 07/19 between 1-4 PM. On 07/19 at 6 PM I get a message that the delivery truck came and waited outside for 15 mins and left. They did not ring the bell nor did they knock on the door, not sure what they were expecting? Me to be standing on the driveway? I call them back and they said once the truck comes back to the depot, they will call and reschedule and also send an email. Neither of that happened.

I called again the next day, same thing no response, after several calls, they said the earliest they can deliver the appliance is 08/10. What does Home Depot think? Was this a purchase I made for fun? they can give any date in the future and I need to comply? I have learned my lesson, I am providing this review for anyone who is considering purchase from Home Depot. I have not yet received my appliance.

My husband and I purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot in the first week of June. Believe it or not-----STILL NO REFRIGERATOR! We were told that the truck broke down the first time. Then we were told that they were confused about the July 4th holiday and did not deliver as promised on July 5th. Then there is today. It is 10:35 pm. No delivery. We are sick of the excuses, sick of the lies, and sick of utterly pathetic customer service. If you do not care enough about your customers to fix this problem, you will go out of business. I intend to tell everyone I know to avoid the headache of being without an appliance for such a long time. This is horrible service Home Depot... and it may be the third party vendor's fault, but it is your name on the receipt of purchase. This is unacceptable. "The truck broke down". Then buy a better truck. How about that for a solution.

Home Depot is really bad with their appliance delivery, ordered my washer and dryer in June. They gave me date of delivery July 1st and someone called me and said truck broke down so they have to reschedule to July 10 and again I received a call saying truck has some issue and cannot make it. I would never buy appliances from Home Depot again, it was my biggest mistake.

Waited 2 weeks for install, said truck broke down, couldn’t come. Second install date attempt said valve broken, not done. Said they would send complex team with plumber to fix and install. Third install attempt they said they couldn’t, need plumber, not done. I had plumber fix it. Fourth attempt to install, one of the pedestals did not have all the hardware in the box, not done. After almost 5 weeks, and multiple calls & visits to Home Depot, still don’t have items installed. They keep saying they are working on it. Was even escalated, but no one helps you. I’ve asked for my money back to shop somewhere else, no response. Imagine going without clean clothes and linens this long.

This has been on order since May, last tow delivery dates were missed due to damage at the dock. 3 months and still no dryer! The 1st attempt - they did not see the order for installation and took dryer back, 2nd attempt - day off they called and said it was damaged, 3rd attempt someone showed up with the installation parts but not the dryer. I called the 800 number yesterday and the lady stated she sees in the notes this one was also damaged and their departments are not communicating with each other. She said call back tomorrow since she is not able to call me and she is there to answer the phones, but no one can assist with the issue and to call back! Now I am on hold for 15min with no resolution.

BEWARE - Messed up ordering system and no management or responsibility by staff in the store, I went into the Gosforth Bakersfield store looked at and bought a Refrigerator and paid for delivery .... After a few days when there was no call to arrange delivery, I called the store ..THIS IS WHERE THE HOME DEPOT DELIVERY CIRCUS BEGAN! No one at the store or at the various tel numbers could put me in touch with the delivery people, apparently this is a separate "contracted" service.... then they cancelled my order, even though they had charged my bank ... So if you buy anything large from these very disorganised people < don't pay upfront for it >>> only pay if you are taking it with you .... And don't expect any help from HD because they don't care about you!

We purchased a new KitchenAid Dishwasher as our 4 year old GE had an intermittent problem suspected to be the Circuit Board which was back ordered for at least a month. We had to buy a higher model than originally wanted due to Covid shortages but they discounted it to price match another store, so came out the same price. Delivery was set and we were given a delivery window 9-1pm. When I looked on HD website the order allowed us to track it and it said 7 deliveries ahead of us. OK, no way that will be on time but no biggie as I was working from home anyway. They arrived 1.5 hours late but never called as they were supposed to.

When they started the disconnect, I knew they would not be too good based on the way things were going. They go to install the new one, I had read the install guide and knew they were already doing it the hard way since the instructions give you some hints to help. I let them continue. They tried to take some shortcuts which I stopped, I insisted they use the New supply line the install kit had not the old hose to avoid future issues, then when he went to hardwire it they tried to say the wire would not fit and they wanted to cut a piece of wire from the plug wire I had to purchase with it per the sales person but did not need. I stopped him from putting the wires in between since I knew that was not to code and would be a fire hazard. Magically the wire fit but the installer claimed they would not guarantee it.

The old install had a drain extension which was not needed, again I told them to go direct so as not to have a possible leak. Reluctantly they did just that. When finally done, I insisted a partial cycle run and checked it filled and drained when cancelled before I would sign anything. They left and scratched the floor on the way out which I fixed. Afterwards I realized they took the unused power cord which I was to return for credit. I called the order company to get that resolved and am awaiting a credit now for that. That night I saw how crooked the dishwasher was so I loosened it to fix it, while I was at it I properly bent the tabs on the holding brackets that they didn't do so it would be tight. Guess I should have saved the $150 and done it myself.

4 new kitchen appliances delivered when they said...almost successfully. The contractor that delivered the appliances indicated that Home Depot did not give him the Order to remove the old appliances. I was not home - someone else was there (OR I WOULD HAVE DENIED THE DELIVERY). They put the new appliances in my garage (unboxed the stove and fridge!) and that is where they sit. I should not have to call/fight/argue for this to be resolved and that is why I am writing this now. They should have been out there the next day making this right!

On April 22 I ordered a gas range, microwave and dishwasher online. Ordering was easy and being charged in full was easy. Unfortunately here is where the good part ends. Delivery was scheduled for today, June 5. They were supposed to call the day before to provide a four hour delivery window. By 6PM last night I get nervous and call Home Depot. Customer Service Rep states he just spoke with the delivery company and they have received all appliances and are loading them on the truck “as we speak”. They would call me within an hour to provide the time for tomorrow. Two hours went by and nothing. Called HD again, they said the delivery team would call before 9PM. You guessed it, no call. Called again at 10PM and was told they are gone for the day but the delivery is scheduled for tomorrow and to call at 7AM.

So today I call Home Depot again at 7AM today and now being told that the delivery team would call within one hour and provide the time. 10AM rolls around and no call, of course. So I call again and now this is where we are: apparently the microwave is on back order and they can only deliver everything together, so my choices at this point are to cancel the microwave and have the range and dishwasher that were supposed to be delivered today and that they do have in their warehouse delivered on June 15 (what??), or have everything delivered on July 17, three months after I ordered and paid in full.

It baffles me how we can go from “loading the truck and will call you in an hour” to “microwave is on back order and we can only deliver together in 6 weeks”. Home Depot is saying it’s not them it’s the other company but I am pretty sure I gave my money to Home Depot and not the other company. Reading the other reviews I have zero hope that I will get my appliances on July 17. Or ever. Home Depot could not care less about this. Never again.

We ordered a Kitchen Aid dishwasher from a Home Depot on the NC Outer Banks. We live in Virginia and must travel two hours each way to our house in NC. The dishwasher was delivered on May 3 as scheduled, but due to a stripped connection, the driver declared it defective and took it back. Because of shortages (due to the pandemic), we couldn't get a replacement until May 24. The process for rescheduling the defective dishwasher took more than an hour by phone. On May 24, the second dishwasher arrived on time and was installed. The driver turned it on, saw that it was beginning its cycle, and left. A half hour later an error message flashed. The dishwasher kept trying to drain (no water in the tub) and the cycle couldn't be cancelled. The driver/installer did not respond to our calls. We spent a couple of hours on the phone with a supervisor, tried various reset options, but nothing worked.

The driver/installer finally responded and said that the dishwasher must be defective. A replacement was scheduled for May 28. On that day the driver/installer looked at the existing (non-working) dishwasher and said the problem was that the cabinet hole for the drain hose was too low. We asked him to cut a higher hole, but he was not allowed to do anything to our cabinets.

My husband offered to get a saw blade from a store two blocks away and drill a hole himself, but the driver said he couldn't wait. He left without installing the dishwasher that he'd brought. Later my husband downloaded the installation manual and saw that the hole was in fact correctly located. On June 2 we finally received a dishwasher, correctly installed using the existing hole and fully functional. Conclusion: We will never again trust the skill or work ethic of Home Depot delivery/installation. Customer support took the side of the driver in the matter of installation details and was not flexible about delivery dates.

I want to warn people when buying the extended warranty offered to purchase by Home Depot, to be very careful. I purchased the 5 year warranty, and thought it was good for 5 years after the manufacturers warranty. The chart they show leads you to believe this, and the terms say, starts after the manufacturers warranty. However, my LG washer is 5 1/2 years old, and doing very strange things, and they say my warranty is up. That it starts after the manufacturers warranty. I think the control panel is gone, and after research, that alone is over $200 to replace, not counting labor and their profit on the part..

Bought a new Samsung Refer which we absolutely love. When I purchased it I told the sales clerk that the doors might need to be removed to gain entry. I was assured that the shipping Company and drivers would be informed. When the truck showed up the driver measured the opening and said it would be tight. He said he was not informed in any way that the doors would have to be removed which I have in writing on what is called the “manifest details”. Home Depot salespeople will just flat out lie to you about your delivery. They just don’t give a hoot. Will use Best Buy next time.

Delivery and installation or purchased dishwasher. I purchased a dishwasher from the Evergreen, Colorado Home Depot store #1535. When I purchased the dishwasher the sales person went at length to tell us about the delivery process, which included we needed to make sure the dishwasher was installed and working before the delivery driver(s) leaves. The delivery was done on April 8th, 2021. The driver said they don't do the install. We showed them the paperwork which included highlighted paperwork that the sales person gave to us highlighting install and working.

The driver left. I called the Evergreen store after calling the service toll free line and not being able to get past the phone menus. I spoke first with a sales person in appliances and was told she couldn't do anything. I was transferred to an assistant manager. He was going to give me a new service install for no cost. But, it didn't end there. I needed to purchase an install kit. We had a professional plumber install new dishwasher plumbing before we had our cabinets installed and now I wouldn't have the install done for at least a week due to waiting for the kit, even though we had new plumbing.

My husband spoke with this same manager later in the day at the store and this manager refused to honor what he had told me with waiving the install fee. So then we would need to pay a $120 install fee and the cost of the dishwasher install kit another $25 plus tax. Needless to say my husband purchased one part that he needed that was less than $5 and left. I then researched online their installation "What you need to know." See attached screenshot. Enjoy free professional delivery and installation services on select appliance purchases $396 or more. I paid $579.00 plus tax for the dishwasher.

The delivery of a refrigerator was supposed to be on 3/30/2021 between 10 & 2. Did that happen? NO. All went smooth until the driver called to say he would be at my house in 30 min. All of a sudden he called back wanting directions. I gave him directions but evidently he couldn't comprehend what I was telling him. We do live in a rural area on a ranch but my husband was waiting for him at our gate. Actually he waited there 3 hours!!!! And when I called 1-800-455-3869 they told me he attempted delivery but missed you. HE WAS NEVER HERE because my husband was waiting for him. We made arrangements to have this delivered and THEN THEY DON'T SHOW UP. And I was told that the truck would not try delivery again that day. No one thinks about how you put things aside to be there for the delivery. They just think about themselves.

After several phone calls they won't deliver until 4/1/2021. So I don't have a working refrigerator and do they care, oh goodness NO. They just care about their convenience. So now my husband will meet the driver on 4/1/2021 and he will have no excuse that he can't find us!! I spent more on this refrigerator than what I wanted but out of the ones I looked at this had a sooner delivery time. For the hassle we have had to go through on this we should get half of the money back that we paid for this. And Home Depot needs to make sure they get competent delivery companies and competent drivers that understand when you give them directions. THE DRIVER NEVER CALLED BACK AFTER I GAVE HIM DIRECTIONS. The least he could have done is call back and I would have gone over it with him again!

And I wasn't real pleased with the Home Depot Delivery Dept. They said they tried but I don't think they really put themselves out there. No one cares about anybody but themselves anymore. My husband wanted to go to Lowe's but I didn't want to drive to San Antonio. Should have though. Have never had any problems with them finding our address. SO, BEFORE YOU HAVE A DELIVERY FROM HOME DEPOT MAKE SURE THEY CAN FIND YOUR ADDRESS!!! OR YOU MAY NEVER GET YOUR DELIVERY!

I would give zero stars but I am forced to at least select one. I purchased a refrigerator on Black Friday 2020. It was never delivered. I called in January 2021 and asked about delivery. The rep in major appliances basically blamed the late delivery on Covid. He spoke to me as if I were a bothersome woman that was wasting his time for having the nerve to question the delivery of a nearly $3000 purchase. He said the new delivery would be March 9.

On March 8, I called Home Depot's appliance number because I did not want to talk to "Mr Helpful" again. I was told that Home Depot had a system wide mess up on Black Friday and that my order had fallen through the cracks. The gentleman told me I would have to cancel my order and then reorder. I mentioned that the fridge had risen significantly in price. He assured me he would match the price and give me an additional $150 off for my trouble. I said I could not afford to purchase the item again until I saw the credit to my card. He said I could call back anytime and receive the price match and promised discount.

On March 22, I called again because my order showed no changes. The representative assured me he would cancel and reiterated the original rep's promise of a price match and additional $150 off. On March 26, I finally saw a credit for the purchase made in Nov 2020, (Yes, 4 months after an order that was never completed. I basically gave Home Depot a 4 month interest free loan. I purchased in good faith and Home Depot failed to deliver and frankly did not care.)

After seeing the credit, I naively called to repurchase. After several hours on the phone, home depot REFUSES to follow through on their promises. The refrigerator has jumped over $1000 since I purchased it on Black Friday. I purchased in good faith, home depot failed to deliver, and they continue to screw me over. The last person I spoke with acted as if she were doing me a favor by offering $500 off the current price. She said the manager at the Cinco Ranch Home Depot could not follow through on the promises made because it would hurt his bottom line. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? All I wanted was the refrigerator I purchased on Black Friday. Shame on me for trusting Home Depot. Shame on me for ever stepping foot in this lying, thieving establishment. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this store.

Fair Warning... This is an Opinion. NEVER under any circumstances should you buy an appliance, especially a washer at the Home Depot. Completely incompetent, unprofessional to the point I threw the delivery guy out of my house when he started taking pictures and wanting me to sign for something he did not install.

The story. We bought a new washer online, it said it came with free installation. OK, great. It is being delivered by JB Hunt, not a professional plumber these days... just a delivery company... that they tell me is licensed and qualified to do the install, but they don't want to install... because it is going on the second floor and requires a drain pan to be installed. I had the drain pan there, which simply needed the hole drilled out of the pan and the drain plug screwed in and then put down into the outflow pipe in the floor. Now rightly or wrongly, I assume when they tell me “everything is included, there is nothing I have to do.” I assume that 5-10 minutes is included. It is not.

OK, I’m a little pissed at this point but I tell the driver if he can give me about 10-15 minutes to gather my tools, I can put the drain pan in... I mean I could have done it yesterday or this morning, but “everything is included,” so I hadn't done it. He tells me he don’t have time to wait, he will just leave the machine and I can pay a plumber to do the work. "No," I tell him, "you are supposed to do the install." At that point as he is talking, he pulls out his phone and starts taking pictures of the install area and tells me he will hook it up, but I have to sign a form saying that if it leaks, I will be responsible. Responsible for what? If he puts a hose on wrong or loose, or if the machine is faulty and leaks, I’m going to be responsible?

I tell him I'm not signing anything. He can either hook it up, or take the machine back with him. Instead, he called someone on the phone who told me there was nothing she could do and they needed me to either sign for him to hook it up, or they would just leave the machine there and I need to call a plumber and pay for that. What? Free install? What does that mean? To Home Depot, apparently it means plugging in the machine and screwing two hoses into place. Hoses by the way they required us to buy in addition to the machine, when our old stainless steel hoses would have been just fine.

So because he couldn't wait 10-15 minutes for me to install the drain pan... and as he started once again to take more pictures, I told him to get out of my house and if he took one more picture, I was going to take his phone and literally throw him out... I now considered him trespassing. Did I forget to mention they knocked the pictures off my wall bringing the machine in and didn't even apologize or ask if they were Ok. Luckily for them, the pictures were fine.

After phone calls to Home Depot’s escalation department, I'm told the unit cannot be returned unless it is defective. The word buyer's remorse was used. I don’t have buyer's remorse, I need the washing machine but I want it hooked up like its supposed to be or I want to return it and I'll buy one from a more reputable service company. "Too bad," I'm told. "No returns. Call the local store and talk to the manager," I'm told. So I did that.

That was several hours ago and I still haven’t heard back. No one... not a single solitary soul who I spoke to at Home Depot gives a flying .... about their customers... so I can assure you, I am never setting foot in a Home Depot again. Don’t worry, I have installed the drain pan myself, hooked up the washer and the first load is in. It is all easy enough to do ones self... but that is not the point. No one should have to deal with the ignorance I encountered today... from both the people at JB Hunt Trucking and Home Depot. Consider yourselves warned.

Ordered a Laundry Dryer and asked was it in stock. Was told yes and could deliver in 7 days. They call late night before to tell me it didn't get on the truck, must reschedule. I reschedule, they never call me the day before, so at 8pm I call them, get shifted around then I am told they are waiting for it to come into warehouse, so I will have to reschedule... Different story each time. That was a lie, they did not have product in stock, so the story is still not resolved. Disappointed in Home Depot. Consumer Affairs is likely complicit because they have not given Home Depot a rating, the store has been around for years.

Long Island NY here! Holy God... Home Depot subs out to a local delivery company that has now blew me off on 2 delivery dates!! I bought a Dishwasher. Was supposed to be delivered 3 weeks ago on Saturday 7-11am. I called at 11am. The HD 800# had no idea what happened, the delivery company said they called me to cancel delivery... not true!! Today delivery set 11-3... no show/no call + the delivery company would not answer!! Spent 2 hrs on phone with HD, eventually speaking to corporate they could not get in touch with delivery company. They did nothing... 2 different dates, EXACT same problem and HD has no number to call them!!!! Run away from HD. They could not give any level of support and could not care a less. GO TO LOWE'S, GO TO BEST BUY... read the god awful reviews... stay away from HD!

Don't order a large appliance from Home Depot, unless you take it with you at the time of payment and are capable of installing it yourself. If you decide to let them deliver, plan on being at the upper limit of angry before they leave. After my experience, I'll never buy anything at HD that I can't carry out in a plastic bag. We ordered a Frigidaire electric range and requested delivery on 2/25/2021. The salesman in the store told us very specifically the delivery crew was supposed to inspect, install and verify operations before I accept the order. The crew called 30 minutes before they arrived and said, "We're just dropping it off, right?" I told them what the salesman said they were supposed to do before we accepted the range. They acted like that was the first time they'd every been asked to assemble and plug in an appliance, and acted like they were in a footrace throughout the delivery, asking repeatedly for me to sign the order as delivered.

When I finally insisted they show me how to operate it and verify it was working correctly, I found out they were just furniture carriers and knew even less about the range than I did. They didn't know out how to turn on the various functions or adjust temps, etc., and just started pushing every button they could find until something finally lit up. After they couldn't figure out why the plug didn't fit properly into a freshly installed 220v outlet, I told them to unplug and leave the range in the middle of the kitchen and I would put it in position myself, because as bad as they were trying to make it work, I sure didn't want them trying to make it fit into a tight opening. When I got ready to move it into position (after they left), I noticed the ground pole on the plug was bent.

Fast forward to today, 3/4/2021 when I received a call from a woman at HD wanting to get more info about why I had written their delivery team a bad review. She left a voicemail about 11:30 and I tried to reach her 5 minutes later on the number she had provided. For the next hour, I heard nobody knew how to reach her, had another guy try to help and dropped the call, three more people in succession who assured me they could help and couldn't, and finally at 11:25, was assured by the last non-helpful person that the lady who had originally called would call me back within 15 minutes. After waiting exactly an hour for her 15 minutes to elapse, I called in again -- three times, to get more people who knew nothing and requested the exact same info I had provided to the earlier people who didn't help.

I finally got an alleged supervisor on the line who recited an obviously memorized "apology" and assured me that the bent plug wasn't a safety hazard, completely disregarding all the stuff his delivery crew had pulled. It's obvious HD doesn't hire trained people or train the ones they hire. The only thing MORE obvious is that their whole approach to dealing with dissatisfied customers is to give them a couple minutes of corporate doublespeak and get off the phone even faster than the delivery crew gets out the door. My best advice is if you want to order anything for delivery from HD, go to Lowes and save yourself the headaches.

We ordered a gas range that was to be delivered on 02/18/2021 and they came to deliver it but due to the pending inspection they said that we should reschedule the delivery for another day which then came out to be 02/25/2021 and the guys left with the range. On 02/25/2021 the guys came without the range just for installation, I guess because in their system it was marked as delivered by the guys who came previously, so we were again told that they will deliver it on 02/27/2021 between 10:30am to 2:30pm.

Now on 02/27/2021 since no one showed up by 2:15 pm, I called in the appliance delivery department and they said that the truck is on the way, so while waiting for the truck I saw the same enterprise truck that they came in earlier twice was taking a U turn in front my house and to my surprise they did not stop and drove away. I just moved to my new place couple of weeks ago so do not have security camera installed but can get it from my neighbors to show that the guys did not stop at all. So right after that I called back in the delivery department at 2:30pm to check where they are and the agent said that in the system it was showing as delivered and installed....What???? Even if this has to be true can they do everything (park the truck, unload, place it in the kitchen and install with all safety) in 15 mins? Wow...what a scam!!!

Now another call to an agent and explained everything what happened and they said that the range is missing and they have placed a search order to locate it in their warehouse. So then what was that thing when the previous agent told me that it was delivered and installed!!! Now I cannot even cancel my order to get my $3300 until they find my missing range. Please stay away from Home Depot and buy from manufacturer's website or Lowe's maybe.

Ordered my gas range back in November 2020 but back ordered and won't be delivered till Feb 14th. I received a call on December stating the appliance is delayed and will reschedule for Feb 27. Fast forward to Feb 26, I contacted HD and they confirmed it will be delivered the next day between 7-11am. I waited for the delivery but nothing arrived. I contacted HD and was transferred to delivery company. According to delivery company nothing was scheduled for the 27 and the last note in their system was for the rescheduled delivery from the 14th. At this point I have already removed my old appliance from the kitchen ready to be picked up but now appliance didn't arrive I have no range to cook till the next delivery date 3 weeks from Feb27th. All HD can tell me is we're sorry and we understand your frustration. Never again I will buy anything from HD that would require delivery. Be warned consumers, you'll need a lot of patience with HD delivery services.

Updated on 03/16/2021: Here is my update. Today March 16th I looked at the order status of my refrigerator, since it is suppose to be delivered tomorrow. It says "delivery attempted". Yes, and attempted delivery one day before it was suppose to be delivered. Well Samsung says my refrigerator was sent to the wrong delivery warehouse. Yes, the wrong delivery warehouse. So now Samsung pushed my delivery to April 21st. Why? Because now my refrigerator is on backorder. What about the refrigerator in the wrong warehouse?

So on February 18th I didn't get it because of the weather. On February 25th I didn't get it because the truck broke down. March 17th I won't get it because Samsung sent it to the wrong delivery warehouse. What will their excuse be for April 21st. Hurricane or Flood. Samsung should not be making or selling appliances. And Home Depot Should not be selling Samsung appliances because when the appliances aren't delivered, it is Home Depot who sold it.

Original Review: I ordered a Samsung Refrigerator from Home Depot on November 21st. Home Depot cancelled my order by themselves and thanked me for cancelling it. They cancelled it, not me. I ordered the same Samsung Refrigerator again on December 31st this time using Pay Pal Credit. Home Depot then sent me this "Thank you for your recent Major Appliance order with The Home Depot. Unfortunately, there has been a problem processing your order, and we show you used PayPal for payment. We are unable to reprocess orders using PayPal and as a result, your order has been cancelled. A new order will need to be placed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you." Yes Home Depot cancelled the order again because they cannot "reprocess" orders. What does that mean?

I ordered the same Samsung Refrigerator again on January 2nd, this time paying in full with my Discover Card. This is a backorder so the delivery date is about February 10th. The 10th passes and now I get a delivery date February 18th. On February 17th I get a phone message that says because of weather they have to push the delivery date to February 25. Then I get the delivery window 11am to 3pm February 25th and I wait. At 2:30 I check the status of the delivery and it says "attempted delivery". I waited for a delivery and no one attempted any delivery at my home. No phone call no nothing. I called Home Depot and they were unable to get in touch with delivery. No one answered the phone after me being put on hold for 45 minutes. Yes the girl on the line was trying to help and kept telling me she was still on hold. She told me I would have to reschedule.

I then go to the Farmingdale NY store and an employee called up a higher up working for Home Depot, who told me I would be given "compensation" for my trouble and that now my refrigerator will be delivered this Saturday February 27th. This employee also told me that Home Depot doesn't make deliveries, that they hire local delivery companies to make the deliveries.

So now I think I'm getting a delivery on Saturday but when I get home I get a call from Samsung 855-681-6917. This person tells me the truck broke down and they are rescheduling me for March 17th. I said no, the delivery date is this Saturday and if it isn't delivered I will be cancelling. I hung up without waiting for a response. I call up Home Depot again and they tell me the delivery date is March 17th. That Samsung thought they would have had it in stock and because they didn't they couldn't deliver. She said Samsung appliances are delivered straight from the distributor. So Home Depot has my money since January 2nd and still no refrigerator. So this is what I'm dealing with. I will never again buy a major appliance from Home Depot.

Paid $2500 for a refrigerator. After they missed 2 delivery appointments, they finally showed up on a Sunday. Took my old fridge out and then unwrapped the new one. It was completely caved in on the top. Needless to say, I refused it and asked for a replacement as I couldn't even get the doors open on the new one. It will be 40 days until I can get a replacement. Yes, 40 days. Called manufacturer, and they say they can't have it made for 40 days. They advised I ask Home Depot for a loaner. I have no refrigerator, as my old one has now completely stopped working. Home Depot won't give me a loaner. Told me nothing they can do. Don't buy from Home Depot, in my opinion. They don't care. I am getting my money back and never going to Home Depot again. You have similar issues? Stop patronizing these stores. Go to a small family-owned company. You pay a little more, but it's worth it.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Bought a washer dryer in Dec. Had it delivered on Jan 02. They have a 48 hour return or replace policy if machine doesn't work, I called on Jan 4th machine wasn't working. Was told 7-10 days we would get a replacement someone would call. NOBODY CALLED. Jan 21st called to see what was happening, I was told manufacturer forgot to post replacement order, which is fine. Everybody makes mistakes. All was good until I placed another call 2 weeks later. Same thing happened then another same thing happened. Then I said enough is enough. I don't want a replacement just remove it from my house. They said they had contacted the carrier to pick up. Called the carrier. They have no such order....

Another week has gone by. Called again. Asked to speak to supervisor. Was denied because they are not permitted to pass calls to supervisors. It is now Feb 19th. Almost 2 months have passed. I have no clue when we will get money back or when machine will be taken away. Have sent email to ca_customercare@ homedepot.com hoping to get a response or at the very least an apology for having to spend my only day off washing cloths in a laundry mat during a pandemic with -41 degree weather after spending over $1500 on a machine that doesn't work. DO NOT BUY AT THE HOME DEPOT. As soon as I get my money back IF I GET IT BACK I will be buying from smaller retail business. We get better service and they are grateful for our business.

Updated on 2/17/2021: In my last review, I spoke of the HD response to COVID in that they cut the credit limits on their HD credit card. When that happened I did some research and it happened to a lot of people. So I was about to write them off but they had an incredible washer/dryer sale and I got sucked in. So I bought a Samsung set. I didn't know at the time that HD knew these units were back-ordered. When I bought them on 11/4/20 I was told delivery couldn't be until 12/20/20. And that delivery happened on time except one of the doors on the appliances was smashed. I asked if they could leave the rest and they said no, that HD won't let them install unless it all arrives together. Since then?

I call and get transferred to Samsung with no explanation or courtesy. I had to ask who I was talking to, which department, and why? Next delivery? 1/9/21 a month later because they have none in stock. I bought these units in November. On 1/9/21? I am lied to all day, they are postponed but coming, no really, they on their way, they will be there. Until 7 pm when I get a call that the truck broke down "again" so no delivery.

When they don't deliver you are bumped at least a week. Why? Item is on the truck. I should be first on the next day. I worked in freight forwarding for several years and that was always how it was done. Well not with RES Logistics the delivery service. (Officially called the MDO - market deliver operation as CEO Craig Menear boasted) I call it cheaping out at the expense of the consumer.

I hate this because the more they handle the appliance, the more chance it gets broken. I am promised 1/16/21. The guys come and know nothing about the order. The dryer door needs to be switched I say, "we don't do that" they say. I have a longer dryer cord on order I say, They stack the dryer anyway without testing and now the cord on there is too short and they can't test the dryer. (When I asked at HD about a longer cord, the salesman said they don't have them. But I ordered it online from Home Depot, so why lie and delay me? I could have had it on time for the delivery, but looked elsewhere first.)

The guys did what they could but didn't even test the dryer or hook up the steam hose. It was obvious they didn't have training for this. I get the cord and try the dryer, it doesn't work. I call an electrition to test the new cord, and my plug (4 prong) before calling HD again. He says it's all fine the problem is in the dryer. So I call again. When you call the Online Contact Center you might get a person. But apparently, if they are busy, they just pick and hang up the phone. This happened to me 4 times. 4!

Since then another delivery postponement. New delivery 2-16-21- then a call Monday 2-15-21 to confirm delivery. I ask for a time frame because I have to ask to leave work AGAIN to mee the delivery and I'm worried we have a storm predicted. the girl on the phone was not interested and I said we always get a time frame. Her response? "If you can control the weather I can tell you when your delivery will be." I lost it and demanded a supervisor. She said that I sounded upset and she was hanging up. I had to actually tell her not to hang up the phone and had to demand a supervisor 3 more times before she got one.

Bethany **, the supervisor told me she would deal with the girl (which I am not sure I believe) and that I had to call the Online Contact Center. Got a very nice man on the phone Paul who tried to help. But the bottom line is you are held hostage by what HD wants and what RES Logistics does. I can't say either is overly concerned with what I want.

So of course a short while before the delivery (9th on the list between 3 and 7 during an ice storm) their automated system calls and cancels. When will this happen again? Oh, they'll get back to me within 48 hours. I donated my units to a family unemployed by covid with kids in the house. So HD is holding us all hostage. Five delivery attempts and two broken units. Topped off with, delivery men who need more training, (and I bet much better pay) one nasty calling agent, and one semi-capable supervisor.

I tried to find these Samsung units anywhere else. Or at least the dryer and couldn't. But I don't see myself patronizing this store much more often. Home Depot won't care either. Until I convince the owner of the four companies I manage to drop his 3 HD commercial accounts which total an average of 20 - 30K a month in expenditures.

But you know what? They won't care then either. Craig has his. And the consumers? They will continue to be held hostage all for the want of an appliance that shouldn't have been promised in the first place. Someone said go to the laundry mat. Right. I'm high risk and have concerns about the expense and risk of a laundry mat. No one should have to wrestle over such things during a pandemic. Craig, you and your team of wealthy executives and your money-saving delivery people at RES Logistics should be ashamed of what you do to loyal patrons.

Original review: Last year at the start of COVID things were pretty scary. Home Depot did their part by sending me a letter that my HD credit card with them now had a reduced credit limit. I didn't owe them any money at the time and I know my previous payment record was perfect thanks to online bill pay. I can only imagine they didn't want people who might lose their jobs due to covid to run up charges and then default. I would say that is a fair concern but to swipe a broad, indifferent brush at your long time (over 30+ years in my case), loyal customers, out of distrust really made me take another look at Lowe's.

So how does that happen exactly? Does your Executive board have a BBQ at one of their mansions sitting around in their designer high ticket khakis drinking good wine and jointly decide that the consumers - the foundation of their entire empire deserves a kick in the butt during one of the worse pandemics we've ever seen in our lifetimes? I swore not to buy from them again but did get snookered into a purchase which is the next post I am making today.

I ordered a Samsung refrigerator at Home Depot in Madera California on November 14, 2020. It Was Scheduled To Be Delivered December 23, 2020. The day of delivery came and I did not receive any text/email/call to notify my appliance would not be delivered, I called Home Depot and the date was changed and it would be delivered January 5, 2021, well that date came and once again I didn’t receive a phone call to say it was set for a different date for the 3rd time this time saying it would be delivered February 15, 2021, that’s 3 whole months since I placed my order, mind you my refrigerator has been leaking water and it’s now staining my carpet. Well February 15 comes and once again they can’t even call me to notify it has been pushed back once again. At this point I’m frustrated!

I call customer care and I ask for my refund. They tell me they are processing the return to go in stores to receive my refund. I go in store for the second time trying to get it figured out just to be told I have to wait 24-72 hours, after multiple phone calls and 4 different delivery dates I am told if I cancel my order I am not eligible for compensation! I’ve wasted hours on phone calls with different people. Nobody seems to take accountability. Home Depot blames Samsung for changing the dates and there’s nothing they can do! So why are they selling products they cannot take accountability for?

I finally decided to cancel my ordered and now I lost out on time and money because I’ve been paying interest on my credit card I used to purchase this and I will not be getting that back! I cried of frustration because they were quick to take my money which was almost $2,500. I would at least like a gift card or something for all my time, gas and money wasted because they couldn’t get it delivered to me.

Bought GE Washer and Dryer. Delivered 11/23. Washer broken. Redelivered 12/11. Dryer not installed properly. More heat and lint in laundry room than in machine. Washer not wringing out clothes. Dryer taking 1 1/2 hour to dry 5 towels. My 10 year old machine did in about 25 minutes. Set online appointment and they never showed up. 42 minutes to speak with a real person to get an appointment for next week. Terribly disappointed. Next time, I'll go to Lowes or Best Buy!

I went online and paid for by credit card a full set of appliances 11/11/20. I was informed that my delivery date was 3 months later 1/29/21. OK COVID is happening, there are issues, it's not great I have to pay IN FULL that far ahead, but these are different times! 3 days before delivery, I receive an automated message saying my delivery date has changed to 3/5/21.

I called to ask why this had happened and why I was notified so late, and was told simply it was on backorder and I was free to change the date. Upon asking if it was going to be delivered on 3/5 they said they can't guarantee that, so I naturally asked what the point was if I changed the date or not!!! They claimed that this is their policy for backorder items and then LIED by saying they hadn't charged me yet anyway, which is wrong, they took the money from my credit card the day of. So I am still out over $3,000 without any date by when I will get my appliances. Their answer is "Tough, you can cancel if you want" - customer service at its worst! I always believed they prided themselves on putting their customers first, but in this case, they are the lowest of the low!

First time purchasing appliances from this big box store and it was a complete nightmare. My washer and dryer was delivered on NYE. The next day, after running a full cycle, we found out the washer had a leak coming out of the door. New Year’s Day was a holiday so we didn’t call until the next day. Because we waited more than 48 hrs to call And report the problem, Home Depot said there is nothing we can do and we need to go through the manufacturer. After multiple attempts to get it serviced through GE, I now have a $2000 washer (and dryer) in my home that is still not working. HORRIBLE Customer Service at HD, they just lost a customer. Not that they care one bit.

They do not tell you only have 48 hours to report problems/defects. They also do not tell you the installation is on a separate day than delivery. By the time you can get someone out for installation the window has passed and they are no longer responsible, that’s when you can’t return and have to deal with manufacturers.

Purchased a dishwasher online at Home Depot Canada. Was informed it was coming on the 23rd between 8:00 to 12:00. They would call 30 minutes before arrival. No call, nothing. I understand due to COVID delays are possible and was warned upfront. I text their helpline who checked on the order and was told they attempted to deliver early in the morning. I was home, no calls, I checked my phones for calls, nothing. OK so now we are playing the “blame the customer routine”. Ok so I asked when can they deliver? Next scheduled delivery is 5 days from the 23rd making it the 28th.

They were adamant no earlier. I told them to cancel the sale. I will get it elsewhere. Home Depot refunded my money almost instantaneously. I went online and purchased the same item from Best Buy. 2 hours later I get a call from a 3rd party transport company stating they are ready to deliver. Told the guy, "Sorry Home Depot stated Jan 28 is the next time slot." I was not going to wait 5 days. So the HD person did not check with shipping company on status, was giving incorrect information, but did refund very quick. Strange business model.

We ordered a LG washer and Dryer set on-line to be delivered on 1/16/21. All went well through delivery. Wish it ended there. Later that day, we started wash and when we used the dryer for the the first load we heard a rubbing noise that intermittently got louder and softer. We immediately (the same day as delivery) called the home appliance issue line 800-455-3869 that they required us to report defects/damages within 48 hours of delivery. This is where it all went downhill. Apparently, Home Depot (HD) must report any damages/defects reported in the 48 hour window to LG so that defects are addressed by the manufacturer and not HD. First of all, very wrong of HD! I didn't direct buy from LG. I made a purchase with HD.

As a customer, I don't care where you get your credit from. I just want a smooth process that gets results from the store I purchased it from. I should not in anyway know what is going on behind the scenes with your relationship with LG. Deal with your exchange paperwork behind the scenes. However, I am now in manufacturer/3rd party delivery...! You get the picture. After calling once and being put on hold with no update, I hung up and called back. The person on the phone said they needed to have someone come out and look at the dryer and that the earliest was one week away. Really? Well after requesting to speak to a supervisor, I agreed as long as the dryer that I would continue to use would be swapped out because I do not want to be made to keep a dryer that was delivered defective and would possibly be made worse during a week of use. I was assured this would not be the case.

I also asked who EXACTLY was coming out to my house again. I wanted to be assured these were appliance repair personnel who could assess the situation and not delivery guys to waste my time. I did not want to have 2 delivery guys walk in and look at it and say, "Yup, these are installed good. You have a defect." I could clearly tell these were installed ok and that the drum was making a noise internally. The person on the phone confirmed these were appliance repair specialists that were capable of working on dryers. So skip a week ahead and who walks through my door.... 2 delivery guys!! Just as I predicted, they looked at the dryer externally and listened to the drum and said you have a defect it was installed fine. Do you think at this point I am one big happy customer? NO.

You know HD, my time is worth a pretty penny too. I was told to call the same number once again to let them know that the DELIVERY people said the install was good and we have a defect and to ask for a replacement. So I called the same number again.... Of course this rep tells me to please hold as she contacts LG. ONE HOUR and 45 MINUTES on hold and she comes back to tell me that LG is not agreeing to the replacement. I said I waited almost 2 hours for you to tell me that. That the largest home supply company can't manage a process of an appliance swap for a defective appliance delivered and reported on the same day!!!!

I asked why and to this she states that they do not have record of my calling within the 48 time frame. Funny... How would I have a re-check appt. just completed at my house and why does the paperwork that the guy just handed me state I called on the same day of delivery to let them know the dryer was making bad noises. Why do I have to know that LG is not agreeing? I do not care. I bought my product from HD. Let HD deal with this. HD needs to make the customer experience seamless. On their website it clearly states the 48 hour defect/damage requirement. I followed it but too bad HD does not know how to manage it. So once again I asked to speak to a supervisor.

When the supervisor gets on the phone she proceeds to tell me that reviewing the details she sees that the delivery guys have contacted LG and that LG is expected to contact me within 48 hours to schedule a replacement of the dryer. What?! I was just told a different story 2 MINUTES ago. Clearly this process is so badly in need of an overhaul. How can I now be at the mercy of LG and waiting for them to call me? I should not be involved with LG at all! SO this is how it ends for now. I am waiting.... hopeful to get a call from LG within 48 hours of today 1/23. I will not hold my breath as this whole simple appliance purchase has wasted so much of my time. What is even more sad is that I am getting ready to buy an oven, microwave, and dishwasher... I guess it is time to look elsewhere because I will not subject myself to this again. Service has to be at the forefront and better processes and training need to happen.

Ordered new range from Home Depot online January 8th. Was told it would be delivered January 20/2021. Then received a call saying it was back ordered until March 15. I understand there is a problem with appliance orders due to COVID but not sure why they are able to charge me in full 3 months in advance of receiving the appliance. I can understand them getting a deposit but payment in full? When I called Customer Service you can guess the type of disinterest I was met with. Basically offered to refund my money but would be off the wait list for the appliance I wanted.

What is really frustrating with this, is that I was looking for a very specific range. I did my research online to find out who carried it and whether they had one in stock. EVERYONE of HD competitors showed they were currently out of stock, expecting delivery mid March. BUT Home Depot showed they had stock and could deliver January 20. This a completely misleading and unethical business practice! They get you to place the order and say you have to PAY IN FULL for the product and they know damn well isn't in stock. Then they tell you might get it two months from now but absolutely no guarantee! Absolutely ridiculous! Will not be buying an appliance from Home Depot again. And looking at various forums, I am not the only one!

On January 5, I ordered a washing machine from Home Depot which was supposed to be delivered on January 8. To make a long story short, the delivery driver claimed he couldn't find my address (I even went looking for him) and so the washer wasn't delivered. I then contacted Home Depot and canceled the order. I then ordered a washer from Lowes and it was delivered on January 9.

Since then I have called Home Depot Customer Service every few days to inquire about my refund. On January 13, Home Depot sent me an email giving me a "case number" and that my refund request was being evaluated. On January 18, I received an automated call from Tempco Logistics informing me that the washer (the one canceled from Home Depot) would be delivered tomorrow. I immediately contacted Home Depot Customer Service who again confirmed that my order had indeed been canceled but that no one had bothered to inform the delivery company. I have now spent over an hour on hold with Tempco.

DO NOT EVER order appliances from Home Depot unless you can walk out the door with them. Ordered in October 2020, found out early January 2021 that they actually had NOT ordered the fridge (their explanations up that point was that it was "back ordered". Four hours of dealing with Head Office and only resolution was refund of our money...and we got the fridge and deepfreeze from Trail Appliances the next day. Lots of excuses, lots of blaming, and even the suggestion from on Customer Service Rep that we "consider going to the Brick" to get the Fridge and Deepfreeze!

Ordered my dryer in Nov, scheduled delivery was for 1/6/21 as it would not be in stock earlier. I wanted a plain, mechanical controlled dryer, not anything fancy. My husband and I both took off from work to be home. They either went to the wrong home or did not bother to come to the door and ring doorbell to let us know they were here. I did see a truck pull in front of my neighbour's house across the street and went out to check. It was not there for even 30 seconds before it drove away! NO attempt to contact us! I have a security cam, and it shows NO ONE CAME TO OUR DOOR! The delivery window was until 6 pm, but when I called at 4:15, the drivers had already GONE HOME! We were their last stop, and they OBVIOUSLY wanted to go home EARLY!!!

Called to complain, all they can do is reschedule, not a help as I had my current one sold and the person coming to pick it up today. Called Home Depot too, let them know what had happened. I was considering hiring HD for several large renovations we are going to have done, but won't consider it now. If they can't even hire delivery people with enough common sense to get out of the truck and go to the door, I can only imagine what morons they would send to do renovations! Their loss? Probably 40 to 50K. Will hire someone local!

I bought over $9000 worth of appliances from Joe at the Home Depot in King of Prussia. My credit card was charged in full for the items, but alas, it was pure HELL getting delivery of these items that were sitting in their delivery warehouse from the beginning of December 2020 to January 2021. We had agreed that I would get delivery of the items as they came. So Joe gave me 4 delivery dates spread throughout December 2020. As each delivery was confirmed by phone by RAI (their Allentown delivery branch), I confirmed the dates and made sure the entire day was free for these people to bring my appliances.

On each delivery morning I got a phone call from Allentown delivery saying that their truck broke down. Then they would reschedule and the same excuse of the truck breaking down was used each time! What's worse is that they documented in their notes that THE CLIENT RESCHEDULED and used that as the reason for not delivering. When they did this for the 4th delivery scheduled, I told them I didn't believe they'd ever come. They URGED ME TO ACCEPT A SUNDAY JANUARY 3rd 2021 delivery and I accepted and waited all Sunday from 7am in the morning. No trucks came, and I called their delivery number and no one picked up because the recording said they were closed.

I called Joe at the King of Prussia Home Depot and informed him. He reported it to a manager by the name of Nicole, who was supposed to call me. Nicole never called back, not even on Tuesday the 5th. I also got a phone call Monday 4th from Terry of the Allentown delivery department, apologizing for the truck not showing up on Sunday due to bad weather (which it was not bad weather that day!). She tried to make me reschedule, but I told her I was sick and tired of this and that I was going to let my Home Depot know about what they were doing.

Meanwhile, Terry informed Home Depot that the truck did come to my house on Sunday, and that I was not there!!!! I went to Home Depot on Tuesday 5th to schedule a delivery date ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THEY SCHEDULED ME ON THE 7th and 8th of January without my knowledge!!!! They are also threatening to send my appliances back to GE! And Home Depot is now accusing me of letting items sit in the warehouse for a month. They also have chosen their own delivery dates without my approval on days when I will not be available. I have wasted 5 ENTIRE DAYS ON DELIVERIES THAT NEVER CAME and now I am being told my items are being sent back if I don't accept those delivery dates. I have never experienced such despicable, shady behavior from any company I've purchased from. I would never go to HOME DEPOT again.

After 2 attempted installations of a Bosch 100 Dish Washer, it remains uninstalled and unresolved. Home Depot uses third party contractors and nobody wants to take any responsibility for not having parts or qualified people to complete what you pay for when you purchase the appliance. They allowed me to pay for installation and parts for the installation and are now telling me that I need to have a contractor come to my home to install an outlet for a dishwasher that can be installed with an outlet or hardwired. I have spent more than an hour being bounced around and given different number to call, but at this point this remains unresolved.

We resolved issue ourselves. Home Depot delivered new refrigerator after numerous complaints. Home Depot of Madera did their best with little support from corporate office.

We bought LG Counter Depth Refrigerator and after 53 days of use, Broke down, no power to unit. Took LG 19 days and 3 missed appointments to tell us unit is Unrepairable due to Mother Board Defective. Instead of requesting a Replacement Refrigerator, which would have Prioritized our concerns and order, Home Depot was instructed by LG to Credit Defective unit and place a new order, which placed us last in Line. Ours broke down 10/28/20. Home Depot reordered 11/20/20, promised delivery date 1/25/2021. Unbelievable- Appears Home Depot has no creditability with LG and allows LG to control Home Depot. Very apparent that Home Depot just wants to sell LG Products and not take care of their customers. True also with LG, which has the worse Customer Service Department we ever dealt with and Home Depot is following in LG footsteps.

We have asked Home Depot to upgrade and track our order. Home Depot was more interested in getting their Credit on Our Defective Unit and when we asked about our replacement unit when they requested label for defective unit, was told have to wait until 1/25/21 and Home Depot did not follow up, as Promised. LG and Home Depot have pushed our anxiety to a new level. If Home Depots sells LG or any other other products, they need to Assure and Reassure Customers that they back up the products they sell and not give us a run around and excuses to protect LG. Home Depot would rather upset a Loyal Customer than upset LG. Terrible Customer Service Process, Which is great for LG. We do not recommend Home Depot for Appliances until they have more control of Customers Concerns/Dispute Process Through Vendors and make Home Depot Customers More Important than a Vendor.

We use Home Depot a lot so this review is for their large appliance department. We took advantage of the sales on July 4th and ordered 3 LG brand kitchen appliances online, after looking at the models at the local store. We ordered on July 7th and were told the items would be available on Aug 30. Then the delivery date was revised to Sept 30, and then Oct 30, and then Dec 4 almost 5 months after the purchase. The three items come in Dec and we are told the dishwasher would need a separate install appointment due to the need for a plumber. That install happened on Dec 14. The delivery and installation were flawless, but communication by Home Depot on the install procedures was non-existent. Just wanting folks to beware if you need your appliances soon. We didn't do it wasn't too bad but 5 months wait is a bit much even during COVID.

We purchased a new refrigerator from Home Depot in Tulsa, OK, on September 26, 2020. It was an LG 20 cu ft refrigerator with an ice-maker. The refrigerators were not in stock, and they informed us that delivery would be made in December 2020. We were fine with that. In early December, we were notified the refrigerator would be delivered the very next day. We live in a high-rise condominium building in downtown Tulsa, so we had to schedule a delivery time window and reserve the loading dock--which we did.

The delivery company (Linn Star Transfer) called the next day to say they would deliver in 20 minutes. I explained to the driver EXACTLY how to contact security on arrival and where the loading dock would be. A few minutes later, the dispatcher for the delivery company called to say the driver was waiting and reported that the loading dock was blocked by another truck. Further, the driver would only remain for just a few more minutes. Along with security, I frantically ran all over the building campus, looking for the delivery truck to guide them to the proper dock. Before we could find them, we were informed that they had left.

A subsequent check of the security video footage fails to show ANY commercial vehicle ANYWHERE on our campus at all. The transfer company doesn't answer the phone, and we become concerned about where our refrigerator is now. Contacting Home Depot, they helpfully give us another number for the delivery ... which rings up an exceptionally rude person who informs us that the refrigerator is in their warehouse and would be delivered sometime when things slow down.

After a week or so of combative conversations with Home Depot, the Linn Star Transfer, and the Home Depot Corporate office, we decided to shop at a local retailer to find a better refrigerator in stock for less money. My wife then proceeds to Home Depot to request a refund...since the refrigerator is now nowhere to be found. On return, she brings a partial refund of $153 to explain that the balance of the money (the cost of the refrigerator and delivery) would come from Linn Star Transfer if, and when, LG approves the return. I stare at her in utter disbelief.

Ten more days go by without a refund. Contacts with Home Depot result in "deeply concerned" management people who promise to "get to the bottom of all this and call us back with a resolution.." No calls are ever returned. Finally, we call the store manager and layout our case: 1. We purchased--in good faith--a refrigerator from Home Depot. 2. We waited patiently for the delivery. 3. Home Depot failed to make the delivery in a timely manner. 4. We asked Home Depot for a refund of our purchase price. The manager explains there is nothing that can be done.

I explain further: 1. We did not hire the transfer company, which now has our money and the refrigerator. 2. We paid our money to Home Depot. And, it is to Home Depot we are looking for the refund. 3. Home Depot hired their own delivery company. We did not contract with the delivery company. 4. We do not control or supervise the delivery people or vendors for Home Depot. 5. We need a refund immediately. If Home Depot has to wait for the refund from the vendor/delivery people, that is their issue. Yeah. All we get from Home Depot is crickets.

I ordered a Samsung laundry set (Included stacking Kit) from Home Depot. They dropped off a brand new dryer and washing machine. They did not install it because the drainage pipe was not big enough for the new machine. After this, they dropped off the machines in my garage and left without checking the machine. The new installation date was 2 weeks after they had dropped the machine off.

Once they came back to install the machine again, we had found that the power cord was broken and the pins came off. They had not checked the machine’s functionally or told me about the warranty when they arrived the first time. They had once left again and I had to call Home Depot’s customer service. They had told me they could not help me and I had to contact Samsung customer support. It took me over two hours on both holds and transfers to finally arrange a repair of the cord. They also told me that Home Depot install crews was supposed to inform me about the 48-hour time period in where I had to call back if the machine was damaged or not working. I feel this is (SCAMMED from Home Depot and Samsung) However, Home Depot had failed to mention this when they had dropped of the machine to my house.

After the technician repaired my machine, Home Depot had used a third party to install my machines. This itself was a disaster. The “professionals” that had arrived had limited knowledge about the installation and my son had to direct them into installing the machines. It would have been easier to install them myself if I knew these were the people that were going to install my machine. Please stay away from Home Depot when you are buying and installing new things. They are not professionals when it comes to this and will amount to just stress and worrying.

Home Depot does not explain that a 3 year extended warranty starts when purchase is made, on top of mfgs one year warranty. My freezer needs repaired the first two months and I have to call the mfg because HDs warranty only takes care of power surge the first year. This warranty is a scam.

Purchased the 30 inch Cosmo oven easy to install and very nice. The cost was our decision to purchase the double wall oven. Home Depot was very easy to work with in this day and time double wall ovens are not in store we ordered sight unseen. The order was filled in three weeks expected in this covid time. You will need to purchase a male plug and install very easy task to complete. Doors are easy to remove which we like for easy cleaning. Would I purchase from Home Depot and another Cosmo Appliance yes because it is American made!

Bought a KitchenAid refrigerator 1 1/2 yrs. ago, with a 5-yr. extended service agreement. Three weeks ago it stopped cooling or making ice. I called the Home Depot Protection number and was told I was still under the manufacturer's warranty and should call Whirlpool for service. The earliest appt. I could get was 2 wks. later. When the serviceman showed up, he said the manufacturer's warranty was only 1 yr. This went back and forth for a day and my refrigerator has still not been serviced, now 3 wks. later, while I run to the store for ice everyday. I'm still waiting for a promised service call.

I purchased through Home Depot a Samsung washer and dryer and the extended warranty protection plan. My dryer's heater stopped functioning November 2nd 2020, today is December 1st 2020 and I am still without the dryer. They take forever to give appointments because they hire terrible local companies. I called November 4th to check and they gave me an appointment for November 30th!! Unacceptable..., then they came with the wrong part, of course because they are totally incompetent, now they are saying the part is already at the local company but they don't have anybody available to come install it for another week. In the meantime I have been spending hundreds of dollars on wash and fold, I also have been spending countless hours on the phone with them which is so frustrating, PLEASE DON'T PAY FOR THE PLAN, if you are purchasing buy the extended warranty directly with SAMSUNG.

I ordered a electric stove and it was supposed to be delivered November 27th. Not only was it not delivered but I received a call that it was back ordered. I called and the lady said it would not be delivered until January 6th. I had to call back and reorder because the computers were down for one day. Now it’s December 16th.

I ordered a dishwasher online and paid for it to be installed. When the delivery driver showed up he started to uninstall my old dishwasher. He then told me that he couldn't do it because there was a lip on the floor. He said that he could leave the new dishwasher but that was it. I said, "Let me call my wife and see what she thinks." Before I was finished with that call the guy left. He didn't even reinstall my old dishwasher. He just left. Shame on Home Depot for this behavior. When you called to complain about this and request my money back the call center person said that she didn't do refunds and gave my wife a phone number. She said press option 2. When she did it just said goodbye and hung up on her. This was totally unacceptable from a major corporation. I would give them zero stars if I could. My recommendation is go to Lowe's.

I ordered my appliances in Sept and the first available delivery was not until November. Then, the delivery was scheduled 1pm to 4pm but they didn't show up until almost 8pm. They also did not install my dishwasher even though it was paid for and on the order. Had to reschedule for dishwasher install for the next week, but they didn't call or show up AT ALL. I called and complained but they told me to "call back tomorrow to find out what happened". Absolutely terrible and do not buy appliances from Home Depot.

BUYERS BE AWARE! Home Depot has the worst delivery and installation services. I bought two LG washers: a Mega washer and a sidekick washer. The delivery workers did NOT install the washers correctly by following the installation manuals. According to the manuals, the Mega washer needs to be secured on top of the sidekick washer by installing 4 screws to each of four sides. However, the workers just put screws to the left side and the right side only. They skipped the work and not to put screws to the front side and the back side.

They also took away most of the accessory parts that were included in the washers WITHOUT my permission and acknowledgment. They NEVER asked me if I wanted to keep the parts. They took away a Detergent Dispenser, an Elbow Bracket, two Wrenches, four Shipping Bolts for Mega washer, and all Non-skid Pads. These parts all had a total value of $100. I called immediately after the delivery workers left and requested them to return the parts to me, but they did not answer my call.

Worse comes to the worst, I called and tried to file complaints to Home Depot and LG customer services. Both of them did not want to take my complaints. They just reroute my calls back to the Home Depot’s delivery contractor. No help. Home Depot, you should do business with delivery contractors who will be professional and have integrity. My advice to Home Depot customers: Tell the delivery workers that you want to keep all the accessory parts you have paid for.

WE purchased a LG dishwasher and and a 5 year warranty. After 18 months the dishwasher is really hard to start. You have to slam the door really hard. Filed a claim four weeks ago and still nothing is fixed. I we get is a run around between Asurion and LG. Also the dishwasher is really poor quality even though it is close to top of the line. Very disappointing.
