Ordered Dishwasher. Delivery person carried it on back. Tried to enter my house when I said garage only. Said give him 195 cash and he will install. I declined. He left. Contractor came to put in and Dishwasher is dented. Home Depot has given not help. No credit. Not replacement. I was a loyal home depot customer for years. All my appliances were from here. My cabinets and flooring. They don't care about customers that have been loyal to them.

I purchased a Maytag washer and dryer showing I had 90 days to return, if financed. When I tried to return within 2 weeks, I was told only had 2 days. I will never buy appliances from Home Depot. I'm stuck with bad washer and dryer. Don't buy Maytag. They're not as once was.

Purchased a washer and dryer set. Got rescheduled twice due to poor communication on the delivery team's part. I kept in contact with customer service to make sure delivery instructions were clear due to delivery address being on a military installation. Delivery team still failed after the 2nd attempt for the same reason even as we were in contact with the gate guards to keep everyone in the loop of what was going on. Delivery team didn't even attempt to approach the gate as per gate guards who were already aware of the situation. I attempted to meet them @ the gate but the delivery team wasn't there and gate guards informed me no delivery trucks ever approached the gate.
After their 2nd failed attempt to deliver, they tried to reschedule me for a 3rd time but I wasn't going to keep wasting my time and plans for their failures. We had to cancel the whole order because no one on the delivery team was offering anything helpful to the situation or what could be changed to complete the order even after providing them detailed delivery instructions. They just kept pushing back my delivery. So disappointing and a waste of time.

I have been going round and round between LG Home Depot and SquareTrade (extended warranty company) in regards to an LG oven that doesn't heat properly can't brown a meatloaf or crisp a pie crust and as of last night can't crisp French fries even in convection mode. Home Depot keeps sending me in circles with LG and square trade to only be denied at every turn. The 2 times LG service techs were here they said when it says it's preheated wait another 20 minutes before putting anything in the oven. Can't speak with the same person twice at square trade having explain everything over and over.

The refrigerator never showed up. Not at 1:00 PM. Not at 3:00. Not at any point during the afternoon. I finally called Home Depot customer service, and after being transferred around, I was told the delivery would arrive by 10:00 PM. So I waited — again — all evening. But once again, Home Depot never showed.
This is absolutely unacceptable. For Home Depot to charge premium prices and then fail to meet even the most basic customer commitment is outrageous. The lack of integrity, the lack of communication, and the lack of accountability from Home Depot are infuriating. I wasted an entire day because Home Depot couldn’t manage to honor a simple delivery appointment or even provide an update. Home Depot, this is a complete failure of customer service and professionalism. I am deeply disappointed and angry at how cavalierly you treated a paying customer. Shame on Home Depot for displaying such total disregard for honesty and respect toward the people who keep your business running.

I am writing you to express our extreme displeasure with your Springfield, MO store and how they and their third party delivery service treat your customers. We purchased a dryer costing $696.12 including a delivery fee on February 28, 2026. We had to wait a week for delivery. After waiting all day, we received a phone call saying it wasn’t going to be delivered and we now have to wait 3 more days for this delivery.
The delivery company made no effort at customer service just telling us it would be Tuesday and they didn’t know when. Monday was not an option nor was even being told we would be made the first delivery to at least make up for some of the inconvenience. We find this totally unacceptable especially after calling the store to explain the problem and only being told there was nothing they could do. At this point you have lost me as a customer and I will make sure I relay this sorry episode on every social media platform I can along with every person I know every day I can.

I purchased a deep freezer, stove, refrigerator on January 16th 2026. The total was over 3000 dollars.The first deliver was returned due to stove had glue on top of the burners and the fridge had a scratch on the bottom of it and the workers it said they couldn't get it in the door. So the next day I went back to the store. Ordered the same stove and fridge. It was delivered like three weeks later. The stove did not work and the refrigerator was was really scratch up bad so. The workers said they would put in for a replacement. Called customer service and advised the stove did not work. She put in for a replacement which was suppose to be delivered on February 13th so I took the day off. The stove was never delivered. I got a call from a delivery rep at 830 pm saying they where running behind. So by 10pm I called customer service and I was told my delivery has been rescheduled.
If I had not called I would not have known. So rep scheduled the stove to come on February 28th with the refrigerator. Stove and refrigerator delivered. The refrigerator look like they removed from someone's home. It was damaged. Know another refrigerator has been ordered. I was so upset I called customer service and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was transfered to the escalation department where I spoke with A rep and advised with all the trouble I'm requesting my refrigerator at no cost. Since we have been dealing with this since January 16th. She advised she can't do that. She offered me 25% then 35% then 1000.00 off. Mind you the refrigerator is damaged to begin with. So I would still end up paying about 700 for a damaged refrigerator. I ask to speak to her supervisor. She advised her supervisor does not take calls. I put her on hold too and when I came back to the call she had hung up and the survey was on the line.
I ended the call and called back. The customer service rep tried to get me reconnected with her. And she advised she was on another call. Mind you I have already made a payment on the stove and refrigerator. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. And new delivery is scheduled for this Saturday the 7th of March. I will never buy any appliances from Home Depot ever again. Some photos are attached.

I purchased a Whirlpool washer and dryer 12/24, the day after Thanksgiving of 2025 the dryer stopped working, I called the store on Camelback and 99th. They told me to call the location I purchased the items from. Took me almost a week to reach someone, left messages with no reply, finally I speak to someone who give me a number to call l, I am to this day unable to reach anyone, when I call the answering service lets you know there is a 20-30 min wait time and at 20 mins the phone is disconnected. I finally had a day off and went to the location I purchased on 91st Ave and Peoria, spoke to someone in appliances who took my information. Said they will have the manager call me. Still waiting. In the meantime time I am without my dryer. Hanging clothes on my couches to dry.

Received a new Electrolux washer and it seemed smooth, until there were a few noises when they turned it on. The noises stopped and they said not to worry, and everything seemed fine. We left for vacation early the next morning. When we came back and washed clothes, the machine shook violently shaking the house and there was a loud knocking noise. I thought maybe the machine was not leveled properly. The excuse the installers gave was that the floor was uneven. I called the Electrolux service department; they sent someone out within a few days. The first thing he did was push down on the drum and he knew right away that they failed to remove the Styrofoam packing material. He removed it and leveled the machine since it was not close to being level. I brought the foam to our local Home Depot in Poulsbo and complained about the installation a few days ago. I have not heard from them since. Hopefully Electrolux bills them and they get paid.

Bought a GE 5 burner gas range, from the get-go no adjustment works on flame. Some are high, center grill is super low. Oven is uneven. After 48 hours I'm on my own. No help from HOME DEPOT. As I want to return it. GE service is completely incompetent, Tech fails to show up. Parts are lost somewhere.

We purchased a GE high-end washer and dryer on 12/8/25. After it was installed, the washer leaked. After 4 attempts at fixing it, we demanded a new machine. We were put through hell. UPDATE 1/25/26: we were told at the beginning of the week that we would finally be receiving a new washing machine. Yeh!! He believed there was only one in stock, but he would have it delivered today. When my husband spoke with him again, he said that no, there are no machines in stock, so we may have to wait till the beginning of February.
He let us know that we may get notifications of the delivery for today, even though it’s not going to happen. We did get those notices, and just to make 100% sure, I called the delivery line and was told yes, they were delivering the washer today (thank God we were home). When the deliverers arrived, they went in and began to take apart the old machine, and then went outside to take the new machine out of the truck and out of the box.
When my husband reminded them that there is the riser to be reattached to the new machine, they said they won’t do that. We immediately called their delivery service line, and she spoke with her supervisor, who said yes, they were told to put the riser on. They continue to refuse to do it and refused to talk to us. We had their representative on the phone, so we offered to hand them the phone so they could speak with her, and they refused. They continued to refuse to speak with us and started the truck up and threw the washer back into the truck without putting it back in the box. After going back and forth trying to talk to them multiple times, they left. Since they had started to take the old machine apart, now we have no access to the laundry room because they’ve left it in the middle of the room and the hoses are unattached. Now we have to wait until 2/13 to get the new machine.

A horrible experience. A month after purchase still waiting for a fridge to be delivered. Complete incompetence. No one should purchase appliances from Home Depot. The delivery crew showed up 3 times so far & came up w excuses every time passing the buck to the next incompetent crew!

I had bought a refrigerator out of Home Depot in Bensalem store. When they delivered it to my home they took the bottom door and took his knee and put a dent in the door and ripped the gasket on both sides of the door. At first I had to call and get the gasket replaced for the door. It was later I seen what he done to the door with his knee with the dent in the door. After that I would never buy anything from that store. When it came to an appliance it was hard to see the dent because the refrigerator was black in color.

Purchased new Samsung Bespoke microwave from Home Depot. I was lucky I decided to get the book out and noticed underneath the books the turntable which was glass was broken. Called HomeDepot and they sent a 2nd Microwave which the turntable was not broken and the color was correct. I can't lift the microwave and it was 8-days later that once the microwave was removed it has a deep dent in the back on the right side (looking from front view) and also the whole side is bowed out.
Called HD and said too bad, 48-hours is up. Called Samsung said too bad that is cosmetic damage referred me to HD as that is who is responsible. 3-months later after calling the credit card, they denied to refund my $435.81, and I still have no microwave. Credit Card (called no on back of card goes to HD resolution) will try someone else at Credit Card company, as HD resolution said I signed paper agreeing that the microwave was ok. Well, he said sign showing he delivered it to me. The defect is hidden. Heard Lowes is doing the 48-hour policy too.
The microwave is damaged possibly health hazard with the caved in side is where the radiation and working components are located. Per Samsung only an authorized tech can touch the microwave and they refuse to send anyone out unless i send in pictures. I took them but live in the mountains and they would not go through to them. Will not purchase anything from HD again and Samsung just lost a customer also. I will take a beating on my credit report, but I will not pay for something that I did not get. Also, I noticed the turntable on the first shipment was facing downwards and the 2nd microwave it was facing upwards.
I also read online that the policy and damaged microwaves are what is being sold to consumers, HD's 48-hour policy is sticking it to its consumers. Samsung is refusing to honor warranties and HD is refusing to help customers with getting Samsung to repair/replace the microwave. Both boxes were retaped also, which means they had been previously opened and taped back closed, so I am inclined to believe we the consumers are being scammed and are purchasing damaged/defective Samsung Bespoke microwaves instead of new ones.

I bought a Maytag Washing Machine from Home Depot in October and received it in November, washer leg was broken so it was replaced with another one on December 2, 2025. I bought the extended warranty. Was working fine until December 27, 2025, got stuck on the drain cycle. I tried to cancel the cycle and it continued to run. I unplugged it. The door was locked and I couldn’t get my clothes out. I called Home Depot and they said that they couldn’t do anything because it was passed the 48 hours. They wouldn’t replace it, or even repair it. That was under Maytag first year warranty. Their warranty kicks in after the Maytag warranty is done after the first year. Their 48 hours return policy is unacceptable if the machine is broken…. That will be the last time I buy anything from Home Depot.

Don't get appliances delivered from Aberdeen, especially ones that have a fridge with ice maker and water. Deliver people are nice, but they don't tell you to turn off water ahead of time. And only gave 7 minutes to try to and then they had to leave. Wait another week. Brand new fridge don't work. They can't get no one out here to service it and we have a warranty and now we had to wait another week for our fridge. We're pissed. Never again. Will we get any appliances from them.

I was sent a wrong part and I had to return it. Even though they confirmed by email that it was their fault they never refunded the ship costs (both ways). I ordered what was showing in the system for my microwave. I will also file a BBB report.

I would not recommend this store, I have never had a good experience here. I purchased a refrigerator, washer and dryer at the same time. They arrived marked up and the fridge was damaged 2 days later it stopped working, after returning and receiving 3 different refrigerators I finally was able to just choose a different brand and at that point I requested a different delivery company and I received a good refrigerator 3 1/2 months later after purchase. I had over 500 dollars of food spoiled due to their negligence on the matter. NO COMPENSATION. I just went online to look for new closet doors for my home and was told there is limited supply at my store and I should call to check. I did, and the automated system transferred me to the customer service desk after I told it I had a sku#.
I then had the pleasure of speaking with Christina "I believe she said", I then asked her if she could help me because I didn't request to get transferred to her, she said yeah what can I do? I explained I had a sore sku # and asked if she could just check quick. She then told me she would have to put me on an extended hold because she had a long line at the desk. I then said is there anyone else that can help me and she said no and that she was the only person at the desk right then. Literally as she was saying that I heard in the background a girl say, "I can help whoever is next," and right after that I hear another girl say, "Can I help you sir." All while this girl is telling me she is the only one up there and can't check a sku# quick. Again I've never had a good experience with these people and it starts at the top! You've been warned!

We bought a Maytag washer/dryer with extended warranty that Home Depot sold us. Home After a nightmare experience with Samsung appliances and Best Buy, we had hoped that purchasing Maytag through Home Depot would serve us with a better quality product and experience. We are sorely disappointed. Home Depot sold us junk. The Maytag washer lasted just over a year. A year! The dryer also doesn't seem to work as well anymore either. After only a year!!! It gets worse. Now Home Depot is making the repair process (despite buying THEIR extended warranty) into a nightmare. Home Depot even told me that I'd have to pay the repair company out of my own pocket first and then petition for reimbursement for the expense. What was the point of buying the extended warranty? Why should I have had to buy an extended warranty if they weren't intentionally selling junk designed to fail in the first place?
So Home Depot is not only guilty of selling appliance products designed to fail. Home Depot also gives you the run-around when it comes to their extended warranty. Kind of sounds like fraud, if you ask me. I have lost all respect for Home Depot as this company has shameless demonstrated to me that it has no integrity or honor. I wish I could be convinced otherwise, but as it stands, I must now view Home Depot as dishonest, greedy, unreliable, and very very unAmerican. One can only hope that someone at Home Depot will pay attention, hold themselves accountable, and make restitution. After all, this isn't how things are supposed to be. It is just gross.

I need/needed a thermistor for my oven, I ordered the part on 12/18/25 BECAUSE my cousin was going to do the repairs PRIOR to Christmas, according to the shipping confirmation the part was being shipped from Appliance Repair-Home Depot in Canton, MI. I emailed on 12/24 at 4:34pm, NO response to this very moment, I called a LOCAL HOME DEPOT in Greensboro and explained that Thursday, 1/1/2026 it will be 2 weeks, no product, no response, no nothing!!!!!
Today is 12/30/25. At 2pm I just talked to "Carla". She's a liar, she said FedEx lost the package because the part is so small??? FedEx said they NEVER HAD the package and to contact the shipper?? Whew, I am FURIOUS.... THEN she had the unmitigated audacity to tell me it would take 5-10 business days to REFUND MY MONEY!!!!! Dear Home Depot, do yourself a favor, stop paying people in beans and rice and MAYBE...just maybe....CUSTOMER SERVICE will return and no longer be an old fashioned thing of the past! The Canton, Michigan location IS TRASH! Carla is a LIAR and I'm pretty sure she's among friends.

On Dec 3 we received our first delivery. Removed old dishwasher, DID NOT install new dishwasher, water was not turned off and a plug was not installed in the garage disposal, resulting in water damage in the basement and to the cabinets. On a subsequent delivery the installer said it was against policy to leave without installing a dishwasher. Will Home Depot verify this was against company policy. Delivered wrong model of dishwasher. Tape was removed from stove. Large areas of adhesive could not be removed by delivery team. Did not install anti-tipping system on stove.
Both washer and dryer were damaged and returned at a later date. Cold water on washer was not tightened causing water to drip. Homeowner tightened connection. Shelving not installed in refrigerator. Dec 6 had plumber inspect for leaking water, plumber installed plug in garbage disposal to stop leak. Dec 10 delivery team came to pick up washer and dryer WITHOUT new washer and dryer. Washer and dryer remained until new washer and dryer was delivered. Dec 12 second incorrect dishwater delivered returned to Home Depot. No notice that a different model dishwasher was delivered
Dec 16 second stove delivered. Delivery agent said didn’t have to install anti-tipping device because previous installer should have. And was not on his work order. Delivery team would not remove protective tape from stove, ‘not my job’. Second washer and dryer delivered. Hauled existing washer and dryer away, DID NOT mark washer as being returned. Issue was resolved by John at Brighton Home Depot. Washer was connected with the hot and cold connection reversed, homeowner swapped water connections. Could not get purchased dishwasher from Home Depot. Currently no working garage disposal or dishwasher.

We ordered an entire kitchen suite on November 22 to be delivered December 18th. We prepared for delivery. On the 18th they rescheduled for after Christmas on the 26th. Disappointed but still hopeful for a good experience. They came on the 26th. They brought in a dented refrigerator and a dented microwave. They did not hook up the refrigerator or the dishwasher. They didn’t remove the dishwasher and just left the old one. They said they did not have the right parts. It was a horrible experience. A huge investment and the works rushed, dented, and left with no resolution.

After 3 so called "missed deliveries" done by ill mannered children. I called customer service times to get a GE stove delivered... THREE! I was home each and every time at my cell phone WAITING for a delivery call that never happened! When I called customer service they didn't believe me when I told them the drivers never called when the truck arrived. My house is on a hill so the drivers must call in order to deliver. I specifically asked them to have them call upon arrival. I never got a call on the last delivery date nor today. This is the 3 reschedule date. If they mess up again I will go to Lowe's which wasn't much better.
What happened to paying adult men to do a man's job. I am very disappointed with Home Depot. I have 2 more appliances coming with them unfortunately. If I experience this again with Home Depot. I will go to a smaller company that has gas installers and plumbers. Consider the low ratings here...it could be you next. This was a sincere rating. No more appliances from Home Depot for me!

Worst possible experience possible. The installer was not trained, not an employee, and not skilled or licensed. After the installer botched the plumbing, damaged the cabinets and scratched the wood floors, calling customer service turned out to be the worst of all. All of this led to a month's long process of making a claim and playing duck and hide with the insurance company representing The Home Depot. Take the advice of thousands of 1 star reviews and steer clear of The Home Depot. They might be okay at selling nails, but if you but an appliance and have them install it... You will be screwed!

I had been to Home Depot 3 times this week. Each visit I asked a question and was immediately taken care of. Today's visit, I needed some PVC pipes cut to a specific length. I went to the display and Ed was answering some questions a customer asked. Ed asked if I needed his help and I answered yes. He told me he would be with in a few minutes. That was fine, he was doing his job. When he came to me he asked what can he help me with. I told him that I needed 4 PVC at 88 inches. He double checked we me that this was the item and verified the length. He helped me check out because it was cumbersome to carry. I could not thank Ed enough for all of his help.

Home Depot customer service is horrible! My mom ordered a washer/dryer set. It was delivered and the washer was faulty. Water didn't come out - service guy came out the next day and said it was faulty and would be replaced next day. My mom called Home Depot- she was transferred to different numbers a few times. She got a rep that had an accent and was hard to understand. Can't get a replacement for the washer for another week. My mom explained she was told a replacement would be next day. Home Depot needs to train their employees and their 3rd parties (if they are using 3rd party for delivery) that they are to tell the customer to refer to the scheduling department for a delivery date. It is false information that the customer is recieves at this point. Customer needs to plan accordingly. This is very poor service!

Customer service has been extremely difficult to deal with. Two refrigerators have been delivered to my home damaged. The process to replace them and get a reasonable refund has been extremely difficult. Customer Service has been less than helpful. Been on hold more than 45 minutes or more than one occasion and still not resolved.

Don't ever buy an appliance from Home Depot. We bought a washer and dryer 15 years ago and ignorantly went back expecting the same service went we bought a new set. The truck driver said he wasn't a good driver and couldn't maneuver our street, ( everyone else has no problem.) The installer couldn't read the invoice and had no idea how to install a stackable set. We also were communicating through a language translation app. It was a disaster and we called the whole thing off. Damn it. I'll never trust that company again. They don't care. There's no professional.

Home Depot sent the order to the wrong zip code. When I called to try to fix it the customer service representative was extremely unhelpful, rude and hung up. Frankly, it was the worst customer service that I've ever experienced.
