I bought glass for a customer to put in. They did everything and gave me what I was gonna get. The guys I worked with were great.

Thank you so much for your fantastic 5-star review!

Their reps are very good and professional and the installers were very knowledgeable and efficient. They were the highlight of the whole process. The quality of the installation and the product could not have been better. The materials were delivered and placed in my home nearby. But when the installers were about to finish, they realized that there were pieces missing, including a screen door, which is kind of important with a screened-in porch. It tells me that nobody really checked. I was told they got in a shipment from the manufacturer, which I thought was Four Seasons’ own manufacturer. It was late to boot. They had to make sure everything is here before they pilot up in my backyard and it wasn't. That was very disappointing. We had to wait another week and a half or so.

Four Seasons was horrible. I'm not a happy customer. We had a terrible experience. Their install was not professional. They were dirty. They left a whole bunch of stuff on the lawn where I got fined by my HOA. I would never recommend them.

We understand how frustrating it can be when expectations aren't met, and we're committed to making things right. We initiated an investigation into the matter to identify where things went wrong. Our customer service team will be reaching out to you shortly. In the meantime, if you have not already spoken to our Long Island customer service team, you can reach us at 631-828-7272.

The sales guy was good, but everything was a lot later than expected, then when everything came, it came in the wrong sizes. I had to wait another three weeks. The contractor was decent though. They had some really good guys. They had to come back a couple of times to fix something. I got to call them back again because there's an LED light strip that keeps coming off. They've fixed it three times, but it's happening again. Overall, the product Four Seasons has is amazing. It was just the way it all went down, to get them back and forth and the mess they left. They did outdoor shades, and they left screws and a bunch of wires all over the place. I took care of it myself.

I used Four Seasons back in the 80s, put a sun room on the back of my house. I knew that that's what their thing is and that's all they do, so I figured that would be a good way to go. Everything was straightforward and the way I expected. It was very nice. Also, the installation is better than I thought it would be. Very efficient, quick, nice guys. Cleaned up everything, and it was good. The quality of the materials used is excellent. And aesthetically, it's good. Better than I thought it would be.

We ordered a solar greenhouse. It was installed in the early 90s. Since then, some glass got foggy and some others were broken. It's double-pane. So, I called Four Seasons and they gave me an estimate to make the repairs, and they put it back to new. I'm very satisfied with it.

The initial representative from Four Seasons did not have the knowledge that he needed. He didn't understand what came with what product and what came with what package I see. We also had some concerns about the foundation and he just dismissed our concern. So it took an extra six months. The product and installation itself once it came in was fine. We love our sunroom. We opened it up and so it's part of our home. But the process of doing the plans and submitting them to the town, the rep misquoted us and told us that something was included in the package and it wasn't. So we were back and forth.

The reps were to the point and very knowledgeable about the product and what our choices were. The installers only took a day and a half and they were finished. Everything fit in perfectly. They were definitely the people to go with. They've been in business a long time, so they've proved themselves over the years.

We had window replacements through Four Seasons, and we also did a conservatory sunroom. Overall, we really weren't that happy with them. We think there was a lot of miscommunication. We had to call the contractors several times to come and finish the work. As matter of fact, just right now, we're having a floor put in there and they were supposed to build it up level to the rest of the house, and they didn't. The guys had to put it into subfloors to make it level. So, we were not totally happy. There were a lot of things we felt like we had to manage the project. We had to tell them to come back and do the trim, come back and do a lot of stuff. We wouldn't recommend them to anybody. From the office management, there was a lot of miscommunication. From one person to the next, there was so much misinformation. So, it was very frustrating working with them in that regard.

We love the sunroom. But the experience to getting to that part was not pleasant. Four Seasons has a good product and they’re blowing it up with the people that they're using to install it. I lived in Long Island and I've seen Four Seasons retail locations for a long time. And the way I calculated it was if they've been in business for this long, they have to know what they're doing. 15, 20 years at a time, you have to be good. The salesman was exceptional. Very nice man. Knew what he was talking about. Did some calculations. And we had very good conversations with him. He gave us his phone number. We spoke. And we moved forward with that in mind the same day. But the crew that installed it was miserable. They were hacks. They may have been doing this for a long time but they did not at all pick up on the little things. They left the place a mess. They left material all over the place, stuff blowing around.
And the sunroom that they thought was done, leaked. They didn't do finished areas that they should have done. Part of my contract was them to finish my deck around the summer. And I told them, "Don't even touch it. I'll finish it myself.” So, they get a grade of F from me. I complained to whoever the franchise operator is. The room for improvement is get a crew that knows what they're doing, and that's customer-geared, that it’s not a construction job. This is somebody's house and they need to pay attention to the little things.
We were told by the salesman it would take approximately three to four weeks, which was reasonable. And something was out of their control, because of what's happened with the COVID. But it took closer to four months to install it. So, I lost the entire summer with the sunroom. I would not recommend the company only because of that reason.
The sunroom itself is great. We love the fact that we could sit out there. It's a sunroom. But Four Seasons didn't do anything other than there was a gentleman who did the oversight. Every time I called him, he responded to me. And he addressed my concerns and he rectified them within a reasonable amount of time. It could have been a pleasant experience. And that's what it should have been, considering we spent over $100,000 for it. But it turned out to be a nightmare. And not did I have to pay attention to these guys and what they were doing, and be in disgust, but the missus wasn't happy. And guess what happens when she isn't.
It's almost a shame because the overall project manager was a nice man. But I'm in the contracting business. So if I sent out a crew to do something and they fail at whatever it is I sent them out for, don't tell me I’m responsible. And if I get complaints from my people that say, “Hey, your customers say this team is no good,” I’ll remove the team and start fresh or start somewhere else. But they consistently came back. So it's on him, too. Can't be just a nice guy. He's got to be a businessman at the same time.

We had a sunroom put in 30 years ago. Over the years, many of the windows have fogged up and they're very expensive to replace. Almost every window had to be replaced at one time or another. I could’ve had another room put in. I had 10 new windows put in recently and the techs were lovely guys. But whoever put the windows in did not do a very good job of caulking. The seal had broken and the room leaks. My couch now has mold on it. They're coming tomorrow and I told them that I want the whole room recaulked. They were very cooperative. Other than that, the people who have come to my home, the quickness and the woman I speak to, Janet, is lovely.

I would never use Four Seasons again for anything else. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. The timing on the project was always off. So, I didn't know when somebody was coming or not. We had to have somebody home to be here when they were working. And it was very confusing. And the final product, at this point, we're still not happy with. But I was never able to resolve all the issues.

Four Seasons put in a sunroom off my patio deck off my dining room. They handled it from soup to nuts, all the permits, and all the architect’s drawings. So, it was kind of a one-stop shopping. They came in and they had a crew. They put it up fairly quickly. What took time was the permit process with the building department. The work looks very nice and very well made. It's just they moved an electrical box that was there, and then they told me that they were going to put it back, and it's been a while, and they haven’t responded. I gotta call them again either to remind them or what.

My experience was many years ago and it wasn't nice at all. I had a Four Seasons room that was destroyed by Sandy and they said they could replace the glass. It cost me $16,000 and they did an awful job. They didn't put new strips in. It was a disgrace. Multiple times, the manager got nasty with me. Four Seasons ultimately ended up fixing it after much aggravation and heartaches for my husband and I. For all the money that I spent on just the glass, I could have ripped that out and had a whole new room constructed. It was a mistake. And I would never recommend them or deal with them again.
Reviewed Oct. 24, 2022
The product itself is a very good product. But for a company in business, the way Four Seasons handled it was terrible. The sales rep when he came to the house was great. But what turned me off to it was later on after we agreed to the deal on how the sales rep was full of **. One thing I asked him was, does Four Seasons do all the work themselves or do they sub out the work, which either way would have been fine with me. I asked the question because I wanted to know who will come to my house. "No, no, no. We do everything completely in-house. Everybody works directly for Four Seasons." "Okay, great. That's awesome. It wouldn't matter if they're subcontractors. I just wanted to know. I want to be prepared.”
Three days before they were due to deliver, a stranger came knocking on my door and told me he was the guy that woould install the sunroom. I asked, "Do you work for Four Seasons?" He said, "No." That turned me off. I was ready to cancel the whole project. They lied to me saying that they do everything in-house, and the Four Seasons' truck is going to pull up in front of the house, and everybody works directly for Four Seasons. So, when I see a stranger pull up in front of my house with a white van, who I had no idea he was even coming, it gave me that weird feeling. I wasn't prepared for that. I'm grateful that I was home. Because my wife would have been freaked out by it too.
The salesman said, "If you have any problems, you call me. I'll take care of it." And up until that point, he was very active in following up, calling and double checking. But one call he never made was to let me know that someone was coming to the house three days before. After that, he fell off the radar. That was when I decided I don't want it. I'll lose my deposit. I don't care.
And dealing with other supervisors and other people within Four Seasons, we ended up completing the sale, but I refused to let them install it. I said, "If that's the case, I'll have my own people install it." Because they were not installing it anyway. And all the warranties that they sold me on is nonsense because they were not installing it either. So, why am I paying all of this extra money for these warranties? Because these people work straight for you, and they go through the factory training. It was all nonsense.
So, I ended up buying the pieces. They delivered it. And that was it. Four Seasons immediately cut off all communication. I needed an extra part in one of the packages that we were missing a couple of pieces that was backordered. They wiped their hands off the product. I was fine with it. But I have a problem due to the fact that we never got those other parts. If I call them today and say, “I need to order part 1, 2, 3, 4. I'm willing to pay. I want to pay for it. I don't want warranty work or anything.” They will not sell it to me. They will not do anything. All that stuff they sold me in the beginning went out the door.
Knowing that the sunroom was built for the house, they were going to lose on the money too. It's not like you could say, "It didn't work for my house” but they'll put it on your house. It wouldn't work. The measurements were cut from my house. I'm sure that they're annoyed because they also lost out on the additional revenue of installing it. It looks great. We enjoy it. But it's not fully enjoyable because of the incidents of certain things weren't delivered that should have been.
Their warranty that they sold me on is nonsense too, because they wouldn't even honor the warranty on the product that they made. If it was a construction problem that caused an issue, that's fine. But the motor on the screen is nothing that I could have done while building it. The motor on the screen is a motor that they supplied. It's no good. They should honor their warranty on that, but they don't.

Four Seasons is a local company and I went with them a few years ago. I had something installed four years ago. We went with a screen setup and it was the motorized screens that go up and down. I liked the convenience of it and the style. The quality is also very good. Setting this up took a little longer. It was custom-made sizes. We ordered it and it took about a month before the screens came. They had to be cut to size and measured to size. The installers came right away to measure. We don't really use this sunroom too much between November and March. But from March to November, we use it all the time. Definitely use Four Seasons. They had a fairly reasonable price and they were professional.

Excellent choice! Double pane, no fog between the glass panes. Workmanship was excellent. Windows are attractive and well built. We removed the blinds and drapes from the windows and when the crew arrived, they immediately began removing the old windows and replacing them. I got a glass room that cost $40,000. It's expensive but it's good quality. The installation was good but the repair sucked. During Hurricane Sandy, a tree fell on it. They charged me $17,000 to fix it. The guy who fixed it that works for them wasn't any good. He left all the windows foggy from the guy who was cleaning. He told the guy to stop cleaning them. "We got to go on another job," he said. You don't talk to me like that when I spent $40,000 for a room and five years later just rebuild it. I said, "You've got a lot of fog and grease from hands on it. Clean it." He said, "I don't have time."

I bought a sunroom from Four Seasons. It's a very nice-looking room. The process was fairly simple. I didn't need to be home. Once I signed the paper, they got to work. I had a concrete slab and they did a glass all the way around and there was a roof that was aluminum. They did tiles on the concrete. They were surprisingly quick. What I didn't like was we had hired Four Seasons but somebody else showed up. He was some random contractor and told me straight, "They subcontracted us." The guy was nice, but he wasn't Four Seasons and that wasn't disclosed to me early.
They were cutting aluminum and had the corkscrews come off the aluminum when you cut them. I had to keep telling them, "You can't be leaving this stuff all over my yard." They said, "Don't worry. It goes into the dirt." But aluminum doesn't ever rust. So, those corkscrews are going to be in my yard forever. I couldn't even go over them with a magnet because they're not magnetic. I had a little bit of frustration, but we came to the terms and I raked what I could.
There was some settling. One the glass kept breaking and they kept replacing it. The roof leaked. There was a discussion that the roof was there when they put the room in. The room had a screen room with a hard roof, similar to the material they used, but the walls were only thin aluminum and screen. They took all the screen out and put all glass in. I told them it never leaked prior. When they took my screen room out, they shifted the roof and broke the seal. I was up there with glue and duct tape and caulking, but it never stopped leaking ever. I work in ladders and I was able to get up on the roof and do it myself. But any general homeowner or older person would not have been doing that and it would have been a long claim with them.
We never rectified it. Four Seasons told us that it was my fault, the roof was there, and they were not responsible. I said, "You shifted the roof. The roof was sealed at one time. When you took the screens out, they should have gone back up there." But they wouldn't do it. I wasn't completely dissatisfied. For the amount of money I paid, it could have been done better.
They used prefabricated panels. They were very thick. They had floor windows. Those were 24 all the way around. Above that, I had a second row of windows that were opening windows. The bottom ones were firm. They didn't open. The upper ones opened and they were very nice windows all the way around. They opened sliding left and right. Then they had the triangle where the roof was coming down and they had it filled with an aluminum panel to make it square.
I asked about getting electric put into it. They use tubing in-between each window. I told them I'd like to get a run in there but they didn't give me time to get that wire through or an option to get the wire through. They said there is electric available but I was discouraged from pursuing it. You can get the electric up and down, but you can't get it left and right. The hollow panel was up and down, and the windows were complete up and down glass. You couldn't get past them with an electric line. I wasn't happy about that. Their guy wasn't an electrician and they didn't want to have to wait for an electrician. They made it not easy to do it because it would have held up the window guy. I would do business with Four Seasons again, but I would be more firm with my needs on the contract and the signing at the end.

I have a friend who is an architect and he does work for The Diocese of Rockville Centre. We wanted to get a greenhouse for our plants so I asked him how to find somebody. He said that the diocese used Four Seasons quite a bit. I also talked with an architect who works for the Town of Oyster Bay and used Four Seasons. They’re both heavy hitters, so if they say that Four Seasons is good, they’re good. We looked at what they had there and talked to a guy. They had what we wanted.
The sales guy listened to what we wanted and showed us what he had. They had a special kind of glass that we were worried about. Most greenhouses are boiling hot in the summer because the heat gets inside and can't get out. Four Seasons has a special kind of glass that filters out the sunlight. It still looks clear but it blocks a lot of infrared. There was the demo with a heater lamp on one side of the glass to see how you feel on the other side and you could hardly feel a thing. It has been a good experience.
Putting things together went pretty fast. They had to pour the floor then they had to wait a couple of days for the cement to harden. They came back and built the rest of it. As far as time on site, that took about three days. But there were some gaps in between. It turned out Garden City had problems. They had to have a building inspector come by before they poured the floor and had him come by again after they poured the floor. There were some bureaucratic delays along the way also. It's just the way the world is.
A couple of years after we had the thing done, our gardener had one of those weed whackers and it grabbed a stone, hit the greenhouse, and broke a window. It’s a big window and it’s a special glass. I called Four Seasons and asked what I should do. They said they would come and fix it. They came, measured the window, came back with another thing, and swapped them out. The fact that they stood behind their products made life really easy for me. It was very painless. They were here when I needed them later.
