Elite Home Warranty coverage

Elite Home Warranty offers three plans. Each includes white-glove service, with technicians sent to your home as soon as the same day.

  • Elite Systems: This plan includes air conditioning, heating, electrical, plumbing and stoppage, water heater and garage door opener coverage. It starts at $44.99 per month.
  • Elite Appliances: The appliances plan covers your refrigerator, ice maker, water dispenser, clothes washer, clothes dryer, range, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, built-in microwave, garbage disposal and ceiling fans. It starts at $41.99 per month.
  • Elite Complete: This comprehensive plan covers everything in the systems and appliances plans and comes with limited roof leak repair coverage. It starts at $54.99 per month.
  • Optional coverage: Get optional coverage for your central vacuum, water filtration system, free-standing freezer and ice maker, swamp cooler, wine cooler, water softener, hot tub and premium appliances and systems.

    I am not a paid actor, just an average homeowner. I just got Elite Home Warranty coverage in April, 2024 and have already have had to use it twice since then and it's only July. I was nervous upon signing at first as they are located in Brooklyn, NY and I'm in Yardley, PA, but they had the best deals so I thought I'd give them a try. I want to tell you... THEY ARE NO MISTAKE! They have already paid me $500 cash for my Microwave to be replaced and just today, another $419 reimbursement coming via direct deposit to my checking acct. in just a few days, for an electrical breaker for my pool that my "own" electrical technician, whom I was allowed to choose, charged me. They are quick, easy to work with and extremely fair. I'm paying about $800 a year for over $18K worth of claims coverage allowed and they allow me to pay it monthly. Now how can you beat that?!!! I HIGHLY recommend them and on top of all that, they're extremely nice and thorough!

      I am a returning 2 year customer with Elite Home Warranty! Tracy, Brandon, Tatiana and Nir have been amazing from start to finish. There is no pressure, they really care about the bottom line for your needs. Tracy has gone above and beyond, having stress of owning a home for the first time and knowing when something breaks and knowing Tracy and Brandon are a call away outs my fears and anxiety at bay.

      They never make you feel like you're a bother when I need to ask questions over and over, they're really an amazing team, I bought a house that has had many unforeseen things break or go wrong. TRACY WORKS so hard to make sure you are truly handled with the most incredible experience. They go above just being a warranty company, They make you feel like a person and not just another number or Contract.       We've been having an issue with our pool filter, and we've had five inspectors here, and they have all given us different diagnoses, and it's been kind of a nightmare. We worked with Tracy, and she was really awesome and patient and helped us through that. It's been really great to work with her because she's helped me stay calm with all the issues with our filter. The most recent claim with Elite was getting that corrected because the pool hasn't been staying clean. Tracy helped us find some people that does pool cleaning and pool repair. We have a guy that we use now, and he replaced the sand in our filter, which was causing the issue. Now, we're doing good. It was mainly getting sand put in the filter because it was old and so the water wasn't pumping through.

      They also had to fix the vacuum. The latest people that came out removed two of the hoses, but now it's not cleaning the back of the pool as well because they removed too many hoses. They said they would come out and they just replaced them, but they didn't add new links, which I think they were supposed to. So now we have that problem where we have to go and buy hoses, and I thought we paid for that. Other than that, there are no issues.

      The only issue is Pete’s Dolphin Pool said that they would come and add two new links to the vacuum, which is what I believe was covered through the warranty. They were really great, but they haven't done that. Their pool expert said that we had too many links. Then the other expert is saying, “You need two more links.” Everyone's giving different opinions. Other than that, our experience has been great.My biggest complaint would be that when we worked with Nathan, he did not tell us about a 90- day waiting period. We knew about a 30-day waiting period but nothing about a 90-day. That was really frustrating because we just bought the house, and then that happened. We felt misled by Nathan, and he was really nice but that was frustrating.

      I had a claim for the garage door opener and Elite handled it awesome. I called on a Friday night and they answered and called me back the next day. They sent somebody out to fix it and the tech was awesome. It's one of the better experiences that I've ever had. Also, props to the guy I called to get the policy. I told him I was gonna call him back but we had something come up and a month later, that guy checked back up with me.

      When I filed a claim for the water heater, Elite got somebody out here within the time they said they would. The service representative I spoke with, Tracy, was great. However, they lowballed it and went to a bottom feeder repairman. Elite needs to stop doing that. That costs them money. The first guy that came out spent all day and thought he needed a part. But he was wrong. He wasn't even close. He put the part in the second day. The second day, I was getting cold showers. But Elite took care of that. They got a better person out here. The problem was a minor adjustment that the second guy found in five minutes. I'm not happy with the amount of coverages that Elite affords though. The coverages are inadequate. For the air conditioning, at a coverage of $3,000, that would not even cover the replacement of the fan, let alone the compressor. That's gonna be thrown at the owner's problem. For the pool, it's an option you have to pay for. With that $1,000, I'm accustomed to much better coverage.

      For the most part, everything has been fine. They're really nice and very accommodating. The only negative is that getting parts coming here is really hard because we're in a rural area of Wyoming. But my rep had the best intentions for us to get this done as quickly as possible.       I'm in transition from another company and I didn't want to be out stone-cold without any kind of coverage. I wanted to get something onboard, just to be on the safe side. I did Elite Home Warranty primarily for their BBB rating and the reviews that I read online. When I called, all my questions were answered. I had peace about that. In the event something should happen, I could quickly cancel the contract with no problems.

      The other plus was I could use my own person. If I knew a good electrician, I could call the claims department and they could allow me to use that person. That was really nice. At the same time, if something breaks down and I don't know anyone, the company can also back me up and provide me with someone. Elite Home Warranty also seemed to be available 24/7. I was given assurance that the claims department would always be there to respond. Hopefully, it's a good journey we're on. It was a very nice interaction so far.

      I would point out to friends why I went with Elite Home Warranty as well as the fact that they seem to be available and the fact that the reviews were great. You can't go wrong when people say something nice. Hopefully, that's what I'll go with. There's the reliability with this company. Even if they can't provide the service, they said they can give me advice.

      I’ve had Elite for two months now and I love the peace of mind that if something breaks that's covered, we can just call them and walk through the process of getting some help and not having to pay 100% cash to fix something. The person I dealt with when I bought the warranty was very nice and accommodated when I was able to talk on the phone and followed up with me. I was a little bit pressured into buying the three-year package and paying all upfront for the entire three years. And I couldn't do that. I had to do just the monthly payments. But other than that, everything was great.
