This is a scam. They don't respond to service requests and are still taking money from my account. When I first got them they were good, but now, no one should buy their service. For some reason they are listed as a good service, but they scammed me. It also started out at $49.00 but went ulp to $94.00 before I knew it without any notice. BEWARE!

I paid $1500 for a 3-year contract of home warranty effective since 6/20/24. I tried to contact them to file a service request. It seem all phones are down. They put an email address on their website but no one responded when emailed repeatedly. When I subscribed for this warranty, it had 4.5 score by Better Business Bureau (BBB). But it seems that nothing is trustable now. I need to get the refund of my money.. but how? I will contact CFPB as well as state attorneys as well. Let's see if they can help grab these criminals by their stinky leprous neck.

I cannot believe that this company is in business. There are negative reviews on multiple platforms including BBB. I filed a complaint with BBB and the response from Elite Home Warranty wasn't fulfilled. They apprised BBB that they would refund my money. It never happened.

I think they took our money & ran. Now, you can no longer call them. Phone number is not valid. I made a claim in August 2025.... still no response nor by phone or email. I had to go back to American Home Shield.

My washing machine recently malfunctioned and required repairs. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach anyone at Elite Home Warranty to discuss the issue. Despite sending multiple emails, I have received no response, and their website appears to be nonfunctional. I believe it is important to alert the public that Elite Home Warranty may be operating fraudulently. They have failed to provide the services promised and still owe me reimbursement for over a year’s worth of fees.

Elite is in breach of contract for my 3-year home warranty starting Feb. 2025. The $1,650 premium is in dispute with my credit card company. Elite never reimbursed me the minimum $805 they agreed to for my $1,668.00 repair claim. They even kept the $140 service co-pay for the two HVAC units on that same claim they never processed nor paid which is now in dispute with another card company. Company only ever conducted business by telephone (no Web presence or email, so no paper trail) -- now I understand why.

This is a terrible customer service company. I had to cancel the contract for non-performance. We are due a $900 refund but no one is answering emails or calls. Refund due 10/31/25. Left several messages and no response. System has been down 2 weeks.

After paying for their warranty service in January I have not been able to reach them by phone and they do not respond to emails. I have and have not received any response.

Elite Home Warranty is a scam. They do not answer the phone or return calls. They do not respond to emails. Their website and phone message indicates they are going through "temporary" service issues. I have been trying to reach them for 2 weeks via daily calls and emails. I have yet to receive a single response. I am now in a position where I have no choice but to file complaints with the BBB and government agencies for breach of contract. Do not waste your money on this company.

Look out for Elite Home Warranty Co. We have tried to call them 3 times on issues at our home, like the same with other companies, we paid $970 upfront for coverage of our home in Dalton Gardens, ID. including septic. Two of the calls went unreturned about issues with we fixed ourselves on 10-19-25. Our basement flooded because of our washing machine leaking inside the machine. This time you can talk to know one except via email or leaving you acct # as well as problem and someone will get back to you.
3 days and no callback. Jonathan the guy who signed us up, even said, "Call me directly for any issues." His line has been disconnected, for home service # states, Elite Home Warranty is having temporary operational problems. Basically, money problems, but they also say leave your name, problem & acct# and they will contact you. Not so we were scammed, never one claim as they will not call back. I will file a complaint with BBB as well as contacting all our local TV stations to do a story on problems with all of the home warranty companies.
For example, as I was waiting a call back, I was contacted abut home warranties and the truth within 5 minutes, I had 6 calls wanting me to get sold more contracts. I have contacted 6 media companies about doing a story. After explaining 4 different companies we have used, delays getting to respond, unprofessional work and could not fix problem, I complained about all but two, even then it was days before they showed up to look at issue, small repairs done & old parts left' carpet dirty. And overcharge for service calls.
When I talked with media in our area. I explained to them my background 35 years as a licensed contractor in California state holding 4 state licenses in HVAC-Boilers-Commercial Refrigeration-Electrical. 35 years and never a complaint filed or no judgments. We took care of our customers which included Power Plants, Schools, Medical Facilities as well as a residential division. If there was an issue, we took care of it ASAP and always left a happy customers. How many business can say that... Money was never the driver for my company. Satisfied customers who referred us to other customer as well as word of mouth. We never advertised in 35 years, only our name and phone number listed. Enough is enough and I am going to help not only elders but younger people who want information from an expert

I have had Elite Home Warranty in place for over a year. Placed a claim on August 4, 2025 for a failed water heater. My clothes washer was this same result. My agreement states I have up to $2000 per year coverage for a failed water heater. The claim was denied, however, they would pay a $500 payout within 45 business days. First of all, the claim should have been honored, that is what we pay for. It has been over 50 business days and still no reimbursement. The company's phone lines have been down for weeks and they do not respond to email. Average hold times of over 40 minutes, then you get disconnected. The company is an absolute nightmare to deal with. I have filed BBB complaint, which they never responded to. They say their billing "profile" is down, whatever that means, so can't process refunds etc. Yet, their billing system works fine for collecting their monthly premiums. Very sketch operation. Stay away!!!!

Elite Home Warranty has been a nightmare to deal with. They take your money and then completely disappear — no repairs, no callbacks, no customer service, and no way to cancel. I’ve spent weeks trying to reach someone and never received a response. I’ve filed complaints with multiple consumer protection agencies because this feels like a scam. I wish I’d read reviews like this before signing up — save yourself the stress and stay far away. I’m going to file a complaint with the AG office in both NY and my own state. You should too!

The person took my initial claim, told me to wait, billing would take my service fee (I'm glad no one took my fee), no one ever came to the phone, I was suppose to receive a return call, to this day it has not happened. Now you call the numbers for Elite there is a recording stating there is a (technical work issue). All I want are the premiums I paid to this company. I have never had to use them and when I attempted to use them, I received no service. Give my my $600.00, I paid!!!! You gave no service, when I needed you so you should do the right thing!!!!

They have a "fine print" limitation wait period after the initial 30 days of 90 additional days. My water heater went out on day 72 (after the 30-day wait from purchase). The limited my claim to $300 via the fine print. I have been trying to collect since May and have gotten various excuses. The last time I spoke with someone, they told me they couldn't make any payouts because their banking profile was bad. What the heck does that mean. I contacted my state AG's office and have yet to hear back from them. Elite HW is a rip-off!

I’m beyond disappointed with Elite Home Warranty and I want others to know exactly what happened. I initially reached out to them through a representative to purchase the warranty for my Arizona home, paying $750 with the understanding that my deductible was $70 per service call. It sounded straightforward and reputable at the time. In August 2025, when I finally needed to use the warranty, I found out the real deal. Each service call was actually $70 per item, per room, which meant multiple fees for something as simple as a lighting issue across different rooms. It felt like a bait-and-switch.
I also had add-ons for my pool and freezer, which I paid extra for, only to be told that the deductible for those was actually $150 each. Meanwhile, I never received the full written agreement despite multiple requests. I sent emails throughout the year asking for the actual warranty terms in writing, and all I got were vague emails about coverage amounts—never the complete agreement you’d expect.
Calling them was another nightmare. I’d be on hold for 30 to 45 minutes each time, and often got hung up on. It felt like they made it as difficult as possible so that you’d just give up. And in the end, when I checked Elite Home Warranty’s own website, they no longer listed Arizona as a covered state—no notification, no refund, nothing. Separately, I also noticed their Better Business Bureau rating had dropped to a C+. In short, it’s clear to me that this company is not operating in good faith. I’m looking into legal action because this feels like fraud and extortion. If you’re considering Elite Home Warranty, I strongly recommend you stay away.

I would like to know what is going on. The phone is not answered, and our claim for a water heater is being overlooked. I was told we would be paid $500.00 for a replacement because to have the service man do it, it was to old and to expensive. I was told by claims that it would take a month to be reimburse, when I asked why , he could not tell me just said there would be an email asking for bank info to send the funds. But now I am hearing that my warranty company is in trouble and the $1250.00 I paid was for nothing. Do I need to take legal action to get my money back or what is going on. Please inform the best action that should be taken I will give to the end of this week. Thank You.

I started this home warranty in April 2023. With only 3-claims to-date. However after the first 4 months, their "elite" customer care because a zero star. They do not pay you, they do not answer the phone, they do not answer emails. I had a claim in June 2025, for a covered appliance. It took 3 calls over 4-days for them to send someone. The service rep said I could just "google" someone and they might reimburse me. That is what I am paying them for, to find a good tech.
They finally saw that the refrigerator needed replaced. They offered a very low amount (even when I searched for a similar model). They offered way under what is on the market. Regardless they say they are mailing a check (45-business-days) after they accept the replacement. They never mailed the check. Then when you call, it took 4-5 times a day, over 45-min wait times on hold to only be told that their payment systems are down. It is now Sept 2025, 4-months later, and their phone lines are giving a recording of 'operational' issues, their web-site is down, they don't respond to emails and the better business bureau rating went from an A to an F.
They do not pay the technicians coming to the house either. This company is a scam, committing fraud. Read the BBB reviews and the YELP reviews and you will see. My policy was paid up front to cover April 2025-Dec 2029 and they are "out of business" pretty much scammed all of us. Do NOT even try to use this company (actually you can't as their phones and emails are down) hire an attorney. File a BBB and a State Attorney fraud complaint.

Avoid this company at all costs. They force you to submit your claims by phone so that they can take care of your issue in a more timely and thorough fashion. But I have yet been able to get through to anyone in 3 days, calling 4 times each day, only to be disconnected after being on hold for 54 minutes.

Avoid at All Costs. Elite Home Warranty sells the dream but delivers a nightmare. They make big promises when you're signing up—fast service, responsive support, and comprehensive coverage—but once they have your money, the story changes completely. Terrible communication: Good luck getting a straight answer from anyone. Every call gets bounced around, emails go unanswered for days (if ever), and their reps seem more interested in avoiding responsibility than helping.
Service delays: Claims take forever to process, and when they finally send someone, it’s either the wrong contractor or a no-show. Repairs that should take days drag on for weeks or even months. Fine print traps: They’re experts at finding loopholes to deny claims. Things you were assured would be covered are suddenly “not eligible” due to some hidden clause. It feels like a scam. Do yourself a favor: don’t waste your time or money. Elite Home Warranty is anything but elite.

This is the best home warranty company that I have ever had. I get the help that I need when I need it. There definitely isn’t anything done differently from other home warranty companies that would make this one look bad. This company put the others to shame time and time again. I feel like I have tried them all at this point and this one has by far been the best. My house has been running nicely while using this warranty plan. If an issue arise, which it usually doesn’t, it is resolved quickly.

BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! I purchased this home warranty last year when the previous warranty was about to expire that the seller of the home I bought purchased for me..I chose this company because the ratings stated that they are supposedly the #1 warranty company in the world...THIS WAS COMPLETELY FALSE ADVERTISING. My washer stopped working in May. I filed a claim May 12th 2025, I paid the $70.00 claim filing fee and was told a vendor in my area would call within 24-48 hours, 72 hours with no response. RED 🚩#1. I called them back and had the request escalated..
A vendor contacted me and an appointment was scheduled for Saturday May 17th, the Vendor contacted me and wanted to reschedule due to the storms we had that knocked out power, no problem. I rescheduled for Monday May 19th.. The vendor comes and does his inspection to advise me that the part for my washer that was only 4 years old was no longer available and that he would let Elite Home Warranty know so a decision could be made, the vendor and myself made several attempts to contact the claims department. After 3-4 of time calling Elite Home Warranty they informed me what the Vendor had already stated that the part I needed was discontinued and someone from underwriting would call me back...
May 26th (which was Memorial Day) I get a phone call stating that my claim was approved and they offered $500.00 for a replacement which I accepted.. I was told that the claim payout would take 45 Business days (no weekends or holidays). (YA'LL DO THE MATH.) I let time go by before I started calling the middle of July to confirm there would be no issues and the method of payment. I was told a check would be issued July 31st..Every time I called they could not offer a check #. Red 🚩🚩#2. I called August 1st and was told that the check did not get mailed out on July 31st due to weather and the post office but I was guaranteed that the check was being sent out that day and I should have by August 11th, I called August 11th. Again no check # could be provided. Red 🚩🚩🚩#3.
If the check was issued why can't a check # not be given to me... I was offered the option of ACH on August 11th on that call (which I accepted) and was advised by the agent that they had just started back issuing claim payments by ACH. I provided my banking information 2x that week and I have made 6 phone calls this week requesting a supervisor call me and I still have yet to speak with a supervisor. I filed a complaint with the BBB & I am in the process of contacting the Attorney General.... DO NOT do BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM & RIP OFF....
Let's see if I get a response NOW since no one from the company can give me a straight answer and this is me being on HOLD 45 minutes or more each time I call with no results. NOT to mention the $$ I spent going to the laundromat to wash clothes $100.00 a month since May to do laundry. 😡🤬🤬🤬 #pissedoffconsumer
