I have purchased 4 Vacuums for my family. We all love them and get support for all of them. I bought a hair Straightener and hair dryer. Both stopped working just after warranty. Can not fix either. 500 each. 1000.00 total and no support. DO NOT BUY THE HAIR PRODUCTS. NO SUPPORT. Too expensive with no service and or support.

TERRIBLE. AWFUL. Do not buy from them. I ordered the product and changed my mind. I called them 10 minutes after the order, and they told me that they can't close it, but that I can return it as soon as I receive it. Which I did. I returned the unopened package to them. They received it and I contacted them several times and they told me to wait for a refund. After 25 days they say that the package was empty. I still haven't received the money back. If there are any of you who are still injured, contact us so we can make a video and publicly announce how they are cheating.

I purchased Dyson 11 last October. In June, it started pulsating often on sporadically at first and then more and more as the months went on. I thought it best to call and we had a video call and they figured out that my motor had gone and that they were going to, “send me a new one”. It’s been six weeks and I keep getting the same response every time I talk to someone “be patient we email you when your part comes in” every single time. It’s the same thing at this point I have to buy a new vacuum, but I’ll tell you it won’t be a Dyson because I don’t trust them to even deliver the part. It doesn’t bring me joy to write this review I don’t ever do this but sadly I am at wit's end. Unprofessional, lack of service, lack of commitment, doesn’t seem to be any Pride in the product or the people overseeing it.!

This is the worst vacuum I have ever owned and the worst customer service! I do not recommend this company at all! We bought a Dyson 2 years ago and all of a sudden the battery doesn't hold its charge. I contacted the compant over 2 months ago and still they have not sent me a replacement. They are unreliable and I have to keep calling them to find out what is happening. They keep saying how they understand how I feel, etc. but NEVER do anything! I am the one who has to keep calling. Today I even spoke with a so called supervisor who assured me they would be sending a confirmation email about my new vacuum and still no email! They also said it would take 15 business days to get the new one, which is a very long time but not only that it have now been about 60 days! NEVER BUY A DYSON.

My cleaner head broke off and I called Dyson to see if I can get a replacement of the cleaner head only. The customer service representative tells me they don’t have that in stock and that I should mail the whole Vacuum to them and they will ship me an upgraded model. I ship it back, and then 45 days go by with 8 calls to customer service each time spending 1 hour telling me that the replacement is about to be shipped. Just wait 48 hrs to get the email. Eventually I ask to speak to a supervisor who tells me my item is not in warranty and so they will send me a downgraded refurbished version that is several hundred dollars less than what I purchased. I’m still waiting for that to come but I’m sure I’m not going to be happy with the replacement. Would have never mailed back my better version had I known I wouldn’t get the same or better version back. Terrible customer service, will never buy a Dyson product again. Stay away!

I received this very expensive machine as a gift at Christmas last year. I started using it in March of this year. This one part just fell off and doesn't go back on. I tried to get a warranty claim despite me registering the machine when I received it. They say I need the receipt. I know where it was purchased from but I thought how ridiculous it is for me to have to go and ask the person for the receipt. Terrible service and customer support.

This company is the WORST I've ever dealt. From product to customer service. All incompetent. My original vacuum had internal issues - when I reached out they told me I need a new 'main cyclone' but it is out of stock and I need to enable notifications for when it's back in stock/check back in 1-2 weeks. 2.5 weeks goes by with no notification, I called, they said there's no news for when it should be back. Since I still had warranty, they suggested I mail them my original vacuum, once received they will ship out a refurbished model.
I did exactly that and they received it within the week but they did not ship the refurbished one. Instead I got an empty box...? I 've been on about 10 chats, in which they've closed on me multiple times, and called them 8 times now (probably a total of 10 hours of my time) just for them to tell me it hasn't been shipped yet. They told me I'd get a tracking # in 24-48 hours. 4 days goes by with nothing. I call again and they said there was a 'processing' error and I'll receive a new tracking in 24-72 hours. This has gone on for 4-5 weeks now and I still don't have my tracking # or vacuum. An absolute JOKE of a multi-billion company. Disgrace. I'll never buy a Dyson product again or waste my time with that incompetent company.

Dyson V-11, Cost over $1000, Warranty only 2 years (after that you are on your own). Trigger did not work. Replacement Kit cost $142.50 Plus Tax Plus shipping. The trigger is one of the first parts to be installed on the unit so as a result if you have to replace it you have to reverse the installation process, quite a complicated task. Impossible for the average consumer to do. Watch a U-TUBE on how to. I expected a great product for the price I paid. DISAPPOINTED? YES. I will never purchase a Dyson product again. I do not recommend this company or its products. 0.

I recently purchased my Dyson Gen5detect Complete as I like the matching colour of the motor head (gold). I like the look of it as I want to placed it my living area for easy access when needed. It also motivate me to vacuum my house regularly. I currently have a V15. Basically I own two Dyson Vacuum. When my order arrived, upon assembling the stand and all the parts, in my surprise the motor head attachment and the hair screw attachment is not the colour I am expecting in the advertisement. Completely different colour. The matching gold attachments that makes me buy this machine is not what I received.

Horrendous customer service. I wish I had never purchased a Dyson vacuum. Not impressed with the overall quality and design of the vacuum, to make things worse, the vacuum started malfunctioning 7 months after purchase. I reached out to Dyson (I purchased the vacuum directly from Dyson) to get a replacement, their silly solution was to ship the faulty vacuum over to them and then once they received it, they would ship a replacement, the whole process will take about 20 business days (basically a month), and they think it is perfectly fine to be 1 month without a vacuum, with a dog and a newborn in the house. Outrageous.
I asked for my money back so I could just get rid of this crap and shift to a different brand, they said they could not give me my money back even though the product is crap. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the horrendous customer service they have. I thought their products were #1 quality but after reading reviews online I have found a lot of consistency in the deplorable customer service and quality of products. I will make sure I share my experience with everyone I can and on every forum possible to avoid other people going through this nightmare.

I would give zero stars if I could....Do not purchase a stick vacuum from Dyson. I purchased the mini stick vacuum in May 2024 and cannot get any attachment off the canister without serious muscle. I contacted Dyson within 30 days and I was told they would send a new canister, and to date they have not. So I asked to return the unit. Dyson ignored my email. So I did a chargeback, their response was; "They will send a return label after I do a reversal of the chargeback". I told Dyson I will not cancel the chargeback because they've ignored my previous requests for help, and I have no doubt I wouldn't see a return label if I did a reversal. I reached out again through Facebook messaging and that was just as useless, I received a response that made zero sense! Bottom line, stay away from this company!!!

Purchased the Ball Animal 3 Complete on 06/01/2024. Machine was not functional by 08/08/2024. This was my FOURTH Dyson, and the worst made, worst experience yet. Although the vacuum was still covered under a limited warranty, I do not trust that the cheaply made plastic parts on the replacement unit they are supposed to send will fare any better. I wasted one and a half hours on the help chat with a customer service representative. Individual was unaware of company return policies, wanted me to just send vacuum back to Dyson via UPS with NO BOX! UPS did find this amusing when they came to retrieve the plastic waste of money. Very disappointed. Might be 30 days before I get a new vacuum sent to me, depending on when they receive my broken one. Save your money! Dyson is not worth the cash anymore.

Terrible customer service and even lied. I called re “under warranty” product. Was told they can't fix so I had to send my unit in and they would send me a replacement but, they did not have a white one so they would send me a better model in white. I had to send mine in first. I did. 3 weeks later I got my replacement. Was black and inferior model. When I called, I was told it was an TP-10 which is not as good as the TP-7. When I advised the customer service of that and that it was black not white He hung up after 15 wasted minutes.
I called back and the next person was better but, he said the previous person was wrong what they shipped me was not a TP-10 but a H-07 which is better than the T-07 but, they don’t make a white Silver in Canada so I would have to live with that. Lied. I requested a supervisor 3 times.. Eventually when I advised him I could buy it on Amazon and have it here tomorrow, he found the White Silver. They agreed to replace it but, I still have to send old one back before they ship the new replacement so another 3 weeks. What terrible customer service. And an hour and 10 minutes to resolve.

I bought a Dyson and it has turned out to be a nightmare. My battery died one month after the warranty expired. Bought a replacement battery and it was the wrong one, so I had to return it when I spoke to customer service I got a lecture and a bunch of articles on how their battery is superior. I tried to get another battery and was told to buy the wrong one, I immediately returned it while still with the customer service rep on the chat. (They cancelled my order and I never received it). I have now been fighting with them to get my money back since May. When I didn’t get my money back from Dyson I went to my credit card company who tried to contact them. They sent the credit card company someone else’s receipt and tried to claim it was mine. The name on the receipt was for someone in Oakland and I live in Canada. They are thieves and frauds. Do not trust them.

I have many Dyson products, that worked great, so bought the Dyson humidifier hoping it would be amazes well. NOPE; after 4 years 5 exchanges (that I never wanted) I’ve just given up. All I wanted was a refund for their terrible product. They run you around forever, to get you to give up. Good job Dyson, you get to keep my $1300.00. I WILL NEVER buy a thing from Dyson again.

I purchased the cordless vacuum and it worked beautifully for all of two or three months. Then the power started pulsating. I went through all of the troubleshooting alone and with a tech person from Dyson. They replaced the head. Worked for two months. Died. Didn't have time to address, so no vacuum for a while. Then troubleshot, troubleshot with tech, new head, worked. Died within two or three months. Third time around. I did my own troubleshooting (as I have the process memorized). The tech wanted me to go through everything AGAIN with her (not her fault, she was kind - just doing her job based upon the rules she is beholden to -) and I finally said no. It's a waste of her time and mine. Going to the dump.

I bought the Dyson Complete Long Air Wrap in March of 2024. Within 2 months it stopped working all together after maybe 10-15 uses. I went through the process of exchanging the product and then it got lost at their warehouse for a month. After waiting for over a month for what was supposed to be 7 days, I got a brand new air wrap in the mail. (Which they also did not send out any confirmation of receiving, shipping, or delivering this $600 product. So it was just sitting on my porch for hours when it finally arrived).
I went to go plug the new one in and no power, it did not work. Called customer service and asked if a refund was at all possible to which they said no. I asked what happens if they keeps happening and was informed I am only allowed 3 exchanges a year only WHEN the machine is under warranty (so 2 years), and that I would get a discount coupon (20% off) to buy a new product if it stops working after 2 years. I would NEVER buy from Dyson again. I am very upset that I did not investigate more into this known issue with the air wrap prior to purchasing.

I bought a dyson cordless vacuum. When it works it works fine. I am constantly replacing batteries. Everyone that you deal with in customer service is nice. But they don't know what they are doing. Recently I called because my vacuum died again. The troubleshooter person on the phone said you need a battery. No surprise. They proceed to send me another part but not the battery. I called and was told that the batter is not in stock and I would need to go through the hassle of repacking and sending back the wrong part. They were supposed to send me a sticker for UPS but still haven't received it. Went to Amazon bought the correct battery for less than Dyson wanted to charge me and it works fine again until the battery dies again. Don't buy Dyson vacuums. And if you have one buy all replace stuff from Amazon.

The engineering of Dyson could be better, it is pretty obvious that some of the engineers don't even use a vacuum. Our most recent purchase the portable V8 is painful to use. Literally. You have to keep it pressed in order to conserve battery, but your thumb is holding all the weight of the machine and by the time you are done, even 10 minutes is a disaster. The handle should be better constructed.

I have a Dyson V10 that is only 4 years old. These vacuums are supposed to last 10 plus years. The main body needs to be replaced and I am being forced to pay for it. Although I was given a discount, I had no choice but to accept that. I find it unacceptable that customers should have to pay especially for main parts when these vacuums are so expensive and have such a limited warranty. I would never buy a Dyson product again. Poor quality product. Definitely not as advertised. And certainly not iconic service. Maybe spend more money on product quality than advertising.

Your money is better spent elsewhere. Purchased a V15 Detect November of 2022. It's June 2024 and it doesn't work. Customer support says I need a new body and cyclone but the parts aren't currently available. Every time I chat with customer support, they offer a 20% discount if I purchase a new product. Hello? Why am I giving you more money when you can't fix the product I already purchased from you.

Don't get fooled by Dyson. This product has design fault. I bought this two years ago. First, the battery went out. They replaced it with a new battery. Then, the trigger did not work. They replaced the whole thing (still within 1 year warranty). Then, one year later (warranty expired already), the trigger went out again. Called them. They said I have to pay close 145 CAD to get a new one. This is so terrible. Also, the product is noisy and it's not that powerful. Avoid Dyson vacuum if you want a reliable product.

I am not happy with my experience with a Dyson vacuum. I splurged and bought a cordless V12 1-1/2 years ago. It was great at first, but the connections between the various parts are weak. First a brush head broke, then the wand itself. I now have a vacuum I can't use at all. Dyson says they can't replace the parts because they are out of stock, and they only offer a 10% credit towards a new machine. The "Hassle-free" return policy is definitely not as advertised. I spent $500 on less than 2 years of use. I have owned many vacuums before -- my last Shark vacuum I gave away after 12 years because I wanted something newer and lighter. Never again will I buy Dyson!

Hi guys I spent over 1.5 hours in chat with techs today and surprised at the end result. First let’s start off with our vacuum animal ball this was purchased from Lowes about 4 years ago. It has already been sent back to you guys to fix it, Once again we have the same problem so that tells me it was not fixed properly and there is a problem with quality. Now the price we paid for a higher end vacuum, the company should stand behind their product but in this case I fail to see it.
The agent at first couldn’t get anything registered because you guys had a tech issue, okay I get that, then when I text back a few hours later still not fixed. Okay no problem. Then I try later in the afternoon and the agent can get it registered this time and we are chatting over an hour (while I am at work) and then he starts to get it ready to send back and anther tech issue which he can’t get the return label or something to that effect. He then goes on to tell me there are 2 returns facilities, 1 in Ontario and 1 in Calgary. We are over 2 hours away from Calgary and he suggest I take it to them. Well that’s great I need 4 hours of a day just to drive up and back.
Then he also tells me we will be responsible for any work completed and the cost we are to bear, no I find that rather interesting as it is the same problem as before that was never fixed properly. Had it been we would not be here right now. So in saying they fixed it would a new warranty from the date of fix not apply? The only reasonable answer would be yes, but once again customer loyalty as no bearing.
I also run a business and I always put my customers first but in this case it seems you are more interested in money than fixing and standing behind your product. I will await your response and solution to fix this once again or we would entertain a credit towards a new one perhaps. FYI I have since purchased one of your competitor's vacuums at a fraction of the price and it is working very well.

I have owned a total of 3 Dysons in my lifetime. The first one 1 bought (the old version, no ball) was when they first came out and I was pretty happy with that one, it actually lasted a couple of years before we had to buy a new one. The 2nd one was the roller ball Animal version, again basically when those were first introduced, that one last 1 year then broke. I got annoyed and bought a cheap vacuum from Walmart and that one lasted about 2 years (1 year more) then my husband bought me one of the cordless Dysons. We wanted to give it another chance, sometimes you just get unlucky right? Nope, we used this for about 1 year in our house for small clean-ups as it's horrible on rugs and now currently use it in our RV, for literally a tiny little space to clean maybe 1x every 2 weeks and it rarely works. We will never buy a Dyson again, too much money for something that's going to break in a year.

We have owned two Dyson animal vacuums. There is no doubt they clean very well. But they are problem prone and ultimately the only solution they offer is to buy a new expensive part. One of the machines began pulsing. Chatting with Dyson eventually led to the conclusion that a new $129.00 head was needed so I ordered it. Before it could arrive (shipping is very slow) the other one started pulsing. No blockages in this one either. Meanwhile our trusty Swedish vacuum that we ordered so long ago I can’t find it on Amazon any more just keeps on cranking’. I’m sending that expensive head back and we’re through with Dyson for good.
