I called yesterday at the last minute and was able to get a crew out the next morning. Nick called promptly to let me know that he was on his way. Nick and his assistance were efficient, super friendly and made suggestions about some things that we could add to the load. I was very happy to hear that some of the furniture would be donated to good causes. I would recommend 1-800-got-junk very highly.

The company provided good communication on our appointment time, and continued text follow-ups on the time of arrival. Once the team of Marquise and Schuyler, we're onsite, the true magic began. They assessed our items, and developed a plan of action. They worked with us on additional items and meet all of our expectations. We will definitely hire this company again and if possible, we will ask for Marquise and Schuyler!

Kyle and Dylan were fantastic! They arrived right on time, were friendly, professional, and worked quickly and efficiently. They made the entire junk removal process incredibly easy and stress-free. They handled everything with care and had a great attitude from start to finish. I just had two wonderful young men come to my house to help get rid of some things. I have had them twice now and each time I am impressed how kind and polite they are. I feel very comfortable with them and will always use them. They are the best and I love they come fast and always on time. I don't think there is a better company.

This is the email that I have sent twice and am not getting any response. Good evening. I had an appointment with 1-800-GOT-JUNK to remove the remaining contents of my house as I moved to Maryland yesterday. I was charged slightly under $2,700 for a dining room set, sectional couch with two tables, a wall unit, computer desk, outdoor table and chairs and a bedroom set. The contents would fill one truck.

I have used them previously and put up with the high prices but this time the delays and poor communication were just absurd. Using AI to take the information which never is passed on to the local company. I had to review my job with no less than 4 other people. Each one asked the same questions. They gave me a pick up window of 12-2 and showed up at 4:30. Nobody seems to know what they are doing. They are all "sorry" but absolutely nothing gets done as planned.

I had 1-800-GOT-JUNK come out to remove some yard debris. 2 young men came and looked around then quoted me $1500 which I told them this was too high. They then lowered to $1000 and I accepted this amount as I needed to get this removed. When it came time to pay they asked that $400 be paid by credit card and the remaining $600 paid by PayPal. I thought this a bit strange but I paid them as I had to get them out of my yard. I called the office the next day and asked them if they accept PayPal and they told me no they did not. The 2 men scammed me for $600 and the company only got $400. Their work was also terrible and nothing was cleaned up. I had to go over every place and pick up remaining, blow off road and drive. This company is a good company but be careful as their employees may not be so good.

I scheduled a junk removal service for my property where my 85-year-old father lives. The 1-800-GOT-JUNK? truck crew arrived early than they time they gave me over the phone. Instead of contacting me—the person who scheduled the job and owns the property —they went directly to my elderly father who was on site. They proceeded to quote him and charge him an astronomical $2,500. I had quote for the same service for $600. When I found out what was happening, I explicitly demanded that they stop the service immediately. They completely ignored my request, despite my efforts of talking to their crew and supervisor, and refused to halt their work since they had verbal agreement that my father was paying for.

I would never recommend this location to anyone. Absolutely terrible experience. We had a consultation beforehand and were given an estimate of what the removal would cost. We were also told that we could help with the removal, which would make the process go much faster. However, when the movers arrived, they immediately increased the price by nearly $1,000. Then, despite what we had previously been told, they said we were not allowed to help.

They were not equipped to remove the large jetted tub. I gave them 3 opportunities to leave but assured me they could do it. My floors wound up damaged. I have been trying to resolve for two months now. Initially they were responsive and thought we had agreement. Now I cannot get a return call. For 2 weeks I've been told a supervisor will call within 24-48 hours. Not a call yet. I guess I am going to have to seek legal advice.

David and Anthony were great. Friendly, courteous, on time, good pricing, no hassle. Would recommend highly to anyone looking to get rid of heavy or awkward items. This was in Fond du Lac, WI.

The workers were absolutely great. They were friendly and professional. They even called me to see if they could come about 20 minutes earlier than time window. My issue is with the call center who quoted me a price range lower than truly ended up being. Call center also told me part of the cost would also include how hard the refrigerator was to get to and remove from the garage. I had the refrigerator sitting outside of the garage in my driveway so they could back up to it. Still the cost was the high end of the quote I was given. After complaining they did give me a discount. I appreciate the fast and friendly service but the cost is way too high. Also for what they charge the trucks should at least have lifts for things like large household appliances.

Made appointment for an estimate days ago. On the day they were to come, the window was 10-12. Then they changed it to 11-1. I said no, we agreed on 10-12. Then they said it would be closer to 11:30. By 1:00 they still hadn't arrived, so I cancelled. They then repeatedly tried calling me to reschedule. Seriously. Unreliable as hell. Beware!!!!

On June 3, 2026 I had a service man from I-800-Got-Junk coming to my next door at 138 Allen Place, Hartford, CT, third floor for removing over 20 trash bags plus one damaged chair and one damaged night stand after my tenant moved out. I also told the service man twice that at the bottom of the stairway is a cardboard box with a folded rug inside that must also be removed. The service man failed to do so and the job was not completed to my satisfaction. I called the company several times asking to complete the transaction and they never sent anybody to do so. The 30-40 lbs cardboard box is now on the front porch waiting to be taken away. Unreliable, not recommended business. Emil

Ryan & Sam called & showed up at the appointed time, at my apt. here in Albq.. They were very, polite, professional, and quick.

I simply needed a barbecue all the way. It took up very little space in the truck. They initially charged me $228 and when I complained they reduced it to $148. I still think it was ridiculously high for a barbecue.

Could not take what I had due to the fact they had been somewhere else first. I was told they would be back for the rest at NO CHARGE, they came back the next day, insisted on more money

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. You give me a quote $79. I call you back the next day. Brought the love seat outside for you guys. Did have to work for you and you saw the 79-year-old lady that you were supposed to be helping and you tried charging her over $250. That's wrong. If I would have been there I would have told you to screw.

Do everything you can to avoid this company. The 2 guys that showed up were extremely nice but everything else about this company is a complete RIP OFF. I was quoted $99.00 to remove a couch however when they arrived that $99.00 turned into $450.00. WHAT? I should have read some of these other reviews as I was given the "let me call my supervisor and see what we can do." I ended up paying $225.00 which was still outrageous but at that point I didn't have the time to contact another company. Although I tipped each guy in cash, they also decided to add a tip to my invoice.

Kyle and Tyreese were polite, professional, and efficient. I had a mound of buckthorn trees that my boyfriend and I had removed from my backyard. It was a pretty massive mound of decades of overgrowth that would have been incredibly challenging for me to cut up and dispose of. After I accepted the quote, they loaded their truck in about 30 minutes. I found that very impressive, particularly because it was a hot day with an unforgiving sun. Their service was impeccable. I am rating this four stars not because of the two young men who worked to clear the pile of brush, but because it was incredibly expensive. I was expecting, may $400 tops, but the cost was more than double. They were kind in providing me with a coupon and, because they worked so hard, I felt compelled to tip them.

Two gentleman did fine job on May 2, 2026 in Bloomfield hills. They kept us updated when they would arrive. They were polite and efficient. They took apart a shed for us and hauled away old furniture and such from the basement. It felt great getting rid of the items.

We had a queen mattress, memory foam cushion for double bed, some scrap wood, a dead vacuum, two patio chairs, a wheelbarrow, bowling ball, and a plastic trash bin along with a stack of 3' cut bamboo poles. $318 ($288 plus $30 mattress disposal fee). Nope and nope. We took half of that to the dump for $21. Will tie the mattress on top of the SUV and haul the rest inside. Really disappointed in the pricing; will not recommend to anyone.

This company is a complete rip‑off. They arrived with a small truck that was already partially filled, yet they still tried to charge me close to $1,000 to “fill the truck.” If I hadn’t looked inside and noticed items already in there, they would have charged me the full price without saying a word. It’s much better to use a junk‑removal company from Yelp or even U‑Haul. 1‑800‑GOT‑JUNK quoted me $2,700, but I found another company with a properly sized truck who did the entire job for $600. The price difference and transparency were night and day. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Unfortunately, my experience with 1-800-GOT-JUNK was very disappointing. I received an official company invoice with a job number, address, date, and written quote clearly stating that labor, disposal fees, and junk removal from the property were included. After the job was completed, the supervisor claimed he didn’t know a quote had been given and said I should have told him beforehand. That made no sense to me — why would a crew take a job without knowing the agreed price? He then claimed the quote was not valid and demanded an additional $485.

I was in complete shock when I was told what it would cost to remove the furniture from my garage. I didn't realize that they were so expensive. I don't think I will use their service again. The men were pleasant, and professional but $400 to remove old furniture is ridiculous!

These guys are a joke, so expensive. I tried to hire them 5 years ago. Asked them for an estimate to clean out a warehouse. I laughed when they told me and got two guys and did myself. Stay away, these are funny.

It took two trips, but Tom and Rickey and Andy got it all! These men were polite and courteous. The job took longer than anticipated, but we are very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend this company and these workers to anyone!

I had some items picked up and the 2 guys that came were Tristen and Brian. They were very professional and polite. I will do more business with you all in the future!

First of all the people moving stuff were very rude about everything. They kept saying stuff to my 6 year old daughter about how she is going to be “bad” when she’s older. They also charged me 100 dollars more than what I was quoted for. Do not use them. They are terrible.

We are a first-time user of your service. The two gentlemen, Bob and Sou (sp) were friendly, courteous, professional and on time. We had only one item yesterday, 8 May. In these times it is nice to have such good folks working for you. We will Definity use your service for a future cleaning out of more junk.

I had two chairs (not heavy—could have put them out myself and wish I had), small ottoman, and a lamp. They came and quoted me $148 plus a $20 disposable fee. I paid and got an email receipt for $258. They added an $80 tip without my permission. Crooked. I emailed the company; no response. It took the two men all of 5 minutes to put my items on the truck.

Excellent customer service. Nathan M. and Jason were friendly and professional and were right on time. They make a great team! I will recommend 800-Got-Junk to my friends and family.

We were cleaning out our barn after multiple moves, so lots of boxes, old furniture, a couple mattresses and a few tires. We scheduled an appointment and were given an arrival window of 4:30pm-6:30pm the next day. The next day they never showed up. Never called. We called them @ around 7:00pm and they said they got backed up and couldn’t make it that day so we scheduled an appointment for the next day at 2:00pm-4:00pm. Again they never showed up. Didn’t call us. Called them at 4:10pm and the customer service representative couldn’t contact the store that was supposed to be providing the service. In conclusion. They didn’t show up to an appointment and didn’t call to notify two days in a row. Horrible service. No receipt because they never made it here to perform a service in the first place.

Eric ** was absolutely fantastic to work with. He showed up right on time, was professional, friendly, and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. I had a lot more junk than I realized, but Eric handled everything efficiently and with a great attitude. He took the time to explain the pricing clearly before starting and made sure I was comfortable with everything. What really stood out was how careful and respectful he was of my space—no mess left behind and no damage while removing items. It honestly felt like a huge weight lifted once everything was cleared out. If you’re looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and easy to work with, I highly recommend asking for Eric **. I’d definitely use 1-800-GOT-JUNK again because of the great service he provided.

My experience with 1-800-JUNK was completely unacceptable. They failed to show up at the promised time, and instead of providing a clear solution, their Vancouver customer service response was essentially, “we’ll try to find another truck,” with no guarantee it would even arrive within a reasonable timeframe. That is not service—that’s disorganization.

Good overall, but even though I’ve had a good customer service experience with one 800 Junk I told them that I had three Bagsters filled, and they quoted me $500 and it ended up being $1000. Did not appreciate that. We thought they would be cheaper than having Bagster pick it up, but it ended up being MORE MONEY. They also charge extra for recycling boxes. Do NOT BELIEVE QUOTES!!! Will use Bagster pickup next time.

Didn't show up when they said they would. Finally called me and said they would arrive at a certain time. Which they did. However, the price was off the chart and I said no.

Job **…After being stood up by another removal service, I called 1-800-GOT-JUNK at 3:30 in the afternoon, desperate to have appliances and a fireproof cabinet removed so we could finish unloading our belongings. A 2 hour appt window went into effect immediately. The local Albuquerque manager, Lawrence **, called within moments to confirm and in less than 20 minutes Jeremy and Moses arrived. They were very polite and professional. Instantly assessed the situation and gave me a reasonable price, then proceeded to load the items on their truck. They worked around the moving crew and made quick work of the task presented to them. I will definitely call this company in the future and not waste time on other providers. I wasn’t able to upload my receipt, but I included the job number and hope Jeremy and Moses are recognized for the great job they did today.
