Do not purchase anything from this company. I bought a generator supposed to be for under warranty for 3 years. After using for 7 months it stopped working. I call them, email them. Their response was “they cannot repair the generator because of maintenance problem”. It no making sense. Falsely advertising and not taking responsibility for it.

Worst television you will ever purchase. Has problem from day 1 of hooking it up. Called their customer service and they tried some stupid reset that made television have lines going through it and now they say take and get it repaired. LOL. What a piece of garbage. DO NOT BUY WESTINGHOUSE. They're garbage all around.

Extremely disappointing. I purchased insurance On a 58 inch TV. After the TV went out less than a year later I Inquired and filed a claim. They told me that they would send me a check. This discluded any type of discount black Friday deal which I got my tv with. I told them there was no way. I'll be able to get the same type of TV 58 inches. For how much they were going to give me and they said tough shit. Horrible company. Horrible call customer satisfaction. Won't help people that pay them money. I recommend going to Costco, and they will allow you to return whatever happens to your t.V. No questions asked. I would give negative stars if I could.

Do not purchase ANY Westinghouse product, especially generators! I purchased a falsely advertised generator which was supposed to come with wheels and a handle and did not. I tried to order it on their site but it was out of stock. Now, one year later, the battery won’t hold a charge. No one sells this particular battery except Westinghouse. During peak hurricane season, this battery is out of stock through Westinghouse until October 19th, or so I was told. As a result, I have a very heavy product which cannot be used and needs to go to the DUMP!!!

I want to share my experience with Westinghouse, a company that has been in business for 130 years. I recently purchased their 14,000 BTU Air Conditioner with Heat Mode, drawn by positive reviews and its appealing features, including WiFi capability, remote control, a dehumidifier, a 3-speed fan, a programmable timer, and a window kit. I ordered it through Amazon for $479.00, eager to set it up in my newly finished sunroom in June. However, I encountered some challenges with customer service that I believe could be improved. I reached out multiple times—over 15 emails and phone calls—trying to obtain a return label, which took longer than expected. After some persistence, I finally received the label and carefully repackaged the unit for return.
I really appreciate the product's features, but I was disappointed with the technical support. After escalating my issue, I spoke with a representative named Seth who informed me that it might take until August for them to receive another unit, which was frustrating. While I am hopeful that this situation can be resolved, I am facing the same issue with the replacement unit; the compressor is not kicking in, and there is no cold air coming from it. I hope my feedback can help in improving the customer service experience for future customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

We were given one Westinghouse tv as a hand me down. Then a few months later, we bought a Westinghouse Roku TV as a replacement for another TV since it was cheap and seemed like a good deal. It has good days and bad.. More bad than good. It freezes up in the middle of a program, the reaction is slow (when you try to rewind, change the volume, etc., it takes forever for the tv to react), the sound quality is horrible.. You have to pretty much turn the TV to the highest volume to hear anything. The picture quality is horrible and glitches during programs. It serves its purpose for now, but I am not a fan of the Westinghouse Brand.

Brand new $1000 pressure washer that ran 1 time and never started after that. I've called and emailed for weeks and getting no good help. I'd love to have my money back or get a new machine but it seems like neither are an option.

I have received the Amazon ePX3500 Westinghouse electric power washer and it was very easy to put together. I particularly like the low "no-tip" profile. I can't wait to use it to power wash my pavers on my patio.

Horrible, the NEW product stopped working after 2 uses and so far it's been a week of back and forth emails with no help so far. Today I spoke to someone live while tried to help but their process is so convoluted it's crazy.

Generator was faulty from the moment I bought it, was never able to start. After troubleshooting with their technical line, and being sent two rounds of parts to try to install myself, after they asked if I was “mechanically inclined”, they came to the conclusion that it needed service, and that I needed to load the 420 pound generator into my truck, and drive it one hour for service. This was a $3000 generator, it hasn’t worked once since I got it. I am well within the #Warranty, and they said they have no further assistance options for me. Absolutely ridiculous.

I purchased a WPY3400 power washer and it would not start, I went through the process they suggested and still would not start. Customer service gave me a location 29 miles away to get it services. This is totally unacceptable with a long wait time for repair. I feel I should get a new unit but this seams to be impossible. A very dissatisfied customer.

I bought a tower fan from Westinghouse. It did not function after a couple of years. I sent pictures of the tower fan to the company. The agent advised me that the problem was with the capacitor and motor. He said he will send the capacitor and motor free of cost. But after interacting with him for about 5 months, I have still not received the spare parts.

I purchased a 10000 watt generator through Amazon last fall. I had to have my main panel replaced to accommodate the generator breaker plus I had three other circuits doubled up so it needed replaced. This spring I poured a slab of concrete and mounted the generator then placed a weather proof generator shed over it. I run the unit and broke it in as directed . A couple weeks later I was mowing and smelled gas, I looked and gas was dripping out of the carb. I called the local dealer and was not pleased with his response. I then contacted Westinghouse, a couple e-mails later I received a new carb. I spent less than an hour and replaced it myself and unit is up and running again. Can't thank Westinghouse enough to allow me to repair it myself. Awesome support.

Great little power washer. It is very powerful and is lightweight. The power sudser is great for washing cars and boats. The narrow nozzles give a deep cleaning. This power washer is very useful for most any application.

I purchased a Westinghouse generator model Wgen7500/9500 portable generator in 2018 it was a good reliable machine UNTIL it nearly caught fire in December 2024. The closest service center was 80 miles away at a pick up and return cost of $150 add in diagnostic cost, parts and labor and the bill would have nearly matched the 850 dollar price tag for a new generator.
I then tried fixing the broken generator myself with the help of Westinghouse Tech support and I wasted 3 weeks of my time and 100 dollars of my money purchasing and trying to fit wrong parts with nothing more than several apologies from them. I have since purchased an inverter/generator made by a different company. Their service center is close, the inverter/generator is light enough to lift in my trunk and they actually sell and refurbish their products. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU PURCHASE!

My generator igen11000dfc, was shipped without four bolts to put the rubber feet on and the handle to transport. Easy to remedy I thought. After explaining what the bolts were for and showing proof of purchase, they could do nothing until unit was registered. After registering generator all I could do was email. After several days they wanted pics to show where the missing bolts were supposed to go. By then I already installed bolts, after figuring out size and thread taper. Very poor customer service. Purchased 1-17-25 Factory Pure #**.

Purchased the Westinghouse 16-in Chrome Metal Pedestal Fan from Rona. Once I got it home and assembled it wouldn’t turn on. I returned it and ordered one online. It’s missing a screw. I reached out to customer service and 7 weeks later still no screw and not able to use my fan. I’m told they might ship the screw next week.

My wife and I went through hurricane Helen. We lost power for a week and a half. We both decided to get a generator. We had the power go off again 2 days ago. Thanks to Westinghouse we had lights. The customer service lady was awesome.

Great price and quick delivery. Once delivered, installed and working great! The install was quick and easy with the provided instructions. The unit was delivered with a 20 foot gas line that was a surprise and came in handy. Would highly recommend this product.

I bought a Westinghouse fan on eBay supposedly new but it had some screws missing. After eventually installing it, the fan failed to work but the light did work. After enlisting the assistance of the Westinghouse customer support (Tracie ** in particular), it became apparent I did not have a working model. Once you install a fan and you get rid of the packaging returning the fan or hiring an electrician becomes more costly than it is worth. I saw that I still wanted the fan since it was so highly rated by Consumer Reports, I just bought it from the wrong seller. Seeing my predicament, they offered a replacement. Both my wife and I are over 70 years old, so saying this is the best customer service of my life means a lot.

We purchased a dual fuel portable generator for use at a primitive campsite, unit is great except for the remote start battery needing to be charged before using. Westinghouse did remedy (almost) the issue but dealing with their customer service negates the quality of the product. If there's to be a next time, I doubt I'd go Westinghouse and that's sad to say.

Not helpful at all. If I could give a -zero star I would. Had issues from out the box. Contacted Westinghouse and have been getting the run around for about a month now. Couldn’t get the generator I purchased working at all during a huge storm and power outage. Sat in my garage and still is because I can’t get any help. 5 different ppl I have gone through for help and not a single step forward. Absolutely horrible customer service and support would not recommended AT ALL.

Called customer service to find out if they're generator made square waves or sine waves. Push the button number three for it questions about technical support. Got a person on the phone who said she didn't know. Said somebody would call me back. No one called me back.

We purchased a wgen9500df generator in December to use as a backup power source so we could use our fridge and landline to call 911 if needed. On the 2nd use of it during a power outage, it stopped producing power. We contacted Westinghouse who took our info saying we would be called in 2 business days. 2 weeks later they emailed to tell us to contact a Canadian company to help us. They took our info, thanked us and said they would forward it to Westinghouse! No one is returning our calls. It is now July 2nd and we are still without a power backup. No help with warranty.
We have never used it for a medical device, but because our son has cancer, we wanted a generator to use if he ever needs oxygen. It was recommended by his doctor to get a generator. Today I called them again only to be denied warranty because they say it was used for a medical device. No it wasn't! We have not needed oxygen yet, but I can't let my son not breath if he ever needs oxygen during a power outage. I would give zero stars. Major runaround. No warranty coverage on a $2200.00 generator used twice for a reason of theirs that isn't even true. Don't buy from Westinghouse.

Already did one review and gave them 5 stars, just to get the cover that was offered if you do a review. Hadn't used it yet. So I unpacked it and set it up and started from first pull. Ran 2 seconds. Started again, 2-3 pulls, ran about 1 1/2 minutes. Died. Never started again. Said I could send for them to repair. Was bran new and they wanted to repair it? I was going on a trip in 2 days and needed it. Had to use my trip $ to buy a new generator because had to wait to get back on my bank.

Run as fast as you can. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and decided to take a gamble. Bad choice. My 65" Smart TV quit working after 9 months. I provided a copy of my receipt and the pictures they required. I received an approval for the credit to be issued and told it could take up to 45 business days. Well, it's past the 45 days and I keep getting nothing but lies. I'm told they will call me back and they don't. The supervisors are as bad as the other customer service reps. I'm convinced this is a scam and they do everything to make you quit so they don't have to return any money. I'm not quitting. However, avoid the frustration and buy another brand.

We purchased the Westinghouse WPX Pressure Washer less than a year ago. This product worked great, for only the 1st FOUR times. Within less than a minute of attempting to use it for the 5th time, the engine completely locked up. (Less than 30 hours!!!!) Customer service is a JOKE! Submitted assistance request via the Westinghouse website over 3 weeks ago.
Since then, we have been issued THREE different case numbers, spoke to SEVEN different customer service reps, spent hours on the phone, were told the case was being “escalated” by three separate customer service reps and they NEVER followed-up within the 2-3 business days we were promised until AFTER the one-year labor warranty had expired. Then, MIRACULOUSLY, customer service responds after WEEKS of tireless communications!! Do NOT waste your time or money on any Westinghouse product!!!! Have an abundance of digital documentation I can share demonstrating incompetent customer service and delay tactic utilized by this company!

I bought a 28000 watts generator from Westinghouse. Put 4 year warranty on it. First month using it broke down. Contact Westinghouse. They sent me to this service an hour from my house. After 2 months got a call saying it’s ready to be picked up.. Got there. The owner says they never paid for his services. So I end up paying $600 dollars in order to take the generator. Now I’m trying to get my money back. Westinghouse says they only pay for half of it. Taking them to court. Don’t buy from Westinghouse. Poor customer services. Worst quality…

My husband bought a generator 2 years ago which is propane/gas run. He bought a warranty for it. After a few months of using it it broke down/caught on fire. He wanted his money back but Westinghouse sent him a new one which also broke down. He again wanted his money back and was told to bring it to a local service center. The service center can’t get parts for it from Westinghouse. The first warranty was not restarted with the new generator. He just wants his money back!!! No one at Westinghouse will allow that to happen. I’m still fighting to get some satisfaction. I have no generator and no one seems to help.
