TV image became un-viewable from internal issues, needing to jump through hoops for a replacement, terrible support based in Philippines that don't speak good English. A requirement to recycle the TV before getting a replacement.

I brought a Westinghouse 43 inch Roku tv and whenever I want to watch any streaming channels like Netflix or Hulu I have to keep unplugging the tv and plug it back up to get any sound. And this isn’t the first time this happened either… Just giving a heads up.

I purchased a brand new igen 4500 and from the beginning I was experiencing issues. I had to take it to a service center twice to get repaired and the unit only has 5 hours of total run time!! Even when I took it to the service center they respectfully told me that these generators are made very poorly and break down all the time. After they replaced what Westinghouse told them to replace the unit still ran poorly. I have been calling westinghouse for over a month and no one will answer nor call me back. Since I wasn't getting a response from them I tried to diagnose the unit my self. I turned it on and the unit started to spark and caught on fire. My niece was close by playing and could have gotten seriously injured but westinghouse still doesn't care and won't return my calls. Do not waste your money on these pieces of junk. Everyone I know has had to return their units due to them not running correctly and when there is an outage they simply can't be relied upon.

I purchased a 55” TV and it worked well for a few months (purchase the extra warranty or just buy a different brand). The remote only works for the power button now, HDMI ports have constant issues playing sound, constantly opens Google Play in the background even tho the remote has no batteries. Using it without the remote doesn’t work as the TV itself doesn’t have all the buttons on it to function fully. Tried several universal remotes and none have been able to connect. It may seem like a deal when you're purchasing it but I would say pay the extra couple hundred bucks and purchase a decent brand as this one is complete garbage.

I paid for a Westinghouse Power generator and was sent a wpower.com/bonus registration card to rate their product and receive a generator cover for my $1,200 dollar product FREE of charge. I provided my review and never received any cover or got a response to my inquiry about this with Westinghouse. Item purchased was the Westinghouse iGen4500 Super Quiet Portable Inverter Generator 3700 Rated & 4500 Peak Watts, Gas Powered, Electric Start, RV Ready, CARB Compliant.

Only buy this if you do not have a cap on your internet. I have a cap of 160gb per month. Within 2 1/2 days it used 62 gb of data. You cannot change the display to stream at a lower speed. Very disappointing. I am returning it to the place where I purchased it.

For such a large screen TV (52 inches) it has excellent sound quality and I love having a Roku built-in. The picture is crisp and clear and with this TV being a 4K, it really does make all the difference!

I have a Westinghouse 48” smart television. The television works really good. The picture is very clear and the colors are great. However, it takes several seconds for the screen to warm up before it comes on. And the remote is not very user friendly. It has to be pointed directly at the television and the buttons pushed really hard to control anything on the television. I’d seriously consider a different brand if I were to purchase a new television.

My Westinghouse TV has clarity, just the right degree of sharpness and coloring. It looks very natural. I love the Roku aspect of it. I haven’t had any problems with it. I bought it 8 months ago. I have decided this product is worth making known my opinion of it which I seldom do.

I bought Westinghouse 50 inch tv in November. Within 3 months lots of jumping lines started appearing on screen. I called customer care and spoke to them regarding warranty, they did not respond properly. After couple of call they said they will refund the price excluding tax. Why would customer pay the tax for a product defect. They are not ready to replace or repair the product.

I evaluate the Westinghouse as a quality brand and very dependable. It satisfies its capabilities and specifications as written and I highly recommend this generator. Shipped and received with no damage.

The company says they will send you a cover when you provide a review of the product. They never do, and customer service NEVER EVER EVER answers an inquiry. It's a very big disappointment. The product itself has all around the best specs for the price.

I would highly recommend this Westinghouse generator because I've had the opportunity to use mine twice so far. The power went out, and I connected my refrigerator, upright freezer, the television, lights. And entertainment system. My generator just kept right on pushing out the voltage needed to power my appliances. I recently purchased an electric fireplace heater. If the power ever goes out in the winter, then I'll see how it performs with the heater as well. All said and done, it has the watts needed to get the job done, and it also runs on gas or propane.

This thing is a work horse, The only downside it is very NOISY. I thought it wouldn't be this loud but it is. So if you're looking for something you need for your home you better have long extension cords. One doesn't want to hear this thing too close to one's home.

Westinghouse is a good generator and comes in handy when needed. It's best in an emergency and very easy to use and instructions are very handy also. I'm glad that I have this generator in my possession.

I have seen the latest electronics or new that they are making with old tech parts to make loads of money. Built with old bluetooth, network cards, screens older CPU's and memory chips. They are putting out junk, They don't work like suppose to or dies within 2 years.

You have to wonder about the products as they try to get you to leave a review in exchange for a "free generator cover" - and then never send the cover (been over a month now), nor follow-up on multiple (8?) contact attempts (been 2 weeks now since the first attempt) other than an automated reply to say "we're busy". Then, when you leave an updated review outlining this misrepresentation, they deny the less-than-positive review with an email that says "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time!" So, they trick you in to leaving a review, and only allow positive reviews. This is not indicative of ethical company. Sad really. I thought the generator seemed decent.

I bought this 55” 4K tv from Canadian Tire on SALE for low price of $289. When asking questions to staff about the mountain of Christmas TVs they seemed to be dodging the questions, so cheap I bought it, I mean 4K. How bad can it be? Absolute garbage, 5 min after getting home the colours and settings were wrong, and it freezes a lot on digital antenna signal, YouTube, pretty much every day I have to reset it, asking Canadian tire for help they said to bring back to store and exchange, for another piece of junk, but at least they do offer exchange. Anyway the solution they said, Westinghouse told them to tell customers to unplug the tv and plug back in. I gotta do this every-time?
Sometimes it does it three times a day, the remote connects/disconnects constantly, now after 1 yr, I notice black Smokey spots all over the screen, cleaned it, still there, all the time it freezes, Xbox one the ratio of graphics is a second slow to reaction to remote, it really sucks totally, worst tv I ever bought, my next tv will be the same brand as my last 50 inch tv Vizio, which is 14 yrs old now and still works perfect Vizio is made by Panasonic. That’s where I will purchase next, and this westinghouse will be tossed in the garbage or used as a crappy garage tv. SHAME ON YOU Westinghouse!!! Oh and,, no mute on remote, stupidest remote I ever seen, no numbers. Doesn’t work half the time and connects disconnects,

Bad quality, only last 3 years, picture colors all faded and went out. This TV was a waste of money! Bad quality only lasted 3 years. WE bought it at Target here where we live 3 years ago, it is dead now, we hardly used it, the picture is shot, colors fade, colors go in and out or black and white, it started acting up a month or two ago, and now is almost impossible to watch or enjoy. WE bought this on sale at Target the 55 inch Westinghouse for about $240 at Christmas time. Westinghouse obviously does not make good quality TV's anymore. You would think a TV would last 5 to 10 years or more like they used to. Now you are lucky if they last 3 years. Buyer beware with this tv, the picture will start to go after just a few years. They are made cheap and not meant to last long. Spend more and buy something of better quality. This was a very disappointing purchase.

Updated on 02/11/2020: This is a update on WH TV WD50UK4550 serial number 0680v63000260. So they have done nothing at all for me. All I hear is I, "We are sorry you are having trouble with your tv." The customer care is the worst I have ever seen and I truly mean that. They have promised me the moon and gave me 0. I ask to speak to a higher up manager or someone that's in charge. Well that's a big no. I have told them I live on disability and can't afford to mail them this 50 inch tv to them and get insurance. The people in customer service will tell you just what you want to hear and not the truth. I know the refund policy says to mail it. I know I should have read it first but a friend picked it up for me. They work at the store I got it from.
I keep asking them CS if I could take it to a repair place that they work with near me. CS people say, "We have sent your request to higher up management." Now I have been calling almost everyday. I know that's a lot but I want something to move. I'm home with no tv at all and this has been going on for too long but I'm just a another number to them. They don't care. I'm sure they have one tv that is I can almost promise my so called request is laying on a desk somewhere. I can say this. I will never buy from that company again and if you are smart you will not either because it's clear they do not care about their customers. I bet the man that started that company did he would have already took care of it and the customers are what makes a company not them. I don't guess. TY for your time. Donna. PS please overlook my spelling.
Updated on 02/07/2020: Westinghouse is giving me the runaround about my 4 month old tv WD50K4550. They are now telling me that I have to mail them this 50 inch tv and put insurance on it and get this pay for it myself out of my pocket. It's only 4 months old. It's still under warranty that it's a joke warranty and I'm 56 live on disability. My little check probably wouldn't cover it. Wow unbelievable and they do not care.
When you call the customer care that's even more crazy. All you hear is, "I'm So Sorry For The Inconvenience," really! I have talk to a manager. Lol. He said he would call me back the next day on his word. Lol. Lol what? He never called back. Yes I know I should have looked into them before I bought the tv but it's WH. Right? This why I'm doing this so that other people will see this and maybe learn from my expensive mistake and please think twice before buying from Wh. I'm at the end of my rope. I'm without a tv and cannot afford to buy a another one and they do not care at all but they are sorry for my inconvenience. Thank you. Donna.
Original Review: I bought this tv at a store in Knoxville Tennessee by Westinghouse. Ok first I saw that it has a long, long reaction to the remote delay then the picture went out on it. It's only 3 months old. I couldn't believe it. I call westinghouse. They say, "Well let's try this that and another thing." Nothing worked and that is if you could understand the person on the phone with you. They tell me, "Well you have to do this and then this." o and by the way you have to pay for this big wd50k4550 tv sent to them. What really. Don't buy tv from them. Really don't.

Bought this TV on Nov 3 2018 and on Dec 8 it quit. No power, just a black screen, called Westinghouse and as it was over their warranty period would do nothing after they walked me through a reset procedure. Was told too bad, and as they don't have a repair location near to me they could not even recommend a location to have it looked at. I have since found lots of bad reviews online.

I purchased a Westinghouse TV approximately three years ago. Until now, it’s worked fine, but now that I no longer use cable, I need to use an antenna. I purchased a couple of antennas and installed them on my Samsung TVs with no problems. When I went to do the same on the Westinghouse, an error code came up and stated that I needed a code to access the antenna port and I needed to call in or go online to do it. What?!?! Whoever heard of needing a code to use an antenna? I reached customer service and was given a case number for reference. I then went through all the different steps of trying to use the antenna with the agent. Very frustrating experience! She concluded that my tv was broken and I needed to take it to a television repair shop. Huh? I don’t think so- my brother is a television repair man (for many many years) who has never encountered this type of problem.
It seems the remote will not allow me to go to the page where the code is entered. Remember- the tv was working fine until now. Why would a company require a code to access something that is supposed to be included in the tv. I even have an Emerson that also was an easy switch to the antenna. I will NEVER purchase another television from this company. I have had appliances that worked beautifully- they should just stick to the appliance business and stay away from televisions. What an incredible rip off. They know their TVs are flawed and they offer no solution!
