After several misinformed and aggressive attempts to argue with me, the company refunded the labor costs. I consider this a partial resolution, which was reached only due to my persistence and refusal to fully back down. Overall, a single store manager and a single customer service agent facilitated a workable compromise, but the company never took responsibility and could have done a better job fully rectifying this situation.

I worked with a member of the Abt sale team to select a hood that would work in my kitchen. After guiding me to an appropriate hood, the salesperson then upsold me on their in-house cabinet customization service. Supposedly, they would cut the cabinet above my range down to the appropriate size to accommodate the new hood and its required clearance from the range top. I took three days off of work -- the first for the initial consult where the Abt employee took a bunch of measurements, the second for the day they came to remove the cabinet, and the third for the day they scheduled to come back and install the hood and cabinet. After the crew came to remove the cabinet, I noticed them taking lots of pictures. I asked why and then said they needed to make sure the measurements were right. I asked whether someone would call me if the measurements were not right, and they answered in the affirmative.

A week later I had not heard from Abt, so I emailed my salesperson to find out "if there was a problem" given the fact that the team that took down the cabinet took so many pictures. She said no and confirmed the installation date. On the date of the installation, however, the crew installed the cabinet and then determined that the cabinet has been customized incorrectly and now a new hole would need to be drilled in the brick outside wall of my home. They looked up my order and the notes and pictures from Abt's prior visits and told me this was Abt's mistake. After consulting with the head installer "Vito," however, they changed their tune and told me that I should have had a different contractor out between their visits to drill a previous hole. I asked how I would have even known to have done this when they were the ones who supposedly specialize in this type of installation, took all the measurements and customized my upper cabinet. They had no answer.

They left with my kitchen unusable and the large range hood on the floor of my dining room. In a written email to my salesperson and Vito, I demanded they either complete the job (I had paid in full in advance including the fee for the botched cabinet customization and the fee for the installation) or restore the kitchen to its original state. No response. I forwarded the email to customer service. No response. I will now pursue remedies through local media outlets, the Illinois AG's office, and private action, all of which will cost more money and take up more time. Buyer beware: Abt is offering a service and implementing with uncaring employees with no effective communications between the sales team and the installation team.

Mike I am sorry for the miscommunication on your order. We are not able to provide a new vent on the 3rd floor. We do not have the means to do this and a venting company is required. We did take responsibility and refunded your labor charges that can be used toward a venting company to complete the work for you.

Never received an acceptable wall oven. I did returned two damaged ovens. Ordered in May and over five months later, still no oven. I just checked my order - Abt has discontinued this product and started my refund without notifying me. Would have liked the opportunity to discuss a replacement product, but was never given the chance. The two shipments for this oven were both damaged. It also took three shipments to get an acceptable dishwasher (thanks Abt for reinforcing the packaging on the third one). The four retuned appliances all looked like they had been dragged behind the truck. Started a chat session with "Rachel" and she asked what the issue was but they never responded after I identified my problems with submitting a review on their site. Over ten minutes without a response to my "Hello?" so I closed the session and started here.

I bought two Electrolux dishwashers 13 years ago from Abt and they never worked well. I had repair people come out at least twice, and was told that this is the way new dishwashers work, ie not well. I had the floor replaced in my kitchen 3 months ago, and in the process the dishwashers had to be removed. The contractor told me that the dishwashers were incorrectly installed- the hole in the neighboring cabinet was not in the right place, leading to the water supply/drain being kinked. In addition there was no safety switch, no ground wire, and the whip was too short. I spoke to several service people to complain, of course for naught. I was told I needed some evidence to back this up, but of course the contractor had not taken pictures. The contractor also told that my subzero frig (also purchased and installed from Abt) was incorrectly installed.

Avi installation from 13 years ago is difficult to determine how the lines were kinked. When the lines kink there is usually an error code on the unit or it will malfunction on draining or filling. Unfortunately after 13 years there is not much than can be done other than reinstalling the units. I was very happy with the customer service we received from Abt. When I chose the cooktop we purchased, they provided info on shipping time etc. with UPS right away. I knew I couldn't be home to sign for it at the scheduled time so I contacted customer service via the chat feature they offer. Within minutes someone contacted me by email and then by phone to try to arrange a different shipping time with UPS.

It was rescheduled for the time I asked by the next day. Then UPS dropped the ball and didn't deliver it as promised, Again Abt went to bat and made sure it was delivered the next day. They went the extra mile for us and were really fast and thorough in their customer service as well as delivery of the product. It was in great shape when it arrived. At a time in our lives when so many appliance products are scarce, they had a lot of product availability. When I checked Lowe's & Home Depot their appliances were not available for 6 months! Abt had it within 2 days. Very satisfied!!

The delivery process was smooth and seamless. I received a text message in the morning stating who the driver was, and the truck number. They gave a two hour window of when they would show up. I received another text message about a half hour before their arrival. They arrived within a minute or two of one time they said they would. Both of the delivery people were wearing masks and booties. They made sure they kept my house clean, and picked up all the garbage before they left. They clearly explained the instructions of the items I had purchased. Before they left, they made sure that I was very satisfied with the items, and with their installation work as well. I am very happy with the purchases I made, and I am equally happy with the quality and timeliness of Abt’s delivery service.

I ordered Thrustmaster pedals and I was well aware that a special order would take some time. 7-21 days to ship is stated, though it's been 28 days I haven't received any further emails since my purchase telling me that there is delay or anything and I haven't gotten a reply on my email regarding this, I'm not upset because of how long but more so because I haven't been updated and would've bought from somewhere else if it was going to be this inconvenient.

We went to the store and ordered a washer. Was told that it was in stock and it took 3 weeks for a item in stock to be delivered. Then on the delivery date they call at 8:20 am and told that the delivery would be between 6 pm to 9 pm. What the hell. It is now, 9:10 pm and no delivery yet.

I built a brand new home last year, I spent over $30,000.00 on all new Bosch and Whirlpool appliances. ABT had no problem selling, delivering and installing (at an additional cost) all the products. This is a summer house so I used the appliances for 2 months, in May I went back to the lake house and the Bosch fridge was not making ice or dispensing water, I called ABT, they said, "We don't service your products since you are 120 miles from ABT. You need to call Bosch." I called Bosch and Bosch said to call ABT.

Yesterday I went to the lake and my Whirlpool washer is not running a spin cycle, I again call ABT, I talk to a salesperson, I tell her my story on the fridge. She puts me on a brief hold and returns to assure me they will service the product. She then transfers me to service where they tell me they don't service my products. She gives me the phone number to Whirlpool, I ask, "Do I need any other information?" She says "I don't know". I said, "Get me someone that does know." Someone else gets on the phone and says, "You will need the serial #," and she gives it to me.

I called Whirlpool and they said they need the model # and purchase date as well, so I have to call ABT back. 30 min later I have the information. All the products were delivered and installed on 7/21, problem is I did not take possession of the new house till 8/11, so now the washer is out of warranty. By the way all the back and forth phone calls took over three hours and by the time I got the information Whirlpool was closed for the day. PLEASE DO NOT use ABT, they have gotten too big and don't care about customers, buy from a smaller place who still care about customers and customer service.

Delivery was, as usual, on time, while delivery drivers exceeded my expectations (patient, helpful, - moved a couple pieces for me even helping me bring in a chair from another vendor and helping put on back of chair). I am, however, not happy with Flexsteel as this is my second piece that has damage or imperfections (leather has 4-6 inch area on seat which has glossy/shiny or blotchy spot as if something was spilled on it - feels slippery instead of smooth, different from the rest of leather)… Drivers took a picture of it and I sent it to my sales person who I’m sure will respond to me when she can, to address problem/concern. I did exchange the first sofa, return the other for squeaky noises and stitching imperfections, etc. and I remain happy with the return policy @ ABT but I’m not very confident in flexsteel. I’m assuming it’s them who is not doing a thorough quality check on their furniture before sending to retailers/ABT.

I have had nothing but problems with Abt. My husband and I went to the store to purchase a new range and hood. After much deliberation, we decided on BlueStar. We were aware that it would take several weeks before the appliances came in, and we were prepared to wait. When the order was placed, we were told that there was a hood in-stock. Since we knew these items weren't usually in stock, we asked if the hood was a return. We were assured by the salesman that it was not coded as a return in the inventory system. We decided to take the hood that day and install it ourselves. When the hood was brought to our car, it was packaged in two separate boxes, which seemed unusual for a high-end brand. Again, we asked if this was a return and were told that it was not.

My husband tried to install the hood the next day only to discover that it was missing a piece. Upon further inspection, we found the packaging slip that showed this hood was ordered for a different customer. We contacted Abt and were repeatedly told that this was not a return. Given the circumstances, we requested a new hood. While we were already annoyed with what had transpired, we agreed to have a loaner hood until the new hood and range were in stock.

A few months later, we were told the hood and range were both in stock and would be installed on June 14th. Both appliances were delivered, but neither were able to be completely installed. We were told the range needed to be calibrated, which still has not been done after more than a week. Also, the hood was again missing the same piece as before, so it could not be installed. The technicians left the hood on our dining room table and told us that someone from Abt would be in contact with us.

After a week, we still don't have the hood installed. After some back and forth with the salesman, I called Abt today and was told that the earliest the hood could be installed would be on July 12th, nearly a month after it was supposed to be installed. This would be a month of not having a hood, so not being able to fully use the stove and not having a dining room table. I was also supposed to receive 24 months of 0% financing, but was only given 12 months. This has now, hopefully, been rectified, but required another phone call to sort out.

I will say that our salesman has been great and I have no complaints about him. However, he seems to be the only person willing to help us. Numerous calls to the service department and management have been for naught. It's only when the salesman is involved that we get a resolution to the problems. We chose Abt because friends and family have had very positive experiences, but that has not been our experience.

Awful. Just awful. Synchrony advised that the female verifications rep that handles these types of calls for Abt should be better trained or let go. I happen to fully agree.

Redid my kitchen and bought all my appliances from ABT - high-end refrigerator, built-in oven stove top, oven range, microwave and dishwasher. This was a year ago... I had to replace my fridge 2x, and now my Thermador oven is faulty and someone just came out today to replace the motherboard and left without my oven working so now I have to wait again at least a week before someone else can come out - I was told by 2 customer service representatives and a technician that I shouldn’t use the self-clean mode on the oven “bc this sort of thing happens...” so why would a rep sell me an oven like that knowing the self-clean mode is faulty? I am not happy about that - I’m very disappointed with ABT. My mother had a similar experience last month with her washing machine - 3x she had to replace her washer in one month- that’s appalling. In the past year I’ve heard poor feedback but now I’ve experienced it. I will never buy another item from ABT again.

I tried to buy a product through Synchrony Credit Card and then I received an email indicating I have to call them for a verification purpose. I did called them and I talked to the most rude person in the world, uncooperative and one single word answer for each question which is “We can’t process it for you”. I even tried to understand what is the issue so I can work to fix it, but they didn’t tell me. I called my bank and then returned to them, there were a man and he was gentle told me what’s going on. Then I returned and the same girl answered the call and literally she told me “I told you it will not go through, this is your third call, dont call again because we will not receive your call we have other customers etc, super rude, uncooperative, doesn't know how to talk to people, probably there is discrimination based on my accent even more. Thumb down. Not anymore Abt!

I purchased a washer and dryer online for $3500 and it includes shipping, the purchase was smooth. There’s an option for $300 white glove service which would unbox the machines and move them to your desired location at home, but wait for it, the service does not include any installation or hooking up the machines, which means I would have to pay an additional $300 to get an outside technician to do the installation, that will be $600 in total. The machines arrived, after much hassle to get service to have them installed, I eventually spent another $440. Compared to Lowe’s that does the washer hook up for free and Best Buy who charges a small fee. It was a stressful and expensive experience.

I contacted ABT that my Mastercard was used for a fraudulent purchase. They couldn't help me at all. I gave them the exact amount of the purchase (not authorized by me) over $900 and they couldn't help me, maybe someone who works there is doing fraudulent activity.

I purchased a new MacBook Pro on Abt's website. When I received the emailed invoice the product description was completely wrong. I called and their response was, "Let me check". Basically, they went to their own website to "check" and started reading me the description from the site. I said "yes, that's exactly what I ordered but the invoice shows different specs." Then I was called by someone in a different department telling me that my order had already shipped and that the specs on the invoice are correct. I replied "the specs on the page of the website is what I ordered. Not what's showing on the invoice!" I was then told I would have to pay an additional $1300 to get the laptop with the specs I wanted. Unbelievable. Can you say "bait and switch"? First and last times I will do business with Abt...

I ordered an appliance from them and was given an estimated delivery date. The shipper, Pilot, then gave me a specific date. They missed it, and when I called I got the stupid "your call is very important to us..." nonsense. (Yes, just not important enough to answer). I chatted with someone at Abt and she said she'd get back to me, but she never did. I have no idea when or if I will ever receive the appliance.

We've chose ABT Electronics to buy a vacuum because we've had really good experiences with them before! So after buying Dyson cordless vacuum V11 and paying full price for it we came home and opened the box! The bag had full of dirt in it and it wasn't a brand new one! Very disappointed. I called ABT and the CSR said it's a brand new product! Really? She didn't even apologize for it, if it was brand new, how come the bag was full of dirt! It's disgusting especially now with all this virus thing going on! Very disappointed with ABT.

I was contacted by the manager and he was able to arrange for a replacement of both appliances to be sent to me. Both arrived the week of New Year's eve and I was able to get them installed and tested and they are working without any issues.

Before making any purchases online, I do my research, I compare reviews about each product and make my decision on what to purchase, then I look at which company has a solid reputation and also price. In this case I went with ABT. I placed my orders online as I did not want to go in to a store during all that is happening. I did run into a Famous Tate to quickly to see each item personally and I was happy with what I saw. I looked into ABT and saw many good reviews, but also saw a few bad ones. But I gave them a chance. I placed my order Nov 29th for a refrigerator, a range, a over the range microwave and a dishwasher. All were major upgrades to what I currently have and each were the latest and greatest technology. So you can see how excited the entire family was with this purchase.

It took some time but I started to see info on shipping of each appliance. What caught me by surprise was that they were not coming in one shipment and also not from one delivery company. I received my microwave and was waiting for my other appliances to come in so I can get them installed in one sitting instead of having multiple visits from an installer. A few days later I received dishwasher and I was expecting the range and the refrigerator, but only got the dishwasher. I decided to go ahead and start installing before Hanukkah. The microwave was installed and tested. Then I unpacked the dishwasher and gather all parts. But noticed that the door was not opening all the way. After inspecting it thoroughly, I noticed some damaged at the bottom corner of the door which bent it in a way that it would get caught and prevent the door from opening.

While this was happening I got the range delivered to my house. Once it was set in my kitchen, I noticed two holes in the box. The delivery guy left and I went back to dealing with the dishwasher. I called ABT customer support and asked about my fridge...which the CSR response to me made me worried.... "Refrigerator?...(silence)...I will look into this and get back to you".... Then I mentioned the bent door, and the immediate response was that I had to call Samsung and deal with them. Mind you, I never had any dealings with Samsung, I purchased a brand new appliance from ABT and I would expect them to fix any issues I run into before I even have the appliance installed.

I realized that Abt was not wiling to do much about the damaged appliance so I left it at that and tried to "fix" the issue myself. Cosmetically, the issue is still there, but I got the door to close and I went ahead and installed it. So then I decided I needed to inspect the range.... I did not want to open the box as it seems like it would be pretty hard to seal it back up in case I need to send it back to Abt. I put my hand through the holes and felt some dents. I contacted Abt and I was told they need pictures of the damage to assess what the next step would be. I was told that if I opened the box, I would be responsible to get it packaged back up properly for them...so I complied and opened the box.

Good thing I did, that dent was bad...the entire side of the range was bent in at least 1.5 inches. It looked like a fork lift went thru the box and hit the range with such a force that it might have bent the inside of the range as well. The range is not usable....and I was told by the At CSR that they will contact me after they made up their mind if my damages are worth their time. It has been a 2 days and our Hanukkah celebration got ruined. 2 out of 4 appliances were delivered damaged and 1 is missing in action.

I am now very nervous about getting another appliance, which is the most expensive one, with damages and have to deal with returning them and mess up my entire holidays celebration. Needless to say, the joy of getting something new morphed into feeling fear and being mislead. I just hope Abt will fix this without me having to jump through hoops as I did nothing wrong. I just wanted to celebrate the holidays without all of this unnecessary stress.

I used Abt to set up the AV at my new house and have to admit being disappointed. They offer a nice package but it's useless if they don't set up the remotes correctly. Also, the Sony TV I was recommended at $3k already has a line running down the side and of course it's 15mo after purchase so there is no warranty nor support from Abt. When I look at other reviews, it seems to be an issue and whereas I wouldn't expect Abt to necessarily provide a free TV, I would expect a lot more than an offer of $99 to let me know how much it would cost to fix. This is my first time using Abt, and I really expected more.

I ordered a microwave, and a couple of hours after my wife asks about a different microwave. So I get on chat to see if I can edit and change the microwave I ordered, or cancel it and reorder. I was told by the CS person that it was already shipped, so no edits, and if I canceled and reordered I couldn't use my promo code ($25) again. I told her it didn't make much sense, but if that's the case...I don't want to cancel. Our microwave had died, and we were out of a micro. Everything seems fine, and then the day it's supposed to be delivered I checked with UPS and it's been re-routed BACK TO SENDER?!? It seems even after I told her not to cancel, she did anyways. My wife was pissed!

Obviously, I called customer service and asked to talk to a manager. I will admit that I was upset, but I didn't scream and I kept it under control. In the end, I got $40 off the microwave and have to wait an extra (7) days! But, that's not the best part...Every time I talked to customer service I got some salty gal, acting like all this was my fault!!!

I ordered a dryer for my daughter, To be delivered and installed. They scheduled a delivery date and time, And never called, Never showed up. I went to their website to track the order, And they have no tracking info for it. I eventually found out it was being shipped from GE via RAS delivery service. So I went to GE to track it. They still say it's being delivered...Yesterday, And have no updated status for it. And no way to contact them or the delivery service. Now my daughter has no dryer because they already removed the old one, No info on where the hell her new dryer is, Or if it's even coming. I'm not stupid though, I paid for it using PayPal just in case this was a scam company, and it is. I will be doing a full chargeback on them. And never deal with Abt again.

I purchase a NEW HP laptop from Abt.com during the COVID situation for my son's educational needs. I purchased this on 26th April 2020. As of 7/13 the laptop stopped working and when I run the system test it stated that the Hard disk has failed and to contact the HP customer care. As per the ABT product details information my laptop has 1-year manufacturer parts and labor warranty.

Since it is just 3 months of my purchase I scanned the QR code which was displayed after the test to connect to HP for the services and what I saw was that the warranty of the product has already expired. I tried it a number of times to make sure that I scanned it right and I got the same result all the time. At this time I was so upset because for the money I paid I thought I had received an old stock or an used product.

So only way to get this addressed was to call ABT customer care. These are the events that unfolded which has put me in a state of complete disappointment with the product and the company's customer care. I called the customer care on 7/13 evening and I was put on hold for almost 20 minutes and realized that they are closed for the day. So I called them again on 7/14 morning around 9:30 am and place a complaint. Of course, I did not get an answer, I was placed on hold for a long time and I was told that I will be called back. I did not receive a call and I called them back around 3:30 pm and I was on hold to get connected with customer care for around 50 minutes and get connected to a technician in UK.

The options that he provided was that we come down to the store in Illinois or ship the product to store to get it fixed at your own cost. So I was curious. I asked we are in full warranty and totally upset that the hard disk failed in less than 2 months for a product that is new and we also said we are from Kirkland WA and coming to Illinois is not an option. He is was so rude that I don't know where you are from and I am from UK. Now I don't expect that kind of response from customer care who is suppose show some customer obsession and help them. He cut on us. Being in a world with best customer service like Amazon this feels so disappointing and upsetting that we are not getting right kind of service.

I had search every business to purchase a new dishwasher and didn’t want to drive all the way to ABT to view their products due to social distancing/stay at home orders/Safety. I went to view the options on the abt electronics website but was still unsure on what to buy. The chat came on and I began chatting with the associate who decided to call and walked me through all the different type of dishwashers and their cost/efficiency. He even offered a coupon. The associate made sure I chose the right dishwasher, proper installation add ons and anything that will make the delivery/installation process smooth. It was installed on 7/9 and the person who installed was very knowledgeable and professional. He made sure it was installed right and corrected the installation issue that the previous dishwasher had. I’m so impressed with my dishwasher. I’m definitely shopping again and again. Booked a service appointment to repair a Subzero refrigerator on Mon for the earliest on Fri, the site asked if I had bought it from ABT. Gave model No and age. Called to ABT to see if I could get an earlier appointment. Provided all the information again and was put on a standby list for an earlier appointment. The fee was $219. No one showed up 'til FRI evening 4pm and spoke to a service representative who connected me with Irwin or Elliot the Service manager who then informed that as I did not buy it they are a private Co and will not service it. When asked, "Why do you not tell me that when I booked online or called" he asked for the Sr No. after which he said can’t service it because it’s too old and can’t get parts for it.

I informed him that parts were available for this model with Midwest parts which was a supplier for Subzero just as ABT. He said, "Can’t repair. It's too old. You will waste your money etc etc" not wanting to honor the appointment. One excuse after the other. Wasting 5 days waiting and time spent on the phone. Finally called subzero cares who came the next day. Added Freon for $120 and fridge works fine. ABT was not willing to provide the service contracted and seemed to want me to spend $8000 on a new fridge. Total scam.

Hi San, Sorry for the confusion on your service call appointment. If the unit was not purchased at Abt then we cannot service it. That should have been told to you when setting up the call and I am sorry that was not done. Depending on the age of the unit, Yes we sometimes do recommend purchasing a new unit. In our experience we have noticed the repairing of aged units is just temporary "bandaid" repairs and our customers spend a lot on service calls throughout at 12 month period.

I had never heard of nor ordered from ABT before. I was looking to order 3 Facebook television portals to use to visit my grandchildren and children from home while being quarantined. I searched everywhere including my Amazon and every site I saw when I google them. I found very few and what I did find the price was doubled or more. I called the facebook number for their portals and as if they knew of anyone who had any left. They gave me the list of 5 companies. I called all of them and the first 4 had none left and were on backorder for months down the road. The last company she gave me was ABT. I went to their site and was a little cautious as I had never heard of them. I am older and these days it is easy to get third party sellers where you give your money and then you never hear from them again!

I was pleased with ABT that I saw an actual phone number I could call. That made me a little less cautious. So I called them but at the time I called the office was closed. So I took the risk and order all 3 portals at the same price they were before the beginning of Covid 19. (What is very cool is later ABT called me back anyway to see if I had found what I was looking for when I first call and they were so nice. I was very impressed). The Portals arrived just a few days later exactly as they said. I did not have to pay extra shipping which was a nice perk as everyone is charging extra shipping right now. I was truly amazed that they arrived on time in just a few days. I am an Amazon Prime member and swear by it. However, with the Covid 19 even if I order from Amazon right now instead of the regular 2 day shipping sometimes the products that are in demand you have to wait a month or more for. So I was thrilled that the portals arrived on time.

We set them up that night. One in my home and one in each of my children's. It has been such a blessing. I could not be happier. We have used them every day and we all get to see each other on the TV and have such fun. (I am loving these portals!) I have been quarantined since the beginning of March and now it is the beginning of April. I expect I may still be quarantined for a month or more. I cannot begin to tell you how much it means to me to be able to see my children and my grandchildren. I truly think I would have become quite sad if I would have had to go that long without my family. This has given me the ability to do that and I am loving it!

I cannot thank ABT enough for being an honest company. They could have increased their price and made money off this covid 19 like so many are doing. But they didn't, which when your living on just your social security can make a world of difference As well as they lived up to their word and the portals received exactly when they said they would. The lady I talked to there was so nice as well. I would certainly do business with them again. It is hard to find companies like this these day. Thanks again ABT/Mb.

I ordered a Sharp Convection Microwave from ABT, received and installed it on the microwave shelf. The microwave stopped working after about 15 days. Call ABT to return it and was told to place the boxed microwave on the porch for UPS pickup on Monday. The microwave sat on the porch until it was picked up on Friday, had to call twice before ABT really issued a UPS pickup. Received our replacement microwave last night and installed it on the shelf. The door would not close. Boxed it back up for return. We have now been without a microwave for over a month.

I have to tell you that recently my sister-in-law bought a refrigerator from Best Buy. Evidently Best But don't have service people that work for them to install. They have an outside source that they deal with to do the installation. Long story short, they delivered the refrigerator and the guys that delivered it dropped in on the driveway and broke a part and didn't tell my sister-in-law and there was water on her floor the next morning.

They replaced the refrigerator and the second one was overheating and the sides were hot. They brought a third and something wrong with that one too so she canceled everything and got her money back. ABT has their own people and are they efficient. These guys were fast and neat and explained everything to me before they left. I got a complete package of four appliances. I could tell that these guys knew what they were doing. They installed everything. leveled it and away they went. They were the best. Thanks to ABT. John **

I bought a YAS 209 soundbar from Amazon but it was sent from ABT. I tried setting it up but could not connect to the internet or use bluetooth. Since it was sent from ABT I contacted ABT and talked to a tech person. We went through the steps with no connection. He advised to return it and asked if I wanted an exchange. I went for the exchange. I returned the unit and within 5 days including the day I went to UPS to return it I received the new unit. I was able to set it up quickly and everything worked. Am very pleased with the product. Sounds great and Alexa works great. I would not hesitate to buy from the seller again.

I ordered a mixer in November 2019, the promised shipping was 1-2 weeks with a delivery on Dec 3-9, 2019. It is now December 16, 2019. I contacted customer service about this purchase and shipment. The only response was that the purchaser is aware of the delay and says the product will be delivered this week but has no additional information as the when or how. How does that help or answer the question of where my order is and why hasn't it been shipped?

This is a $500+ order that is already a week past the latest delivery promise and you still can't give any guaranteed information as to when the product will be shipped or delivered. But customer service assured me that she will update me with current shipping details once she gets them. Really, that is something every online business already does through email! Beware of false shipping estimates prior to purchasing. Terrible customer service as well! With such great reviews, I felt sure this was a safe purchase. The consumer should think twice before making a large item purchase from this company.

I received a text message a few minutes after 7 am with an approximate delivery time of 1 pm to 4 pm. The delivery team then called me after their previous delivery (a little after 1) to let me know that they would be here in about 5 to 10 minutes. They were courteous and made sure that they did not damage either the old one or the new one. They used the masonite protection on the floor for removal of the old and installation of the new. The time they spent after removing the old fridge for prepping the new one outside gave me just enough time to wash the floor in the spot that it was going. They made sure that the new refrigerator started up properly after it was set up and asked if we had any further questions. They did a great job.

Salesperson was helpful in assisting with validating my shopping research and explaining pros/cons of shopping decisions. The delivery team couldn't have been more professional and courteous. While I understand that my dwelling's staircase presented an enormous challenge, they were able to conquer the task. However, I am a little disappointed that additional materials (moving-style blankets, etc) were not used to further minimize the minor damage that was done to walls during appliance removal and replacement (they did try their best), And that no accommodation was given towards damage...whatever that could be(?). Our 20 year old Sub Zero died so it was time to purchase a new refrigerator. I spent at least two weeks researching, models, brands, option, features etc. We knew what we wanted and went to ABT. We had bought several appliances from them before. Our salesperson was wonderful as they all are. Great experience because you develop a relationship with these guys. It does pay to research first though. There are so many options on refrigerators these days. We were extremely satisfied with the easy of our purchase.

However, the wrong refrigerator model was delivered. The error was on the manufacturer! Oddly we had been looking for a Black stainless and the model we choose did not come in Black stainless, we we settled for Slate. To our surprise a Black stainless was delivered. So it all worked out. Our salesperson wanted to make sure we were happy and offered to have what we had originally wanted delivered immediately. We are happy with what came but still don't understand how, where they found this Black stainless. Thank you ABT for being a sold company with a fantastic Warranty Package.

We ordered a Whirlpool 26 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Side By Side Refrigerator - WRS586FIEMSS, a JennAir Down Draft JES1750FSS Slide In Range and a GE Space Saver Microwave. The large appliances were delivered by JD Hunt who unpackaged them in the truck and brought them in the house. UPS delivered the GE Microwave. All flawless. I purchased a fridge from abt 10 months ago and it only worked until last month. I set up repairs after my tenant lost an entire fridge of food. They showed up and said it was fixed but it only lasted 6 days before breaking again and my tenant lost another entire fridge of food. They set appointments and didn’t show up. After having my tenant take 5 days off work to meet the repair guy it still isn’t fixed and will have to ask them to miss work again for the sixth time to maybe get it fixed. In the meantime my tenant is going on almost a month without a fridge besides losing almost $700 dollars worth of groceries, and every time I speak to someone there I get excuses and a different story on what’s going on. Very disappointed and will never do business with them again!!!!

We encountered a problem with the installation of two replacement microwaves - the trim kits for the new appliances didn't work. Israel did a wonderful job of identifying the issue and developing a solution (taking exact measurements and returning to ABT where custom trims will be made). He and Tim ** took a personal interest in addressing our concerns. I was told the pricing should be very comparable to the factor trim kits. Wonderful customer service.

No matter what Sales always great and pleasant. The real incredible part when something isn't right with a item. Even though they do not need to do what they do. How about buying a microwave and 6 months later wife isn't happy with the light. You know they won't deal with this. You would be wrong! They actually drove out and installed it. (Really. Who does that?) How about a stove? Wife drops a spice jar and chips the paint. (Mfg issue not ABT.) Wife calls fess up. Knows she is going to have spend a couple hundred now. You're wrong again! I went to Abt to purchase a dishwasher in the Bosch 300 series. I also hired Abt to install the dishwasher. Both the salesperson and the installation team knew how Bosch dishwashers differ from most others. Sometimes, the differences can make them tricky to install. But the installation team that came to my home was very experienced and knowledgeable, and they had no problems installing it. The next time that I buy a major kitchen appliance, I am likely to buy it from Abt. And if I suspect that there is anything tricky about the installation, I am definitely going to buy it from Abt.

Delivery person called at 7:30 am on Monday and said he would be by me between 8 and 8:30. I said fine, I should be home but was dropping someone at O’Hare. Sure enough, O’Hare was a nightmare. Got home at 8:20 am and he was unloading the microwave. I apologized and he was so nice about it. Came in and took out the old microwave and said we may have a problem. Met with, and got estimates from, Abt, Sears, Home Depot and Lowe's. I understand system defines price and options, but worth comparing since they all provided bids on replacing the same system (2 Ton, 8 SEER system). Abt was $3200 (13 Seer, 2.5 Ton (not 2 Ton, at my request). Lowe's was close and could have easily been chosen at $3300 to $3600 for slightly different model. Home Depot stepped up the unit (13 SEER, 3 Ton) and was $4700. Sears put on a power point presentation top emphasize the value - but had no way to ever get there - with the smallest unit (2 Ton, 13 SEER) they wanted $5800, or $2500 more than Abt for a smaller unit.

This is my second major purchases from Abt. They have all their own full time installers, own wood shop for any cabinetry changes, and are hands down the best in the Chicago area. The installers were great - professional, accurate, and took the time needed to complete. Once again, can't go wrong choosing Abt!

Our delivery person went above and beyond when he delivered our Weber grill. We had just learned that my husband had a heart attack and couldn’t lift over ten pounds. The delivery person then delivered the grill to the back of the house on the deck. This is one of the reasons why we drive over an hour each way to shop at Abt for the past 10 years.

When I need some serious quality products, I come to Abt. Last week Abt installed a furnace and AC at my home. Very happy with the work done by the Abt crew. Nothing to complaint. I had estimates from 3 different companies, and Abt quote came in very reasonable. Abt will likely be around for a long time to service my new system.

Nick and Pedro were great! They ensured I knew what was going on with each piece being installed. Nick explained concerns that he saw which allows me to correct in the near future. Both gentlemen were polite and ensured I was satisfied with my installation. Abt has been awesome in every step of my process. From when I initially walked into the store through installation. My wife and I have been shopping for appliances and electronics at ABT for over 20 years. Our experience with our purchases and the service we get every time we go there is excellent. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. Recently we purchased a dryer and we are extremely happy with the product and the service we’ve received.

I bought an air conditioner from ABT based on online reviews. I regret it immensely. I followed the instructions on the unit to a T, but it barely works. It worked for a few brief hours when I first turned it on, but in the subsequent few days it hasn't. The air that comes out is a tiny bit cool at best. There's no cool/cold here, even if I stand in front of it. And when I contacted ABT, they told me it's not their responsibility, it's LG's. And LG's customer service doesn't speak English very well, so it took a while to even explain what was going on...and then they couldn't help me. It's a fun game of hot potato for these big companies shirking responsibility while they vacuum up your money. I 100% regret buying from ABT. It was been a thoroughly dispiriting experience, and I wasted a lot of money thinking I could trust them.

You should just stay away. After a week the refrigerator I bought is still broken, every time I call I get a different person with a different answer. Go to HomeDepot or Lowes. Stay away from this one.
