Purchased new refrigerator on 12/29/2022. The Freezer door was damaged and I requested the door replacement or $300 (based on our research of the same refrigerator sold by another vendor as open item). After waiting for about two months they called and set up the appointment in another 3 weeks. When they came on 3/24/2023 to replace the door, they finally check the color which ended up to be black instead of white. Later that day I received the new invoice from them that contained wording that I need black door (seriously!?) and my signature was purged. Called today and they told me maybe getting the door on the April 7th with further date for installation. I just want to be done (so simply pay me $300) with it as I can't time off work to accommodate Abt schedule.

The delivery guys were outstanding. They called to give us a delivery window, and called again when they were on the way. They were very careful and respectful of our home, answered all our questions, and did a first-class professional job. We are pleased in every respect.

Tech called and said time frame was between 11-3 pm. I mentioned I had to pick up my kids from school at 2:00. Tech called and said, "We will be at your location by 11am!!" Phenomenal service!! Delivery & install techs were efficient and very helpful explaining the operation of the Bosch dishwasher. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing delivery drivers! Couldn't have ask for a better team of delivery personnel. They were courteous, helpful and efficient. This was my first experience with Abt and with the wonderful experience we had, we will be going back to Abt for future purchases.

Thank you for the quick delivery and the extra service provided by the driver, Martin ** on truck 1075. The unit was a bit heavier than expected and I was having difficulty getting it up the stairs to my unit. Martin came in and took the oven up the stairs for me. Thank you very much.

During a recent appliance delivery, the delivery team arrived during the expected delivery window and was very helpful in explaining the delivery & set up process. The team was very caring with my home and made sure to cover their shoes when entering. After the appliance was set up and ready, the delivery team walked me through all the information about the appliance that I would need to read through the manual to find out otherwise. The delivery team at Abt is always great and reliable, which is what keeps us coming back.

Sorry cannot place negative numbers; when installed lower oven started to produce strange sound every time it turned on. Technician told us "watch for couple hours "and left. Now we paid money for professional installation, not for friendly advice.

Phone calls for delivery windows were helpful to plan my day. Delivery time was on schedule. Abt staff was courteous and friendly. They took great care to move the upright freezer to the basement without acquiring any nicks or damage to the walls or the freezer. I did not pay the extra fee for installation but they put things together and would have connected it if my husband had finished the new electrical box. They never complained about the many steps up the front porch or to the basement. The guys did a great job, and I would not hesitate in ordering from ABT in the future. Wonderful experience!

Excellent experience with the three individuals who delivered and installed my new stove, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator yesterday. They were all friendly, professional and worked very hard to make sure that everything went smoothly. Any packing material was gathered and taken back to the truck when they left which was appreciated. A few additional things about the icemaker, glass window on the oven, etc. were pointed out to me before they left. Overall I was very pleased with my experience and the professionalism of the installers/delivery people.

Ethan and his crew were terrific at their job. They were courteous and friendly, but most importantly, they took great care with my new appliances. They were so professional, and careful of my walls. I was kept up to date on my delivery time, and everything arrived in the time window that was promised. I was even thanked for being an Abt customer. This is why we keep coming back every time.

The ABT team rocks from start to finish. Jason ** is the MAN always takes care of us at home and our business when we need anything TV, Appliance, Sound, etc related. As for this delivery, ERIC and JOSH were the best ever. So helpful, thoughtful, and made the process go so smoothly. Highly recommended!

Updated review - I've changed my review to 5 stars. I can't remember any seller on the Internet ever reaching out directly to correct a mistake and make it right. Abt's staff did exactly that, and immediately shipped out the item in question. I'm leaving the original review, but I will buy from Abt again and suggest you do as well. Their customer service is something only a local store would provide, definitely went above and beyond what I expected.

Listed a product for sale. Website said it was in stock. I confirmed via their live chat they had them in stock. Ordered product immediately. Order was placed in backordered status. Now they said they don't have it, never did have it. What a waste of time.

I've been a long time customer and have bought multiple appliances from ABT but this has been the worst customer service experience I've ever had with any company. I called ABT to get my central AC fixed 3 times already within the same month during 90° weather. The first time they said that the freon was leaking and I paid for the freon and diagnostic.
About 2 weeks later the AC isn't blowing cool air anymore and I come in to the store to speak with the home comfort section and they tell me that because my furnace was purchased from ABT that to get the AC serviced there would be no charge. I'm told to go to services and they say that's incorrect and I have to pay. Confused, I go back to home comfort and they tell me to go back to services and tell them they said that I'm covered under warranty. Not sure why their department didn't just speak with them themselves just to clear the confusion.
At this point I'm confused and there seems to be a disconnect from the two departments, but services tells me a warranty was never put on the furnace and they schedule a tech to come fix it again. When the tech comes he says he needs to order a part to fix it. I never get a call and neither do they tell me when they'll come back with the part to fix the AC. I have contractors working at our house who cannot work because the AC is not working in turn delaying us from moving into the house. We've had our newly refinished hardwood floors ruined because they're not able to dry properly due the humidity and no airflow which I have to pay for again because they need to be refinished.
I call ABT and they tell me the part already came in, but no one contacted me to schedule a servicing appointment. I make an appointment and they come back for a 3rd time. The AC is working for another week before it's blowing warm air again. I check the AC unit and the line to freon has been cut and taped over and all the freon has leaked out. I called ABT again to get it fixed for the 4th time and they tell me I have to pay because we didn't buy the AC unit from them.
I'm getting the run around and I'm frustrated that the AC hasn't been fixed and someone has purposely cut the line. Whenever I speak with services or HVAC I'm given attitude and no one seems to be interested in helping at all, when all I want is the AC to work so I can move into my house and be given an explanation of my warranty because I'm getting different answers from multiple people. I've never been spoken to so rudely from staff before from just trying to get help.

I have run out ideas on how to get a response from Abt regarding our situation so here goes. We bought our kitchen appliances from Abt two years ago. This January we began to have issues with our refrigerator. We were recommended to purchase extended Abt warranty support especially for our fridge so we did. We were thankful we did back then so we called for support and had our first technician come in Feb. Unfortunately still to this day the issue is not fixed. We are now on our 5th tech visit, each time either the wrong part was ordered or the part did not fix the issue or one time the tech arrived but didn't bring the part at all. Each time a new part has to be ordered then a new appt scheduled which delays another month. I have been patient, understanding and respectful.
I finally called support to ask for a new plan here since the issue is not fixed after 5 months. I called last Thursday was escalated twice and directed to a supervisor. They were not available so they would call me back. I received a call back later in the evening when I was unavailable and left a vm to call back. I have called back asking for help Friday/Sat/Mon asking to speak to anyone who can help because the original supervisor was either out or on another call. Each time I am told no one is available but we promise someone will call you back before the end of day. Since I received the 1 call back on Thurs I have yet to receive another return call from Abt support. Each time I have to call and wait, explain my situation and be told someone will call you back today.
I am disappointed and also amazed how poor the service has been. I was under the impression the supprt at Abt was beyond excellent. I regret our purchase for the Abt support warranty. This is an extremely painful experience and at this point there is a lot that needs to be done on top of fixing our appliance to rectify this situation. Glad to see others have had good experiences, unfortunately ours has been the opposite.

We had a mini split installed April of 2021. ABT Electronics, Glenview, IL came out multiple times because the refrigerant leaked out due to a problems with the installation. During one of their visits the outside unit metal housing was scratched severely and screws missing so that had to be replaced. The fan guard still rattles today. After the job was completed I noticed a rafter that was cut in my attic they never asked me about and a glass shelf was broken that was stored in our attic they didn’t mention. The unit has never worked well and the first hot day May 2022 just hot air unit not working at all. We call ABT. Sorry it’s out of warranty by one month. $85 to come out plus parts and labor. Do not use them for your project. You will be sorry.

We are sorry the split system is having issues. Our HVAC manager has reached out to help resolve this. A technician is coming out at no charge on 5/12.

I wish I could them ZERO! I returned their defective microwave and store signed for it, (UPS have confirmation), now Monica and Kal claiming they never received it. It's been over 3 months and they still refusing to issue refund and they both being extremely rude on the phone. Monica yelled and hung up the phone on me on multiple occasions, which is not acceptable. Kal is a shame of this company, claimed to be a gen manager. He acknowledged he received the item but still won't issue refund and stated "it's your problem!". This company needs to FIRED these people and don't let them harass customers anymore!

Andriy, Your microwave was received on 3/16/2022 and refunded the same day. It is our policy that we do not issue a refund until we receive the product.

Purchased a dishwasher 23 months ago, motherboard is no longer working. Called and spoke with “senior” sales manager to help resolve as Abt should stand behind products they are selling. Long time customer, spent thousands of dollars at this store. Senior sales manager was rude and disrespectful; demonstrated no interest in working to resolve this matter. Abt seems to not care about keeping returning customers like in the past based on communication from this manager. Manager informed me that this was between me and manufacturers. Understood, I was looking for fairness in a bad sale. Will no longer be a customer of Abt, I will go up the street to a big box store to be treated the same, or better.

My initial experience was amazing. I called to confirm the refrigerator I wanted was actually in stock, as I was unable to find it anywhere else. The sales rep was friendly and helpful. He placed the order and I had my refrigerator delivered quickly. But after unpacking it, I found significant dents on the exterior walls. This would have been workable for a discount but I also found the inside walls were bowed and I could only place the shelves at the highest and lowest positions. I called and requested a return. This seemed to go ok, and eventually the fridge was picked up but now 2 weeks later I have no refund and the agent is no longer replying to my emails. They have my money and the returned fridge. I understand it is the holiday season, but I would like some confidence my credit card will be refunded, so far I'm not.

My brand new oven needed a new part and they had to schedule me a month out because they only come out to Indiana on Tuesdays and Saturdays. They scheduled for the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, which I was hosting 13 people, and I took the day off, then they canceled on me that late morning stating the repair man had a "personal issue". Now, the Tuesday before Christmas, after I moved around appointments to be here all day, they have canceled on me again. I'm now going on three months without my brand new Thermador oven working properly. I've heard all about their "5-star" customer service, but I think canceling twice, days before a major holiday, is disgraceful and there is really no excuse for it. I will never buy anything from Abt again.

It's hard to put into words how satisfied we always are with both the product and the delivery process provided by Abt. From the initial sales call, to the set up of delivery, to the final delivery - the quality of the people at every level is always exemplary. We had a small issue with a leak that we noticed the next day, and someone from Abt was out within the hour to identify the problem and to fix it. They told us they would not leave until our problem was solved. Amazing! You all do such a wonderful job. Thank you!

After several misinformed and aggressive attempts to argue with me, the company refunded the labor costs. I consider this a partial resolution, which was reached only due to my persistence and refusal to fully back down. Overall, a single store manager and a single customer service agent facilitated a workable compromise, but the company never took responsibility and could have done a better job fully rectifying this situation.

I worked with a member of the Abt sale team to select a hood that would work in my kitchen. After guiding me to an appropriate hood, the salesperson then upsold me on their in-house cabinet customization service. Supposedly, they would cut the cabinet above my range down to the appropriate size to accommodate the new hood and its required clearance from the range top. I took three days off of work -- the first for the initial consult where the Abt employee took a bunch of measurements, the second for the day they came to remove the cabinet, and the third for the day they scheduled to come back and install the hood and cabinet. After the crew came to remove the cabinet, I noticed them taking lots of pictures. I asked why and then said they needed to make sure the measurements were right. I asked whether someone would call me if the measurements were not right, and they answered in the affirmative.
A week later I had not heard from Abt, so I emailed my salesperson to find out "if there was a problem" given the fact that the team that took down the cabinet took so many pictures. She said no and confirmed the installation date. On the date of the installation, however, the crew installed the cabinet and then determined that the cabinet has been customized incorrectly and now a new hole would need to be drilled in the brick outside wall of my home. They looked up my order and the notes and pictures from Abt's prior visits and told me this was Abt's mistake. After consulting with the head installer "Vito," however, they changed their tune and told me that I should have had a different contractor out between their visits to drill a previous hole. I asked how I would have even known to have done this when they were the ones who supposedly specialize in this type of installation, took all the measurements and customized my upper cabinet. They had no answer.
They left with my kitchen unusable and the large range hood on the floor of my dining room. In a written email to my salesperson and Vito, I demanded they either complete the job (I had paid in full in advance including the fee for the botched cabinet customization and the fee for the installation) or restore the kitchen to its original state. No response. I forwarded the email to customer service. No response. I will now pursue remedies through local media outlets, the Illinois AG's office, and private action, all of which will cost more money and take up more time. Buyer beware: Abt is offering a service and implementing with uncaring employees with no effective communications between the sales team and the installation team.

Mike I am sorry for the miscommunication on your order. We are not able to provide a new vent on the 3rd floor. We do not have the means to do this and a venting company is required. We did take responsibility and refunded your labor charges that can be used toward a venting company to complete the work for you.
