In MIRAMAR. The service is awful, really bad. The employees are grumpy, other people's pain isn't their problem, and they're not gentle with patients. They won't let me in with my very nervous daughter for her blood test. What are they hiding? The terrible job they do? Besides having to wait an hour to be seen, they don't care about anything except money. How awful!

I came to a quest location in Brooklyn with a doctor's requisition for bloodwork. The tech/phlebotomist welcomed me vary nasty, verbally attacking me for no reason, when I told him I'll report it to the higher-ups, he decided to dangerously fix me up. All tests on the paper requisition he entered into the computer twice (as separate orders) then he went ahead and drew twice as much blood/tubes than required/authorized. Now since all tests were done twice, another serious issue came to light, the inaccuracy and unreliability of Quest's lab work. The same tests were done twice on separate specimens collected at the same time, yet for most tests the results differ, for some pretty significantly.

Never again will I use Quest. The MyQuest app does not work. I managed to view my lab results one time. Then I've been attempting to view again because I wanted to research some things. Apparently the site is having difficulties..FOR 3 DAYS!! Unacceptable, particularly with medical info. Plus, while the lab techs were okay, there's no one staffed at the front desk. No thanks. I was also told I could upload my previous lab results into the app...so I can compare certain things.. but it's either not possible or extremely difficult. Not going to bother to find out which. Plus, I read where someone was billed because Quest inputted incorrect codes...really? I plan to recheck the over 500 lab bill I received....seems like it might be sketchy. Stay away.

Terrible service. You can't get lab results for more than a week. It takes more than a week to get your account set up online. If you need anything immediately just forget about getting any help from the website or any phone number that is listed or they give you. They never call you back you know what and apparently don't even have access to your lab results. If you need your lab results quickly, stay far away from this place/company.

In my opinion, the Quest Diagnostics system is broken. The location I visited was the one at 7460 W. Lake Mead Blvd in Las Vegas, NV. I had an appointment, but that did not seem to matter. It was 30 minutes after my appointment before I got to get my blood drawn. I also needed a test of my urine. When I went to provide the sample, there was fecal matter on the toilet seat making me wonder if they ever check the restrooms for cleanliness. When I returned the urine, there were 4 other specimen containers there making me think mine could easily get mixed up with others.

The place in general looked messy like they did not have time to take care of things as they go. The technician tried to explain that they were overloaded and understaffed. I can easily believe that. The last thing is that my arm turned black around the needle injection site. I did not appreciate that. After this experience, I have no plans to go back to Quest Diagnostics for any type of testing and I sincerely hope that my test results are accurate and that they get to the right doctor. I have my doubts.

I was scheduled to take a drug test in Chipley at Quest. It was closed today on a Saturday. So I scheduled for Marianna. Showed up, and they couldn't transfer my test over to the Marianna location, but they advertise differently. I drove 2 hours for nothing. There were no clear instructions, and all help lines are closed on the weekends. The biggest issue was that it was not stated anywhere, that there would be an issue regarding testing at alternative locations. If I had known that I needed to only visit a specific location, it should've been clear. This is failure on Quest and First Advantage. They obviously don't care about wasting people's time.

First of all, there is NO human to help, Secondly, for whatever reason, the check-in machine did not recognize my appointment and the tech told me to wait until all the people with appointments were seen and then she would see me. An hour later, all the people were gone, but no one came out to get me. I knocked on the door to alert the techs that everyone had gone. Someone arrived at the door and told me that I could no longer be seen since I had the audacity to knock on the door to alert them that I was still there and waiting. This was just to punish me. There really is no customer service since everything but the blood draw is done online. They have some sort of contractual relationship with Analyte Health that seems like the website manager that collects client info, payment and then directs the patient to the closest lab. I scheduled online thru the app and I was directed to Quest Diagnostics in Boerne TX. I paid and got an appointment for today. It was a time sensitive test. I printed out the confirmation and arrived at the lab but I could not check in. There was no record of me. I had to leave.

The fee was collected, the lab was scheduled but there seems to be no connection between Analyte and Quest other than payment. That's no fault of mine but I can't get a refund unless I pay a 20% cancellation fee. They CANCELLED me. This is a very sketchy business model and I would recommend that you go somewhere else where you get the service you pay for. I will continue to dispute this charge thru my credit card company. I hope they get enough complaints like this that these labs are tagged as a fraud.

On 10/21/25, I arrived at the Boynton Beach Quest Diagnostics location 20 minutes early for my confirmed 6:50 AM appointment. I checked in using the Quest app about 10 minutes before my scheduled time and confirmed on the TV screen that my name appeared with my confirmed appointment time. After waiting in the lobby for over 20 minutes, I noticed that other patients with later appointments were being called in ahead of me, and my name was no longer on the screen. I approached the LAB TECH to ask for help, but she brushed me off without checking. When I tried again a few minutes later, she was equally rude and dismissive. I explained that I had a confirmed appointment and attempted to show her my text message confirmation, but she interrupted and told me to wait.

A few minutes later, she returned and again asked me the same questions. When I tried to show her the confirmation again, she told me that I did not have an appointment and refused to even look at my phone. Her dismissive and condescending tone in front of other patients made the experience humiliating and deeply upsetting.

I left the building feeling completely defeated, embarrassed, and in tears. No patient should ever be treated with such disrespect, especially by a healthcare professional in a patient-facing role. Her behavior was unprofessional, uncaring, and unacceptable. I still need my lab work completed as ordered by my doctor, but after this experience, I am seriously considering using a private lab or switching to LabCorp, where I have never encountered such treatment. This experience was truly appalling and has left a lasting negative impression of Quest Diagnostics. Location: 11076 S Military Trail, Unit 47, Boynton Beach, FL 33436. It’s unacceptable that a medical facility allows such poorly trained employees to handle patients. She said she would want to be told if she looked like me. I immediately told her how rude she was to tell me this. I also complained to her about taking the walk in before me. Her excuse, no one out front.

Employee was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I am so upset with her telling me how horrible I looked that I will never visit that location again and will look for other labs outside of Quest Diagnostics even though I have been a customer for several years. I am a 75 year old female and understand I look old but for someone to point it out is just mind boggling. Employee didn’t say sorry for the delay, welcome to Quest-nothing. The staff had no idea what they were doing. The way they handled the baby was distressing—for both the child and her mother. It was a traumatic experience for everyone involved, and after all of that, they still failed to draw any blood. This was completely unacceptable. I’ve worked at Quest Diagnostics and witnessed firsthand the constant struggle employees face. One of the biggest issues is the extremely high turnover rate — almost everyone I met eventually left because of how they were treated. Management fails to communicate clearly or timely, leaving employees confused and frustrated. Important policy changes, like PTO payouts, are not explained well, and employees are often left in the dark.

Pay is another serious problem. It’s disheartening to see that long-term employees, some of whom have dedicated years to the company, earn less than newly hired staff. This pay disparity creates resentment and shows a lack of appreciation for loyalty and experience. When employees ask for raises or fair compensation, they’re routinely denied, which only fuels dissatisfaction.

The work environment is stressful and overworked, yet the company doesn’t offer adequate support or recognition. Combined with poor management and unresponsive HR, it’s clear Quest Diagnostics prioritizes profits over people. If you’re looking for a respectful, fair workplace with transparent communication and proper compensation don’t work here .

A single star is NOT even warranted. First, I have tried NUMEROUS times to resolve this with Quest directly – I have provided all the emails and correspondence I have had with Quest, including ALL proofs of payment with bank statements and actual cancelled checks. Their customer service and billing are so poor that I never received anything back and/or was able to get a live person to address this concern so they have turned me over to a collection agency. Again, sent MULTIPLE proofs of payment to Quest for this debt. In fact, they OWE ME MONEY! I paid this debt twice – once on 8/15/23 and again, 10/3/23. I have spent countless hours trying to resolve this directly with them and if they had any ounce of customer service, it would never have made it to a collection agency, which I did not deserve to be sent to since this was paid and proof of payment submitted.

I am considering legal action if my requests for resolution and refund of overpayment are not met. This has been very timely, extremely frustrating and stressful and I have perfect credit. At this point, it's not a matter of the money, but a matter of PRINCIPLE as they rip people off. It's unbelievable to me for a major corporation to operated like this. Needless to say, I will NEVER EVER use this crooked company again and if they are smart and have any conscience, they will settle this dispute in my favor, as well as, send the $154.67 refund that is owed to me. I’ve never written a negative review before, but after an incredibly upsetting experience at Quest Diagnostics in St. Petersburg, FL, I feel compelled to share what happened — in hopes of preventing others from going through the same thing. A few days ago, I arrived for my scheduled bloodwork appointment. The woman who was supposed to assist me (I believe she was a nurse or phlebotomist) was shockingly unprofessional and aggressive. She began yelling at me, saying, “Yes, I was late to take your ticket because I was cleaning blood from another patient in the bathroom. Would you like to use a bathroom dirty with blood?” Her tone was loud, confrontational, and completely inappropriate.

The situation caused me intense anxiety — my body started shaking, and my heart was racing. I tried to calm myself down, but I ultimately felt too unsafe to proceed. I chose to leave without getting my blood drawn. Let me ask: would you feel comfortable letting someone in that state of anger handle a needle near your vein? If you work in healthcare, please remember — your words and behavior matter. Compassion and calm professionalism are essential when working with people, especially in medical settings.

They never did. We called again, and got a run-around. This has never been addressed, and there doesn't seem to be any avenue for us to talk to someone higher up. This is not the first time we've had problems, but it's the worst case, and was a significant potential patient safety/qoc issue. Luckily the patient is fine. I opened a letter with a bill to my wife from Quest for $45. I called the Quest business office to see if I could pay on the phone. I was on hold for about 10 minutes. The rep. said that normally I could but their system was down. I decided to pay by mail. The next day when in a book store, I decided on impulse to call again and see if they'd let me pay without actually having the bill in front of me or the billing number. I was on hold for maybe 22 minutes. I told the rep that the previous day when I called, their system had been down and now I was calling back to see if I could pay without the bill number. She said, "Do you have the bill number?" I replied, "I just told you I don't have it." She hung up. I know the call wasn't simply dropped because when she hung up it went to the automated satisfaction survey.

I called the general quest number and asked for someone, maybe a manager, who could take a complaint against the woman who had hung up on me. She said that she'd connect me with someone. I said that I really didn't want to be in a long phone queue again. She transferred me into a phone queue. It estimated that I'd be waiting a long time, so I took the option to receive a call back. When I was called back, it was some customer service rep. who said she couldn't take complaints. She told me to call the corporate office and gave me the number. When I called the corporate office and chose the "Customer Experience Team" option, it was just a voicemail that told me to leave my name, phone, and e-mail, and I'd be contacted later. I decided to write this review instead. I urge you to deal with another outfit that have a little more class than this.

I feel compelled to share what happened to my son at the Quest Diagnostics location we were referred to for his blood work, not once, but twice. This morning was absolutely heartbreaking. The technician attempting to draw his blood was not only incompetent, poking him multiple times without success, but also extremely rude and unprofessional. She kept yelling, “Other patients are waiting outside”, and repeatedly shouted at my son, saying “IF YOU MOVE, IT WILL TAKE FOREVER" while poking him multiple times.

My son was not moving at all, he remained calm and simply asked how long it would take. He’s mature and fully understands how blood work is done. But her aggression, impatience, and complete lack of compassion made the experience traumatic for both of us. Eventually, she gave up and told us to come back another day - WITHOUT COMPLETING THE BLOOD DRAW.

Sadly, this was our second horrible experience at Quest Diagnostics. Last year, a different technician also failed multiple times to draw his blood and sent us away. In contrast, other labs we’ve used in Chicago(not related to Quest) have been amazing, professional, patient, and experienced with kids. Never a single issue.

It’s deeply upsetting that some families are forced to rely on a facility where children are treated with such disregard and cruelty. Parents deserve better, and so do our kids. No child should be yelled at or mistreated during a medical procedure. If your child needs lab work, I strongly encourage you to explore other, more compassionate/professional options.

Quest Diagnostics is getting worse and worse as time goes on. While the best phlebotomists I've ever had were at quest diagnostics, and I've always had a good experience with their staff, the corporate management of their facilities is disastrous. Calling a quest diagnostic center for customer service is non-existent, booking an appointment especially in the morning when fasting is required is becoming more and more difficult, trying to come in as a walk-in is even worse. I waited close to 3 hours as a walk-in and was never called, I would have booked an appointment but there was nothing available within the same month.

I looked at all neighboring facilities and it was the same thing and they have the audacity to close some of their facilities in my area. The problem is just getting worse. This is a problem when you allow companies to monopolize and have very little competition. I only imagine that they're cutting staff and locations to only increase corporate profits. My experience was horrible. Today, there was at least 20 other people on the standby list more than likely because they couldn't make an appointment and there was not any neighboring locations that were any better.

My daughter had a weekly screening test for MONTHS as part of an outpatient program. My insurance paid it, until suddenly one week they decided it was no longer medically necessary. Each week, for MONTHS, Quest accepted my insurance company's payment, at their contracted rate, which is half the billed rate. For the two weeks when insurance denied the claim, I have paid Quest the same amount that insurance had been paying. But Quest demands the full amount - same test, same patient, but I should pay double. Outrageous - and a rep on the phone just now told me "there is no appeal." No one to escalate my request to, no way to appeal, just pay up. Unacceptable.

In looking at what they charged me, especially for the Vitamin D test, it is about 3 times what 2 other labs in my area charge! Quest billed $276.66 for the tests and 2 other labs quoted $107 and $67. They also way overcharged for my General Health Panel. They billed $302.08, and one of the other labs estimate $98.00. (I didn't get a response from one of the labs on this code). For the lipid panel, Quest billed $169.43, and the other 2 labs estimated $62.00 and $31.00. I have also used the online app for as long as I have been with quest. Up until now, it has been seamless, with an easy interface. For whatever reason, quest has added an online verification process that is absolutely horrible. I was trying to change the password on my wife's account and got the message, additional verification is required. I first had to get a code. Easy - required by every online service. Then I had to scan a QR code which took me to the next level of security verification. I then had to take pictures of the front and back of a valid ID. Not easy to align the scan window with the ID, but accomplished the task.

I then had have my wife's face scan. it was hard to hold the phone still for as long as it took to capture the scan. Success - told me to go back to the online app. I did, but nothing changed - I still had the original screen saying additional verification is required. I have done this process multiple times over a two day period. I may not be as sharp as I once was at age 77, but my background is in Computer Science and Systems Management. I cannot imagine the average senior citizen going through this complicated process without challenges. BTW, I still cannot access my wife's account. Try and find a phone number for technical support - if it exists, I sure didn't find it. There is a chat capability - not available on weekends. Someone needs to evaluate the approach they have initiated, provide phone support and fix a broken system. It may be time to go back to LABCORP if this doesn't get fixed!!!!

This is my usual location for blood work, and I typically carry the doctor's prescription on my phone, which I email to the technician without any issues. However, today was a different experience. The technician asked me to provide a paper copy of the prescription and mentioned that she only had 10 minutes per patient and that a paper copy was mandatory. I explained that I've never been asked for this before and that there was no mention of needing a paper copy on Quest's website when I booked the appointment. She asked me to email it, then stated that their email system doesn't work well due to a poor network connection, though she received the email in just two seconds.

Later, she informed me that one of the tests wasn't covered and that I would need to have my doctor's office call Quest Diagnostics to resolve the issue, otherwise, my blood work would be put on hold. This was surprising, as I've never encountered this before for my routine tests. I contacted my doctor's office, and they were unsure why this issue had arisen, but said they would follow up with Quest. I was also told that if the doctor's office doesn't call within the next six days, the blood work won't be processed. I'm hoping everything gets sorted out soon.

After 6 years, I am done. Today they don’t seem to have me in their system. My husband recently had his done without any complications and again, results within 24 hours. Why is this? Then for 7 months I keep getting a $3000 bill from Quest. I have called 6 times now and my insurance company has also called. I've sent my EOB to the customer service people at Quest (after being asked to on one of my multiple phone calls to them) and whoever is getting the emails just doesn't do their job. I'll be reporting Quest to the BBB for fraudulent billing practices. They have been paid and it's proven in my EOB. They are attempting to get double paid by also billing me. When I call all I get is a person that says they will take care of it and then they just don't. Completely incompetent company.

I will not bore you with minute details, there are many more nuances to how badly both local and corporate offices screwed this up, despite hours of follow up by me or my doctor's office. They are only lab in my area performing the test I need. They are grossly incompetent at their jobs, do not know their own paperwork, lose lots of stuff, could care less, do not correct their self admitted known mistakes, corporate worthless to help, read reviews of them everywhere, the single worst lab in the us. I pass up the Lakewood Ranch location because I usually love the Ellenton one. I always give good surveys about the technicians there because they do a great job and they are so nice, but I recently had an experience at Ellenton Quest Lab that left me quite disappointed. I am writing to formally complain about the behavior of Denise on 8/16/24 at 8:50 am. I went in for a routine blood draw and a cortisol test was included. I had gotten up at 8:15 am (which needed to be within 1 hour of awakening), took a 20-minute drive over, checked in on time and waited in the waiting room.

I got called back about 9 am by Denise and she started to type my lab requisition into the computer. I tried to make small talk about how her day was going and she immediately said that I couldn't do the cortisol test because it was past 9 am. I replied that it was only 9:03 am and she very hatefully said that I should have made the appointment earlier in the morning. I did say "whatever, just don't do the cortisol test then". I said it calmly, didn't yell nor curse but she said that she didn't like my attitude and that she would have to get someone else to take me over and that I would have to sit back out in the waiting room for them to be available.

I am a pharmacist and I work with the general public a lot and I know how hateful the general public can be, but I was far from being rude. Denise was extremely unprofessional, displaying a rude and inconsiderate attitude. She definitely did not handle the situation with care and respect expected in a professional setting. I believe this kind of behavior is unacceptable in a professional environment and it does not reflect well on Quest Diagnostics. I hope this matter can be addressed promptly to prevent future occurrences. I will never go back to this location.

No alert to let me know there were NO labs within 100 miles of my address. I sent two separate emails asking for assistance. I got the auto response for each one but no other contact was received. I did explain in both that I just needed to cancel my order and get a refund. (They charge a $20 cancelation fee.) I even gave them my order #. No response and that was over a week ago.

Chat didn't work. I can't hear much so calling is just frustrating. I finally went through the online support help desk and explained everything again with all the needed details. I went in for a lab test needed prior to surgery. I actually drove and spoke in person asking cost to which they gave me an exact price which was $300, I checked that price with them 3 times when there. Two weeks later after I sit in the chair and the nurse takes the blood, she says it's $75 for this and $55 for that and $68 for this... I stopped her and said that you told me $300 flat rate. She says yes, that is our fees but we send the tests out as we don't have the means to do it here. So they were charging me $300 for a blood draw that took 1 min!

Also when someone asks for a price, they are asking for how much it'll cost them. To separate costs as such is nothing but scamming and non-professional business ethics. Also later when I had a major lab test, I contacted various labs... I finally paid $1800 at another lab which did all the same tests that they quoted me for $3800. Oddly enough that services used Quest for the lab work!!!!

Trying to speak to anyone at Quest is impossible.

After over an hour of trying to figure out how to speak to someone that could help, I was told that they don't actually charge anything and that it was more of placing a card on file, just in case. Well, that's not what my husband was told and he had to leave. Walk-ins take several hours if they even take you, since sometimes they already have too many. Their complaint line is just their regular number and the only people you can speak to are the billing people. This leads me to believe they don't actually have a customer service center. No one could tell me where the location moved to. I looked up other nearby locations and drove to them - they no longer exist either. I tried to call several customer service numbers from their website and all are no longer in service. So, I could not find a location even though they are still listed on the website and taking appointments, and there is no way to get through to anyone at Quest to find out what locations are actually open and where to go. This is a complaint about poor service today (7/10/2024) at 2 Quest locations in Henderson, NV.

    1) I had a 10:30 am appointment at your location on Gibson Rd., which is 15 miles from my home and I am disabled. When I arrived early the door was locked and a note posted on the door stating they were closed on Monday, 7/8/‘24 and would reopen Tuesday. Someone had scratched out Tuesday and wrote in “Thursday” with a ball point pen. No other explanation was given. I was NEVER notified by text, email or phone of this cancellation.

    2) I drove several miles to another Quest on Boulder Highway and logged in as a walk-in, but the next available time was 2:40 pm the same day. I then complained to the next employee to come to the door that I had an appointment at another location that was cancelled without notification and felt I should be accommodated ASAP. I was called within 15 minutes before 11:00 am.

    3) I then noticed that everyone in the waiting room was from the Gibson Rd. location, had appointments after 2:00pm, yet no one was being called in. One woman had been waiting since 7:00am. Another man had to travel by taxi.

    4) I told the woman to complain and she did, but the tech she spoke to was less than accommodating.

Did I get quickly in because I complained and made an issue? Remember, everyone listed on the service board had “appointments” after 2:00 pm and were all from the “cancellations” at Gibson Rd., and I was last on this list! Apparently, the staff was having a party in the back and not calling anyone else until their appointed times! Very poor service indeed! Furthermore, one tech told me that everyone had received emails about the cancellations. This is a bold-faced lie! I never received an email or any form of communication. I have a BS in computer science and know how to check my SPAM folder!!! How can they stay in business with such poor service? Between them not being able to find order correctly because their system is flawed, and their lack of communication of what’s needed before/for certain labs and samples, this company drives me insane. Not to mention the wait times are ridiculous, and you can only make an appointment for the same day?

There’s no organization and they make things inconvenient for their patients. This is the sole reason why our country does so poorly in healthcare. Why would I get a lab done that could detect something wrong with me when I had to fast for the lab in the first place and there’s a 6 hour wait? Normally I'm OK with Quest, specifically the one on Riverside. When I'm not able to book an appointment in advance I go as a "walk-in" which I did today. In the past I've waited anywhere from 35 minutes to 75 minutes but today, 2 hours and 32 minutes! I did not complain or take issue with anyone and at the 2:32 mark when a nurse came out to call the next patient, I said to her that two and a half hours was my limit and she can remove me from the list. It was her response that irked me as in a very obtuse way said, "Ok" and almost looked past me as if to say, or at least the way I read it, "I can care less if you're canceling and don't care how long you've been waiting." Again, it's just the way that I felt. No, "sorry it's taken so long" or "let me check to see how much longer", nothing!

So I asked her "Do you know my name" as how would you remove me from the list so she annoyingly replied "What's your last name" which I informed her but she didn't look on the list or write it down, nothing. So my advice, book an appointment two weeks before you need to go in! I will say there was another nurse/receptionist prior to that interaction that was nice, pleasant and apologized for the wait but that last interaction just got to me, especially after waiting 2:32!

I watched the reader board to see where my name was in the queue. There were well over half a dozen individuals scheduled for the same time as me, but only 4 phlebotomists working. Adding walk-ins to that worker-patient ratio meant that after a 20 minute wait -- and my name moving further down the list rather than closer to the top -- I walked out. Quest agreed to be low balled in compensation by Blue Cross, then tries to extort money from patients when the bill has been paid. Currently billing me $518.00+ when they agreed to accept about $200.00 in the contract.

If your doctor uses Quest Diagnostics, be sure to understand how you will be billed and the amount you will be charged. Quest Diagnostics consistently charges high premiums for their lab tests. You can buy urine tests for $10-$20 at a drugstore, but Quest will charge you $60 or more. If your insurance does not cover labs, consider asking to go to a different lab and pay a flat fee upfront for tests. Over the years, I have paid Quest and had them come back to me with collections, claiming that I did not pay or owe more. I have no issues paying my bills, but how they charge is ridiculous and predatory. On a side note, we need to write to our representatives about how absurd it is that we pay separately for every little thing when we visit a doctor.

Worst experience ever, Customer service and Billing on the phone is like talking to a brick wall, and I prefer a brick wall. They are billing me ($498) for a service that I never received, and mixed it up with one that was already paid for that I did receive, but they don't seem to understand even when I try to explain it to them, and they don't want to listen or try and figure it out.

I went to Quest Diagnostics for a blood draw and lab work ordered by my doctor. Once I got there the lab tech asked what insurance I had, I said that I don't have insurance, I have to use a credit card. She told me that the labs were expensive and that I could get it cheaper by ordering the labs online first, she then cancelled that appointment. I went home and ordered the lab tests and paid for them online. I then returned two days later for the blood draw, all under the orders of "a different" doctor" using Ultalabs (who I ordered the tests from).

Quest billed me for the labs that the original doctor ordered (which never happened), although the lab tech said that she cancelled them. I tried to explain several times by phone calls and emails to Quest that they mixed up the orders and the doctors, but they didn't really want to hear it. In fact, I was hung up on two time while explaining!

I spoke to Quest 4 or 5 times (it can take up to 50 minutes being on hold), was hung up on two times, and they still didn't listen, even after speaking to their supervisors. They told me to call Ultalabs to get it straightened out. So I had to call Ultalabs 2 times, and the customer service rep told me that she would contact Quest. She said that Quest has the 2 accounts mixed up and didn't bill properly.

That's the last I heard from either one of them, until I began receiving bills and past due bills from Quest. This is beyond frustrating! I already paid for the labs, I have all of the receipts, lab draw date, doctors name who ordered the labs, documentation of all conversations and emails. I've considered suing them in court. Now I assume they will send the bill to collections and send a negative credit rating to the credit bureaus. I have excellent credit and always pay my bills and on time, legitimate bills. This bill is not legitimate, it is a fraudulent bill. This is all their error, 100%! I did exactly as I was told to do, yet now I am the victim of fraudulent billing by Quest Diagnostics. I will never ever again use Quest Diagnostics, and I cannot stress enough just how unethical at best this company really is.

It took several calls from me to finally have someone to tell me that the drawing station I went placed it on hold. Not my doctor. Not me. They did. They decided to do so on their own without letting me or my doctor know about it. This action of them is affecting my health care. I spoke to a Supervisor at the national center who will get in touch with that drawing station; hence, that specific drawing station will have to give them 'permission' to run my blood and produce results. Who on Earth are this people, whose only license (if at best) is the license to draw blood, process it and send it to the testing Laboratory?

Why do my health care needs to be on hold without any kind of notice to me or my doctor? Who are these individuals to affect the care of my health or anyone's on their unjustifiable decision? Who are these individuals that have such a lack of care, compassion, reliability and accountability? How can anyone trust a company that does totally the opposite of what their 'healthcare mission' is? Why are they working there? Who are they to decide for me or my doctor? I imagine if this would be for a patient that has cancer or another life threatening illness whose immediate treatment depends on these laboratory results...

BEWARE! I will never, ever, ever return to Quest even if it is supposed to be in-network because they've proven they will overcharge and not care for their patients if given the opportunity.

A complaint has been lodged with the US Department of Health and Human Services. It is 2023 and they are a healthcare organization and provider. There is no reason for such shoddy billing systems or noncompliance with federal and state laws. Their customer service staff was extremely rude and told me to 'Go ahead and report me' So I did.

Quest never asked me for my secondary insurance information - I assumed that they had gotten this info from my clinic since the two were in the same building - just across the hall. But instead, after they billed me a second time, they immediately reported me to the local credit services agency as a deadbeat who didn’t pay his bills. Again, I had assumed that they were interacting with my secondary insurance company and billing them, but they never bothered to even ask me for this information. I have had blood work done at Quest Diagnostics in Lubbock, TX for many years. There used to be someone at the front desk to help with questions or direct you on how to sign in. This morning when I got to Quest to have blood work done that had a new sign-in program and no one to explain. I did what the screen asked. I was a walk-in and the screen asked me that. There were five people that were walk-ins that came in after me and they begin to be called back. I asked the technician when she called the first lady back that had come in after me and she went and got another tech who when she came out called in someone else, while I was trying to explain that I had been there waiting.

So two people that were walk-ins after me were called in before me. I told her I had done what the machine told me and she proceeded to tell me that I had done it wrong and she would show me. The machine told me when I signed in that the next appointment would be at 9:40. I watched all five people that signed in after me get to a different screen, so I didn't know what I had done wrong but was clearly going to be put in my place by being made to wait until there was no one else. I said no thanks and walked out and went to another place and was waited on in a matter of three minutes. I do not recommend this place. I am computer savvy and own two small businesses and would never treat a customer like I was treated.

I just returned from Quest at Peachland in Port Charlotte and I'm livid. I had bloodwork done two days ago and my doctor requested a 24 hour urine sample. I followed the instructions from the first thing one morning until the first thing the next morning. It was a royal pain having to do that every time I had to urinate. I had to keep it refrigerated at all times and was told to return the large jug of urine to the lab when I was finished. When I arrived at the lab the next morning, it was busy. I asked if I could go in front of people just to drop off the jug. No problem with the customers, but the lady behind the desk said I must check in at the kiosk. I told her that I was just dropping off a sample. She said it didn't matter that I had to check in. There was no provision for dropping off a sample, so I had to check in as a walk-in for regular lab work.

When I saw the queue for people with appointments compared to the number of people waiting as walk-ins, I figured that I'd be there for at least an hour or more, sitting in the room with my jug of urine. Finally after about 15 minutes the lady opened the door to let someone else in and I quickly put the jug inside the door. It had my name and all other info on it, and she said "I can't take that" in a not-so-friendly voice. I said to her that I'm not waiting to drop off a urine sample. She said that she'd throw it out, and I told her to go ahead and do what she had to do. So 24 hours of following instructions for naught. Why didn't they tell me upfront that I needed an appointment to drop the sample off? I will never go to Quest again. Not only is the procedure ridiculous in my opinion just to drop off a sample, it's embarrassing to have to sit in a full waiting room with your jug of urine between your feet.

Location: Bristol Quest Diagnostics, 935 Farmington Avenue, Bristol, CT 06010 (860) 516-5902. I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the care my child received at your facility today. Upon arrival, my child, who is a transgender individual, came in for a scheduled blood work appointment. A female staff member verified system is working. My daughter utilized system and checked in.

We were told to wait in the car and that we would receive a text when it was time to come in. However, after waiting for an extended period of time, we were not texted, and the facility closed without my child receiving the necessary care. No one contacted us to let us know, nor granted our check in 1.5 hours prior to closure. My phone calls were not answered.

This lack of care and consideration is unacceptable, especially given the already difficult circumstances that my child faces as a transgender individual. It is important that all individuals, regardless of their gender identity, receive the necessary medical care and treatment they need. I urge you to review your policies and procedures to ensure that all patients, including transgender individuals, are treated with the respect and care that they deserve. I hope to hear back from you regarding this matter and any steps that will be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

So I spent several paydays broke since the first unauthorized payment came out of my account right after paying them. Then the next payday they took not just 1 payment... but 3. I suffered through until the next payday.

After the stunt they pulled I only owed about $10. Low and behold they've decided to take another unauthorized $60 payment from my account. I now have to cancel that card and have it replaced to make sure they can't keep taking from it. On top of all of that, I was making payment through their website. It lumps any bills from them together with no option to pay each bill individually. I'm making payments thinking that the payments are going equally toward each bill when I get a letter in the mail that they've sent 1 of them to collections. When I call the company about it, I'm told that the website doesn't allow partial payments. Then how have I been paying this whole time? Absolute nightmare of a company that deserves to go under. Quest cashed my payment 10/12, then sent my account to collections just 8 days later.

It is acceptable for Quest to ASSUME that patients just know to contact them to set a plan up (even though they already cashed my check, so things looked completely fine on my end and there was no reason to call). If it is acceptable for Quest to ASSUME I knew I was required to contact them, why is it not acceptable for me to have ASSUMED they had me on a payment plan since they had cashed my check? Anything to get me off the phone.

My doctor is furious that I did not have the lab work done at the local hospital. Again, I had no problem with the tech who drew the blood or the local facility. Getting results, however, is a nightmare, and trying to find out what is going on with missing results is a battle with rude and incompetent personal. Quest had no problem charging my insurance.
