What is Henry Meds?

Henry Meds is a telehealth platform that focuses on weight loss and testosterone treatment.

Users typically start by completing an online health assessment, after which they consult with a licensed health care provider. If deemed appropriate, the provider may prescribe medications that can be delivered directly to the patient's home. Henry Meds reports that it aims to make it easier for individuals to access weight management treatments without needing to visit a physical doctor's office.

How does Henry Meds work?

Henry Meds provides patients with a free online medical form to complete. It may request lab work to ensure a medical need for treatment.

Then, you meet via teleconference to talk with a licensed nurse practitioner or physician about possible treatment plans. Finally, if appropriate, a pharmacy will fill the prescription every 30, 60 or 90 days.

The program is billed monthly and includes telehealth visits and a prescription. If you decide to fill your prescription outside of its suggested pharmacies, you may have to pay an additional cost.

Is Henry Meds legit?

Yes, Henry Meds is a legitimate telehealth platform. The providers see clients based on state licensing, and a list of its medical professionals can be found here.

I purchased Semaglutide from Henry Meds beginning in January 2025. The vile was supposedly for a three month supply at $297/month. Approximately 2.5 months later, Henry Meds sent another vile for the next three months. The monthly $297 was continuing to be deducted from my financial account. By May, I felt the product was not working as promised or planned. I stopped using the product and stopped ordering from Henry Meds. Approximately two weeks ago, I inquired with Henry Meds about reactivating my account and giving Semaglutide another try. I was informed by a rep at Henry Meds that in order to reactivate my acct and continue Semaglutide, I would need to complete a new telehealth appointment for the new subscription to be activated. Furthermore, I would need to pay the remaining $297 for the second vile received in late March and an additional $297 to activate the new subscription following a telehealth conference call.

Prior to making the two payments last week, I inquired about the second payment for the new subscription and if I decided not to go through with it. The rep stated if I declined to go through with the new subscription, they would refund the second payment. Following the telehealth appointment on June 30, 2025, I informed Henry Meds I was not going to continue with them and to refund the additional $297 paid last week for the new subscription since I decided not to go through with it. Per attached email, Henry Meds is not refunding the second $297 paid last week for the "new subscription", insisting I owed that. When speaking with a rep from Henry Meds via phone the other day, I asked why they are charging me $297 upfront when they haven't prescribed anything. The rep stated if I decided not to go through with it following the appointment today, I will be refunded. Now, they're wanting to keep my money.

I had a terrible experience with this company’s customer service. I was prescribed a specific dosage, but their prescription didn’t reflect it correctly — which caused my medication to run out early. I flagged the issue before it became a problem, yet they took no action. As a result, I went without medication for 10 days, which seriously affected my mental and physical well-being. Despite this, they told me to wait another 10 days for a resolution. Meanwhile, of course, they had no issue processing the monthly payment. I’ve since switched to a more reliable provider. I do not recommend this service to anyone who values their health or timely care. In short, Their core responsibility is to ensure hormone stability — and they completely failed to do that.

Do not use. They will charge your card even if you demand it be deleted. That is blatant fraud. They lie about absolutely everything. I was supposed to receive 2.5 ml and was shipped 2ml. I PAID for 2.5. I am disputing the money with my bank and will proceed with a lawsuit against them. They lie about everything. They used to be ok but no more.

I reached out to them and reference to Phentermine, specifically asking if they offered it only in the form compounded with Topiramate. The website shows pictures of Phentermine alone name on the bottle, but I could only find information on the website about the compound with Topiramate.

So I emailed them to clarify because I am not interested in the compound because even though it is FDA approved and technically called safe I don't really see taking an anti-convulsion medication like Topiramate as something for weight loss regardless of what I have reader been advised in articles. Especially in one pill that is the other side of stimulant that is to suppress your appetite. I'm just not comfortable with it, but to each their own and we are all different. I'm not here to make judgment on those that have or say that facts about it or untrue, just not what I was interested in. I've taken Phentermine for years and had great results so that's what I was looking for only..

I get this template email back that essentially starts with they're overwhelmed with messages right now so it could take a long time for them to get back to me, I'm paraphrasing of course, along with basically a bunch of links that is exactly what the website is along with a specific template response to me about some type of Ozempic type med. Not in any point in that email did it say anything about Phentermine at all. This made me very uneasy and decided that I wouldn't proceed at all regardless if they did have the medication I was seeking.

My first impression through their first contact with me was giving the vibe of, "We are overwhelmed, we don't know when we're going to get back to you and we're going to push the most expensive weight loss drugs we have on you in this email and not even address that yourself personally or even the product you inquired about." I'm not inquiring about buying a pair of shoes or renting a vehicle. I'm inquiring about healthcare. I'm inquiring about my body that I reached out to you considering getting care for and I got a hideous template email back.

I can only imagine what type of hoops I would have to jump through to get a hold of somebody if I did go with them for care. So overwhelmed by just an initial question that you don't know when you're going to be able to get back to me but yeah you will schedule me that 15 minute initial consultation tomorrow at 9:00 in the morning. Please make that make sense. It shows that they're all about the money. You are most likely going to get horrible health care and who knows if you're even going to get what you're supposed to get. Hard pass for me.

I expressed all of this to them very clearly in a response email. But I doubt they'll even read it let alone think about it or take it to heart. I'm a legal scholar with a master's in journalism and a master's in business so not only just from a consumer's viewpoint but also from the actual business standpoint was trying to give constructive criticism feedback and also let them know that their practice of communication and making someone feel comfortable is horrendous.

Canceled before my online appointment or receiving any product and they refused to credit my card. I was told on two different occasions that I would be reimbursed and then was told a manager refused my reimbursement. I submitted a claim with my bank for help and I'm still waiting.

I signed up with Henry Meds for the phentermine weight loss program on April 18th 2025. It is now May 17th and I have still not received my medication. I have reached out to them multiple times and they have not done anything except tell me they're behind and the medication will eventually be shipped. I don't know what to do at this point.

The billing is insane. You can't cancel. There is no support or appointments after 5 or on weekends. Can't get an appointment or products? They still bill you. Want to Cancel? Great, they still bill you. Want to talk to someone about billing? No one will respond and their phone lines are on perpetual hold. Can't speak to their meds because I never received any. I am out $464 never talked to a dr. Never got any meds and they will be billing another $1600.

The meds were legitimate, but they continued to charge me $50/month (non-refundable) after my discontinuation. My accountant picked up that the charges were still coming in and asked if I was still receiving product. The email address for Henry Meds was listed on my American Express bill. Numerous attempts to reach them went unanswered.

This company is the worst. I didn't even receive one order and they will do nothing. You are also locked into a subscription that is overpriced once you do the initial teaser rate. Don't use them! Look around and you can find better deals on the things they sell on Groupon or others.

Terrible Customer Service! The pricing system is how they get you... The 'fee' isn't based on the amount of medication they send you, it's for the 'service' of completely unreachable techs. So my three months of medication actually cost me $1250... and then when I didn't renew my subscription they quietly 'switched' me to a 'maintenance' plan (no additional contact, certainly no product) and kept quietly charging me $50/month for six months. When I finally discovered the charge and asked for a refund they REFUSED, citing that I had never emailed them back!! AVOID THESE SCAMMERS. They are also incredibly difficult to get in contact with.
