What is Eden?

Eden is an online health company that offers a wide variety of metabolic health supplements and medications through subscription services. The company connects patients with licensed medical professionals who provide personalized support for weight management plans. It works with a network of state-licensed pharmacies to deliver prescription medications to customers nationwide.

How does Eden work?

To get started with Eden, you’ll complete a three-minute questionnaire about your health goals, which includes your ideal target weight, your current Body Mass Index (BMI) and your motivation for wanting to lose weight. You’ll also answer questions about health conditions and any medications you may be taking.

Once you submit the health form, you’ll be connected to a medical provider for an online consultation. Your provider will work with you to develop a treatment plan that may include prescription medication shipped free from one of Eden’s licensed pharmacy partners.

Compounded medications sold by Eden are mixed in state-licensed compounding pharmacies that undergo third-party testing by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). However, it’s important to note that compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated for safety or effectiveness in clinical trials like brand-name drugs.

Eden weight loss medications

Eden offers both brand-name and compounded GLP-1 medications, like Wegovy and Ozempic, which are used to manage Type 2 diabetes and obesity. It also has other health-related prescriptions, like Methylene Blue for mood enhancement and Sermorelin to support muscle growth. Additional weight loss medications available offers include:

  • Oral semaglutide: Compounded semaglutide administered using a dropper once daily.
  • Compounded semaglutide: Same active ingredient as Ozempic and Wegovy and is injected weekly.
  • Compounded semaglutide with MIC & B12: Includes methionine inositol choline (MIC) and vitamin B12, which can promote weight loss and improve energy and mood.
  • GLP-1 Rx Gummies: Chewable semaglutide gummy taken once daily.
  • Mounjaro: Once weekly injectable with tirzepatide that’s FDA-approved for managing blood sugar levels in adults with Type 2 diabetes.
  • Zepbound: Once weekly injectable that also uses tirzepatide and is FDA-approved for weight management plans in adults with obesity.
  • Compounded tirzepatide: Once weekly injectable that uses the same active ingredient as Mounjaro and Zepbound.
  • Everyday+ Weight: Weight loss pills customized by a doctor based on your health goals (may include ingredients like inositol, low-dose naltrexone and L-carnitine).

Eden cost

Weight loss injection costs generally range between $1,000 and $1,500 per month. Eden offers billing discounts on its compounded and proprietary medications. For example, you can save money on compounded semaglutide if you opt for quarterly billing ($276 per month) instead of monthly billing ($296 per month). In addition, Eden provides discounts on the first month’s dose.

We appreciate that Eden promises transparent, upfront pricing. Costs include shipping as well as an initial consultation and ongoing doctor’s visits. The company promises a “same price at every dose” guarantee, which means the cost per dose won’t rise as your dose increases.

Here’s a breakdown of Eden’s other medication costs:

*As of publishing

Keep in mind that Eden does not take insurance, so you’ll pay the full list price for medications, which includes ongoing medical visits with your provider and shipping. The company does not charge a separate membership fee, and you can cancel your subscription anytime without penalty.

Initially, like others, it seemed fine. The process was easy. I changed from generic Ozempic to generic Zebound. I had less side effects overall but more nausea. I contacted the Dr. chat function and they referred me to the Customer Care chat to request a form for Zofran. Completed the form which prefills with the medical info. I provided at sign up but doesn't ask about any symptoms. But, 15 Zofran are shipped to assist with nausea and vomiting. 15 pikks for a whole month...I conserve and only take when absolutely necessary. Next month, generic Zebound prescription comes but no Zofran. The app says I need to complete a new visit to get it renewed for the next mo. Try to complete the visit and it says I'm no longer eligible...nothing changed and I take no other prescription meds.

On top of it, the app won't "complete" the visit and it continues to show overdue. Talk to customer service, they tell me to try doing from the home screen...really, where do they think I tried it from? Keep trying. Write customer service, circular response. They also resoond via chat and say...you haven't responded so we are closing the chat? Of course I hadn't responded. I was at work, not watching the app to see if they responded to my over the weekend inquiry. I write again. And again I write that I'm waiting for a response. I get an apologetic response. They says it's been cleared and I should now be eligible if I go back and retry. Nope. Same thing "no longer eligible" and then stuck.

I write again. I even write to the Dr. What a joke. The Dr. says write to customer care. There is NO Dr. assistance provided. And the app is so broken in other ways too but they don't care. The app continues to show "overdue" injections from the prior subscription and doesn't show me anything about current meds. I believe there are so many other providers available now, people should steer clear of Eden. They were highly rated when I started but I think 1* is being generous.

I purchased a year subscription to a GLP1. After 5 months of consistent monthly prescriptions, a 6th month was sent and was a very different prescription. There was no communication from the company. I reached out to the doctor assigned to me. He told me to reach out to customer service. They said they could not help me and to reach out to the doctor.

I finally got a single point of contact that stated that it should be the doctor but did nothing to help that communication. This all took more than 8 weeks, while more prescriptions were sent (all matching the original 5 months). I never took the odd prescription since no one could explain it to me. When I asked for my recurring deliveries to end and get a refund for my remaining 3 months, they refunded me $11 of the $2,252 that I paid for 12 months. The customer service agent was pleasant, however would not raise it anywhere when I questioned the value of the refund. Would you be ok with injecting something into your body that the doctor couldn't explain? And continue to pay for it?

Initially, Eden Health was great. It was very simple to get through the health screening, and get the initial order. Shipping times were very good, and I have no issues with the medication itself. I experience steady weight loss over the six months I was with them. That is, until the check-in. The check-in process was extremely frustrating. I get emailed saying that my next shipment requires a check-in on the portal, so I go to the portal, click on check-in... and nothing. Nothing happens, so I figure, it's a glitch with the portal, I'll try again tomorrow. Tomorrow comes, I try again, nothing. Whatever, I have a couple weeks to do this, I'll just give it another day.

A week passes, finally I try again, clicking on check-in works. It goes smoothly, or so I thought. At this point I'm not sure what went wrong, but apparently a system glitch showed that I never did the check-in, and nobody at Eden ever bothered to tell me or offer a solution. The week my shipment is supposed to go out comes and goes without a peep from Eden. I contact their support, they tell me absolutely nothing. At no point did anyone explain to me why my shipment was delayed. When I did hear back, it took days to receive any communication, and even then no resolution was offered. No compromise, no proactive communication from Eden. Because I have come to rely on this medication, I was forced to seek a prescription from a third party. I will be sharing my experience with both current and potential Eden customers and cautioning them to stay away.

I placed an order for a GLP-1 medication and was charged immediately. After 10 days, I have yet to receive confirmation of shipment or a tracking number. Each time I follow up, I receive inconsistent or unclear responses regarding the status of my order. Additionally, I have requested to speak with a supervisor, but my requests have not been accommodated. This lack of transparency and customer support is concerning. I advise others to exercise caution when considering this company..

I have been a customer for approximately two years. Initially, the company was very good, I lost 40 pounds and have not been able to lose a single pound in the past year. But what's more important is a financial component that people need to be aware of. Eden offered an annual subscription which I took because it reduced the cost per month and quite honestly they're ordering process is just horrible and their dashboard is never updated or accurate. They canceled the annual subscription without informing me and when I went to get a refund, they tell me that in their 60 day terms of use I'm not eligible for a refund for approximately $1500. Buyer beware. They do things behind the scenes without notifying their customers/patients.

Absolute horrible communication. They are constantly changing pharmacies. My side effects got so bad I had to stop taking the semaglutide all together. After explain this to them, they seemed to not care at all. Not to mention the billing department is very fishy. I paid for a year upfront, but after 3 months that balance 'disappeared". Had to argue and call numerous time just to get a "gift balance" for what I already paid. These telehealth companies are such a scam and should be outlawed. You have no idea what you're taking and the vials are different every month!

I've been on a GLP-1 for a year. I wanted to see what my other options were that were not only more affordable but faster delivery. The "doctor" looking over my script and in the initial chat was super rude. My previous physician didn't require me to go in for appointments unless my dosage changed. The last time that happened was 8 months ago. After I provided paperwork and explained that, Dr. ** said "it's unlikely you've been on that dosage the last month." So I'm a liar now? At the end of the day, it's a business and employing doctors that speak to potential customers like they're stupid is not sustainable. Glad my initial payment wasn't processed and returned to my account. Judging by the other reviews they're not great at refunds either. I ended up going with another service who literally took minutes to approve me and 2 days to send me my medication. They were also very quick and helpful when I had questions.

They refuse to cancel my order while continuously extending wait times. The customer service is AI based GARBAGE. Don’t use them. They tried to blame a snow storm when my script was put in 10 days before it even hit. The lab is supposedly in IA. The storm was in the east. I’m so angry and annoyed that I have to fight them via my credit card company now.

Absolutely horrible and so stressful. My first month was fine even though I noticed no effects of the very low dose medication. The second month the pharmacy sent me the exact same prescription and injection schedule by accident. It took several days for support to even answer me about this, and then it took several days to resolve the issue. Talking in circles with people, sending photos of the labels I was sent, etc… They created a conversion where I would inject more units of what I was sent to make it equivalent to what I should have been taking (I trusted that conversion was correct but who knows).

Since the new amount of units for the 4 weeks (260 units) was sooo much more than the amount in the vial I was actually sent (100 units), I would have needed another vial and a half to get me through just 4 weeks. Apparently support didn’t catch this issue because I had to tell them about the extra call and a half I needed or else I wouldn’t be able to finish the 4 weeks. They sent another single fail (100 units) meaning I would still be short 60 units which would’ve been my injection for the last week of that month. So, for the next 2 weeks, I was chatting with them back and forth nearly everyday explaining the medicine deficit to new people over and over.

Talking to them is like banging your head into a wall… I would say that I needed more medication or else I wouldn’t have enough for my revised prescribed dosage schedule and their response would be “if you would like to change your concentration please contact the doctor” LOL. Regardless, they never sent the extra 60 units I needed, so I had to change the dosage schedule myself to stretch what I had (200 units instead of 260 units) across 4 weeks (50 units a week instead of 50 for 2 weeks then 78 for 2 weeks). By the time anyone acknowledged the issue that I had been trying to alert them to, it was too close to the injection date to ship my next month early. Honestly I am just so over this company I am about to switch which is such a shame because after 10 weeks with them I have lost 2 pounds. It has been more stressful that it was worth.

I never received an email of confirmation but yet still received the medication I didn’t want. Do not sign up. I signed up for a one-year membership with Eden back in June, hoping for a reliable and professional service. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The first shipment took over a month to arrive, far beyond the promised timeline. At the time, Eden had no customer service phone number, only a chatbox that took nearly a week to yield a response. I didn’t receive my package until a full month after they claimed it had shipped.

The second shipment was even worse. Sent on September 29th, it was mailed to the wrong address. This means a complete stranger now has access to my full name and knows what medication I take. This is not just inconvenient, it’s a serious breach of my privacy, and I’m currently exploring legal options to address it. Eden has since added a customer service number, so I called on October 1st and spoke with Deondra. She was friendly, but unfortunately couldn’t offer a real solution. She said the product would be reshipped, but as of October 10th, it still hasn’t even been mailed.

I called again today (10/10) and spoke with another representative, LeAnn, who was shockingly rude and dismissive. She hung up on me mid-conversation. This experience has left me feeling frustrated, unheard, and genuinely concerned about how Eden handles sensitive customer information. I would strongly caution others before signing up. Reliable service and basic respect for customer privacy should be non-negotiable, and Eden has failed on both fronts.

I do not recommend. Formula and dosage directions kept changing, received a concentrated solution, and if I had followed the directions provided to me in the app an overdose could have been possible. I was messaged twice by two different doctors saying that the amount I would inject would be different. They also added niacinamide without my consent. I had to go through my medicine cabinet and check my supplements because I was really worried about a possible overdose (which is possible with certain B vitamins, I am not a medical professional).

The portal notified me that I was charged twice. Customer service said this was an error on their part, thankfully. It took 3 weeks to arrive. You can see in the photo (this is an unopened "full" bottle). There are so many other options on the market, please keep looking. Dosage and medical advice should not be provided by a customer service representative, they could hurt someone prescribing medicine in this way.

Try Eden Review: -5 Stars if Possible. Try Eden is hands down the worst “medical” service I’ve ever dealt with. Their customer service is nonexistent, their medical advising is sloppy at best, and their shipping practices are laughable. They mailed my product in a flimsy envelope—it arrived damaged—and they refused to replace it. To make matters worse, my order was delivered to the wrong address. Even after I sent them clear photos showing the mistake, their response was basically “take it up with UPS.” Zero accountability.

This company takes your money, delivers poor (if any) guidance, and disappears the second there’s an issue. They make you do all the chasing, and they couldn’t care less about their customers’ health or satisfaction. If you actually want a reliable, professional peptide service with a solid reputation, go with Mile High Compounds instead. They do what Try Eden pretends to. Final verdict: If I could give Try Eden -5 stars, I would.

I signed up and paid upfront for a 6-month GLP-1 program with Eden, and it has been an absolute nightmare. The first 3 months were fine — I received the correct dosage. But when it came time for the remaining 3 months, everything went wrong. Eden made me pay again for a 4th month even though I still had $828 on my account. When that month arrived, the medication was half the strength of what I had been taking, which meant I basically got half a month’s worth and had to start over.

I contacted customer service multiple times (I’ve honestly lost count), and their response was terrible. Eventually, I was told I could take a refund for the remaining months. The refund they gave me was only $252 — completely wrong based on what I had paid. When I pushed back, they told me the “pricing changed” since I didn’t complete the 6 months. That’s ridiculous. I didn’t complete the 6 months because of their mistake, not mine.

This company is not only bad at customer service, they’re bad at basic math. Their policies and practices feel dishonest at best, fraudulent at worst. I’m left shorted, frustrated, and with my treatment disrupted. Warning to anyone considering Eden: don’t waste your time, money, or health here. They do not deliver what they promise and will fight you on refunds when it’s their own mistake.

Twice I have received my medication in flimsy envelope packaging with one hot melted ice pack. The medication being bright red. Customer service had the nerve to tell me this was safe because the pharmacy says that’s how they do it. A very short amount of time on Google to learn that is not safe. Also adding so much vitamin b that it turns bright red is unacceptable and not the quality I paid for. I’m disgusted by this company.
