I've had my Casper for a little under three years. At first it was very comfortable! But about 18 months in, the quality started to go downhill. My boyfriend is heavier than me, and every time he moves, my side of the bed moves too. The surface of the bed slants underneath me, with the side that is closer to my boyfriend lower than my other side. The mattress has deteriorated so badly that now it is even uncomfortable when I am alone in the bed. I wake up with back pain every morning.

I tried to take Casper up on their 10-year warranty, but they would not honor my claim. They will only replace your mattress if there is a permanent indentation or if the foam is cracked. Unfortunately, when I initially called in and asked about this policy, I was (incorrectly) told that I could be eligible for a replacement. I wasted time taking pictures, moving my bed around to get different shots that they wanted, and emailing back and forth -- only to be denied. What a waste of time. To sum it up, this is a low-quality product that does not last, and the "warranty" is not sincere. I spent over $1000 on a mattress that didn't even last me three years. I regret buying a Casper.

Casper is a big FAIL and cannot deliver, literally. After laying out the facts of what occurred, readers can decide for themselves whether to engage with this company. After having done a lot of online research, on July 10, 2020 my husband and I visited a Casper store and within 50 minutes had bought and paid for 2 Hybrid Wave mattresses, an adjustable base, and 2 mattress pads, a substantial purchase. We were going to need in-home delivery and were told that the delivery company Casper works with, XPO, would not resume their in-home delivery service until August 1. We were fine with that.

On August 4, I connected back with Casper to find out what was happening. I was told that after August 10 XPO would re-start their in-home delivery and I should be hearing from XPO soon to set up a delivery date. Days past and I heard nothing from either Casper or XPO. There was a good deal of confusion at this point as to whether the mattresses had been shipped and where they were. The mattresses were then shipped the week of Aug. 17 and arrived at XPO on Monday morning, Aug. 24 (I know this because of UPS tracking). XPO already had the base in their warehouse. I then waited for a call from XPO to at least set up a delivery date. Having heard nothing from XPO by Aug. 27, I told our Casper salesperson that if we did not hear from XPO by Monday afternoon, Aug. 31, we were canceling our order, which is exactly what ended up happening.

During the better part of August, there many emails and phone calls between myself and our salesperson. She tried mightily to make this work and we appreciated all of her effort but we were becoming increasingly anxious about having paid for these items without having a clear idea of when we might be receiving them. She contacted her area manager and customer service but nothing seemed to make a difference. My salesperson told me someone from customer service would be contacting me but they never did. At the end, when I tried to contact a Casper customer service manager so I could relate all that had occurred, I was told I would be called back, but that never happened either. On the day I canceled my order, one of the store managers working that day agreed that I should cancel my order as there was no ETA on my delivery.

This experience caused a great deal of stress for us and much time was spent in just trying to get the product delivered which never came to fruition. I have never had a customer experience like this and am deeply disappointed in Casper and XPO. Casper has much corporate soul-searching to do if this is the company they have become.

It good service for shipping or delivery mattress during covid situation and they do good quality mattress. I will said 4 star... they very good care of when they come your place delivery mattresses. Use mask and glove and cover shoe.. And very great customer service on phone. Will answer your question whatever on your mind and good warranty for mattress if damage.

Bed sinks to one side when shared. Thus I often feel as if I'm rolling towards the tip or sleeping lopsided. The bed does not fit well on a traditional box spring as it slides across. Packaging allowed ease of preparing. The staff was helpful upon initial purchase but have had no follow up from them to see how the bed is fairing. Overall it is much better than a traditional bed.

This is the best mattress I have slept on in my life and would buy it again. Was deliver through UPS so that was convenient and easy. My husband and I have had this mattress for five years and still love it.

This mattress had lasted two times better than the previous one that I got at IKEA. It came conveniently in the hands of my wonderful UPS gal, Sandy. She said if it doesn't work she would figure out how to stuff the gini back in the battle.

Casper makes a great mattress. Both my wife and I sleep very well on our new mattress. Delivery was fast and convenient. We paid cash so financing was not an issue. The ordering and delivery process was fast and accurate. No complaints whatsoever.

We have pleased with our mattress. We purchased it a year ago. We did finance it through Mattress Firm. It’s one of the adjustable ones, so it was somewhat pricey, but we are satisfied with what we paid for it. Customer service was good and presented no issues for us. Delivery was ok as well.

I love the Casper. It is like sleeping on a cloud..no more body pain.. cushions and cradles as you sleep.. I suffered with chronic pain mostly in my lower back due to degenerative disc disease.. since the change to the casper I have no more pain... Thank you for being my lifesaver.

Very easy ordering process. Delivery was seamless and on the date promised. Opening the packaging was simple. The mattress was ready in hours. Mattresses are generally way overpriced. This product seems to be priced equivalent with the value delivered to the customer.

I was hearing about this from my sister and she and her husband were bragging about how good it slept. And I told my husband that we were going to check it out. It good quality and very nice so we bought one. And you know it was a very good investment for us.

Delivery came in separate ways for the different pieces so it was delayed a bit. Instructions were clear on how to assemble. It all worked out well and for the frame foundation and mattress. We thoroughly enjoy it.

Casper mattresses are THE best mattresses. I have had mine about 2 years now and it's just as great as when I bought it. I don't think I'll ever use another brand again. Their customer service is also spectacular!

This review has everything to do with the customer service and the MASSIVE shipping delay. A week after accepting my $1500 payment for my Casper bed I was informed that "due to high demand" it would be delayed 6 weeks. I purchased a bundle, and received the foundation, and the mattress protector in two separate deliveries, with the impending bed being the third. After 3 unanswered emails, unanswered text, and multiple calls with sleep specialists, they have either flat out ignored me (zero responses via email so far) or stonewalled me over the phone. I feel this was a bait and switch. The closest I got was "we'll see if there's anything we can do and then email you" and they never emailed me.

They get you in the door with a $1500 purchase, delay your product 6 weeks, and allow you to upgrade to a bed "in stock" for $700 that can ship ASAP. It's a terrible tactic, and the sleep specialists have not tried to help remedy me in any other way. My only alternative was a partial refund for the bed not yet shipped and a separate refund once a courier could come pick up the mattress protector and foundation, both of which would take time to process. This is bad business. I have to say the customer service thus far has been terrible and not a good start to a relationship with a new customer. So basically I am either without a bed for 6 weeks, I cave to the bait and switch and pay $700 to upgrade from the original hybrid to the Nova, or I get a piecemeal refund over time, and eventually be able to put it towards another bed. Casper, if you are reading this, please remedy this terrible situation. Thanks.

On Memorial Day we purchased a mattress from them and the website gave us a huge discount. It shipped, then we couldn’t track it because it was returned to them because they noticed the discount but will not honor it. Offered only a $50 discount after multiple phone calls. Said it was a glitch in their system. We even have the email confirmation that shows their own website gave the discount and it’s not our fault and a good company would honor the mistake. Nope. Not them! Will never order from them now.

The bed itself wasn’t terrible, but for the money we didn’t love it and decided to try a different bed 3 weeks in (well inside their 100 day free trial period). Customer Service was adamant that we give it at least 30 day trial for “our bodies to adjust”. After 45 days (still within our return period) we called them up. Bed was still too firm for us and my wife and I both wake up with aches. They tell me they will gladly take back the mattress, but we are stuck with the frame because it only has a 30 day return policy. Several calls and requests to speak to a manager they are still refusing to give us a full refund. Very shady business practices and terrible customer service. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Really easy to order. Shipped to my home. Easy to setup. Gives very comfortable sleep. Made my backache go away. Was a good buy. Have some trouble keeping the sheets tucked under the bottom end because the mattress is so light, but so easy to make up.

I chose a Casper mattress 2 years ago because Consumer Reports rated it as one of the best. It has proven to be the best mattress I have ever owned. It is firm, but not rock hard. I’ve actually been sleeping better in the past 2 years. I don’t know if it’s the mattress, but I’m happy about that. Personally I am tall, thin, and a side sleeper. It was effortless to purchase online. It arrived in a timely manner in a box, and was easily unpacked and set up with the help of one other person. Thanks Consumer Reports.

We bought this about 4 years ago. It has caused us pain and stiffness but lately it is sagging and warped. We are not large people so I am very disappointed considering the cost and now it is too heavy to move out to the trash.

Ordering the mattress was very easy. I was able to get financing by putting down a down payment on it. The overall price was much cheaper than at a furniture store. After the purchase delivery was fast and it came in a box. I was able to set it up quickly. After 5 years I still have the mattress; however, you cannot flip it so I feel like it is wearing out already. I am looking into a new mattress, the price is right for Casper but not the longevity.

Had this bed for a year. So far bed is fine. Holding up very well. Stays cool. Moves well with your movement. Very comfortable. Mattress came out of box easily and opened up and puffed up well. I have had other people sleep on this bed and get nothing but good remarks about it.

I did not finance but that was not an option. When I slept on friend's Casper mattress while visiting, I had commented on how comfortable her mattress was. I was surprised to find out it was shipped in a box. I decided when my son was getting a new bed to use the same mattress company.

Way too soft. I own a $1000 queen size Casper mattress. It is dangerous to sleep in...everything hurts after 1 night in it...I should of replaced it when I had the chance....I want my money back..Is there a recall on the queen size casper?

I trusted Consumer Reports, but I should have known that a "comfort level" of 7 was going to be too soft. Figured I'd try it since I had like 100 days to give it a shot. It worked pretty well for the 100 days. Now, six months later, I am in absolute agony any night I sleep on it. Yes, I'm 6'4" and weigh 260 pounds. So, I'm a big guy. I think smaller people might find it just fine. But, frankly, I've now tried Casper and Tempurpedic - the Tempur was ok, and lasted much longer, but there's no way I'm paying $25,000 every 3-4 years. I finally went back to a good old fashioned spring loaded bed - firm, Simmons (great because of the individual coils). Talked them down on the price to about $475. No more back issues. Just buy an old fashioned spring bed and make sure it's firm. All these new foam and gel mattresses are a gimmick. I'm sure they're nice for some people. But if you have back issues, don't do it.

After paying $600 for the Essential Casper mattress, I had to return it after a month. I had awful back and shoulder pain because of how hard the mattress was. They have a 100 trial period, so no big deal, right? Nope. After weeks of coordinating with a charity they put me in contact with to pick-up the mattress, which included incidents of them not providing a time period of pick-up then coming at incorrect times, I finally got my return processed. Well, SOME of my return. $100 was put onto a non-rechargeable gift card (despite me telling them NOT to do that). The best part is that THEY threw away the gift card at the store.

I've been going back and forth with them for weeks, begging for the full card number so I can redeem it, store-credit, cashback, ANY HELP. They refuse. Now I'm out $100, their only consolation was that they'll tell their store employees not to throw away gift cards next time...You're better off getting a mattress from Amazon (which is what I did). Cheaper, more comfortable and they won't SCAM you.

My husband and I were extremely excited and anxious for our new bed. I am five months pregnant with our first child and our old mattress had terrible support. When we shopped at the store we had all the confidence in the world that we were buying a reputable product and that they would deliver and assemble our new bed with complete satisfaction. We were so happy with our purchase of what we had selected that we overlooked the fact that they told us 2-3 weeks for delivery. That's a LONG TIME especially for a pregnant woman with back pain to wait.

We got the best of the best adjustable pro frame and wave mattress. We waited what may have been over three weeks with poor communication for setting up our delivery. Finally it was delivery day and my husband was told by the delivery men that they had no idea they were supposed to install and remove our old mattress. This was incredibly unacceptable. They then proceeded to put the bed together and did it COMPLETELY incorrectly and when my husband questioned them they said “this is option 2. We do this all the time.” There is NO option 2. They rushed and left and my husband. Called the store manager to get clarification on the situation. He was told that they would be sending a tech right out.

Two hours later my husband still stuck at home waiting on his only day off of the week and still no one or no call back. He calls again and is told they are working on it. Another few hours go by and it's now 4pm. My husband’s whole day ruined and they tell him they can not send anyone. He is then instructed to remove the frame that they improperly installed and sleep on the mattress on our old frame. This was not something anyone could do alone nor should he have been asked to do such a thing. The frame must weigh over 300 pounds at least. Needless to say my husband tried his best because he knew with me being pregnant I would not be able to sleep on the floor or couch.

In the process of trying he damaged our wooden headboard. We needed to call for help and my parents who live 40 minutes away and my father who has a bad back were the only people who could help. Thank god they are handy and we didn’t have to go to a hotel. My husband then called corporate completely furious that he had been lied to all day and that it came down to them telling us that there was nothing they could do. Corporate was apologetic and told us they couldn’t promise anything but would be in touch tomorrow. They advised us to move the frame that was assembled incorrectly to the side and they would send someone out as soon as they could.

The next day they tell my husband that no one could be out for two more weeks! But they credited us $150. Unreal! Buyers beware! If you think you will be receiving a professional delivery and install DO NOT BE FOOLED. They use a 3rd party company and have TERRIBLE communication with them and us. If you love the product and have to have it then I seriously recommend setting up your own installation and prepare yourself for a long waited delivery. This is not a cheap product and nor should that matter. No one should have to deal with such incompetence or indecency in customer service.

I have purchased King size mattress from Casper on 6/26/2017. It has been less than 3 years which is within the warranty period (10 years). The mattress that I bought is defective and bent or more than an inch on the left side. This matter resulted in severe neck and back pain to my husband. I called to complain first on . to inform the company, but they advised me to keep rotating the mattress, which I was already doing. The matter with the pain kept getting worse by time passing by, to the point that my husband wakes up several times during his sleep from the pain. We even tried to switch sides, and I personally end waking up with the same pain he is suffering from.

I started emailing the company once more, trying to find a solution. The representative answer back at first by denying any possible relation to their product with my husband's pain, "which only happens while he is sleeping.” I simply asked him to send an inspector to check it; his answer was they could not send an inspector and just send pictures. I started to send pictures to the best I can since I am not a professional. Then he replied that he wants to see the box underneath the mattress. I responded by sending additional pictures as requested.

The representative language showed nothing but trying to find a way not to take responsibility. Stating: The boxes used are not our company’s box. Meanwhile, I am using the same type of boxes across the rooms in my house. He advised me that the warranty only covers when the bent is more than 1 inch, which I sent him updated pictures. I decided to reply back and copying the cofounder of the company hoping that someone would take responsibility and offer a solution. I was simply asking for a replacement for the defective mattress. I urge you to look into the matter, as this issue is becoming a health issue at this point. And the company is denying and rejecting all responsibilities.
