It went smoothly with Vanderbilt Mortgage. They were on time for everything. There wasn’t really much working around to do. They asked me for things I gotta do and then they got what they needed done. They got it done as quickly as possible. Every time I called and had a question, they were there to answer it. The only time I wasn’t really able get ahold of them was when they were on a lunch break. I could always email or call them and they would answer back.

My loan specialist was good at doing his job and any question I had, there was no, “I’ll get back with you and give you an answer.” He gave an answer right there. Since day one, they always worked with what I needed when I needed it. I had a schedule I had to be done by to be able to buy the house, and we met the schedule. I was trying to get closed before I left back to work and I didn’t have but about a week. From the time I filled out the application to the closing date, it wasn’t but about five to six days.

The application and underwriting took about 2 months and a half and it was the only part I was unhappy with. I do not know what the holdup was during that time and I was supposed to be in it by Thanksgiving. I always called about it a few weeks ahead of time, and I didn’t get in it until actually the week of Christmas. Also, I had a hard time getting a hold of anybody even my salesman in the week of Thanksgiving. No one could tell me why I couldn’t get a hold of somebody and all I kept hearing was, “Well, it’s close to the holiday.” But still, it was not the holiday yet that time. In the end, I’ve been happy with everything. Everybody’s been extremely friendly and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything, except for the mud I have to tread through to get to my house right now. But that’s nobody’s fault and they couldn’t help it. They had to get the old one out and get my new one in, so it is what it is.

The process to apply for the mortgage was very easy and efficient. I worked with Tammy and she made everything really simple and easy to understand. Communicating with her was very good also as I had no problems. Any questions I had, she had the answer for it. There was nothing that she left open or she had to call me back. I was very surprised about that because she knew the answer right away. Even the last call I got where they explained how the pay process worked, how I can online pay, and where I had to go to was very easy. And I can download the app too. This is the first time I ever had to do it and I'm really surprised how it went. I'm very positive. I used to live in a campground before they sold this home but now I got a house. And because of the experience I had, I already told somebody about Vanderbilt as he wanted to finance a trailer.

Vanderbilt Mortgage has been straightforward. They managed to be approachable and they worked with me all the way. The process, however, has been going on since October or November and they haven’t even finished setting me up yet. I’m not too thrilled about it knowing I have a payment coming up, and I’m not even in it yet.

The application and underwriting process with Vanderbilt did not take very long -- right around a month. Sometimes, I didn't understand what they were saying and they'd explain it in a different way, and it was good to have people that do that for you. They were very personable, and it was very easy to get ahold of them too. The knowledge of the loan specialist was fine. Every question that we had, they were able to answer it and they were able to tell us whatever question we had. I was asking about the furnace, how they went about making sure that the heating and air unit was good, and they said that they had to service it or check it so that they could sell the house. So, it had to be certified. It worked fine, so I was happy about that. Overall, they know their stuff and they are there to help you get your loan.

Vanderbilt has been perfect. Their lending process was easy, and it didn't take long at all. Their people communicated when they needed me to or they went ahead and just talk to me. And I'm pretty satisfied with my rep. I love the home I got. I like the double-pane windows instead of just lifting them up and going outside to wash the windows, I could just open them up and wipe from the inside.

Our loan specialist was Ben and communicating with Vanderbilt was easy. The application and underwriting process took about a month. Their interest rates are a little higher for me, but that is what I got to do for now. Putting in some protection, like a time limit on how long it is going to take before something set up, for the buyer when purchasing a home through whoever they give the approvals through would be helpful to the buyer. In our case, it took the subcontractors four months to set everything up -- we are moving in today.

Vanderbilt Mortgage's application and underwriting process was a bit long. We were told 30 days, but it went longer than that. Also, when you call, you talk to one person, but when you call again, they send you to another person. That was kinda irritating. I should at least have had a separate phone line to someone who could go over my questions and find out what was going on. Other than that, I'm fairly satisfied with the experience.

My parents had Vanderbilt a while ago. Vanderbilt kept me updated on everything and they were very detailed on who they are and what they do. If I had any questions, they were there for me 24/7 whenever I needed them. Everything seemed perfect. It was very easy to communicate with them because they were reaching out to me before I even had a chance to ask them a question. Amy was on point with everything. If she wasn't able to get ahold of me, she had someone else to reach out to me. She was very concerned more about the whole process because she wanted to make sure that everything went through correctly and that I was fully taken care of. As a first-time buyer, it was an awesome experience. It went by fairly quickly than what everyone else was telling me. The kind of deal that I was getting normally takes a little over a year to complete. But with me, it only took three to four months.

The application and underwriting process with Vanderbilt took around six weeks, which was quicker than I thought it was gonna be. The rep did a great job and they were very helpful and patient with me. They kept me informed on everything especially if you thought it was a little bit over the time limit that you were counting on. They would let you know what the holdup was. There was nothing left unexplained, which really made it good because you knew exactly what was going on and they exceeded the expectation by doing that. They did a fantastic job with that. Whenever they needed anything, they would let me know and I would get it to them. If I needed anything from them, I would ask them to send it to my email address and that way I could look at it and see what I’m doing. So, it worked out fine.

The people were very pleasant. If I called especially during a busy time of the day, they would let me know that someone would get back to me. All I needed to do was leave my name and phone number, and within a matter of an hour, they were back in touch with me. Each time I’ve reached a different person, they gave me their name and they were very pleasant, caring and wanted to offer their help. I’ve helped some people go through getting their home and this is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I have even sent people and recommended them to deal with them because it was such a good experience with us.

My wife and I purchased a new Clayton single wide mobile home in the summer of 2009. They first required a minimum of $10,000 down -- we paid $15,000 -- and started making monthly payments before the home was installed on the destination lot. We've paid on time, without fail for a decade, despite the constant increases in the mortgage payment due to Vanderbilt's annual Variable Rate Mortgage changes.

2019 was an absolutely awful year for our family. Both of us were laid off and both of us have dealt with medical emergencies. We managed to stay afloat through 2019 but we finally reached the end of our assets and resources as of January 2020. Both of us have tried speaking with Vanderbilt Loan Servicing, but get nothing but the runaround.

Vanderbilt's automated system boasts that if you've hit financial troubles they'll supposedly offer to help with temporary deferments and loan restructuring but they refused to do any of that. They told us to go look for social service programs to pay our rent for us (very few such programs exist, and even fewer understand the concept of having both a mortgage AND lot rent). From the first week we were past due on our bill they've been calling our phone weekly (sometimes daily) and spamming our e-mail inbox with reminders to pay and threats of foreclosure.

Now a second month behind, they've offered to give us a whopping $250 if we vacate the trailer -- but with so many stipulations there's no way they'd ever actually pay it (no damage to the walls including mounting holes? ALL original appliances? must be immediately move-in ready?). Meanwhile, as the retention officer was making that offer on the phone, they had already sent out foreclosure notices, which I was just notified will be delivered by Friday 2/15/20. Predatory, uncaring, disloyal company. They have no problems taking all your money but the minute you need help or compassion they leave you out to dry. Financing anything through them has been the biggest regret of my life.

I really like Vanderbilt Mortgage. My mother and I were getting a mobile home and were told that we were going through Vanderbilt Mortgage. The first call from them was great. They stayed in touch with us while in the loan process. They were polite and answered all our questions. And when we called them, they made sure that we got our answer. They might’ve put us on hold to talk to someone, but they helped us. At first, we had one rep but she couldn’t be with us anymore. Then we had another one. I also talked to some guy. All of them were professional. There was a lot I didn’t understand, but they helped me. If I didn’t understand something, they broke it down for me to understand.

When we first started, they went by my mother’s and my income. They gave us the numbers and how much to come down with. We were gonna use repo mobile home for the down payment and then $4,000 to go with the repo. They said yes at first, but a couple of weeks later, the numbers changed. About every two weeks, somebody called me and said that the numbers changed. Then it went up more money, then they called me back. It changed five times.

I thought that we would never get the mobile home because we didn't have $11,000. Also, our first payment is in the first week of March. I had talked to someone about a month ago and the lady said they were gonna mail us something about where to go and what to put on the money order, but I have not received anything. I was satisfied with everything else though.

The only thing that I had an issue with Vanderbilt was the separation in my insurance and taxes. It wasn’t clear in the paperwork what my insurance name was, how much was going to my insurance, and how much was going to my taxes. It was a combined total. But the part, when we were going over and signing all the paperwork, was pretty easy. If I didn’t sign the paperwork at that time, then it would have been put off for another who knows how long. So, it was kinda one of those things where like, “Do it now because the prices do match.” But just the clarification on what part of that is going to where when it comes to the escrow. Other than that, they went over everything and were really kind.

The application and underwriting took 45 minutes or less. Vanderbilt made closing this loan convenient for me. When we had to sit down with the power of attorney and all of that, they made it convenient for my schedule. Most of the time, my interaction with their reps is pretty short, to the point, then secure information that doesn't gobble up all of your time and confuse you. It's all like in laymen’s terms and it was easy to understand. I knew exactly what I was getting into. There wasn’t a lot of big words and a lot of small fine-print stuff that they didn’t know what they were talking about. It was all very descriptive. Also, they were very prompt.

From previous experiences I’ve had with other loans, whether it’s a car, home, motorcycle, or camper, my experience with Vanderbilt went really smooth, quick, and easy and there was not a lot of confusion and hidden costs. Everything was pretty much, “It’s gonna be this, this, and this and this.” Or “Add this up and that’s what it is.” And that’s how everything came out.

It was not very long. My husband, who dealt with the loan specialist, seemed to like the way that they handled it. They were very thorough, and whenever we had any questions, we would call. If they didn’t know the answer, they would figure it out and get back to us. Working with them has positively impacted our lives quite a bit considering we got our house -- we already moved in.

After almost 3 months we finally closed on our home. Not the first home I bought. I have never taken 3 months to close. Also at closing they had my name wrong on paperwork. I corrected them numerous times before closing as my name is a hyphenated first name and I know it's tricky to get right. However after 3 months of me continuously correcting them you'd think they'd get it right for closing. After closing they they had to send me an addendum saying all 10 of the names listed were actually me. The 10 alias names were names I had corrected to my name prior to closing and I guess it fell in deaf ears. Even my legal name was still incorrect on paperwork sent to correct their mistake. Then I had to pay notary to notarize the paper once I did get one with my correct name on. My personal opinion is if they didn't care enough to get my name correct after many many times of correcting them they don't care about their customer.

So I'll start paying for the mobile home this February, and I’m not living in there yet. I don’t even have the septic tank yet. But overall, communicating with them was pretty easy. Vanderbilt's application process was fairly easy, and it didn’t really take that long to get through. Vanderbilt went above and beyond. As far as helping us, they told us exactly what was needed. There was no beating around the bush. We knew what we had to do for it to get completely done. They worked with us on telling us how to get our payments as low as possible, as far as paying other stuff off that we already had. And since we weren’t moved in by the time that it was expected we move, they postponed the payment until like a month later whenever we needed it.

We worked with Stephanie. She was professional, but she was also laid back. And she spoke in laymen’s terms so that we could understand exactly everything. Vanderbilt was pretty much dead on. Every time something changed or came up or there was an update, we were called to texted and notified every single time. We went with a cheaper house so that we knew we could afford it better. But in my opinion, it's the same as one of the more expensive ones. It’s a great home for the price that it was. It's a single-wide that has three bedrooms. We didn’t exactly get to customize anything because of the brand of home it was, but we chose to have the laminate floor in most of the rooms.

I had to talk for my son because he worked nights and he never answers his phone. It took quite a long time, but everybody from Vanderbilt was friendly and easy to work with. It just seemed like it took forever, but that’s how home-buying is. I sold that house because I’m buying a new one. It took two to three months. It was really hard to get in touch with anybody. You get a voicemail, you leave a mail, and then they would call you back a day or so later. It’s almost like we were just playing phone tag quite a bit.

When you did call, “Your call is important to us.” But even if you did have an extension number, you couldn’t get in touch with anybody. It may be a day, sometimes two, possibly three, before they got back in touch with you. It was nerve-wracking to me. I don’t know if they were really busy. And then the girl that did call, I called her and asked her how things were going and everything. She said, “Oh, Danny. I forgotten.” She had me and an appraiser set up, but she had never done it. She said, “Oh, I should’ve done this last month,” or something. She got her dates mixed up. She put it down on the calendar wrong. So, it was a headache. I didn’t know where we stood because I called the her and said, “Is there anything else I need to do?” It was really the most difficult thing I have ever went through.

But when you did get ahold of them, everybody was really friendly, courteous and worked with me. If I was buying that property off of just some Joe Schmo, I would’ve given up and went elsewhere. That’s for a used place. My son wanted it. I bought the house to eventually let my son take over the payments or buy it. It was just a difficult process. The communication could’ve been better.

Vanderbilt’s application process was long, but simple. They got the number right to where it'd fit my budget and that was what caused some of the delays. Then, I had to file it in and that was the longer process. It was fine in terms of what they were asking me for because I had it. Plus, I work in the mortgage business, so I knew what to expect. I knew what was going on, the prices, the turn around time. It was awesome in terms of service and debt type of thing. In terms of things that were paid attention to, it has been normal if you’re trying to get a loan. I didn't have any additional documents, although I had to provide a couple of information for credit inquiries. The longest part was me having to figure out what I really wanted and what was gonna fit within my budget.

We went in to see if we could get approved because we fell in love with the home. And literally, we filled out the application that day, which was a Saturday. Vanderbilt got the application Monday morning when they came in by 4 o'clock. Monday night, I had the pre-approval. By the end of the week, we were working on getting them what they needed. And by the time they had it, we were fully approved the following week. So, the whole process was just a week for us. We went in on the 15th and we made settlement on the 21st.

Communicating with them was extremely easy. The only thing we were waiting for was the rest of the money to come in, which is why we did settlement the 21st because the money finally hit our account on the 18th. It was fast. My understanding is it's faster if you're going with a new one like we did than buying pre-existing. My younger sister and brother-in-law were having trouble with 21 Mortgage Corp. I recommended Vanderbilt and my sister went on the website and filled out an application.

Communication with them was very easy too. My girlfriend did most of the communication and she was going back-and-forth with Sarah. I talked to another person on Monday and I asked when they were gonna send the bill, 'cause I got a letter that said, “You need to pay $600.60 next month”. But overall I'm happy with their service.

The buying process at Vanderbilt was so easy. The application process was a little long, but it was pretty good. The only thing that aggravated me a little bit is that I have to keep making payments on a credit card account. They wanted me to have a zero balance so that we could do the closing. But every time I thought I had a zero balance, something else popped in and I had to keep paying until it was zero.

But the reps really went out of their way to help me out. They didn't have to pay some of my credit card balances in order to do the closing. And they certainly made things easy for me, especially when it came to the escrow. I don't have to handle any of the bills, like the homeowner's insurance and the property tax or something. That's what I love about it because I had an escrow up in Pennsylvania where I'm originally from, and all the bills came to me and then I had to submit the bills. It took a lot of time and energy. My consultant, Ryan, was great. Anything he had questions on, he brought them right up. He didn't hesitate on anything and got everything done faster than I expected.

However, they still gave me the runaround. Until one day, someone from the homes builder made a phone call and was like, "He has provided you three years of tax information. We are half into redoing some stuff with the insurance. It’s gonna change to escrow. It’s taking a little bit of time, but it should be fixed, within four to eight weeks. They could also improve on the communication between the insurance company, the home center, and all that. Trying to get everything worked out on my escrow has been difficult because it’s hard to get them to talk. And you’ve got three to four points--Assurant Home for Vanderbilt, and then, through the person who sold it, and they're all trying to communicate. It’s email here and there. It's time consuming.

Overall, it was a good experience. I felt good about the loan representative. We went step by step with everything. Vanderbilt ran my credit. I had good enough credit to get the loan without having to put my land up for collateral. It’s just having to wait. That’s the biggest issue, but that's normal. I had to go and re-sign everything again with the company that I went through on Vanderbilt’s behalf because there was a change to my loan. It was not bad nor an inconvenience and it was because the delivery date on my home got postponed, so they had to change some stuff.

I liked how Natasha from Vanderbilt called me. I'm a first-time home buyer, never bought anything big like this so I'm not familiar with terms and the process. She went over what the steps were and some of the things that were covered. Then, she emailed me immediately my documents for me to sign. I received it and she was great. On a loan, for something that big, I wanna be able to talk to one specific person about it. So, it was nice and it made it a lot easier.

Everything was clear during the lending process and Vanderbilt told me everything that I needed. I didn't know that I was responsible for installing power, but it was fine. The message was clear and I got it installed with the power company. I walked in off the street and I wasn't sure if I would qualify for anything. I've been through a lot of really tough stuff in my life and I'm just me by myself and I never thought I would be able to own my own home or property, and Vanderbilt made that possible. So, I really like the company. It’s a company I would definitely use.

We met Vanderbilt at a pretty close place to help, and when I had questions, they called right back. They were easy to talk to. The rep gave me the thing that you print out that lets you know if you make a payment and how much it shortens your loan by. He gave it to help us out if we wanted to pay it off sooner. He was really nice when he talked to us just about everything, making sure that we knew everything was covered when we left. They even let us know that we could go back and refinance to get a cheaper interest rate later. I called them at work and got in touch with them probably within 10 minutes. Vanderbilt was awesome and conducting business with them was easy. We started around December 28 and they finished April 22nd. But two months of that was complicated because the salesperson from the site was not accurately putting in the information. We asked for a permanent foundation from day one and that didn't get put in until the last moment. So they had to redo the paperwork at the end.

Nevertheless, Angela, the one who handled my land and tried to get my appraisal, was so awesome. She called in any mistake or she gave us updates. We were never left wondering what was going on. She always kept us in tune of what was happening with our land updates. They decided to do partial of my land appraisal and we thought that would be enough to appraise for the first house that we've chosen. And it ended up being it wasn't. But that was not what was said. So I just started doing the calls myself and that turned out much better.

But then, we'd get another letter saying they'll be handling another thing now. It was confusing. It was a long process to do, taking about four months, but we're thankful we're in our home.

We had flood damage and couldn’t live in our old house. We had to tear it down. We got a mobile home and applied for financing. It took 45 minutes to an hour to fill out the application. We sent it out to at least four different people and we were accepted with Vanderbilt sometime that first week. Within 30 days, we were closing. Vanderbilt made the process a lot smoother. My anxiety was high and this was a major purchase for my husband. But the process was quick. Even the guy that came out here when we were doing the walk-through and looking at things that needed to be fixed couldn’t believe that we were able to get into this as fast as we did. With this kind of mobile home, it would’ve taken them six months. We just started in February. When we had everything set up and everything done, we moved in on Memorial Day weekend.

With Vanderbilt, I did not have a problem with any communication. If they were unavailable when I first called, they called right back just as soon. They called us any time they had questions about something. They were always courteous and polite. My rep was awesome. She would answer really quickly. If she didn’t know, she would find out. The only thing was when we were getting ready to close, she was getting everything to the mobile company only at the last minute. But it happened and things got there.

Except for the communication, it's been an okay process with Vanderbilt. It took a little bit over a month to complete which I was satisfied with. But the reps could improve on answering phone calls and voicemails. We had talked to Elizabeth and Jessie. We tried calling and calling and calling and we could never get in touch with them. We leave voicemails and nobody ever called us back. When we have filed for homestead exemption and since the beginning of last week, I've been trying to send the paperwork and I cannot get in touch with nobody. I've emailed and I've called them. I've sent the paperwork to the email that Jessie had given me a while back and I haven't gotten any answer back from that.

A couple of days later, someone from customer service called and told me that I needed to send it to the tax email that she had given me. I emailed it and it gave me two responses saying that it couldn't be delivered. So I called the customer service number back and they gave me a fax number. I tried faxing it twice but there was no answer. I called them back and they told me to retry the process again. I've tried the process and got the same exact answer. So I just went the other route and mailed a hard copy to Vanderbilt tax department but I haven't heard anything from them. I'm just wondering if the homestead exemption is actually gonna be taking place. I've asked for a number to call the tax department but they can't give me a number.

Our first payment is due July 3rd but that's why I'm kinda scared that I'm gonna be pushed further back for the homestead exemption. Someone had called saying how much the payment is, when's it due, etc. but we haven't gotten a statement in the mail. I'm not sure when they'll send one, but I wanna make the payment. When I logged in online, it says that our payment's not due.

Vanderbilt Mortgage did all the things to help me close my loan. It wasn't difficult to communicate with them during the loan process because they took care of everything and they explained a lot of things. They treated me really well and I liked that they were very nice. I just had to wait to see how my loan application was gonna go and if it was gonna be accepted. So, we waited but that didn't take long. Everything was good about the process and I would recommend Vanderbilt Mortgage.

The application process with Vanderbilt Mortgage was easy and along with the underwriting, it took a month and a half. It was super fast. The communication was outstanding. At one point though, we were talking to three different people and we answered all the questions but it didn't seem like those three people were communicating with each other, only with us. But it was nothing major. The loan officer was completely nice, very thorough and easy to work with. Her whole demeanor and attitude were super. The times I talked to her, she was never negative. She was always upbeat and positive about everything. Overall, my experience with Vanderbilt was excellent. Anytime we called and asked, they had an answer back for us within a couple of hours.

The application process with Vanderbilt Mortgage was very quick and easy. It took about 30 days from start to when I closed. However, it was a little confusing from the time that it was approved to when it moved to the next department. I worked with one person and she approved everything, then she had sent everything to another department that would get me on my final numbers and get everything ready. I had to keep calling the girl in the first process and ask if somebody was gonna call me because it took a while for the approved application to show up in the computer.

It was easy to communicate with Vanderbilt during the whole loan process, though. The loan specialist, Ashley, was very good. I would call her or I would get a response within a day if I emailed her. And if she was out of the office, she would let me know that she was out of the office and wouldn't be able to get back to me until the next day. She was so easy to get a hold of and get to answer questions. I appreciate the whole process. I applied online, then they contacted me from there. I could do everything from my home and I didn't have to go to several different banks. They also let me know right away if I was approved.

I chose Vanderbilt Mortgage because the name was more out there than the other ones then. The application and underwriting process was easy. It took not too long because I had my salesperson helping me. The guy that did the notary stuff was there also and they helped walk me through the process. The rate and the terms were fair.

The mortgage process at Vanderbilt took an hour. A woman rep helped me and she was so personal. She had been very nice to me when she called. And with the way that I was treated, I couldn't have asked for anything better. I would recommend Vanderbilt Mortgage highly.

Our house got destroyed in the hurricane and it happened six weeks after we closed with Vanderbilt. We waited so long for debris removal and Vanderbilt was the least of our worries. They did such a wonderful job and they were on top of everything. They always kept in communication. They were done with us within a month and it was really fast.

Initially, we were looking at how much we could put down because right after the storm, we drained our bank account. Later, when I got some more money from the insurance company, they were happy to take the contingency off because we initially had a contingency to sell our home in Texas first and that would’ve taken forever. I called back and I said, “Hey, can you do the calculation? How much can I put down in order to get the loan approved in addition to...” Those were two mortgages for two different homes and they did the calculation within half an hour. They came right back and said, “Hey, if you can put this much down, we’ll be able to approve a loan for you so that you don’t have to wait for the contingency. You don’t have to wait to sell your house.” They explained the calculation and they did such a wonderful job.

I was most impressed by the communication. They were on it and if I couldn’t get through or I had a question and it happened to be off hours, I could leave a message and they would call me back as soon as business opened. It was nice to not have to wait for somebody to call me back when I had a question. The responsiveness was excellent. I'm happy to have the experience with Vanderbilt.

It was easy conducting business with Vanderbilt. They were really good. The loan process wasn't a pain in the butt, it was fairly quick and it was pretty clear. But the application and underwriting process took longer because I would have to drive to the place. Otherwise, it was done in a timely manner. Vanderbilt always kept on calling me to keep me up to date with everything and every time I had to do something. I never really had to give them a call. I would recommend Vanderbilt.

Vanderbilt Mortgage did a very excellent job. They knew all the answers to any question I had and I was very pleased with them. If it comes down to anybody else that I know of looking to go down that route to buy a mobile home or whatnot, I would absolutely recommend them to go through Vanderbilt. Our salesperson from the home manufacturer's also helped us tremendously and let us know what we needed. I gathered the documentation so as far as Vanderbilt Mortgage went, it was a smooth process. We had what we needed, which were submitted, then boom, there was no wait other than what Vanderbilt needed to do on their side. The process took about two days. A lady called and advised us of the approval and we briefly went over the terms.

Getting a hold of Vanderbilt wasn’t that hard. If I couldn't get a hold of the information, they would call me right back. All of them were very helpful. The application and underwriting process took almost a year though. We had a little bump on the road along the way, and it was on my part that it lasted that long. Still, Vanderbilt did a good job. The transparency of the lending process with them was very good. They told me what was going on and that they would really help along the way.

The application and underwriting process at Vanderbilt took around two months and their rep was really good. He helped us a lot and walked us through the whole process. He's still communicating through to us. Once I text him or call him or the others, I get an answer that same moment. Everything has been good thus far.

I’m beyond happy with my experience with Vanderbilt. I got a new house through working with them. We didn’t get approved everywhere else that we tried - Vanderbilt was the only one that approved us. The application process was very easy. A week after we filled out the application, we had our approval letter. And because of how easy it was, I’ve already sent a couple of people out there to try to get approved on a house.

It was also very easy to communicate with Vanderbilt's people. They either called or e-mailed, and they kept me up-to-date the whole way. I got an e-mail almost every day to let me know what part of the process we were in. They were very transparent. I heard from three different reps who assisted me. The very first person to call me went on vacation so I had another guy who then also went on vacation. I got a third person and then the original lady came back two weeks later. They all stayed on top of things the whole time. Every time I got a different person, the original person passed it to the second person and so on. They always send an e-mail with the telephone number and the extension in case I had any question.

The people at Vanderbilt explained everything, and we were told that if we had any issues, we were free to contact them. They had emails and phone numbers so they made it easy to get in touch with them. It just took a while for them to get back, but I knew they're busy as well. Sometimes we had to make emails and leave messages and wait a while, but it wasn’t too bad. They addressed our questions and concerns very well, and they made us feel comfortable. They were very nice and helped us take care of any issues we may have had.
