What is Tax Network USA?

Headquartered in California, Tax Network USA provides tax relief and tax preparation services to both individuals and small business owners. The company utilizes an in-house team of tax attorneys and IRS-licensed enrolled agents to assist clients with at least $10,000 in tax debt. It also offers payment plans to cover fees for services.

How does Tax Network USA work?

You can get started by scheduling a free consultation with one of Tax Network USA’s tax experts. You will need to complete an online questionnaire prior to the consultation, which asks questions like:

  • How much tax debt do you have?
  • Do you have any un-filed tax returns?
  • What is your filing status? (single, head of household, married filing separately, married filing jointly)
  • Have you been placed under an IRS audit?
  • What is your current household income?

During the consultation, the tax expert will assess your case and determine the appropriate next steps. The company will ensure compliance with IRS regulations while also helping you resolve your tax issues.

Tax Network USA services

Tax Network USA’s tax relief and resolution services include:

  • Offer in compromise: The company negotiates with the IRS to settle tax debt for less than what you owe. This can include financial analysis and completion of required tax forms, in addition to representation at hearings.
  • Installment agreement: Tax Network USA sets up a payment plan with the IRS to pay off tax debt over time. It also assists with completing and submitting the Installment Agreement and Statement of Circumstances.
  • Penalty abatement: The company prepares the legal petition to remove or reduce financial penalties from the IRS. It can assist with Failure to File and Failure to Pay IRS penalties, as well as first-time and reasonable cause penalty abatement.
  • Bank levy: Tax Network USA assists in preventing, removing or releasing bank levies (seizing of funds in bank accounts by IRS to satisfy tax debt).
  • Wages garnishment: The company helps to prevent or stop wage garnishment (withholding a portion of an employee's wages to pay off tax debt).
  • Audit representation: Tax Network USA represents clients during the IRS audit process (an in-depth examination of an individual or business’ financial records to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with tax laws). The company can also file petitions or appeals concerning penalties or fines on the client’s behalf.

In addition to tax relief services, the company offers tax preparation and planning services, as well as other business services like entity formation (filing the appropriate legal documents to create a Limited Liability Corporation, Partnership or Corporation) and bookkeeping (managing financial records).

Tax Network USA pricing

The pricing structure is not published on Tax Network USA’s website. However, tax relief companies typically charge either a flat fee, an hourly rate or a percentage of the taxes owed. In addition, there may be an upfront fee called a retainer.

You can schedule a free consultation call with Tax Network USA to discuss your situation and the fees involved.

Keep in mind that fees can vary based on the complexity of your situation and the services you may need. For example, a penalty abatement may cost less than an offer in compromise.

My wife, who was a forensic accountant and handled all of our taxes, was a genius. The problem was she developed Alzheimer's disease and no one noticed it for the first year or two. She didn't file tax returns and she also didn't pay a lot of bills. It was a giant mess. Unfortunately, I called Tax Network USA's competitor first, but they were useless. In contrast, Tax Network is a good organization, and I'm particularly happy with the two people I spoke with. I'm working with a guy named Joe on doing the taxes. Previous to that, it was Neil.

It's much quicker with Tax Network USA, and they're much farther along. I'm into it for 1,000, but I'm farther ahead of where their competitors were at 1,500. It seems Joe and Neil must be working in the same building. The previous group had to have a new set of documents and a new agreement done. You have to do all of the cell phone signing of your name and initials and all the forms. You can't read anything. On the other hand, Tax Network USA is doing very well. They mail forms and allow forms to be mailed to them, which is the only way to do it if you're not set up with a computer and a fax machine. Right now, I'm happy with Tax Network USA. I recommend them highly.

I called Tax Network because I was behind on my taxes, and they sent me an email letting me know everything that they needed. So, I uploaded everything on the website and did what they requested, and I should be hearing back from them once I have everything prepared. The customer service has been good, so far.

The first time I reached out to Tax Network, I had a heart surgery and had recovered from it but was facing a second one. I was not expecting to get information thrown at me right away, because I was going for the surgery and needed to recover from it. I told the person assigned to me that I was going to be out of pocket for at least two weeks before I could get back to him, since I was facing a major heart surgery. But I got calls every single day that I just turned off my phone. I wasn't feeling well enough to even answer the phone.

I had a poor situation with Tax Network the first time, but a much better situation the second time. The first gentleman I spoke to was marvelous to deal with and extremely nice to talk to. He was very competent and thorough when he went through everything. He was an older gentleman like me and seemed very capable. I liked my interaction with the young lady. So, the two of them combined have been wonderful to deal with. I just have to get my stuff together to be able to send it to her. She was a very nice young lady and made sure that I got in touch with her directly regarding everything. I’m glad I didn't have to work with the first guy who was assigned to me. I'm a very nice lady, but I would have figured out a way of giving him a piece of my mind.

For a senior, doing business with Tax Network is very expensive. The individual has to do all of the work and all they do is get the information from the tax service. They rely on the person to give them the rest of the information, which is what's taking me so long, because I wanna make sure that I do it correctly. I’m still going through the process and collecting all my information. Once I get it, they'll get all the information from me.

I saw an ad for Tax Network and I was curious. I called and talked to one of their representatives, and I was very pleased and impressed. They were very polite and curious. So, I continued with their services. Fred, the first guy I talked to, was informative and eager. I would highly recommend Tax Network. They work with you on the pricing, which is great. You don't have to pay it all at once.

I haven’t filed my taxes in quite a few years and needed help from Tax Network USA. I was trying to get my life back together and I saw their advertisements all over the place, and I gave them a call. I'm a little over-trusting and limited on funds, so I committed to getting involved with them, probably before I should have. I should have been a little bit more hesitant, but I'm in a hurry to try to get this stuff taken care of. Many companies and advertisements just want to sell you something and make money off of you. But Tax Network was good and they said they would get things rolling. The reps were very polite, friendly and understanding. But not as forthcoming as I'd like them to be. They wanted to charge me $4,700 to get the five years of taxes filed, but they didn't clearly state that that was just for filing the taxes.

When I met with my case manager about a month later, I found out that if I have a tax debt, then there's going to be more money involved to resolve the tax debt. But they didn't give me a percentage as far as how much money, so I was concerned about that. Tax Network decided to break it down to three payments, but it was still too much because I was going to be broke. I'm unemployed right now, but I hope to be employed within the next month and a half.

I almost thought it was a bait and switch program at first, because of not knowing that I'd have to pay more money if I had a tax debt, and not even know what type of percentage. But I called Tax Network this morning, and they agreed to break that down into even smaller payments over the next few months. So, they're working with me. I now need to provide my Schedule C information to proceed.

We have given them $63,000 and our case has been with them for over two years, they have done zero for this money, all the promises to reduce your debt to the IRS are complete baloney. They never do anything, they never contact us, and when we do contact them, they never call you back, or they book appointments with you and then don't turn up for them, they have made our situation far worse than it was to start with as we now owe a further two years in interest. They do not give you one point of contact, so each time you call, you speak to a different person, who tells you they are near to a resolution. This is totally untrue. I wish I had given the IRS the $63,000 I gave them and just tried to sort a resolution out with the IRS myself.

Today we were meant to speak to DeShon, our sixth representative, for the third attempted effort to call us. She has arranged to call us three times and has only managed to call us once; unfortunately, that call was booked for 10.30 am and she left a message at 6 pm saying she was running behind. No apology for being 8 hours late!

Since then, we arranged twice more to speak to her, and both times she just didn't call. She never even bothered to email an excuse or to postpone or rearrange. This is how it is, you can NEVER speak to anyone. The main number is AI, and it says, "Leave a message and someone will call you back" if they feel it's needed. Nobody ever calls you. Please don't trust them, they will just take your money and do nothing. We are going to have to call the IRS ourselves and see what we can arrange. There is no chance of getting any of our money back from TNUSA. I am writing this to warn others not to even consider dealing with these criminals

I saw Tax Network’s advertisements on several different things, and I called them. It was good that they helped us. We did everything over the phone, but we’re still doing the process online and they’ve done a fine job so far. Matt, the rep, did what we asked him to do.

So far, my experience with Tax Network has been pretty bad. Somebody named Adam hit me up and said I needed to go into the portal and do something. I was like, "I can't get into it." So, I called him on Friday to see if I could get an email sent to me, so I could get into this portal. But nobody ever called me back.

Yesterday, the lady called me about my payment because they tried to run the wrong card. I told her I needed to get into the portal, 'cause she said she was going to get a hold of customer service. Customer service called me back and told me that I have to set up an appointment just to get an email to get into this portal. I said, "I don't really want to set up an appointment just to get an email sent to me." I've not heard anything back.

But I did the enrollment process over the phone, and it was perfect. The guy I worked with did a great job. He was very articulate about what I was going to be charged, why I was being charged for it. That was a great experience.

There was an ad on Rumble about Tax Network USA which led me to using them, but my experience has not been so good so far. I feel like I don’t really know what's going on. Their website is telling me where we're at in the process and I submitted documents, but I don't know what the next step is. It should be laid out already so the customer would know what to expect and what the plan is moving forward.
