I went online to compare interest rates for a non-owner-occupied rental property loan. Initially it was nbkc's low rates which caught my eye. Upon inquiry I was immediately in touch with a loan officer who stayed with us through the whole journey. And it was a long one! Pretty much everything about our loan was complicated. We were doing a 1031 exchange from one rental property into another so had proceeds from that, and the loan was the balance to get us up to the asking price of the new property. This was a new build which creates many more moving parts to pull off. Then add to this the fact both my husband and I are self employed so verifying our incomes is challenging, and we had to push the close date back about 4 times.

My boyfriend recommended me to use NBKC Bank as my mortgage provider and I could not be happier that I listened to his advice. Quick, efficient and my loan officer David is always available there to answer my questions! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

Once again NBKC has come through for me and my family. My loan officer C.J. **, is a professional in every sense of the word. He made my V.A. refi both seamless and painless, every step of the way and for that I am truly grateful. I plan on being a lifelong customer. Thanks again nbkc!

This is the third time Ryan has worked with me to finance or refinance my rentals and or my personal residence. Each time Ryan's knowledge helped me overcome any financial hurdles during the contract negotiations. He kept me on track to provide him any necessary documents to complete the transaction. We've been working with Dan over the last few months; we first touched base two years ago when we first planned on buying our first home. The Covid context made us pause our projects, but we had a great customer relationship, so I called him back when we were ready again. Dan has been thorough, available, educational, and flexible on all our requests. He was able to break down numbers whenever I needed and provided guidance on rates; we managed to lock ours just before the inflation! And so happy all the process went smoothly. I just completed my second refinancing with NBKC Bank, with David ** as the loan officer, and I have nothing but the highest praise for David and entire process. I had been involved with a refinancing using another bank and it had been dragging on for over two months with no end in sight. I reached out to David and we had the complete process done in roughly 3 weeks. They responded in a very timely manner with information exchanges and documents required. Everything went very smoothly. I would highly recommend David and NBKC.

I've done both refinance and house purchase transactions with NBKC and the experience was consistently positive. Stress-free experience and excellent service are the only words I can describe this company. From the gathering of documents to closing, of course, there were some setbacks but I felt confident because Maggie was just an email away which she always responds to promptly and upon closing which coincided with the weekend, I texted her about an important issue, she texted back asap, I give this Company a well deserved perfect 10!

nbkc bank has great service capabilities. My experience with them has been fantastic. The reps professionally took care of everything. Was put under a tough situation and pulled through. The process is long. But it's their process and it's regulated, so I get it.

It was a great experience with NBKC. I could not recommend them enough to other people. I worked with Kati and she was amazing. We wouldn’t consider switching to another lender because of her. It was a very competitive rate and I didn't feel I had to negotiate with her. She was constantly bringing me the best that was available. One of the best things about her was that she was available at any step of the process. There was coordination that needed to take place and I could call her anytime. Whether we were bidding or negotiating, she was there to kind of lend the support and expertise to the whole process.

I’m very pleased with the team, especially with Lori. Whenever I have a question, I can email or call her. So, it's very good.

The rate was good and the process was quick but I had a bad experience with them in terms of closing the loan. The officer closed the loan without confirming my previous mortgage has been paid off. The title insurance they hired didn't follow up on all this. For about 15 days, I had to go through multiple calls and emails to get to these things settled.

I refinanced my mortgage and it was all good with nbkc bank. The process was fast and well done.
