Mepco is a servicer of payment plans related to vehicle service contracts. However, Mepco has no involvement in the development, marketing, sale, claims processing activities, or other administration of these vehicle service contracts, and Mepco does not engage in any form of telemarketing. Mepco's sole role is that of the servicer of the payment plan related to the vehicle service contract, sending bills and collecting payments, and is not the seller or administrator of the vehicle service contract. Customers would need to contact their sales agent, dealership or service contract administrator's offices directly for any information regarding discrepancies with product representation, service reimbursement, cancellations, reinstatement's, refunds, or any other vehicle service contract related issues.

Mepco collects payments for a home warranty company that is a total scammer company. This scam company "Home warranty services" their name this week, sends out billing for accounts not authorized by the buyer! I just received a $486.12 invoice for a product I never wanted or authorized at all! Mepco needs to vet the companies they represent as this company mentioned is a scam artist setup start to finish. Just look the negative review of this Home warranty services company. When they invoice to bank account they change their name to "Home Pros". What a joke!

It's been a month or more and still can't get a hold of this company. The other day I was on the phone waiting to talk to someone, called back 4 times, that's 4 hours at least. The last time it just said goodbye, instead of just hanging up. I have been waiting a month to receive my reimbursement of my towing charge of $467.00. since my car is stuck in Bemidji, MN. I had to buy a different car so I could make it to work. I am not pleased at all with service they give.

This company is a total scam. I am not sure why the DOJ has not investigated them. I tried to cancel on behalf of my mother. He said I need power of attorney which I have, and I told him. He refused to give me the address of where to send the copy of the power of attorney. I discovered my mom had been getting food from the food bank because of all the money they stole from her. She herself has tried to cancel so many times and they never cancel. There is a special place in hell for these scammers.
I tried to get to another person than the guy who cuts you off when talking and doesn't listening, saying things like have fun trying to get the power of attorney copy to us. You'll need some serious luck with that and laughed. They know they are scamming the elderly and they readily admit it. He said my mom called him to get the warranty because it was illegal for them to make calls. Yet review after review says they called the buyer. When I tried to get someone different and asked for a physical address and name of the CEO, they refused to give the name and gave me an address of an empty lot in Irvine CA. These guys deserve negative stars. Total Liars. Preying on old people.

These scam artists contacted my son to sign up for their warranty service. Thank goodness my son mentioned to me that he had signed up. I marched him straight to the bank to cancel his bank card that very day.

Purchased aftermarket warranty from this company 06/20/2023, made payments through MEPCO and the administrative office is Direct Protection Warranty. These people are a SCAM!!!! After paying the warranty in full 06/2025 and an expiration date of 07/30/2027. My car's transmission went out and I was told my claim denied DUE to mileage discrepancy of 1260. At the time of purchase, I insisted I go out to my car and retrieve correct mileage. The sells REP insisted that i stay on the phone and complete the sell. To just provide a rough estimate of my mileage. Although, I thought that to be strange, I provided what I last remembered of the mileage. So, 07/2025 the transmission went out and dealer stated $5600 for replacement. Claim DENIED DUE to mileage discrepancy, since policy purchased total was $4042.
I went back and forth for a few weeks, stating I did not fraudulently provide a lower mileage. Explained the initial scenario of the purchase of warranty, but that still did not push the claim through. Got sent to Direct Protection Warranty and back to MEPCO. So back and forth between the 3 fake companies with no results. Except I paid for a FAKE auto warranty, and I am now out of $10,000. The $4042 combined with the $5600 for the total cost of replacing my transmission. How can you rate a FAKE company!!!!

This company called telling me. I had to get the insurance! I told them no, I'm looking elsewhere. The guy on the phone said I had to get it thay day or for 90$ or if I waited longer they would charge me 200$ if I decide to get it! I said I do not want it anyway and about a few days go by and they charged me 150$ from my bank account without asking and I did not agree to anything! My bank looked up the charge and told me it was this company! They definitely are Fraud!

I have never encountered customer service people as rude as those on your company's phone lines. Rule Number 1: When you are listening customers' explanations of their situation, you listen, you do not cut them off or have a background conversation. First, I waited and paid two months before I received your welcome packet. Second, anything that I needed done in my home, I was verbally told was not covered. On one item I was told that I could buy a part at Home Depot for around $10 and fix it myself. Really?!
After giving this some thought I decided to cancel this very expensive policy, that was of no help to a handicapped 77yr old woman. The customer service person told me that I should upgrade to a more expensive policy which might suit my needs. Again... Really?! Great way to deal with a disgruntled customer. And then this person told me I was wasting her time and hung up on me. I called back and told another person I wanted to cancel, that the policy did not fulfill my needs. She got my information and later emailed me that my policy was cancelled. Now I am getting bills for subsequent months. These will not be paid. Sorry to have wasted your time. I will not be paying for August and September.

They make it sound like everything will be covered. I know insurance can be tricky when it comes to what is covered, but these guys don't tell you how the policy works when they sell it. When I called to cancel, the guy said if it is a car with a lot of miles (more than 150,000) fewer things will be covered. I did not get that explanation when I was sold the policy. Troy, the service rep did not deny that and defended not talking about the negatives of the policy saying, "When you sell something, do you talk about the positives or the negatives." Implying, to me, that it was good business to be deceitful. Scammers, in my opinion.

This company contacted my 78 year old mother who is declining mentally and talked her into a contract. She didn't understand what she was agreeing to and now she's paying for something she can't afford. I noticed the charge on her bank account and we called Mepco. They make it difficult to cancel and now she has to go get notarized paperwork, we have to write a letter stating we want the contract cancelled and it has to be snail mailed to them. If they can get a contract over the phone, we should be able to cancel this over the phone. Horrible company to take advantage of the elderly.

I was promised to get a car warranty better than Carshield and it ended up a total lie. Now I am out 9600 and no car. Don't use them. They lie. Their customer service rep yelled at me and lied to me over the phone. Bad service provider.

I bought Mepco for my home and I was told that appliances, hot water heaters, AC units were covered. My AC had recently went out. I filed a claim and it got denied because they said that it was from a power surge which it was not. The compressor went out and then the guy that I talk to said I’ve would only receive 600 bucks because of the age of the unit. I was tricked into buying this warranty and now I try to call the number to get some help from them and the calls won’t go through and the emails get sent back to me.

My car needs service for front end calipers which is covered in the contract, but endurance came up with some nonsense as to why I was denied, Payments been on time since 2023 up until now I needed new calipers.

This company is a complete scam. Not clear on all the details of the contract. They lead me to believe I pay $100, never telling me after they it would be $261.28 a month. Which I know for a fact as I’m financially struggling and moving out my place this week. They have tried to charge me twice a day 6 days in a row. They are associated with Auto U.S.A. and Warranty services. I’ve never seen a company charge me back to back to back. When it has declined each time. Mepco also doesn’t know the process of getting the recorded call for us and them. I’m having my lawyer reach out to obtain immediately. I’m so over scam situations. It’s really sad honestly. Whoever works there with any moral views or integrity. You should leave this job. Bc look at all these views. I don’t know how y'all are still in business. But the dark always comes to light eventually. DO NOT contract with MEPCO and other companies I named as well.

My mother is a 83 year old woman who has short term memory loss and has not been driving since november of 2024. I took over her banking needs in April and noticed a charge from Mepco. Didn't know what that was so I did some research and found out it's Endurance. I called them and said she is not driving anymore and did not need this insurance. They told me it would be canceled but I checked again last week and they charged her again. This company is a scam and won't do what they say they will do. Stay clear of them. They will take your money and not cancel when you ask.

LIARS and THIEVES: Bait and switch tactics, unclear about amounts, coverage, payment terms. Called to cancel multiple times, sent bills received back with "Cancelled" and dates of cancellation (by both phone and mail). When calling in, person answering is Otis ** who said they could see it was cancelled, but it was done incorrectly and now it's past the timeframe to cancel so a balance is due before they will cancel. I am an elderly person with fixed income (SS) and to pay the unbelievable amount they have on the paperwork they sent is impossible. Talking to customer service is useless. They are overbearing, threatening, demoralizing, and just plain nasty to deal with.

Scammers and grifters. They called my mother with dementia, told her they were with her bank and that her house warranty was expiring so she signed up because it was "through the bank" and they told her she would get reimbursed for the microwave she just bought. She told me about this as we were on the way to the hospital with my (dying) father. I called them to ask about all of this and of course found out they were being untruthful, so I wanted to cancel (all while sitting in the ER with my father). The man who I dealt with argued non-stop saying he was "required to read me a script" but his "script" was "we can both agree that your appliances won't last forever, right?" and when I didn't answer his questions he began mocking my mom's situation, bounced me over to a supervisor who tried to do the same.
I said, "I will listen until you're done but we are cancelling." So she stopped trying to ask questions and said she cancelled. Then 3 weeks later they sent her a bill with a $20 fee for "insufficient funds" totaling $289.97. TOTAL SCAM. They are preying on the elderly and non-informed. 290 a month for 36 months is nearly $10,500! After receiving the bill, I tried to log into the website and of course that was an error.

Took money from my dad for two years on a totaled vehicle. Dad was seriously hurt in hospital. Scammers said for me to send in all documents to prove and now they fight with me on the phone with their 5 employees. Beware. Don't use them and make sure your elders are clear from them.

Avoid this company. After paying on one vehicle for several years and then renewing the coverage we had our first claim and it was denied as a preexisting problem. How can you have a preexisting problem when you have paid for over 4 years on a vehicle? Don’t waste your money with this company.

I put in for a refund 3 weeks ago and still nothing! They are very slow in responding to inquiries! Do not trust this company. They work with Headstart auto warranty and both are very sketchy! Do your research first people.

Received a call about Mepco and never knew the name of the company. Only was told that it was by my dealership so I thought nothing of it.. Should have known it was too good to be true. Especially when they had all the details of my car. Only had it for not even a month. Well they put a negative in my bank account of $30 which sucks but for someone that isn’t working anymore due to surgery a couple weeks ago. Cool keep the $30 I will sadly have to ask a family member to clear the negative in my account and borrow it. I received a text on February 17th for a picture of my mileage and since it allowed me to respond I asked it to be canceled and heard nothing back. That’s when today February 24th I had $30 drawn out of my account. I sent an email due to them being closed by the time I saw the withdrawal. So I will be calling in the morning.
If another payment comes out I will be involving my family’s bank that has control and my family who is also in Law Enforcement because this is all a scam. Along as well my lawyer. I am a very nice person and do not like to get other people involved but I see multiple people saying they ask it to be canceled the first time and more money still comes out the following month. But if you guys really want to keep customers why not keep your word and still make money?? I would love to be a top rated Warranty company people sign up for and fix/help my customers. Not be known as a scammer and deal with possible lawsuits. How have y'all not received a lawsuit? Thank you. Again please cancel.

Mepco Endurance is a scam. Stay far away from them if you can. They are very famous for bait and switch. I decided to enroll with them on January 25 2024 because a colleague recommended them to me. Of course I didn’t do my due diligence and come to these sites to see these and investigate these bad reviews. In hindsight I should have I spoke to a customer service from Mepco endurance who told me that I will be covered from bumper to bumper everything and since my car was old I will have to pay more.
After I paid $1228.68 from january to August I decided to cancel and they made me pay an extra $136.52 for September. I explained to them everywhere I go to fix my car I was getting rejected because their warranty is shady and won’t cover the cost. The mepco endurance tech was denying it to the point I had to cancel and I could not even use the service. They took all my money and gave me back guess what a refund only $480.82 base on my mileage and before they give your money you have to go through hoops. You even have to go in front a notary to notarized your mileage. It’s unbelievable. Please please please do not waste your hard earned money with these con artist company called Mepco endurance tech. They sell you snake oil.

This company is a complete scam. They will not fix anything. It's nearly impossible to cancel the contract and payments. Stay far away from them. I honestly don't know how they are in business. Every time you call to cancel a guy gets on the line and either hangs up on you or says they are out to lunch call back. It's the same thing every time.

This company told my wife to buy an insurance from them because her new Toyota Camry may have issues in the future, if there’s a re-call, the dealer would take care of it not your scammer company, also you people took from her bank account $100 the first month and $285 the second month, it is ridiculous what you people are doing, only bad reviews here and when she call them, they say that they can’t help her.

This company sent a representative to my elderly father's home and convinced him to purchase the CoverageX and MEPCO warranty for his vehicle. After paying $200 a month, that he barely had due to a fixed income, he was convinced that this would work for him. A few months later, he took his care in for service. CoverageX kept asking about the mileage which the Car dealership sent numerous times.
After so many days, they informed my father that his last service showed $64000 miles, but his contract showed $63000 when he signed the contract. This was totally a scam to take advantage of an elderly. If the agent came on site to sell the insurance and get information for the contract, he should have verified the mileage since he was there onsite. He could have asked my father to go the car and verify the mileage which he didn't. The company knew exactly what they were doing. They were going to have him paying $200 a month for CoverageX and Mepco for a long period of time just to tell him that the mileage was incorrect, and they couldn't cover it. I highly recommend avoiding this company.

Why would a company whose whole job is to collect payments make it nearly impossible to make a payment? God save you if you get your username or password wrong! They claim they sent you the umpteenth verification code via email, but no code ever arrives. For every little action you try, they want you to login AGAIN! Or, they want to send you another verification code that will never arrive, or they ask for your 14 digit account number. In short, they absolutely suck!

I recently bought a house. I got a ton of postcards and letters in the mail prompting me to get warranty protection or, basically, life insurance. I decided to go with a legitimate company, Kansas City Life Insurance. I've also got home insurance that is bundled into my mortgage payment each month. I got a charge from this company on Oct. 9, and I am disputing it as fraud with the help of my bank because I know my companies do their own business with their own charges. The bank said that charge from MEPCO was for home insurance. Ha, wrong-o! The reason I'm writing a review, though, is because this company has NEVER contacted me, I have never contacted them, and therefore, I have never given them my card information. How did they get it? Probably bought it off another scam company. It all seems incredibly fishy.

I am a member of Mepco and I have never used them before. When I tried to use them my claim was denied. So I don't know why I am paying them. I will not be paying them anymore. The contract book lied also and they are not standing up to the contract. They are using the contract to get money. I feel that they need to be shut down and refund the money.

This company scammed my 84 year old mother and enrolled her in a payment plan. She had a new car with and extended 5 year warranty. She kept getting bills from them and refused to cancel the service when she asked multiple times. This company preys on the elderly.

Absolutely a company that should be shut down. This is a scam. The customer service was horrendous and I spent 4 days trying to talk to an actual person to cancel my “coverage”. When I finally got ahold of an actual person, after telling them I want to cancel and not discuss any further, she was extremely rude and said “good luck with your vehicle break downs” and hung up the phone. This place needs to be shut down.
