I have been paying on a car loan for over 4 years. I have made 45 payments and have 9 left. I got behind several months ago, but still paid something each month. I am just about caught up but they are harassing me, calling every week, telling me to go get the money. They don't care how or they will take my car. I am a 64-year old widow. I have lost my home and now this. I need my car and can't sleep at night because they are threatening me. I have sold just about everything I own to make the payments. I want the calls to stop. I have every intention of continuing payments until the car is mine.

I bought a new car and financed it through someone else, but Chase bought the loan. I paid it on time and as agreed for almost the length of the loan, which was six years. One day a hail storm came through and totaled my car. My insurance company, State Farm, totaled it, even though they fixed other cars that were worse than mine. So, I got the windshield replaced and drove the car as there was only body damage done to the car. State Farm paid what they thought the car was worth, but that left some balance owing to Chase. I had insurance for that too but they refused to pay off the balance, because I had deferred one payment one time when I was moving. I explained to Chase that I wasn't in an accident and it was an act of nature that damaged my car. It was no fault of my own. Chase refused to listen and called my full balance, $3000. I did not have the money to pay them, so I continued to make my monthly payments and charged off the account to ruin my credit.

I tried and tried to get through to a supervisor but was given the runaround. Every time I called and asked to speak to a manager, they took my name and number and said someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I left message after message, but got nowhere. Sometimes, I would be left on hold for over thirty minutes, then the call dropped off. Sometimes I would be given to department after department. But I was always told they couldn't help me and would switch me to another department. I got nowhere so I finally just gave up. I cut up all my credit cards and now only pay with cash. I solved that problem. I won't ever do business with Chase again.

I want to let the world know about this company and how they deal with their customers. Prior to taking an auto loan out with these sharks, I had used a credit union. First of all, the interest rate with these people is not good at all. You will be looking at 18-25% interest as they will collect upfront on the loan payments, so this means if you do not pay additional principal, then most of your car payment is going straight in their pockets.

Secondly, if your payment is not received literally by the 1st day of your payment, they will call and harass you all day long. Thirdly, I have sent the payment in numerous times and they have actually waited to post it on my report after the 30 day mark, so this means they take up to 2 weeks to get the payment in the mail and post it. Remember this; send the payments certified! You will need this in case they do false reporting to your credit report.

Finally, they have rude and terrible customer service! Do not and I repeat, do not take an auto loan out with these people. You will be signing up for years of terrible service, fees, and more problems. I had to come on here and report these people. I have many other creditors that do not handle business this way. So please take heed!

On 8/1/2011, we sold our son's corvette, which still had a balance at Chase Bank. We went to pay off the balance and we were told that they did not have the title. We couldn't believe that after 4 years, they never requested the title from the dealer They couldn't give us a straight answer, but they said that sometimes that happens. That's pretty dumb, I thought. We sold the car to a military individual who will be deployed soon. When we left the bank on 8/1, we were upset and now, how were we going to give the young man his car. He paid us for it. It is his, but not really because we, he doesn't have the title. We went straight to the DMV and they told us that Arizona had the title. We went back to the bank and they said that they would have to request it and it would take about 2 weeks. On 8/25/2011, I called Chase and was told that they couldn't do anything about it anymore, because we had the lien release.

They did mail us the lien release, but I thought they were still working on it! My husband started looking online to see if we could request it . He felt that we better not waste any more time since this young man will be deployed to Korea in October. We decided to take time off work, go the Arizona DMV and make the request in person. The man at the counter told us right away that this needed a lien release or letter from GM. Oh my gosh! What more? We explained everything and showed him our paid off statement, the lien release from chase and he said that it didn't matter. He also said GM had sold out and that they were now allied.

My son, who is in Arlington, Texas, called GM and they told him that they were no longer GM and they had no record of anything. We decided to drive to the dealership -- Midway Chevrolet in Phoenix, AZ. We asked to see the finance manager and he told us the same -- that we had to go to DMV and we went through the whole story again. He said that they were not responsible, but finally gave in and told us he would give his title clerk the information and that she would be calling in 2 days. She called on 9/1/2011 and told us she had no record of it yet, but that someone had dropped the ball. She told my husband she would be calling us on Sept. 9th. I still don't understand why we have to be doing all the leg work when it should have been Chase's.

I don't even think this company deserves any rating! They are horrible and very rude!

My husband and I got behind on payments due to moving (we are military) and they knew we would be late. They informed me that the day after the due date, when the account becomes past due. My payment per month is 386.71 and I got just shy of three months behind and they said we owe 1600 bucks.

How? I had made several partial payments to show we were trying and they knew once we got TMO money from moving, that we were going to pay them all of it. Well TMO shorted us 800 dollars. I called Chase to get my account information to send a money gram payment and John from Chase started ripping into me and I just set the phone down while he was yelling and doing his thing as I wrote down my account information.

Now granted I shouldn't have fallen so far behind but I'm a mom and my kids come first! Now after being harassed for about two weeks non stop, we have pawned all valuables and are going to do a money gram to Chase before the hurricane hits.

I financed a vehicle through Chase auto finance. I have 18 payments left. I'm currently on unemployment and struggling financially. They are not good at customer service and constantly use scare tactics to get the payment. They don't work with you at all.

You'd think with the way the economy is, they would work with people rather than treat them like they're a loser. They actually ask you to borrow money or take out a payday loan, which is the humblest thing you can do financially. I have two kids, one car and am going back to school. I took enough loans to catch up back bills including this one but they don't care. They'll probably repo unless the good Lord intervenes.

I have been penalized with late fees because they expect me to pay online and I am not able to do so. When I call Chase, I get the run around from one department to another. Nobody seems to be able to "fix" my online access, yet they have no problem adding late fees or charging to make payments over the phone.

Chase Auto was informed that my 2009 Ford Escape was traded in a couple of weeks ago. I was receiving calls about my payment being late. My June payment was late and after talking to Chase, they gave me no help and wouldn't accept me paying half and then catching up paying another half. They would not work with me at all and I've had a good payment history. I traded in my Escape a couple of weeks ago and Chase was told.

I spoke to them again today because they hit my credit report as being 60 days delinquent. They claim they haven't received the payoff from the dealership yet. The dealership (which is the one I believe) states the loan has been paid in full and Chase says they haven't seen a check.

I had a buyer willing to pay 95% of the debt owed on it, and I was at the time willing to cover the rest. Having lost my job this was the only option I had. Since then Chase has never sent me a bill, or letter (I have had one collection call from an outside agency to whom I explained the situation and he never called back again) -- till last week when they went in my checking account and took out $3,000. My checking account, with chase had an updated address for the past two years, when I called them back they calmed to have sent the letters to our old address from 2007. They refused to let me speak with a manager about this. I wanted to know how at the end of a 60 month loan the last payment being 384.85 why do I have to pay 1064.72 as the payoff. I don't owe any late fees and they wanted me to negotiate. How about this Chase, I found a lawyer to assist me in dealing with you.

Chase and Chase Auto Finance are in the news again for their continued abuse of its auto finance customers in the collection process. Continued actions that clearly skirt the intentions congress placed in creation of the FDCPA (Fair Debt Collection Protection Act) that include such things as contacting parties who were not part of the initial finance contract, calling friends, family and neighbors in an effort to use them as a messaging service and providing details about the status of the collection account.

I have a clean credit history for last 2 years paid on time and have paid loan off on February 2011. Chase reported to it credit bureaus 4/7/11 as repossession. I was threatened with repossession in 2009 when the car was in the shop. The car was never taken, credit report has never shown repossession. So, after 2 years of on time payments, no late pays and now it's paid off, it is being reported as paid after repossession. MDS was taken back by credit grantor.

My credit score, of course, has been damaged. The emotional drama of fighting with these people is overwhelming. I wanted to purchase a new car but a repossession on my report as recent as March 2011 doesn't help!

My husband and I purchased a 2007 Ford F-150 in July 2010. We made the August payment on time with no problem. On September 3, 2010, my husband had a stroke. He was off work for over a month. I called Chase and notified them of the stroke on September 6--three weeks before our payment was due. I asked them if we could defer just one month to stay on track, but they refused.

We have been able to stay under the 30-day threshold but just barely. All we needed was a 30-day extension. It is not like we are asking for a write-off on the balance due. It is going to be very difficult to get anything caught up because now they are assessing us with late fees. I agree with everyone else. They call five or six times a day from the earliest possible moment to the absolute latest nano second allowed by law.

These are the worst people I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I am worried that with the continued pressure that Chase is putting on my husband by calling him repeatedly, they are going to cause him to have either another heart attack or stroke. If that happens, believe me, I will go to my dying breath making Chase pay for this. They will never, ever walk away from this one. That little payment is going to be very inconsequential to them if they stress my husband to the point that it kills him.

Chase is by far the worst service possibly out there. Chase has come to us twice trying to repos our Mercedes Benz. We had already paid the bill on time and yet they came for our car. The first time was at 10:30 at night, saying that there was an email to repo our car, no paperwork but an email. We tried to talk our way out of it since we had paid our bills on time but the repo man wouldn't leave. We gave in and let our car be towed away.

Called chase in the morning only to find there is nothing wrong with our bills and that they had been paid on time. It is their error and so they sent a fax to the local branch in my area so we can get our car back. Went to our local police station, paid $10, drove 40 minutes to towing company and got our car back. This happened early 2010. Yesterday night at 12 30, deja vu.

Repo comes, says he got an email from Chase, even though we paid the bills on time, takes our car, called Chase in the morning, nothing is wrong, waiting for a fax, and now we have to drive another 40 minutes to sign a slip of paper and get our car back. Like wtf. For those reading this, Chase is the worst service/bank you can get. They give horrible and terrible customer service. They do not care about what you have to say. It takes at least three if not more reps you have to call and transfer in order to get a simple problem solved.

All they want is the money you owe, if not, they just take your car. Chase shouldn't be allowed to operate their banking business and they should be closed down for good. For all of those reading this, do not use Chase. I repeat do not use Chase. It is not worth it and you will regret their services. For everyone's New Year's resolutions, it should be to close your accounts with Chase and to stop using their services because, even if you pay the bills, they take your car.

The first person I talked to at Chase the next day didn't know why it had been repossessed. Finally, they put me in touch with this lady named Marty and when I asked her why she had my car repossessed after I made the payment, she said because the order had already been put in. Chase Auto finance is the worst and most unprofessional auto loan agency I have ever dealt with. For starters, if you are one day late with your loan, they are calling you 5-6 times a day, starting at 8a m going until 9 pm. Second, I am getting certified letters in the mail every month even after the payment was made. I deal with Jesse and Sue and I am sick of being threatened by them. If the payment arrangement is one day late, they are threatening repo of the car. I have never had this experience before. When I had my loan through Chrysler, they were kind and civil. After speaking with two representatives on 11/9/2010, today a representative by the name of Josh is calling my friends and family. I am not even 30 days past due. This is nothing short of a harassment tactic. I've called and spoken to a manager about this guy, Josh, who has called me before and hung up and he is now calling my family and friends.

I got nowhere in reporting this incident to a manager and anything has gotten worse since speaking to a manager. The manager kept saying that they are trying to collect a debt. I know I owe this debt and have told them repeatedly will pay on the 15th of November. How can I stop this? At what point is it no longer trying to collect a less than 30-day-old debt but harassment? I believe that because I spoke to the manager is why things have gotten worse. In 2009, I asked my husband to go and make the car payment at Chase and he did. In late 2008, I left a job in Sunnyvale because the family court judge decided my children would go to a public school near where my ex lived, instead of where I was working at a school. I resigned, figuring I'd quickly get another job. That is when the job market tanked. I was all right, though, because I was living off of spousal support of $895 per month and a monthly stipend of $1550 per month that was a part of our financial settlement. The $1550 per month ran out (as it was supposed to) in January of 2009. I found myself living on $895 per month. I became homeless and moved in with friends. I have four minor children. At the time they were with me 3 nights per week.

The current schedule is 1 child is with me full-time and 3 are half-time. Anyway, I went from living with friends to visiting my adult children over the summer of 2009. I came back in August for start of school year and was able to rent a room and got part-time work from home. In early 2009 I could no longer make car payments, after faithfully having done so since 2003. I offered Chase to go to $50 per month til I gained employment and I was rejected for any change to my monthly payment. So I was living off of $895 per month and they wanted me to make an almost $300 per month car payment. I had only 7 payments left, and so wanted to make good on it, but couldn't. I had other debts, due to the divorce, that were insurmountable. So, I decided to file bankruptcy last summer. I filled out the paperwork myself and my degree "Discharge of Debtor and Final Decree" was issued 5/10/2010. I had not made payments to Chase since early 2009, I believe. Out-of-the-blue, late yesterday afternoon, my car was repossessed.

The trustee in the bankruptcy case assured me that the car would be mine and that they had to cease and desist from asking me for money. So, I'm confused. I also just put a new tire on the car last week, and I'm paying a local company monthly for work they did on it earlier this summer. I was in shock, but the kids ran out to get their belongings out of the car. My landlady had seen the man starting to tow it. The kids were shaken, scrambling to get belongings & frightened by the experience. My 9-year-old sat on a chair, crying, for a couple of hours. My 12-year-old had a headache, went to bed early, and had to have Tylenol this morning before going to school. I am missing work, and others are having to take the kids to and from school for me - as I live in Morgan Hill and they attend school in Gilroy.

I am an upstanding citizen, working with local candidates for city office. I have no criminal background of any kind, and no vices. I am an outstanding mother of 4 fantastic minor children (and 6 adult ones). This was extremely embarrassing and the lack of a car threatens my ability to provide for the children. I do get $1350 per month in child support finally, and now spousal is $250 per month. I rent two rooms in a home. I occasionally have had to get food stamps, though try to not have to resort to that. I have no ability to pay an attorney. My current family law attorney works pro bono and will vouch that I am a woman of integrity. I need my car back!

I am very disappointed with the service I have received from Chase Finance. I leased my car from Chase and refinanced it near the end of the loan. The refinance date was June 29, 2010. Belknap Subaru of Laconia, NH paid off the lease, including the July 2010 payment of $299.80. Chase finance then erroneously deducted the July payment from my checking account. Since I discovered this in July, I have been trying to get a refund.

Ron of Belknap Subaru discussed this at length with your customer service representative named "Pam" in mid August and was told I would receive a refund by August 24th. When that did not happen, I called customer service several times, speaking with "Lance" on 8/30/10 and "Charday" on 9/2/10. They said they were waiting for a return email from some other department. I then talked to a supervisor and was given yet another supervisor's phone #. The name given was Colleen at**. She has not returned my call. Ron of Belknap Subaru has also called several times on my behalf. I give permission for Chase to give him any information about the lease/purchase at any time, until this is settled.

I would like this matter settled immediately. This is the worst example of customer service I have ever experienced. I have been waiting two months for a refund that is due to me. I can get no coherent response from your customer service people. They are not informed, not helpful, and many of them cannot pronounce English that can be understood. For a large company like Chase to be giving a customer the runaround for two months should be unacceptable by any company's standards. I hope it is by yours. If I treated anyone this way in my line of work I would have no more work! Please attend to this matter immediately.

I have had a loan for new Automobiles for several years. I have never been late making a payment. Today I received a late notice for a payment I mailed the first of this month. I called and the check never cleared the bank. The Indian person I talked to at Chase, just kept saying that I must send in my payment today, or pay by phone. I agreed to pay for a second time, by phone, and she said that they were going to charge me $10 extra to pay by phone.

I feel that the policy to charge extra for payment by phone or on the Internet is unreasonable, and I refused to pay it. I am mailing them a check for the payment they lost, and the late charge, plus my next payment, but I will never finance anything else through Chase. In the past, I have noticed that it takes several days beyond the reasonable expected time, for Chase to post receipt of a Payment, and suspect that the payment just got lost while it was lying around waiting to be posted. They told me to stop payment on my original check, and send them another one. They charged me a $21.50 late charge, and the stop payment charge is $25.00.

Chase Auto told me that I could pay online for free as long as I register with them my current banking info/checking info. And this I did! However, from day one, they started charging me this one time online fee right away for $10.00! I filed a complaint against them them with the Federal Government and they called me right away!

Chase is just simply bad news! I am still getting charged these fees and Chase keeps refunding these charges every month so I complain about them. They even had the nerve to tell me that this was a late charge! When I wasn't even late! I had to keep calling Chase every month to get this $10.00 online charge canceled!

I, for the first time today, found out that my Chase auto loan had not received its July payment. I received a call at work from a very rude woman telling me that Chase was going to take my car. So when I got home, I gathered my monthly slips and called. The first person I spoke with was Cindy. There were 3 more and then Niazar. I explained I had talked to 4 or 5 different people, one is more rude then the next. I told him I didn’t know until today about this payment and I would call the M.O. company to trace it. He told me it was 59 days late and that if I don’t send a payment they are coming to get the car, the conversation continued asking me my job, phone number, my job’s number, etcetera. I said all that information is on my loan. It’s all the same. He got more rude. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I thought I was on hold and I was talking with my husband, he broke and said, “I was listening to your conversation. Are you sure your husband mailed it out?” He had listened to my whole conversation. By the time everything was over, I was in tears. I just could not believe he heard everything I said.

I had my leased vehicle financed with Chase Auto Finance. I returned my vehicle on December 16, 2009. I received two separate tax bills from Chase. I called my local tax office in Norwalk, CT and went through all of the details with her and she told me to fax over the returned plates receipt and also a letter from my insurance agent stating when the Sequoia was dropped from the policy and the new vehicle added, which I did.

The first call I received from Chase was on 8/4/2010. I spoke to Roger, he told me to fax over all of the paperwork and he would look into it, and get back to me on the correct amount I owed. I faxed that to him on 8/5/2010, he never got back to me.

So then I received the second call from Chase. They had left a message on 8/10/2010. I returned the call when I got home that night and they informed me that I owed them this money immediately, so I asked why did I receive two bills, one was for $760.63 and the other was for $190.14. She told me that the amount I owed them was $950.77, I told her that I faxed all the documentation to Roger on 8/5/2010. She said, "Well, did you call him and tell him you faxed it?" I said, 'No, he was getting back to me. I spoke to him again right before I faxed it.' She told me to fax it to her attention the next morning, which I did fax all of the paperwork to her at 7:55am on 8/11/2010.

I called to confirm receipt and spoke to Michael. Par was not at her desk so I asked Michael to have her call me. He said he left a note on her desk. I hadn't heard back from her, so I called around 11:00 and got her on the phone. She said, "Oh, yes I just got your fax." So she is looking through the paperwork and said, "Well, you owe for 9 months." I said, 'No, I don't know the tax bill was from October '09 through September '10, so I told her that I spoke to the tax collector and they said I only owed until December 16, they had all the documentation and so did Chase now.

She fought with me that the only amount she will give me to pay is the 9 months, so I said, 'Okay, what is that amount?" She told me that I owed them $713.07, she then said, "Ok, let's take care of this right now." I told her, 'No, I am not making a payment right now, first I knew that was not the correct amount I owed.' She said, "Well, this is what you owe, you need to pay it right now." I said, 'I will not do that without a corrected statement from them.'

So she asked for my fax number, which I gave her and then she said, "Ok, let's take care of this right now, I said, 'No, you said you were going to fax me a corrected amount.' She then started getting really loud and so rude, and said, "I did not say that." I said, "You just said that." Then she said, "You have two bills there, just cross one off and put that amount in there and pay it." I told her no, I then heard someone in the background saying to her "This call is being recorded." I said, Good! I am glad this is being recorded! She said, Well, then we will send you out a new statement and hung up."

I called back my tax collector's office in Norwalk, CT on 8/12/2010 and spoke to Nancy. She looked up my information and informed me that my actual amount owed is $190.14! She also informed me the bill that was sent to them the $760.63 had been paid by Chase. They were getting a refund of $570.49.

Now, they were trying to get me to pay $950.77, shouldn't this be looked into? When they only paid the $760.63. So I asked her to fax me over this information to pay it. I am making my payment of $190.14 with a copy of the documents from my tax collector's office stating this.

How can they get away with that? Never mind the way I was treated and spoken to, but they were telling me to pay $950.77, when they only paid $760.63 and that was still the wrong amount that I owed. I will never use Chase Auto for financing again and will tell everyone I know this story. I want to make sure that none of this goes on my credit report or any other records. Thank you.

Well, let me start by saying that my husband and I believe in paying our bills. Like everyone else, this recession has hit us very hard. I got cancelled a lot at my job in the summer time, and so I had a check that was 12.14. We have done the best that we could under the circumstances, and like everyone else, other companies have worked with us big time. Walmart, T-mobile, Orchard Bank, and American General get major kudos from me in that department.

Ok, so here we go. My husband bought a car, and we have only been 30 days late once, and we went on the 31st day and paid with cash at a Chase Branch. When you pay cash, it automatically goes to the account, no matter what they tell you. Have we always paid on time? No. Have we paid any late fees accrued? Yes. So what is the big deal? Do I like paying the late fees? No. But we pay them, because we were late.

Now, here is the big issue I have. This Manny guy called my cell phone and left very inappropriate messages in my voice mail. I am not even on the account. It is my husband's. He threatened me every other day, even after I have called the 1-800 number to make arrangements. I don't believe they have the right to repossess your car, if you are under the 30-day mark. Come on, really?

I finally had had enough and called and cussed him out the other day. He still called and left rather rude and inappropriate messages in my voice mail. He doesn't dare do that with my husband...only me. I felt violated every time he called. I have asked to speak to his supervisor which I know he has one. But he refused to forward me; his solution was to just hung up on me. Really?

I am to the point that I have half a mind to go directly to his office and meet him in the parking lot. Why do we, as consumers, have to pushed to this level? I don't believe in violence, but he pushed and pushed. I pay cash every time, so it goes right on the account, and it always includes the late fees.

I ask like someone else did. Where is the customer service, compassion, etc.? So I expect them to let me be 90 days late, only if I have a valid reason and can prove it. This recession has been hard on every consumer out there. But wasn't it the banks that got bailed out? Where is our bail out? How come Walmart and T-mobile can be considerate and work with you? I owe them money every month, like my husband owes Chase. Why does Chase not care about the hateful reputation they are getting and the anger their "customer service" reps bring on?

Better Business Bureau, be there for the little guy, step in, and help make Chase a better place. I have emotional and psychological stress every time my phone rings. I am afraid it is Manny, and I am going to be violated all over again. FYI, I have kept and recorded each and every message and conversation we have had.

What would happen if the American people decided today to close their accounts at Chase and have their cars repossessed? Chase would fall...without us Chase is nothing. So come get my husband's flippin' car. We would rather walk than put up with this ** anymore. My husband will file. Listen closely, people. An "illegal search and seizure" police report and go to court charging Chase with a felony. There are rules to repossession, and Chase is violating them left and right....

Americans, stick up for what is right. Chase, you **.... Your customer service **.... And Manny, you can kiss my **! I know some people can't afford to lose their cars. But if a movement started, my husband and I would support it 100% Let's put Chase out of business and see if the CEO's and CFO's can pay their bills on time.

At the time of the call, I was talking to the computer with Chase Bank and answering too many questions before I can even get through to a human. This person was rude telling me that I need to stop ignoring them and calling me a name or two and that if I do not call back by 11 PM that a decision will be made with or without my consent.

I then called back Chase, finally getting to a human telling him what was going on. I then asked if he could tell me who would leave a rude message like that. I asked how many times does it show they called me, and could he put me through to this person or her supervisor. Not that he would put me through to her supervisor and whenever you ask to speak to a supervisor you're on hold for five minutes and then someone who say they are their supervisor most times are not. The young man told me that only one other call was made to me, so I asked why this other person had to leave me such a rude message. He said that he did not know that it was a different department. He also would not tell me what decision would be made with or without my consent.

What I would like to know is why do they have to be rude to people first off, my account has not been late before, and why would they leave a message without their name and not give more detail in the message for me to contact the person who left this rude message. Whatever happen to customer service? What kind of people are they hiring that they have to be so rude to people? I made a large payment over the phone and Chase informed me that they would send the paperwork to set up direct payments. The paperwork never arrived. I tried to contact them online but this did not work either.

Another time, the collection agency contacted us about a payment which was never received. I had mailed the payment but the check was never cashed. So, I made a payment over the phone again and asked if we could set up direct payment. Chase informed me they would send the documentation. The documentation never arrived.

Last week, I called Chase because the bill for July never arrived. We had a neighbor collect our mail while we were away. While on the phone, the recording stated the convenience of paying online. I tried in vain several times to complete this transaction but the website did not recognized my account or social security number.

The way the bill was written, it showed that there was a certain amount due for principal and then a $15 fee for processing interest. I thought these $15 were to have my payment auto deducted from my checking account so I only paid the $355. I come to find out the payment was short every month. Of course, no one called me to explain this, and the shorted amount just kept adding up. I now owe Chase $1100.00 of partial payments and interest.

So, I go to the local Chase branch and make a full payment plus $240 towards fees. Then the next day, Friday, I get a call from the repo guy saying that he has an order to go pick up the car. I explain that I just made a payment yesterday. He says he's going to check it out and get back to me.

Today, Saturday, the repo man came and got my car, after I had made my payment at the local branch and after I was told that the car would be fine. The repo man who was driving a brand new Lincoln Navigator, said that his orders were not to collect money, just the vehicle. Now I have to call Chase to find out what happened and how much it will cost to get my car back, this after paying $300 last week to get it repaired. Oh well, it is now repaired and repossessed.

The dealership in Utah, falsified my application and I was put under duress to sign the loan papers for borrowing from Chase under the threat they would take the car back and it would be tough luck for them because they had already sold their trade-in. So like an idiot I signed the papers.

Now Chase only has my information because I am the borrower and in the meantime, like millions of others, my son-in-law lost his job, they moved in with relatives and they both spent several months looking for jobs. I knew they had very limited funds but they never asked for help even though they had 3 children to support. Anyway, last Thursday I got a call from Chase, the person's name was Marsha. She immediately started carrying on about how awful the account was delinquent, how they were coming the next morning and that my daughter's check had bounced. I told her I would get a hold of my daughter and speak with her.

Marsha called back shortly and was even more aggressive and threatening. I told her there was no way I could pay this because my income is from disability and I have a spinal cord injury from a semi truck and trailer hitting me and so she asked my permission for a 3-way call to my daughter. I told her she works in a public place and may not be able to speak openly with us, she said that was okay we should try so I said yes. Big, big mistake, the minute my daughter got on the phone she was yelling about how irresponsible she was (she is not) and how she has ruined my credit and on and on, she said they were coming to get the car in the morning and then sue me.

Well my daughter tried and tried to talk to her but this woman just yelled, neither of us could get a word in. So my daughter went to her bank at lunch and got the cash to make the payment and went to the Chase branch here and paid it in cash...just like she had said she would. Now my daughter was late with the payment but the threats and the yelling had me so upset that I cried off and on the rest of the day. There is no excuse for someone to treat people like that. I tried to call them on Friday and talk to a supervisor, after going through 3 people, all of which said I had to talk to Marsha first, I finally got the voice mail of some woman and I left a message for her to call back so I could report this abuse.

I never, to this day almost a week later, have had a return call. I also called again that following Saturday (last) and went through the same and the guy was yelling at me and threatening also. I finally told him to shut up and said this is why people don't cooperate with your company because you don't let anyone get a word in edge wise. He finally forwarded me to a supervisor, another "please leave a message". I did and still no return call. I, like all the others who have had to deal with these unethical, hateful, threatening humanoids, agree and I will tell everyone I know to never never finance anything with Chase.

I had a Chase credit card (zero balance) that I kept in case of emergencies but it is now cut up in small pieces and I will never never deal with these persons again. I have been so upset by this that I have not been able to sleep, have had a fight with my daughter and now am afraid that because I have never had any notification from them prior to this, that they will just show up and take the car.

My husband specifically said, "after these transactions, my wife will resume sending you paper checks." They did not listen to him. They tried to take more money out the following month. This was unauthorized. This cost me $40.

My husband called and told them not to take any more money out. I have since asked them for my $40, and I was told to hold on and wait for a supervisor. They hung up on me. They have hung up on me four times now, including the so-called supervisors! I will never use this bank again. I cannot wait until I can re-finance my car! I have since complained to the Better Business Bureau. When I told them that I was going to complain to the BBB, they said, "Go ahead."

I have been receiving harassing, threatening phone calls at my work - after I have told them to never call my place of employment. They also were able to obtain my home phone number which is unlisted/unpublished. The message I just received this morning - at my work, was very upsetting. I was told that if I didn't contact them immediately, actions would be taken without my say - it would be out of my hands. I make my monthly payments which are unfortunately, late. But, they are made.

I have a little over a year left on my payments and am doing my best. I called from work this morning and spoke to one woman who was very nice and understanding. She then transferred me to another person and he was demanding a payment today. I kept telling him that my payment would be made next Friday. He then asked for my work number and phone number after I just told him not to call those numbers. He wanted to know our financial situation and explained to him that my husband was out of work - Social Security Disability (retired). I told him that I've explained our situation to them dozens of times. No one listens. He told me he was there to collect the monies owed them and wanted a payment.

Our finances are very tight, as is so many millions of individuals. They just don't care. They talk to you like you are a deadbeat who doesn't care. Once this car is paid off, I will never do business with them again. They are getting their money - they need to leave people alone who are making their payments - if they are late, they need to understand. What they do to people is disgusting - this is definitely harassment! We are stressed out enough trying to make ends meet - we don't need to be talked to the way they do. Receiving calls at my work, makes me very stressed at my job. It's very hard to focus and relax wondering in the back of your mind what they will take my vehicle away that I've worked hard to keep.

I sold my vehicle but was financing it through Chase Auto and needed to pay off the balance in order to get the title to complete the transfer. So, I used money from my savings to write a personal check at a local Chase branch to pay off the loan the very next day after the sale. I was told by a customer service representative that this would be the quickest way to receive the title, instead of paying off the loan online or mailing in a check. No mention was made of paying off the loan with a cashier's check. I was told I would receive the title within 6-10 days after paying off the loan.

I made at least half dozen calls to the customer service number to check on the status of the title and received a different answer every time I called. I was told that paying with a personal check would delay the title and paying at a local branch would also delay the title more than paying through the mail. I was also given different dates of when the title was mailed out to me. No one in customer service could provide me with an accurate answer or date as to when the title was mailed. I didn't receive the title until three weeks after I paid off the loan. Unfortunately, the buyer of my car did not want to wait that long and decided not to buy the car a few days before I received the title. Because of Chase's inefficient process and incompetent customer service, I lost the sale of my vehicle. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I co-signed on a lease for someone. That person fled to France and stole my identity as well. I guess I didn't know them that well. Chase has been misapplying my payments causing late fees. Their lack of customer service and misdirection are unending as they mislead consumers purposely.

They told me that I had to pay $900 to bring my account current and that the last check wasn't applied or cashed and wouldn't be. Well, that was lie. They took out the $400 anyway. So I asked for a refund after the $900 EFT cleared. They said I'd have it in 5 business days. 10 business days go by and there is no refund. I call up, verify my current address, and they state they sent a packet that I needed to fill out proving they cashed the check.

I faxed them the info and was told it would take 3 business days. I called after 3 business days and was told that they didn't receive the info properly and I was given incorrect information. They stated they'd send everything in writing. Well, I call back a week later, verify where the check is to be sent, have them repeat the address, and they send it incorrectly again. I call back 2 days later asking the status, find out they sent it to the incorrect address, and they read to me my current address. I call back 2 days later. They claim they sent it to my current address along with lease termination documentation I had requested. They also accidentally applied a late fee to my next payment that isn't due for 24 days.

I call back 2 days later, verify with a supervisor that again, they had sent the check to the wrong address and that they must have misspoke. I verified that the check was issued to my current address. I was told again it would be 3 business days until it was received. June 1st 2010 is when I should receive all of my information and account history at my current address. They also stated that they were looking into all of the overdraft fees that I've incurred due to them 'accidentally' withdrawing a check they held for over 14 days and 'guaranteed' me could not be cashed and would be destroyed.

I have incurred $60 in total overdraft fees, emotional angst and frustration, and have been deliberately misled for their own financial gain. They have been withdrawing money from my account under the leaser's name, not my own which is a violation of Federal Banking laws.

Yesterday, May 18, JP Morgan Chase tried to take an electronic fund transfer from my bank account for the monthly payment. When I called JP Morgan Chase, I was told that paying off the loan does not stop the monthly payments on the loan. The rude people at JP Morgan Chase told me that I was responsible for going to the website and canceling the payments. They acted like the error was my fault. I find it stunning that a bank could continue to try and shake money out of me after I have paid off my loan. This is thievery! JP Morgan Chase shows no remorse. JP Morgan Chase agreed to cancel further electronic fund transfer attempts from my checking account, but will not reimburse me for the $10 charge I paid to stop the first EFT attempt.

I received an automated call in regards to my Auto Loan on 4/28/10 that a payment was due for 4/27/10. I returned the call to speak to someone about my loan payment being late. I agreed it was late even though 24 hours had not passed from the due date expiration. After Steve answered my call, he continued to ask me to "verify my identity". I gave him my social, address, and phone number. I let him know that all my information is current. He continued to ask me for alternate numbers to "verify my identity". I understand why they want alternate numbers, but don't tell me it is to verify my identity. I continued to answer his questions and informed him I will not be able to guarantee the payment until 5/15/10. He informed me I was in possession of the banks property and if I do not make the payment by 4/30/10 (2 days), I may have my car repossessed.

This is the part that frustrated me. I owe $1039.00 on a loan I took out 5 years ago for over $15,000 and put $5,000.00 down on. To me this is a low risk loan with a stating balance at 75% of the vehicle sale price. At his point, my car is worth $13,000. I have 3 more payments until it is paid off. I was 30 days late one time in 2005 due to a job loss. Now, I am being threatened to have my car, strike that, according to Steve, "The banks car" repossessed. I calmly asked him what options I have and what are my options with Chase as a customer. Steve replied that he can only tell me that I have until Friday to pay. I asked him what would happen Friday. Steve replied, "Chase does not want you to know what will happen". Each time I tried to ask a question after this, Steve interrupted me and repeated himself. He went so far as to blame "current regulations" as to why he cannot cooperate in a conversation with me.

I asked to speak to someone in customer service or a manager that can answer my questions which he had raised. Steve replied that "This is the collection department not customer service". That statement sums up Steve's attitude, depth of personal skill, and lack of professionalism. I asked Steve seven times over the next few minutes of Steve repeating himself (and ignoring my questions) if I could talk to a manager. He continued to tell me his supervisor was on the call and can hear me. I asked his supervisor to get on the call. He kept asking me "Why, what do you want to tell them?" He informed me the call was being recorded by Chase and his manager can listen to it. I informed him this call was being recorded on my end as well, since my work is required to. He then hung up on me.

I called back and spoke to another person. This person was not confrontational and answered my questions without belittling me. I also asked to speak to a manager to lodge a complaint against Steve. I was sent to a voice mail for Charles Hunt where I left a message and am waiting for a call back.

I had a car loan with Chase for 5 years that was never late once. I bought a new car 8 months ago through Chase and within weeks, was hospitalized for months after I had kidney surgery and was out of work. I have made all my payments so far (except this month), but they are usually late. I always advise every representative of these facts each time they call since I am playing "catch up" with all my bills from being out of work for months. The latest call was today from Melanie ** who claims to be a Collections Supervisor. She went way out of line threatening me that they would repossess the car today if I did not make a payment to her today.

The last representative I spoke with advised me I had until the 3rd of May to pay, which is when I get paid again. Melanie insisted she would repossess the car and repeatedly made stressful remarks like, "You obviously don't care about your debts," and, "What will you do without your car?" in a snide tone, and almost yelling, "You are always late since you opened this loan! You clearly can't afford this car. You obviously don't care about paying your debts," and others. I said there was no reason to be rude to me, that I had spoken to someone already and arranged to make a payment, and she said, "Well, you have a problem because that's not good enough!" I stayed very calm but she made me very angry and stressed and would not listen to me at all, but kept interjecting her remarks about how I will lose my car and that I don't care about paying things off, and how they did me a favor by "allowing me to build my credit" by giving me a car loan. Are you kidding me?

I doubt she heard 2 words from me with all her rude interrupting. I have never complained about a collection call before, but this was the most stressful and worst one I have ever had, and I wanted to report it and her because there was no reason for it. Despite my excellent past records, I am now being treated as a bum off the street by a company I pay money to every month (late or not). I endured a real physical and financial hardship out of my control. I am doing the best I can to make things work and to pay my debts, but now when I speak to a representative, I don't know if the dates that they say I need to pay by are real or not. If one representative says one thing and a supervisor calls screaming at me something else, who do I listen to, a representative that sounded courteous and professional or someone who screams and is totally rude and who claims to be a supervisor? I don't know, but this sucks. She should be fired either way.

I am currently behind on my car note for the Nissan 350Z. I have been working diligently with the representatives out of the Baltimore, MD office to bring my account back up to the current status. The representatives out of that office are extremely rude and I receive harassing phone calls monthly at work. My car is currently in the shop because the electrical system is fried and I have to get several things replaced.

I received a phone call from Mr. T. and Sheila, 888-, ext. 10662. Both Mr. T. and Sheila were rude and very unprofessional. I really do not think it's appropriate for a Chase rep to ask me if why I can't afford my vehicle and leave threatening messages with my references when I cannot be reached. I do my best to return phone calls from these individuals when I receive them but often times I am not able to make personal phone calls at work.

I fell behind on the vehicle payments in 2006 because I was unemployed for 9 months. I then had surgery late last year which placed me on short term disability and I did not receive a full paycheck. So for me catching this note up has been a constant battle. I appreciate the fact that the other reps at Chase have worked with me through tough times but I do not appreciate being harassed at work. My vehicle will be paid off on March 2011 and I really want to make sure I get back on track so that I can pay it off. I would also appreciate working with one representative and not speaking with (5) different reps every month. I have to explain my situation to each rep each time someone new phones me.

I would appreciate if someone can contact me in a professional manner. I am requesting working with one representative until my vehicle is completely paid off. Thank you for your time in assistance with this matter.

On April 3rd 2010, I made a $350.00 payment to Chase Bank on my auto loan. I brought a check to the branch located across from the Arden Fair Mall. My payment was not due until April 27th. After I made that payment, I went to Safe Credit Union to see about the possibility of re-financing my car. I found out that they would be able to re-finance my car at a much lower interest rate. Safe Credit Union called Chase Bank to see what the 10-day pay out on my auto loan would be, and completed all the paperwork so I would just have to come in and sign on Monday, April 5th 2010.

After I left Safe Credit Union, I called Chase Bank and spoke with Daniel ** at 2:29pm. He informed me that the $350.00 payment I made on April 3rd would be refunded to me. He said that I would receive a check within two weeks. At that point, I asked Daniel ** if it would count as a strike against me or hurt my credit or standing with Chase at all if I cancelled the $350.00 check I gave them that day. He said no. I called my Bank, Bank of America, directly after talking to Daniel ** to cancel the check. The representative informed me that there would be a $30 fee for cancelling my check. I chose to wait for my refund from Chase Bank in the mail.

On April 14th, I received a letter from Chase and it did not mention my refund at all, so I called Chase Bank. I spoke with Kenz and he informed me that I will not be receiving a refund of $350.00. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was transferred to Mae. She informed me that the check I brought in on April 3rd had posted to the account before Safe Credit Union had called for the 10-day payout, therefore, they would not be issuing me a refund for $350.00.

Firstly, if I would have cancelled my check on April 3rd, that would have counted as a mark against my record because Chase Bank's representative, Daniel ** gave me wrong information. Secondly, now I was expecting a refund of $350.00, by April 17th, that I will not be receiving.

I am very dissatisfied by the service I received from Chase Bank. Their representative gave me incorrect information about my account and finances that potentially could have a devastating impact on my credit. I was expecting and needed that $350.00 to pay my bills, and if I would have cancelled the check, it would have counted as a mark against me. I always pay my bills either on time or early, and it is just utterly ridiculous to me that Chase Bank did not do anything to make up for the fact that my life was impacted due to their representative giving me wrong information.

I received a letter from Chase Auto Financing three weeks after the due date stating my payment was late and it was. Due to a family crisis, I didn't notice that I never got a statement in the mail. The same date I got the notice, I sent the final payment, paying the account in full with a letter stating I apologize for it being late but I never received a statement. I mailed it certified mail. Chase signed for the letter two days from the date I mail it, at which time the account was 25 days late. They processed the payment that same day and the money came out of my account two days after that. Now, I'm thinking that I'm just waiting for the title to come in the mail.

Not so fast, I got a call four days after the money was taken from my account stating my account was just sent to collection and is now 30 days late. I gave collection the check number, the amount of the check, the date it was processed and the date it came out of my account. I was told by collection that because they can't see it on their screen, I would need to make another payment for it to come out of collection. This of course is where the craziness starts. I told the lady on the phone no, you need to figure out why you can't see it and fix it.

I hung up after talking to her, called back and got a guy this time, who starts with the same rhetoric until I interrupt him and told him the phone system shows the payment as received six days before that 30 day mark. He did a little research and found it. Of course, by this time, another 32 cents of interest was added to a non-existing amount owed. He said it would take five business days to fix the problem. At the fifth day mark, when I got another letter, this time I find out it has been reported to the credit bureau as 30 days late (which it never was) and now 35 days late. I'm now thinking, "You got to be kidding." I called back and was told it could take up to seven days to fix and which time the credit bureau will be sent a letter retracing the 30 days late. It's now been 19 days since they received the payment and it's still not fixed.

I bought a vehicle in December of 2007 and financed it through Chase Auto. Had I known how nasty they were, I would have never chosen them no matter how appealing the loan terms seemed. I made my payments on time and eventually started making monthly payments on the principal in addition to the normal payments. I accidentally forgot to send in a payment and received a reasonable enough letter indicating that I missed the payment and that it's understandable. It also requested that a payment be sent immediately.

Well, I sent that payment (including the late charge) and the next payment early. The same day I received the letter, I started getting calls from Chase employees. I called and a really nasty lady was telling me that I needed to tell her where I park my car and give her other information that she has no business having. I told her that last and next payments were on their way but she wanted me to give her my bank routing number right there. She said that until the payment arrived that my vehicle was "at risk."

I asked her what that meant (even though I knew) and she said repossession. I asked her if that was reasonable after one late payment and with that payment and an extra on the way. Her response is that times have changed and if they loosen up on me then I'll think-- but I cut her off and told her to never believe she knows what I'll think. She said that they wouldn't want to repossess my vehicle anyway because of the year and what's owed on it.

I hung up and checked my bank account and saw that both checks had been cashed. I called back and got a different agent, who was, in fairness, a lot nicer. Maybe she was because she knew the money was coming? She said that it takes 3-5 business days for them to process the payment. I'm a little surprised that they would take that long considering how much they like the money over customer service. I sincerely hope that any potential customer reading this story and the many others on this site, will consider never doing business with Chase for their own benefit. I hope that any Chase Auto employee reading this will realize that getting nasty about payments already on the way will realize that they've lost a customer for life.

I've been making payments in excess of what my current monthly charge is. I've made a few payments late, but I've always maintained my account and have never gone over the 30-day period. I began receiving calls from relatives that were used as references at the time I applied for the loan advising they'd been contacted by Chase as they've been unable to reach me. I called Chase immediately to determine what the problem was. I was asked to verify all my personal information, which I did, advising them that none of the information had changed. I then asked if they still show my current phone number in their system and was advised they did. I began questioning why they were calling to begin with as my account is current. I was then advised I had a past due balance of $42 and change? I questioned this as I'd been paying more than my payment amount. Therefore, this information is incorrect. I was advised I paid $40 less on my last payment than I was supposed to. I asked what happened to the money from all the over payment's I have made. I was advised it all went towards my principal balance. I advised them they need to transfer the money from the principal balance and apply it towards the $42 that they claim I owed. The young man stated he put in a request to have the money moved and that should take care of it all.

The very next day, I was awakened by numerous calls and voicemails from Chase. Again, I called, this time speaking with a young lady. I went over the information all over again. The young lady was extremely rude and argumentative. I explained to her in detail the conversation I had with the previous representative the day before. This young lady didn't seem to care, appeared to be more concerned with arguing rather than resolving the problem. I then requested a number or contact information for Chase Corporate Services. The young lady states she doesn't have any corporate contact information. I then requested to speak with a supervisor. Initially, I was told no supervisors are available. I demanded to speak with someone of a higher authority. Finally, the young lady placed me on hold then transferred me to another individual where I left a message for a return call. No phone call to date and it's been over a week.

The following day once again, the calls from Chase began. This time a man named Jessie called me from 503-452-3284. By this time I was livid. I explained to this guy that I'd been contact over 20 times by Chase in the last two days. This is no longer call of resolution but harassment, plain and simple. Jessie states he's removing my number from their auto system list so the call should stop. I then asked what his call was about. Jessie now states I have a balance due of $180 and change. I was baffled and asked how that was possible. Per Jessie, they applied late fees, fees for spot checking. I said what the heck is spot checking. Jessie advised it's when they send someone out to check and make sure the car is at the address on file. I asked, “How in the ** can I be charged for something your company chose to do?”

Jessie couldn't provide an answer. The conversation continued as I advised Jessie of the previous phone calls I received and the results. Jessie then became aggressive, advising me that the calls wouldn't be happening if I paid my bill on time. I stated to him my bills been paid, not always on the exact due date, but never more than a few days late. Jessie became very vocal about payments and that I needed to send this balance in right away. Once again I advised him I would not be paying for a service they utilized, not me.

The conversation quickly turned into a very heated argument. I told Jessie I no longer wanted any verbal contact from anyone at Chase as they're all ignorant and don't know how to be courteous and treat people with respect. Jessie states that's not possible, they have a right to call. I told him, “And I have legal rights to tell your company to never call me or my references again.” Once Jesse’s realized I was right, he then states, “Well, we have to have that in writing.” “No problem,” I said. He provided a fax number of 503-452-3280. I faxed the letter that day. Here we go again, the very next day calls started again. I refaxed the letter as well as filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. My payment was due again on 3/22/10 and I get paid in 3/26/10, four days late, the payment would be.

On 3/24/10, I received a letter in the mail from Chase that was more than rude, stating that I cannot run from the problem. They'll repossess my car, you name it, they said it! These guys are a joke. The next step is to place an order against them so that they are no longer able to come to my home as they've been there a number of times making threats, demanding to see picture ID. This is insane! What happened to respect in the customer service world? This entire corporation appears to be run by a bunch of ignorant individuals that aren't from planet earth. I am unable to obtain the documentation from Chase that is required to put a license plate on my vehicle. This loan closed on March 3rd and it is now March 25th. I and my husband have made repeated calls to Chase trying to get this paperwork and receive a different story each time as to why we don't have possession of the paperwork yet.

We’re not able to drive the vehicle we purchased and not able to get another vehicle to drive because we have a legal obligation on the car loan with Chase. We are currently driving a car that has a major exhaust problem and other mechanical issues. This is the car we were replacing with the vehicle that we can't put a plate on because Chase Auto Finance hasn't sent us the documentation we need. They are also expecting the first payment on this loan in about two weeks.

I've been receiving phone calls from this company since about September 2009. I don't know who they are and have never had an account with them nor will I ever. I have confirmed I am not the person with an account they are looking for, and yet I am still receiving phone calls from them telling me I owe them money. I had once confirmed, stupidly, as I saw no other way, by giving them the last 4 numbers of my SSN and promptly was told, "No, you're right, this is not you, the last 4 don't add up." Well, today went differently. I was called by 8 am, like usual, for a loan I have no idea about and instead when I called them back to clarify again and have my name and number removed again, I received TeeAna or whatever her name was. This promptly asked me for my entire social number and name. I absolutely refused and told her there was no way I would give her my information (as she'd already made me mad at this time with her attitude of, "You owe us." I do not. I owe them nothing.

I got angry and told her I would give her my phone number and to look up my account that way as I do not have an account with them, and would not give out my social security number. She got mad right back. So I elevated my voice and asked for a supervisor. At the time I was told I couldn't speak to her like that and that the supervisor was "outside". So I screamed back at her, "I don't care, let me speak to anyone in charge!”

That's when they started hanging up on me. I called back several times, and each time, they hung up on. Each time they refused to give out any work information. Further letting me know something just isn’t right with this company. Upon using Google and pulling up business information, I called who I thought was their business head. I was informed by Chase that, "No, you don't have an account with us. We get these phone calls all day for these people. They are trying to get your SSN so they can rob you!“ Straight from the supervisor Jesse at Chase.

So I will be opening a criminal investigation towards their company today. I urge anyone getting a phone call from these people to not give them your SSN! These people are criminal frauds! Antagonizing via phone and answering machine all too often for someone without an account with them. They have elevated my frail health due to unnecessary harassment. I am suing!

I have bought two cars from this dealership and I have never had such a horrible experience. I bought a new car and we agreed that the payments, through Chase Bank, would start in February. They called me later saying that my credit report had a fraud alert. Chase and the dealership made me submit the paperwork to lift the fraud alert 5 times! It finally got lifted in February.

We called asking when our payments were due, about the payoff to our bank. They told us that the Chase representative dealing with our case had deleted all of our information by mistake. My bank called them, asking for the payoff. They told us and my bank: "We will get it done, call you with the details, and they will contact you regarding the first payment.” These people never contacted us or my bank and they were never in the office when we would call. They finally did today, March 24th, saying that we were overdue on our payment from February.

When I called and complained, this "Sammy" guy was incredibly condescending, pretty much insinuating that I didn’t want to pay my bill. These people totally messed up with the paperwork and then tried to blame it on us. I asked to speak to a manager and this guy told me that it would be of no help and literally said: "Come whenever you want. We'll be here waiting for you to tell you the same thing," in a very challenging tone of voice.

My husband went there and the general manager was as condescending. He made that payment and immediately refinanced with our bank (which is awesome by the way, FECCCU). I will never buy from Lou Bachrodt in Coconut Creek ever again or deal with Chase bank! You could think that as a repeat customer, they would treat you nicely. What happened with customer service? These people were totally arrogant and had absolutely no respect for me or my husband. I have worked in customer service and I would never even dare to talk to a customer like that! I have no idea how people like this are kept in the people business. Because they messed up, we had late payments in both my bank and Chase. We have never been late in any payments and this has damaged a perfect track of payments with my bank.

In February 2009 I have just started a new job recently after being on short term disability for 6 months and losing my job of 11 years. Chase would call my mom’s house 3-4 times a week several times a day even after talking to me and me setting up payment arrangements. I was never the same person that called each time. I gave them my new contact info and pay check schedule and explained that payment may be a day or 2 late sometimes due to pay dates. I was told that it would be ok.

The new job was at a huge pay cut to the one when I had taken out the car loan and I was having trouble getting caught up on things. I explained this to each person I would talk to. I had been sick and missed some work so my payment was a week late. Chase started calling my mom again and harassing her wanting my work number. She told them she could not give them the number because she didn’t know the number and that even if she did know the number, I would not be able to take phone calls at work. Chase got the number some other way.

Several times they called me at work and when my supervisor would tell them I could not come to the phone, they would hang up on him then call back within the minute. This happened again and after him telling them 5 times and them hanging up on him each time. On the 6th time he gave me the phone and told me to take 5 minutes to deal with them. The lady I talked to was very rude and refused my method of payment (money order) saying I had to go pay by Money Gram which was an additional $10. I explained to her I did not have the extra money to pay it that way. She continued to argue with me and get louder.

Since I was working in a public place customers were listening to me trying to tell her I would mail the payment that Friday over and over, but she still kept telling me I could not pay my payment that method. I had been told once that a creditor could not refuse a method of payment or amount with out good cause. I had paid all my payments through money order and never had a problem. I told her I had to get back to work that I would call her when I was off work and could she give me her contact info. She refused to give it to me saying it had to be taken care of right then.

My boss was needing me to get back to work, so finally after being bullied I told her I would try to pay the way she was wanting. But if I could not get the extra money for the money gram, I would be mailing the money order and hung up on her before she could say anything else. Three weeks after getting the payment and a week before the next payment was due two guys in uniform came into the place I work and asked for me. My supervisor told me to go outside to talk to them and see what they wanted. They were there to take my car. I asked them if they could follow me to where I was staying so I could take my belongings out of the car and they agreed. I told my supervisor what was going on and left.

After they took my car I called Chase to find out why they took it since I was not behind and still had another week to make the payment that was due and told them the payment would have been mailed the next day on payday. I was told that in order to get the car back I had to pay them almost half of what was still owed on the car. I asked them how it was legal for them to take the car since I had made the payment and they had it on record that the payment had cleared and another was not yet due. I was told that they could not help me and that the orders had been given and followed for repo. Then the person hung up.

Since the amount Chase wanted was more than I could come up with, I did not get my car back and also lost my job since I had no way back and forth. Plus since I lost my job I also lost my place to stay and was homeless. I had to stay with family and friends and lost the respect of some of my family because of losing the car. I am still trying to get back on my feet and had to move out of state with another relative to find work.

On Nov 27, 2009, we bought a used Cadillac Escalade, 2007 from a local Las Vegas dealership Courtesy Mazda. The finance guy from the dealership suggested Chase to finance the Escalade, the company that they do business with. I wasn't going to go with Chase, because my Credit Union offers me a better rate. Somehow, Chase matched my Credit Union offer which is 5.25. I told the car dealership that my registration will be filed in Alaska. I was then given a temporary permit, awaiting for my plated registration, when everything gets processed through. From the dealership, the title got sent to the lien holder, and from there, I will request to have it sent to Alaska for registration. The time I called Chase, I gave them a heads up that I am requesting a "state change" for an Alaskan registration.

I then gave the address where to send the title in AK, Fairbanks DMV. I was notified in the mail by Carla, who is in charge of car titles from the dealership, that she had sent the title to Chase, but every time I call Chase, they say that there was no title received. I gave them like another week to follow up. After again a negative response from Chase, I called Carla, and this time, she got an answer from Chase that it was mailed to my house address in Anchorage. I gave it another week, but nothing in the mail. I called Chase again. This time, customer rep said that it was mailed to Fairbanks DMV, but was rejected. I asked that if it was rejected, there has to be a reason why, but no one can tell me what.

All the customer reps I talked to said that they were just reading off of whatever information that's on the screen. I was very frustrated, because my temporary registration has been expired, and I cannot mobilize the car. The fact that no one can tell me the reason why the DMV in Fairbanks rejected, was a complete nonsense. I know the manager of the DMV. She said that they never rejected the title request, and if ever they reject any mail, she said that every mail handler will log it in.

This went on and on. I then asked where is the title, if it was rejected? No one can tell me. Just before the holidays, I spoke to another customer service rep that they now have the title, and it will be mailed on January 4, the earliest and best they can do, because of the holidays. I patiently waited and waited. The end of January came, but nothing happened. Meanwhile, even if I don't get the use and satisfaction driving the car, I sent in my monthly payment as my commitment. Another month has come and gone (Feb), I do not see any promising efforts from these so called customer representatives. They can not even assure of what plan of action they are taking to help me. Just before the end of February, I insisted to talk to a supervisor, and I remember talking to Ann. She said that she'll put in for an application for a duplicate title, and it may take up to the 7th of April. I just disregarded all cover up reasoning behind the delay. Instead, I gave them an ultimatum. If it is not received by March 5, you can pick up the car. Sure enough, 5th of March came, they still can not tell me anything. I told them their time is up. I am not paying for a vehicle that is parked in my garage, and not be able to drive it. The fact that Chase failed to execute and deliver their contract and service, I therefore demand them to refund my money paid to Chase, and my down payment. i lost my down payment, and monthly car and insurance payment.

I called Chase as they asked. Okay, I called them 3 times! Each time, I get a different story, not about missing a payment but it gets even more stupid as Chase can get. Two said I need to come up with $520.00. They said I was late and they had used. Now get this people. Feb payment applied to January, January applied to Dec. What the heck is that?!

I went to the bank. The bank people were very helpful and said they could not see I was late anything. Seems I need to come up with about $420.00 (approx) to make account good and not delinquent for any possible repo chance, hmm. I thought repo meant someone was behind at least 3 months or more and not just 1 payment.

I called again. I got another ** as all over the phone agents are and are trained to not help people in any way, they are there just so squeeze you and not give you any chance at all. This moron says, “Well sir, you missed 3 payments,” and told me the dates which kind of coincide with being laid off of work so I asked, “So then I am 3 months behind?” “No sir, you just need to come up with xxx amount for missing 1 month.” What?! Are you confused as I am?

In person, the bank said and called collections and collections said that I just need to come up with the approx $420.00. So the account is even since I had not made the normal payment. And for internet sake, let's say it was $450.00 a month I owed, okay then so if I only (and got letters saying to pay less but anyway) missed $50.00 a month for 3 months, that's only $150.00. How would they come up with 3 time or 4 times more!

Bank (in person) said I owed x amount so I gave them 100 bucks to lessen it and called Chase on the phone and of course that's where you get all messed up since it seems that neither the banks or over the phone records do not match each other on the screens. Why they should show everything that each person sees is right! Duh! They keep calling and I will not respond since they will not help, offer assistance and I keep getting various stories from each over the phone agent. How's that for a totally asinine company that does not offer in any way shape or form to truly/honestly help a person.

Confused? Yeah, I am. And so is the bank I go to so how's that. I missed 3 payments but not missing any. (What?) I am only late on one and even late fees don't match anything. In person and over the phone, computer records at Chase don’t match each other. It goes on and on. I try to do the best I can to tell anyone to not use Chase in any baking manner, go elsewhere and save yourself from them. Let them go broke as Obama should have let them!

I'll figure something out to stave them off. Told them I am out of work, vehicle is used for getting medication, errands for 2 disabled people but they don't even remotely listen, care or offer help which must mean you are talking to Chase bank. Does Chase even look online for all the horrible stories? Doubt it since they would try to get better in any way they can.

If you call them, tell them you are recording the conversation as they can and will do to you when you call them, see how fast they start to cry on the phone about that yet it is legal to do so if you tell them such! From Chase phone services, "Your call may be monitored at any time." Fair play is fair play chase! I am out of work. They say I cannot get any hardship until account is even but if I could do that then there would be no hardship case you morons, just another ploy by them as usual! Go to the bank, get a money manager person to talk to in person and be calm and state your matter and let them do some leg work for you then compare that with over the phone and see the various stories over the phone get's you! It's amazing how they change stories!

I feel for each of you current Chase Bank loan holders. I really do and say my mind of Chase on twitter when I am on twitter. Get the word out on any site you can but be legal in your wordings! Good luck people. You'll need it as I do! I may try to sell it off and get some extra cash to get some other vehicle no matter the shape! Funny thing, I am late or whatever the story of the day may be but when I go to the bank in drive up, they keep telling me I qualify for many Chase rewards and benefits. Yeah, I'm jumping all over that line.

Yes, I'd love to speak to a lawyer from here on this and what to do very soon. I'll look in my email later today, I hope I find someone! Please use Chase help in the subject heading so I read and open it or it will go to spam and never get read by me. I wish I had saved the 2 letters saying a payment that was less than normal payment is due. That’s how I got messed up in the 1st place by their letters!

Have now experienced repeated problems with payment "coupons" or billing statements. 1st billing one was received (postmark indicated it was mailed on 9/9/09 or the exact day the payment was due! ) after 1st payment was due, had arranged payment so it wasn't late. Now had have another statement that was made via phone, which they charged additional $10 fee for, which was waived due to problems with issuing a billing by mail. Was earlier told I had signed up for electronic statement-- which I had not.

Now again, I have yet to receive a statement. Today will be 3/4/10 in 45 minutes and payment is due on 3/9/10, which means by time I can check mail again, will have less than 5 days to get it to Chase for timely payment. Tried to access online account tonight without any success. First time used reset password from online account page, entered correct user ID and password (numbers sent by email), got message it was incorrect. Called Chase customer service, entered auto loan account number and # and followed menu.

"Banker" finally came on the phone and requested auto loan number again, walked me through my name, complete address and security questions about what company did I deal with in past (all 3 were bogus, correct) and an address I lived at 12 years ago, correct. Then sent new password number by email, which took several minutes. He hurriedly got off phone. I tried new number in email he sent, which arrived 3-4 minutes after "banker" hung up, got incorrect password again.

Called back again, through same lengthy process again until I was asked security question involving information on my adult daughter. I hung up. Enough is enough. She doesn't have anything whatsoever to do with my car loan, what is this, they investigate and databank all your children's information? This is extremely poor customer service I've experienced. Need to have statement timely issued and mailed so I can make payments timely (up to date except this month where I have yet to see a statement), avoid extra fees for automated payments. 2 emails with incorrect passwords-- no problem posting them here, they don't work! additional fees for other bill paying options when they don't issue coupon or statement, to avoid late payment (and likely even more fees).

I made a call and faxed my request, and upon doing this I was told by their recovery person to stop contacting their client and they also left Erika *** a message on her phone telling her that what I was doing was against the law and was just going to make trouble for her. How trying to pay-off an account is making trouble, I don't know.

After all these attempts to get my pay-off from Pamela I finally received it from Mark ***, who told me that it had not charge off yet and after payment was supposed to fax a paid in full letter, which I never received and so I contacted him about this and he said he mailed it. It still has not been received to date. The account was paid in full on 1/29/10. Had Pamela *** done her job, we would have had this account paid off well before the charge off date and I am asking that this be removed. Mark claims that he took care of this, but it is being reported as a paid after charge off on mine and an unpaid charge off on Erika's. This is gravely hurting our credit and I don't feel we should have to pay for their mistakes.

As I stated before all I would like is for it to show paid, closed not as a charge off or remove the account from our credit. Erika also made attempts to contact the corporate office to handle this without filing a complaint and just got the runaround from Josephine ***, who I sent several pieces of information and have copies and phone records for that, who then gave my case to Sonya *** who Erika has a voice mail from and knows little to nothing of the issues I was having and made it seem as if she did not care to know.

She told Erika to call Andy *** who was very rude and made false claims that we were 120 days late and that's why it charged off. Though we were late it was only 90 days as of 1/25/10. I have payment receipts for every month since we bought the car. Erika and myself informed him that I would be filing a complaint, and he stated go ahead as they get complaints all the time. We are trying to buy a house and due to the nature of the account we lost to my points to purchase a home we paid the account off 100%. Now we are forced to rent until this account is fixed or a year or more old.

On Feb. 25 of 2010 Chase auto loan took 556.31 out of my banking account. I do not have an account with chase auto, I instantly called them to find out what was going on. I explained to the rep that my daughter has an account and they probably took it out of the wrong account. That's exactly what happened, I had a one time payment on my daughter's account when she was out of the country with school, that's how they had my account on file which was fine, however when my daughter called to make a car payment, they asked her do you want to use the bank of America account we have on file? She said yes, not knowing they still had my account on file and no one seem to mention it to her either.

Anyway the rep said she would return the money they took out of my account and take it out of the correct account. The money was in fact returned to my account, however 1 week later my daughter's car was repossessed, after a couple of days my daughter noticed the money had not been debited out of her account and she tried to pay online like she usually does, however her account was locked.

She then called a couple of times and got voice mail. Once her car was repossessed we called them and got a very rude response they said, "Well, you should have stayed current." My daughter was in tears, she was current until they failed to take her payment out of the appropriate account. She then called them to see what her options were, they informed her "You have no options. You pay the full amount of what is due on the loan or say goodbye to your car." She had the money in her account and made several attempts to pay them. We also called the company that towed her car and they said, they were under strict instructions not to give us any information regarding the vehicle. They would not even tell us how much the repo fee was going to be. They said, it varies depending on the bank.

Another thing that is odd about this situation is my daughter had been out of town and I was about 3 days late getting her info to make her payment but they had already contacted her dad which is the co signer. Also contacted my mother which is listed as a personal reference. Why didn't they do that this time, so this matter could have been handled immediately?

Chase has very rude customer service reps and are very she also asked them to take her work off of the contact list because she was not able to get personal calls there and yet they continued to call her only there. Well, this has created obviously economic damage. This will be on her credit for years as a repo. She now will have to use money, she had saved intended for the continuing of her education to try and somehow get another car. She needs a car for work, school and to get home for holidays and some weekends.

My salary is a third of what my husband made. I simply asked them to allow half payments from now, February 23 and July when my husband would start a new contract. The first gentleman I spoke with told me that they would not allow half payments, that I would either make the payment today or they would come and get my van. I stated that if I made the payment on the van, there was a chance that I would not be able to make my mortgage payment. He stated at this point that it wasn't his problem if I made my mortgage payment or not. He then asked what color the van was and if I lived in a gated community. I hung up with him and decided to see if I could get someone nicer and more respectful.

The second "gentleman", Marcus I believe, stated that Chase would not allow partial payments, even though my husband and I have had accounts with them for over 10 years and never been 30 days late. He stated that I either made a payment then with him on the phone, which cost me more money, or they would come get the van today. I had no choice but to make the payment.

I have three children and cannot be without a vehicle. How can a bank treat good customers in such a manner? I am so physically sick over this whole situation. We have always paid our bills on time. Why can't these big banks understand that people are going through hard times and need to be give a little assistance? Isn't Chase one of the main banks that received bail out? I may not be able to pay my mortgage next month because of this.

Then after my final payment they threatened me with the $600 owed in late fees. I explained to them that I felt it was their fault that I accumulated late fees because I begged them to change my payment date and they refused. Now they hold the title to my car and will not send to me unless I pay the $600 in late fees. Stay away from Chase Auto Finance. They are rude and will not work with their customers. I have purchased 5 new cars and financed with several other finance companies all of whom were more than happy to work with me through difficult times. Not Chase, they do not care about their customers. I will never do business with them again. My title is being held even though I paid off my 5-year car loan.

We purchased a 2005 Ford Mustang w/ Chase as the lender. We were never late with our payments until May 2009, when our hours were cut at work. We got behind by about 3 weeks, causing our payments to be 'late' all the time. We would call and ask if we could put this one payment at the end of the loan, standard practice, but the answer was always no. They called our phones 20 to 25 times a day. Most times, there wasn't even anyone on the line. When they were on the line, we were harassed. My husband was even told once that they would call just to harass us.

When I called this week to get a payoff amount so our bank could take over the loan, they first told me I had to make my late payment before they would give me an amount. We talked to about 4 different people, all of them with the same hateful attitude. Unbelievable. I called again and finally got an amount, was told it would be the same for 10 days. I informed them I would be calling back in the very next day to pay the car off. I was told there be a fee (of course)! When I called today, same rudeness plus the price had gone up by about $2.50, I said that was fine. I wanted it taken out of my account today. We'll see if it is. I have a sinking feeling that somehow the price will go up again. When I wrote my last letter to them, I stated that I might only be just one person and probably wouldn't make any difference to them, but I would tell anyone I could how horrible they are. And I do.

On Feb 13, 2005, I bought a car financed through Chase bank. I paid faithfully 4 days ahead of schedule for almost 4 yrs. I lost my job and cashed in my $401K to pay my bills. I'm still not getting behind on the car. I finally landed a new job and told her on a Monday in Nov 2009 that I would make the payment on Friday. She refused it and told me I had 2 choices; voluntary or involuntary repossession. She issued repossession on the car that same day. I have paid in over $21K on a car financed for $15K and still owed $11K. My interest rate was 21%. I tried to get the car refinanced 2 years ago to lower the rate which Chase in Texas was willing to do.

When they called to get the loan released to TX, Barb told them no. She did not have to release the loan for a lower interest rate. I am a single grandmother raising grandchildren. I also have cancer and for a bank to have no willingness to help out is unheard of. I feel they only wanted to repossess the car because it is more than paid for and they could resell it and still hit me with whatever they say the balance once sold. I know of by here, lots who don't charge that kind of interest, but I was trying to build my credit. What this bank has done to my family is appalling.

Chase sent an unknown person in a snow storm, who was driving a pickup truck to my door. The person never identified himself. He looked like a random person off of the street. He handed me an envelope with my name on it. I had just made a payment. They have me paying such a high interest rate, 23%. It is very difficult to make these high payments. I was told at the time I purchased the car that if I paid my payments on time, they would refinance the car. That never happened. Now I have a mortgage and a job that has given us a temporary salary reduction and furlough days. I was also told that if I could not afford the car, turn it in. I have been paying on it since 2006, and it seems the balance stays the same. Fortunately, one of their representatives that I use to deal with was very nice, but this new person had the nerve to send a random person to my door. My lawyer will be helping me resolve this matter.

Chase representatives hung up on us, when we try to negotiate a settlement after we agreed to pay off the delinquent balance. The account has been in default for four months, which is the amount of time we have tried to negotiate a payoff. Jovanny is a cancer patient trying to get back on track after a small recuperation. The account has been in default ever since his wife separated from him.

All they say is that they want to talk to him and no one else. When he verbally authorizes a third party to work through the situation, they screamed, insulted, and harassed us, saying they will take his only means of transportation. This has been very detrimental to his health and recuperation. He cannot use the vehicle, because he is afraid they will take it away and will not have enough money to catch up. Even if he comes up with the money to pay off the delinquent balance, his family does not have the full amount to pay off the loan but it is pretty close.

On January 22, 2010, I received a call from Lorenzo of Chase Auto Finance. He began to tell me that my payment was 26 days past due and I need to make a payment today. I told him that I am a little behind. However, I could make the payment on January 28th (next Thursday). He asked me the reason I was behind. I explained I am a realtor and business has not been good, but I am making every effort to keep up with my payments. Lorenzo started making suggestions on how I could get the money. He proceeded to tell me to borrow the money from friends and family, that maybe I should call my husband and tell him he needs to get a cash advance from his employer etc. I told him none of this was possible.

Then, he started to threaten me. He said he guaranteed me I will not have the car pass the weekend, it will be a very busy weekend, and I need to move quickly. He told me I have until 9pm tonight to make the payment. He was very rude. He told me I needed to get off the phone with him and start making calls to see how I can get them the money. The 28th was unacceptable and I am refusing to make payment.

I got really upset. I told him I was not refusing to make payment and I could make the payment on the 28th. This went on for 45 minutes. He belittled me on the phone. He told me that if I did not have the car, what would I do, and how would I get around? And if I don't make the payment today, he assured me I would regret it and again it is going to be a very busy weekend. And when I wake up in the morning and don't see my car outside, then I will know what he is talking about. On and on he went to the point that I did call my husband (who is not on the loan) to prove to him that I was making a call. But my husband could not give me the money today. We could pay it on the 28th. This went on and on, his talking down and belittling me and the threat of my car being gone in the morning.

For three years, I have been paying on my car loan with them and I can only think of one or two times that a representative there was actually friendly. I recently called Chase after they called my cellphone six times in one day. I let them know that I would make my payment on the 29th of January and another one on the 1st of Feb. ( the 1st of Feb payment would be within the 10 day grace period).

Instead of working with me, I got verbally insulted and threatened. But this is a common thing with them. I try not to get upset but it's hard when you got a completely rude and aggressive person telling you how you should get a more "affordable" car payment. Nice. What kind of training do these people get? Are they trained to belittle and threaten people? I unfortunately have to continue with them. I do not have a choice but I have vowed to never let them get me down again. I will never, never finance through them again and will warn all that ask me about them. Horrible, horrible company.

Though I finally got home safe, I wasn't sure what happened so I was going to call the police and tell them my car was stolen. My daughter advised me to call the car company since I was a bit late on my payment. I did and sure enough, a very rude Chase representative told me they had picked it up. I never received a call. There was no need to because it was only 16 days past due. I had setup an auto pay through my bank the month before, and guess what, Chase (the creeps) never took that payment out, so they assumed I was over a month past due. After they took my car, they pulled both payments. By the time I had discovered what was going on, they had resold my car. I am livid and am looking for an attorney, whenever I can afford one. My vehicle 2006 Ford Taurus caught fire on my way to work 112 miles round trip, it was towed home. I couldn't get it fixed due to finances. This company is charging me late fees and finance charges that are more than the monthly payment of $452.32. On September, I spoke to Nicole, the supervisor for John, she proceeded to threaten me with the car being repossessed after I explained to her that the repairs for my car had been over $300 and the car still wasn't working, it kept having a burning smell and loss of power, the computer is lost, and she again told me that it sounded that I couldn't afford the vehicle and I could voluntarily give it back. I asked her how she expected me to get to work. After all, I was working in Rancho Cordova and there’s no public transportation for that route. I told her I had been staying in Sacramento and not returning home.

I explained that I was in a call center environment and needed to get off of my cell phone due to having to leave the floor and that I had a manager that was out for my blood. She again said if I didn't commit to giving her a payment by phone, that they would come and get it. So I finally lost it when a co-worker was gesturing to me that my boss was looking for me. I told her to come get it then and it would have been good for them not to have lied to me and after I borrowed money both months to get it repaired and to make the payments on a vehicle that doesn’t run.

She insisted on wanting to know why I was always late and some sort of episode was every month. I explained that furlough is known nationwide as state workers were given 1 day furlough in January 2009; in February 2 days furlough is imposed; in March, 3 days furlough; no prior notice, just taken. I explained I am still mandated to report to work on Furlough Fridays, drive pay the exorbitant gas prices, and with my car getting only 10 miles to gallon of fuel that I am paid salary whether there is 4 weeks or 5 weeks in the month, I am paid the same, the State was not processing even employees monthly on time, that my overtime check that I expect every month to be paid on the 15th had been paid to me 8 days late.

I authorized the payment, it bounced and several NSF fees at $35 that I would like to wait until I had the check due me in my hand. I asked her why when John told me I would be eligible to extend my payments to at least get back in status and not acquire all the fees they charge daily. She said we have given you extensions and you can't pay your bills after we do that. I was crying and I told her then take the car. Then I returned to my desk crying because my manager was standing there waving at me to get back to work and get off of my cell phone on State time. Well, then she started calling me back until I shut my phone off. Later I listened to her voicemails and returned her call.

She advised me that if I could get my payments current, she could waive all the late fees because I couldn’t understand how I was making the payments every months and owed $1500 over $900 in late and finance fees. Well, she told me if I could just increase my payments to $660.80 for September, October, November, then December’s payment would be extended to the end of the loan and the over $400 fees could be taken off. She had me promise to call her every month after I went into the branch to pay the payment direct something.

I hadn’t been told and was being charged $15 to phone my payment to them. They took the payment out of my joint account with my son and that overdrafted his account causing me to pay all the fees. Chase charged me an arm and leg in fees and finally agreed when I wanted to hear the tape because everything they tell you, the caution is being recorded.

Bought a new car in April of 2006. I was approved for a loan through Chase Bank. I have been paying $412 a month and sometimes I am on time and sometimes I am not. I have never been 2 months behind. If I miss a month I make sure that I pay double the next month. Now I don't make a lot and during the economic times I do my best to make sure my car payment is made on time.

When I am late I have called Chase and told them that I was going to be late this month. They tell me that I have a 12-day grace period and that I will be fine. After my due date I get a phone call from Chase saying that I am late and that I need to make a payment now. There is one employee that works for Chase and he calls me all the time and his name is Tappoon or Typhoon. He sounds African American or from India. He has called me at work and one time my supervisor answered the phone. He asked for me and my supervisor said he is not here. Tappoon asked when is he working again and my supervisor said we are not allowed to give out that information. He then said that it was urgent that he talk to me and he asked my supervisor his name. My supervisor said," I don't have to give you my name, and what is your name?” Tappoon said that it was none of his business and that he would call back.

My supervisor was shocked on how rude Chase was to him on the phone. He discussed to me that he is late on his car payment sometimes too and his bank never does that. Tappoon called again and I picked up. He said this is Nick. I said please do not call me at work anymore, will you please contact me at my parent’s house? He said, "Mr. V. we have been contacting you at your home and left numerous messages and no one calls me back. Now Mr. V. you owe $612 and you need to pay this now or else it’s in my power to have someone take your car." I said," Look, I don't need your threats.

You guys have always gotten my money and I had a death in the family during Christmas and I told you guys that I was going to be late." He said, "Mr. V. this is a problem. You broke your contract. You need to pay the $612 now." I said I already sent a money order. He said he needed all the info now. I said I'm at work and I don't have all that info on me; please leave me alone and you guys will be getting your money. He said, "Mr. V. you may never get a car again because you’re going to mess up your credit. Now it’s in my hands now and I have the power to repo your car.”

After that I was so upset that I hung up. My supervisor was there and heard the whole conversation and he said, "Wow, Chase is a horrible bank." I always make sure they get my payment. Yes, I admit I have been late but for them to be mean to me? I am so upset with them that one time and I have proof I sent in a payment and they called me. They said that I was a liar and that I never sent a payment in. I had a money order. So I went to the bank and asked them. They said that Chase did cash in the money order. I called them back with all the paper work that the bank gave me. A week later I had a letter sent to me from Chase that was an apology letter.

I'm tired of this Typoon or Tapoon guy calling me and threatening to take my car and all. I try to explain to him and he is extremely rude and hostile to me. He was even rude to my supervisor and my parents. I'm about to go see an attorney. I can understand if I was 2 or three months behind on my payment, but when I'm like 16 days past and they call me. I got into trouble at work. I could have lost my job. They were rude to my supervisor.

I reported I have mailed the check. I got asked to verify my info. I did. I immediately got another collection call. I waited and got to a live person. It's the same person I just spoke with. She said she cannot stop the calls.

Today, 1/9/10, I received another collection call. I waited and spoke to Bryan. I explained again, and he asked me again to verify everything again. He started asking me who my auto insurance is. I said, "That's enough. You know my address, my cell, my home, my mother's maiden name." I asked for a supervisor. She said I can complain to customer service.

I was told by Lennea that there is nothing they can do about the collection practices. I can write to Chase Auto Finance Executive Office in Garden City, N.Y. 11530. I asked for a phone number. They said they have no phone or email they can offer me. I called. It is the same customer service. I was told by Amareli and May that I can write to the same address. What would be the point?

So instead, I'm posting it here. My complaint is this: Had I been told by the collection department to call customer service to stop the calls, that would have been helpful. I wasn't told by collections, only until I called customer service. I can't complain about the collection department, because it's a different department. The other complaint is why the collection department needs to know my auto insurance carrier. And had I not stopped, it would have continued with the questions.

I did not even realize right away that the car was missing. Finally, I received a letter (no phone call whatsoever!) that my car was repossessed. This car is not a lease and is on an automatic payment plan, so Chase has never not received a payment on this car - not even a late one!

However, we had to make a payment to get current (we are 24 days late as of this) and then they can grant an extension. I told them that if I could make the payment, I wouldn't need the extension, but that didn't make sense to the idiot on the phone who did a great job of making me feel like the biggest piece of crap ever born.

He went on to harass, belittle, and quite simply, reem me for missing 1 payment in 2 and a half years. He was too worried about who drives the car, where it's at, who is the insurance carrier, to listen to what was going on. He asked if I was getting unemployment and when I told him it hasn't been decided yet, he then insulted me further by saying that they can't grant an extension until I receive unemployment. I again questioned the fact that they won't grant an extension until I get some income; it makes no sense, because if I had an income ... I wouldn't need an extension.

I purchased a 2005 Dodge Stratus which was financed through Chase Auto Finance. The car was purchased in February 2008. I had no problems with payments of the car until I was diagnosed with breast cancer in April 2009. In September 2009, my granddaughter called Chase representative Angel (payment by phone number) who told her that $970 had been paid on the account and that nothing was due until December 23, 2009 which would be $105. My payments are usually $250. I had previously informed Chase that I had cancer and wanted to know if there was some type of insurance that would pay if I became incapacitated. The clerk I spoke with said she did not know. For this reason, I along with my granddaughter called again and I was also told that $970 had been posted to the account. I assumed that a company owned insurance had kicked in. I then asked Angel if some mistake had been made regarding the amount paid into the account and would my account be debited for the money. She said no. My granddaughter was on the phone at the time I was speaking to Angel.

Approximately in October 2009, Rachel, representative, began calling inquiring about my delinquent payment. I explained what had been told to me about a $970 payment. I was then told that there had been a mistake and the money applied to my account was money which should have been applied to a mortgage. The money was removed and applied to the mortgage note. I was told by a representative, Gloria ** (representative) and Marchetta ** (supervisor) that I should have set the money aside to which I replied since cancer co-payments for me are now $200 to $250 each time, not to mention the cost of medicine, etc., lost of my insurance company (which pulled out of Texas coverage) though I did eventually gain coverage with another, there was no set aside money.

Due to their rude manner, etc., I decided to return the car and informed them of this. They continued to harass me by phone and although I told them where the car would be located, they sent a man, Tommy ** (972/849-5956) to my home, whom I refused to open my door for. Since I am located in a senior gated community, I told Tommy the car would be located in Nacogdoches, TX with my granddaughter (who is in college there) at her apartment. When Gloria ** called about the location of the car, I also told her the exact location and told her I was unable to drive my granddaughter back to college therefore the car was with her; that she had cleaned the car out and was waiting for someone to pick it up. I asked them to let me know when the car was picked so that I could contact my insurance company and cancel.

The paper left on my door was titled "Order to Field Visit", date assigned 2009, 12/08; Client: Chase Auto Finance, 811 Rusk, Houston, TX 77002; Telephone 866/347-4960; Fax 713/216-0985; by Gloria **; lien holder, Chase Auto Finance; to Bankers Recovery Service, P. O Box 472013, Garland, TX 75047, Telephone, 972/270-3637, fax 972/270-2529. Borrower: Gwendolyn **, additional information: **; Year 2005; Make Dodge; Model Stratus 4; Vehicle Dealership: Mike Perry Cadillac GMC, Inc.; Tkey Codes: Additional Collateral; Monthly payments: $249.61; Balance on account: $8,225.25; delinquent since 2009-10-23; Amount past due $299.22.

I consider Chase's representative to have been rude, unprofessional bullies and feel that with this country (through taxes paid by the American public) having bailed them and other banks out with billions of dollars, the least their representatives could do is to be civil to customers. I no longer will maintain an account with Chase. I have had enough of this type of treatment. I plan to place my account with a Credit Union in the near future; I would never have been with this bank if they had not bought Washington Mutual.

My husband and I have been with Chase Auto Finance for about a year now. We have had no trouble with the company, except for annoying phone calls if your payment was even 1 day late. Our payment of $292.09 is due on the 26th of each month. We have always paid. We have never paid outside the 10-day grace period until just recently. I called in advance to let them know that my Oct. 26, 2009 payment would be late, but not over 30 days late. I told them our hardship but of course, they asked me if we could not keep the vehicle. I told them we are keeping the vehicle, but we are making adjustments and we are paying. So I made an arrangement that I would pay online before the next billing cycle. I was then contacted on the week of Nov. 17, 2009 stating that I had not contacted anyone about this when in fact I did. He told me that I was accruing interest everyday it was late; that if I postdated a check, I would only be charged a late fee. Of course. Why didn't they tell me that before!

I also told him no one had told me that. So fine, I postdated a check for Nov. 20, 2009 for $321 that included the late fee and the convenience charge. Well later the following weekend, I went grocery shopping. My debit card says insufficient funds. I had to leave all my groceries in line with my 3-year old son! That was very embarrassing to say the least! I went home and checked online my checking account. Guess what? Chase Auto Finance took out $292.09 on Nov. 19, 2009 from my checking account without my permission! Mind you, I had already set up a check for $321 which they also took out! So now my account was already paid for a payment that wasn't even due yet! I called them that night, but they were closed. So then I called them on Saturday morning on November 28, 2009.

They said they could do nothing except for me to fax the research department, which you cannot contact by phone or speak to anyone else. So I asked to speak to his supervisor/manager. He was very rude to me and told me that my auto loan was just as important as any other bill - even more important than feeding my family! I told him that my payment wasn't even due yet when they took that other payment out. I explained myself over and over again. He just repeated himself over and over again like a broken record. So I took the fax number, faxed them my bank statement and information they needed so they could see what happened.

We bought a car at Lithia Hyndai in Fresno and I thought I purchased a 2006 Suzuki Rio. I filled out the paperwork at the dealer and I gave them my downpayment. Two weeks later, the dealer said that the bank (Chase Auto Finance) could not finance the car because not enough equity. Along with the dealer they gave me a 2009 Hyndai Accent Hatchback. At First, I did not want the car because it was smaller than the suzuki. They said that the bank wanted me to get this car with the same downpayment and $350.00 month. I accepted it and filled out the paperwork and drove off the lot. My mistake! I made the first payment but I still did not like the car. In July we moved and we did not have phone service for a few days. They said that they called me a few times but I did not know that. I made the second payment in July. (I have both payment stubs). We moved and sorted our selves out and one afternoon these two people knocked on our door. They said that they wanted our keys to the Hyndai because they were going to repossess the car. They were from Digital Dog from Sacramento. They looked like people from that reality program. (Operation Repo) We got scared! We have watched those guys pepper spray people while they are repoing their cars. David asked the guy why he was taking the car and he said call your finance company. The woman said if you want your car back, be nice to the guy. My husband is interverted and a nice guy. The guy said that he was rude to him. They drove off with our car and I call them legitimate car jacking. You know, people should write their congressman and ask to have this practice stopped. Consumers do have rights! If a enough people complained, chase auto finance would go out of business. We are considering a lawsuit against chase for what happened. I also wrote the BBB and complained.

This is the first time and the last time that I am going to deal with Chase Auto Finance. When I bought my truck two years ago everything was fine, I was then relocated to Florida and husband had no job, so I was a month late with my payment which became almost constant, until I thought in July I was caught up. I sent a payment to them via western union in july and Chase is stating that they do not have this payment in their system. Western Union is doing everything they can to help me but Chase is not, they wont even call Western Union and talk to them, I am the middle person which totally sucks. The other day I received 6 phone calls from Chase and not one message was left. When I called them to see why they called so much they told me that my account was being reviewed because of all my lateness. I told them that I a month behind but if they would apply the payment I made in July I would be current. I was then told that it looks like I cant afford my car and may have it taken away from me. I explained to them that my husband was unemployed for almost a year but just got a job and my job had cut my hours and now I am back to a full work day. I also told the man I spoke with that there were several months where I made two payments and I would be current if they applied the July payment.
I can understand if I was 2 or 3 months behind in my payments and I wasn't making any, but according to the man yesterday my payment is 12 days late. I cannot believe they are calling me for 12 days in fact they have called me for being 5 days late. I told them when I get paid next friday I will send them a payment via western union, they told me that I would need to ask my employer for a cash advance then. My employer does not do that but if they would just apply the July payment I wouldnt be late.

I have one thing to say about Chase Auto Finance.... Stay as far away from this company as you can!!!! I live in Lumberton Texas and back in Sept 2005 we were hit by Hurricane Rita. Chase Auto Finance contacted me during this time and "out of the goodness of their heart" asked me if I would like to defer Octobers payment since we were in a disaster area. Sounded good to me. I could certainly use the help. Now I am 1 payment from having the truck paid off and I see where they have added an additional 385.00 to the payoff. I called and was told it was interest that had accrued on the deferred payment during the storm. I say "you have got to be kidding me!! You approach me during a time of disaster and make this offer and extend your sympathy only to leave out the fact that Oh yeah we're gona charge you daily interest on the amount of the payment. Chase Home Finance made the same sympathetic phone call and turned right around and reported me the credit agency for being 30 days deliquent. These are the most hateful arrogant people I have ever dealt with. I will reluctantly pay the payoff on my truck and wait patiently for the title that will probably be "lost" and I am currently looking to finance my house with a more customer friendly company.

I am trying to avoid problems not creat them.Well after much arguing with the people in collections about when I would be back to work they granted me a two month extension.
I am an Owner/Operator in the trucking buisness.Well 2 months came and went and the harassing calls started.I explained my medical status to them and how 2 months was not enough time, the doctor has not released me to work. They would hear none of this. They only demanded payment and the harrasing calls started to increase from every day to over a dozen a day and nite. Last saterday I got one of those calls starting out with Allison after about 30 minutes and refusing to answer the questions to their likeing (I only varified my info as everything is still the same asit has been for fifteen years and the life of this loan. i.e. adresss phone location of car)Alicia got on the line stating she was a manager and after another 30 to 40 minutes agreed that if I make one full payment she would give me another extension giving me a chance get caught up.When Thursday came and I got paid I called back to let her know and to get in writing our deal her attitude changed.Along with the Acceleration Notice she she denied makeing any deal. I got her to repeat that and when I told her she was being taped she abruptly ended the call. Well Chase would not acept payment on-line so my wife went to the local branch and paid the note.Which was promptly posted. The repo orders are out on our car and they refuse to stop this. I purchased a new 2007 Chevrolet in August 2007. I had just gotten a new job and needed a good vehicle for my 100 mile round trip commute. That Christmas is when gas prices began climbing up to the 4.00 per gallon mark in Missouri. I fell behind on my payments because I was spending that much in gas each month just to get to work. I received an extension in October 2008 and since then, also borrowed from my 401(k)and my parents and even took out payday loans (which in themselves is a bad idea).
As the economy worsened, not only was I spending so much in gas, but our hours at work were cut and it is just now, November, 2009, starting to get a little better. I have explained this numerous times to every representative I have spoken with. Chase now calls me 8-10 times per day, on my home, cell, and work numbers. On October 16, 2009, Eric called me at work (in a call center, where we are not allowed to get calls normally)and said that if I didn't come up with at least 700.00 by the following day at noon, that they were going to reposess my car. I told him several times again that I am single, have borrowed money from every other source I have and that I would be able to make my next payment the following Friday, October 23, which was my next scheduled payday. That wasn't good enough. He said I wouldn't have my car by then. I made other arrangements for transportation to work so I wouldn't lose my job. The following Wednesday, Chad called me at home and I explained to him the previous conversation. He said that person never should have told me that because they would "do whatever to help keep my car" but then proceeded to ask the same questions as everyone else: color, make model, where it is located, insurance, who/what/why/where/when how much I could borrow. After 20 minutes of this, I finally just told him to come get it. I was tired of dealing with them and all the stress of the whole situation. After another 20 minutes of him trying to talk me out of that, he finally agreed to fax me a form for voluntary surrender. I faxed that form back to them on October 22. As of November 19, they are still calling harrassing me to get their money. No mention of the surrender letter.

I financed a new car with Chase in March '09. In September '09 I added another new car to Chase, so I had two auto finance accounts. To make a very, very long story short, Chase Bank did something that was very unprofessional that hurt my credit so I closed my checking account and decided to move my auto accounts to other banks. My other bank sent Chase Auto Finance a check for Car A, and Chase paid off Car B. Both banks have said that it's my problem and I have now spent over two months trying to get Chase to reopen the account for the car that wasn't paid off and pay off the correct car. I am now paying three car payments for two cars. Car A at Chase is being paid and Car B is being paid at both banks. So you say this isn't possible. They have to fix this. Well, all I can tell you is that you have not seen a level of incompetence like that at Chase Auto Finance until you see it with your own eyes. I have been told that it would be fixed in 7 business days, THREE TIMES NOW! It's still not fixed and I doubt it will be until I finally just start suing both banks. I've had multiple days ruined arguing with these people all day on the phones. They've sent me letters halfway through the 7 day periods that they say they will fix the account asking for things that they've already asked for and received. It's the most unbelievably simple mess to fix if you are competent.

In July I had contacted chase to see if I could have that payment which was due at the end of the month be put on the end of the loan, due to the fact that I had a family emergency. They told me that it would be granted, etc. I had never missed a payment nor was I ever late. I skipped that payment and continued with the payments monthly as I had always done. I started receiving harrassing phone calls and twice I attempted to talk to who was calling and explain to them as to what I understood. They kept telling me that my payment is constantly late due to the fact that I did not make that July payment. Finally I had some very rude person on the phone and explained that I have never missed any payment and that all of my payments have been made with the exception of that one that they agreed to. Bottom line is I didn't want my credit ruined so I said that the best I could do is add an extra hundred dollars to the payment each month for the four months to make up for the payment. I provided the caller with all of the information and she stated that she would date the check for the 29th of October as that is when my pay hit the bank. Therefore that would keep my account current, and I would not be reported to credit. Well it is now Nov 2 and it is not showing up on my checking statement as of yet. If I had mailed it like I wanted to it would have been done and in a timely manner.. I sure hope that they do not file it as being late since they were given the authorization 5 days before .

    I bought a KIA Spectra May, 27th 2009.
First Payment June 26th, for $312.00 posted June 29th. I received a temporary two week layoff notice starting on June 26 until July 12. I was not concerned as I had been told by my employer that it was arranged. I called to set up my account the week following the first weeks as instructed. July 26th payment was due, and I was still waiting for the un-employment, Carlos called and I tried to explain to him of the unemployment problem, but he gave me no alturnitive but to go to a "cash advanced" store. of which I was able to make that payment on the Aug 14th including the 15 dollar late fee. Carlos started calling my employment and left messages with them, and the emergency contact list which was provided at the dealership for Emergencys and references. September 9th I was mailed a letter stating I had been turn into a collection company, even though I was in contact with Chase and trying to keep the communications open and honest, and was only 2 weeks late. (a collection company) September 12th I finally found out I was not going to receive the unemployment from the 2 week layoff, so I contacted Chase and asked about making "Good Faith" payments for remedy, or to have a defered payment granted, that I have been employed for 10 years which should prove my values and consumers principle., but was turned down flat. I sent a payment Sept 22, waited for the next statement, but only received harrassing phone calls, even though the Certified Green Card showed Chase had accepted it on Sept 26. Nothing more was notified. I simply assumed the payment was being processed and was not reflected by the other departments, or a cross in information. Then my phone matrix/network went on the fritz, so Chase continued to call my employment and reference list. Even after my parents asked them to discontinue calling them about my personal business with them, they continued until they told them it must have been disconnected, to get them to stop bugging them. It was a mechanical problem, not disconnected....anyway October 8th at 3:30 am (est) An old pickup truck pulled up and had it hoisted to the truck, Its exaust was loud which woke me, and I went to the front door to get a better look to see what the ***** was happening. A male dressed in black, approached my porch, and I was afraid, and tried to lock the screen door for protection. He stated he was taking my car. I asked in shock, why, I had made the payment and had a receipt to prove it, certified mail, and he refused to give any information about his validity or jurisdiction to take my personal properity. He told me to get my things from my car if I wanted them. I followed him to my car and asked how he had gotten into it without the VIN # accessable, and he tried to tell me it was on the door panel, but I had removed it, as I am a secured and sovereign person with all the proper paperwork filed, complete with surety bondedl. The male continued to tell me he did not have to present any paperwork or give any information that it is a "Civil" matter. I called the police for assistance, as he was nothing more than a burgler at this point. The cops refused to get involved, as they said it was a civil matter not a criminal. I insisted it was a criminal matter as no paperwork had been processed through courts, and I could prove this is a mix-up. But the cops were unwilling to file paperwork of the complaint. A week later I received a call from the theif I could pick up my personal things, but he was charging me $40. cash only, and with the stipulation I was to give him the keys, of which they did not have. In order for them to have keys made, I was told it would have to be a court order for clearance, which supports my car was car jacked. I called and tried to talk to someone at Chase about the payment that was made, at even though I have proof of the payment including a notorized mailing of the certifed mail receipt, I was told I needed to make full payment for the car before it was auctioned off. I told them, I have never received any paperwork stating anything about these proceedings, and they refused to budge. Oct. 14, I received a new statement in the USPS mail, (which is a CONTRACT by law.) So I borrowed the money to bring the account current (again) to get my car back, and I would deal with the misplaced payment later. When I called to report the payments made directly at the Chase Branch Bank, I was informed the payments would not return me my car, but would be posted towards the payoff. Again I told him I have received No paperwork about this suppossed repossession. The rep. said they mailed it out on the 14th, I should get it soon. I told them that was well after the fact and this is not right, My attorney would be contacting them. THe rep. was flippant and told me to have him contact their legal department. at a certian number. I did not receive the so called letter until the 21st, of October, 3 weeks after they took my car.

Payment was due 10/6/09, payment was submitted 10/26/09, 20 days after. I cannot understand why any company would harrass and threaten a customer, especially when the payment is only 20 days past. The balance on this account is about $4300.00 and we have been paying off the loan since 2004, I do not understand why they are going to this extend.

I financed a car through Chase Bank in 2008 for my daughter, she was unable to pay and it fell to me since I was the one who took out the loan. My wife was laid off of her job and money became tight so I had to self reposses the car. In 2006 my 82 elderly mother put me on her personal bank account because she was undergoing surgery, chemo and radiation treatment. She put me there only for one reason only and that was to withdraw money in case she needed it. She had originally opened her account years ago with my deceased father when it was Bank One then Bank One became Chase.
Chase sold the car at auction but leaving me to owe $6500. They called me for payment and I told them there was no way to pay that amount but if they would arrange small monthly payments until such time as I could get the money I would gladly pay. They made me an offer at a lower amount but again I could not pay that all at one time. A month later they found I was on my mother's account and took all of her personal savings out of her account. I called the Manager a Matthew DeFrance of the Chase National Auto Recovery Group and told him that was my mothers account he took money from and that I was only a representative to her account and not an active participant in any daily activities. He said he knew but didn't care and was keeping the money even after I begged him saying this was my mothers money she used to pay for her medication and doctor bills her insurance did not cover, still no luck. I found out what Right of Set-Off means and if one has an account at a bank that they are indebted to then the bank can setoff the funds in the account to pay the debt. But on a joint account like this the bank does not have the right of setoff if the debt is created under a consumer credit card plan OR "your (me) right to withdraw funds from the Account arises only in a representative capacity." It can be shown that I did not open the account and that my mother and father opened the account years ago. I can show where I did not access the account at any time by making withdrawals or deposits or writing checks or any activity whatsoever but was only my mother representative in case she was unable to gain access on her own..in other words in a coma, hooked up to machines or whatever, but my involvement was only as a representative. I can show where I was added to the account years after it was opened for only one purpose. In Chase Bank's Account Rules and Regulations page 17 under SET-OFF, specifically states setoff does not apply in a joint account if one of the joint account owner's only right is to withdraw funds in a representative capacity.

I got behind one month on an auto loan I had with this bank. Despite my explainations they were calling over 18 times a day on every phone number they had from me including my parent's home. One day my daughter (who is age 17) answered they phone while I was at work and they accused her of "lying" that mom wasn't home, saying "I hear her in the background little girl, you're lying, she's just scared to talk to us". I was so angry, I was really at work and I certainly am not afraid of anyone. I explained we were getting things straight, I needed to get back to work after a childbirth which I did as soon as I was released. These individuals were replaced every few days by new callers, all aggressive, all rude. When I finally called with a payment to get up to date, I was again dealt with my a rude customer service agent. I was trying to pay my bill while I was being chewed out for being overdue. I was asking for the calls to stop while he was saying I deserved it and when I asked for the calls to stop he said, "Hold on, you will not speak to me that way!" What way? Asking for calls to stop? I hung up on him and paid through my bill pay. It's that man's fault for not getting the payment today. I know there are laws against this behavior. I was behind on several bills and no other company treated me this way, even my other auto loan provider was polite and gracious. I will NEVER again take a loan from Chase bank nor will I do business with them in any way. Nor will I allow any of my family to do so.

Where do I begin? Chase calls my house every hour, starting at 8:00 a.m., 7 days a week to harass me about a late car payment. Today, October 9, 2009, I tried to call Chase to see if I could get a fax number so that I could fax a proposal that would resolve my auto loan problems. No matter who I talked to, they wanted to know why my payment was 13 days past due. I said, I just need a fax number. They said they would not give me a fax number unless I told them when I would make a payment or told them why my payment was late. I told them I can't afford the payment at the moment and that I wanted to fax a proposal to them. Again, they got argumentative with me, told me that I should start voluntary repossesion proceedings, and wanted to know - again - why my payment was late. I said, why does that matter? I just need a fax number, it's public record, why are you being so difficult? Still no fax number. Chase has been absolutely horrendous to deal with. I am so stressed out with them, sick of their harassing phone calls, even when I have asked them to stop the calls, they continue. I have reported them to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office but an sure they won't do anything. In the past I have tried to make my payment online, and lo and behold! They charge a $10 fee for the "convenience" of paying your accoung online! Everyone I have talked to at Chase has been rude, insulting, everything - short of calling me a deadbeat. They REFUSE to work with their customers, even during economically difficult times. They have me near tears on a regular basis. How can they get away with treating their "customers" so poorly? I can't take it any more, but I am afraid they will repossess my car (an action they seem overly willing to undertake). It is a constant theme with them, as soon as you say you are having financialy difficulty, the first thing they say is, "Would you like us to send you the voluntary repossession paperwork?" to which I respond, no, I need my car for work! What can I do?

I called them and explained that was the first correspondence I had ever had with them and how was I supposed to know the loan went through them, where to send the payment, etc? They had no answer and told me they only send out quarterly statements, no payment books or anything of the sort. They claimed they called my work number and I hung up on them, which I doubt, since 9 people work here and we all have the same number. But with these clowns it's entirely possible somebody would think it's a telemarketer and hang up. Anyway, they never answered a single question but instead hounded me to make the payment over the phone, which I have no intention of doing since I will not pay the late fee.

A month later I still hadn't received the title and they mistakenly took another payment out of my bank account. I called them and they corrected the auto payment mistake, but not without a big argument, and said that the title should be sent out soon. Another month and still no title and I emailed them a few times without any response. So I called them again and the first lady was really rude and said that they sent the title and there was nothing that they could do about it. I asked about the fee and she said that it was a same day fee, which isn't true. I took a screen shot of the last payment which states the fee was for the title to be mailed to me. They refuse to resend another title, which apparently they can't because there was only one. And refuse to credit me the $10 fee. Other auto loan creditors usually send the title via certified mail... there is no way to prove that they actually sent it to me...

We purchased a pre-owned vehicle in May of 2009 and selected Chase for auto finance as they offered the lowest rate. I filled out the auto debit paperwork at the time of purchase and as the next payment was not due until July ,Chase assured me we had plenty of time to set up the auto debit. We were out of the country in July and we returned home to various rude and harassing voicemails and phone calls that our payment was overdue. I informed them we had auto debit on our account and was told that they had no such account information, so I again went through the process, this time online, to set up our account and made the payment and was assured that the auto debit would be set up and the late fees removed. The next month we were again harassed by calls and letters for payment, so I spent two hours going through the process to set up auto debit as the Chase rep informed me I had to confirm payments made to my bank account even though online there was no information about this and I did not receive any emails or letters. I processed the payment and set up the account with the rep on the phone the whole time. This rep was at least apologetic and assured me we were good to go moving forward and to call the following week to confirm the late fees were removed. We again were out of the country traveling and upon returning, once again came home to more harassing calls saying we do not have auto debit and payment is past due again even thought we just paid them two weeks ago and late fees have still not been removed. I asked for a supervisor and was on hold for 45 minutes. I asked for a supervisor again the next time they called and was hung up on. The third time I was told none was available. The representative that called the next day was yelling at my husband asking where the car was as saying they are going to re-possess it. I have ever been so threatened and mistreated by a service organization that we are patronizing and trying to guarantee on time funds since May with automatic debit payments. It seems they just want to generate late fees and enjoy harassing consumers. I am cancelling my credit card with them which was a leftover from Washington Mutual, a company that understood the meaning of customer service, and our loan account with them and plan to seek damages. I will never do business with this company again.

He asked why I was late I informed him of additional expenses that occured.
He verified my address which was listed as my old one (4430 N 76th street #3) I verified my current address and asked him why haven't the account been updated since I placed this information on my August payment. He said this payment will avoid any actions such as reposessions ad he will "call the dogs off". I asked him if my vehicle had been reposessed how much would that be he stated he didn't want to discuss that because he wanted to help me so we wouldn't get to that point. And if my vehicle would get reposessed, he will make sure the vehicle is returned. He stated that he can not give me the extention until the payment has posted and for me to call him back on Friday about noon with the transaction number. I left work came outside and noticed my vehicle was gone. Since I parked on the street, downtown Milwaukee, I assumed it was towed due to parking tickets that I had on the vehicle. Tuesday, September 22nd, 8:10am I went to the Tow Lot and was informed the vehicle had been reposessed by Chase Bank. I called Gilbert about 8:30am told him my vehicle had been repossessed, he said he haven't heard anything from the repo company and will call me back once they contact him and have my vehicle dropped back off. I called him at 9:00am to ask him if it's possible for me to pick my vehicle up instead of them dropping it off he said that wouldn't be a problem once he talk to the repo company which opens at 9am and he talks to his supervisor. Dora (supervisor) called me at 9:21 am from (414) 977-8457, and gave me the number for which I can contact regarding my vehicle. She went on to say I can call them to retrieve my belongings. I corrected her and said to pick up the truck right? She stated I can pick up the truck once I pay the $3,333.27 that I owe to them. I asked her what happened to the agreement made with Gilbert, she said she cancelled the agreement and the vehicle was picked up at 2:30pm before I called Gilbert. I informed her that I was not notified of a reposession notification via mail ot when I talked to Gilbert. She blamed me for being late and for that I have to pay regardless of who I talk to and there's nothing else she has to say. I called back and spoke to Lee, manager at (414) 977-8480 I try to explain to him that I was not notified of a reposession notification and Gilbert didn't inform me my vehicle was in route to being reposessed. He said he didn't have to give me a notification for being reposessed and that it was a poor judgment on my behalf for placing a no call block against Chase in 2008 for harassment of phone calls to my job. So he retailiated against me because of this request last year because of the unwanted phone calls from Chase to my job every hour for being 5 days past due along with the unwanted threats to me. I asked him why would a rep take payment arraingement if there was a notification for reposession, he said again he doesn't have to infrom me of anything, the vehicle has been reposessed and the funds have to be made before I can retrieve it back.
