We had a Subaru leased through Chase. Never missed a payment. Turned it into dealer at lease term and got a bill for $4500 from Chase for excess mileage (the car was under allowed mileage). It has been 4 months of us sending Chase the correct mileage documentation, making phone calls, and being frustrated. We have had multiple people tell us the problem is fixed and the large bill eliminated. But when we request the new statement sent to us in the mail (We need proof. Don't trust a thing they say) it is always the old INCORRECT balance. Chase needs an overhaul. Nothing gets done correctly or in a timely manner. I will NEVER use Chase for anything.

I would never use Chase auto finance again. I had my car for 3 years. Never had been late on a payment and had even been ahead on a payment sometimes. I got sick and need an emergency open heart surgery. I was going to be out of work for a little while. I had called to work out some things I can just see maybe if they can push some of my payments. To the end they will not even apologetic I'm even having to have surgery and they were not even willing to work with me. They automatically said "no we cannot" and then later repoed my car. I would never use Chase again.

After 3 years, and only one late payment (by a week), my most recent issue with Chase has come to a head. Drafting payments on autopay months after I turned the feature off and incurring hundreds $ in fees from my own bank because Chase ignored my settings and my request to change my due date which can be done for accounts in good standing. I'm not going to give a long synopsis, but let's just say, if it's not resolved in the next week, I'm filing a class action suit. Please comment here if you'd like to be included as there are thousands of bad reviews on this company and what they're doing is theft, plain and simple. I'm done playing games, spending hours on phone with over 15-20 reps, and the lies they tell. Over it.

Please never use Chase Auto Loan... I purchase a Chevrolet and got a loan with Chase Auto. My car is a 2016 Suburban... my cars was paid more than half. I went over some financial difficulties due to my child with cancer. Make story short... I make mistake of making deposit in wrong account to pay 2 months on my car. They got my car which I understand. But when I call them to pay what I was behind and I know will be some extra for repo fee... They said they won't finance the car anymore and ask me to go and get license plate and stuff out of my car. They said I'll only have 10 days to pay for my car. On July 5th will be sold to someone else. I must pay car in full. I use Chase Bank for a long time. I was under the impression that this bank will help the community not step on people. I don't know if I could do something else but hope people who read this won't use Chase Auto Finance.

Chase extracted two extra payments PAST the 36 that were owed them AND NOW will not issue a refund!!! 'The process takes time' I keep hearing - it's been two months past the close of the lease and no one seems to be able to make my money appear... All I get is a future date (a different one) each time I call AND I CALL REGULARLY... Such liars!!!

Auto Dealer put me in a Chase car loan. Told me there are no prepay penalties. Chase has a prepay limit of $9900 in the a physical bank location and $5000 limit if paying online. Obviously this is a penalty if you can't pay your loan the amount you want. Chase bank is HORRIBLE. I will never use Chase and suggest you reading this stay away from Chase.

Took out an auto loan and set up direct deposit right away. So I would have no hassle because I've experienced chase before. Once again I got burned right in the beginning before I could even realize it. They charged a late fee right in the beginning before they even sent out their first statement. So I call and was told it has to be done in the branch. Next time I go to the branch, I notify them of it and they spend the first 45min trying to sell me stuff I don't need and then proceed to tell me the fee was too long ago and they can't do anything about it. I just set up the online account a year later for accounting purposes, so that's how I found out about it. Never would have known from any of the statements. I would have never opened my auto loan with them if it wasn't what the dealership offered, for reasons like this.

Re-financed a car with them in August 2016 only to find out in March 2017 that the title was not transferred properly. Over 16 phone calls and several emails I still don't have resolution. Trying to get the title settled so we can sell the car. I have gone thru 2 supervisors and online contact and still have no idea when this will be settled. They are all trained to say the same thing, "Someone will contact you in 24 to 48 hours." They never do!! No one and I mean no one cares to settle the matter. They just want to get you off the phone. If it wasn't such a pain to change banks, I would move my business immediately. I actually resorted to begging for someone to contact me with still no result. This organization is the most poorly managed I have ever come across with no regard whatsoever for their customers.

I make usually regular payments for a long time. Sometimes, I paid more than the required amount. During last months, I could not make for some reasons (Mom's health), but, on 11th April, I called by phone and made the payment for 628 (because I found is 1628). The lady did not accept the cash and she had a hoarse voice and could not understand what she told me. Then the connection was out. She did not explain me the situation well. (Recorded all).
I have not got any prior notice to take the car away. This evening, I came out from my office to get some copies of journals from my car, I found there is not my car where I parked. I thought somebody stole my car. But, lately my neighbor told me it was towed. I immediately called to Auto Finance and asked about what was happened and what will be the consequences and what should I do. Then, I realized I never get a call or mail or text from them for a long time. No prior notice and it was towed early morning. I feel like they acted like a thief. And they were not sincere in the procedure. Never send me a reminder/notice.
1. I never got prior notice. 2. I tried to make a payment on 11th, the lady did not accept. She has a hoarse voice, I could not understand. She did not try to convince me well. 3. In fact, I plan to make a payment tonight after my office hour. (Maybe my instinct reminds me), but my car has towed early in the morning, I only knew in the evening.
So, I am very much willing to get a help for this kind of situation. I feel it is unfair. I asked for the supervisor and checked- he said it is fair. My phone is on DNC list. I also asked him for the supervisor or manager to explain what was happened to me. 1. No reminder/notice. 2. Not accepting my payment of 628 on 11th night and not explaining and convincing me to understand the current situation. Please let me have an information for the contact person to get help. I only need to pay 7000 as a remaining balance out of 34000 and I cannot let it go by their cheats and tricks. Please advise me. Thanks in advance.

I paid off my car with them. Their staff named DONELLA ** totally messed up my pink slip (car title) and the Bill of Sale and just sent the messed up documents to me without doubling checking. Now my clock is ticking that I need to pay the sale tax with DMV and the new registration. However, the pink slip and the bill of sale are all wrong. CHASE refused to fix it for me. I called them EVERY SINGLE DAY for a whole week. First of all, they lied about what they did and what they told me without a blink. And I told them I recorded every conversations with them. Then they started lying about they don't know the guy Lawrence that I talked to the day before. And then when I asked them to direct me to DONELLA ** who messed up my doc, they said her dept doesn't have phone line (another lie). And then they said they already sent me a revised doc and provided me a fake FedEx tracking number which never had any updates.
I called again, they said they didn't lie but FORGOT to put the documents in the FedEx envelope and mailed it to me after creating the tracking number. Then I asked them to just fax the docs to me immediately, they tried to dodge again but I cornered them. Finally, they said they HAVE NOT PREPARED the docs at all! All the lies, lies and lies! Now they are just bouncing me off again saying that they cannot reach DONELLA ** to fix my docs.

I will make this short because the same story has been told over and over: we signed up for checking draft and they confirmed this. Then, without our knowing, the payments did not go through. Then I started paying manually because I could not get them to give me adequate assistance. THERE WERE 16 LATE FEES, none of which I was aware of. There were some months with 2 LATE FEES! My auto should be paid off in a few months (60 month note), but now they have added interest on top of principal and late fees. DO NOT USE CHASE AUTO LOANS!!!

After reading all these reviews over the weekend I have to admit that I was petrified of what the outcome with Chase was going to be after they repoed our vehicle on a Thursday night (3/23/2017). We had to wait til Monday before Chase could tell us what we needed to pay in order to reinstate our loan and get our vehicle back. We called at 8 am on Monday the 27th of March, we reached a representative from Chase's redemption center and they informed us that we needed to pay 1421.19 to get our car back. We were 60 days behind on our payment of 424.00 plus 174.16, so they made us pay the past due plus current month's payment to be completely caught up.
We also had to pay $390.00 as a repo charge and when I got to the repo location we had to pay an additional 200.00 in storage fees to them. It went ok, they worked with us. But I felt that a clear explanation would be nice for people in the same situation and those that may want a more clearer explanation of the process. I can assure you we will not get behind on a payment again, but Chase was more than willing to help us get our vehicle back without problems.

Purchased a 2003 Red Dodge Neon from Chase Bank; paid them off in 2011, call them now for the 4th time to get a removal of lien letter. They mailed me 2 already but neither letter has their EIN number or Tax number on them so the Department of Motor Vehicles won't accept them. Called them last week to ask for another letter with the EIN number on it. They said "We will overnight it to you." It's Friday 3/24/17 and I still don't have the letter that they said they would overnight on 3/19/17. Called them today and they suggested that I break the law and type the number on a notarized letter myself. This time they will not give me an estimate on when I will get a correct release letter. I will now be contacting a lawyer.

One year ago, in early 2016 I purchased a 2012 Infinity G25 listed at a dealership in Sante Fe, NM which had a list price of $16,000. I have bad credit and 2 repossessions on my record and so getting an auto loan is nearly impossible. The dealership spammed 22 loan companies and all of the rejected me, except for Chase Auto Finance. Chase Auto Finance wanted $3,500 down, but I settled at $3,000 down after talking on the phone with them. The dealership wrote the contract and $3,000 was listed as being paid by me - but they didn't subtract my $3,000 down payment from the $16,000 sales price, nor was any explanation given of where it went, but I was desperate and so I signed the contract without question.
One year later which is today, I called Chase Auto Finance today and they see the $3,000 listed but have no explanation of where it went from looking at their contract and they told me to call the dealership. My hunch has always been that the $3,000 was just an extortion fee for them to push my subprime loan through. I don't know if that's legal or not to be doing. I'm a 100% disabled military veteran and they knew that. My total loan amount was $16,400 including the 2% automobile tax and the $160 vehicle registration fee.

On Feb 15 (payment date) I contacted Chase to inquire the exact amount I needed to pay to bring my account current and prevent repo. Mind you this was a recorded call. The rep gave me the dollar amount and I set up the payment for the 21st when my tax return was to be direct deposited into my account. I told him the only way it wouldn't go through was if the IRS was late. Lo and behold the new legislation caused a backlog of people's returns. Mine by 2 days (48) hours. When the money posted to my account I sent the payment immediately. They accepted and acknowledged it.
Last night they repossessed my car due to delinquent payments. I was assured that I would be current thru March 15th. When I spoke with Chase today the man even said he had to check a different system to look up to see if it showed up in that system! What 2 unconnected payment systems. What kind of banking is that. I have filed an official review and have demanded the call transcripts. However, I am still without transportation and suffer from Lupus which makes walking any distance, more than a block unbearable. Thanks Chase!

AVOID CHASE AT ALL COST. TRUST ME. I decided to purchase my vehicle after my lease had ended and upon doing so, I figured my bank was the best place to go. I originally looked at a loan provider that Chrysler Capital recommended, but they had unbelievably scary reviews so I chose to avoid them. Without hesitation I went to my local Chase Bank. I have been a Chase customer for over 15 years, great credit, never missed a payment, and let's just say I am a good customer for their bottom line. None of this matter to Chase! Run!
I got my loan for my vehicle and they told me that they would send all the documents in the mail. They gave me the option of paying my sales tax out of pocket or as a part of my loan, so I chose as part of my loan. Fast forward nearly 7 months and 6 paid payments later, still had not received title information or anything else to get my plates. I called and complained to uncaring call center folk a dozen times over this period and got nothing but the runaround. "I'll reach out to the lady with the title and have her call you", "I'll send this to our escalation team", etc, etc... I heard it all. I am not sure about the legality of driving my vehicle with the previous leased tags, but they didn't expire until the 6th month of this situation. I do traveling sales, so my car is my life.
It has been nearly 7 months and my situation is still not even resolved. I finally found a manager in Chase's auto department that explained to me that this happens more frequently than he'd like to admit. So do not just take my word for it. He got my title to me within 2 business days at which time I noticed that my title had been notarized by CHASE just 6 days after I started this loan. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!! Chase employees lied to me for months telling me that Chrysler Capital had not sent the title to them yet. Then I would call Chrysler and ask them what was going on. It was all mind games and they had my title just sitting there for months.
However, the fun doesn't stop there. My tags expired because of the length this is taking, so I had to get non-renewable 45 day temporary tags that cost me $25 of my own money FOR CHASE'S MISTAKE! So, I take the title to the BMV (as instructed by Chase) and they said they cannot help me. "Go to the title agency." So I go to the title agency and they tell me that I have to pay the sales tax or they won't service my title. I told her that I financed the sales tax with my loan, at which point she told me that Chase should have sent me a check to present them.
I received no check. However, on top of that because it's been nearly 7 months since I signed for my loan... the sales tax has increased in my county. Meaning that the sales tax increased $112. Chase told me that they will not pay the difference even though this was their screw up. They told me to pay the difference out of pocket and bring the receipt back to Chase's Audit team to decide on whether I'll get a refund. Based on this companies dealings so far, I think I am going to be out of luck. It's not a money issue... it's a principle issue. I have spent SO much time away from my job making phone calls, standing in line at the BMV, Title Agency, and Chase. Time is money with a sales job. They have cost me a lot more than $137 (temp tags/change in tax).
So here I sit with 30 days left on my non-renewable temporary tags. Nothing has been resolved and I still do not have my plates. Apparently, I requested to finance my sales tax in my loan and literally 1 month after signing the loan, a PRI PAYMENT was made on my loan account in the exact total of my sales tax. No one from Chase can tell me what this PRI PAYMENT is and none of them have heard of it. They screwed up my loan, it is now back in the "REVIEW" process. I have been told to contact the attorney general office... an attorney... etc... and now I am 30 days from not having a vehicle and this even further affecting my job.
The moral of this story is AVOID CHASE when it comes to financing a loan of any kind. Remember I spoke with a manager that told me this happens more often than he'd like to admit. I do not waste my time writing reviews. I generally roll with the good and the bad and just keep trucking. However, I created this account just to write this review and hopefully prevent at least 1 person from experiencing what I am CURRENTLY going through. AVOID CHASE. You have been warned.
Also, I must mention that this is my first vehicle purchase. I normally lease all of my cars but with a 18 month old and 2nd baby on the way I decided to get rid of an expense. By the way, when I went into the Chase branch to see if they could have any influence on this, the woman was floored when I showed her the title. Apparently, I am not supposed to have the original title in my possession until AFTER I've paid the loan in full... who knew? Obviously not the Chase title department. I have a blank original title with no ownership listed. Even the Chase loan person was lost for words when she saw what they sent me and I'm only 6 months into my loan. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! Thank you for your time and God Bless!!

On Wednesday, November 30th, 2016 I was checking my car loan status with Chase after more than 3 years. I noticed that my next payment is due for July 19th, 2017! This means that any extra payments that they have been collecting is not being credited to the Principal of my loan. Instead, Chase has been depositing my extra payments to Account # ** belonging to Chase. As an example, on November 30th, 2016 this amount for my case was $2130. Chase is using my extra payments (and perhaps a million other customers') for its own interest by lending other people's money it at even higher rates to new customers. At the same time, Chase is charging me interest for the very same amount that I have already paid.
This is double dipping, neither moral nor ethical, it is downright in severe violation of Federal Laws and absolutely ILLEGAL. And, to make the situation even more illegal it is the triple dipping practice of Chase for the very same loan. Instead of being rewarded as a top rated customer for more than 31/2 years, Chase is using my excellent credit, evident from regularity of payments through online banking, to illegally collect even more interest for itself. This practice is beyond fraud as it comes close to a scam and several other violations. The Mazda Capital Services who has colluded with Chase for this loan keep informing me that the matter is under investigation! It appears that after close to three months of investigation they have not (or perhaps do not want) this matter solved. They prefer to use their power to send it to a black hole.

I have had problems for the entirety of the 4 years when I financed my car with Chase. Payments mysteriously were returned, denied or went missing, despite my having spoken countless times to customer service and ensuring my banking information was correct. This last time resulted in the repossession of my car. For 3 months I had the payments on auto pay, and when the same issues arose with my account, Chase neglected to contact me. When I did call to ensure I was up to date, I was told my car was up for repossession. When I confirmed my banking information with them AGAIN, I contacted my bank, who informed me that Chase made no effort to collect a payment in that time frame. Still, Chase decided it was my fault and will not allow me to reinstate the loan. As a consequence I have now lost a lucrative job opportunity and may lose my current job as well.

I recently purchased a Subaru and elected financing through Subaru at Chase. The actual payment is around $450 and every month I pay $600, specifically checking the box requesting a principal reduction. First payment went off without a hitch. Second payment reduced the amount of the required payment rather than reducing the principal. Talked with someone at Chase and was advised that the overpayment would be applied to the principal as requested. Went on to make the next payment, noted in writing on the coupon to make sure that the overage was applied to the principal. Received a call today from Chase indicating that the payment was five days late although I had the verification of the check having been negotiated more than a week ago. Again the payment had been received but misapplied. Also the representative was trying to defend their error, and telling me to get my life in order. What a joke this is.

Chase Auto Finance wrongfully repossessed our car. We have four accounts with Chase - two auto loans (Mazda) and two credit cards. All are paid from one bank account. Since the beginning, they have had issues with recurring payments. Sometimes they'd double charge me. Other times, I'd receive a "thank you for your payment" email only to then see on an account page that the account was past due. We have NEVER received correspondence from them about an account delinquency, but their claim is that we are 95 days delinquent on one car payment. Meanwhile, our account showed that we were up to date, and we have bank statements from Bank of America showing money being transferred to Chase. Our other accounts are all up to date and also reflect that online.
We got home from a weekend away to find our car gone. We called the police - we figured it had clearly been stolen. My husband had the idea that we should call Chase, which I did immediately after calling the police. Yup, they'd repossessed our car. Our online statement at that point was still saying paid/up to date and we had received no phone call, email, contact through Chase Online, or mail regarding this account. I should mention that we HAVE received calls/emails/mail regarding other Chase accounts, so it's not that they don't have our correct information. We were in no way notified that not only were we "delinquent", but that our car would be repossessed. There was no notification even after it happened.
Chase will NOT accept bank statements as proof that we have paid. They say "every other customer who has an issue can get a different document that shows a check was cashed." Um, we didn't pay by check - we paid through CHASE'S own online system. The best part? When I called to find out if they had taken our car (from my landline) I was using my cell phone to look up our online account, which showed we were up to date on payments. Midway through the call, we were locked out of our account. I had to conference in my husband the following day so that they could "unlock" our account - only to have them tell us that our account showed that we had NEVER paid for ANYTHING.
I have been dealing primarily with Natalia and she has at least been courteous. But it's now been 9 days since our car has been repossessed and there is no resolution. I've tried calling her for the last 4 days but she has not been in. Every other representative has been rude, condescending, and absolutely, unfathomably unknowledgeable and unhelpful. I have requested to speak to a supervisor no fewer than five times and have received no callback, ever.
My proposed resolution on day one was to pay whatever they "thought" we owed (even though this would clearly be a double payment) so that our account showed as up to date and we could get our car back while the company investigated what they did wrong on their end. They refused, and said if we wanted the car back we had to pay all the repossession fees and BUY THE CAR OUTRIGHT. I'm sorry, but we are two individuals working in nonprofits and don't have an extra $20k lying around for that purpose.
As of today this issue is not resolved. I have told everyone I know not to use Chase and have actually already had five friends cancel credit cards through Chase. After this is resolved we will be working with Mazda to see if we can get out of our leases so as not to work with Chase any longer. And if I have the wherewithal after the significant stress this has caused me, I'll be pursuing legal action against Chase. Whatever you do, do NOT finance your car through Chase, get a credit card through them, or use them in any way, shape, or form. Tell your friends. This is the worst company imaginable and their business practices are shady at best and illegal at worst.

I leased a Subaru for 3 years and then decided to buy the car outright. I sent Chase a check for the payoff amount as well as all requested paperwork, and then waited for my title. A week later I saw that the check had cleared, but the title never showed up. I called Chase, and they informed me that there was a problem with the Odometer statement - apparently someone checked a box stating that I exceeded the leased mileage. I only drove the car 6,000 miles and the lease was for 30,000, so clearly this was a mistake. Note that no one ever called me about this; I only found out once I called them.
I've been informed that they will not release the title until this is cleared up. I asked them to prove that the overage box was checked. They refused. I asked them to email me another form. Nope, they won't do that either (but they will fax it, in 2016. Seriously?). They told me to write a letter to them, and I wrote what they told me verbatim. I faxed the letter from work, only for them to tell me they can't accept it. Remember, they told me what to write. So here we are, 2 weeks later. They have my money, and they will not release my title. I've requested supervisor callbacks, only to never have my phone calls returned. Do not ever, ever deal with Chase. In fact, I'm calling Amazon now to tell them my experience and cancel my Amazon card since it is through Chase bank. This company is awful.

Ok, understand that, so will you send the quotes so I can process the paperwork for the buyouts or lease? "No we do not have email and can receive them or send them." How will I get a quote? "Call us." (and spend another hour on the phone being transferred around). I say we have them get all of the vehicle and we use another leasing company and get other vehicles so we do not have to deal with Chase Bank, JP Morgan and Chase Finance. Lost a lot of customers. Chase auto took $871.97 for my first payment. Trouble is, my car payment was only $571.97. They were able to take the money in ten seconds, but returning it is something that they refuse to do. It has been an entire week, and I have no money. My account is overdrawn, and it is directly because of Chase. I'm not upset that that error occurred. Mistakes happen. I am upset because I still do not have the money back and they are completely unwilling to expedite the situation. Imagine the financial hardship you would be in if the entire balance of your bank account was taken, and you had other financial obligations that hadn't gone through. Imagine now that you could not buy food or gas, and now you were late on your phone bill because of this. Now imagine that the person or persons responsible just shrugged their shoulders instead of getting on the ball and correcting the issue. I am furious. Do NOT do business with Chase Auto Financing.

I've never had to deal with Chase Auto's customer service reps until my last payment on my car and it was a horrible experience. I mailed in my final car payment via check. Since I was enrolled in Chase's automatic monthly payments, I called to make sure that was cancelled since the car was now paid off. I was still charged my monthly payment! I was bounced around to various representatives for about an hour and none of them seemed to understand my problem. They kept saying on their side, they could only see the check I sent in but that I wasn't charged aside from that. I literally had my bank statement in front of me telling them I was charged twice in a month for my final car payment.
I left the conversation on a conference call with two representatives who were talking in circles. I'm not even sure if the problem is resolved. All I wanted to do was make sure I was getting reimbursed for that monthly charge that should not have been withdrawn and to cancel my automatic monthly payments from here on out. I have no idea why that was so difficult. One representative had a huge attitude the entire time. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she ignored my request. When I asked to get an email confirmation regarding them closing my account/automatic payments, they said they can't do that. It really seems like they need to get more training in customer service and to be more knowledgeable in assisting clients. Fingers crossed I get reimbursed.

Once I called back the 40+ minute conversation was a disaster. I began with a woman BJ (**) who took the card info, not asking the name on the card or if the address was the same as on the account. After is given the info skew then realized, after two failed attempts, my account was "locked". This caused her to put me on hold for over 10 minutes while apparently getting a David (**) on the phone.
These two people consistently got my name wrong along with another on my account. The customer service was the worst I've ever encountered and they still couldn't take the payment close to an hour on the phone. As of today August 17th, I spoke to a terrific customer service rep, who's name I didn't get, get number is (**) and only took 5 monies to complete my transaction. I've contact Chase Jaguar Financial Group Military Service section for over a month in reference to needing a letter to have the Air Force place my vehicle in storage since I am being reassigned to Japan and the Air Force contractor requires a letter from the lien holder on their letterhead stating that the vehicle is not in process of repossession and that they are aware that the vehicle is being stored. I've explained this to not one, but 3 representatives when I phone Chase and each have lied and said that the letter would be mailed out the following day. It has been a month and I am due to fly out of the country in a week from today and I still have not receive this letter even after speaking with the last representative on 5 days ago and explaining to him that I had to have the letter by today which is Friday for my appointment to store the vehicle is on Monday and I had to drive 6 hours to the appointment.
He flat out lied and said that he was typing the letter and even went so far as to as me questions as if he was asking for information to place in the letter and he stated that the letter would be "rushed out" that day. Well, it is 5 days later and I have not received the letter and when I phone today I spoke with a female who looked in my "file" and she did not see that the letter I required was accomplished but there were instructions in my file on the process on how to request such letter. So why after speaking with 3 different representatives previously they all lied that the letter would be sent out immediately if they had no intentions on sending a simple letter stating what is required by the storage facility contractor. Either they are lazy as hell or the company has a policy of lying to its customers.
Either way, I will not do business ever again with Chase and I am going to inform the Base Legal Office so they can inform other military members to stay away from Chase Bank. I am taking my vehicle to the storage facility on Monday and I will be calling Chase from there and someone is going to fax me a letter or I will be filing a lawsuit against this company. Their customer service is horrible and if this is how they treat military members who are on orders to be reassigned, I can imagine how they treat other customers. My stress level has been elevate to the extreme in the past week because of this company and their sorry representatives.

Started the process in March 2016, of course there were some papers I had to sign for TX before they'd issue anything. The TX paperwork was completed by the end of May. Every 30 days I have to contact Chase to get them off the dime and they say it's on the way. I Signed and returned the last set of documents 06/09/16 and haven't heard back. Every few months an extra charge of just over $100 shows up and all of the sudden Chase says they are coming for our car. We call and ask where the charge came from and no one knows EVERY SINGLE TIME. It goes to review, the "review people" have no idea what the extra charge is for. They send us a statement for us to review showing all of our on time charges then just as soon as we are threatened with repo they leave us alone again and say we don't owe the mystery fee. Then a few months later we go through the same thing.
I'm so sick of having to call and have the person on the phone argue with me that they don't care that I'm looking at my bank statements that say we paid Chase Auto with a payment option through THEIR website because they don't see it on their system. Sometimes I just want to give them the car and be done with them.

Nobody called me and when I called them later that day another person told me that they weren't doing any outbound calls because they were too busy. Nearly every time I called, the wait time was 30 min - 1 hr long! The dealership also had to fax over information which they did promptly.
When I called a couple hours later they told me it was not received, but I called again another hour later and it had been received. Due to it being just after 5pm, the DMV was closed and they couldn't move forward with the process. They are very incompetent and you have to do their job for them (calling them multiple times instead of them following up with you). So I went back on their website and set it up again. I did do the bank verification process that their website requires.
I called them when the second payment did not take. Their online payment/technical person walked me thru the steps. Everything seemed to look good on my end, the online/technical person stated that things were good and that there would be no more problems with the payments occurring automatically. Chase's credit department called today, 1/7/16 to tell us that we are 2 months past due. So the payments are still not occurring. We made one months payment and plan to come up with the 2nd months payment. But, we were informed that Chase will probably be reporting a negative report on our credit. I don't post this because their website is not functioning properly, I am posting this because they will unjustly report us to the credit bureaus. Will never use them again for anything.

Anyhow I got a statement from Chase. I never intended to take 5 years to pay so I always pay more than due. After several phone calls to reps at Chase, notes on checks for extra $ to go towards principal balance, my request was never honored. Interest was always taken out of payments even with the request to go towards principal balance. Long story short I could never speak with a manager, the reps could never put notes on my account. Luckily I was in a situation to pay off the car and get out from under Chase Bank. Bottom line Chase cheats people everyday.
Chase uses any tactic to get as much interest/raise rates for no reason. Be careful not to get stuck. This is coming from a person with many years of financial experience and 800+ credit score. I have worked with numerous banks both personal and business relationships. Have never experienced such disrespect as I have with Chase. We called in February 2015 to get a payoff and we went into the branch and made the payoff to the penny IN CASH! We were given a letter that it was paid off, so we went to the DMV and transferred the car into my name.
In February, they sent to the credit bureau that we had 18 months IN A ROW delinquent on the account (which was not true or they would have repossessed the car) so we complained to Chase and the credit bureau and had that fixed. They in August when the title had not arrived, Benjamin checked his credit and saw that there was a $452 balance on the account and it had been hitting his and his father’s credit all that time. So he called Chase and they refused to correct it even after they realized they had misplaced a payment (placing someone else's payment on our account and giving us an incorrect payoff).

He told me the only way I was able to get the car back was to pay the loan in full. He also stated that I was notified in writing via Fed Express that they were going to repo my car. I never received such a letter, and that I had bounced a check for October and that was part of the reason they repoed my car. When I said it wasn't true he got nasty and he wouldn't consider me getting the car back with the due payments. He suggested I speak to a supervisor to make an exception because he didn't have the authority to do so. I called later that day and asked what my options were. "Pay the full balance." My aunt went into a Chase branch and made the full payment via personal check. When she asked the bank teller if she needed a certified check he told her a personal check was fine.
The redemption department did not accept that. Their argument was it had to be Western Union, MoneyGram or wire transfer. When asked how I was able to fix this so that I was able to get my car back they suggested my aunts bank fax over on letter head stating the funds were available. The next day 7/20 me and my aunt's bank called in. He stated due to the bank's security policy he could only do a verbal. The redemption department didn't accept that. My aunt's bank had tried to stop the personal check so we could issue a certified check. The funds were already paid so we couldn't do that. I then called Chase Auto loan customer service. They said the check had cleared and the title and release of the lien was mailed out to me that same day.
I called back to the redemption department and got Lane on the phone again. He told me that wasn't true and the only title that was being process was for auction. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and a rep named Chris got on the phone and told me that I could not get the car back even if I had the title or the release of the lien in my hand. I called again on 7/21 to find out if they would release my vehicle again and they told me no. They needed proof from my aunt's bank that the check would not be stopped. I called my aunt's bank again and they faxed over a copy of the check with the stamp of the bank and his business card with another verbal agreement that the check would not be stopped. I was told that wasn't good enough. I would need verification from the Chase branch the check was deposited at by a rep named Aris id# **.
She then started rehashing to me their policy and that even though the account was closed and the funds were processed I was not able to get my car back. I got very upset and asked to speak to someone higher to her. Then a rep named Marcus id# ** got on the phone and said I would not be getting my car back for ten days till they process the payment. I mentioned the account was closed and paid again. He then said he would call me back to see if there was anyway he could speed up the process. I never received a call back from him.
I also contacted the Chase branch where the payment was made and spoke to the branch manager. He said he would find out about it and call me back by 6 pm with good or bad news again. The manager called me at 6:05 pm and said he was on the phone with the redemption department for almost two hours and could not get any answers. He told me I would hear from him the next day and he also verified the account was paid in full and closed. I was also never called back from the redemption department.

Over the past 14 months we were able to increase our credit score because of our payment history with them. This month we traded in that car and purchased another with a much lower interest rate. Thank you Chase.

I was a Chase Auto Finance customer for 6 years. In Feb of 2015, I paid off my vehicle and requested my title. I never received my title and subsequent phone calls only got me certified letters confirming that I did, indeed, pay off the car and then telling me to take said letters to the DMV and have them release my title. After getting all the required documents that the DMV requested, I was told that I had to pay $156.00 dollars. $78.00 for the missing title (that I never received in the first place), and an additional $78.00 for a new title (that I should have received for free to begin with). Now $156.00 might not seem like a lot of money to some of you, but it's $156.00 that I should have never had to pay to begin with. I will NEVER finance another auto through Chase... EVER.

I paid 3700 dollars down on a 10000 dollar car to with them with a 48-month payment plan to pay the rest and interest. My payments were 223.40 and I paid the first 15 months with no problems. However after giving birth my baby and I both became sick and I was making payments as much as I could but couldn't seem to stay caught up after falling behind four months. They repoed my car the morning of my birthday. I spent two days trying to locate it and was having trouble, finally I got in touch with Chase and they informed me my only option was to pay it off in full but could not give me a payoff amount. I expressed I didn't think I could manage to pay it off in full and they told me there was nothing they could do. I then waited for a notice from them or a call but never heard back. Finally I called them because I've seen my credit report get hit with the charge off.
When I contacted them again I was told my car was already sold and I was credited $980. When I questioned why I never received notice they didn't have an answer and I asked why they sold it so cheap when I was more than willing to try and work something out so my kids and I could have a vehicle. I then requested a payment history from them which is incorrect because I have confirmation numbers that prove I paid more and I also requested proof of repossession and resale for my records which I still never received. I understand I got behind on my payments but they were wrong for not properly giving written notices and for selling my vehicle for $980 when according to fair market value a personal sale estimated at lowest 6120, a dealership sale estimated at 8267-11000.

Fast forward (car was repossessed). After several conversations from January 23, 2015 until today, I was under the impression that after they sold my car at auction that I was getting a refund. In fact, one of the conversations the woman actually told me the amount of the refund and the date it was cut but it was never mailed. So as of today, March 12, 2015, I talked to two other gentlemen who state that I will not be receiving a refund check. The first gentleman told me that because I live in Massachusetts, they do not issue refunds on the fair market value of the car. Does that make sense???
I then asked to speak to a supervisor and he tells me that the car sold for less than what I owed so that was credited to my account. I then asked, "Does that mean I owe money?" He said, "No, I need to have someone from the credit department call you and explain this to you." I then asked, "What did the car sell for?" Again, he said, "I need to have someone from the credit department call you." I was so upset, confused, and angry that I hung up on him.

Where do I begin?! I'm beyond annoyed with this company! I purchased a vehicle about 2 years ago. Never missed a payment up until about 3 months ago due to layoffs in Atlantic City NJ. I called Chase to let them know of my situation. They told me there was nothing they could do and requested I borrow the money from somewhere. Needless to say I'm pissed they suggested I find the money. January 2015 - my vehicle was repossessed. I was able to get the car back the following month after I paid off the loan. I went to a auction place where the vehicle was to be sold. Chase told me I needed to get my tags from the repo company. After doing all that I realized the vehicle needed to be inspected and re-registered.
Everything went through just fine up until a few days ago - I get pulled over!!!! Officer tells me my tags aren't on file. I immediately go to the Dmv with my registration and the lien release form. The Dmv tells me the title is no longer in my name as of March 4, 2015..... WTH! They told me I would have to call Chase to get the title before I could do anything. Called Chase today to get absolutely nowhere with these people!!! Ughhhh! They took me completely off the vehicle even after paying the vehicle off!!!
It's been almost a month since the car has been in my possession and Chase failed to tell me my tags wouldn't be good!!! But they're quick to take your money and harass you all day for payment! I have been a customer of Chase Auto finance for several years for two different vehicle loans. I've never missed a single car payment. I made an automated payment over the phone which for some reason never went through. I never received a call nor email about missing a payment. It wasn't until I was making the next month's payment when I realized my last payment never went through. I made a double payment immediately. I had called chase about it and the rep said they had nothing in their system. And he said it had been reported to the credit agencies of being delinquent 30 days. I asked why I never received any notice. He said he was not authorized to call the contact number I had provided nor were they obligated to notify me. He said I should have realized the funds weren't taken out of my account.
Mind you it usually takes them 13 days to pull funds out. He was rude and condescending. I asked to speak to a supervisor about it. He was twice as rude and said that it's not their fault and I should learn to pay my bills on time. I couldn't believe how blatantly disrespectful he was. I told him I did make the payment and if there could have been a glitch in their automated system or maybe even a user error. That's still not enough reason to damage my credit and be treated this way after having a perfect track record. They know nothing or empathy for customers.

I purchased my auto in 2008. Being an informed consumer advocate, I told the finance manager I would not pay for dealer add-ons, gap insurance, documentation fees, extended warranties, etc. The dealer gave me a great deal whereby even though the auto stickered for almost $20,000 they sold it to me for $14,500 and gave me $500.00 for my trade, which with 220,000 miles was Kelley blue book valuation only worth $87.00! The dealer arranged financing with Chase Auto Finance at the same rate as the best quotes from banks. So far, so good.
However, I ran into some financial difficulties when on disability due to a serious accident at work. I would pay when I could, but occasionally would be one or two months late. I would receive incessant phone calls from Chase. The calls would include such absurd "suggestions"such as borrowing money from neighbors, borrowing funds from relatives, having a yard sale, donating blood or plasma, and liquidating savings or 401K. Finally, when they would call, I would stave them off of the pass, telling them, "Look I cannot hold a yard sale"...all of things they "suggested".
Fortunately, I have been blessed by matters I cannot legally discussed, to be able to pay off my auto. I was disappointed that Chase works by the "law of 78s", where the interest is applied first, then the principal. This would work against many people should they attempt to trade their car in way before the note was satisfied. I plan to keep my amazing auto for many, many years. But, be forewarned to check the financing terms in detail. Double check everything and don't let dealers or financial institutions take advantage of you. Be informed and let the firms know it from the outset!

My husband and I had an auto lease with Chase that was to conclude on June 16th, 2014. My husband called to get the buyout amount, because we decided to purchase the vehicle, and mailed (uncertified, our mistake) a check. Without any notification either by USPS, email or phone, my husband placed a call to see why we hadn't received the title yet. Allegedly, the check had not been received by Chase; therefore the title was not released. To note, the check was not returned or cleared the bank. Therefore, we placed a hold on the check. Our next option was to wire the payoff amount. It took approximately 2 weeks of back and forth phone calls to get the information in order to send the wire. The wire bounced back! After countless phone calls to the “Loan Specialists”, a second wire was sent and took 4 business days for them to post.
Our loan is now paid off and we are awaiting the title. However, when we questioned the “loan specialists” as to why we never received a phone call, or a paper statement, or an email they stated there were multiple attempts at trying to contact us via the phone but no one answered and they, by law, aren't allowed to leave a message. They had no excuse when asked why they didn't send a statement to notify us. Therefore, they stated because they never received payoff they rolled the lease over and we needed to pay the 2 months (July & August) that were delinquent. Again, we never received any paper statement after the final payment in June. When we finally paid off the vehicle, we had to include the additional 2 months payments in the total stating that it was our responsibility to have the car paid off. When my husband spoke to them 2 days ago, the logged showed that my husband was the one that was in constant communication with them to get this resolved.

I am on my last payment which they had the nerve to call me today and say my account was 39 days past due and that with the payment of 500.00 I sent would not get me current and if I could borrow the money from someone. I went off of them and told them I didn't care if my payment was late because in all reality if they would find my lost money order that they applied to someone else's account for 230.00 that I would be current.
And then they had the nerve to say that interest was being added for all late payments, I answered with "well what kind of interest should I charge you for the last 2 years of you all losing my money order." I know you all will not look for it and correct all the interest you have been screwing for the last 2 years. The lady did not have anything to say. She wanted the money order number which I told them then I did not have, my fault for not keeping it but I had them sign for my letter. So I knew they had picked it up and what time they had picked it up. I also told the lady that I am totally surprised that during your AUDIT that you guys did not find your screw up. But what else was new.
I told them today I was thankful that they called me to remind me to file a complaint with the BBB and I would never purchases anything with Chase auto again and that I would be telling friends and family how awful they are. I also said that I was not going to fax any more information to them because in 2012 I faxed all the information about all 3 money orders about 5 times and that they still could not get their ** together and that I was done trying to talk to them. The bottom line, I think that the employees are underpaid, under-trained, under-qualified and under-staffed. When you call with a problem, all they do is transfer you. Background - CHASE Auto Finance is Lien holder of my car. I leased the car in 2010; on August 1, 2013 I bought the car when lease had ended. I now am trying to sell the car. I have a buyer who has been approved for a loan and is waiting to purchase. 3/29/14 - Went to local CHASE branch with a buyer who had check in hand to purchase vehicle I have for sale. We were told by the CHASE rep. that the title was not able to be located. That he sent in a request to DMV for research on the title and call later in the week for an update. He could not provide us with a time frame when the title would be available. Buyer decided to hold off on purchase until title is located and research is completed.
4/15/14 - Called numerous times since my first visit but never received any useful information on title. Went into local branch. First time I spoke with anyone who was helpful. She was still unable to give me any time frame but did show me a copy of the title that she had faxed from headquarter. It was from my lease. It had never been transferred from lease to buy. I was told that it was held up because I had a co-signer on title and now the loan was only in my name but they had not received proper paperwork. I showed her my copy of paperwork from dealership with only my name on it and co-sign N/A. All of these changes had been made back on August 1, 2013. 8+ months ago. I left the branch with the information above and that I would receive a call later in the week.
4/17/14 - Today I received that call from a CHASE rep. (This is the first time someone has reached out to me.) I was told the hold up is at the DMV. (Note - I moved out of state a couple years ago. Took this vehicle and registered in FL. When I purchased on August 1, 2013 it was registered back to CA.) The CHASE rep. said there is a hold up between DMV's. From what I understand CA will not release title until FL releases something. She could not give me a time frame in which the title will be released from DMV, but will call me back next week with more information.
If thinking of using CHASE Auto Finance now or in the future, I would highly recommend that you do not. I do not trust this company. What they are doing here should be illegal. I am in fear of losing my buyer, and losing value on my vehicle in the amount of time this is taking. All while still being forced to make payments. I contacted Chase, and was told they sent it out about 3 weeks prior. Chase had no tracking information for the correspondence either!!! That is hard to believe when you consider how important this document is - it's a VEHICLE TITLE.
We then had to request a duplicate title from the California DMV - through Chase Auto Finance. We did this on August 27. I faxed the request as per the instructions from Chase. I checked on the status twice. The last time was last week. I was told that it was mailed on November 1. Once again, no tracking information. Once again we have not received the car title. Today I called to get the loan payoff as this month should have been my last month of payments. Chase has sent letters to this address for the last 2 years and every other time I've contacted them, they have had no problems confirming my information. So the first rep transferred me to another rep.
She was even more incompetent. After providing her all the information, she stated what I was telling her was incorrect and I would have to send them a letter requesting my payoff information. Today is October 16th, payment due October 21st. I told her she needed to transfer me to someone else, as I was not going to be charged late fees because of her incompetence in being able to confirm I am who I say I am. She asked the dealership I bought the car at (not sure what difference this would make) but also said that information was incorrect. After confirming the year, make and model, she finally transferred me to someone else, who quoted me a payoff twice what I was expecting.
This 3rd rep had NO customer service skills at all and promptly transferred me to a 4th rep to explain why the balance was so high. After finally working out what my final 2 payments would be, I told the 4th rep I talked to that I never wanted to call them back because of the experience I had with the first two reps telling me my address was incorrect, etc and she was not the least bit concerned. I will never accept an auto loan with Chase Auto Finance.

Then every month, we continued to receive a phone call shortly after the due date telling us that they did not receive the payment in the mail. As a result, we started wiring the payment every month via MoneyGram. It was easier to do this, plus we would get a confirmation number of payment. We would call in this confirmation number to the representative every month. We would leave her voice mails and if we were lucky, she might call back a week or two later.
Then in October 2012, we paid 3-4 months at once, thinking it would take us through until the first of the year so that we didn't have to worry about the payment during the Holidays. In February, they send a Repo man to our house. We explained everything to him and he left. We then called Chase that night and found out that they hadn't posted 2 or 3 of our payments. They then told us that they had it corrected, but we still owed $1,000 for being one month behind on a $350 a month payment. We made our March payment. In April and May, we paid $450 each month to try to take care of the one month that we missed. We missed that month because of our error.
Here were are at the end of May and they called yesterday and said to my wife's mom, "We'll break the door down to get the Jeep and if they don't turn it over, you'll be arrested." My wife went to the local Police Department and they called the person that said this. The lady didn't believe the officer that he was an officer even after giving his badge number, phone number, and name. My 14-year old son comes home from school and there is a guy standing down the street from our house. My son went into the house and got a couple of things to go to a friend’s house. When he left the house, the guy followed him and started asking him questions. He even said "He was Chase Bank..." This guy also had told one of our neighbor's sisters the same thing.
The guy followed my son until my son was able to lose him. He called my wife and she called the police. The guy was escorted away from our house and back to his vehicle. He told my son he needed a ride home. That night we went to a car dealership to see about getting into something else, which this dealer is getting us away from Chase. They pulled our credit report and it said that the loan was "charged off" in April of 2013, yet they accepted our payment in April and May 2013 and that we had only made 1 payment. My advice to everybody is to STAY AWAY FROM CHASE BANK!!! I will be delivering the Jeep to a yet unnamed location this weekend as I am picking up a different vehicle on Friday night.

Chase Auto Finance failed to report the uncashed check they sent me, due to my overpayment, to the State of Wisconsin after five years per the state statutes listed. State statutes explain that 18% annual penalty is due the administrator if the sum is not reported in the five year window. It has now been ten years and Chase Auto Finance just reported it to the State. Therefore, Chase Auto Finance should pay me the compounded interest on the $501.93. This totals an additional $646.36. It has been two weeks and I still await a reply from them. Has anyone else experienced this scenario?

I purchased my car in 2/2013. I put down 3700 to get the car. At the time, I wasn't planning on moving from my primary residents but decided to move because of mold growing in the house and my landlord refused to fix the problem. On top of that, my sales job commissions went down because of construction in front of the store. So long story short, I had a string of bad luck right after I got the car. I was late for 54 days and never received a letter of intent to repossess my car or a phone call maybe because they had the wrong number. Well, they towed the car. I called the redemption department to try and get the car back and pay the balance. They informed me that the past due would not satisfy and I had to pay the whole balance in full. I informed Chase that I could not afford to pay that and that they would be destroying what was left of my credit. They did not care and told me it's my problem. Never, never again.

My first auto loan payment was due on 2/11/2013. I sent Chase a check for $29,000 which arrived on 2/9/2013 and was posted by Chase on 2/11/2013. In the past 18 days, I have received 2 letters and conducted 2 phone calls because Chase said that no payment had been received and a $17.97 late fee had been assessed. How can this be? In this case, Chase's rules of handling & managing financial transactions make no economic sense. It appears the goal is to maximize revenue from the enforcement of fees. Yesterday, I made my final payment, which included the late fee because the Chase online payment options would not authorize or allow any lesser amount. I will be canceling all my financial connections with Chase.

We walked foolishly into this transaction with Chase out of desperation of needing a car. We were not coaxed nor talked into it. We were persuaded by the cost of replacing the transmission in the vehicle we had. We should never have made this decision as quickly as we did. It was our fault, end of that chapter. I will also not blame Chase for the financial bind we put ourselves into. However, I do feel they take advantage of people with the type of loans they make and the interest they charge. But again, if we had not been so desperate, thinking this was our only option, we wouldn't have signed the papers and I would not be writing this letter, our fault again for not paying enough attention.
Where I do find fault with Chase is in the way they do business. But I guess this is the way corporations do business these days. As long as companies like Chase can distance themselves from the individual customer, they can be uncaring and cold in their practices. I am not asking for special treatment, don't get me wrong. I have a responsibility and I want to own up to it, but look at me as an individual. Look at my past performance. Understand that I may have a problem and run into a hiccup in my finances. Oh, when the customer service rep is on the phone with you, you are made to feel like you are so very important and they have a strong desire to help you. What one does not realize in that moment, that the main goal is to sugar coat the fact that while they are helping you, they are only thinking to get through this phone call and on to the next deadbeat who does not pay their bills on time. In helping, they suggest various sorts of ways, down to borrowing money from your neighbor. The ultimate "let us help you" I got last year was to defer two months' payments. This way we avoid annoying phone calls and you can get caught up and start fresh in two months. Great, thank you - for nothing.
January rolled around and the process of trying to purchase a home began. It was yet another assembly of flaming hoops to jump through, but that is another story. Chase had reported not the two actual (which I am not proud of) months past 30 days, but rather four consecutive months. I was told that Chase only showed two when I called three times in one week. When I called the fourth time, the following week, I finally reached someone who walked through the payment history with me, after being told by the three previous employees they can't see the history, only that two payments had been late. Hmm, are they lazy or just untrained?
As we walked through the history, yes, two payments, May and July were late. And yes, there is reason, which I explained each and every time to every person I talked to at Chase in those months which I was desperately trying to keep our finances afloat, not that they bother to make note of that. It's better to have the customer repeat over and over the struggle. I digress. Ms. ** explained to me that she will personally take care of this error in reporting to the credit bureaus (which I might add were not all reporting the same information) and request that it be corrected and that I would also receive a letter that I could give to the lender for the mortgage.
I waited patiently for two weeks to get said letter. When I got it, it was a form letter that indicated after researching the account, what was reported was indeed accurate and therefore no changes would be made in to the credit bureaus. Nicely played Chase, nicely played. Upon speaking with an overly cheery Rosie Something-or-Other, who made me feel like the Steve Martin character from Planes, Trains and Automobiles, you know the scene, and being on hold for over 5 minutes, she came back to unnecessarily go over the history with me three more times, then told me she needed to research this info and I could either hold a few more minutes or she could call me back.
I told her I would call Ms. **, which I did, who also put me on hold for about 9 minutes only to return and offer the same deal Rosie had. At that point, I informed her that no, I needed to pick up a kid from school then my husband from work. Why? It is because two weeks ago, we were in a four-car collision resulting in his car being totaled and we are now down to one car and yes, I interjected with how badly I wished it had been the Malibu call me back which she did, leaving a message with the term rolling delinquencies, meaning we are basically screwed, because Chase has determined that while May was late, it is not reported as such. June was late but not past 30 days, but because May was past 30 days, June had (yes, had) to be reported as delinquent. Because July and August were paid in a double payment, August not being 30 days late, they both had to be reported as delinquent. September, which was deferred (and they try to tell me every time that only October was deferred until I insist they check the record and only then do they see that it was September and October both) for some asinine reason, is also reported delinquent. No payment was due, but it is accurately reported delinquent.
Ms. ** did seem genuinely sorry that she had misinformed me about correcting the error two weeks ago, but there was nothing she could do for me further. She told me it does not make sense to her either and that it took quite a bit of explaining for her to understand what rolling delinquencies meant, which she was unable to restate other than to repeat how it was reported, not why it was reported this way. Somehow, that all seems fair and accurate to Chase and I'm guessing to the credit bureaus as well.
So, thank you, Chase, for your cold and uncaring attitude toward your customers. I know I am not alone, as I publicly announce my intense loathing of your company; I am comforted in a rather twisted way to know others are treated as poorly as I have been. I am one person, but I will use my voice. Anywhere and everywhere I can get the word out as to your horrible business nature, I will.

I purchased a used Suzuki Kizashi in October of 2012, and the dealer facilitated with the obtaining of a loan through JP Morgan Chase. When I received the loan documentation in the mail, I went to establish my online bill pay account at the Chase website. That's when I first noticed that there was an issue with my account. In order to set up online bill pay, you need both the account number and Social Security number associated with the loan. Every time I imputed my Social Security number, it said it did not match my account.
Needless to say, I was very concerned so I called Chase. They confirmed that the Social Security number was not mine on the account. In fact, it wasn't even close. After I informed them of the issue, they assured me that they would resolve it and notify via mail when everything was correct. About a month goes by and I get a call from Chase collections department demanding that I pay. I attempted to explain my issue and they have no record of my previous call. They continued to demand that I pay, even though the contract was incorrect. I refused stating that until they correct my contract to reflect that I actually owned the car. There was no way they would get any money from me. They transferred me to a supervisor, and he and I went over the account. He had me fax in a copy of my driver's license, Social Security card, military ID and passport and assured me again that everything would be resolved.
About two weeks later, I get a message from Chase saying that they needed me to go to my dealership and have them resend the loan contract, which they claimed they have never received. I called Chase, and it turned out that they also have lost all the documentation I had faxed them earlier. So I'm back to square one. All the while, they are encouraging me to make payments and accessing late fees. I was relocated after three weeks of my car purchase in South Carolina to upstate New York, so I was definitely unable to physically go to my dealership. I called my dealership and they confirmed that they had the correct Social Security number on their contract. I decided to put together a conference call between my dealership and the Chase representative who was assisting me. I got them both on the line and the dealer faxed them a copy of the contract, about which the representative then assured me would be enough to resolve the issue.
I waited about two weeks and then called back the representative, but she no longer answered the direct line she gave me. I figured that everything should be on track and I waited for the mail confirmation to come in stating my issue has been resolved. Fast forward to today where I get a severely overdo collections letter from Chase stating that they will soon have to resort to drastic action. This is after all the representatives I spoke with assured me that no payments would be required as the account was in review (although they all still encouraged me to pay anyways). I called the Chase collections department and they are clueless. They said that since I changed my Social Security number (I didn't), I have to go to the Social Security office and have them send confirmation of the change. They stated the only other option is voluntary repossession of the vehicle, which is ludicrous.
I am an active duty member of the United States Navy. I currently work a 7 day, 12 hour a day, rotating shift work. I do not have time to jump through any more hoops for Chase Bank. What upsets me the most is that they act like the entire situation is my fault, when clearly it is with their system. There have been no apologies, no attempt to improve the situation and defiantly no communication. If I could transfer the loan away from Chase, I would; but since the Social is wrong, I can't. I'm trapped and I want out.

The amount I was told is higher than the actual amount owed on the car. I asked why and how that is. I was informed because of the type of loan I have, I get charged interest daily, so when I paid the car off, they added the interest from the date of the last payment. Isn't that the purpose of a payoff to stop the interest? I'll never do business with Chase again. What scammers!

I am having the same problems with automated payments. I made payments the same way for 2 years with no problems, but last month, I made a payment a few days before it was due. Five days later, it was not withdrawn from my acct. I called Chase. They said I have to wait 10-14 business days to find out why. I called my bank and they said no payment was ever attempted. Finally, after 14 business days, I received a letter stating to pay an additional $20 for a return check fee with my payment. I called Chase. They said I must have entered the bank acct. info wrong, so I said no problem. I gave the representative payment. Then on my Oct. payment due, I made an automated payment with the additional $20 and made my sister listen on the other end of the phone to make sure I entered correctly, because something about this was shady and not sitting with me.
Every representative I spoke to at Chase had different information and everyone just tried to rush me off the phone (did not want to resolve because they had no answers). Now, it is 8 days later. No payment has been withdrawn from my bank acct. again. I called Chase again and they are once again telling me I have to wait. I spoke to the Payment dept. and told them I will not pay an additional fee again for their incompetency. The rep basically told me, sorry, I have to wait. They have no answers, cannot help you, don't care what happens. So at this point, I told them I will wait a few more days for payment to post and if the same problem happens and they have the audacity to charge me again, I will contact my lawyer, consumer affairs, and any other authority that I have to until I get the results that is so desperately needed by unfortunate customers who have to deal with Chase.

Both times they waited until two months later to tell me about their mess up. Then, they charged me tons of late fees, returned check fees, and worst of all, made my credit score drop 160 points.
They call me from collections and tell me I owe a certain amount so I go to the Chase branch which is an hour away and pay more than the amount. Two days later, they call back and say I still owe them money even though I always pay more. On July 6 2011, I spoke to a representative from Chase who seemed to feel that my auto loan was behind $1,059.01. I had purchased a vehicle on 4/12/2007 and in what appears to be extremely poor judgment chose Chase to finance it. I asked them to please send a copy of the ledger from the account so I could find out where they had made their mistake and correct it for them. I finally received the requested paperwork on July 23rd. After reviewing the paperwork, I found their error, and pointed it out to them. Back on July 14th, 2009 there was a returned check. That may not seem to be out of the ordinary until you realize that this is my life mate's car. She does not own, or have access to a checking account, nor have any payments ever been made to Chase via check, which I pointed out to them (leaving out the fact that the returned check amount wasn't for the payment amount or any multiple thereof).
So since I have the means even though she does not, I told them I was tired of their BS and lies and since my life mate has been critical in the hospital all month and I didn't really have time to play their games right now I would pay off the account the first week of August when I had time to get down to their office. I was told, "thank you" and a note would be made to that effect. Slip ahead 7 days to August 1st. I woke up in the morning and the car was missing. I called Chase and was told they could not reach me by phone, although not a single message was on my machine and my cell phone had not rung a single time which they have reached me on repeatedly, but moments later in the conversation they referred to our conversation on the 24th just 7 days prior. So then, I was told that their agent did not have the right to accept that agreement and due to wife being critical in hospital to wait until the first week of August for the account to be paid in full (not just a payment or partial payment).
I have run a business most of my life, and it doesn't matter if I like it or not, if one of my employees makes a deal with a customer I stand by it. I may fire the employee, if it is a serious enough violation of company policy, but I never take out my employees' mistakes on my customers. The payoff balance on 7/24/10 was $4,218.81. When I called on 8/1/10 when my car was repossessed for not being home to entertain their telephone chatters, it had risen to $6,271.24. I get better interest than that from loan sharks in the hood, so heed my warning, people - crawl on your hands and knees if need be but stay away from Chase. They think we are all as stupid as a week-old calf and they can add any charges they want by "misplacing" our money, and charging us for letting them do it. Worst of it all is they are loaning us our own money from prior poor business practices. Hopefully next time we do the world a favor and let them go under and keep our money in our pockets where it belongs.

I bought my car from Enterprise Car Sales and was financed with Chase Auto Finance, whereby I have been paying my car, note at $388.91 per month, some months late or not. Allegedly, I got 3 extensions while in the contract. When I got to my final payments in 04/2012, I received a letter stating I owe Chase $3,043.56. I called the collection department multiple times, left Frank ** 4 messages because I received a call from a man asking me where the vehicle is located, for repossession. I immediately began calling multiple numbers from the Chase website and was unable to reach anyone, and when I did, they transferred me back to the collections department. However, I requested multiple times for a breakdown of the fees and charges that would justify owing them $3,000 more, which exceeds the amount on the contract that I agreed to pay, which was $23,334.60.
After adding up all the figures on my contract, I have paid $12,679.85 in principal and $11,944.41 in interest, which totals a whopping $24,624.26 paid to date, not including an additional $3,000 owed. I contacted Consumer Affairs disputing the charges, also disputing the number of extensions they say I had. Consumer Affairs sent them my complaint and sent me back their response without telling me what my next step is, or my options. I reviewed my payment history again and discovered that two of the months where I allegedly got an extension, they received an actual payment from me, which means I only got one extension. I also have fees for late payments, collection fees, and paying by phone fees where the customer service rep clearly states they would be waived and/or your payment would go from $388.91 plus the cost to pay by phone, which would make the grand total more than the actual amount of the note. Plus I was told that if you get an extension in 2008 you accrue interest from 2008 daily until 2012, is this legal or what?
I and my sister are in the process of attempting to start a lawsuit against Chase. My sister financed her vehicle for 72 months. She got 4 extensions and paid her vehicle off 12 months early and sent Chase $4,332.56 and they sent her back $20.00. I thought the benefit of paying the car off early was to save money and have a lesser payoff amount. Not with Chase, some months I paid my note and absolutely no money went towards my principal for 6 whole payments. Let’s get together and sue these **. So far, I make the 331st person with a complaint against Chase and all our complaints are very similar. And let’s not leave out those months where I paid my car note early and they didn't give me credit for those payments towards the principal nor interest, and those months I paid two car notes at a time.

We purchased the vehicle in May of 2011. In or around September of 2011, we were forced to file a Chapter 13 as my husband's hours had been cut. We had been making our monthly payments to the trustee; however, she had not been making payments to Chase. In June of 2012, our bankruptcy was dismissed as the trustee said we missed a filing (remember we are making payments to her this whole time). I immediately called Chase to work something out with them to keep my Trailblazer. I was told that if I paid them almost $1600 in a month, and pay another $600 the following month, we could take two payments and tack them onto the end of the loan and things would be all caught up (and he supposedly put my account on hold so that it wouldn't charge off).
So, I pulled together the $1600 and "MoneyGram"-ed it to them (this was in May). I called the end of June per our agreement to make the next two payments, only to be told by Scott that my account had been sent to another department and he gave me the number. I called it and Julie told me that Scott had no way of knowing what I needed to bring the account current (they don't all have the same computer system?) and that what I sent wasn't enough to keep the account from charging off. They charged it off the day after I sent in the $1600 payment. I then told her I would need 24 hrs to decide if I could take out a loan or turn the car in. She agreed and they repossessed it that night. They lie through their teeth! I've filed an action with the BBB.

I purchased a vehicle in 2011 from a local dealership. It was financed by Chase Auto Finance and I have always made the effort to make my payments on time and in full. I again made a full payment on the due date. The check didn't credit to my bank account until 5 days later and bounced, not due to me overspending, but due to a Paypal thief who hacked my account and stole money from me. By the way, Paypal was wonderful, they refunded the money and investigated the fraudulent charge in a very timely manner. However, because of the bounced check and the resulting overdraft fees, I had to wait another 7 days to mail a money order to them.
In the meantime, I'm getting multiple calls a day from a "loan manager". I attempted to call and speak to a real person only to wait on hold until the call is either disconnected during transfer or I have waited on hold so long my break at work was over and I have to hang up. So I called that same day to inform them I mailed the payment. The woman I spoke with barely spoke English. She made a note in the account that I called to inform that a payment has been mailed. So fast forward to the following Monday. A repo tow truck showed up at my house! I ran outside in a panic, my husband and I are both home sick as dogs and dealing with this, money order receipt in-hand as proof that the payment was made. He said to me that I need to call the "loan manager" again.
I didn't get the original lady. I got Michelle who said she is the manager of the department. She was rude, belligerent, talks over me, yells at me, snaps at my husband on the phone, and said, "a receipt is no good to me!". I put the tow truck guy on the phone, he's familiar with Michelle and her attitude. He said, "she has the receipt, she's current. There's no reason to do this today". She yelled to him, "take the car!" and hung up on him. So he followed the orders, allowed us to remove all our personal belongings from the car and took it away. The tow truck driver was the only one who apologized, he was the only one who seemed to be on our side in this! I was floored at the incredibly poor treatment. The very next day, I called to see if the payment has posted. Lo and behold, the payment posted hours after the car was towed on the same day. I'm not late! I am now current!
I called Chase about 3 times that day to try and get through to a supervisor. Before I could get a word in edgewise, I got kicked to their Redemption Department and I was basically forced to go through a line of questioning. Again, with a phone rep with a language barrier, so I can barely understand her questions and she can barely understand my answers! She put me on hold, reviewed my account and said to me, "we need the full amount of the car payment". Over $10,000! My payments are current! I called again this morning and spoke with yet another person in the Redemption Department named Steve. He told me, the only way that can be reversed is if I contact the loan manager (again) and basically beg her supervisor to contact the Redemption Dept supervisor and change the redemption payment decision.
So I called today, explained the full situation to the loan manager. She is indeed very nice, very understanding and asked me even more questions about why the payment was late and what happened with my account. I gave her every detail since the beginning of the loan, from the very date of purchase and bring her fully up to date. She can see that the most recent payment was posted on the same day the car was towed. So she can't promise anything, but will bring it to her supervisor. Who is Michelle, the rude, arrogant, iron-fisted mudslinger who gave the OK to drag my vehicle away before my eyes despite my efforts, my financial hardship and my attempts to contact them and rectify the situation? You just can't win with these people. I live more than 20 miles away from where I work. There are no buses. I live in a rural area. I can't rely on someone to go out of their way to carpool with me. If I don't have transportation, I'll lose my job and in this economy, the chances of finding another one closer to home with the same pay grade is nil.

When I was told today I can't get my car back, that means I've lost $7,500, too. I'm in shock! Please, there must be a second chance program. This is pretty harsh. Please help me.

Now, they are telling me the agreement was declined without telling me. So now they have my money and my truck. I have been getting the run around for an hour and they still have both the money and the truck.

I leased a car that was financed through Chase. I then purchased the car, but failed to return the old plates to CT DMV. Then the DMV billed both me and Chase for the property tax on the vehicle. Chase proceeded to pay the DMV, and then billed me (for a vehicle that they did not own). This went on for two years before I realized what was happening. Afraid for my credit rating, I paid them, with the understanding that it would get worked out (that is what they told me). Dozens of phone calls and over a year later, Chase has still not reimbursed the difference. Chase is one seriously messed up organization.

I mailed a certified check for the full amount including all penalties, extra fees, exorbitant interest, etc. After at least 10 phone calls, most of them unanswered, they keep saying it will be there in 7-10 days. What's most galling is a detectable snicker while they are lying to me. I would support any group taking action to expose this disreputable bank for their preying on people unfairly. This bank is an example of the root of the term banksters!

FYI Chase is not one of those banks that needed to be bailed out. What a lot of people don't realize is banks tell you everything that they are going to do. The problem is most people don't read. When it comes to late fees, banks including Chase can't just charge whatever they want. It's either going to be a flat rate or a percentage of whatever your payments are and it depends on what state you live in. So what does that mean? Your government knows what you are being charged in late fees. Just because you make a payment every month doesn't mean you won't get fees because unless it's the entire payment it's still considered late just like with any other debtor or company. People don't realize when you get extensions on a simple interest loan, your final payment will be higher due to your principal staying the same.
Now, imagine extensions and a bunch of late payments. Yep, you pretty much screwed yourself. Not to mention they are required by the OCC to read you a disclosure advising you of all this before you even accept the extension and they send you a copy of it in the mail. So in the future, read and do your research. Look up what a simple interest loan is and don't accept high interest rates. People have this idea that banks and entities are out to get them and in some cases that might be right but you have to protect yourself.

I just got my vehicle repossessed today and I am very distraught about the whole situation. I purchased a 2008 Hyundai Sonata in Nov 2007, I have always made my payment up until Nov 2010 when I got laid off. I paid $2,000 cash to Chase at that time with my severance pay. I continued to make payments with my unemployment checks. I didn't find another job until 05/2011, so I continued to pay, at which time the pay was not enough being a single mom, so I wouldn't say I fell behind because every month I would make a payment, some months the whole payment and some months not the whole payment.
Nevertheless, I made a payment. Then out of the blue today, my car got taken away. I called Chase and the representative, Gloria, informed me of all my payments, again some the actual monthly payment and some not, but every month they had some money. She informed me that Chase does not accept partial payments. I asked her why wasn't my money returned back to me. She didn't have anything to say. Every month Chase had a payment. This is going to cost me a lot of money now. That thanks to my family I will be able to get my car back. In reading the other horror stories I think we should bring up a class action lawsuit against this company.
Hey, we bailed them out by our hard earned tax money and this is how they treat us. In fact, we should close their business. I hate Chase, never again will this happen to me.

My auto loan was with Capital One which was bought out by Santander USA. Santander stated I did not make a payment in October 2010. I sent them proof of payment, then they called and said it was another month. Again I sent proof of payment. They kept calling after about another month up to 5 times daily, which drove me crazy.
I finally spoke with one of their reps. She told me I was up-to-date. I said great. I wished I had her from the beginning. Then yes, they called again. So I told them what the other rep said. The response was "Well, I can't help what someone else told you." I finally got another car loan and paid this Santander off. Now I could kick my self, because I paid late charges and everything totaling $7000 on a 2004 Mercury Monterey. And I so wanted to trade this car, but owing this much, I can't. This company is just horrible. Is there any way you can help me? Thank you.

I have been unemployed for about seven months now and the only help I can get with them in regards to a "payment plan" is repeated calls (about 7 or 8 times a day) asking me the same questions! "When can you make a payment?" "Can you borrow the money or put it on a credit card?" They have made no effort to keep a customer in this poor economy but they just want their money and that's all that matters to a $1.3 trillion company spread across 50 states. What poor customer service! And above all, the worst business ethics to have with someone who has paid a previous loan without a single incident.

I am writing this because I want the world to know that JPMorgan Chase, and Chase Auto Finance as a whole cannot be trusted. Anything credit related that this company tells you is a blatant lie. I financed my vehicle over two years ago at an extremely high interest rate. I was OK with paying this interest rate in the hopes of rebuilding credit. I was told by a Chase auto finance representative that if I paid on time for 12 months, I could simply refinance and get automatically approved guaranteed. So in 2010, I applied for refinancing and was declined. Bear in mind I have never missed a payment. Again in 2011 I applied to refinance, and surprise, I was still declined.
I called a manager at the Chase Auto customer service branch and explained that the loan rep told me I would be 100 percent eligible for a refinance so long as I paid on time. The manager pretty much said, "Oh well". Now I am stuck with a 28 percent interest loan, as a result of fraudulent information given to me by JPMorgan Chase. If you lie to Chase or any other bank on an application for credit, they can prosecute you for fraud. If they lie to you, they apparently suffer zero consequences. Let this be a warning: Never trust a word that any representative of JPMorgan Chase tells you regarding credit. They could care less about you, your credit, or the harm their fictitious information may cause.

I have been victimized by Chase Auto, as for 5 years I have been paying on a car (I refinanced through them). If I was ever late throughout the 5 years, I realize a late fee would apply and several times early on I may have been late but in the past few years, I have been making my payment monthly of $385 to $400. I was recently toward the end of my loan in a few months, and noticed the amount of the pay off was around $1,000 more than it should have been. So each month, I would speak with the same Chase rep and tell him exactly when I was going to make my payment. However, the $850 in late fees was not accurate. He continued to say he would/send out an itemized payment history (which I continued to tell him I never got).
In Oct 2011, the Chase rep told me that my loan was maturing that month but I still had 4 payments left, so I asked him what that meant and he said "nothing, I just need to inform you that your loan matures." Okay, so I continued for the next few months to make my payments, even doubling them. I had 2 payments left and called to pay my car off 3 months after Oct in January, and the Chase rep told me my account was in a different dept. I said, "Oh why, I have been making my payments every month for 3 years with you?” And he said, “Your car was charged off.” What?! How on earth can my car charged off when I only had 2 payment left, and have been paying it every month, and also disputed the $850 in late fees.
Fast forward, the $950 principal that was due, I went into the branch and paid (still disputing the $850 in late fees). That bank was able to finally get me a faxed copy of my itemized list - and low and behold, for the course of my entire loan, I was charged late fees every month, ranging from $49, $59 and $84 dollars each month! I hit the roof. Even a few times over the course of the loan when I had extensions, the bank still charged me "excessive late fees each month". I never saw this because my statements just would show the principal, interest and what I owed each month (not a break out of what was being charged). Since that, I called recovery dept. and they also said they have never seen this and a car charged off that have been being paid on each month, with only 2 payments left. Furthermore, that rep gave me the person who made the decision to charge my vehicle off "Frank C." and he won't return my call.
I want to take action against Chase and the fraudulent "excessive late fee charges" that they charged me month after month, which by the way were already deducted each month throughout my loan payments, totaling over $2,000 plus dollars. The end $850 late fee charge is an additional charge on the "statement" above and beyond what was already deducted monthly.
On top of it, the last $950 payment I made and I asked the teller, now what does my car balance show? She said $0 balance. After she printed the itemized statement, (two more late fees showed up for $75 each).
This must stop, where companies are taking advantage of people who are financially hindered, but still adhering to paying each month their bills and they are being hit with late fees in excessive of what is legal each month without even knowing!

Since my wife and I both lost our jobs, and me being in school now to better our situation, we fell 30 days behind on our car loan. We have been unable to catch up, but we have been making the payment every month. We get constant phone calls and letters threatening repossession. When I talk to them on the phone, I get the worst attitude I've ever dealt with in my life. I ask for a supervisor and get the person sitting next to them because a supervisor that's worth anything would not have the same exact attitude.
I explain our situation, fighting through the attitude that I'm given, and I was told that they don't know if our intentions are to keep the vehicle because we are behind. Any partially educated human can figure out that when someone falls behind but continues to make monthly payments, they intend to keep the vehicle. So when you get a call from 414-977-8460, answer it and talk to Michelle or Gerry, her alleged supervisor, and try to explain your situation.
Dealing with their unprofessional attitude and harassment is the only way to avoid them ordering a repossession for having a rolling 30 day lateness on your account. Don't try to explain anything or hope that they use logic or understanding because it will not help. I know Chase is a big bad bank that doesn't care about people. But something should be done about the way this call center treats people.
I was told that John is Gerry's supervisor, but he's out of town. I'll be calling back to talk with either her supervisor or the person sitting on the other side of her until I get someone who can at least apologize for the attitudes and unprofessional nature of the other people. Or maybe when I finish my degree I'll get a job at Chase and find my way to manage that office so I can fire these people. No, I have a better life planned than to manage a call center, but it would be fun!

I was able to resume making a payment but just not soon enough. Chase in Tucson called me and proceed to ask me in a very rude demanding tone "maybe this vehicle is too expensive for you" and "how do you ever manage your finances". I understand the questions are necessary but the tone in which it is asked is used in a scare factor type of way.
I ended up going into a local branch and found a very helpful girl who gave me a number to call the next day when my truck was set to be repossessed. I called the number at 8 am, spoke with a girl, and told her the complete situation. I received a call an hour later from the manager of the auto finance department saying any agreements that I had made with the other Chase representative were null and void. I am pretty sure that is illegal however you look at it. After much arguing with the manager, she decided to go with that agreement but would offer no apologies for the rude treatment and continued to protect her employees’ actions. I called the branch manager of the location I had walked into the day prior whom told me that this type of treatment is repulsive and she was embarrassed for her company. I have several issues/complaints with Chase Auto. The first one involves the robo calls. If you are even one day late, they will call your home five times a day, sometimes two or three calls back to back. The billing they send is misleading. They include payments that are not due in the past due amount. Finally, our car was repossessed a few months ago even though they had our payments. I have always made our payments online via their website. I set up the payment and schedule a date for them to debit our bank account.
A few months ago, I set up a double payment for our account to make sure the account would be up to date. Usually, I just set up one payment at a time. But this time, I set up two payments to get our current and I printed a copy of agreement with a confirmation code. The day they took and posted the payment, they sent a tow truck out and repossessed the car. Even though I had a receipt showing the payment was scheduled and paid, my car was taken with my son's baseball equipment, asthma medicine and my back pads. After 20 minutes of begging to the people who took the car, I was allowed to pay $35 and clean out our car. I got the address and even though they told me they were closed, I hurried to the gated lot where my car was being held and got the gentleman who towed the car to help me load everything in my other vehicle. The next day, I began the long and tedious journey to retrieve the car attached to a current account.
It took me two weeks to get the car back after countless phone calls. Fortunately, I had proof of my scheduled payment. The customer service reps at Chase advised me they are unable to see scheduled payments on their own website. So therefore, even though I went on their website, set up the payments a full three weeks before, they had continued to call my house three to four times a day using multiple numbers and finally repossessed the car. Once it was verified they had repossessed a car on a current account, they finally agreed to return the car. It took multiple phone calls where I was told I had to wait for a committee to meet and review my situation to achieve the return of my vehicle two weeks later.
I told them I had paid to get my belongings back that were inside the car when it was picked up. They called the same guy who repossessed my car and told him to bring the car back to my house and return the $35 cash he took for my property. Later, within a couple of weeks I received a letter stating that my car had not been repossessed. However, two months later I was charged a repossession fee. To date, I have not received that back.

When I got the letter, it said I would have to pay it off entirely which is approximately $11,345.87. After an extension, I had most of the money but they told me they still cannot help me. Then they said I would have to pay storage fees plus towing. So after several tries, I could not reach them. At Chase, the lady sent them a email to call me. We they did, they said as of Nov. 11, I owe them $3285.00 in fees which is totally wrong .
So today, Nov. 30, I call Chase to see what is going on and if they sold my truck. The lady said that they still have it and it still at the storage place. This is a rip-off. The broker tells me its because I was late on my first payment. I told the broker I had literally gotten off the phone with chase just before he called and they said nothing about this. The broker tells me he will call the dealership and double check to make certain that they have the right car.
Mean while my parents come over and I ask my DAD to run to the bank and make my car payment when he gets there they tell him I am 3 months pass due My Dad not thinking anything of it because I have now been off work for my knee pays what Chase says I owe just to help "Me Out" not knowing that Chase are big fat liars.
Meanwhile the broker calls and confirms that Chase is "investigating the deal because I was late on my first payment" sounded like a crock to me anyhow, The broker speaks to the dealership who now wants the broker to pay off car because Chase are $#%&$%$%. I have never heard of such craziness. Two days after the three payments where made, I get a letter in the mail that Chase is canceling my loan and no negative reporting will take place.

I keep on getting NSF charges and service charges which totaled about $300 because of them. I was able to talk to a woman in the "resolution department" just last week, and told her that I do not want to be in the Paymatics program at all. I had fallen late on my car payment with Chase. Just over 30 days late. I've had my auto loan with them for almost four years now. I've had one other late payment with them in the entire four years I've been paying on it.
Yesterday, they showed up out of nowhere and repossessed my car. I called Chase bank, thinking this was some kind of a mistake. I never received any letter, notice or anything from them regarding my account status. When I called, they told me that they've been calling me, but they have a wrong number for me. I had my number changed several months ago, but the number they said they had in their system was a three-year old number! Makes no sense. They have called me several times in the last three years!
Anyway, speaking to the girl on the phone (I didn't get her name), she said I could make the payment and they would not take the car, after taking all my information, card number, etc. She told me her manager said she couldn't process the payment and I would have to call another number to make the payment. In the meantime, they took my car at 3:00 in the afternoon, right before I had to pick my kids up from school.
I have a daughter in a wheelchair right now, after having surgery on both legs. I was unable to pick my kids up from school. I was told I could just call and pay, then go pick the car up. I called and they informed me that since I was no longer employed, they would not be able to re-instate my loan. I have not been employed since three months after buying the car. I stay home with my kids, and have for several years. I have informed Chase bank of this right when I started staying at home, and it's not ever been an issue until now. They said all I can do now is payoff the loan in full.
My head is spinning that they can just decide to take away the loan they gave me because I no longer have an income, and they refuse to use my husband's income! She suggested we cash in my husband's 401k and pay off the loan! Given the fact that this is all so shocking to me and I'm unable to think straight right now, we've decided to just pay off the loan and be done with them.
I called today to find out the payoff, and they told me I have to wait 24 hours to even get a payoff quote! How can they get away with treating people this way! I'm willing to hand them money, and they'd rather make me suffer! My daughter could not go to school today because she can't get her wheelchair on the schoolbus, and I have no other way to get her to school! And now they're stringing me along saying they can't tell me how much I owe them!
What am I supposed to do now? Not to mention, I had already mailed them a check, so I had to call my bank and pay $20 to stop payment on the check that they say they haven't gotten yet! This has been a complete nightmare! Don't they have to give you some kind of notice about things like this?

I have lost my home and now this. I need my car and can't sleep at night because they are threatening me. I have sold just about everything I own to make the payments. I want the calls to stop. I have every intention of continuing payments until the car is mine.

I bought a new car and financed it through someone else, but Chase bought the loan. I paid it on time and as agreed for almost the length of the loan, which was six years. One day a hail storm came through and totaled my car. My insurance company, State Farm, totaled it, even though they fixed other cars that were worse than mine. So, I got the windshield replaced and drove the car as there was only body damage done to the car. State Farm paid what they thought the car was worth, but that left some balance owing to Chase. I had insurance for that too but they refused to pay off the balance, because I had deferred one payment one time when I was moving. I explained to Chase that I wasn't in an accident and it was an act of nature that damaged my car. It was no fault of my own. Chase refused to listen and called my full balance, $3000. I did not have the money to pay them, so I continued to make my monthly payments and charged off the account to ruin my credit.
I tried and tried to get through to a supervisor but was given the runaround. Every time I called and asked to speak to a manager, they took my name and number and said someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I left message after message, but got nowhere. Sometimes, I would be left on hold for over thirty minutes, then the call dropped off. Sometimes I would be given to department after department. But I was always told they couldn't help me and would switch me to another department. I got nowhere so I finally just gave up. I cut up all my credit cards and now only pay with cash. I solved that problem. I won't ever do business with Chase again.

I want to let the world know about this company and how they deal with their customers. Prior to taking an auto loan out with these sharks, I had used a credit union. First of all, the interest rate with these people is not good at all. You will be looking at 18-25% interest as they will collect upfront on the loan payments, so this means if you do not pay additional principal, then most of your car payment is going straight in their pockets.
Secondly, if your payment is not received literally by the 1st day of your payment, they will call and harass you all day long. Thirdly, I have sent the payment in numerous times and they have actually waited to post it on my report after the 30 day mark, so this means they take up to 2 weeks to get the payment in the mail and post it. Remember this; send the payments certified! You will need this in case they do false reporting to your credit report.
Finally, they have rude and terrible customer service! Do not and I repeat, do not take an auto loan out with these people. You will be signing up for years of terrible service, fees, and more problems. I had to come on here and report these people. I have many other creditors that do not handle business this way. So please take heed!

On 8/1/2011, we sold our son's corvette, which still had a balance at Chase Bank. We went to pay off the balance and we were told that they did not have the title. We couldn't believe that after 4 years, they never requested the title from the dealer They couldn't give us a straight answer, but they said that sometimes that happens. That's pretty dumb, I thought. We sold the car to a military individual who will be deployed soon. When we left the bank on 8/1, we were upset and now, how were we going to give the young man his car. He paid us for it. It is his, but not really because we, he doesn't have the title. We went straight to the DMV and they told us that Arizona had the title. We went back to the bank and they said that they would have to request it and it would take about 2 weeks. On 8/25/2011, I called Chase and was told that they couldn't do anything about it anymore, because we had the lien release.
They did mail us the lien release, but I thought they were still working on it! My husband started looking online to see if we could request it . He felt that we better not waste any more time since this young man will be deployed to Korea in October. We decided to take time off work, go the Arizona DMV and make the request in person. The man at the counter told us right away that this needed a lien release or letter from GM. Oh my gosh! What more? We explained everything and showed him our paid off statement, the lien release from chase and he said that it didn't matter. He also said GM had sold out and that they were now allied.
My son, who is in Arlington, Texas, called GM and they told him that they were no longer GM and they had no record of anything. We decided to drive to the dealership -- Midway Chevrolet in Phoenix, AZ. We asked to see the finance manager and he told us the same -- that we had to go to DMV and we went through the whole story again. He said that they were not responsible, but finally gave in and told us he would give his title clerk the information and that she would be calling in 2 days. She called on 9/1/2011 and told us she had no record of it yet, but that someone had dropped the ball. She told my husband she would be calling us on Sept. 9th. I still don't understand why we have to be doing all the leg work when it should have been Chase's.

I don't even think this company deserves any rating! They are horrible and very rude!
My husband and I got behind on payments due to moving (we are military) and they knew we would be late. They informed me that the day after the due date, when the account becomes past due. My payment per month is 386.71 and I got just shy of three months behind and they said we owe 1600 bucks.
How? I had made several partial payments to show we were trying and they knew once we got TMO money from moving, that we were going to pay them all of it. Well TMO shorted us 800 dollars. I called Chase to get my account information to send a money gram payment and John from Chase started ripping into me and I just set the phone down while he was yelling and doing his thing as I wrote down my account information.
Now granted I shouldn't have fallen so far behind but I'm a mom and my kids come first! Now after being harassed for about two weeks non stop, we have pawned all valuables and are going to do a money gram to Chase before the hurricane hits.

You'd think with the way the economy is, they would work with people rather than treat them like they're a loser. They actually ask you to borrow money or take out a payday loan, which is the humblest thing you can do financially. I have two kids, one car and am going back to school. My husband and I purchased a 2007 Ford F-150 in July 2010. We made the August payment on time with no problem. On September 3, 2010, my husband had a stroke. He was off work for over a month. I called Chase and notified them of the stroke on September 6--three weeks before our payment was due. I asked them if we could defer just one month to stay on track, but they refused.
We have been able to stay under the 30-day threshold but just barely. All we needed was a 30-day extension. It is not like we are asking for a write-off on the balance due. It is going to be very difficult to get anything caught up because now they are assessing us with late fees. I agree with everyone else. They call five or six times a day from the earliest possible moment to the absolute latest nano second allowed by law.
These are the worst people I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I am worried that with the continued pressure that Chase is putting on my husband by calling him repeatedly, they are going to cause him to have either another heart attack or stroke. If that happens, believe me, I will go to my dying breath making Chase pay for this. They will never, ever walk away from this one. Chase is by far the worst service possibly out there. Chase has come to us twice trying to repos our Mercedes Benz. We had already paid the bill on time and yet they came for our car. The first time was at 10:30 at night, saying that there was an email to repo our car, no paperwork but an email. We tried to talk our way out of it since we had paid our bills on time but the repo man wouldn't leave. We gave in and let our car be towed away.
Called chase in the morning only to find there is nothing wrong with our bills and that they had been paid on time. It is their error and so they sent a fax to the local branch in my area so we can get our car back. Went to our local police station, paid $10, drove 40 minutes to towing company and got our car back. This happened early 2010. Yesterday night at 12 30, deja vu.
Repo comes, says he got an email from Chase, even though we paid the bills on time, takes our car, called Chase in the morning, nothing is wrong, waiting for a fax, and now we have to drive another 40 minutes to sign a slip of paper and get our car back. Like wtf. For those reading this, Chase is the worst service/bank you can get. They give horrible and terrible customer service. They do not care about what you have to say. It takes at least three if not more reps you have to call and transfer in order to get a simple problem solved.
All they want is the money you owe, if not, they just take your car. Chase shouldn't be allowed to operate their banking business and they should be closed down for good. For all of those reading this, do not use Chase. I repeat do not use Chase. It is not worth it and you will regret their services. For everyone's New Year's resolutions, it should be to close your accounts with Chase and to stop using their services because, even if you pay the bills, they take your car.

In late 2008, I left a job in Sunnyvale because the family court judge decided my children would go to a public school near where my ex lived, instead of where I was working at a school. I resigned, figuring I'd quickly get another job. That is when the job market tanked. I was all right, though, because I was living off of spousal support of $895 per month and a monthly stipend of $1550 per month that was a part of our financial settlement. The $1550 per month ran out (as it was supposed to) in January of 2009. I found myself living on $895 per month. I became homeless and moved in with friends. I have four minor children. At the time they were with me 3 nights per week.
The current schedule is 1 child is with me full-time and 3 are half-time. Anyway, I went from living with friends to visiting my adult children over the summer of 2009. I came back in August for start of school year and was able to rent a room and got part-time work from home. In early 2009 I could no longer make car payments, after faithfully having done so since 2003. I offered Chase to go to $50 per month til I gained employment and I was rejected for any change to my monthly payment. So I was living off of $895 per month and they wanted me to make an almost $300 per month car payment. I had only 7 payments left, and so wanted to make good on it, but couldn't. I had other debts, due to the divorce, that were insurmountable. So, I decided to file bankruptcy last summer. I filled out the paperwork myself and my degree "Discharge of Debtor and Final Decree" was issued 5/10/2010. I had not made payments to Chase since early 2009, I believe. Out-of-the-blue, late yesterday afternoon, my car was repossessed.
The trustee in the bankruptcy case assured me that the car would be mine and that they had to cease and desist from asking me for money. So, I'm confused. I also just put a new tire on the car last week, and I'm paying a local company monthly for work they did on it earlier this summer. I was in shock, but the kids ran out to get their belongings out of the car. My landlady had seen the man starting to tow it. The kids were shaken, scrambling to get belongings & frightened by the experience. My 9-year-old sat on a chair, crying, for a couple of hours. My 12-year-old had a headache, went to bed early, and had to have Tylenol this morning before going to school. I am missing work, and others are having to take the kids to and from school for me - as I live in Morgan Hill and they attend school in Gilroy.
I am an upstanding citizen, working with local candidates for city office. I have no criminal background of any kind, and no vices. I am an outstanding mother of 4 fantastic minor children (and 6 adult ones). This was extremely embarrassing and the lack of a car threatens my ability to provide for the children. I do get $1350 per month in child support finally, and now spousal is $250 per month. I rent two rooms in a home. I occasionally have had to get food stamps, though try to not have to resort to that. I have no ability to pay an attorney. My current family law attorney works pro bono and will vouch that I am a woman of integrity. I need my car back!

I called my local tax office in Norwalk, CT and went through all of the details with her and she told me to fax over the returned plates receipt and also a letter from my insurance agent stating when the Sequoia was dropped from the policy and the new vehicle added, which I did.
The first call I received from Chase was on 8/4/2010. I spoke to Roger, he told me to fax over all of the paperwork and he would look into it, and get back to me on the correct amount I owed. I faxed that to him on 8/5/2010, he never got back to me.
So then I received the second call from Chase. They had left a message on 8/10/2010. I returned the call when I got home that night and they informed me that I owed them this money immediately, so I asked why did I receive two bills, one was for $760.63 and the other was for $190.14. She told me that the amount I owed them was $950.77, I told her that I faxed all the documentation to Roger on 8/5/2010. She said, "Well, did you call him and tell him you faxed it?" I said, 'No, he was getting back to me. I spoke to him again right before I faxed it.' She told me to fax it to her attention the next morning, which I did fax all of the paperwork to her at 7:55am on 8/11/2010.
I called to confirm receipt and spoke to Michael. Par was not at her desk so I asked Michael to have her call me. He said he left a note on her desk. I hadn't heard back from her, so I called around 11:00 and got her on the phone. She said, "Oh, yes I just got your fax." So she is looking through the paperwork and said, "Well, you owe for 9 months." I said, 'No, I don't know the tax bill was from October '09 through September '10, so I told her that I spoke to the tax collector and they said I only owed until December 16, they had all the documentation and so did Chase now.
She fought with me that the only amount she will give me to pay is the 9 months, so I said, 'Okay, what is that amount?" She told me that I owed them $713.07, she then said, "Ok, let's take care of this right now." I told her, 'No, I am not making a payment right now, first I knew that was not the correct amount I owed.' She said, "Well, this is what you owe, you need to pay it right now." I said, 'I will not do that without a corrected statement from them.'
So she asked for my fax number, which I gave her and then she said, "Ok, let's take care of this right now, I said, 'No, you said you were going to fax me a corrected amount.' She then started getting really loud and so rude, and said, "I did not say that." I said, "You just said that." Then she said, "You have two bills there, just cross one off and put that amount in there and pay it." I told her no, I then heard someone in the background saying to her "This call is being recorded." I said, Good! I am glad this is being recorded! She said, Well, then we will send you out a new statement and hung up."
I called back my tax collector's office in Norwalk, CT on 8/12/2010 and spoke to Nancy. She looked up my information and informed me that my actual amount owed is $190.14! She also informed me the bill that was sent to them the $760.63 had been paid by Chase. They were getting a refund of $570.49.
Now, they were trying to get me to pay $950.77, shouldn't this be looked into? When they only paid the $760.63. So I asked her to fax me over this information to pay it. I am making my payment of $190.14 with a copy of the documents from my tax collector's office stating this.
How can they get away with that? Never mind the way I was treated and spoken to, but they were telling me to pay $950.77, when they only paid $760.63 and that was still the wrong amount that I owed. I will never use Chase Auto for financing again and will tell everyone I know this story. I want to make sure that none of this goes on my credit report or any other records. Thank you.

Well, let me start by saying that my husband and I believe in paying our bills. Like everyone else, this recession has hit us very hard. I got cancelled a lot at my job in the summer time, and so I had a check that was 12.14. We have done the best that we could under the circumstances, and like everyone else, other companies have worked with us big time. Walmart, T-mobile, Orchard Bank, and American General get major kudos from me in that department.
Ok, so here we go. My husband bought a car, and we have only been 30 days late once, and we went on the 31st day and paid with cash at a Chase Branch. When you pay cash, it automatically goes to the account, no matter what they tell you. Have we always paid on time? No. Have we paid any late fees accrued? Yes. So what is the big deal? Do I like paying the late fees? No. But we pay them, because we were late.
Now, here is the big issue I have. This Manny guy called my cell phone and left very inappropriate messages in my voice mail. I am not even on the account. It is my husband's. He threatened me every other day, even after I have called the 1-800 number to make arrangements. I don't believe they have the right to repossess your car, if you are under the 30-day mark. Come on, really?
I finally had had enough and called and cussed him out the other day. He still called and left rather rude and inappropriate messages in my voice mail. He doesn't dare do that with my husband...only me. I felt violated every time he called. I have asked to speak to his supervisor which I know he has one. But he refused to forward me; his solution was to just hung up on me. Really?
I am to the point that I have half a mind to go directly to his office and meet him in the parking lot. Why do we, as consumers, have to pushed to this level? I don't believe in violence, but he pushed and pushed. I pay cash every time, so it goes right on the account, and it always includes the late fees.
I ask like someone else did. Where is the customer service, compassion, etc.? So I expect them to let me be 90 days late, only if I have a valid reason and can prove it. This recession has been hard on every consumer out there. But wasn't it the banks that got bailed out? Where is our bail out? How come Walmart and T-mobile can be considerate and work with you? I owe them money every month, like my husband owes Chase. Why does Chase not care about the hateful reputation they are getting and the anger their "customer service" reps bring on?
Better Business Bureau, be there for the little guy, step in, and help make Chase a better place. I have emotional and psychological stress every time my phone rings. I am afraid it is Manny, and I am going to be violated all over again. FYI, I have kept and recorded each and every message and conversation we have had.
What would happen if the American people decided today to close their accounts at Chase and have their cars repossessed? Chase would fall...without us Chase is nothing. So come get my husband's flippin' car. We would rather walk than put up with this ** anymore. My husband will file. Listen closely, people. An "illegal search and seizure" police report and go to court charging Chase with a felony. There are rules to repossession, and Chase is violating them left and right....
Americans, stick up for what is right. Chase, you **.... Your customer service **.... And Manny, you can kiss my **! I know some people can't afford to lose their cars. But if a movement started, my husband and I would support it 100% Let's put Chase out of business and see if the CEO's and CFO's can pay their bills on time.

Our car was repossessed 8/3/2010, we fell behind 3 months due to illness with myself and my wife. I just received help with house mortgage with stimulus pack thru the government. It was reduced by half. The man I talk to told me that I did not make enough through SS and pension, which is $1400 a month plus my wife's income did not count is what the man told me. We found someone to help us pay up to date plus charges, he refused and said that they would auction it off on the 20th for $13000.
It is the only vehicle I have. I would appreciate it if there is anything you could do for us because we are positive, we can make the payments and pay off the vehicle. I am left without a vehicle and cannot get back and forth to the doctors and/or hospital when I need to.

My father passed a few months ago. I am trying to finish up his estate. When I explained to Lisa ** that we would surrender the vehicle, but needed to have handicap equipment removed. The company would come get it and when they would come get it. This was all left on a message on her phone. She never called back to ask any other questions or to state that is was not acceptable. She was angry with me on an earlier call (in tone and attitude) because I would not take over payments or pay off the car. She had the car reposed. The equipment was still in the vehicle. When I called her to ask what was happening, she accused me of trying to hide the car.
When I asked her why she did not call me in return to my message, her response was "I didn't want to". I left her supervisor a message on her phone and was not called back. I was working with chase auto to surrender the car, why would they not work with me. Is it the company or is it the people working at the company. I cannot believe the company allows this, I was working with them and they just dropped the ball and did what they want, because an employee "didn't want to do something"? I would like for this complaint to be taken serious! I am very upset that they would treat people like this especially when there is a death in the situation. I will never use or refer this company ever! Thank you

I had a problem with my bank account when I switched banks. I forgot to switch the payment to my new bank for my auto loan. Someone from Chase Bank left me a message saying that they left me many messages that she will be in the office until 11 PM on July 25th 2010. At the time of the call, I was talking to the computer with Chase Bank and answering too many questions before I can even get through to a human. This person was rude telling me that I need to stop ignoring them and calling me a name or two and that if I do not call back by 11 PM that a decision will be made with or without my consent.
I then called back Chase, finally getting to a human telling him what was going on. I then asked if he could tell me who would leave a rude message like that. I asked how many times does it show they called me, and could he put me through to this person or her supervisor. Not that he would put me through to her supervisor and whenever you ask to speak to a supervisor you're on hold for five minutes and then someone who say they are their supervisor most times are not. The young man told me that only one other call was made to me, so I asked why this other person had to leave me such a rude message. He said that he did not know that it was a different department. He also would not tell me what decision would be made with or without my consent.
What I would like to know is why do they have to be rude to people first off, my account has not been late before, and why would they leave a message without their name and not give more detail in the message for me to contact the person who left this rude message. Whatever happen to customer service? What kind of people are they hiring that they have to be so rude to people? Word of mouth said a lot so I will be sure to let people know to avoid this financial institution.

I purchased a 2009 Mazda 3 for my son in January 2009. Payments were to be automatic from my checking account. We have done this with our daughter in earlier years. A few months after the purchase, a collection agency contacted us about payments. I explained that it should have been automatic. I made a large payment over the phone and Chase informed me that they would send the paperwork to set up direct payments. The paperwork never arrived. I tried to contact them online but this did not work either.
Another time, the collection agency contacted us about a payment which was never received. I had mailed the payment but the check was never cashed. So, I made a payment over the phone again and asked if we could set up direct payment. Chase informed me they would send the documentation. The documentation never arrived.
Last week, I called Chase because the bill for July never arrived. We had a neighbor collect our mail while we were away. While on the phone, the recording stated the convenience of paying online. I tried in vain several times to complete this transaction but the website did not recognized my account or social security number.
I printed out a copy of the error message if you need to review. It instructs you to call a number for assistance, 1-877-242-7372. Someone in the Philippines was not able to assist me so she referred me to **. The operator at this number referred me back to 1-877-242-7372. Eventually, I gave up and informed Chase Auto that I was going to file a complaint for wasting my time and for not complying with their advertisements of quality service.
The situation had a negative impact on my credit rating. I run a small business for 15 years and credit is extremely important when the necessity arises for purchasing expensive equipment.

I am a 71-year old woman who has a balance of about $4500 left on my auto loan. Since I got the car, in 2008, my loan has been w/ Chase. My original payment was $370.03 for 6 years. The way the bill was written, it showed that there was a certain amount due for principal and then a $15 fee for processing interest. I thought these $15 were to have my payment auto deducted from my checking account so I only paid the $355. I come to find out the payment was short every month. Of course, no one called me to explain this, and the shorted amount just kept adding up. I now owe Chase $1100.00 of partial payments and interest.
So, I go to the local Chase branch and make a full payment plus $240 towards fees. Then the next day, Friday, I get a call from the repo guy saying that he has an order to go pick up the car. I explain that I just made a payment yesterday. He says he's going to check it out and get back to me.
Today, Saturday, the repo man came and got my car, after I had made my payment at the local branch and after I was told that the car would be fine. The repo man who was driving a brand new Lincoln Navigator, said that his orders were not to collect money, just the vehicle. Now I have to call Chase to find out what happened and how much it will cost to get my car back, this after paying $300 last week to get it repaired. Oh well, it is now repaired and repossessed.

I tried to speak with them but they insist on not only one payment when you speak with them but two. They add in the next month as if you are late on that one. Then if you tell them no, they say they are going to start repossession of the vehicle, that I should "borrow the money" from someone. Are they kidding? We have another loan with Carmax and they have never done this.

I get incessant phone calls from them beginning 5 days after the due date. By the 15 days late, I am getting 10 calls a day. At twenty days, I get a call from an individual telling me that I must return their call or "A decision will be made on my behalf". I usually pay during payday 28th, due to financial hardship. In the past, I answered their calls and told them I wouldn't be able to pay until 25 days late in order to be responsible. But, they keep calling regardless and ask many inappropriate questions, so I stopped answering their calls as it was pointless to "work with them". They now call me at home in addition to my cell when I told them previously not to call my home but only my cell.
My complaints are too many phone calls; calling when debt is only 5 days late, calling home # and cell, threatening calls and harassing me that I am delinquent when it rarely goes past 30 days. Am I obligated to talk to them at all if my debt is less than 30 days late? Do I need to provide them with personal info if the debt is less than 30 days late? I am upset and dealing with their phone calls while I am working distracts me from earning the money I need to pay them!

I borrowed the money for my daughter and son-in-law to purchase a 2004 Nissan Armada. The dealership in Utah, falsified my application and I was put under duress to sign the loan papers for borrowing from Chase under the threat they would take the car back and it would be tough luck for them because they had already sold their trade-in. So like an idiot I signed the papers.
Now Chase only has my information because I am the borrower and in the meantime, like millions of others, my son-in-law lost his job, they moved in with relatives and they both spent several months looking for jobs. I knew they had very limited funds but they never asked for help even though they had 3 children to support. Anyway, last Thursday I got a call from Chase, the person's name was Marsha. She immediately started carrying on about how awful the account was delinquent, how they were coming the next morning and that my daughter's check had bounced. I told her I would get a hold of my daughter and speak with her.
Marsha called back shortly and was even more aggressive and threatening. I told her there was no way I could pay this because my income is from disability and I have a spinal cord injury from a semi truck and trailer hitting me and so she asked my permission for a 3-way call to my daughter. I told her she works in a public place and may not be able to speak openly with us, she said that was okay we should try so I said yes. Big, big mistake, the minute my daughter got on the phone she was yelling about how irresponsible she was (she is not) and how she has ruined my credit and on and on, she said they were coming to get the car in the morning and then sue me.
Well my daughter tried and tried to talk to her but this woman just yelled, neither of us could get a word in. So my daughter went to her bank at lunch and got the cash to make the payment and went to the Chase branch here and paid it in cash...just like she had said she would. Now my daughter was late with the payment but the threats and the yelling had me so upset that I cried off and on the rest of the day. There is no excuse for someone to treat people like that. I tried to call them on Friday and talk to a supervisor, after going through 3 people, all of which said I had to talk to Marsha first, I finally got the voice mail of some woman and I left a message for her to call back so I could report this abuse.
I never, to this day almost a week later, have had a return call. I also called again that following Saturday (last) and went through the same and the guy was yelling at me and threatening also. I finally told him to shut up and said this is why people don't cooperate with your company because you don't let anyone get a word in edge wise. He finally forwarded me to a supervisor, another "please leave a message". I did and still no return call. I, like all the others who have had to deal with these unethical, hateful, threatening humanoids, agree and I will tell everyone I know to never never finance anything with Chase.
I had a Chase credit card (zero balance) that I kept in case of emergencies but it is now cut up in small pieces and I will never never deal with these persons again. I have been so upset by this that I have not been able to sleep, have had a fight with my daughter and now am afraid that because I have never had any notification from them prior to this, that they will just show up and take the car.

Shameka stated she would charge me as many times as she can. I tried to talk to Havier but he would not return my call. Unfair charges are occurring. I don't know what to do. Wells Fargo and Chase Bank won't accept this method as a form of payment. You must pay a debit card fee of $0.75 per payee, wait until account is delinquent and in collection before they will accept this type of payment, destroying your credit rating and future ability to qualify for credit and/or loans. I would be paying from a different account online through my other bank account. They acknowledged and agreed. Subsequently, they went ahead and processed the payment. I told them not to process and in addition, received a second payment from the other bank. I filed a fraud claim with my bank and with the FDIC because I had proof.
Chase never called to apologize, no acknowledge what took place. They transferred me to the collections dept. and said that I could probably get some kind of payment plan. I called them up and asked for an extension on the loan. Michelle was very rude about it. I told her I lost my job and she told me, "If I give you an extension this month, where are you getting the money next month? Obviously, you are not getting another job." I was literally in tears after this call. That is not the only time I have been in tears with them.
They gave me the extension, only after my husband called and basically kissed their **. Financial stress has been present ever since then, as I have not found another job. We used our taxes to catch up some of what we owed. We were behind still, in May, about two months. My husband called them up, after their incessant calls. We made the mistake of allowing them to do a check-by-phone. We authorized them to withdraw two different amounts of money for two Fridays in a row. I was told that if I didn't contact them immediately, actions would be taken without my say - it would be out of my hands. I make my monthly payments which are unfortunately, late. But, they are made.
I have a little over a year left on my payments and am doing my best. I called from work this morning and spoke to one woman who was very nice and understanding. She then transferred me to another person and he was demanding a payment today. I kept telling him that my payment would be made next Friday. He then asked for my work number and phone number after I just told him not to call those numbers. He wanted to know our financial situation and explained to him that my husband was out of work - Social Security Disability (retired). I told him that I've explained our situation to them dozens of times. No one listens. He told me he was there to collect the monies owed them and wanted a payment.
Our finances are very tight, as is so many millions of individuals. They just don't care. They talk to you like you are a deadbeat who doesn't care. Once this car is paid off, I will never do business with them again. They are getting their money - they need to leave people alone who are making their payments - if they are late, they need to understand. What they do to people is disgusting - this is definitely harassment! We are stressed out enough trying to make ends meet - we don't need to be talked to the way they do. Receiving calls at my work, makes me very stressed at my job. It's very hard to focus and relax wondering in the back of your mind what they will take my vehicle away that I've worked hard to keep.

I sold my vehicle but was financing it through Chase Auto and needed to pay off the balance in order to get the title to complete the transfer. So, I used money from my savings to write a personal check at a local Chase branch to pay off the loan the very next day after the sale. I was told by a customer service representative that this would be the quickest way to receive the title, instead of paying off the loan online or mailing in a check. No mention was made of paying off the loan with a cashier's check. I was told I would receive the title within 6-10 days after paying off the loan.
I made at least half dozen calls to the customer service number to check on the status of the title and received a different answer every time I called. I was told that paying with a personal check would delay the title and paying at a local branch would also delay the title more than paying through the mail. I was also given different dates of when the title was mailed out to me. No one in customer service could provide me with an accurate answer or date as to when the title was mailed. I didn't receive the title until three weeks after I paid off the loan. Unfortunately, the buyer of my car did not want to wait that long and decided not to buy the car a few days before I received the title. Because of Chase's inefficient process and incompetent customer service, I lost the sale of my vehicle. This was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

They told me that I had to pay $900 to bring my account current and that the last check wasn't applied or cashed and wouldn't be. Well, that was lie. They took out the $400 anyway. So I asked for a refund after the $900 EFT cleared. They said I'd have it in 5 business days. 10 business days go by and there is no refund. I call up, verify my current address, and they state they sent a packet that I needed to fill out proving they cashed the check.
I faxed them the info and was told it would take 3 business days. I called after 3 business days and was told that they didn't receive the info properly and I was given incorrect information. They stated they'd send everything in writing. Well, I call back a week later, verify where the check is to be sent, have them repeat the address, and they send it incorrectly again. I call back 2 days later asking the status, find out they sent it to the incorrect address, and they read to me my current address. I call back 2 days later. They claim they sent it to my current address along with lease termination documentation I had requested. They also accidentally applied a late fee to my next payment that isn't due for 24 days.
I call back 2 days later, verify with a supervisor that again, they had sent the check to the wrong address and that they must have misspoke. I verified that the check was issued to my current address. I was told again it would be 3 business days until it was received. June 1st 2010 is when I should receive all of my information and account history at my current address. They also stated that they were looking into all of the overdraft fees that I've incurred due to them 'accidentally' withdrawing a check they held for over 14 days and 'guaranteed' me could not be cashed and would be destroyed.
I have incurred $60 in total overdraft fees, emotional angst and frustration, and have been deliberately misled for their own financial gain. They have been withdrawing money from my account under the leaser's name, not my own which is a violation of Federal Banking laws.

I had a car loan with JP Morgan Chase Auto Finance. I paid the loan off in full (in cash) at a Chase bank branch on April 16. I received paperwork showing my loan was paid in full. Yesterday, May 18, JP Morgan Chase tried to take an electronic fund transfer from my bank account for the monthly payment. When I called JP Morgan Chase, I was told that paying off the loan does not stop the monthly payments on the loan. The rude people at JP Morgan Chase told me that I was responsible for going to the website and canceling the payments. They acted like the error was my fault. I find it stunning that a bank could continue to try and shake money out of me after I have paid off my loan. This is thievery! JP Morgan Chase shows no remorse. JP Morgan Chase agreed to cancel further electronic fund transfer attempts from my checking account, but will not reimburse me for the $10 charge I paid to stop the first EFT attempt.

Chase continues to harass me about a truck because they say I am behind on my payments. I am not behind. I only owe $600-$700 on this truck. Today they sent a person to pick my truck up. I have been sending a $1000 for the last 2 months and now I have about $700 left to pay. I am working 3 jobs not just to make ends meet. I am on SS, retired from my company after 33 years, and work for the US Department of Commerce.

Chase Auto Finance is pathetic, they called me night and day threatening me and have sent people to my house. Regarding payment, I have never to my knowledge been more than 30 days late. This past month, they called me night and day for $59.00, I only owe $2,000.00 on the car. They told me I had been paying good, but they wanted to know why I forgot to pay the $59.00. They said because I did not pay the $59.00 my payment was late. Not to mention that I made two payments in February. They call you night and day all over the place leaving threatening message, it causes me much undue stress. Something needs to be done to this company, if they were the last finance company on earth and I was hungry, I would starve to death.

I received an automated call in regards to my Auto Loan on 4/28/10 that a payment was due for 4/27/10. I returned the call to speak to someone about my loan payment being late. I agreed it was late even though 24 hours had not passed from the due date expiration. After Steve answered my call, he continued to ask me to "verify my identity". I gave him my social, address, and phone number. I let him know that all my information is current. He continued to ask me for alternate numbers to "verify my identity". I understand why they want alternate numbers, but don't tell me it is to verify my identity. I continued to answer his questions and informed him I will not be able to guarantee the payment until 5/15/10. He informed me I was in possession of the banks property and if I do not make the payment by 4/30/10 (2 days), I may have my car repossessed.
This is the part that frustrated me. I owe $1039.00 on a loan I took out 5 years ago for over $15,000 and put $5,000.00 down on. To me this is a low risk loan with a stating balance at 75% of the vehicle sale price. At his point, my car is worth $13,000. I have 3 more payments until it is paid off. I was 30 days late one time in 2005 due to a job loss. Now, I am being threatened to have my car, strike that, according to Steve, "The banks car" repossessed. I calmly asked him what options I have and what are my options with Chase as a customer. Steve replied that he can only tell me that I have until Friday to pay. I asked him what would happen Friday. Steve replied, "Chase does not want you to know what will happen". Each time I tried to ask a question after this, Steve interrupted me and repeated himself. He went so far as to blame "current regulations" as to why he cannot cooperate in a conversation with me.
I asked to speak to someone in customer service or a manager that can answer my questions which he had raised. Steve replied that "This is the collection department not customer service". That statement sums up Steve's attitude, depth of personal skill, and lack of professionalism. I asked Steve seven times over the next few minutes of Steve repeating himself (and ignoring my questions) if I could talk to a manager. He continued to tell me his supervisor was on the call and can hear me. I asked his supervisor to get on the call. He kept asking me "Why, what do you want to tell them?" He informed me the call was being recorded by Chase and his manager can listen to it. I informed him this call was being recorded on my end as well, since my work is required to. He then hung up on me.
I called back and spoke to another person. This person was not confrontational and answered my questions without belittling me. I also asked to speak to a manager to lodge a complaint against Steve. I was sent to a voice mail for Charles Hunt where I left a message and am waiting for a call back.

I had a car loan with Chase for 5 years that was never late once. I bought a new car 8 months ago through Chase and within weeks, was hospitalized for months after I had kidney surgery and was out of work. I have made all my payments so far (except this month), but they are usually late. I always advise every representative of these facts each time they call since I am playing "catch up" with all my bills from being out of work for months. The latest call was today from Melanie ** who claims to be a Collections Supervisor. She went way out of line threatening me that they would repossess the car today if I did not make a payment to her today.
The last representative I spoke with advised me I had until the 3rd of May to pay, which is when I get paid again. Melanie insisted she would repossess the car and repeatedly made stressful remarks like, "You obviously don't care about your debts," and, "What will you do without your car?" in a snide tone, and almost yelling, "You are always late since you opened this loan! You clearly can't afford this car. You obviously don't care about paying your debts," and others. I said there was no reason to be rude to me, that I had spoken to someone already and arranged to make a payment, and she said, "Well, you have a problem because that's not good enough!" I stayed very calm but she made me very angry and stressed and would not listen to me at all, but kept interjecting her remarks about how I will lose my car and that I don't care about paying things off, and how they did me a favor by "allowing me to build my credit" by giving me a car loan. Are you kidding me?
I doubt she heard 2 words from me with all her rude interrupting. I have never complained about a collection call before, but this was the most stressful and worst one I have ever had, and I wanted to report it and her because there was no reason for it. Despite my excellent past records, I am now being treated as a bum off the street by a company I pay money to every month (late or not). I endured a real physical and financial hardship out of my control. I am doing the best I can to make things work and to pay my debts, but now when I speak to a representative, I don't know if the dates that they say I need to pay by are real or not. If one representative says one thing and a supervisor calls screaming at me something else, who do I listen to, a representative that sounded courteous and professional or someone who screams and is totally rude and who claims to be a supervisor? I don't know, but this sucks. She should be fired either way.

Effective immediately, this letter will serve as the second request for your representatives to discontinue calling me on my work telephone number. I am currently behind on my car note for the Nissan 350Z. I have been working diligently with the representatives out of the Baltimore, MD office to bring my account back up to the current status. The representatives out of that office are extremely rude and I receive harassing phone calls monthly at work. My car is currently in the shop because the electrical system is fried and I have to get several things replaced.
I received a phone call from Mr. T. and Sheila, 888-, ext. 10662. Both Mr. T. and Sheila were rude and very unprofessional. I really do not think it's appropriate for a Chase rep to ask me if why I can't afford my vehicle and leave threatening messages with my references when I cannot be reached. I do my best to return phone calls from these individuals when I receive them but often times I am not able to make personal phone calls at work.
I fell behind on the vehicle payments in 2006 because I was unemployed for 9 months. I then had surgery late last year which placed me on short term disability and I did not receive a full paycheck. So for me catching this note up has been a constant battle. I appreciate the fact that the other reps at Chase have worked with me through tough times but I do not appreciate being harassed at work. My vehicle will be paid off on March 2011 and I really want to make sure I get back on track so that I can pay it off. I would also appreciate working with one representative and not speaking with (5) different reps every month. I have to explain my situation to each rep each time someone new phones me.
I would appreciate if someone can contact me in a professional manner. I am requesting working with one representative until my vehicle is completely paid off. Thank you for your time in assistance with this matter.

On April 3rd 2010, I made a $350.00 payment to Chase Bank on my auto loan. I brought a check to the branch located across from the Arden Fair Mall. My payment was not due until April 27th. After I made that payment, I went to Safe Credit Union to see about the possibility of re-financing my car. I found out that they would be able to re-finance my car at a much lower interest rate. Safe Credit Union called Chase Bank to see what the 10-day pay out on my auto loan would be, and completed all the paperwork so I would just have to come in and sign on Monday, April 5th 2010.
After I left Safe Credit Union, I called Chase Bank and spoke with Daniel ** at 2:29pm. He informed me that the $350.00 payment I made on April 3rd would be refunded to me. He said that I would receive a check within two weeks. At that point, I asked Daniel ** if it would count as a strike against me or hurt my credit or standing with Chase at all if I cancelled the $350.00 check I gave them that day. He said no. I called my Bank, Bank of America, directly after talking to Daniel ** to cancel the check. The representative informed me that there would be a $30 fee for cancelling my check. I chose to wait for my refund from Chase Bank in the mail.
On April 14th, I received a letter from Chase and it did not mention my refund at all, so I called Chase Bank. I spoke with Kenz and he informed me that I will not be receiving a refund of $350.00. I asked to speak with a supervisor and I was transferred to Mae. She informed me that the check I brought in on April 3rd had posted to the account before Safe Credit Union had called for the 10-day payout, therefore, they would not be issuing me a refund for $350.00.
Firstly, if I would have cancelled my check on April 3rd, that would have counted as a mark against my record because Chase Bank's representative, Daniel ** gave me wrong information. Secondly, now I was expecting a refund of $350.00, by April 17th, that I will not be receiving.
I am very dissatisfied by the service I received from Chase Bank. Their representative gave me incorrect information about my account and finances that potentially could have a devastating impact on my credit. I was expecting and needed that $350.00 to pay my bills, and if I would have cancelled the check, it would have counted as a mark against me. I always pay my bills either on time or early, and it is just utterly ridiculous to me that Chase Bank did not do anything to make up for the fact that my life was impacted due to their representative giving me wrong information.

Chase Auto Finance is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Every time I call, I receive a different answer. I moved from Massachusetts to Maine and needed to switch my title. I sent in all the paperwork on March 2nd. I tried selling the car on March 19th to find out the title hadn't been changed yet. As of April 14th, I still have not received the Maine title. I have called approximately 12 times and two letters have been mailed to Chase by the state. They have done nothing. Don't ever use Chase!

I received a letter from Chase Auto Financing three weeks after the due date stating my payment was late and it was. Due to a family crisis, I didn't notice that I never got a statement in the mail. The same date I got the notice, I sent the final payment, paying the account in full with a letter stating I apologize for it being late but I never received a statement. I mailed it certified mail. Chase signed for the letter two days from the date I mail it, at which time the account was 25 days late. They processed the payment that same day and the money came out of my account two days after that. Now, I'm thinking that I'm just waiting for the title to come in the mail.
Not so fast, I got a call four days after the money was taken from my account stating my account was just sent to collection and is now 30 days late. I gave collection the check number, the amount of the check, the date it was processed and the date it came out of my account. I was told by collection that because they can't see it on their screen, I would need to make another payment for it to come out of collection. This of course is where the craziness starts. I told the lady on the phone no, you need to figure out why you can't see it and fix it.
I hung up after talking to her, called back and got a guy this time, who starts with the same rhetoric until I interrupt him and told him the phone system shows the payment as received six days before that 30 day mark. He did a little research and found it. Of course, by this time, another 32 cents of interest was added to a non-existing amount owed. He said it would take five business days to fix the problem. At the fifth day mark, when I got another letter, this time I find out it has been reported to the credit bureau as 30 days late (which it never was) and now 35 days late. I'm now thinking, "You got to be kidding." I called back and was told it could take up to seven days to fix and which time the credit bureau will be sent a letter retracing the 30 days late. It's now been 19 days since they received the payment and it's still not fixed.

I was called on Sunday, 4/11/2010 at my home to be told that I was late on my car note. 10 days. I financed this car from Sunbelt Mazada in Meridain, Ss. The man that I dealt with said my 1st. payment was due 05/02/2010. My daughter Christy ** was with me and heard this. I received the call and explained to the man that I was sorry I did not know it was due. I had not received an statement from Chase to send anything back and I was under the impression that it was due a month later. He wanted me to pay it over the phone. I told him I did not give out personal information on the phone. If they would send me statement, I would pay it. He wanted to know where the car was located and who it was insured with I told him.
On Monday 04/12/2010, I received another call from Chase at work dunning me for the money. I told them I had already been contacted. The lady was rude. I hung up. I tried to call back and speak to someone else about this and they needed my account number or vinn number. I am at work, don't know account number. Haven't received this and I didn't have the availability of my vinn number. Again short and rude, I hung up. I got permission to go get my vinn number and I called back. This time, I was going to give them the vinn number. The lady asked for my acct number. I told her I didn't have one and she wanted my social. I told her no that was not to be given over the phone. I have my vinn number.
During this time, she never quit talking and telling me I was in arrears on my acct., talking over me. I told her to let me explain and she said that I needed to let her finish talking first hatefully. I was so frustrated I asked to speak to someone in authority and she said she was the general manager and she was authority. I just hung up. All I can do is wait until they send me an address to mail a payment or come get the car whichever comes first. Well, they were calling me on weekends and at work. My boss was upset. I was upset the rest of the day, not to mention my credit. I have an excellent credit and I'm not sure this won't come up later on my credit report.

I bought a vehicle in December of 2007 and financed it through Chase Auto. Had I known how nasty they were, I would have never chosen them no matter how appealing the loan terms seemed. I made my payments on time and eventually started making monthly payments on the principal in addition to the normal payments. I accidentally forgot to send in a payment and received a reasonable enough letter indicating that I missed the payment and that it's understandable. It also requested that a payment be sent immediately.
Well, I sent that payment (including the late charge) and the next payment early. The same day I received the letter, I started getting calls from Chase employees. I called and a really nasty lady was telling me that I needed to tell her where I park my car and give her other information that she has no business having. I told her that last and next payments were on their way but she wanted me to give her my bank routing number right there. She said that until the payment arrived that my vehicle was "at risk."
I asked her what that meant (even though I knew) and she said repossession. I asked her if that was reasonable after one late payment and with that payment and an extra on the way. Her response is that times have changed and if they loosen up on me then I'll think-- but I cut her off and told her to never believe she knows what I'll think. She said that they wouldn't want to repossess my vehicle anyway because of the year and what's owed on it.
I hung up and checked my bank account and saw that both checks had been cashed. I called back and got a different agent, who was, in fairness, a lot nicer. Maybe she was because she knew the money was coming? She said that it takes 3-5 business days for them to process the payment. I'm a little surprised that they would take that long considering how much they like the money over customer service. I sincerely hope that any potential customer reading this story and the many others on this site, will consider never doing business with Chase for their own benefit. I hope that any Chase Auto employee reading this will realize that getting nasty about payments already on the way will realize that they've lost a customer for life.

I've been making payments in excess of what my current monthly charge is. I've made a few payments late, but I've always maintained my account and have never gone over the 30-day period. I began receiving calls from relatives that were used as references at the time I applied for the loan advising they'd been contacted by Chase as they've been unable to reach me. I called Chase immediately to determine what the problem was. I was asked to verify all my personal information, which I did, advising them that none of the information had changed. I then asked if they still show my current phone number in their system and was advised they did. I began questioning why they were calling to begin with as my account is current. I was then advised I had a past due balance of $42 and change? I questioned this as I'd been paying more than my payment amount. Therefore, this information is incorrect. I was advised I paid $40 less on my last payment than I was supposed to. I asked what happened to the money from all the over payment's I have made. I was advised it all went towards my principal balance. I advised them they need to transfer the money from the principal balance and apply it towards the $42 that they claim I owed. The young man stated he put in a request to have the money moved and that should take care of it all.
The very next day, I was awakened by numerous calls and voicemails from Chase. Again, I called, this time speaking with a young lady. I went over the information all over again. The young lady was extremely rude and argumentative. I explained to her in detail the conversation I had with the previous representative the day before. This young lady didn't seem to care, appeared to be more concerned with arguing rather than resolving the problem. I then requested a number or contact information for Chase Corporate Services. The young lady states she doesn't have any corporate contact information. I then requested to speak with a supervisor. Initially, I was told no supervisors are available. I demanded to speak with someone of a higher authority. Finally, the young lady placed me on hold then transferred me to another individual where I left a message for a return call. No phone call to date and it's been over a week.
The following day once again, the calls from Chase began. This time a man named Jessie called me from 503-452-3284. By this time I was livid. I explained to this guy that I'd been contact over 20 times by Chase in the last two days. This is no longer call of resolution but harassment, plain and simple. Jessie states he's removing my number from their auto system list so the call should stop. I then asked what his call was about. Jessie now states I have a balance due of $180 and change. I was baffled and asked how that was possible. Per Jessie, they applied late fees, fees for spot checking. I said what the heck is spot checking. Jessie advised it's when they send someone out to check and make sure the car is at the address on file. I asked, “How in the ** can I be charged for something your company chose to do?”
Jessie couldn't provide an answer. The conversation continued as I advised Jessie of the previous phone calls I received and the results. Jessie then became aggressive, advising me that the calls wouldn't be happening if I paid my bill on time. I stated to him my bills been paid, not always on the exact due date, but never more than a few days late. Jessie became very vocal about payments and that I needed to send this balance in right away. Once again I advised him I would not be paying for a service they utilized, not me.
The conversation quickly turned into a very heated argument. I told Jessie I no longer wanted any verbal contact from anyone at Chase as they're all ignorant and don't know how to be courteous and treat people with respect. Jessie states that's not possible, they have a right to call. I told him, “And I have legal rights to tell your company to never call me or my references again.” Once Jesse’s realized I was right, he then states, “Well, we have to have that in writing.” “No problem,” I said. He provided a fax number of 503-452-3280. I faxed the letter that day. Here we go again, the very next day calls started again. I refaxed the letter as well as filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. My payment was due again on 3/22/10 and I get paid in 3/26/10, four days late, the payment would be.
On 3/24/10, I received a letter in the mail from Chase that was more than rude, stating that I cannot run from the problem. They'll repossess my car, you name it, they said it! These guys are a joke. The next step is to place an order against them so that they are no longer able to come to my home as they've been there a number of times making threats, demanding to see picture ID. This is insane! What happened to respect in the customer service world? This entire corporation appears to be run by a bunch of ignorant individuals that aren't from planet earth. You can't treat people this way then show up at their door. That's dangerous!
