I was purchasing my home loan and was referred to Ryan. He is absolutely amazing and he even came to my closing. I worked with Ryan ** and Jacob ** as a first time home buyer. They did a lot of the footwork and research on their own accord which made the process go incredibly smooth. Ryan and Jacob showed their commitment to a timely and fast close by answering my phone calls by the second ring or calling me back within a few minutes. Their dedication paid off because we closed within 3 weeks! I feel like they truly care about my home loan and my personal experience.

I feel the $3.50 charge to pay online is ridiculous. Do you really want to handle a check sent via the mail every month? It's pretty basic. I know people who get charged if they DON'T use the internet to pay.

Everything went smooth and loan officer was great handling a out of State purchase. Sheree was awesome explaining each process and accommodating to multiple extensions due to several contracts falling through on my Arizona home. I would definitely recommend Caliber loans.

Cannot be happier with the service level provided by Caliber, with highlight remarks to Joshua ** and Theresa **. They were professional, friendly, supportive, clear and uncomplicated throughout the process. Also I really enjoyed the digital platform and the automated process provided by Caliber. Every question I had was promptly replied and as foreign national obtaining a Conventional Loan, I had always alternatives to move my process through.

We had a great experience working with Brenda and rest of staff from Caliber. They made it easy for us to complete all the steps in mortgage process and kept us informed. We were told that Caliber rarely sells mortgages and were pleased as we felt we had established a good working relationship with Brenda and team. We were very disappointed then when our loan was sold about eight weeks after closing and we weren’t notified by Caliber. Simply received a letter in mail from our new mortgage holder. We now regret using Caliber and wish we had gotten our loan through our bank instead.

Caliber Home Loans started arbitrarily charging $3.50 for one time payments. I have never missed a payment. I can only assume that these extra charges will steadily increase over the lifetime of my loan and I can't in good faith recommend them to anyone.

Love the attention and all the good things about it. Mr ** allowed us to have a dream and hope. Very professional and all the time. I will definitely recommend the hair services to friends and family. Thank you for your time and support.

The process to get my loan was the worst customer experience in my 51 years on this earth. Mistakes were made, I was misled, maybe even lied to, and I wanted very badly to go with a different mortgage company - but they kept me "on the hook" long enough so that by the time I was ready to abort - it was too late and they had me captive. I would never recommend them to anyone, ever.

I could not ask for any better loan assistants. My specific advisers were kind and efficient. They displayed the patience of saints. Obvious knowledge of process was evident. Everyone that I spoke to at your office was quick to answer questions. They were excellent about quickly returning my phone calls.

I’m a first time home buyer and used USDA Rural Development for my loan. My loan process was average I would say. Caliber did great on their part! Everything went as well as I could expect. I never had an overwhelming feeling or anything. In my opinion the process went as planned. Sometimes it’s the little things in life that really open your eyes.

This morning I called the customer service with regards to my recent account transaction. Unfortunately, the aforementioned madam appeared very unfriendly, impolitely and impatiently, trying to hang up the phone even before giving me the fax number which I need. When I requested to address my concerns to her supervisor, she seemed to be much worse, and finally hanged up the phone without any notice, let alone any courtesy. I feel ashamed to meet such a Customer Service Representative working with a national-wide well-known company: Caliber Home Loans!

My husband and I are going through a hardship so we reached out to Caliber to get a modification done on our mortgage. We sent all the paperwork in several times and then we get a letter that they need more paperwork to finish. I called in on 6/4/2018 to make sure that I was reading the letter right before I sent the paperwork. I told them we did not have the extra money to spend to get the paperwork from our bank nor to go out and buy more ink for the printer which was used up the first time sending paperwork after paperwork to them. The lady stated that they needed it to go through the process of getting the modification. So on 6/4/2018 that evening we went and spent $105.00 to get everything we needed from the banks, work, and the ink even though we didn't have it to spend.

I loved working with Jane ** at Caliber Home Loans. She's professional, knowledgeable and it's evident that she truly cares about her customers. I've already recommended Caliber to several people that are shopping for a home loan. I've had experiences with several other mortgage providers in the Peoria area and their customer service doesn't compare to Caliber.

My loan officer took her time in dealing with my loan. If she was dealing with other loans it actually never felt like she did. I felt like I was her only customer and the focus was on my loan only. It felt like everyone helped each other out to make sure my loan gets approved. I appreciate everyone that took care of my loan.

Buying a house for a first time should be overwhelming, but Steve did everything possible to explain the process and terms, and to be there for us when we needed him. Anytime we needed to make a decision, he gave us multiple options so that we could find the one that best suited our needs. He was always available to talk to and ask questions, even on short notice at times. He even called us right before we closed on our home to make sure that we did not have any last minute questions and knew what to bring to the close. He was very respectful, personable, honest, and was a pleasure to work with.

Our mortgage lender, Heather **, was very patient with us, as it took 6-9 months to find a home. She was prompt with numbers (we asked for quotes on every home before putting in offers), always having those numbers for us quickly. All around, the numbers for the mortgage are solid. My only complaint is that Caliber did not inform me very well of our mortgage options: it was assumed we would take a certain mortgage, when in fact we chose the opposite after we realized it was an option to begin with. But that is my only complaint. Overall great service!

We have had our home with Caliber Mortgage for 5 years. I do on their website and pay our mortgage electronically every month. We just received notice that they will begin charged $3.50 fee to process this. However, if you mail a check, there is no fee. Are we headed back to the 1950s? Aren't most companies wanting electronic payments rather than checks?

The entire Springfield staff was friendly, efficient and an expert knowledge covering my needs and requirements. On rare moments when an answer was not readily obtainable, within minutes it was found and I was notified immediately. Bill and the entire staff gave me the feeling that I was their only client. They made the process seamless and painless.

Caliber Home Loans is doing everything possible to not honor disaster assistance requesting documents and then claiming they never received them many times. Every customer service person has their own rules a regulations for the company. One agent said you need one proof of document then some other agent at the company says no you don't you need XZY instead sending you round and round. BUT TODAY!!! I actually caught agent Miguel Agent #** in a LIE. I send 128 pages of income statement along with P&L. Miguel stated that out of the 128 pages of documents that the Profit and Loss statements were not attached and it was too late and that Caliber denied my claim. Further in the discussion Miguel said I sent in too much information, They did not want 6 months of documentation but only 2 months. 6 months of income statement was the original request. I argued my case that 6 months of income is better than 2.

Sam was excellent to work with. He helped us through every step of the process from day 1, and we could not be more grateful for his support. We will recommend Sam and Caliber Home Loans to anyone who is looking for a lender!

I have had the worse experience with Caliber Home Loans. I have a mortgage through Caliber, and I made a payment on the 29th of the April, the payment should have posted on the 30th but they didn't post it 'till the 1st, which led to a late payment shown on my account. When I called to complain, they said that since it was the weekend it takes 2 days for the payment to post, but that was not clear at all from their website at all otherwise I would have called in to make the payment. This was an error on Caliber's part. The folks at Caliber were not understanding at all about the situation and made no attempts to fix the late payment shown. I had never been 30 days past due ever on my mortgage. In fact one of the times I called in to complain, they falsely accused me of calling in on the 30th and cancelling the payment, which I never did. That really made me upset. They should have fixed the error right away.

Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. They explained everything thoroughly and answered all of our questions. They made things go through quickly and smoothly. They were always pleasant to talk to. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you!

They've been giving us the run around so much that the mortgage is now 5 months past due and they're foreclosing on the home in a couple weeks. I really have to thank Brian, and the whole staff for guiding me through this escrow process. I am so thankful to have worked with this team, could not have done it without them. Probably my most memorable moment was the last week of escrow. It was pouring rain, I am at work on a site visit, stuck in my car, I am trying to get my fire insurance coverage and every hiccup you could imagine was happening at once. I called Brian and at one point we got 6 people in this conference call (my agent, the escrow office, the insurance office, the TC-- literally everyone involved) leaving no stone unturned until I received my e-sign docs that my insurance was good to go. I dislike companies that get too big and forget about good customer service or provide numbers within the company to help if needed. I sent 2 insurance checks overnight and after 5 days checks still haven't been received in system. No employee has a number to contact the payment department which is crazy. If I send a company a overnight payment I expect it to be received within 2-3 days max. This is unacceptable and I am still with the checks.

My bank sent them the mortgage payment as usual and caliber received it on their end. But didn't showed the Caliber account. I tried to investigate with bank and Caliber but seems like bank did the job but not Caliber.
