We had an amazing experience working with Wendy ** at Caliber Home Loans. She walked us through everything as first time home buyers. As a first time buyer I had A LOT of questions and Wendy was always there to answer them!

Would have given 6 or 11 stars if the form allows for it. Let me count Jackie and her team's awesomeness. 1. FAST - Jackie's team are the hardest working, most responsive team in my experience. I have done 3 deals with her team and they have answered my questions within the day (minutes for the simple stuff) EVERY SINGLE TIME. 2. FAIR - Jackie's team have always put together good and fair pricing for me. I do not feel like I have to shop around as her team is able to offer have always been in line and a bit better than what's out there.

Very pleased with the refinance assistance. Everyone I spoke with over the phone was super courteous and very helpful in every way. Any question I had was explained thoroughly. I was skeptical at first because I know how much of a headache it is to gather so much information for this sort of financing, but with Caliber, it did not feel that way AT ALL... I am so happy Caliber is my mortgage bank beyond any doubt. Thank you everyone for your assistance every step of the way. God bless each and every one of you...

I was pleased with the quality of service I received from Caliber Home Loans. Everyone I had worked with was friendly, professional, and caring. They all worked hard to meet the closing deadline (which we did!) and there were no surprise fees in the end. First and foremost, I want to state that there is nothing in it for me to write this review. The reason that I am is because it is the very least I can do to express my genuine gratefulness for everything that Matt ** (loan officer), Jeff ** (branch assistant), and Caliber Home Loans have done for my family and I. My wife and I were presented with a situation in which we were presented with a small window of time (6 hours), to make an offer on our first home. Another family had placed an offer on a home we were looking at, and we did not want to let the home slip out of our reach. We quickly decided on a real estate agent (Christine **) and a mortgage lender (Caliber) and presented an offer to the seller within 6 hours. 4 hours later, the seller chose our offer over the other, and we were moving forward with buying our first home.

Caliber refinance team are great to work with. They were very helpful and informative along the process. Although the process can be really tedious process they were able to get me done within thirty days. I would highly recommend this Company to friends and family.

Jedd ** really worked hard to find every possible way to improve Caliber's initial offer and beat the competition. He was super helpful on the phone and explained every step patiently. I was very impressed with the deal he was ultimately able to put together with his colleagues at Caliber, it saved me a lot of money both in origination costs and over years to come, by locking in a low fixed interest rate. I will definitely be calling Jedd when my other house comes up for re-fi.

Had an amazing experience working with the Kingsbury Mortgage Team on my first home purchase. Greg, Jeremy, & Tina were extremely knowledgeable, always communicated & understood my needs with a pinpoint accuracy when it came to financing correctly. Every step of the way they were there to keep me on track in terms of what was expected, and it made the buying process a lot easier than expected. And even when some unexpected home licensing issues occurred that delayed the sell, the Kingsbury Team was on top of the loan deadlines to make sure we closed on time, saving me a lot of headaches. This is the team you need, believe me!

From pre-approval to closing the experience went very smooth. My loan agent was easy to reach by phone or email to answer any question or address any concerns. He was able assist me in making sure I had the proper documentation.

We usually only work with Inez **, whom is amazing and has always treated well. We have closed 4 loans with her. Recently tried a different loan officer Dawn **, the absolute worst experience I have had with any lender. Took over 3 weeks for her respond, after she emphasized she would for sure get with me on the next day. Called her would not get callbacks, also emailed her email with no avail. We wish we would have stuck with Inez **, who also work for Caliber. That experience showed us Caliber in a different light.

Working with Casey ** at Caliber was an awesome experience. It was really nice to be able to text him with questions anytime and he always made sure to explain everything so it was simple and made sense. I hope to work with Caliber again on my next home.

This was the easiest financial transaction I have ever made. Leanne ** is FANTASTIC!!! From the start through the whole process, everything was presented and explained in easy to understand forms and correspondence. Leanne and her team were able to accommodate the fact that I was out of the country for two weeks during the process and the loan still closed quickly! I was happy to find that Leanne had moved over to such a good company, as she handled my initial purchase of my home, and did an excellent job then too. I can't believe it's been 20 years since then - but Caliber did everything right by hiring such a fabulous group of people who were on top of the loan and process the entire way through. If I ever need to refinance again - I know who I'm calling!

I just bought my first home with the help of Caliber Home. They were great at explaining all of the information along the way while also answering any question I ran across. I was quoted a number from the very beginning and saw that number stay the same all the way through. The representatives were always easy to get in contact with and made sure I knew they were available when I needed them. I don't plan on buying a home again for a long time, but when I do It'll be through Caliber.

Tim and Joanna are a great team. Think this is our 5th loan with Tim’s help. Excellent work. Tim has gone out of his way (literally) multiple times to ensure he has met all of our needs. I am sure he and Joanna do this for all of their clients.

Attempted to set up first payment on a recurring basis to begin 05/01/2018. However, draft date was withdrawing funds on 04/01/2018. Your customer service rep was unable to resolve so I cancelled the recurring payment plan and will do first payment online as a single payment. Your system does not allow to pick a draft date same as payment date, which would be processed well before the 15 day grace period.

We were so pleased working with Leighann **, this was our first time buying a home and she walked us seamlessly through the process. She was always available, quick to respond, and happy to answer even the "stupid questions". There was no doubt in my mind that everything would be prepared properly for settlement. From start to finish the Kingsbury Team was incredible, I worked with Jeremy for most of the process and during that time we exchanged over 100 emails and multiple phone calls. Jeremy or other members of the team were always ready to answer any questions I might have and gave me the best right at the time.

I had the easiest most convenient experience for my home loan. Tara (my agent) was there for every question and explained everything very well. I would highly recommend doing business for my friends and family in the future. The convenience of everything through email made life very easy for signing and getting down to the final signing. I only had to miss a few hours of work on closing day.

I spent 2 month speaking (Texting). He wasn't too responsive by phone only in the initial call. My representative Daniel ** at Coral Gables, FL. After 2 month of sending documents, running my credit report telling me I would close in the beginning of April. I was given a breakdown of my payments, I was advised that I needed to get insurance for the property which I did. When I went to log in to download my document I was unable to do so. I called Daniel who of course does not answer phone calls. So I decided to call the Texas Branch, very professional, they advised me that Daniel had canceled my loan and he would not be able to forward my documents. Daniel has yet to call me and advise me that he canceled or better yet disappeared my loan. STAY AWAY FROM CORAL GABLES. I left a message for his supervisor who has also decided to stay quiet!! IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STAR I WOULD!! STAY AWAY!!! UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Mark ** made the mortgage process a breeze! What a great company to do business with. Caliber is Locally operated witch made it simple and easy to drop off paperwork as needed. I knew what I had to work with thanks to getting easily preapproved.

Jack did a great job with a challenging customer. Will use again. Customer services was outstanding. Use Caliber with Jary ** on all my home loans and refinances, and Jack on all my reverse Mortgages.

This company is a nightmare. They use fraudulent tactics to take money and foreclose. They will send your checks back and get you so far behind on your payments that they foreclose. We paid a large sum of money to stop the foreclosure and set up electronic payments. Now they are saying our bank declined the payment and adding over $600 for late fees. We called the bank, they never submitted the payment to them. This company needs to be shut down!

Mike ** and the rest of the Caliber team were great. Mike started off the preapproval process by showing me what mortgages would look like at high-end and low-end estimates. This allowed me to bracket my ideal price range on houses. As I identified homes, Mike worked hard to identify multiple options for financing any particular house. He was always quick and diligent. Additionally, he supplied ample advice that was very welcome to this first-time homebuyer. As I started to work with the rest of the team, I found them equally friendly, diligent, and competent. They guided me through the process, gently reminding me of deadlines, and working flexibly with my hectic schedule. All in all, I went from anxious and uninformed to a happy homeowner with a house I love and can comfortably afford.

We worked with Ron ** for the second time. Due to our excellent experience working with him the first time, we didn't hesitate to contact him again. Ron is considerate, helpful and knowledgeable! He answered questions promptly and made closing on our forever home as smooth as possible by keeping us informed.

First, the good part. I really enjoyed working with Cameron **. She provided a lot of good clear information, even when I was very stressed. She was quick to call or email back and to explain paperwork. I trusted her completely. She gets 5 stars. The only part of the process I hated was the underwriting portion. That gets 2 stars. I felt that I was kept guessing as to whether I would qualify for the home for the entire 6 plus months it took to build it because I am self-employed, even though I make a lot of money and have a part-time teaching position. I think this may be true for anyone self-employed these days, but it was hard. My checking account was reviewed constantly back to July, even though they already had copies.

Leading up to the purchase of my first home, Caliber took care of me. My finances were scattered and my history was shaky; but, they figured out the hard questions for me and got the approval. After I closed on the house, I received a bunch of paperwork for safekeeping and some information. I also received so many additional offers and quotes for insurance and other products with the same letterhead and company as my mortgage company that every letter seemed scary. I’m new to house ownership and still am not sure I paid the right person in the right way. It’s time consuming to dig through all the mail with Caliber in the title to find out which one has a number I can call for help. Great company to get the loan from, scary company to owe.

So incredibly impressed with Nikki! We had mutual on Feb. 14th and closed on February 27th. Less than two weeks! And that included a holiday! The buyer needed to close earlier than originally anticipated and Nikki made it happen. We asked to move up the closing on Friday and by Tuesday, she had an appraiser on site. (Monday was a holiday.) I just can't say enough with how pleased we were working with Nikki. I have used her twice now and will certainly use her again!

We have been trying to get our loan modification finalized! It’s been 30-45 minute hold times, then there’s ALWAYS another document needed! For the love of God, this company is a Nightmare! Sending documents in Certified Mail, they don’t even sign for it. We wanted to get the one month of payments added to the end of our loan, THEY suggested the modification! I became ill and was in the hospital, with all this stress, I am gone to end up back there. I call and ask for a Supervisor, everyone who answers the phone is a supervisor. Isn’t that amazing! So how is it that they can’t communicate to get my documentation submitted without needing another document. I emailed requesting management contact me, I just received a response tonight, 5 days later, suggesting that I call their customer service! They’ve been emailed, faxed and US Certified Mail! Guess I’ll have to get me an attorney, since they are so incompetent!

Do not trust this company. Started the process February 9, and still haven’t heard from them. They promise they will have a response by a certain day and nothing. Do not waste your time with this company.

The first loan officer I dealt with couldn’t answer basic questions about the loan without having to talk to his manager, wouldn’t return calls or emails after I gave him payment for the appraisal. After multiple calls and being directed to upper management and that not going anywhere I cancelled the refi altogether. Do yourself a favor and use a real lender that has knowledgeable loan officers.

Caliber Home Loans will report you late with payments even when you are not. When I sold my loan to another mortgage company, they received payment and reported me to the credit bureau as late for the last two months. I am currently speaking with a lawyer on my options. Run away as fast as possible from this company. I am a veteran and served my country honorably!

I dislike this company so much. I didn't choose them, but our loan was sold to them. They have poor customer service for one. Rude and dishonest. I am trying to refinance so I'm calling around. Figured I would see what my current company offers... Well first off he lied. Told me the fees are less than what he tried to get me to sign for. $3,000 WITHOUT an appraisal. As I was signing the edocs I realized they added 8,000 to my loan!!! He was charging me points without disclosing or asking me if I wanted to buy them. I'm so glad I caught that. I would rather give my business to someone else. I don't trust these guys.

As first-time home buyers, we were totally new and intimated by the whole process, but we were lucky enough to have taken a "first time home buyers" class from Joshua **. My husband and I had been looking to purchase our first home for a while. After a good number of months of being outbid on houses we loved we finally managed to lock one down. After getting into contract and spending weeks preparing all we needed to make the deal final we got some horrible news. The house we thought we were most definitely moving into wasn't going to be ours. The lender we had been working with (not Caliber at this time) came to us and said, "Sorry but it's not going to work." Already having heard many times that everything had already been accepted. So we had to drop this lender and deal with a few days of believing we weren't getting this house at all.

I have been with Caliber for almost 2 years and regret it every month I make my mortgage payment. My bank confirms they receive and cash my payment on the payment date from my bill pay but Caliber doesn't actually process it for several days. This has resulted in me getting past due notices. They have told me they stop cashing payments after the last mail arrives around 2PM. So if your payment is received on the 15th and it arrives in the 2PM mail it might take as long as two days before it's processed which then generates a past due notice. It's as if they hold payments hostage until they feel like processing them. I never had this problem when I had my mortgage with BB&T. I recommend staying away from Caliber.

I have a home renovation loan with Caliber. This loan is designed to pay for repairs to home after purchase. Once repairs are made Caliber will send out "draw" checks to issue payment. The home I bought couldn't be lived in. Where does caliber send the first check? To the new house no one can live in, post office sends the check back, entire process took a month to get my money after the repairs were made. When working with the supervisors to correct these I got answers like (She went food shopping, or "Oh I'm at a Christmas party") - I WOULD NEVER WORK WITH CALIBER AGAIN ON ANYTHING. Worst experience ever. Days before Christmas and being owed 30+ thousand dollars and no one caring.

We were very happy with our experience with getting the loan for Our New Home. We would recommend them to a friend or family member who is looking to get a new home. Our Loan Consultant is Carol ** and we are very happy with her. She is a very nice lady to work with.

I mailed in a payment that was $5,000 extra to go towards principal. I thought about checking my statement today to see the interest applied and the new interest for next month. What I saw was 3!!! payments applied on 12/1 for interest and principal amounts (essentially 3 months payments, so no interest "break"). That makes 0 sense... Why would they apply an extra monies to interest? I'll be calling them on Monday to ask why their billing system is set up so screwy. Not right!!

Caliber lost the payment of about $1700. We have furnished two proofs that it went through our bank on 10/31/17. Caliber refuses to credit our escrow account and adjust our payment until it finds the missing money. They lost it - it shouldn’t be our problem. I have been dealing with them for weeks about it. I consider this a shady business since they lost our money and it’s our problem. It isn’t being resolved in a timely manner. Don’t trust this company. Whatever happens to your funds, you may not see them again. I am going to find out what government agency I can contact regarding their withholding of our money. Never trust Caliber. Most of the phone agents are unhelpful also.

I had to give the underwriter a copy of my new driver's license and that's it! Since Caliber had my loan, the streamline was fast and easy. I shortened the length of my loan, lowered the rate and still came in under what I was currently paying. This was a no brainer! Thanks Caliber!

Called corporate twice with no real help at all. First time they were supposed to have someone in my area call me and never did. So then I looked it up myself to find the person closest to me... Second time I left a voice message to file a complaint about the person I was working with and never received a return call. Things started off well with the mortgage specialist in my area, but then she disappeared on me completely and never got back to me again... Her name is Connye **.

We are waiting for a call from Corporate pertaining to our lender Carolina who was not clear on our monthly payment. She lied to us at closing and told us the 1519.00 amount was with the HOA included and we signed believing her. We are looking into Legal action.

When I reviewed the other experiences, I had to laugh. Sure every mortgage company is helpful and respectful. That is the way it started for me. After one year of my payments on time, my homeowner's insurance company canceled on me. Caliber didn't pay my insurance and they forced their own homeowner's insurance on me which raised my mortgage by $210.00 per month. When I inquired about this situation they told me that Caliber didn't accurately calculate my homeowner's insurance on my mortgage note. That is when the nightmare began. Please beware.

I closed my loan about 3 weeks ago. I have recommended Caliber to a close friend beginning the loan process. I found David ** to be particularly knowledgeable and patient. Because of complications with the first contract, we had to cancel and begin a second time about 3 months later. David was very gracious even though this meant extra work for him. We closed on time and without a glitch.

Both Josh and his assistant were very timely with their responses to any questions we had. Both by phone and e-mail. We also experienced a great deal of patience in the face of our impatience and the stupid repeat questions we often asked. All in all a wonderful experience. I would certainly recommend Josh and assistant to anybody.

Matt and his team came up with the perfect lending scenario for my situation which allowed me to buy the house I really wanted.
