On July 29 my payment was due, while in my grace period, on August 7th I totaled my suv. I called Ally and reported it and contacted Gap and informed them as well. They said that I had to send in a police report, insurance information. I did everything they said. Meanwhile, Ally Financial, closed my online payment account, I couldn't see any of my information. They then put a bad hit on my credit report. They received a check from Geico for 16** plus $ and one from Gap for 5073.54 and 430.91 from Millsboro Auto as a gap refund. On the gap paperwork it shows the total owed one the day of total is 22,300. Gap paper shows it's all paid. But Ally says I still owe 1111.54. And they don't explain as to how I still owe them anything. I will never ever use them again. And I can only hope that no one else has to either. I do have all of my paperwork. But if you don't want them to ruin your credit, what do you do? Pay.

Ok so just to be honest, I was behind 2 months on my car. My husband called Tuesday and to his surprise they stated my car was up to date and no payments were due. He was calling to pay what was owed. They said nothing was owed at this time. Fast forward to Thursday! He goes to withdraw money from our account. To much surprise his entire account was empty! Yes. Empty! I’ve now researched this and it is illegal even if we owe, it is illegal for any company to take money from your account without permission, or letting you know, unless there’s a judgment signed by you in a court of law. Which we don’t have. You have to be sued for garnishment to be allowed.

Now fast forward to today! I just got notification they tried to charge his account AGAIN!!! When they already got what was owed and my next payment isn’t due until NOVEMBER 14th! I’m completely caught up on payments and those ** just tried stealing more money! If I could get out of this loan I would, it’s not worth the fraudulent actions and lies. They can’t be trusted! Stay far far away! I’ve honestly considered surrendering the car, their harassment and sticky fingers isn’t worth it! My credit score went from a 619 to a little over 300 because this place rigorously reports to credit karma. It seems weekly. Just last week it dropped by 34 points. I realize this comes with loans and late payments. But holy **! They’ll screw you any way possible.

Once again, I set my payment up on "Autopay" to come out on the 25th of each month (the day I get paid). They will not change my due date from the 24th to the 25th. So I deal with their harassing phone calls each month. Today, I received a call that my account is $139 past due. I ask why/how since I am on Autopay to be taken out each month. They say that it's because I always paid more than my payment and when they set up the Autopay it made my bill lower, for a few months, and now the Autopay amount isn't more than the original payment. So along with this RUDE debt collector, I have a "Past Due" amount as well as late fees because they did something wrong. Not me. I just wish they would waive their late fees, since I don't feel like it was my doing. I also wish I would have researched this company a lot more before financing through them, I see a lot of 1-star reviews. This is my fault for not doing better research, I suppose.

I sent a cashier's check overnight for the payoff amount on October 3rd, it was received at 10am on the 4th (the due date). For 4 days the account was marked past due. Then it was marked paid in full. Now it's the 12th and I just got off the phone with customer service who informs me that the release for the title should be to me by the 16th. I am pissed, the buyers have decided to look elsewhere. And if it took that long to make a payment I am sure there would be delinquent charges incurred. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. YOUR BEST INTEREST IS NOT THEIR CONCERN.

They refused to come get their truck. Told me I was responsible for the other $4,100. I told him to go to hell not paying y'all another dime and I jacked the truck for 500. Ally is the sorriest company I have ever deal with. They're rude you're obnoxious and they're foreigners. Don't ever go to Ally Financial. Bunch of foreigners. Stay America.

I was recently in a state of emergency because of hurricane Florence. My family and I lose everything especially the car that was being paid through Ally. I was a few days behind because of the storm. Loss of power for almost 2 weeks. Once I was able to call them, there was no one available that I could understand. I expressed to the collection department that I live in NC and was experiencing a hardship because of the storm. I had been making my payments on time within the 30 days allotted for 2 years straight. I was then told that if I didn't make a payment it would go against my credit. I explained once more that my city was under a state of emergency and we had no power. Still no empathy.

After my insurance company explained to them that my car was now deemed totaled. Only did Ally agree to remove it from collections and place it with the salvage department. I was then informed that if the majority of the bill was paid by the 8th of October, I would be charged 2.43 a day until GAP insurance could cover the rest. My insurance company submitted their payment on the 4th and on the morning of the 5th Ally reported that I was 59 days late with a payment. By doing so it dropped my credit by 42 points and that is just awful.

My loan had a balance of 8040.09. My insurance company paid 7410.09 so there's not much left to pay. Ally is one shady company because my total should not have been that high. At 11.6 percent APR rate and running my credit 2xs and me telling them to make all payments go towards my principal. They have screwed me. I'm trying to buy a house. Don't by any means accept them as your loan company. They have no compassion. Crooks I tell you.

Over the years I have leased several of my cars through Ally Financial when I leased through Chrysler. Since I know how Ally Financial operates when you turn in your lease. My wife and I took pictures of the car expecting Ally to place bogus damage claims on the car so they can charge the customer. How do I know this because it has happened to us before. The car we turned in was in very good condition and about 8,000 miles under the lease mileage requirements.

As we suspected we sent a letter days later that we owed over $800 for various dents and scratches etc. We reviewed the images that they sent more for amusement purposes and had no idea what they were referring too. We called Ally Financial and talked with multiple supervisors who guaranteed that someone would contact within 24-48 hours but that never happened. One month later we received notice that the car was sold and we owed the final payment of $707.

Once again we called Ally and after being shifted to 4 separate departments we were able to talk with someone and the supervisor informed us to upload the images and send your dispute to a specific email. Several days went by without anyone from Ally ever getting back to us. We finally called back and once again being transferred to 3 different supervisors. We were told that Ally Financial stands by their claim that we owe them $707 and our pictures and complaints was not valid enough to question their decision. Obviously very frustrated with Ally and knowing their history in the past. I believe it is very important for all customers who are offered to finance a car lease through Ally. You ask for other options of financing if possible. I have one more car lease next month to turn in with Ally and I expect the same ** customer service and every attempt that Ally will fraudulently screw us for more money. I have NO DOUBT.

I have obviously learned and the last several leases I went through the dealership approved credit union banks. If I lease a car and the company only finances through Ally, no matter how much I like the car I will walk away. I tell all my friends and family about the seedy side of Ally and to avoid leasing through them because the way and the process of how they evaluate your lease turn in is in my mind horrendous and unethical. I subsequently paid the amount since I had no other recourse at this time and if I delay or not pay they will threaten your credit score.

How can they not have that documentation available? Even for a fee I would pay if needed.

Ally was great until I accidentally overdrafted one time. After that they put me on "probation" and charged me a $30 overdraft fee. Being on probation means instead of letting checks post next day they withhold the funds for an entire week. It's designed to make you overdraft again and again so they can keep milking you $30 at a time in fees. Avoid Ally Bank at all costs. It's not worth it.

That told me there is nothing they can do and they can't not locate the truck for me, but when they possess the truck, They will let me know and that I would be able to pay the fees and buy it from them. 6 mo later I got the final papers saying that they sold the truck for $ 23,000 or so and that I owed them over $10,000. I never got nothing from them only final. Now this messing up my good credit and there nothing they would do to change.

Ally Bank is one of the most inept businesses I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. In March of 2014, I financed my first car through Ally. I was glad to be picked up by Ally because I was fresh out of college with no credit history. As such, my interest rate was pretty terrible, but I just counted myself lucky to be approved and entered into a six-year loan proud of my new adult car and proud of myself for making it happen.

Flash forward to the fall of 2017. I move to St. Louis and need to transfer my auto registration from Arkansas to Missouri. I go to my local DMV in September, the month my plates would expire, and get my new Missouri license plates. They give me Missouri license plates, but tell me that they will have to send a request to my lienholder, Ally, to send the title to Missouri, because Missouri is a title-holding state, while Arkansas is not. As long as they receive the title before one year from now, I'll have no trouble renewing my plates in 2018. I go on my merry way and think everything will be taken care of between the capable company, Ally, and the state of Missouri.

Now, over a year later, my license plates are expired and I cannot renew them because Ally never followed through on the DMV's requests to send my title. I have been on the phone with countless representatives; every single one tells me something different. No one at this company communicates with each other apparently. I have mailed and faxed the request from the DMV countless times, only to be told that it wasn't received... it wasn't received... it wasn't received. Just now, I talked to one representative who told me yet again that it wasn't received and apologized, and in my frustration, I told him that being sorry didn't help and that I needed him to pass the information along to someone who could actually DO SOMETHING about how frustrating and ridiculously complicated this process is. He passed me along to the consumer resolution department.

This new person told me that my request actually was received, which is crazy because I was about to drive out of my way after a full day of teaching and pay to fax the darn thing once again (because who the heck has a fax machine???). I was originally told that the process was going to take two weeks, and now this new person says it's going to be a matter of a couple days (which, of course, is good news but still! Communication is key!)

I hope that this issue is FINALLY resolved by Ally because they have had over a YEAR to take care of this, and I am currently driving around with expired tags. This company is ridiculous. Their ineptness is truly remarkable. I feel so bad for their customer service reps, who have to hear customers complain all day long, and only have a measly script to read and reread. My car will be paid off in April 2020. You can guarantee that I will NEVER finance with Ally Bank ever again, and I will share my experience with anyone and everyone who will listen. I just hope Ally's customer service reps find better jobs at reputable companies before it's too late.

I may lose my job because I can't afford a place to stay or place to shower. I explained my predicament to Ally Bank customer service. They said I cannot speak to a manager other than a call center supervisor. They said they cannot release the funds for 5 business days without exception. It will take an "executive" research and resolution team three business days to get back to me. Meaning even if they could release the funds it would still take 5 total business days.

I have had two overdrafts each less than $5 in the past 12 months. I paid $25 overdraft fees for each of those and I had a 3rd and final overdraft in the past month for $20 and an additional overdraft fee of $25 total. My paycheck covered this last 45 dollars. But Ally won't give me the rest of the funds. When I deposited my paycheck they gave me no warning that my check would be withheld. They had no mercy on my situation. I was just on the phone with one of your representatives regarding my account. He explained that for 2017 and 2018 I have incurred $550.00 in late fees. After explaining to him that since February of 2018 I have been paying $1000.00 which is more than $200 over what my normal car payment should be. In May of 2018 I paid $1,100 which is more than $300 over what my normal car payment should be. The representative explained that the overage has been applied to my finance charge and not my late charges or principal balance and I am STILL being charged additional late fees on top of the late fees.

This is the most unethical practice I have seen from a financial institution. I want my overage to be applied to my late fees so that your company can stop increasing finance charges over what I am already being charged. What TERRIBLE bad practice your company is doing and I will be writing a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs as well as going on every social media platform to disclose what your company has been doing to me.

In addition, I am requesting a change in my due date as it is difficult for me to pay both my mortgage and Car note on the 2nd of every month. I was told when I first bought my car that I could change the date but for some reason NO ONE at Ally has been willing to help me do this. I guess you won't be able to steal additional money from me if I can actually pay my car note on time. Please respond to me in writing via email at **. The last representative hung up on me when he was unable to explain why I am being charged late fees on top of late fees when I have covered well BEYOND the late fees since last year.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES choose this company Ally! This company is the biggest scam with the world's most incompetent and derelict representatives who are probably all working part time at Target because they don’t get paid any more than minimum wage. Their customer service is to be compared to that of a ** pencil eraser! My husband was hit in his F350 by a semi truck making an illegal wide turn from a middle lane. He’s lucky to be alive and still continues to see chiropractor physical therapist and a neurologist due to the accident.

His truck was totaled mind you. It is a beast of a truck but my point is when it came down to the gap claim Ally let me get them all the documents that I gave up so much time from work to deal with the bank the insurance company and calling for five times a week over the course of three months of my life. They kept telling me that they didn’t receive some of the paperwork when I would send documents in a PDF file and email them to them. After three months of dealing with them and I got them the final document I called them the week after and they told me that they had processed the claim did the review process and they denied my claim because even though my husband wasn’t at fault we paid out-of-pocket for the rental truck.

His truck was in pieces and totaled out. We were left with almost 2 months without a vehicle trying to get back-and-forth to work and picking up my kids and taking them to school each day. They denied it because they said that even though my husband wasn’t at fault from being hit by the semi truck driver they told me that they were denying the claim because he had a suspended license which is a lie since he wasn’t even aware of my husband would’ve never been driving on a suspended license. We’ve been together for 14 years. A week prior when he was hauling some material in a tiny ** truck that we were given as a rental he was pulled over by a police officer stating that his load was packed too high in the small bed of this truck. His license was ran and he was sent away with no citation whatsoever.

There was no mention of a suspended license but yet a week later when he gets in an accident the police officer that he stood with for more than an hour at the scene didn’t even pull it up either until hours later after the accident. She had reached out to him and told him that by the way he has a suspended license which she was dumbfounded to find out because he couldn’t make sense of why his license would be suspended. None of the less Ally denied our claim and now we are owing on the truck almost $9000 and have lost so much of our time our life our money that our lifestyle and I am challenging Ally Bank at this time with a great attorney team and I will keep you updated. I hope that my experience helps you make a decision to stay far away from this company and their rude ** customer service reps that they hire.

Customer service at this company is non-existent. The way to contact a live representative changes almost every day. A built in chat through their website became a messaging system that has no way to track your own messages. If you try to call their listed customer service line it tells you about all these "great" offers you are eligible for and get stuck in a sweepstakes line with no way to get a hold of them. If you call one of the alternate lines to their loan agent department the call will disconnect (read: you will be hung on) 3-4 times and you have to call back into the queue to wait for somebody to finally take your call.

You will never speak to a state-side representative and if the representative doesn't want to help you they will just hang up on you. Asking to be transferred to a supervisor is a 100% guarantee that you will be hung up on. I've spoken to a representative of their corporate offices and they made no effort to address the concerns about their call centers. The only thing those folks want is to find the fastest way to tell you they "cannot" (read: won't) help you and get you off the line. If there was a Zero Star system this company would be rated a negative five.

The next month I barely made my payment so I paid a small portion of the late fee. The next month I made my payment on time but a late fee was added. I called and was told it was due to the fact that my account was behind. Not paying the entire late fee incurred another late fee. I eventually was so far behind I asked my divorce lawyer for advice. He said I was better off letting them take it, it's easy to bounce back these days. I tried one more time and they wouldn't budge on late fees so I quit paying. I put my payments in savings and drove for free for 3 months. They took the car at midnight, not going to lie I felt like a failure but two days later I had a new car with a different company, a more affordable payment and zero issues.

I set my vehicle payment through my banking institution, forgot that I did so while on vacation. So I went directly to their website and made a payment. Next morning (Payday) I see two payments are deducted from my bank account. Instantly called Ally to refund one payment. The lady saw the online payment and stated that she could not reverse it because IT ALREADY posted. So I called my bank and they said it POSTED as well. Of course it I was able to see 2 payments deducted. I call Ally back, Lady said she sees online payment posted but would need it to clear. WHAT!?!! When a payment posts... it's clear. She proceeded to tell me that she would watch my account then overnight a payment. Because refund needed to be in check form. What?! So Ally (a bank) can accept payments electronically but CANNOT refund a payment electronically?!?!

After a week of no money I called back, asked for the same lady, now she says I would have to wait 10 days for it to clear, then another 10 days to receive a check in my mailbox.??? It took 3 weeks to receive my payment. So folks... you can pay your bill on time, pay it electronically, but this company cannot help you. I will NEVER do business with then again. I asked for manager or gm... They NEVER told me who it was nor would they transfer me to one. Even the dollar store can refund electronically, BUT A BANKING institution CANNOT?!?! This floors me. Pissed is an understatement, after 3 weeks I'm STILL pissed off. Signed a woman that will NEVER do business with you again!!!

I just traded my car in at a highly known dealership and to get away from them this past Saturday and they are calling me telling me I need to pay off my car because they got the loan with me. Like, are you kidding me? My payments were $557 and I paid $600 every month and some days they would take my payment the same day and majority of the time they would wait at least two weeks which tacked on late fees after late fees.

Every time you call Ally it’s some foreigner and they are extremely rude. One told me to get a job if I can’t make my car payment. I have bank statements for every month since July 2013 and it was never good enough to tell them they were wrong or to show the proof. I have also been married since I had the car and I sent them my paperwork 7 TIMES to verify I was married and they never changed my name so every time I called it was my previously married name they would call me by. If you can avoid this company do so. Do not ever get stuck with these people. Rudest people to deal with and a big pain.

Bronze Start Veteran has vehicle repossessed. I bought a 2007 Dodge Durango back in 2014. This year in June, Ally canceled my automatic payments that I have been making for four years. I was not paying attention and the loan went delinquent for 120 days. They showed up one day and repossessed the vehicle. After calling Ally, they informed me that they sent a ONE (1) letter in which I never received. They NEVER called or sent a CERTIFIED letter so that someone had to sign for it. NO, they just showed up and picked up my vehicle out of the blue. The vehicle already has 168,000 miles, the LR quarter panel is all rusted out and the engine was starting to have a hard time starting. All in all, I would not pay more than $2,000 if I bought that vehicle today.

I call Ally and see what we can work out to get the vehicle back. They inform me that it will take a full payment of $6,000 and some change along with the REPO fees. Luckily my truck gets paid off next month and me and my wife were planning on putting $1000 a month in a account and just paying $12,000 cash on a new vehicle every year if we want or use the lump sum for emergency house repairs. Either way, Ally isn't seeing one dime for this vehicle in which they don't care anyways. The principal was paid in 3.5 years, so they only made 6 months worth of a profit and are going to eat the rest on the REPO fees, auction fees, and document fees. I just don't know how a business survives on this model. GMAC helps spur the housing crisis and now they are doing the same thing with the auto industry. When are the ** in D.C. going to stop these guys.

In 2013 I made a desperate purchase of a vehicle late at night after my vehicle died. Ally Financial is who provided the loan at a high interest rate, based on, I found out later, the claim that my previous vehicle purchased under GMAC had been reclaimed. This was not only untrue, but the vehicle had been paid off in full, and GMAC is who Ally USED To be. The vehicle was purchased from Hyundai and was involved in a class action lawsuit that included the two companies. The vehicle gas mileage was greatly exaggerated and ALLY routinely hiked interest rates. I tried the very next day to cancel my purchase and was denied, unlawfully to do so. I eventually returned my vehicle in less than a year as an owner surrender for a number of reasons not limited to the above mentioned class action lawsuit reasons.

Ally then took possession of the vehicle back, and resold it, but continued to harass me for full payment. Now, four years later they slammed me with a negative on my credit. My otherwise perfect credit. This company refused to clean up their incorrect information of my previous vehicle and I had to hunt down the title from the individuals I sold it to to get that changed. Now, they are hounding me for money that I do not owe, and that they have already recovered from another sale. This company needs to be shut down for good. They create predatory loans and give you no recourse to address. Consumers affairs also needs to review the safety of vehicles like the Hyundai Accent that have small wheel wells. One of the reasons for owner surrender was because they would pack full of snow while driving and prevent full turning capabilities. It almost killed me in a thirty minute drive and I barely pulled over to safety.

I had paid up one of those payments so I'm only behind one in the last 4 years but now they seem to have forgotten to take out my automatic payments so it looks like all of my payments in 2018 are late if you have an automatic payment wouldn't you think that they would come out automatically. If I could give no stars I would. No contact I have had with this company in regard to our loan has ever been pleasant. I normally pay my auto loan via the Internet for convenience. However, this month I was not able to. When I attempted to log on I get a message back stating I don’t not have an account. So, I called to attempt to make a payment over the phone. At this point the customer service rep Mary tells me she can’t take my payment and I have to be transferred to the consumer resolution department because I’ve filed for bankruptcy. That’s definitely news to me as I have not filed for bankruptcy and am simply trying to make my monthly payment. Of course, the consumer resolution department is currently closed though so I’m told I’ll have to call back on Monday. My payment is due today. I asked to speak to a supervisor and Angie gets on the phone.

I asked Angie why I couldn’t make a payment and she also tells me that they can’t accept payment from me because I’ve filed bankruptcy. I assure her that I have NOT filed bankruptcy and that I just want to make a payment. Angie then tells me that she can’t take a payment from me and my bankruptcy lawyer will have to call Ally on Monday to resolve my inability to make a payment. I explain again that I have not filed for bankruptcy and therefore do not have a bankruptcy lawyer who can call Ally on Monday. Then Angie asks if I have an attorney at all and I explain that I hired a credit repair company in March, but that has nothing to do with me making a payment today. And, has not had anything to do with any of the payments I’ve made since then until today. Angie continues to state she can’t take my payment and my lawyer has to call Ally.

I asked multiple times to speak to Angie’s supervisor and was told no. I repeatedly asked to simply be able to make a payment today and was told no. I asked when I was going to be notified that the account had been locked due to my non-existent bankruptcy so that I could have tried to resolve this BEFORE my payment was due and no answer was given. So, long story a little shorter, Ally has refused to take my payment today because they insist that I have filed bankruptcy instead of just attempting to have my credit repaired, and I will not be able to make any payments on my account until my bankruptcy lawyer calls them directly. Now, due to the ineptness that permeates from Ally Financial, my payment will be late and I’m sure they’ll charge me late fees. Not really sure how I’m supposed to ever get this resolved since I have no bankruptcy lawyer. For crying out loud!!

At this time, it was a sales team who knew about the car and looked like they have been interested in customer satisfaction. In the next 3 years of this lease, all of this people disappeared and a service disappeared as well. At one time, they took my car for regular maintenance service and kept for it for a week without loaner car to offer and I paid lease for a week without having a car. Every time when had to use the service there was some kind mistake. Once I came to look for a new Levante and salesperson even did not know basics about a car. But worse came at the end of the lease. I had two other cars to drive, so I kept the Maserati, basically as an exotic car with very little use. I had more than 12000 miles unused. It was a car in a perfect condition.

I got a letter from Maserati to do a pre inspection at the end of the lease, when I called the dealership they said it's not necessary. In May, I went oversees and I asked my wife to return the car about 3 weeks before lease expired. She returned the car and has been told that everything fine, but the dealership didn’t return or cancel car plates for 2 months. Just accidentally I found out later that I still paying the insurance on returned vehicle and the plates never been returned. The worse came later, l received a letter from financing company claiming nonexisting excess wear and tear absolutely made up story for $1460.94. I completely deny these charges and would like to be reimbursed my security deposit and one month of the completely unnecessary charges for the insurance.

Three weeks after the car was returned some kind of a so called third party without a client present made up a false assessment about excess wear and it looks to me like an extortion. I actually liked a car and was thinking about leasing a Levante, but after that will never do. I have been leasing cars for many years and never had this kind of experience. Ally financing are complete crooks and dealership knows about them for sure, being in one bed with them they just helping them to screw you. Do not lease do not sign with Ally.

The loan process was easy, the payment online was also easy, and the interest rate was a bit high. My biggest complaint with the company is customer service. I expect a bank to work with me to help with mistakes happen. The representative I spoke with read from a script and kept repeating herself instead of thinking outside the box to fix a problem of their doing.

I requested pay off on July 7th, 2018. their automated service told me the 10 day pay off which I wrote down and sent the payment. After 15 days I had not seen the lien release so I logged into my account to find I still owed almost $300. As stated above... read from a script. Not only did I have to pay the extra $300 I was not given an explanation for the automated service mistake. She kept reading from a script about how the automated service works. Then she stated that if I wanted the lien release I would have to wait 20 days for processing and shipment via USPS. I asked if I could get the lien release via electronic transmission; no I had to wait for USPS. She did say if I paid cash she could waive a ten day waiting period; so I would have to go to a Western Union or other money transfer service to save ten days but still waiting for the slow mail.

Read from a script the whole time!!! Spent five mintues waiting for a new pay off amount while she rambled on their speech with all the disclaimers. I tried to interrupt and request just the pay off not the full address of legal speech; started over and read the whole speech anyways! She could not deviate from the written script in front of her. I will NEVER do business with a remote bank again. If I can't walk down to my neighborhood bank, speak face to face with a human being, then I will not borrow money. Sad thing is Ally found out we are buying a new house and have been sending us mortgage offers which we were considering. FAT CHANCE NOW, cold day in hell before doing business with a company who directs their employees not to deviate from a script and help a customer. Especially when it's the company's fault!!!

I have been with Ally bank for three years. I have never missed a payment. I have other loans with Hyundai and BMW as well. I tried to sign up for automatic payments, and each time I did this, there was an error saying, "Come back later." I am very busy running two companies, and most of my payments are on auto pay. I had forgotten about it, and missed one payment. I wasn’t aware of it until I went on my credit report, and it showed I had missed two payments!

I called Ally, and they were nice enough, but they kept putting me on hold, and said I had to speak to multiple reps etc. I told them it was a mistake, and can they remove the late payment from my credit report. My score took a 40 point hit! They said they would contact the credit department and see if they could give me a one time courtesy in removing the late payment from my credit. The gentleman gave me his extension and told me to call back in a few days. When I called him back a few days later, I left a message for him to return my call. I never heard back from him. I checked my report and the late payment was still there. They removed the two late payments, but kept the one I did miss, on my report.

I understand it was my fault. I get that. My issue is, I have been an excellent customer for the last three years, yet they couldn’t remove that mark as a one time courtesy knowing I have been on time throughout the course of my loan? I have had banks work with me when there may have been an oversight and other financial companies will do the same. This company is awful, and I will never work with them again. My credit score will climb back up soon enough because I have multiple loans and credit I pay on time every month. I run two companies myself, and I always work with my customers.

I buy automobiles for my business quite frequently, and I will make sure I never get another auto loan from this company. Here’s a tip for you Ally... Try working with your customers, especially with customers who pay on time every month for years. Mistakes happen. I could see if I was late every month, or every other month, then I will take the hit, but I wasn’t. You lost a good customer once my loan is paid off, and I will make sure to never recommend your services to other business owners I deal with.

This is along with being put on hold over and over again. We paid the extra money for certified funds and extra money to overnight the payment. This is following a supervisors instructions. She then informed us that 48 hours after the check is received that we would have access to the lien release.

The 48 hours came and went with every story in the book from the reps and their supervisors. We were even told that we did not send a certified check. We had them call the bank so the bank could explain what certified funds are. The fact that this is a finance company and they don't have a clue on what certified funds are or how to release a lien makes me want to let you all know that you are better off paying a higher interest rate and deal with competent representatives that know what their jobs are and how to deal with people and what they are requesting not just put you on hold. It is not right to have to go through weeks of calling for something that you are entitled to after paying the money that we do. Be VERY careful of Ally!

WOW. It can't be worse than this. I tried to open a bank account with Ally, and it ended up a real horrible experience. They asked me a DL, SSN card, utility bill, and I sent them except SSN card-I explained them I mind sending it thru online. Then fraud dep. called me asking a utility bill. I said I sent it, but somehow she (Regina, what a stubborn!) kept asking me another bill. I live on all bill paid apt. so that cable bill was the only utility bill. But she seemed to be very stubborn. I still can't understand why DL can't prove my address and the utility bill either. Just she's being an idiot? No other bank required me other than DL. So I wanted to close the account. The person I talked said 'we will close it on Mon and we will mail a check'. NOTHING HAPPENED.

So I called them again, and ended up talking to Regina (they stood on line for 40 min to figure out where my phone goes). She now checked I sent a utility bill!!! She was asking me if I wanted to keep the account, but I still wanted to cancel. Then she said my fund will be back to my original source up to 5 business days without any interests! WOW. Besides, the customer service people were horrible too. Their voice and attitude were just like people who work in DMV. I have talked over 10 people so far, but one ONE person was really tried to help and nice.

They don't have any customer service channel either. I tried to email about their horrible service, but there's nothing but the phone which I hate-they ask so many security questions, even it takes longer if you meet a dumb person. Their app sucks too. The layout is like a maze and the camera flash doesn't on automatically for depositing checks. I have an account with Discover bank too. Please go there, they rock on everything! Really, never use Ally bank!

First I will address why you do NOT EVER, as in NEVER EVER want to use ALLY FINANCIAL as your automobile financial institution and perhaps take any other means of transportation, even if it means you're walking to your daughter's wedding... Everything you have read in the reviews before reading mine is 100% accurate about this... and I use the term in the most loose definition... business!

They will haunt and torment you the day after your payment due date up to 20+ times a day calling you from up to 15-20 different phone numbers, but it is likely even more than that. I received upwards of 20 calls a day from all different phone numbers and many from the same exchange as my own phone number. It is their pathetic attempt to trick you to answer their call. Apparently Ally truly believes that all of their customers that are late are lowlife criminal types who CAN pay but just choose NOT to... which as we all know, is not true at all!

My dad died from a 3 month battle with oral cancer. He died at home weighing 90 lbs as I would not and could not put him in a hospital or hospice. That same week my furnace went and I lost my health insurance. This was Nov 2017. 3 mos later, my 39 yr old brother was shot and killed, by my son, age 21 when he tried breaking into our home, undoubtedly because he was mentally ill and had a schizophrenic break. This was my 2nd brother I have lost due to homicide by gunshot. When my dad died, I lost $2500 a month in income. I have an income of $1175 on disability and I own a house that is paid off and I am trying very hard to keep.

I asked Ally to please work with me, they would not at the time I was 3 mos behind on my car payments. Fast forward to a few days ago when the repo people show up at 3 AM to take back the car that I desired them to do so. At $311 a month, car ins $160 a mo. I couldn't slightly afford. I had a feeling they were coming, despite no prior warning from Ally because I truly feel they want you to have your personal belongings in the car. This is so they may attempt to extort money from you because you want your stuff back. Not this time Ally!!!

The 3 AM repo men, despite having the car up off the ground and hooked up, were out there in my driveway for 45 minutes. They were shining the brightest LED flashlights in every window of my house and no doubt my neighbor's windows also, in an attempt to make sure they watched the "lowlife's" car being taken back! My dog barked loudly and continuously for those 45 mins... like can this company conduct themselves in a mature manner in any area?

How it pays for Ally to not work with people and prefer to take a car with many more dents, bings and scratches, balding tires, headlight out and a ticking motor, just to mention a mere few things... to the auction and get no doubt 1/4 if even of what I still owe them and think they'll ever see another penny off of anyone that has had their car repossessed is bewildering to me! Uh I need to buy another vehicle with another monthly payment Ally! How IS every Ally employee, esp the higher ups, not all in jail for illegal practices?

I purchased a vehicle on August 5, 2015 and financed with Ally. August 28, 2015 Ally began harassing me saying that I missed my first payment. I stated via the paperwork that I signed that my first wasn't due until September 5, 2015. Ally charged me a late fee. They refused to remove the late fee and said that my payments will now be due on the 27th of each month instead of the 5th. Each month Ally charged me a late fee and harassed me via phone at least 10 times per day. On December 23, 2015, Ally sent a tow truck to my residence to get the vehicle because according to them, I was not behind on my vehicle payments but I had late fee payments that totaled $162. Ally said that the only way they would accept the late fee payments is if I paid the late fees in addition to two future car payments.

I know for a fact that is illegal. 3 months later I received info from Ally that the vehicle was sold for $11,000 and they told me that I was responsible for the balance of $5,000. Ally began sending communication demanding the balance, which I did not have. In July 2018, I noticed that my wages were garnished for $371 because of Ally. They never sent me any paperwork concerning a court judgment, hearing or anything. Upon further investigation, I learned that Ally had sent paperwork to an address that I never lived at. They lied to the judge and said that they sent a summons to me. After comparing the numerous letters that Ally sent to my correct address and the summons that was sent to the fake address. The judge found out that Ally was lying. They are scam artists who will harass you daily. Do not do business with this company.

I had purchased a car using Ally due to a plummet in my credit score. They were the only financial institution that would give me a loan. I had lost my job for close to a year and was just getting slowly back on my feet when I found myself with a totalled vehicle and the absolute necessity to quickly find another (accident wasn't my fault, in fact, I was sitting in a restaurant with my husband, daughter and in-laws when a waitress told me someone had creamed my car in their parking lot). So Ally gave me a chance. After being forced to sell my home or have it repossessed, going through my husband losing his job, our daughter having sudden sporadic seizures and myself having medical issues that required time off work and additional medical bills, I was late from time to time. I received letters saying how much I owed in late fees but never the actual total owed.

I also received more phone messages than I care to think about, and to top it all off, they called MY FATHER! (I'm 35!!!) who was NOT in ANY of the info I'd given them for the loan! I had made good faith payments twice this month but apparently they decided to take my car anyway. So at 10:30 pm a tow truck came and repoed the car. I got onto the app I used to make payments but it already said I had no vehicles to view. Couldn't see my past transactions or any other info at all. I had to search my bank account transactions to find them all.

They also reported my payment history to all the credit bureaus differently (when I paid on time or not was different for each bureau multiple times). I tried to call them and find out how to proceed, but the 2 times I called they only transferred me to the Redemption dept, which was closed for the day. I had told the 2nd operator that but she transferred me anyway. I guess she didn't want to deal with looking my info up. After all is said and done, Ally has now give me more to deal with than I already have, I will NEVER, EVER GO BACK TO THIS COMPANY.

Which means their hours aren’t remotely similar to the times an actual dealership is open. And nevermind the fact that there are other time zones than Eastern time. Additionally, they have a convoluted pay off system. Most banks have one amount. Not Ally. You get your buyout amount as the consumer, but your dealership pay off amount can be totally different. But again, you better hope you can get to the dealership during the times that are convenient for Ally Financial dealership department. The whole process is absolutely absurd.

I purchased a vehicle from Carmax in PA, Ally was the financial lien holder the car was grossly overpriced and living in the North I made the mistake of purchasing a 2 wheel drive vehicle instead of all wheel drive. After having 3 close calls with the vehicle while driving in inclement weather with my children. I started to research if I can trade in the car and purchase a safer vehicle. I took the vehicle to the dealer and asked them to work with Ally to get me approved to trade in and when I got there the car was top down at 10000, I had already made significant payments for 2 1/2 years on the vehicle at almost 900 a month. Ally refused financing me on the trade in.

After having a winter of a few snow storms and dealing with the unsafe vehicle, I called Ally to come get the vehicle from me because I was voluntarily turning it in. I owed no payments I was never late, and negotiating with them is difficult. I also asked to refinance the loan to possible get the car sold and they came back with a price that were no different from my initial car loan payment. I also had fair credit, enough to qualify for a BMW at the time to where I went.

After Ally picked up the car I heard nothing back from them, it may have been a year ago from 2015 to 2017 I noticed they placed a balance of 8000 on my credit account and have me down as a repo and not an involuntary repo. In contacting them they have not provided me with any auction info, I was never made aware of any information and they have never offered to take the amount and gift it to me so that I can just owe it on my taxes. I am tired of trying to figure out what to do but I need these people exposed. People with good credit get taken for a ride with them and they have deceptive practices. They recently sent me a new bill with no particulars asking me to close it out or settle but I have no clue what I will be settling for. My question is had they sold the car for a profit would they have sent me a check for the amount they got in surplus or would they have kept the profit?

Potential fraud From Ally to hide vehicle condition - I leased a Ram 1500 from a dealership in Michigan in February 2017. The truck was leased with Ally Financial. I have leased vehicles before with different companies and never had any problems. I’m learning the hard way with Ally. First let me say that their customer service is non existent and the only reason why they bother talking TO you, not WITH you, is because they know you will have to pay them somehow.

At the end of August 2017, my truck was flooded due to torrential rains and “flash flood” on the highway. I contacted the insurance and Ally. Ally lease agreements state that they must be notified for any sort of damage other than “normal wear and tear”. The truck had water inside, in the floor vents and under seat storage. Ally categorically refused to allow me to do a 3rd party inspection for the vehicle before it was repaired. After numerous phone calls, emails thru Ally message portal, certified mail and many good faith attempts to have a simple problem resolved, I advised Ally that the vehicle was at the body shop ready for pickup and I could not in good faith accept the vehicle with the possibility of mold and electrical issues. I was also advised that it was “not my vehicle” but VAUL which I was told was a branch of Ally Financial.

I contacted the MI State Attorney General for assistance as well as other agencies. Approximately in November 2017 Ally deleted my online account, posted a message stating I did not have a vehicle with them as well as I have never made a payment or had an account with them. They stopped sending monthly statements around October 2017. After legal consultation, I was advised to pick the vehicle up at the body shop if Ally did not pick it up or contact me (I did so mid February).

After receiving multiple calls and voicemails from an “investigator Mike **” with different phone numbers, I attempted to contact Ally end of February. I spent hours playing the phone games of different departments. Finally I was advised that they could not speak with me. I tried again the next day and a rep at Ally told me that they would send me a letter for me to agree to make the remaining payments by March 15th. They never sent said letter or email or phone call as the truck was taken around March 13 2018. The “investigator Mike **” could only say he was hired by Ally and that’s it.

To summarize, Ally financial refused to acknowledge the vehicle was flood damaged according to Michigan law. This information was given to the Attorney General’s office. Ally refused to acknowledge that the vehicle was damaged for lease turn in purposes. As a flood damaged vehicle, the “normal wear and tear” condition is void by default. Ally somehow changed my address on my credit report to a lawyer's office in Dearborn, without my consent or knowledge until weeks after they did it. Ally has misreported inaccurate and incorrect information on my report since October.

The credit bureaus and Ally have refused to correct my personal information, the balance history, type of loan despite the numerous certified letters with supporting documentation. Ally contracted a company to locate the truck misrepresenting themselves as “investigator Mike **” despite Ally being advised since At least September 2017 that the vehicle was at the body shop ready for their pick up. Along with this confusion, I have asked for verification as I received a message stating I never had a vehicle or account with Ally. I’ve made multiple attempts to correct information on credit report due to Ally without success.

Ally has been stalling and ruining my credit worthiness with their inaction, deception and inaccurate and incorrect information being reported to the bureaus. I have received no letters or calls or anything regarding redemption period (as Ally has the vehicle) or deficiency notice or anything at all. It has been since March 13 2018. My family and I have been suffering thru this nightmare since September 2017 and Ally has made it nearly impossible for me to move forward with their inaction. I have just recently re contacted the Attorney General, Ally and the credit bureaus detailing this problem. Do not under any circumstance use Ally for any sort of financing.

2013 Ford Fusion - They repossessed my car and want $1700 to recover it. Ally told us to wire cash through companies like Western Union. After 2 days of nonstop arguments with their reps and proving each rep was lying, I had decided to pay them tomorrow, get my car back and then take them to court. BUT, I read a post on here about how Ally used the Western Union scam to get coincidentally $1700 from someone in the same situation as me that ended in Ally claiming they didn't get the money even though it went through and still didn't return the car, I have decided not to send them a dime.

Then I had plans on sending them my bank statements to prove Ally was wrong in claiming I had 4 missed payments which caused excessive late fees, guess what! There is another post stating even after a consumer sent bank statements, Ally still claims they didn't get the payment. And my similarities to others on here goes on. Such as unauthorized extra payments that caused a loss of income to my bank for overdraft fees.

My credit is ruined which not only means it is going to be near impossible for me to get another car. Not only that when applying for promotions or better paying jobs, my bad credit score hurts my chances during the interview process. Ally rep in their Dallas location stated they sent me a repo notice on May 21. Ally took my car on May 20. Lots of good the notice does me when IF I get one. "Ray Ray" from Dallas read the contract. "B-little" from Dallas stated they aren't obligated to give notice of repo. The contract says a required notice of 10 days prior not after "Ray Ray!" He was so disrespectful by calling me Mrs. Marsha repeatedly as if to insult me.

After requesting he address me by my last name, he continued to smugly say my first name in an insulting, belittling manner. Hey "Ray Ray" and "B-little", little boys insult to feel better about themselves. Most boys grow out of it. Guess you didn't. First Ally will harass EXCESSIVELY with computer. Calls. When you call, you end up hung up on. Computer system is always down. Ally makes it near impossible to make a payment. ALLY's goal: make it very hard to pay and the consumer gives up that day with intent to pay the next day gets busy with life and forgets. Predator lending, I didn't fall for the distract technique. The outsourcing of jobs to other countries is ridiculous because you can never understand the person you are talking to. I asked her why they were calling me for a 9 day past due payment when I have a 15 day grace period before they charge a late fee. Aside sending your statement. Even if you're late in a few days, they go after you like pit bulls. They call anybody that has the same last name as yours. Then there's family fights. Ally are also very high in rates. So if you are are buying cars make sure never to use ALLY. YOU WILL BE HARASSED, INSULTED. They own your soul... Ally auto finance rates must be so low that many car dealerships utilizes their auto financing services; however, the services provided to the consumers are horrendous. This company appears to outsource all customer service calls to overseas call centers, which sounds like a good idea because they’re employing folks that have no problem taking on smaller wages but it’s a terrible experience when Ally doesn’t have a normal phone line to call into in the US.

The fact that no one can’t call or chat or email Ally without an online account is absurd. I literally wasted more than 80 minutes and talked with 6-7 agents (overseas) to get one simple thing accomplished; establish an online account and pay my monthly car lease. I was finally able to get a manager (10+ days later) to help but the process was exhausting. By the time I got help, my payment was going to be late so I had to pay extra fees to expedite the payment. I’ve already told the Dealership to not ask me to buy another car if they’re using Ally. My lease is only a 24 month lease and I’m exploring options on how to pay it off sooner and get rid of the car.

Ally did an auto debit to my account for a payment NOT due, but can only mail a refund??!! Spoke to their Fraud Dept. but they don't look into these things - not sure who at Ally does or if they do. First off I’m not a “verified buyer” because they won’t accept any form of payment from me. After seeing all these 1 star ratings, I felt that I need to let everyone know exactly how awful they are and the worst part is... they will not ACCEPT my FIRST payment! As if they are trying to ruin my credit and force me into paying late fees. I only think this because their app and website is rigged and they forced me to pay over the phone with extra finance charges... and then refused that payment after giving me a confirmation number.

April 30th my payment was due. I set up auto pay. 8pm on the 30th I call because they haven’t taken it out. I then realize it’s not set up because I didn’t select WHEN I want them to start taking payments. The option was for the FIRST payment or SECOND payment. So I select first like any normal person would (why is this even a thing to have to select). They say it takes 24 hours to process. 48 hours later May 2nd I check my bank. MONEY'S STILL THERE. Check their app and it says pending for MAY. I called these idiots and they tell me it went through and the pending status I see on their app for MAY is pending until they take it out for May. May 3rd I get a voicemail from them saying my payment is PAST DUE. I call AGAIN and I lose it.

I repeatedly tell them I don’t trust their online app or website and want to pay over the phone WITHOUT FEES and they “can’t”. They then tell me the amount came back because my routing number isn’t right. I hung up. I try to edit my auto pay settings and change that number... it won’t let me save it!!! Not only that but even if I could save the changes the “select start date” only has MAY not APRIL. I call, I freak out, I pay over the phone, at this case I’m angry. I don’t even care that they take a fee. I’m not having my credit RUINED because of these scum bags. I got a confirmation number I wrote down and everything.

I check my bank today to pay another bill today and THE MONEY IS RETURNED INTO MY BANK. I am requesting another bank for the loan through the dealership and if that doesn’t work I’m begging my bank and would GLADLY pay double maybe even triple to get out of this loan with Ally Bank. I refuse to be harassed and toyed with. Ally Bank is by far the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. You’re better off homeless and carless living in a city than ever ask for help from Ally Bank.

May 2016 bought a near new 2015 Dodge Challenger from a local Dodge dealership. Ally Financial was the lender. In the dealership contract we initially included for a fee ($3500) an additional maintenance/repair coverage warranty. The dealership's policy stated if within 30 days you decide you don't want the warranty it will be refunded. Within a few days we added this vehicle to our auto insurance policy and the same extra warranty is included free. I immediately in person returned to the dealership and informed them we are already covered and I requested a refund. They had me sign a cxl document and they would forward this to Ally. I documented on the form that a copy of this credit on the loan contract be sent to me so I would know it's been completed and I would have a hard copy for my records.

A few weeks later Ally sent me a copy of the original contract with no record of a credit. I called the dealership, they stated it was forwarded to Ally. I called Ally 4x asking, requesting...NO COPY OR RECORD OF RECEIPT HAS EVER BEEN SENT TO ME. Here I am two years later... I paid my loan off approx 40 months early, no title and no hard copy that the $3500 was credited to my loan. On the title today I was told by the dealership as well as Ally that "THEY NO LONGER HAVE A VESTED INTEREST IN THIS VEHICLE." The last person I spoke with, Imee, continually contradicted themselves about the final purchase option cost. My paperwork states one dollar amount however Ally is trying to drive that cost up by $383.00. How does that work?

After a lot of back and forth, Imee said that the additional $383.00 I was being bilked for was because I wasn't going through Ally to purchase my vehicle. I'm sorry... Excuse me? I'm being forced to pay a fine for going elsewhere? How is that the consumer's problem if we choose to go through another bank (with a far better interest rate)??? That's like paying more for a shirt at one store because the other stores are selling the same item for a sale price? I'm not going to let this slide and will continue to call until I get someone there to do the right thing and give me the buyout letter for what my contract states. Every time I speak to someone at Ally, I am lied to time and time again. Depending on who you talk to, you get a different story each time. Stop trying to rip people off!

I called 3 different times to confirm the payoff arrangements needed to ensure that my title would be expedited to me so I could complete the sale of my truck. I was assured that a certified fund bank check would assure me the title would be mailed to me within 3-5 business days. I obtained the funds, overnighted the check and waited for my title. I am now waiting 8 days and the title has not been received. Apparently, NJ has a waiting period before the title can be sent. This was never told to me in any previous conversations.

They also tried to accuse me of not providing the correct method of payment as a reason for the delay. I became irate at their accusations. I finally was transferred to a supervisor who explained the reason for the delay. At this point I have no recourse but to wait, my buyer has been very patient. If I had been given correct information initially I would have made certain that this transaction would have held no promises to the buyer or been completed earlier. If the phone center people are given responsibility to provide information I expect to be given correct information not scripted lies. I will certainly consider using another company in the future.

Was called promptly after I submitted a review and they reconciled the matter.

    Original Review: April 9, 2018

When I initially opened the account, I was guaranteed an APY (Annual Percentage Yield) of 1.45% for opening an online savings account. I open the account with a balance exceeding $5,000 and the first earnings are deposited to my account, $2.13. I figured for a while that it may have an increment that would soon reconcile the remaining interest owed. When I call, for a total of 7 phone calls, they’re unable to answer my question as to why they paid me that amount, perhaps because they know quite clearly that it’s incorrect. They were evasive, and would put me on hold every time I would ask which makes it all the more suspicious. As a result of all this, I am now locked out of my account with my money on hold. I have a transfer that’s going in effect today for more than $800. I am concerned that they’re going to claim that I never had an account with them and destroy any evidence resulting in my money being stolen.

I have never had a problem with this company up until March 4th when I realized that the payment I made came out of the wrong account. I immediately contacted this company and asked for the payment to be reversed. I was told that they only do refunds through the mail in which they hold the check for 10 business days and release it which should take 5 to 7 days. I agreed for it to be mailed and I waited the time frame.

On March 27th I called this company 4 times and spoke with different agents. Some were nice some were rude and didn’t know what they were doing. Having this team of irresponsible, negligent individuals finance the lease of my first car was the biggest mistake I have ever made. Not only are you on hold for at least 30 minutes before you speak with a live agent, but when you do, they are rude, and unwilling to help. I called this morning because I received a letter in the mail stating they had informed the credit bureaus about a late payment, missed payment or other default on my account. This could not possibly be correct as I have never made a late payment let alone miss one.

I called in today hoping to resolve this misunderstanding as I am unable to access my account online and the agent who answered the phone, did not even greet me (customer service 101), and just asked for my account number. She then said she had never heard of that letter before and had no idea why I had received that. I expressed my frustration to her and she said I could always refinance my car again. I told her I was not sure I’d want to do that with Ally financial due to several issues I’ve had with them already, and instead of doing her job as a customer service representative and trying to work through a resolution with me -THE CUSTOMER- she just brushed me off and said, "Well I did not mean with us but with whoever you want." Feeling like she was trying to mock me, I asked to speak with a manager, to which she said, "Sure. I’ll send you to voicemail," and HUNG UP!! Are they serious?

I am extremely displeased with the service and I DO NOT recommend Ally Financial at all. They will just ruin your credit by providing FALSE information to the bureaus and not even return a call to even attempt to resolve an issue. Do not even bother asking to speak with a manager… Save your breath because you will be sent to an unchecked mailbox and never receive a follow up. They are misleading, bad-mannered, and unreliable. I will definitely be reporting them- they are a SCAM. Jeffrey Brown should be ashamed of himself or whoever is overseeing the daily operations for this company – with 9.866 billion in revenue in 2017 you would think they would invest in customer service and training. Back in 2015 I leased a car from a dealer, and the dealer processed the lease through Ally Bank. I actually had no problems with Ally during the period of my lease, however, I wanted to extend the lease by a month or two so I called Ally to inquire how to do this. I spoke with a customer service representative named "Jasmine" who told me that it would be no problem, and quoted me terms that would essentially allow me to continue to making the same lease payments for 2 additional months, plus I would have to pay a processing fee that was about the same as a single lease payment. Ok, no problem. However, I was told that I could not enter into this agreement until I made the last lease payment. I was not told there was any kind of time limit after making the last payment before I could extend the lease, so I waited.

About two weeks after this call, I call back and somehow spoke to the same person (Jasmine), and I requested for the lease to be extended since I had already made the last payment. I was then given an enormous amount that was more than three times what I was originally quoted. I asked why, and "Jasmine" started simply stating the same thing over and over again, or reading from a script, or explaining the terms of the lease, but refused to answer my questions. She kept speaking over me and raising her voice or speaking in a very condescending and abusive way. She kept telling me that since the lease is ending, I can no longer enter into that agreement and that I should have done this BEFORE making the last payment. Remember, she originally told me I had to wait until I made the LAST payment.

I asked to speak to someone else since she was being so rude with me and I was put on hold. I then got connected to someone with the same exact voice and accent, who gave me a different name (I think it was "Cindy"). This person was actually Jasmine again. I then asked for a manager and got transferred to a "manager" whose name I cannot recall, but it was the same person -- Jasmine. I argued with her for another 15 minutes, trying to get them to explain why I was being told two different things and all I kept getting was rude responses, script reading, useless explanations, and interruptions.

Never, not ONCE, getting my actual question answered. I ended up spending almost an hour on the phone with these people, completely wasting my time and ruining my afternoon plans. In the end, I decided that I will just turn my car in at the lease end and vow to never do business with Ally again, even if they offer the best rates. If Ally is the only bank available to finance or provide leasing that car, I will not purchase or lease that car, period. I am very unhappy. If Ally cannot hire and train knowledgeable and courteous staff, they do not deserve anyone's business.

Last Friday, March 9, is when our problems started. I called Ally first thing that morning and was told my car was here in Knoxville, as soon as I paid the $1900 to get it caught up, they would call the recovery lot to have it released. I submitted the payment and called the recovery lot only to be informed that my car had been transported to an auto auction in Kentucky on the 7th. I was told the day of the repo that I would have until the 16th to get the car back and was told multiple times that it would remain at Damage Free Auto Recovery (amazing people!!!) until after that date. I called Ally back and they, then, informed me that it was in Knoxville still then changed their statement by informing me that it was at an auto auction in Nashville (about 4 hours from me.)

I called the auto auction in Nashville who said they hadn't received it, called the recovery lot who said it was on the way to Nashville, then called Ally back with lawsuits being mentioned. They informed me that I can definitely have the car back but I would either have to go to Nashville to get it or pay for transport fees ($2 a mile x 180 miles). It's now Monday and I'm getting ready to call the auto auction and hopefully get my car back today. If they have already sold my car then I will be contacting lawyers to begin the suing part of this mess. I'm inviting anyone and everyone with a similar problem to join my efforts to ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Feel free to email me at **. Include in the subject line: Ally auto negligence.

I purchased a vehicle and paid every month on time. After almost a year I got very ill and was in the hospital for a while. I contacted Ally because I had missed my payment. They told me it was not a problem and wrote out a contract with specific guidelines and asking for a partial payment for the one I missed. I did as they asked. A week passed and then one day I wake up and my car is gone. (I park in my garage every day but that one day I had to park outside). After panic set in and I called the police thinking my car had been stolen I quickly found out that was not the case. Ally had reported it to a locked yard. I called and they first said we never made an agreement but when I started stating the guidelines and who I spoke with and said I would contact a attorney they suddenly found the agreement and tea it to exactly as I had told them.

Now they say that the agreement did not go through. They would not give me any reasons just demanded I pay almost $2500 in repossession fees late fees, tow yard fees the list went and on they told me I had 3 days to claim the vehicle or I would not be able to get it back. I paid (not willingly and I fought like hell but needed my car to go to work). Since then it has almost been a year now. Now every time I try to pay my payments my account is locked. And when I call the department I need to speak to is always closed.

Once I get the person on the line which takes over a week they always charge me more money for fees. This happens almost every month. So I had my acct set up for auto pay from my bank. It shows in my account auto pay info. Next month no payment deducted from my account. Called Ally. Oh the auto pay was not processed. That is our error they say. So I had a manager get onto the phone and reset it up together. No surprise not deducted from my Bank the next month either. They would not let me pay with my card. I had to go to a Western Union place and pay that way.

Of course there were a bunch of fees total. I had to pay over $1500 for a $450 monthly payment that was only 1 1/2 months late because they messed up. Next month same thing. Locked out of my account but this time when I called I told them I was recording them for quality assurance and proper documentation for myself. Three agents refused to speak to me and hung up. One lady tried to argue and say I can’t record them. I asked why not you record me? After not agreeing to not record she hung up also.

For two weeks there was no one able to speak to me. I emailed and messages daily saying I just want to pay my bill. Each time same response. You must call due to nature of account. So after over a month now they said I owe $5000 because I have not paid in 8 months. I have a receipt and emails stating otherwise. From them. They say I cannot pay because they are sent my case to a lawyer but will not tell me how to contact whomever that is. They will not take a payment and will not let me in the account. This has dramatically affected my credit score. My previous car I had only one late payment in 5 years. I am trying to get a house but now can’t because they report me late.

I am going to have to get an attorney because now I don’t know what to do. I am scared to drive anywhere because I am afraid I will come out and my car will be gone again. Never do business with this company. Trust me this is the short version of the last 2 years of hell they have put me through. There is a lot more I could say but for lengthiness I will leave it at this.

Recently they posted a check on my account that told me that I no longer had a payment due for the month of Feb., and so I did not pay because my payment was zero. After that, I received a phone saying I was past due. I called and told them the situation; they filed an extension because it was their fault their site said what it said. They requested that I pay 30% of my total bill, which I did. Now they are saying I am still past due, the extension was declined and are requesting the rest of the payment. The guy on the phone said the site was an error and I should have called when I noticed it. Well, I did not know it was an error because the check that was sent to them matched what my account said.

They reversed the check and said I need to contact my dealership to get it fixed. I keep getting different stories from different workers and that is unacceptable because it impacts me. And the first person did not put any notes in. I have never been late on a payment and because of THEIR fault, I am being punished. Worse auto loan company I have ever dealt with. If it was your fault for the error, you should recognize that and take the past due mark off my account. They do not take accountability for their issue and expect their customers to know when their site is sending out errors. If my account looks correct, then I can't see an error. Plus the second guy was super rude and blamed me for the mistake.

And now in March they send us a BS bill that says we owe them $55.63 dated February 26 and if we don't pay it they are going to report negative information.

Called Ally today March 5th knowing they are wrong and talked to Edward, he tells me we actually owe $58.56 and if I use a credit card to pay, it's $7.50 more. I tried to tell him we had called his company for a payoff and I have documented paperwork from them stating the pay off amount with a confirmation number and that is what we paid. Edward ** explained that the payoff was not correct and we owe $58.56 more. I said, "That is BS. We even called your company to get our pay off amount." I was without a job for 2 months and made my payment when I could, because it wasn't on the date it was due they charged me almost $600 in fees. When I would call to update my information and give them a date to be paid, I never spoke to anyone who spoke good English and they would continue to tell me they are going to report me to the credit companies and that I need to ask my family and friends to help me pay.

I called today to get a payment date set up and they told me I now owe $1,000 on top of my payment. It's unreal and I really wish that I would of never had my car loan through them. It seems that every month my car loan payment that I still owe never goes down. Also, if you dig into how much your payment actually goes to the loan vs fin. charges it's usually 30% goes to the actual loan and the rest goes to their fees. No wonder it takes years to even pay anything off with them. I would never recommend them and I will NEVER have another loan with them.

From then on then when I go to make my truck payment they tell me that I owe $365 worth of late fees that was never even told to me.

So as I try to talk to them to work it all out I'm explaining to him that the guy told me all I had to do was paid the fees that I already had and then make my truck payment on time and that I was good and they told me that the guy must have gave me bad information and if they can't do anything about it. They don't care about their customers. They got some of the worst rates in the business. They had no Americans that work for them. Ally makes many costly errors and is slow or refuses to correct such. Since day one with me they have been a pain and with account paid in full they yet want more money, they say for balance and late charges. None are owed, their payment history on my account proves such but they ignore facts, even their own facts, such would humorous, if was not about money, transportation and reputation. I will simply post part of my last correspondence with Ally and let this explain all:

We have paid $30,528.50 on a note of $30,528.00. Account is paid in full and on time, This is according to your payment records sent to me. Thank you for giving me proof and ammo. No balance is due, no late payments are due. Yes, loan agreement I signed with dealership says first payment was due 10/07/2011 but "Due notice" was not given by Ally in 09/2011, first contact from Ally came via phone 10/14/2011 saying we were late on payment, we had no idea who to pay until you contacted us, and dealership did not know either. I called the dealership many times prior to 10/07/2011 asking who we needed to pay and the dealership also did not know, thusly first payment was due 11/07/2011. With first payment being due on 11/07/2011, 72 monthly payments and 3 authorized extensions our final payment was due 01/07/2018 and was paid.

The reason you show balance due, but this note is paid in full, is on several payments (I count 5) either 100% of payment or excessive amount was applied to "finance charge" and had little or no effect on balance, such as the first payment, which did not get processed until the formation of our account 10/21/2011.

This payment sat pending in my bank account 10/14/2011 until our Ally account was created 10/21/2011. I was on the phone with your data processor/account manager "David" as he set up our account and he told me when he finished entering my information "Now you can make your first payment." I replied "I have already made one payment and have another pending." He replied "This strangely, I just now set up your account." Prior to being allowed to talk to "David" I was forced to schedule another payment because Ally had no record of the payment I had already made.

I authorized a payment for 11/02/2011, but payment and a unauthorized late charge was taken from my bank account on 11/02/2011. With account first payment due not due until 11/07/2011, this late charge and how it was taken without authorization are both violation to Federal banking laws, as was not providing Due notice. I have sent you the link for such laws many times. Every month you did and continue to report us late, apply late charges, finance charges and harass us, was and is $40,000.00 of Federal and State fines and penalties. 75 months x $40,000.00 = $300,000.00 plus 3x amount of note you owe me for pain and suffering (State law allows this) $90,000.00+. I asked Ally nicely to correct these errors over 100 times but only "David" and did the correct thing, he told the truth and fixed the errors.

If I could give this company a 0 star I would! This company tacks on as many fees as they can, and when you make extra payments to cover the "fees" (cause you don't want them on your account) they misapply it to my next car loan, and not what I paid the actual money for. So then I have to call them and ask why I still have the fees and they state cause I didn't call them and tell them where to apply the extra money. Seriously? They are the absolute customs service center and when I continued to ask further questions the rep cut me off and said "ok, well you need to call next month". Wait? I'm not done telling you that you misapplied the funds and aren't correcting it. Still she said, "Call back", and hung up the phone!

I HATE this company and I feel something needs to be done about this, and their "business practices". I requested my contract from them to review it, and I will compare it to the original contract I first signed at the JEEP dealer because I don't trust them and their fees! I feel there is a lot of people paying a lot of unnecessary money to this company. I also am disappointed in the JEEP dealer sales guy who pushed this company vs. me going with my original approval from my credit union.

While on the phone with them asking about receiving help a semi sideswiped us and took our mirror off so the agent wrote that down too. Because that happened during our call they would not cover us because it was considered an accident. I was on the phone for almost an hour and a half arguing with them because I didn't call for a tow truck because my mirror is off... I called because my tire blew, who needs a tow truck because of a mirror being blown off?! And the fact that I called because my tire blew and they argued with me forever that "it's an accident claim now" even though they were two separate events and the semi just happened to do that while I was asking for a tow because my tire had blown and the rim is bare and we are on a dangerous interstate.

They put 2 lives in danger for 2 more hours than what should have been, by letting us sit on the interstate for longer than needed because "my mirror was blown off during the call". I am a RN and help save lives for a living and my significant other has been deployed overseas for 3 deployments to fight for our country and you'd think we could get some easier help than what we received. This bank has a serious problem when it comes to transferring my funds. I had to request the transaction from Ally twice to get my transfer transaction completed. This bank failed to complete my transaction when I completed it online approximately four days ago. I had to call in to the bank again this morning to complete the transaction once again. I did receive confirmation numbers on both transactions, so I know the transaction should have been completed on my first request. This is not why online banking was created!

My request is now taking seven days, versus three days and I am not at all satisfied with this institution. I needed the funds in a timely manner, therefore, I vow to never ever do business with this institution or any other institution who have problems adhering to my requests, when it comes to my hard earned funds. Lastly, it appears Ally low ratings speaks for itself and not just me complaining. I assume others have had unpleasant experiences with this institution. Thank you for your time.

All I get is a recording stating my wait could be up to 30 minutes (the websites a shorted wait time). After waiting over 45 minutes more than once, I gave up. I cannot wait to move all my accounts away from this bank which used to have superior customer service. I even tried to contact the CEO in Charlotte, got a recording and the call never returned.

I was a customer of Ally Financial for almost 2 years. Sadly to say in April 2016 I had a wreck, I hit a calf, & totaled my vehicle. The owner of the calf's insurance paid a portion of my car off but left a balance of $800. When I learned of the balance, two months later, I contacted Ally attempting to make payment arrangements. Mind you, I had just had a baby, Hurricane Harvey was in full effect and my disability was down to 75%, however I took the initiative to contact them in order to make payment arrangements. Needless to say Ally Financial cared less about all of the above & advised me, "The ONLY way we would be able to help you is if you made a payment of $439.60." The representative explained to me that because my account was past due, the only way they would make payment arrangements is if I made a full payment of $439.60 and brought my account current.

I explained to the representative that I was currently on disability, & paying another car note, & I couldn't afford to pay $439.60. I asked if they could lower the requested amount & allow me to make payments until the balance was paid in full. The representative told me no & reiterated that the only way Ally would allow me to make payments is if I paid $439.60 & brought my account current. Well I wasn't satisfied with that so I asked to speak to a supervisor but speaking to him was equivalent to speaking to the previous rep except he added that if I didn't pay the $439.60 then it would be added to my credit report & guess what...

Every month they've been faithfully putting a missed payment on my credit report. A week later I called back to speak to a different rep and she told me the same thing. Therefore, my dissatisfaction is I can see my credit report being affected if I made no effort to pay a balance or even ignored the fact that I owed Ally $800... However I acknowledged that I rightfully owed the money & attempted to make payment arrangements. I don't think that it's fair when the customer makes an effort to set up payment arrangements & their efforts are declined.

Ok soooo it makes me feel better that I'm not the only one having issues with this finance company. These crooks make Hillary Clinton look good! They take forever to accept payment for my truck loan and then suspend my Ally mobile app profile for being late?! Somehow it's my fault though. Then start paying through my online banking bill pay and they take 2 WEEKS TO ACCEPT PAYMENTS even though it shows in my bank that they have the money but really they take 2 weeks to process and by the time it's all said and done you're considered late.

They keep stressing me to send them MoneyGrams and money orders. Absolutely not. This is 2017. I'm not paying a service charge for a money order every month. To my knowledge I should be ahead of my loan according to my bank account but they think differently. I made two vehicle payments this December but they don't have those records. Surprise surprise. Ridiculous! Not to mention you can't understand anything they say. It's always somebody with the worst broken English you ever heard. Never again with this so called “finance company”. THANKS OBAMA!

Here is a summary of what happened today: This is why I hate finance companies. I am very disgusted with Ally Auto right now. I hate writing this email as well, but because your system screws people fees are applied and they don't even say it on your website. On Monday 1/2/18 I set up the final payment of $871.08 for withdraw from the bank on 1/3/18 because that was what the full amount showing on Ally website showed was due. Ally took payment out of the bank on 1/4/18. This was the final payment with this account. Today I sign on to get the phone number so I can call to find out how long it will take to get the title returned to me. I notice it says there is a $99.08 balance.

I called and spoke with Michael and he said it was late fees, but I paid the full amount that was listed online which included the late fees or so it said. Payment is always due around 18th or 19 of each month, I sent last payment on 1/3/18 over 2 weeks early. Even after all of this I even offer to pay the $99.08 because I have someone that wants to buy this vehicle in about 10 days. I asked him if I can go ahead and set it up online again first making sure that was the entire amount and there would be no other hidden charges. He tells me I can't do it because on his end it says the $871.08 payment is pending. Funny how on the Ally website it says payment received on 1/3/18 and payment cleared the bank on 1/4/18.

So, I offered to make payment then and there over the phone since they claim this was a late fee (as in the past a few payments were late). Michael says he can't do that with a payment pending. He suggests I try to schedule a payment using tomorrow's date (website won't allow me to do that either). After about 10 minutes of getting nowhere with Michael I ask to be transferred to a supervisor. Michael instead transfers me to customer relations and I didn't catch that guy’s name but after about a minute I knew I wasn't getting anywhere with this guy. I hung up the phone. First issue I have is no-one could explain to me where this $99.08 charge was no on the website showing it needed to be paid.

Second issue (not that I expected it) I didn't even get a thank you or congratulations for sending your last payment. All I feel like I got was you owe more money. Third issue (again not that I want something for free) after all the runaround I didn't even get offered "we can waive that fee since your account is paid in full". Fourth issue is customer service is supposed to help people not what service I received. I will never buy another vehicle using Ally. If they have fees that need to be paid in order to get the title why were they not listed or listed correctly on the Ally website. I feel you're holding the title hostage and I can't even pay the required amount to get it because your online website won't allow it due to your slow processing payments.

Always ask who is your car loan with, If told its ALLY BANK... DO NOT DO IT. Very, poor customer service and you never get an American on the phone that can help. It is all corporate and you will have difficulty communicating with the anyone. After only falling behind 3 months my car was repossessed. I spoke with someone that Friday and was told to call back next week to arrange payment. Well Monday my car was out for to be repossessed. Worst thing is the way they treated my 83 year old mom about this. They came into private property to have car towed. Any regular credit card company gives you 4 months before they consider cutting off credit. So why repossess when it only 3 months. I explained I had financial difficulty after hurricane Irma, not even "sorry to hear" reply.

On top of that they are adding all these fees that make it impossible to get my car back, not even flexible to work with me to pay that amount. Next time around, I will try to work with smaller loan company, even if I have to pay more. I rather have the extra customer care and assistance than suffer this way. I read they went through bankruptcy very recently. I hope they shut down soon. The way this was handled was very poor and unfair. Not even when I had an issue dealing with Ford motor Credit 10 years ago did I ever go through such a thing, and I was nearly 5 months behind.

January of 2016 I purchased a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse $4000 down from Franklin Chevrolet with my first payment due around March 5 2016. This was the start of me rebuilding my credit, and I am a single mom on a budget so I sent $1546.62 on February 10, 2016 (which covered up until May 2016). On May 4, 2016, I made a payment of $5420 certified mail.

That same night while coming from revival I was in a wreck that totalled my vehicle. The next morning I called Ally to let them know that I would need to cancel my payment because I was in an accident and the truck was totalled. I also informed her that I had full coverage insurance and a $695 gap policy that I had purchased with Ally. She informed me that she could not do anything because the payment had not been received and that I should call back. It was a Friday so I waited to call back after the weekend. Once I called back I informed them that the payment needed to be stopped.

On March 7 the company received my money orders and added the payment to my account, which I found out via online. So I called and asked why would they add the money to my account, paying for the vehicle up until June 2017 when I had informed them the vehicle was totalled? They said something about needing to wait on the insurance company, which puzzled me because I had full coverage and a Gap policy through Ally!! May 11, 2016 Progressive totalled my vehicle and sent a payout to Ally for the total vehicle's cost. Assuming everything was straight I went back to Franklin and was allowed to get another vehicle with no down payment but around $100 more a month. It wasn't a concern at the time because Ally still had $4500 of my money. I preferred Ally to finance it so they could just transfer the money onto my new account...

Long story short the people must have believed me to be ignorant. I talked to one woman who kept giving me all kinds of lame excuses as to why they couldn't give me my money back to which I would just give an educated answer... then she would try to go another route. This went on for 3 months when they threatened to take my vehicle. The sole thing I was using to build my credit was making it worse. I was stubborn at first but realized I had no choice but to keep making the payments. I talked to a lawyer and even believed that the company would do the right thing, but I see that will never happen.

All of the grammar mistakes may make you doubt it???? But I have $65000 in student loans which was spent on a MBA based mainly on ethics. I cannot understand why a company would want to take advantage of a single mother who makes prepayments!! Who tries to do the right thing. You all have no idea how rude and nasty the woman was not to mention that they took down all history of the other account once I complained. As you see it is December of 2017, Ally never had any intention on doing the right thing!!!

As I was using their online Ally Auto website to make automatic payments, I scheduled payments due on a certain date for auto deduction. On the day of the deduction, they do send a confirmation that the payment has been made, but then repo your car without any notice. I notice that my car is gone and report it to the police, they advise to call my finance company. They confirmed the repo due to non payment for 3 months and 90 days overdue.

They like to argue with you saying that they have made several phone call attempts, but they do not. Now, If I am to get my car back, even with confirmation and bank proof, It will cost me $3,400, and if I do not pay by the 7th then there is another charge which is my car payment is added on to the $3400. This company is very shady. They do not accept cc payments, just bank drafts only and if by credit card, you use Western Union. Again, I never received any warning of a repo, letter, certified letter, or telephone call.

I started a loan through Ally a little after the first of the year... Made all my payments on time, come August I lost my job and got to the point where I have to decide what bills matter most... so I call Ally and explain everything to them. They proceed to tell me that they won’t tag the 2 payments I missed on to the end of the loan due to it being a young loan. I called and talked to a friend who works at a different bank and they told me that Ally could if they wanted to. Ally has such a high interest rate that it makes the car almost not worth having. Then I get a letter that says to have a payment in by November 22 or it will be repossessed, after receiving the letter days after this due date I guess it’s time to get all my stuff out and wait for them to pick it up. Bonus I got a new job and am going to lose it also because I have to have a car for this job...

Don’t go with Ally. They aren’t your “allies”. They are bunch of rude, non-English speaking people that bend you over and break it off into you. Every time I get in my car I cry because it’s either I pay the car or my apartment. If I try to do both I don’t have enough money for food let alone a rag or Kleenex to cry into. My grandmother is my co-signer and they called daily harassing her because I was late in October. I thought that they would be somewhat helpful but they aren’t. Their tv ads are full of crap... I wish I got the chance to know what company I was forced to use before I signed the paperwork... The dealership didn’t tell me beforehand. I feel the dealerships find young victims and make them use then ruin their credit when something bad happens.

Their customer service sucks, the people are hard to understand at best. Then one person tells you it’s ok. Just try to make a payment in 60 days, the next day another person calls and says since you are late by 45 days. They are going to start the repossession process. You call Ally then get placed on hold for hours at a time. I would call at 15:00 and just be placed on hold until 19:00 at times. They don’t even care that you lost your job, they are all heartless, rude. If I’m ever able to get another car it won’t be using Ally to finance the car... I’m going to try to refinance before I lose my car... Hopefully it works...

We were debating to turn in our lease early or keep it until the lease was up. We purchased a 3 year lease and paid it off within the first year. We also had extra money that was included in the lease to cover any potential issues that there might be when we turn it in. When I called to speak to Ally about getting my unused prepaid miles money back they said I would get it if I returned the vehicle. We were excited, because we were over 4500 miles under our mileage, which we had paid for in the agreement. Since we had already paid the lease off, the payback on mileage was a welcome discussion.

Long story short, they found no issues with the vehicle except for the tires, which they said was a little under what they required. No problem, because I had money in the lease agreement and a rebate from miles that should easily cover that and then some. NO... The extra money built into the lease doesn't cover tires. (Imagine that) also there is no mileage payback. WHAT, we just spoke to them and that's what they told us. So not only did we turn in our vehicle 3 months before the lease was up, we get hit with tire fees. Total scam. We could have driven the vehicle for another 3 months (for free may I add, because again we had already paid it off) and they refuse to give "logical" explanations. I have CD's with them and stock trading accounts - one I manage and one managed by an advisor. I'll review my experiences separately as they relate to these different products: CD - recommend. I'm happy with their rates. They're higher than just about anything else I've seen in the market and I've done my research pretty exhaustively. Also Ally has no penalty CD's with a relatively low balance minimum that's almost unheard of at the bigger banks.

Stock investing - neutral. My portfolio has averaged a 7% return even though the markets are doing great... and this is compared to a portfolio I have at Vanguard with the same risk matrix that's making around 15%. But still I'm ok with it because it's been consistent and fees are relatively low and pay for themselves since a lot of the assets they have me invested in pay dividends that outweigh the advisor fees. Their platform is not that great. Ally acquired TradeKing this year but TK was real time and easy to use, showing both day and overall gains/losses. Post-acquisition, the mobile app only shows daily movement, and everything is delayed both on the website and mobile version, making day trading impossible or at best a total crapshoot.

Customer Service - so/so. Super painful experience for me when Ally acquired TradeKing since I had accounts at both with the same username. One seemingly took precedence over the other and for a couple of months they couldn't seem to find $50,000 from the TK account that was in effect cannibalized by the Ally one. Also around the same time I got married and changed my name. They had a hard time understanding I now had one name that needed to be on all of my accounts and that they needed to be accessed with one central login. But they got it all figured out eventually (approx. 2 months and 15 phone calls later). However I will say Customer Service wait times have always been low in my experience, they're friendly and they seem to be based in the US.

My contract says I can buy the car at the end of the lease for $6,995.00. They quote me a payoff of over $18,000. I tell them what my contract says. They won't budge off the higher number. These people are thieves. Before I hung up, I asked if they had the Florida Attorney General’s phone number handy, because, that's my next call.

Customer service is all outsourced to foreign countries who have no clue how to deal with issues. If anything real happens they just pass you in a circle of inexperienced workers, that somehow have no manager. It’s insane, you can’t talk to management if you wanted. They always lie and say management is unavailable but they will put you in a line to have a return call within 48 hours. They don’t call. This company needs to be shut down. I’m considering lawsuit at this point as I can’t even talk to a manager.

I began reading so many reviews from people that had complaints from experiences with natural disasters with Ally so I figured I'd share mine. I live in Santa Rosa CA with my wife and two sons, 6 years and 8 months. We are currently experiencing wildfires that have been classified as the worst wildfires in the history of CA. I woke up on Oct 9 2017 to my hometown on fire. The fires moved so fast through the city because of 60-70 mile per hour winds. My wife office building was in the middle of it and she still hasn't been able to go to work.

On the 10th I called Ally first thing in the morning because my bill was due on the 17th and scheduled for Autopay. I called to request a single, one month, extension so I could use that extra money for a hotel and needs for my family should we be evaluated. First off, when you call you get a rep in the Philippines. The woman that I spoke to didn't understand what a wildfire was and I had to explain it to her. Then she began processing the request but when she started reading me the disclosure it was as if it were a normal extension and I needed to pay a partial payment. I requested a supervisor who then submitted the request for approval and told me that it would take no more than 24-48 hours to get a response and she would call me and keep me updated. She hasn't called once.

Last night I called and asked the status to which I was told that it was still pending and awaiting approval. I called again this morning, Friday the 13th, three days later, and was still told it was pending. I blew up at the "supervisor" who isn't really a supervisor but a "customer relations expert" and got her to transfer me to a person in the USA that had a brain and understood what a wildfire was. The rep in the USA that I spoke to told me that she spoke to her supervisor and she was going to forward my request to him so he could try to expedite the request and get a response. They told me numerous times that they could cancel the payment scheduled for the 17th but I refused because I don't want to do that in case they for whatever stupid reason decide to deny it.

So far we have been evacuated once and still are on alert because the Nun's fire is bearing down on us. Ally doesn't care it seems. I contacted my other financial institution on that same morning I first called Ally and had an extension approved within an hour for this disaster we are in the midst of. When I spoke to Ally I stated, "Is this what those poor people in Texas and the other areas had to deal with when they were hit by the hurricane that devastated their towns?" I find this to be a horrible way to do business. Ally only cares about one thing and that is money. I plan on getting a new loan and transferring my business to a different loan company. Ally is the worst and I will never use them again, if you have common sense and see all these reviews you too will steer away from them. Hope this review helps others, Ally really is horrible.

This company is terrible. I was told I'd have my refund in 3-5 business days. When the 5 days were up, I called to ask where my check was (they double charged me even though the app didn't say I'd get charged at the end of the month) and they told me it will be here at the end of the month (so basically 30 day refund). They beat around the bush saying they don't control the refund. Why even be in business? The woman sounded clueless. Don't do business with these people. Finding a new bank asap. They don't even offer refinancing.

Don't ever walk into a dealership and use this company to Lease or Buy a Car or Truck or they will bend you over and stick it where the sun don't shine. I was going to buy my truck that I leased from them but they wouldn't budge on the price, so guess what? I went to the dealership and leased a new truck through GM Financial and they are great.

Best of all I am not talking to some stupid Indian over in India that hasn't got a clue how to speak English. It's funny they think that they are smarter than you when you are on the phone with them, it's like talking to a Craigslist scammer. I think it's the same people. Well anyway had to put my 2 cents in and warn people to stay away From (Ally). Terrible business people. I don't think Ally will be around much longer anyway. If you are looking for a loan company with numerous ways to pay your bill, Ally may be right for you. But if you are one of those that don’t have trouble paying your bill and then expect to get your title in a timely manner, then go elsewhere, it is not worth the lies and frustration they will put you through. The title is at a third party company, they have no control over it whatsoever apparently! A send out date is put into their computer automatically, 10 days after they receive your final payment, no matter how you pay, and every time you call to follow up, they will tell you that it was sent out on that date. And that’s all they will tell you for 10 more working days after that.

After the days when you don’t receive it, not once will they confirm that it was sent or bother to look into the issue at all. Instead, they have the nerve to blame you and the mail service, “are you sure you didn’t get it? It comes in a blue envelope from another company”. YES ALLY, I'M SURE for the 100th time! Well considering I’ve been waiting by the mail box for a month now, I know it’s not me. And I have not had any problems with the mail service, I have received every single bill from them like clockwork. Even though they will not admit fault or help in anyway, it’s hard to believe them when I requested copies of the title 4 times, 2 by fax and 2 by mail, and have not received one of them. Yes I do have a handful of confirmation numbers, so where are they? You might as well just throw them out, they don’t mean anything.

We had a buyer for said vehicle and an appointment set up at their bank, well we never got our copy of our title and the release of lien letter faxed to us and we never got the follow up phone call that we were supposed to get, so not only was it a huge inconvenience to everyone, but we now lost that buyer. Finally over a month later, after calling and complaining numerous times, we finally received a release of lien letter (not copy of the title), they said we can take to the DMV ourselves to request a replacement title at our own cost which we are now doing. We have also filed a complaint with the BBB…. To be continued.

Now, I'm am her mom and the cosigner on the account but 4 days after we found my daughter we were hit with Hurricane Irma and had thousands of dollars done to our property and had no way to even get to work for weeks without power... Ally kept calling me and sending me letters to pay this extension fee. I don't understand a fee because she was not even late on payment. And I had no money due to this hurricane to make the extension payment.

Needless to say day after day I'm getting calls and letters and having to relive this horrible experience of my daughter almost dying and the challenge of our home and town being devastated by hurricane... Each time I would talk to a person they would, "Say no worries. Everything is okay. You are approved for extension with no fees." Only to get a call again and another letter in two more days... The emotional abuse I am receiving from the collection team is unreal. NOW REMEMBER the payment is not even behind and they are hounding me to pay an extension fee...

I'm not sure where to even begin. My husband and I refinanced my vehicle that was originally financed with Ally. Since we had bought GAP insurance they were to refund us the balance of 900+ bucks. After calling and canceling it we were assured that we would have a check within 10 days. When that came and gone we were told that the policy changed and the car dealership had it (WTF?). Car dealership said they declined it and it would go back to Ally. Then Ally said yes but it takes 30-45 days to refund. Ummm you can just keep my money for 45 days? Ok so we wait 6 weeks and still no refund.

Call again, nobody knows where the money is, they will call us back. No callback so we call again, a special department is handling it, they will call us within 24 hours. No callback, we call again. Ally financial says that the refund is handled by Ally products, three way them in on convo. They argue over who handles it and both decide it's on the dealer. While on the phone with them I go to the dealer. The finance people at the dealer say they are waiting on a lien release from Ally to cut the check. Long story short, after 7 weeks of dozens of phone calls we still have no refund and should be fluent in the Indian language.

I have received letters from the bank confirming the same, "PAID IN FULL". Each CSR I have spoken with has given me the runaround. Now my credit has taken a hit due to their inaccurate reporting. No one at the customer service center can help, I keep getting transferred. Basically I need to send a certified check for $13 so that my title can be released, after paying more than $32,000. Does this make any sense? So I send the certified check. Then they post an online payment and say I have to wait 2 weeks for the payment to clear. So I wasted my time even sending the check. They will not reverse the online payment without waiting an additional 2 weeks. All over $13 and it was their mistake.

You cannot call the same person who is working on your account, every time you have to call a random person and go through the entire process of explaining the situation over and over. They also do not believe in email for some reason. What a horrible experience. I will never use them again. DO NOT DO IT! I had never felt emotionally abused by a company causing me to feel anxious and so judged. The girl I spoke with today was angry from the start. She claimed she wasn't but working in the medical field I know smart remarks when I hear them. During our 16 min conversation I was trying to explain to her that I will be making a payment but I couldn't at the moment. She then continued to have an attitude and said they've already done all they could for more and I told her I understood but if she looked at her previous note the reasons I fell behind was because of medical reasons and I was trying to catch up.

I don't know what made her feel superior to make a comment like "I'm understand but I'm not the one who's 3 month behind on my car payment." As if she had her life all figured out which just left me in shock. Not only that I tried explaining that I had decided to go back to school and that had cause me to fall back a 3 month and being short notice that I paid out of pocket for it. She then told me that I need to get my priorities "straightened out. What was more important my school or my car?" I was in complete shock by then. I never knew a company could ever let their "Customers Srv" dept talk to their own customers like incompetent people.

Financed a new 2011 Tahoe with Ally. Have had loan for about 5 1/2 years with no late payments. Decided to sell the vehicle and with electronic funds paid off the loan balance of about $3,300.00. Funds were deposited into Ally bank on 8/14/17. Was told they had to hold the funds for 10 days to verify them. Nothing to verify, they had the funds (not a check). In fact I received a check in the amount of $0.39 for interest over-payment less than a week later. I argued that there was no reason to wait to verify funds and the title should be released immediately. However, it seems that Ally follows this procedure regardless. They informed me that the title would be released for processing by 8/24/17. I asked for them to expedite the release (since they truly had the funds), and that I would pay an expedite fee to have the title sent overnight. They refused and said that was not possible (obviously could care less about the customer's needs).

Long story short, I have a buyer for the vehicle, but no title. It is 9/1/17 and still no title. I have spoken to customer service in the Philippines several times and all they tell me is it was mailed on the 24th of August from Maryland. I am in Alabama and I can tell you it does not take the postal service more than 3 to 4 days to deliver mail. They cannot prove it was mailed on 8/24/17 and have no way to track the mailing (regular post). It is hard to believe that they would send an official document with no way to verify where it is or if it was received. Their answer to me is, give it a little longer. How long do I wait to know if it is lost. They said they had done what they were supposed to do and it is my problem now. That means that I am going to lose a sale of my vehicle $25,000, and have to take my time and money to file for a replacement title. This will take a while and by then, I will have to find another buyer.

All this could have been prevented if Ally would have allowed me to pay to expedite the processing and the overnight fee, which I have done with other lenders in the past. I asked the customer service representative what customer service he had given me, and his reply was, "I have answered your questions." No, "you have only told me your procedure and what is in the computer," which I already knew. I still have no idea where my title is or when it was mailed for sure... As an owner of a public business, it seems really stupid to have a customer with which you have had an excellent relationship with over 5 years and then at the end, make them so mad over an Ally procedure, they will never do business with Ally again. Guess they have plenty of business.

BOTTOM LINE: Ally cares nothing about retaining you as a customer, they care nothing about you, there is no procedure for flexibility, and they only care about "their" procedures, and evidently new customers to them are a "dime a dozen." ADVICE: If you have an auto loan with Ally and you plan to sell your vehicle, payoff your loan at least a month before listing it and hope you get your title.

I have spent 8 hrs of my time trying to resolve your mistake. Your staff admitting that you Ally has dropped the ball and very helpful in providing me with the legal department's address...

On 2/28/16 my sister passed away. On March 3rd 2016 I contacted Ally. Spoke to 10 different reps. Had to repeat my loss over and over until someone was actually able to help me finally in order to insure or register a vehicle in my mother's name. I needed a change in title or contract to remove my sister and place my mother as the main buyer vs co buyer due to our loss. Ally then faxed over the changes made to the DMV in Jersey City, NJ on Summit Ave. because without the changes made on Ally's end I would not have been able to register or insure the car legally. So that being said I provided a death certificate 2 times in order for Ally to make the changes and provide the DMV with the documents they needed to make the change and register the car.

1 year and 6 months later I am told that they were not informed of her passing which is 1000% incorrect. I must have spoken to a total of 60 different reps all giving me incorrect information until my last try where then I was able to be helped properly. I am also a authorized person on the account since before my sister's passing. And each and every time I call I have to repeat the same story about my loss not allowing me to grieve. More upsetting and emotionally damaging that I have to repeat my loss each time I call when I'm told that your calls are all monitored and recorded and notes are put in place during the call process. I have been having nothing but problems with your company. Call records, recordings, documents showing this was reported on 3/3/16 and now I'm being told that the death claims department never was told.

I am being told this 8/23/17 to go ahead and resubmit documentation I submitted last year. How do you expect to keep your customers? Your services are horrible. Your system is worse. I am going to make this public. This is how you treat people with no type of compensation for a year and 6 months of me having to repeat over and over the same loss. I was and I am not able to grieve as a person should. Not only is it disturbing but it is beyond stressful that you treat people this way and have poor customer service. You need to do better in training your staff and teach them how to do their job the right way because this isn't it. I have faxed now 2 times today and this email providing you collection and death claims with a death certificate. I am fed up and wish nothing more to stop doing business with you. I am going to report this to BBB and share my year and 6 months of bad services during my grieving until it goes viral.

I work for a corporate company and you guys are not a good company at all. This is my last attempt. Also after all my troubles your company can't even offer compensation for my troubles. How do you keep clients at all? Mind blowing and I have been at this since 8:46 am and have not gotten a call from ALANA **. Since we last spoke this morning at 9:41 am she told me that it would take an hr to receive after it's sent so here is the math. 8:46 1 hr = 9:46 am. It is now 2 pm. I have called her 4 times since. No answer. You're causing nothing but stress and panic attacks. I will be contacting a television, media and legal outlet. I can't believe this is what your company is.

This is my 4th time providing the death certificate to your disorganized staff and system. Your company is disgusting. How dare you put me through this. I had to call your company today 15 times to speak to Alana after 12 pm and I ask to be transferred to collections and she directs me to customer service. Nonetheless we completed the purchase, and went on our merry way. The next day, the buyer informed me that the payment had cleared in her account. So I called Ally to request a copy of the lien since the Payment had posted. "It will take ten business days for it post." (Quote from Ally robot). I argued with it, but they don't have any constructive response so I asked to take the survey but never was prompted to do so after call. The payment posted to their account a week later (I received an email).

So I called up again requesting the lien. This time I ended up calling four times (each time talking to a fake person ) and each call ended in anger. At one point, I was directed (after asking five times ) to a "manager" who couldn't "understand " me. At one point during one of the numerous calls, I dealt with a robot trying to convince me their name was France. Yes okay, and I have a hole in my head. After each heated call, I asked to take the survey. They said ok but once again, never got the prompt. Now it's been two weeks since the sale. The new owners, who are from out of state, want to make this car legal. I call up Ally again. This was last Monday. I'm told the payment posted in their system and the lien was mailed out that day. Should be there in the "United States mail " in five to seven days.

I happen to work for the post office. That letter should arrive by Thursday at the latest. Told them that. "No ma'am the post office takes a week to send out a letter". So I suggest legal action again. If the letter is not here by Thursday. Also said "I don't appreciate you suggesting I'm lying." And lo and behold, no survey to take again per my request! So now, it has been over three weeks. Still no lien. The poor sellers are waiting and I'm getting more angry by the day. I'd call back but why bother? I can't understand the customer service robots, they're programmed to lie, and they don't do their jobs properly anyways. I'm willing to bet, when the lien comes that's it's not postmarked last Monday.

Now to the robot explanation. I have called so many times that there is one detail I've noticed. There seems to be only five or so customer service reps. It's always the same five voices that answer. Each time with an unrealistic name, like France. Who names someone France? I could see Paris. Not France. Also during one of the calls, I repeatedly referred to the company as "a piece of **" in every sentence. The "robot" didn't even understand. My vocabulary varied while their's only kept saying "okay ma'am ". Like it didn't EVEN register that they were being insulted. Amazing. I will never lease or buy a car from this company again. Their customer "service" and terms are a joke. When dealing auto finance in the dealership, ask who you are getting and don't use Ally Financial.

I paid off my truck and needed my title for being able to sell it to a buyer. They had the funds and are making me wait 10 days. After 10 days there were going to mail out a letter to bring to the DMV. They said the letter would take up to 5 days. The folks that answered were based out of India and were reading from a script and had many many runarounds... Very sad and I can sum up Ally Financial in 2 words... ** Sucks.

I don't know how this company is still in business! I got in an accident and car was totaled, my insurance company paid them off what the car was valued and they agreed to it! I get a bill in the mail from Ally stating I owe them $3600 plus taxes on excessive mileage and they have called me several times! I called them back and half the people don't speak English and said it's in your contract when you leased your car. I would like to know who reads the back of the contract and isn't it the dealership's responsibility to tell us! The car is totaled. What difference does it make how much mileage is on it, plus I was going to buy the car at the end of the lease! This is the worst company ever.

I went thru breast cancer and got behind on 2 car payments. I called to ask for an extension. They extended the 2 payments but did not include the late charges. So what good did that do, my account still showed that I was 850.00 behind. It still showed behind to credit bureau. I call Ally to get this straight and I get someone in the Philippines that can barely speak English. They tell me they can't do anything about the late charges and my account will continue to show behind until late charges are made. Obviously these people have no compassion for someone that has went thru 30 days of radiations. AGAIN DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE CAUSE THEY WILL NOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP YOU.

This bank is a joke! I have made several payments and they claim payments were missing. I even have bank statements to show I made payments. They didn't send me anything in the mail stating they were going to Repo my car. Stay away from this bank. I was trying to figure out how are they reporting me late and I made payments. These people will try to destroy your credit and a bunch of con artist. I will never do business with them again and they will hear from my lawyer ASAP. Please stay away from this company.

I will never give another dime to this company! They constantly send my bill late and refuse to issue a payment booklet. They pressure me to let them take my payments directly out of my account. I am Not comfortable doing that. If my payment is due on the 15th but they finally deduct it on the 17th they charge a $30 Late fee. Anyone ever consider using them be prepared to let them take your payment automatically! They hang up on me constantly but will call my husband at work 77 times in 2 hours! Over a bogus charge. They seriously should be investigated and at the very least people should check reviews before going with them as a finance company. They Are Horrible!!!

My truck was totaled out by my insurance. They refused to give my insurance company any documentation in order to pay off my truck through them. The process to settle my claim took long enough and now it's been even longer in order to get them paid off to settle on the truck. In the mean time because I have not been able to make my truck payment this is going on my credit and everything else even though they have been informed that the truck is totaled my claim number adjuster information has been provided through this entire process. They wanted a settlement agreement which my insurance could not provide as there was gap coverage on my policy and they needed a payment break down from Ally to do so.

I have two accounts with Ally.com and a credit card as well. I am happy with each of these so I was happy when I was offered a 'special deal' on their mortgage loans. I am in the process of attaining a loan with this company and I regret it more than most any big financial decision I have ever made. The people working on my disclosures are absent, casual and drop the ball over and over again. I've was assured again and again that we would meet the closing date we agreed upon and all my documents are sent in and yet they have not been able to close. Every week or so I am assigned a new person who does not seem to know what the last person did. They often do not respond to important emails. The whole process has really been a nightmare and I am very very sorry I went with this company.

I called Ally to buyout my vehicle. They basically told me all the hoops I had to jump through to buyout the vehicle. Overnighting a check, pay taxes ahead of time, etc. Instead I said ok. I am just going to trade it. What is my buyout without the tax and they told me to go to the dealer to find out. Then I am told I will find out from their buyout department, then I am told that they can not give me what a dealer will pay. I have leased many vehicles and never had to deal with this before. They are basically trying to hold myself and the dealers hostage to force me to buy it through them. My lease contract clearly states that I have a price that I can buy it out. THIS IS FRAUD!!!

I had an auto loan with this company and had automatic payments set up, went through a separation and I was under the impression that my wife was paying the payments. I was wrong, she missed two, I found out and made the payments that day, I transferred the payments to her account, the bank kept telling me that I never made a payment even though I had proof and sent it to them. I continued to make the payments every month. I owned this car for 3.5 years, paid 21,000 for it, put 2000 down, every month they reported a late payment to my credit because they refused to add the payments that my wife missed. This went on for a year.

I called the credit bureaus and disputed it and sent the proof. They give ally 30 days to respond or they remove it. Problem is they don't require any proof from any company that reports to your credit, so all ally or anyone else has to do is electronically send a reply that said it's valid, so I fought them for over a year and finally gave up.

I bought her another car and turned it back in because they were threatening me and they even called my clients, people that may have called me at some point in my life, relatives that I haven't seen in over 20 years and they actually told them that I was not making my car payments even though I was, they also told me that I only made 9 payments on the car in 3.5 years, I asked them if that was the case then why is it that I never heard from them in anyway, no answer.

In December of 16 I was very ill, had kidney stones that in turn caused me to have prostrate issues that they thought was cancer, I was in the hospital for almost a month, I got out and called them, told them what was going on and I said "I will send you two payments now one for December and one for January that why I'm not behind," the lady said "we will reject the payments, you can't send any payments in unless you pay the payments from a year ago," I said "I've already made them and sent the proof," she said "yeah I see that but we are showing you didn't and we want the whole car paid off or returned," I said "No, I'm not going to return anything and I've done my part," she said "well it's out for repossession then and we will file litigation against you."

I contacted an attorney that said he would help me and so far nothing has been done, they applied allege payments I made to interest and by the time I was finally done with it. I owed 25900 on it after making 15,600 of payments, I paid 21,000 with 2000 down. Do not use them, they were sued in 14 for the same things and lost 88 million in settlements, I would love to have a lawyer that will help me.

I have leased several cars through Ally Bank. Unfortunately when I turned my last car they stuck it to me. Charging me for things with vehicle that were wrongfully charged. I had a key that I was advised by the dealership that Ally would call me to tell me where to send the key! That never happened hence the charge. I called in & the lady kept repeating the same thing, "ma'am you can no longer turn in the key" & I told her I have never had any issues with any of the vehicles that I have turned in prior.

There were no issues with the vehicle when I returned, no dents nor has it been in any accidents... Just funny. I have never had any issues with turning in my vehicles until I decided not to get another lease... The lady was quite rude. Every time she spoke the same words just kept getting louder & repeating even to the point of speaking over me! Very unprofessional & I will not pay what they are charging me in full... I will give them $20 bucks a month for the service they gave me once I severed our relationship!

Ally is a great financial institution which offers ATM refunds and interest rates on free checking accounts, which no other bank does. I have had absolutely no problems opening a checking account there and I plan on opening a savings account soon. I was tired of paying $$ for ATM withdrawals and haven't since I switched. Furthermore, my friend has had no problems with his car loan and it is going very well.

In the beginning I had no issues with Ally. The few times that I did talk to someone they were pleasant and nice. My payments were made on time. I paid for 45,000 miles but turned the car into the dealership with 34,000 miles. I wanted to buy the car but they wanted much more than what it was worth so I leased a new SUV with GM. The car sat on the lot for two weeks before it was picked up. Then I received a bill for "damages". I kept the car immaculate. I knew I would get dinged for a broken piece of plastic on the driver's seat but I also got charged 175.00 for a key fob.

All fobs were turned in, however a few weeks before I turned the car in the pin fell out of the metal part of the key so it was in two pieces. I asked the dealership if they could fix it and they said it was common with the GM fobs but they had a few of the pins and I could try to put it back together. I didn't get a chance to so the fob that fell apart along with all the pieces and 2nd fob were turned in with the car. Then I got the bill for the broken plastic part on the seat, the key fob, plus tax. Ironically the total cost came up to exactly the same amount as one month's car payment.

I called Ally since I had no problems with them in the past and spoke to the rudest girl. I work in Customer Service and told her if she was my employee I'd send her to some customer service etiquette classes and if that didn't work, she'd be fired! She laughed. I was so pissed that I told her that I would be calling back to speak to a supervisor. I had to hang up. I sent a check payment for the broken seat plus the total tax but the not fob cost along with a letter that I would not be paying for the fob. I explained why and that they could take all the money I paid for extra miles and purchase a new $50-75 Key fob or just repair the faulty one, since I sent all the pieces.

I now get multiple harassing phones calls. I'm sure they will send it to collections and it will end up on my credit report. They won't even be reasonable now when I do call. They cashed the check for the seat portion but send me bills for the fob plus additional tax. Which I already paid with the seat. One additional note, when I moved from TX to FL my payment went up an additional 17.00 because they said FL charges their taxes during the duration of the lease, however TX is paid up front, which I had already paid. So where is that money? An attorney is looking into that because that is an issue that is ongoing in the state. I'm not sure what to do. I really shouldn't owe them anything! Thank goodness my new GM lease isn't with these rude, harassing, unprofessional leasing group!

I have seen complete deterioration of this bank as they grew, merging with other banks. I needed to transfer some IRA money from cash to CDs. Simple. FOUR calls to different departments did not achieve a thing. Nobody has the slightest idea how to do it. They have many different departments and play "soccer" transferring clients from one to another, so you make a circle. Bankers cannot see all your accounts. That makes it even more difficult. Maybe they are overworked as they cannot concentrate enough to even repeat your question. Absolute disaster!
