Nice bright office! To keep you from getting upset with the financial end of things visit another Dental office. They tell you the cost of procedures, you pay it in full. Four months later you get a call asking how you want to pay for the outstanding balance. Very underhanded and it feels like a scam. Beware.

This office is the best!! I arrived there at the office late, but instead of making me an appointment for the following week. David **, DDS took me in and examine my teeth and his staff start working on my teeth. The young lady that was giving me a cleaning her name is Belinda, Hygienist, she was absolutely great. She was gentle, but she’s got the work done and I really appreciate her and not only her there was another young lady and her name is Waunra, Patient Advocate, her Job is to Able to give you the charges for services that what was done there and to contact your insurance of work was done and insurance will let her know the patient amount to pay. Most of all the young lady at the front desk will always greeting you with a smile. This is the lady that makes you feeling welcome at this great office. Her name is Jasmine, Treatment Coordinator. This is the Best place to be! BRIGHT NOW! DENTAL & ORTHODONTICS.

Terrible location!!!! I was told I needed a bunch of work done and that one molar would need to be replaced immediately- but would cost xyz and not need a bone graph.. I move my work schedule around and make it to a 7am appointment with their oral surgeon to be told in fact need a bone graph and it’s going to cost me $300+ than expected. The office manager will say whatever it takes to get you back in- “we are going to work with you & don’t worry about these prices, we can adjust them”. It’s a complete fraud system here- BE AWARE!!!

I was a patient with BND for a few years until I received a statement that showed me my dental insurance would not cover any of my service, and I asked many times about it. It's been several months and the billing lady still hasn't called me back regarding my questions. I also find the lady who deals with making payments rude and doesn't have appropriate customer service skills.

I was very disappointed with Bright Now Dental. I went to my first appt for new X-rays and cleaning my teeth. My X-rays were taken and I was taken to another kiosk where a dentist checked each tooth and informed me I had no cavities. She said a deep clean of my gums would be helpful in the near future. I sat for a minute waiting on a hygienist to clean my teeth but I was dismissed to check out. The lady checking me out handed me a treatment care of $906.50 and that’s after my Tricare retiree insurance! My insurance is excellent and has served me well for 15 years! I decided I will not go back but I need my X-rays which were covered. I called them and explained I needed my X-rays and the person I spoke said they would email them. I didn’t receive them so made two more requests and still nothing. Don’t trust them. I will have to pay for more X-rays which my insurance already paid for. Another dental practice ripping off clients.

Promised one price then charged a higher amount. Had partial done and told them trial didn't fit but they said final would. Three months later, it didn't fit and took another three months to get another made. I had to redo all procedures. At the end, doctor had quit and had a fill-in from another office who changed original design I wanted and didn't make sure good fit other than ask if my back teeth touched. She was in hurry as her last day filling in there. They are not like I wanted but after six months I just took. Then I receive a bill in mail for an additional $350 despite being told I was getting a deal and no matter what would not be charged more than what I paid. Total rip-off, steer clear.

The worst customer service as well as the wait time is more than an hour. No matter how many times I complain, every time I visit they made me wait at least an hour or till I reached out to the the manager and yelled. They don’t care about your time and how it is going to affect your schedule. They just book back to back appointments to earn money. Every time they run short staffs. My take is, if you can’t take customers on time then let them know ahead of time.

Great service, fast, helpful, and professional. I'm changing my review of this place. I feel that they are not organized. Multiple times they had to reschedule for issues with lab product not being ready on time. I tried very hard to not get upset. They forgot to call the first time then lied saying that they called. I showed them my phone and no incoming calls from them.
I live in Bakersfield and had to travel all the way to be told the product wasn't available. The second time they scheduled for a week instead of two and when I showed up they said I was here for a lower custom but when they took me in the back to they said it wasn't time for it. They did get my wife in and at that time and fixed a stint that kept falling off. Then when I came to pick up my product the for final. They called me after 3 weeks which we gave the lab extra time saying the lab didn't have my product. They should have made sure that deliverables were going to be on delivered on time. They changed my appointment time from 9AM to 8AM for the following week to get the deliverables.
I was en route thinking my appointment was at 9AM which was wrong they called me saying that they would reschedule for 9:20AM for a quick fitting. Which I paid a ton of money for. Not to mention an investment in time, money, wear and tear driving back and forth 97 miles each way. When arriving the girl at the front desk had an attitude and said, "You're late" and they have a 15 minute grace period. Which I already discussed on the phone with the person who called me. She kept up their attitude. I told her, "This was your mess up" and they should be more friendly. She said it would be a two hour wait now and she changed my appointment time from 9:20AM. Time is money to me and wasting my weekend. This place is trash.
Money grubbing dentistry and orthopedic. Last time I was here they had some soft porn movie on the TV. They were always amicable in the past and were nice I called one day to say I was going to be might be late and they said "No problem we are here all day". This was different than times before. The dentist had me sign a a document that I was happy with the orthotics which I really wasn't but didn't want her to feel bad. I don't like confrontation. I thought a professional would make a decision based of the plan they set. Granted my teeth were better than before.

My daughter had three insurances at the time, Medicaid was the third insurance. The office staff informed me that they could only bill two insurances which I was fine with only having the work done that the two insurances would cover. That was until Dr ** insisted that they could bill Medicaid after the two other insurances were exhausted. I was thankful that my daughter could get all the work done that she needed. Then I get a bill for $900. Medicaid, was never billed. During this time I paid $700 out of pocket for a crown which they for some reason billed Medicaid for right away (it was denied due to Medicaid not covering crowns). I reach out to Medicaid and they were never billed for prior services, so I contacted the office who then put through the bill to Medicaid, which was then denied due to “untimely billing.” How is it my fault that they did not bill them timely? During all this time my daughter had 3 root canals and 3 crowns put one….
Fast forward a year, I take my daughter to a new dentist and ALL THREE crowns need replaced due to not being placed correctly… and I'm still stuck with this $900 bill. Absolutely insane. Also, every appointments we waited at least 3 hours. Don’t get me started on the way ** spoke of Medicaid patients when she thought people weren’t listening. Do better.

Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Charged a cancelled appointment fee three days after the dentist cancelled on me 12 hours in advance of the appointment. My wife had a last minute unexpected and mandatory work travel. Apparently they can cancel wherever they want for whatever reason, but not us. Extremely rude about the whole situation when I tried to be reasonable. Will never go back and encourage everyone I know to do the same

Bait and Switch!!! Be aware of full cost disclaimer. I was given 1 price for an implant and after I agreed and they started, they said it would be an additional $2773. The dentist is good but if you use them be sure you have the grand total before starting any work. I reported them to the BBB and the Company refused to honor the original quote. In every way, this was a bait and switch, and they should be ashamed of doing business this way.

I went to Bright Now in Puyallup WA on 3/4/2024 because of tooth pain. When I left, I had a impression done for a upper plate denture, nothing done for the tooth pain. Received my denture the end of APRIL beginning of May. Denture fell out of my mouth. Again another impression, but the technician who took the impression used only 2 fingers to hold the tray all the while talking to somebody stating that one of her fingers is stronger. End result...centerline off by 1/2 inch, and back teeth were lopsided. They said they could fix them and I would have to come back the first week of June. Were not ready. I received them July 2, still did not fit, and that they could not do anything about it because of the holiday, back again. When I received the next time, the denture had too many back teeth, the bite was wrong and I could not close my mouth. Their solution....JUST GRIND THEM DOWN.
Was able to close my mouth, but cannot chew. I was told it was my bite. I am not new to dentures, I know my bite. Every denture has the patient name engraved into the denture. The denture I received did not have my name, too many back teeth and the teeth did not align. I cannot prove it, but I honestly feel these were not my dentures. 7 month later, still no dentures, they have exhausted a denture plan for 5 years!!! Guess I should have read the reviews before I ever set foot in that office.

Case 1- treatment: I came to the clinic for regular cleaning and one of my fillings fell off. Hygienist asked doctor to look and without an X-ray he said that it is a lost cause and I need a crown. I wanted to ask for a second opinion as having a crown when I’m 36yo is a bit early. I went to my old dentist in San Jose, she looked at tooth, did Xray and scheduled me to do filling. When she did, it was easy fix that took her 15 mins. No crown needed and tooth is saved. I still can’t believe the level of incompetency and negligence of the doctor at Bright Now Dental.
Case 2: cleaning. I came for my 2nd cleaning that was scheduled months in advance. Instead of cleaning they took me in for the X-ray. I refused to do it as I’m eligible for 1 X-ray per year with my insurance and did X-ray during the first visit earlier this year. They kept insisting saying that it is required in order to see what cleaning do I need. And I need simple cleaning that is free with my insurance 2 times a year, this is it. So they refused to serve me without X-ray. Wow. I’ve never seen the need of X-ray before cleaning anywhere else.
I truly feel that all they care is your money and you should take your money to another clinic where doctors care for your health. Stay healthy there and good luck with good doctors, hopefully at other place.

My wife and I had an appointment on 6/29/24 at the Jamacha Road location in El Cajon for a routine teeth cleaning. When we went for our appointment the business was closed. We never received an apology. We made another appointment for 7/15/2024 for the routine teeth cleaning. The dentist was about a hour late. When my wife finally was taken in for the cleaning the dentist took about 45 minutes taking about a dozen x-rays that were not needed. To top it off they told us it would take 6 to 8 weeks to get approval from our insurance company for the cleaning. This is not true, we received approval for cleaning weeks ago.
There is something definitely wrong with this dental business. Taking excessive and not needed x-rays can cause radiation poisoning and cancer for some people. I doubt the equipment has been recently calibrated and certified. I also doubt the person was actually a doctor or certified technician. After reading all the complaints, I am surprised that this business is still in business.

I had an oral surgery done back in January and I was told I was going to pay a portion and my insurance would pay the rest. I paid over $1500 after I agreed on what service would not and would cover. About 3 months later I got a surprise bill saying that some services weren’t covered but nothing said was due on my Humana EOB. Bright Now Dental was charging me $800+ saying it was my responsibility. I disputed, opened a case and contacted the department of insurance and even then Humana said I didn’t owe anything. It’s July and bright now has still been bugging me saying they will charge me the $800. I did not agree to this and I will not pay it.

Bright Now! dental in Sandusky OH is incompetent and malicious. My son and I started going to their office in July 2023. February 2024 I was told that my insurance company was rejecting my son's claims. I tried to act as an intermediary between the two but I could not speak to the department that handled the submission of claims to insurance, so I couldn't get the claim number to see why my insurance company rejected it. I paid the bill and submitted the claim to my insurance company. The insurance company paid them. They will not refund my payment. I found out they have been over billing me for cleanings, I should not have had to pay the deductible or for any service.
I have tried to reach out to the office but it just goes to voice-mail and no one returns my calls anymore. I live an hour away so I can't just drop in. The last time I spoke to the office I mentioned they haven't filed the claim for services in March 28th 2024 and they only have 4 months to do so. As of today it still has not been submitted. I filed a claim with the BBB and I got a call 2 days ago saying I owed them $500 for services for me in August 2024. This was a retaliatory action by Bright Now! as the claim for me had been completed in September 2023 and nothing was said about it until this time. I called the office again and left a message. They haven't called back or responded to the BBB complaint. This company is very shady and they don't care who knows it.

Was referred to a Bright Now! location in FL for an extraction. Had referral letter with explicit notes. Had xrays forwarded and they had my insurance info for aboutb1 week prior to appt. Waited almost an hour in dental chair for them to tell me I needed to make another appointment as they needed authorization from my insurer. Exam equipment was either rusty or had dried blood on it as well as a hefty layer of dust on dental stand. As I was leaving the staff tried to stop me, as they still were trying to set up another appt. Most disgustingly dirty med office I have ever been to in my 63 years on the planet.

I had a root fracture in a crowned tooth that a different Bright Now location took an xray of and referred me to the Medina location. Dr. Ahmed ** had removed this tooth, placed a bone graft and then placed an implant post, 3 weeks later after my referral only using the xray taken from the last location. During my 2 week followup he took zero xrays after I stated I was in pain and just took his two fingers and wiggled the implant post, looked at it for a second then stated I was healing up well and sent me out the door. My 2 year old could have done what he did at my followup appt.
A week went by and I was in unbearable pain and my implant post was loose and falling out of my gums. I had called the office repeatedly with no answer. Left voicemails with no return call back. When they finally answered they said I couldn't see the dentist until Wed! Another 2 days away after over a week of calling them and stating I had a dental emergency. They didn't even offer for me to see a different dentist or resort to a different location. I resorted going to Aspen Dental which they discovered a huge infection I had and they removed the post and bone graft and redid the graft, also gave me antibiotics.
I had asked for a refund which I was entitled to and they refused any money back no matter what. I didn't even have this implant in for a month! And it had failed. Any respectable dentist wouldve standed by his work and had refunded the money. The dentists at Aspen Dental stated I was entitled to a refund as well and had explained they would print out the xray showing the infection and would answer any questions bright now dental would have. Bright Now Dental had refused to see the xrays they gave me and stated "that's just hearsay" and their dentist would have to see if I really had an infection.
I had a serious infection that Dr. Ahmed ** could have caught during my two week follow up if he had given me a thorough follow up. Dr. Ahmed ** had failed to give me proper care. Diagnostic shortcuts were made, failed to do adequate x-rays, dental malpractice happened in this situation. It is professional misconduct for a dentist and dental office to refuse to provide you with your records after you make a satisfactory request and sign the release form. They provided me with only the one xray they took after my implant was placed. They refused all other copies of records due to Dr. ** signature being on them.
I did report this to the State Dental Board. We had waited over an hour for our appointment to show him my infection and they ended up kicking myself, my mother and my child out of the office because they stated I had raised my voice in the office. But they changed my appointment time from 330 to 1 and we still waited over an hour and didn't even end up getting seen that day. Refused to let us speak to the manager before seeing the dentist. Refused to give me a copy of my dental records..and so on. The office was negligent in refusing to answer phone calls and being unable to return voicemails concerning a dental emergency. I had asked to speak to the manager Chris before I saw the dentist.
After being taken care of at Aspen Dental who had fixed his mistakes. The front desk girl said I could not speak to the manager until after I saw the Dentist. Chris the manager was at her desk next to her completely ignoring me the entire time. I had asked why I couldn't speak to the manager before I saw him and they couldn't give me any good reason. They just kept repeating themselves. No one in the office was able to provide me the care I needed. They completely mistreated me in every aspect you could mistreat a patient.
I do not recommend Dr. Ahmed ** and the Bright Now Dental in Medina, Ohio as a safe dental facility. Or any Bright Now Dental Location. If anyone would like to listen to a recording of my last visit there regarding this whole situation please don't hesitate to ask. I'd hate for the safety of yourself or a loved one to be at harm. For your sake DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE COME TO THIS LOCATION!

One of my old crowns popped out and cracked, so I visited Bright Now! Dental in Azusa for a new replacement crown. They told me I also needed to get a crown for another tooth that has never given me any problems, so I trusted them. After shaving down said tooth and putting in a temporary crown, this tooth started giving me pain for the two weeks until my permanent crown. Why would a tooth that has never bothered me now be so painful? My fear is that I'll be on pain medication for months until it heals or gets worse. I've been to other dentists, and this is the second dentistry that my intuition has told me to steer clear of. I will always do my research from now on before I visit a dentist's office.

Consumers BEWARE! I want to thank all of you who have posted here. I went to Bright Now Dental last week. I had X-rays done and an examination. I was then told I would need a deep cleaning & scaling and antibiotic dry shots. The previous dentist I went to 6 months ago said nothing of this. However, I had to change dentists because of insurance. I agreed to come back the following week to begin my treatments (costing $700 out of pocket). Then I researched and found this page.
I called Bright Now and told her I didn’t want to start the deep cleaning treatments but rather just get the regular cleaning, that my insurance covered. She immediately became rude and said “I can’t change what you’re coming in for. You can either cancel your Appt or come in & talk to hygienist”. I told her I didn’t want to waste a trip there. I already had an appt with hygienist and I just wanted a regular cleaning. She said “you have only 2 choices…come in or cancel”. I told her she has a bad attitude and I cancelled. I then requested my X-rays. They emailed me a release and we’ll see if I actually get my X-rays.

In August 2023, I went to the Castro Valley Bright Now location for some routine dentistry. She attempted to perform a crown on a recessed molar, something published textbooks clearly state is an endodontic procedure. She ground my molar into a bloody exposed nerve that couldn't be saved. I had to get an emergency extraction, which perforated my sinus and requires several more procedures and an implant to repair. This is gross negligence of proper procedure and has left me near $8000 in debt and immense pain. I have at least 2 more procedures and an implant to go through and it's going to be well over $10k to repair what was once a fine and functioning tooth.
I can't get ahold of anyone in the office to make amends. They charged me for work that hadn't yet been performed. They're now ignoring all my communication. It's published in articles how hard it is to sue a dentist, even for complete incompetence. Their service is criminal and there's 100s of complaints. They need to be held accountable. I could have died and I definitely have permanent damage. This business is shameful.

Visited dentist to possibly "fix" 2 crowns that were too large, bulky and often made it difficult to eat without biting my lower lip. Dentist agreed, asked if they could be filed down, told they have to be replaced. Dentist also told me to change another crown that was 50 years old and not a problem to me, however, he stated it should be changed at this time. So now 3 crowns. My insurance was discussed at length and my co-pay with printouts of charges by the technician who showed me on the computer the coverage and what my co-pay would be (this I paid). I agreed although did mention I needed to know if insurance covered their part, was told, "Yes, no problem, you have good insurance."
13 months after the procedure I received a bill, original insurance company was bought out and I was sent a bill. I have called and written multiple times and 3 months ago I was told it was OK. No bills for 3 months, now receive a collections notice, at almost 80 years old and on social security, I certainly never budgeted for this, a procedure that occurred 2 and a half years ago. I have 10 days to pay amount, called multiple times and no return call, a week has now passed. NEVER have I been late with a bill in 60 years and with the insurance refusing to pay, I have nowhere to turn.
Office manager, named Kip, has not returned my calls, neither has the office. No, I have not bombarded them with calls except I am petrified of being sent to a collections agency when there is a fault with their reporting and billing to insurance company, possibly due to insurance company selling out to another company. I see the CEO of Bright Now! Dentist is Steve Bilt, office in California, I am in Florida. Would he care if I mailed a letter? Would he even receive it? Or would it be like the office here, no return calls? I would NEVER have used this dentist who apparently need to "up sell" services. I would rather have lived with the problem.
Not only do I have a balance here, I paid and still continue to pay dental insurance premiums! Insurance company stated they are not paying as dentist's report appears I had "cosmetic" procedures. I can assure one and all, I would never even considered any "Cosmetic" procedure, I went to discuss how I could fix my problem of the 2 teeth and I believed him when he stated the only remedy was to re-do the crowns as well as the old one I had no problem with and never mentioned to him, that appears it was his "up-sell" for the day.

I’ve had the worst experience ever with this company! I went in to get dentures. I started this process in May & now it’s Nov & it’s not complete yet. I have been in many times now. They removed teeth & put temp crowns in remaining teeth. I’ve had multiple impressions. They did what I thought was a final fit for my dentures then my next appt I thought I would get everything done. They canceled 2 times after that because they said my dentures were not back from the lab. Then they canceled the 3rd appt because the dentist is in Chicago because of her appendix. All 3 appt’s were canceled the day of my appt’s at the last minute. The dentist is still in Chicago, so I I went in for my last appt & they gave me my top denture. It does not fit & is hurting my gums. Now my next appt isn’t until 12/7. Had I not been so far into this journey with them I would of gone somewhere else! They also don’t return phone calls!
