I am waiting for my order from Costco, got my confirmation for delivery by UPS yesterday. It was not delivered instead, I received an email saying, "attempted delivery, sorry we missed you". We didn't go anywhere, we are at home the whole time. It says "will reschedule again tomorrow," but same excuse, no delivery today. I am again waiting tomorrow to see if they actually deliver it. I am very disappointed with their services.

Package was to be delivered today, Friday, between 1:30 and 5. Tracked driver with Ups app and he was within 1 mile of my house. Then delivery was changed to before 9pm. Now changed again till Monday 3 days later. They say do not deliver Saturday but I see UPS trucks everywhere on Saturday. I am not happy, UPS should do better job of routing their drivers. Driver could have delivered today if he had checked his packages.

Their customer service is apathetic. Any company that is apathetic to their customers deserves zero loyalty. I've chosen UPS hundreds of times in the past 12 months for my business. Fortunately, my vendors offer other carriers. They lost a package with several expensive parts, and their response was for me and the vendor to do all of the work. I'll never use UPS again.

UPS has turned into a joke of a company that has no care of concern for the customer. I went to UPS on a Monday morning and mailed a letter that needed to be to its destination by Friday. They charged me $31.73 for a basic piece of mail and now it is not arriving until the following Monday which puts it 3 days outside of the time I paid for and they are treating me like I am unreasonable for being upset at the cost and their lack of delivery. I will not use in the future, not that it matters to them. They told me if you pay for 4 days you have to read their fine print that gives them up to 8 days. What a joke.

I ordered two phones and unfortunately, Verizon decided to use UPS to send it. One phone did not arrive so I checked tracking. Apparently, UPS damaged the package to the point the phone had to be repackaged. They wouldn't change the delivery time or tell me how the package was damaged. I wanted to know how so I could decide if I should accept the phone. Then they lost the package, text me that it was being delivered, however tracking showed the package being shipped to a different state. I offered to pick the package up at the distribution center, but was told they don't do that.

I was expecting a huge check and these idiots sent it to the wrong address. HOW is that possible in today's age? GPS not working? Hired people who can't read perhaps? They literally sent it to an address that was nothing close to mine and when I went there to see if my package was there, the picture looked nothing like it either. So where the hell did you deliver my package?

Absolutely useless. Received notifications 2 days in a row telling me an expensive package was due. Stayed in to wait for delivery both days, but they were a no-show on both occasions. I finally found customer service (call 1-800-GETUPS and just say ‘representive’ repeatedly to get through the maze of automated prompts - took me going in circles for 45 mins to work that out).
Got a completely useless customer service rep who had no idea what she was doing. Tried to tell me they had only received the package two days after the scheduled delivery. Finally got through to a supervisor who was actually good. He escalated the problem and told me a local Las Vegas t the phone literally rang once and he then hung up. He obviously didn’t want to do anything and was going through the motions. Back to calling customer service again. Got an agent who requested by tracking number and then put me back on to a 20-minute hold. Writing this while I’m still on hold. Beyond useless.

I shipped three Christmas packages through UPS to three different addresses. Two were delivered. One was never received. I paid over $300 for insurance on that shipment. UPS denied the claim because the driver said it was delivered. That was their only proof. No photo, no signature, no package. The recipient checked everywhere and with neighbors—nothing. Insurance is pointless if UPS automatically sides with the driver when a package goes missing. In 2026, insured deliveries should require photo proof. I lost the gifts, the insurance money, and my trust. I will never ship with UPS again.

Horrible customer service! UPS are thieves!! I never even received my package because whole time my package was sent to a whole different address purposely and never reached my house. I opened an investigation which took FOREVER (over a month) just for me not to get to any resolution after I was told I would get my money back. I never even received it. I was basically lied to the whole time and was dragged through a whole process just to still get scammed. Ups needs to be HIGHLY INVESTIGATED. This is not the first time this happened and I'm sick of it!!

I paid nearly $80 for overnight delivery from Columbia, SC to Seattle, WA. The package was a valid, stamped, SC birth certificate. UPS sent it to Guadalajara, Mexico, where it was lost. No resolution as of 1/5/2026. The package was mailed 4/25/2025. A valid birth certificate in Mexico is probably worth good money. No help from my Congressional representatives because UPS is a private company (who like to claim they’re concerned about illegal immigration). I had to beg even for a refund of my money.

Recently went to an UPS store to make a return and was charged an additional 1.75 to tape one parcel. I understand this is a capitalist society, but charging for this nominal amount, esp when you’ve already been charged for shipping, is wrong. To make matters worse, the only staff member that could process cash was openly voicing their annoyance about processing a growing mass of parcels behind them. If this had been part of Undercover Boss, the staff member would surely be on the chopping block. Poor body posture, poor tone when speaking to customers, it was offensive.

They have always gone out of their way to please the customer and no matter how busy, never forget anyone in the store. This is a store that always makes you feel welcomed and are treated as a friend. The prices are reasonable and worth every penny, even the 50¢ letters you mail. These guys are awesome and beautiful. I had 2 packages delivered to an RV park after we left. This sounded like an easy fix. The UPS site and searches say you can request the driver bring a label. I was not sure how this works so confirm I called UPS and of course there call center is in another country! I explained that I wanted to ship 2 packages to myself but we were not at the location the packages were to put labels on them. I was instructed to go the the website and create tracking numbers and call back and they would request labels with the driver. Upon calling back I was told only the original shipper could do this. I escalated this and they requested the local center provide labels. I missed a call from them and they did not leave a message. So days later I called again overseas and was told the local center refused to print labels. When asking for a supervisor I was told they could not call me back but I could wait on hold for an hour. I see why they have a 1.2 star rating.

UPS has an outright scam they are pulling on Ebay sellers which is shameful! If you purchase a shipping label on Ebay (which is a discounted fee) UPS will use a DIM Program that "estimates" the weight of your package and not the actual weight itself! I've only used UPS 3 times in the last month and was a victim to this scam each time! To avoid problems, I paid UPS $130.00 to box up a painting for me. They provided me the weight/measurements of the box before I purchased the shipping label for $52.00. Three weeks later UPS billed my credit card an additional $193.00 because their DIM program "estimated" the 20lb package actually weighed 90lb!! Total RIPOFF!!

They’re the GOAT at not delivering because they don’t know what addresses are and then refusing your claim because they’re special chicken nuggets who could never actually be at fault. They’re absolutely perfect and that missing package is definitely on you as is the address they changed multiple times. Customer service isn’t a thing and I personally don’t think they have human employees. They might but you’ll never speak to one. At first, we thought that it was a piece a trash blown on the sidewalk, until later when my wife was walking our dog, she picked up the package. UPS needs to discipline the driver and remind him that no matter what, it's part of his duty to deliver packages to the front of the house not on the sidewalk, especially when the package has the word "EXPRESS" written on it with big letters. I can't imagine of any reasons for driver actions other than being a lazy jerk.

They routinely "misdeliver packages" and have lost multiple of my packages. Then they make contacting customer service difficult by forcing you through a million menus and AI chatbots instead of actual customer service. Then when you actually, finally, thankfully get to talk to a real person, they have a bad attitude. And I empathize with their customer service operators because it is not their fault, the company doesn't empower them or care about doing a good job, and they make it impossible to contact customer service so when you finally do, of course you are mad at the service people. They have no actual in-person people to help, and if you think you can go to a "UPS Store" for help, they will turn you away and tell you to call the AI customer service chatbot slop instead.
They recently lost my wife's package with her xmas present coming from a jeweler. Now I have to wait 10 days for their investigation to tell me what I already know. I have spoken with first tier employees, a supervisor, and a person who works in their "medical department". UPS managed to turn what should have been a routine delivery into an absolute failure—one with serious consequences. My package contained prescription medications, yet UPS lost it and treated the situation with astonishing indifference. Reaching a live representative was nearly impossible; the automated system ran me in circles, and when I finally spoke to someone, the help was superficial at best.
The core issue was a computer glitch on UPS’s end that repeatedly diverted my package to a pickup site four hours away, despite my correct home address clearly printed on the shipping label. Instead of fixing the error, UPS simply let it happen over and over again. I was given empty promises that the package would be retrieved, rerouted, and delivered to my home. None of that happened. Each assurance turned out to be meaningless.
What makes this even more infuriating is that I pay for UPS Choice Premium, which is marketed as a service that provides control, reliability, and support. In reality, it was completely useless. It did not prevent the error, it did not speed up resolution, and it did not provide access to competent customer service. Paying extra for a service that offers zero real benefit during a critical situation feels like a scam.
This wasn’t an inconvenience—it was a failure involving medically necessary prescriptions, handled with negligence, poor communication, and broken promises. UPS demonstrated a total lack of accountability, ineffective systems, and customer service that collapses the moment something goes wrong. If UPS can’t be trusted to deliver essential medication or fix their own errors, they have no business claiming reliability.

Despite providing additional details for the driver—including confirmation that the home is clearly marked with a visible house number on the mailbox—packages continued to be returned. This forced me to request refunds and attempt to avoid vendors that use UPS, even though customers are rarely informed of the carrier before placing orders.
After weeks of calls, I was finally contacted by a local distribution center, as direct access beyond centralized customer service is restricted and no public contact information is available. Although they apologized and assured the issue was resolved, the same problem occurred again the following week. After reviewing customer ratings and feedback, it is clear that thousands share similar experiences, pointing to systemic service failures. What is most frustrating is the lack of accountability and the inability of individual customers to effect any meaningful change or resolution.

When I requested a refund due to the failure to meet the guaranteed delivery timeframe, I was told that UPS “does not do refunds,” despite the service clearly not being fulfilled.
UPS charges a premium for Next Day Air, yet has failed twice to meet even basic delivery expectations. When customers pay for guaranteed service—especially for critical documents—reliability is not optional. UPS’s inability to deliver on its promise, combined with ineffective customer service, is unacceptable. UPS has one primary job: to deliver packages on time. Based on my recent experiences, they have failed to do so.

I ordered something requiring a signature. The first order from this company never arrived. UPS had it recorded as "out for delivery." I waiting around all day with no delivery. The next notice from UPS was that it was returned to sender. Fast forward: The current order was returned to sender because the UPS store wouldn't accept delivery. I have been tracking the order, which was supposed to be delivered today. Again, no delivery. I spent a couple of hours trying to resolve the issue. UPS uses AI, not people.
Once I repeated "agent", numerous times I was rerouted to a call center where the person's accent was so heavy, I could understand much of what he said but I did understand he couldn't help me. UPS forgot that they are providing a service to people. They clearly are more about saving their own time and money than to provide necessary customer service. I will NEVER use them again for my shipping needs. After reading a number of reviews, there are many others experiencing the same lack of service I experienced

He lied, too lazy to drop off my package, next day another day from work. No one is showing up and all I get is, "I’m sorry, we apologize." I live around the corner from the facility and yet two days $1000 worth of material sitting on a truck riding around Newark all day and all I get is "we’re sorry." There needs to be repercussions. Customers should not have to lose time from work for signature required packages and drivers decide they’re too lazy to drop them off. Your driver is a liar. I said let’s go to the post office on Bellingham and Victory and it was 8 bucks. Beware! That cost is outrageous. Post office mails many packages too at a reasonable price. **. On the 1st for Black Friday sales, I online purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator/freezer, and I was not given any option as to before I purchased it online. I was not given any option as to what day I would like to have it delivered. That was the 1st problem. The 2nd problem was that I had to wait, and that was Monday night, and I call people on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of last week. And I was told all the way up until Thursday morning that I had not yet been assigned to a company to have it delivered. When after I purchased the or, the, um, uh, the freezer online. It said it'd be here Thursday, December 4. Now, I don't know about you, but when I'm not home, I don't like to have items delivered, especially like an item as big as that. Um, basically because I wanted to make sure that as soon as it got to my house, I was going to bring it inside.
So I had called, and I, and this was like Thursday afternoon. And they said, "Oh, well, it's delayed anyway." And I says, "Well, my husband and I both have Sundays and Tuesdays off," and they said, "Well, we don't deliver on Sundays." Okay, fine. So Tuesday. So I was, um, I was required to pay for uh, $12 or 1199 to have the date changed to this last Tuesday, the ninth of December. Well, Tuesday ninth, Tuesday, December ninth, came and went and no delivery. So I ended up calling that evening, fuming, and um, spoke to somebody, I believe in the Philippines, um, or could have been Mexico, I don't know. But, um, Because a person would not identify. As to what country? And um, I informed her that I had to pay to have the date changed to a later date, then their original day of the 4th of December. She told me, well, um, you, we, "It just got assigned, and it's with UPS." I said, "Well, um, I need to have it on the Tuesday, December 9th." She says, "Okay, fine."
So we got that, like I said, the day came in and went and no. Upright freezer, frigidaire. So, Tuesday afternoon, I called to confirm that it was still arriving that day and I also checked, um, not only the website for home people, but my app that I had recently downloaded. Come to find out it's it said it was in uh, it was uh, in transit. Well, it said it had gotten to my West Sack, California distribution center. Great. But the next part for it being out for delivery was not showing. So I had called to say what's going on? So the person said, well, um, Let me, uh, this is person in in the Philippines, I'm pretty sure. She says, "Well, I can leave a message for your local fish and business center and find out what's going on." And I says, "And you'll be the one to call me back." She says, "Yes, I will." I said, okay.
So not 10 minutes later, um, I was speaking with my husband about all this because we, again, we're both off on Tuesday. And I got a call from a supervisor from the West Sacramento, California. distribution center saying, uh, it's not on the truck. So why didn't they get on the truck? Well, I don't know. Okay, well, isn't it your job to make sure that it, that happens? Well, yeah, okay. Well, one of mine or other people. I said, well, somebody fell into doing their job today. Because I don't see my appliance being delivered today. And so she says, okay, well, see what I can do and uh, she said, well, "The best I can do is make sure it's on to check tomorrow," like you failed in doing today, or any of the other coworkers, supervisors, fail in doing that job today. She says, "I'm sorry, ma'am, but if you want to call in the morning, our distribution center opens at 9 AM. Uh, you can call then and and see if it's on a truck." Okay, fine.
So yesterday morning, the 10th of December. I called and spoke to a Christine, the previous one, I think her name was, Wendy, but I'm not entirely sure. But anyway, so I talked with the Christine yesterday morning at the West Sacramento distribution center. And she, I explained to her what was going on up until that point. She said, well, Let me find out. I'll give you a call back. She verified my phone number. She verified the order number, uh, and verified that it was supposed to been here the day before on the ninth. Okay.
So maybe, I don't know, five, 10 minutes, she calls him back and she says it's on a truck. I said, "Well, not to sound too pessimistic." I use other words, no foul language, but I was very pessimistic on it being on a truck. Yesterday. Um, I said, well, and I had told the person the night before, when I was talking them at the West Sacramento, Distribution center, I says, "Look, I says, my husband and I, thank goodness we have Tuesdays off. But unfortunately, your company failed in delivering our product." I says, "Now, I need to have our, um, appliance delivered after 6 PM on Wednesday, December ninth." She says, "Well, you have to talk to tell that person in the morning." So I did.
When I talked with Christine yesterday. I says, "Listen, Christine," I says, "here's a headache that I've had so far, and I told her everything that I've told you." And she says, "Well, I have verified that it's on a, it's on a truck and they headed to you today, but I cannot guarantee when it will be there." And I told Christine, "Listen. I says, I have, I have a lot of insecurities about what's going to happen today." And I says, "Neither my husband or I going to be home until after 6 p.m. this evening or 1800, your time, whatever format you use." Um, and I says, "Can you understand where I'm coming from?" Well, I can see, I says, "No, I don't think you do." So that was the whole trouble, uh, uh, yesterday.
Well, unfortunately, it did arrive before 6 PM or 1800 hours, if you want to, you know, whatever format you use. Thankfully, it was still home, it was still here when I got home because I got home before my husband. Well, um, he had a friend come on by and help us use an appliance dolly. Uh, bring it into our home. And my husband, uh, and his friend had really noticed, um, there are the holes, uh, on the outside box, uh, containing our appliance. Um, I was, I had been busy uh, talking uh, on the phone, trying to get other things situated. Well. No sooner had, uh, the cover been removed from the, uh, freezer that they were noticing a whole bunch of dents, uh, on the appliance itself, and they said, oh, look, look at this box. There's holes in this box too.
Now. My husband has told me that in the past, he has delivered, uh, appliances, and, you know, and I formerly worked for, um, uh, Good Lord. Sears, when they were still open and alive here in in California and Sacramento, and I never had a technician tell me, well, that their appliance was dented or busted or whatever based on the delivery. And so that got that got me extremely concerned, upset, frustrated, all a whole ball in one. So I took pictures, um, last night, uh, of not just the uh, freezer, but also the box. Now, I went on the website and I started filling out a claim with UPS, and they only allowed 3 pictures. Uploaded. I had taken, of course, way more than that, like about 9 to 11.
And he says, well, "Look, it may not be the problem of UPS. It could have, it might be the problem of Home Depot." And I says, you know what? I think you're all right on that. I says, because who? In their right mind, would allow an appliance to be, uh, put on a truck, put put in transit, wherever hell got trans, uh, transported. And then given to the company, I forget the name of the company right now. Um, and to allow it to be delivered, damaged. And he says, you know what? Good question. So, I called this morning and I spoke with somebody in Mexico.
Now. I'm a person I firmly believe that way too many companies are outsourcing their customer service, um, because I'm one of those people that it's difficult for me anymore. I used to be able to understand people with with accents, but for me, it's difficult anymore. And I told the guy, I says, look, I says, I'm having a hard time understanding you today. I said, he says, well, I have and it, um, I have options for you. And I said, Okay, where are those options? And he and he told me 4 I kind of remember, I think, 3 of them. Uh, like a full refund return, uh, of the appliance. Um, The other was an exchange, uh, getting a new one, bringing back the old one. A 3rd one is a partial refund. And to be honest, like I said, I don't remember what the 4th option was that he gave me.
And I, I says, "Well, what time, uh, does your call, does your call center or whatever? Uh, what time are what are your hours? Are you 247 or are you otherwise?" He says, "Well, we're 5 to 9, 5 AM to 9 PM." And I said, "Is that central, east or Pacific?" And he says, "Well, we're central." I said and I said, "What time is it there?" And it was, to me, it was a little after 9. He says it was a little after 11. "So basically you're telling me 3 a.m. to 7 p.m. my time." He says, "Yes." I said, okay, good as long as I understand that. So I said, "Look, I'm going to have to talk to my husband, uh, see what we're going to find out. And I'll call back and we'll go from there." Okay, great. Because I had to get going to work. My husband was already at work and I didn't want to be late.
So, That comes to bring us to us and me talking to you. We both agree that we need a, um, full refund, uh, a refund, uh, replacement. We want to re- we want a replacement. Um, and here's the thing. It was not my direct payment, I did not contract with UPS. I was required by Home Depot to pay that to have a day changed. So I fully expect Home Depot to bring us a new one and take the damaged one. Oh yeah, definitely. On their dying. Because it, great because of what we were put through.

UPS is incorrectly applying tariffs to items shipped from overseas. A quick google search will show they are placing a 200% tariff on items under the aluminum category, even if that item contains no aluminum. They make it next to impossible to resolve, and even after resolution the tracking shows COD due. All calls are routed to call centers overseas making communication and problem resolution difficult. Spent over 3 hours on hold to make payment of corrected duties and fees for an international shipment, only to be billed by invoice later.
Another round of hours long waits to be told to send off another round of emails to hopefully resolve this issue. Their website wants to talk about the ever-changing tariff policy, but UPS are the ones incorrectly classifying items shipped from overseas. There website seems to want to pass the buck to US Policy, but miraculously after hours of time spent and chasing down contacts, they reduce the tariff to a fraction of the cost.
I am fortune that our local UPS Drivers are great, however internally they need to take a hard look at their customer service. It is apparent they only care about volume and place blanket fees and duties on items hoping the average consumer won't spend the time and effort to get a resolution. It is also apparent they deliberately make it difficult to contact people, for on their website most numbers go to the same place and any call is then met with instructions to email so and so at ups.com. Why are these email contacts not available online? Why are there no options to resolve these issues through remote chat? Finally, I get through and the person says they can see my payment but must transfer me to another department, whose wait time is over hour?!?!! Completely Ridiculous!

I deeply regret having to express my complaint publicly, but the service I have received from UPS has been absolutely unsatisfactory. The delivery of my shipment has not been completed correctly due to repeated errors in the handling of the address, which the company neither explains nor corrects, despite my multiple attempts to contact them. UPS does not provide effective communication channels: the virtual assistant does not resolve the issue, and there is no accessible human support that would allow the problem to be fixed. As a result, the consumer suffers direct harm: a significant loss of time and the inability to receive a product that has already been paid for. I placed an order about a month ago. The product cost $90, and I paid around $80 just for shipping. The package was supposed to be delivered two weeks ago, but every time the driver came to my door, they neither rang the doorbell nor knocked, so I had no way of knowing the delivery attempt was made. Instead, they only left a sticky note saying I needed to pay an additional $105 in taxes. That means for a $90 product, I am paying almost $200 in shipping and tariff charges. Since I needed the package urgently, I called UPS and waited 45 minutes on hold for customer service. I finally paid the additional amount, and the representative said they would send me the receipt, but I still haven’t received it, even after one week.
Today, the package finally arrived, and I was told I needed to pay another $105 again, even though I already paid. I couldn’t provide proof of payment because I never received the receipt, and it seems the status of my package was never updated properly. My question is: Is there no communication between UPS departments? This entire situation has been frustrating and a complete waste of time and energy. I am still waiting for a refund of the extra amount I paid. This has never happened to me before, and it has caused me a lot of unnecessary anxiety. I kindly request a prompt investigation and resolution of this issue, including proof of my payment and a refund of the excess charges. Thank you.

This happened today as it did a few years ago. My package was tossed over my gate, which opens easily and isn't locked, and left on the damp ground. It's something that can be unusable if it gets wet. If it had been snowing or raining, which is in the forecast and I hadn't happened to see it, it would have been ruined. It should have been left in my unlocked porch, as requested, or at least left outside the door for it to be easily seen. Nope!! Thrown on the ground like garbage. A few years ago we had a delivery driver who constantly did this and when I caught him he said to me, "well you have a fence so you have a dog and we don't deal with dogs"...WHAT!!!! The fence isn't finished and there is no sign of a dog anywhere. After I complained it stopped happening after 2 packages were ruined in the weather.
I went on the website to file a complaint and of course the automated AI thing doesn't handle complaints nor could I find a way to contact anyone so screw it. I'll leave a review, not that they care. After only making 2 attempts, the driver never made a 3rd attempt, but obviously lied and said they did, and then instead of holding it for me to pickup, they returned it to the sender. Customer service was no help and simply kept repeating to me over the phone that I had to contact the shipper, while continuing to call me by the wrong name, after I told him my actual name multiple times. When I asked him if it was their policy to send packages back after “3” attempts instead of holding them for customer pickup, he was very dismissive and repeated multiple times that I needed to contact the shipper.
When I finally made him understand what I was asking with regards to future shipments, and that I did not mean this particular package, he said that no they don’t usually hold packages for pickup. I had already tracked the package on my own and I already knew that it had been sent back, but I wanted an explanation as to why and I stated that the driver did not do their job and should be held accountable, so this doesn’t happen again in the future. I've had two really poor experiences with UPS in the space of a week, both on the same route, and it's made me very reluctant to use them in future. The most recent problem is with a Lenovo shipment (tracking: **). The tracking suddenly shows: "The street name is incorrect. This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address." My full UK address and postcode on the label are correct and have been used successfully many times by other couriers. In the UK, the postcode effectively pinpoints the building, so claiming the "street name is incorrect" feels like a generic excuse rather than a real issue. Meanwhile, my delivery is delayed for no good reason.
This comes right after another bad experience just a few days earlier with a different UPS parcel (**). That one was marked as "delivery attempted," but nobody rang, nobody called, and there was no card left. I was home at the time and monitoring the tracking. The next update told me it had been sent to an Access Point, so I ended up having to go and collect it myself. From my point of view, it looks like no genuine delivery attempt was made.
One mistake can happen with any courier, but two incidents in a week, with tracking updates that don't match reality, suggest a pattern on this route. It feels like the driver is scanning generic reasons ("address incorrect," "delivery attempted") instead of actually trying to deliver. That wastes my time, delays urgent items, and completely undermines trust in the tracking information. I have submitted a formal complaint to UPS about this, referencing both tracking numbers, and asked them to investigate the driver on this route and correct the handling of my current shipment. Until I see a clear improvement, I'll avoid choosing UPS where I have any say in the courier used.

He said he doesn't want to leave my package outside because is doesn't have a fence in the front but l have fence in the side of the house so l ask him if they ever had any problems with a package at my address. So I asked him if he doesn't feel comfortable leaving it at the door to please leave it inside the fence at the side of the house or at the back door. This is over 2 years ago, still the same thing and he's very familiar with me. As soon as he sees me he knows my address, l don't know if he is only doing this to me or if anyone else is facing the same problem, and today around 2pm l got a notice on my door that they tried to deliver. l look outside. l saw him a few house down so l went to him and asked him. He said he's on lunch now and he can't give it to me, and also he can't give it to me away from my address, so l told him l have my id and l am only a few house down, he said he will come back around 3 to 4. l said ok and l go back home and leave what I was doing and sat outside and waiting because l had lost my phone and I bought back one and so l needed it to go to work and he never came.
So l tried calling UPS support and ask if l can pick it up at one of their dropped off location they said l can't do that, they will tried to deliver again to that is the only way, (95% of the people in this country have to work and don't be home at the middle of the day, so l guess they will probably return it back and charge me for it again. But, for some reason out of the blue with my last delivery I was notified that my package could not be delivered because the address was wrong. I knew that my address wasn’t wrong but I went ahead and checked- it was correct. There was a link to put my “correct” address so I clicked it- it was pre-filled with my address, and it was correct, so I hit confirm. UPS said they would deliver the package once an updated time was available. I felt uneasy with that response and reached out to Sephora as that is where my package was from (side note, I have packages from Sephora delivered every other week, this was not the first time and I’ve lived at the address for MONTHS) via app chatting.
Debbie, informed me that UPS told Sephora that they couldn’t deliver my package because my name wasn’t on the mail directory. I said well that’s really odd because I was told my address was wrong, which it wasn’t. I also told Debbie that their response to Sephora was sus because they’ve never had an issue delivering to my unit before, biweekly deliveries, and that it doesn’t make sense for them to say that I’m not on the mail directory because we don’t have that at this complex nor do they deliver to the mail boxes, and my name is on my mailbox so if they did deliver to mailboxes they should have delivered it as my name is on the mailbox, literally, physically. Debbie just said that they have been notified that the package will be delivered the next day. However, on my end- when looking at UPS’ website, it still didn’t have a delivery time.
I waited until Monday to call UPS, when there were humans I could speak with via phone. The first person told me that they could not deliver because I wasn’t on the mail directory, I told her exactly what I told Debbie at Sephora. She said, not to worry- that she has instructed the delivery driver to deliver the package to the address- I asked her why they couldn’t of just done that and she did not give me an answer other than I could pay to have a membership with UPS to text my driver for IRL updates- I said something along the lines of why would I pay to text the driver to deliver my package to the address it’s already slated to go to? That sounds like a crock of scam ma’am and hung up. About an hour goes by and I started to realize that I didn’t really understand why the package hadn’t been delivered- I was given one answer that was a lie and they told Sephora another answer which was a lie.
I went to my apartment office and asked them if we did have a mail directory, they said no. I told them what was going on and they confirmed that UPS doesn’t have mail keys so they weren’t sure what UPS was saying. So I called UPS back (now I had the option to do a customer service survey after the phone call) and asked why the package hadn’t been delivered. I told her the reason I was given and the reason Sephora was given, I told her I went to the apartment office and they confirmed what I had already said.
I was told by the new representative that the package wasn’t delivered because I had put in a new address request. I responded by saying that I only put the address change request in because y'all notified me that y'all couldn’t deliver it because “the address was wrong” so to recap- the only reason I “changed” the address which I didn’t, was because y'all said it was wrong. So can you tell me why it wasn’t delivered if it wasn’t the address? Because the address only came up after y'all “failed to deliver it”. She then went on to say that because of the change of address they’ll no longer be able to deliver it and that I needed to call Sephora to ask them to “kindly send my package” I said ma’am, Sephora doesn’t have the package y'all do- I was told an hour ago that y'all would be delivering it now your saying y'all don’t even have the box and I need to make Sephora send it?
At this point, I was exhausted and busted out the Karen. I said “is there a manager I can speak to. I’d like to speak with a supervisor” and she said I’m putting a request in for you to speak with a manger. I said thanks and she waited for me to hang up. But I wanted to do the survey so I didn’t hang up- and she goes ma’am, you make hang up now, we are done. And I said, no I want to do the survey, you can hang up. And I did the survey. So now I’ve chatted with Sephora, my apartment complex and two different UPS employees- I decided to call Sephora this time around. I spoke with Melissa who listened to the whole story, without interrupting. She kept up with it all- and she said I’m not sure what UPS is doing, but let’s just check your address, and it was correct. I told her how UPS said I needed to call Sephora so they could deliver my package and she said that they don’t have it, which I already figured.
While I was in the phone with Melissa, the UPS manager left a voicemail saying that they’ll attempt to deliver the package by the end of the day. He gave no reason as to the delay nor any explanation. The package was not delivered by the end of the day. I did however receive it the next day, and just to see, I glanced at the postage sticker. It had my address (which was correct) on it, and under that postage sticker was another postage sticker, the original one, I peeled it back only to see my correct address. So I have no idea why UPS couldn’t deliver my package. I have packages delivered weekly and from Sephora biweekly.
I’ve been doing this for years and I’ve lived at this complex for almost half a year now. So this was random and sporadic. I’m happy it was delivered but the lying is just gross and filthy and unethical. If y'all couldn’t deliver the box, just say y'all ran out of time and it’ll be delivered tomorrow. But no, I was lied to and left not knowing the outcome of the delivery because everyone had a different response at UPS. I would like to note- this was a sold out item so I couldn’t have just re-ordered it.

Not acceptable! Here is what UPS does...we all can get free 3-5 day shipping by just about everyone, everywhere but wait: If you pay $30.00 (actually $29.68) you can have it delivered in three (3) days. Period. Then we give them our money, we watch the tracking, seller got it out the same day as ordered, that's one hurdle out of the way. We watch our stuff travel across America until it arrives at our hub in our city. Wow, it just might happen! Whoa! Hold up! Your shipment has been delayed. Your shipment is now scheduled for "tomorrow". Wait! I paid for my shipment to be in my hand today. I'm going to call them...then we are fed the typical big business rubbish and no one can (will) help and it's just unfortunate (tragic) that we couldn't get your stuff to you in a timely manner (fail).
The stuff we order would have been here tomorrow anyway if we had selected the free shipping but now they have our extra $30.00 as well because of mechanical breakdown. I have been told my stuff is going to be late three times in a row now due to mechanical breakdown. So, if everyone pays their $30 to have something delayed by at least one day, why are the trucks always breaking down? They are scamming us all out of our money for what? It sure isn't going to the ground transport fleet; I can tell you that! Call customer service. I dare you. There will be no help and they will make sure to be helpless in getting your rightfully deserved refund.
For background, I ordered tubes for an amplifier with 3 days shipping on Monday. Seller got the order out on the same day. I needed these tubes by Thursday and paid the extra cost to have them on...wait for it...Thursday! UPS got this package all the way to the destination city and as usual in Tulsa, everyone is at UPS can't handle it. They delay it one day at least, every. Single. Time. Now they have my money and my sanity.

I followed the packaging guidelines to the letter, but kraft paper and tape CANNOT protect a long thin item when the box is snapped in half. I’ve had an extremely frustrating experience with UPS — and unfortunately, this isn’t the first time. Similar issues have happened multiple times over the last three years, and nothing seems to improve. This time, I received an SMS yesterday saying my package was ready for pickup. But when I contacted UPS, I was told the package had actually been delivered to the service point a week ago and was now gone because I “didn’t pick it up.”
When I pointed out that I only received a message yesterday, they first tried to blame the sender for not including my number. But if that were true, how did they manage to send me an SMS at all? Their explanations kept contradicting themselves. They also said the delivery driver “could not enter the building,” but apparently, the driver cannot call customers because they “can’t use their personal phones.” So instead, packages just get marked as attempted without any real attempt to reach me.
UPS now says they will send the package to another service point, but the entire situation has been confusing, time-consuming, and completely unnecessary. After several similar experiences over the last few years, my trust in UPS is extremely low. Clear communication, consistent procedures, and basic customer service should not be this difficult.

Horrible experience with UPS starting here in Fredericksburg Va, we paid $130.00 on Monday 27 October to ship a dress and jewelry to my daughter in San Diego California for the upcoming Marine Corp Ball at Camp Pendleton. It was supposed to arrive on Friday 31 October, it is 6 November and it has not arrived nor can they find the shipment. The last know location is Richmond Va on the 28th of October. UPS has done little to nothing to assist us, we filed a claim but have gotten nothing back from their customer service nor the adjuster assigned to the case. I would never use ups again for anything important, one of their employees probably stole the shipment because it was valuable and insured.

These people are such a joke! I’ve sent several packages marked fragile and EVERY SINGLE ONE was damaged. The UPS driver delivered a fragile plug UPSIDE DOWN to my brother! I’ll use USPS or FedEx because they're NOT STUPID!!!

I live in an apartment building and cannot leave a delivered package outside, especially not one worth $1,000. The stated delivery time window came and went and then UPS added 6 hours, till 9pm, as the updated window for delivery. I am not going to be home but they said (online chat box) I could postpone the delivery, reschedule delivery or have it sent to another secure pick up spot. The problem is they want me to PAY to do that. So, UPS is late but the want me to pay to fix it. Now, I have to postpone my plans for the night and HOPE the package shows up by 9pm. This is why I NEVER use UPS. I'll just have to make sure my suppliers don't either. Ridiculous.

There is a consistent issue with UPS as the shipper when ordering online. Amazon and others use UPS without knowledge, then UPS, instead of delivery on the first day, claims “The street number is incorrect,” though it is not and delays delivery. All attempts to correct the address with their CS is fruitless, most often the reps referring you back to Amazon or other sender. The other alternative offered is to pay to change the delivery, but that makes no sense since the address is correct. This has happened for the last 3 months, and our address is always clear and accurate on the shipping info and eventual package. On at least one occasion, a UPS truck is even caught on our doorbell camera delivering to the units just across the road a few feet away. Our address is one that if one plugs it into Maps app, directions guide right to our doorstep, so it makes no sense UPS cannot consistently make a delivery.

Very bad customer services. Spent numerous of hours on the phone and still nothing has been resolved. I’ve called on the issue over 5x times. A rep left myself on hold for over an hour. 0/10 would NEVER recommend services.
