I ordered Nu Skin's Facial Spa to the tune of $593.00. I was impressed with the before and after pictures and also the 100 satisfaction money back guarantee. I did everything to their specifications and there was no difference to my face. I have been trying to get a refund for several months and I have jumped through every hoop but Nu Skin has no intention of giving me a refund, despite receipts, pictures etc. Save yourself a lot of time and hard earned money. Don't buy anything that these people sell. It is a complete and total rip off!

The only thing I find to be a scam regarding Nu Skin (NS) are most of the reviews on this site. Many mention getting samples, yet NS does not offer samples. Some mention being enrolled in an auto-ship program without their knowledge, yet no one can become enrolled in the NS auto-ship program without first requesting the service, providing shipping and credit card information, and agreeing to the service in exchange for a discounted price and flat rate shipping. The program is controlled by the customer and can be cancelled at any time. As far as refunds, NS offers a generous return policy of 100% refund within 30 days for any reason and 90% thereafter for up to a year for unopened products.
NOTE: If you purchased NS products from a website other than www.nuskin.com, such as eBay or Amazon, you didn't interact with NS or a NS distributor complying with NS regulations or code of conduct. You likely dealt with a foreign company and received counterfeit or expired product. That is, if your story is even true.
It is important to clarify the difference between an employee of NS and a distributor. NS has a reputation for world class customer service. On the other hand, out of the hundreds of thousands of NS distributors worldwide, human statistics would suggest someone somewhere will break the rules. NS takes complaints seriously and vigorously enforces rules which includes terminating the offending distributor.
Anyone who makes a decision whether to do business with ANY company based on "reviews" by unknown sources on sites such as this is simply being naive. Ask yourself, "Who are these people and what is their motive?" Consumers need to approach the internet with caution and common sense. Personally, I have found NS to be a wonderful, socially responsible company with an extensive line of products that deliver tremendous results. I am a very satisfied customer. Then again, you don't know me either, do you?

I have been using the Nu Skin/Pharmanex products for six years. I have been actively involved as a distributor for five years. I'm a Nutritionist with a private practice and my clients have also used the products. My experience has been nothing but positive. The customer service is outstanding and I have had to return products, stop auto-ships and work with technical support, and have always been happy with service. I personally use over twenty products and have had outstanding results!

Bought galvanic spa system (elec. skin stimulator) for $400 from Atlantis Med spa in Silver Spring MD. Total waste of money and time. It does not deliver enough electricity to feel any stimulation. After using it for years with no apparent improvement, I stopped using it. I now use a similar product, $30 which delivers enough electricity to feel.

Ordered product Tuesday evening. Was told since new account, it would be Thursday when order would be processed. Called Wednesday morning at 7:00 am to cancel and was told I couldn't cancel since it was already being packaged. I have to wait until I receive package and then return it. They said they have no way to cancel once it's been packaged. Doesn't make sense. Interesting how needing to wait 2 days to process because new account turned out to take less than 12 hours! I will tell everyone my experience with Nu Skin!

Living in Utah County, I'm very familiar with multi-level marketing companies. If you think that Nu Skin is a "scam" or a "pyramid scheme," then you obviously don't have much experience with network marketing. I've found that everyone I've worked with at Nu Skin has been honest and forthright. If your concern with Nu Skin is that their products are "overpriced," that's fair. Most of their products are definitely more pricey than I care to pay for health care products in my everyday life. The fact is that the employees of the company (and distributors) all seem very happy, and their CEO has a very high approval rating within the company. Sites like this one seem to be content to post ONLY negative reviews and then try to convince Nu Skin to pay to have them removed. If you're really looking to learn about Nu Skin, just talk to someone who actually knows about the company.

I bought many Nu Skin beauty products to help a friend. Foolishly did not keep receipts. Then wanted to return products and was told the return time was past. The problem is that many of the products were unopened and still in original wrapping. I know that these products can be resold. Good for the reps and company. I find this a very dishonest policy and would say...Don't go near this company.

I have a relative that is a sales rep for this company and out of courtesy, we bought the weight loss supplement system for $1500. I was promised miracles. I followed the regimen and within a month, I may have lost 5 lbs. All came back after I stopped using the products. I do not believe there is anything special about this product and would not recommended to anyone. I do have to say they trained these sales representatives very well and after doing extensive research on the company, I realize that the company is doing well because of the sales pitch, and not because of their products or customer service. Just be careful with this company, especially if you want to return anything.

I have been using skin care and supplements made by Nu Skin for over 3 years now and must say that I have not come across anything better on the market. Nu Skin ageLoc skin care is top quality anti-aging range available today. Just recently switched to Medik8 and after 2 weeks my face looked several years old. Quickly I went back to my ageLoc products. To really see any benefits one need to be using the products over longer period of time and a monthly orders make total sense as you save 30% of purchase price.

I was hesitant about Nu Skin because of their multilevel marketing. It really is a pyramid scheme. The confusing thing to me is that I found the Galvanic Spa to be very effective. This was a pleasant surprise and led me to try other products. It seems that all the skin products I and others I know have tried live up to the hype. Again a pleasant surprise. On the downside I bought the TR90 body transformation package. To say the least I'm underwhelmed. For the exorbitant price I expected phenomenal results, and haven't seen much. The accompanying diet plan is OK but very little different from how I was eating before, i.e. lots of veggies and protein with limited carbs. The shake meal substitute tastes better than most protein shakes so that is OK.
My problem is that if this stuff is somehow supposed to work on the genetic level, why the spartan diet plan? This leads me to question the veracity of all their ageLOC claims. I looked at the ingredients of the LifePak vitamins and really didn't see anything special in the ingredients or delivery. To me for the money, Athletic Greens and BioTrust products are more advanced. The TR90 program is a disappointment...so buyer beware.

I decided to treat myself to a galvanic spa as a friend told me she'd had a demo and thought it was good. A rep came round and did one side of my face but it did nothing as I'm still young. I still wanted to purchase as I wanted a machine for prevention of any future age related issues. I used the device twice and it opened my pores. I didn't have open pores before. Now I have craters on my face which depress me terribly as I had no issues before. The rep said she found it hard to believe but said she wanted to put me in touch with a skincare specialist. I waited about 2 weeks. When I spoke to the lady she was in a busy coffee shop with bad reception and proceeded to blame the pores on my choice of make-up then left me hanging. The rep then said she'd put me on to someone else. I received a call saying the same thing that it was impossible that it was their product and she'd call me later with some help. She never called back (what a surprise). These people are only interested about making money and don't care about customers. I'd like to point out the handset enlarged the pores of everyone I used it on. As I can't seem to find any similar cases I would be led to believe it's a faulty handset. Now I have to live with my craters and try and accept the situation. Life sucks.

The combination of the face spa and ageLOC has taken a good 10 years off my face. The supplements have CHANGED MY LIFE. I had wasted so much money on bad supplements for my arthritis. R2, LifePak nano and cartilage formula have given me back my mobility. No more old woman shoes for me. As a former professional model I can tell you - this is the best stuff I have ever used! Yes you can resort to plastic surgery and injections, but you are risking looking funny. ageLOC takes care of the source of the aging, not just the symptoms. I am a very happy camper. I am including before and after shots. Notice the texture change between my brows. Body spa shot too. I treat 1 arm, the other has "wings".

My experience with Nu Skin has to do with a scamming representative. Donna ** of Scottsdale agreed to sell me a used Galvanic Spa for $50.00. Later she wanted it back. I did not have the money at that time. I asked her to please pick up unit if she wants it back.. Instead, she filed a lawsuit against me for over $600.00. This is extortion and lying in the court of law is perjury. This Nu Skin rep has continuously harassed me using the legal system. All because she did not want to come to my home to pick up this toy-like handheld device. I eventually mailed the unit back to her after her third legal attempt, which served me after court date. However, she never picked up the package and it was returned to me by postal service.. So was it actually the spa she wanted.. or to hurt and lie about someone else. I reported the harassment to Nu Skin Compliance Officers.. No response. Bad Business

I am an anesthetic technician in New Zealand on a working visa. I was struggling to find work and so I decided to place an ad on the internet offering my services (hospital work, admin, clerical, even just gardening work to make a few dollars). A few days later I was contacted by a Sue **, a representative of NU SKIN by phone who also sent me an email from **. She told me how amazing the company she was working for was, how it was a multi-billion dollar company and is looking for people like to work for them and sell. Sounded great at first. She was very enthusiastic. So I told her I would have a think about it.
I go by the term 'if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is!' I knew something was up, and after reading this I am absolutely appalled at how a company can treat its customers like this. I go by the odds, and surely, all the people on this website can't be wrong. Clearly this company is exploitation of vulnerable people and their money. However, if people keep writing reviews about their experience with this company and make it easy for people like me to find this information on the internet then there WILL be justice in the end. NU SKIN will soon be forced to change its name or its representation. I do not want to work for such a shoddy scam artist company. DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE YOU INVEST IN ANYTHING LIKE THIS.

This company is deceptive and immoral. I ordered one thing with a certain price and was charged another and was enrolled in an auto pay/shipment plan without my permission. Sad that a company has to lie to get business. Two different phone reps were rude and hung up on me. Additionally the product that was supposed to last 30 days lasted for two days. Shame on this company. All employees there should find different jobs because what you all are doing is immoral.

For Three billing periods, now Nu Skin has double charged our checking account causing several NSF charges. I contacted them when it first started and they assured me it would never happen again. Well, it did and it caused more NSF charges. Each time you call, you get someone who has no idea what they are talking about. They say they need to talk to someone in billing and that person is always sick or out. They claim they will get back with me and take care of this and never call back. I have cancelled my account which I have had for over ten years because I do not trust them.
I have to fight the charges through my bank because Nu Skin never does what they say and they have never credited my account for the charges or reimbursed me for NSF charges as stated by their rep. They really need to train their employees better and they need to return calls. I am very disappointed in their customer service. I still don't even feel comfortable with them right now; they have my information and could do this again.

Nu skin galvanic spa - I bought in 2012 this 2 products for face and body. Nothing change but I just want to mention something. Does anyone realize that the heads of this small machines are from plastic? Plastic doesn't conduct the energy power from battery. They are metallic painted only, the place where the hand is holding, yes is the one that make noise happening. Can anyone explain?

Be careful with Nu Skin's products and people. They are scams. For example, they were with iPads to call or text me all the time to sell me a face lift up machine and some products that cost about $450, then I cannot use that. It’s like a toy for a baby; it doesn't work well like the sales agent told me. Then I texted her to ask how to return those products, but she just said "contact the company". Then I contacted the company and what I received was just sell it to somebody else, and they won't take it back. I was so mad, upset and had so much headache because I was stuck with this stupid thing. I don't want to pay that amount for nothing and cannot get my money back. I cannot imagine there is still a company like that in America.
Then I called my credit company to dispute that transaction. And after they reviewed it, they said I already signed a contract with Nu Skin and that their return policy states that I cannot return it because it was opened. I am still stuck with this problem. In fact, in America, if I buy any products, I can return it any time if I am not satisfied with that product or at least the seller will let me know about the return policy for me to think about it before deciding to buy. With this Nu Skin Company, they keep silent and don't even let me go through the contract. They just go so fast on their iPads, then submit it and leave you alone with problems; and after that they will run away because the money they rip off from me and others are already in their pockets, and they don't care what happened to me. They already had commission from selling those useless products to have gold or diamond awards to receive a ticket from company to travel all over the world with cruise trips or something like that.
I cannot believe that there is still a company like that exists in the US and still has a lot of people working for it; people working like that to deceive people around them to earn money alone with any problems after that. Please help me get my money back. I cannot return it because the box is opened. I am still in America. Then I contacted my credit.

I purchased a Nu Skin ageLOC face spa at the end of August 2012. The Nu Skin representative who sold me the package assured me that there was a 90-day money-back guarantee. All I had to do was take pictures of my face every 30 days to document the effects. After 85 days, I saw no appreciable change in the appearance of my face and requested a refund. Long story short, after spending 35 minutes on the phone with a Nu Skin customer service rep, I was told that the only thing they could do is refund 90% of my purchase price with company credit. I would not recommend this product or any product from Nu Skin, considering the poor customer service that I received.

I purchased the Galvanic Body Spa for $394 at the end of January and received it 3 weeks later. Then I started to use the machine with the cream, etc., just as the instructions says, but I haven’t really notice any change. I've been trying to contact someone to help me with this and have a refund on this product, but I haven’t been able to reach anybody from the company. I want to send this back and get my refund. I’m not satisfied with this product. I spent almost $400 on this for nothing. I would like someone to help me on this matter and give me any instructions as to what do I need to do to return the product and have my money back.

I recently heard about a skin care product called a "Galvanic Spa". I looked it up on the internet and found the company Nu Skin. The Galvanic Spa is a handheld unit that you use on your face or body to make skin care product penetrate into the skin more effectively. I am a Licensed Esthetician and I have a professional one that I use in my work. I thought a personal unit was an interesting concept. I sent an email to the company asking them if they sell these units wholesale to estheticians. The response I received (via phone call) was from a Nu Skin "distributor". Nu skin is an MLM company. He started telling me about how I could make a lot of money by marketing Nu Skin and since I am an esthetician, this piqued my interest. He explained to me that in order to get started, I should purchase the "business builder package" for $1400.00.
I was instructed that I would received 3 galvanic spa units and 2 ageLOC sets. The ageLOC set is the skin care product you are supposed to use with the galvanic spa. He also explained that if I worked the business for 30 days and was not satisfied, I could return the package for a 90% refund. I was also instructed to "call in" to a certain number every morning to attend a seminar coming up that Saturday and to be available on Tuesdays to call in to another phone number. Unfortunately, I purchased the business builder package before I examined this business carefully. I was also told to go to another website and purchase 2 manuals for $25.00 each, and was advised to purchase $200.00 worth of product from Nu Skin. I received my package 3 days later.
After I received my package, I had more questions about the sales of these units. As a licensed esthetician, any client of mine that is unsatisfied with a product gets a full refund from me and I in turn get a full refund from the company I purchased my product from. Estheticians deal in what are called "locked lines". Meaning, these skin care products are only sold to estheticians. The esthetician purchases the product wholesale from the company, then adds on a 50% mark up, which is retailed to the customer. My questions to my "up-line" were concerning the refund policy of these units. This woman could not thoroughly explain how a person who had purchased a unit from me could get their money back if they did not like it. She told me that she didn't carry "inventory". I asked her what that meant. She told me that the only time she "carried inventory" was when she purchased "her business builder package". I said to her that being in the business for a year, that she should by now understand the company's refund policy.
However, she could not explain it to me and told me to "just call the company". Major red flags here. The next day, I received a phone call from some man regarding this matter. He could not answer my questions either, but tried to belittle me with phrases like "you're just not meant to be a part of this business" and other demeaning things. "** skippy", I replied. I'm not meant to be part of any organization which uses manipulation as a way of getting people to spend a large sum of money. The charge to my credit card was $1,625.00. The original distributor who called me neglected to tell me about the taxes and surcharges. How convenient for them.
I am now returning this business builder package, unopened, but I will only receive 90% refund. That means that I've lost, without ever having tried this unit or the company's products $162.50. This company tries to get their distributors to market this BBP to people. The up-line says that $1,625.00 is a "low point of entry", meaning that it is cheap to get started in this business. I'm supposed to try to get my family and friends to purchase this same kit. I don't know about other people but with this economy, my friends and family don't have that kind of cash. I was told I needed to create a family (my down-line, the people I try to ripoff).
The original person I spoke with told me there are only 500 distributors, however, I found out there are thousands worldwide. These people are worse than Amway now "Quick Star" since so many people have such a negative reaction to the word Amway. At least, Amway only charged $150.00 to be a distributor. I will never be involved in this kind of thing again. Do people make money doing this? Yes, some do. The ones that are good at sales. These people do well in any area of sales. The people who are not good at sales don't make squat. Just spend, spend, spend, trying to be as good as their up-lines, until in frustration they finally give up. I would like to start a class action law suit against this company and the way they conduct business.
