I didn't know if I had a problem but I had received a phone call that there was a problem. I just couldn't deal with it right then so I called my friends at Tech Support and they took over and made sure everything was OK. I could understand him and he was VERY friendly. He was a great help over and above just his work on the computer. Thank you!!!

UPDATE ON 12/06/2018: As stated before, Brandon was outstanding. He fixed the problem within a matter of minutes. He was professional, knowledgeable, as well as very personable. My printer had the same problem on 12/3 and the tech fixed it. My complaint about the 12/3 incident was that the tech (don't know name) changed my home page. The tech said it would change back when I restarted the computer, but it didn't. It took a long time to get it back to where it was. This never happened before.
ORIGINAL: My printer wouldn't print. I could print a test page, but that was all. I called and Glad took care of setting up the work order. The Tech was efficient and took care of the problem in a very short period of time. Very grateful to US Tech Support for all they do.
Computer speed was slow. Programs took an excessive amount of time to load. Files were slow to access. Needed computer clean up to maximize speed. Infected files were cleaned or removed. Security updates were updated and applied to my computer. Work completed in a fast and professional manner.

The technician was wonderful and professional. When I was using my Google search, I was automatically led to Yahoo, and I never use Yahoo. The technician erased the viruses that were harmful to my computer. I am very happy with the UST product and I will recommend it to friends and colleagues.

When I called to ask why my program was not doing what it was supposed to and I was told that I had the trial version and to do I have had to purchase a more costlier program and I was misled and to cancel my order. It is funny. They take money out right away but do not put it back in just as fast. I had to keep asking on the phone I wanted to cancel it and they tried to convince me to keep the program and get the more expensive but I said five times I wanted to cancel. Beware of this company because they mislead you and one of the reasons is that you want to call and ask why so they can convince you to purchase the more costlier one.
My computer search engine is supposed to be Google Chrome but it started going to MySearch seconds after the Google page came on. So I called USTech and my account had been suspended, my first call to USTech was at 3;30 AM and was told that he could not do anything until I spoke to the business office at 8AM so I waited and talked to the Office then she stated she would release the suspension and he could work on it.

It is nice to talk to someone that speaks English and understand your problem. I did not like talking to people from other countries that could understand what your problem was and could not speak English with out an accent.

Reviewed thoroughly all actions which he used to improve my system and made significant suggestions for future actions regarding identity protection and improved system capability which will be beneficial as technology changes.
Very pleased with the technician who installed and explained the privacy software. Michael ** was very helpful and easy to understand. He went through how to use the software in a very clear manner and removed some unnecessary software that had been installed inadvertently probably by myself.
Mike from US Tech did and outstanding job in explaining the features of this program. We did a little tutorial on the computer that really helped in understanding the product. He also told me how to address follow up question and any related problems that I may be having.
I feel was abandoned after tech started process. It took 3 hours. I have never had to wait this long for a fix. It is now 2:30 am and I have things to do before bed. He said he got tied up on another call for half an hour but he started then stopped for long past that amount of time and did not start again until I contacted him again.
My computer was infected when I opened what I believed to be a safe sender. Instead, I was directed to call a ph. # where someone wanted to "fix" my problem for "X" number of dollars. Been a customer for about 12 years, I call for help on about 10 items a year. I recall only two items where you failed to help. It's a good service, well documented. I rarely recommend it, to avoid arguments "practical" non-believers.
Used this as a last resort to try to revive my old computer that had become unbearably slow. The product did not help, but that is not why I am writing this review. Apparently there are reoccurring charges and I either didn't read the fine print well enough or I forgot about it and was charged $19.95 per month. (My bad!) Apparently there are other bad reviews on this site that say that MyCleanPC did not disclose the reoccurring charges. I replaced the computer over a year ago. I believe that I called several times but received a message saying that I had to call during business hours, which were Eastern time.
I finally got in touch with their customer service today and asked to cancel the service. They outsource their customer service to a call center in the Philippines. The woman I spoke to continually tried to encourage me to keep the service. I told her that I did not want it under any circumstance and to cancel it immediately. She continued to ignore my request and pitched me deal after deal ($5 off, $25 off, etc). I told her I just wanted to cancel the service. She finally relented and gave me a confirmation number. I suspect that I will have additional problems with them as other reviews on here claim that the company continues to bill even after cancellation.
Regular Checkups for My Computer. Every time I have contacted US Tech Support I have ALWAYS received a prompt and courteous response. They answer my questions honestly and I would recommend them to everybody looking for honest, responsive service. I plan to continue to use them.

There were 4 techs who worked on getting MYClean ID activated. Finally, the 4th tech was able to get the activation started. Then I started getting pop-ups saying there was a password that I needed to remove and the pop up kept coming on to the screen so I called USTEch and a tech showed me what I had to do to make it stop.

I had to call back twice because they could not solve the problem. When I attach a Word doc to an email, it shows up in protected mode. I didn't want it to do that, Problem just started about a week ago. But they still could not make it right. It did not seem like a difficult problem.

Two different techs. worked on my computer on 04/30/18 and it is now working worse than before. Very disappointing. I wish they could of helped but now my computer is working slower than ever and is barely functional. This is very frustrating.
We've had this service for years, which we loved, set it up for when you wanted it to do its weekly job and you didn't have to be bothered with it until I tried the service and it wouldn't work. Don't know why it was canceled so we went a year without knowing we didn't even know it. There should be a way of letting a customer know if you've been canceled. So now we will look around for another service like this to switch to that will let us know if something happens, the rep said it had something to do with the credit card. Why didn't someone let us know? We have no protection for a year? Instead you cancel us then charge to reactive.
The technician did as I asked and said the problem was not my computer. I have contacted the server to see what I should do next. Just waiting for their reply. The technician did his part, but problem was not resolved. My team leader said she was able to go in and log in with my gmail account and password on her computer. On my computer it says either gmail or password is invalid. I have gone back to team leader to see what I can work out.
Not currently happy with either product from US Tech support. I NEVER get specific answer from Live support and MYCleanPC never seems to make a difference. I think it is just supposed to make you feel like it is doing something.
Good value and works fast. It runs through all of the program modes in only about three minutes. Then you click on clean and it removes all of the bad and corrupted information and corrects all of the problems with the system.

I had some issues with laptop, there were some virus and trojans and this was preventing several programs on my computer from working correctly. I called the tech support and they took care of going through all the different files and cleaning them out. Although it did take more than an hour, it seems that this has removed the viruses and trojans. I am not sure now if this will now prevent these problems in the future but I hope so. The customer service representative was very helpful and courteous.

This company is not good. They spent 2 hours trying to re-install their service on my PC to then tell me they can't because their security protocol is denied by Norton which tells you they have problems. Asked for a refund, they said no. Buyer beware of this company.
The computers 3 were all acting strangely off of a sudden. I keep my computer in scan quite a bit. But the program I was using wasn't finding anything. They wouldn't print to the printers and the screens were slow to change and respond to the enter key. So MyCleanPC was run on my computers by my tech company US Tech that I always use whenever I have a problem. I know they can fix it. Whatever it is they will find it and remove it. The program MyCleanPC was installed and run. It found many, many problems with my system. It cleaned them up instantly. I trust US Tech and whatever they recommend I take their advice. I know they use the best software to get to the root of the problem. That's what I want. You can't go wrong with this software. I would highly recommend it.

Software issues with my laser printer couldn't scan to computer. Seems every time I require help with software loading the UST techs get things cleaned up & are easy to communicate with by phone or chat line. Quite pleased with the service.

My computer was hung up after a Windows 10 update. While I'm fairly computer literate I don't know all the tricks but your technician did. At first I could not even bring up a screen in order to let the technician have access to my computer. Now this may not have been the most difficult issue any technician has ever had to deal with, it was handled professionally and quickly.

If this is what you used to fix my computer, it is worthless. Four times you tried but never fixed it but never did. The report was a copy of the first time. Like you never did any thing and just used a copy of the first report. Looks like I'll have to find other repair service that knows what they're doing.
Laptop crashes - My laptop is less than state of the art. Any intervention to make corrections/solve problems is welcomed, but usually short-lived. MyCleanPC is effective and a welcomed tool. My laptop is close to the junk heap. I will continue to use the product.

I expressed that I wanted to get a call from the technician before he left. As it was when I returned to the PC the survey form was up but the audible alert regarding a virus attack was still going. I was having trouble with mute setting for my computer. It was muted and I couldn't get any sound. I called about that, but you checked the computer and made some changes to increase the speed of the computer and also found 2 viruses.

The process of activating my software took too long. The tech was not at my computer continuously. The tech was either distracted or working on more than one computer, making all of them take too long. That is all I have to say.

Slow freeze up weird action - Don't know if this has worked. You are asking me to respond immediately after the scan and I have not had a chance to use my computer to browse my news, weather, and sports yet. You need to allow someone to try to use the computer to see if your product really did work.
Without US Tech Support I would have had to replace my PC already. They always come through and it runs great again. The service is reasonable and the people are very friendly and helpful. The technician updated my Early Detection software and removed viruses I didn't know I had. There is no limit as of how many times I call. I truly recommend it to anyone.
I am a new customer and I can say my problem was corrected on the first call. It's good to have tech services within the country. It's peace of mind to think the service I am getting is coming from the U.S.A. I was receiving tech service from a company that wasn't from the U.S. and I had concerns of the security of my computer. I hope to be a customer for years to come.
I have had your service for quite a while and have always been pleased with the service I've received. The Technicians are knowledgeable and courteous and able to explain things so even I can understand them. They've fixed my computer many times. Totally worth the money.
When attempting to run a scan, I received an error. I called the service dept. and they were very prompt in their response. The remote technician entered my PC and diagnosed the problem and cleared and reloaded my scan software.
The technical support of MyCleanPC is or have an assigned technical support team on payroll to resolve all my computer needs, however, there were another tech From Microsoft that tried to repair, replace software and secure additional funds for their involvement to correct this issue. If tech support is retained, why is there outside personnel involved?
They always are helpful and courteous! I would recommend them to anyone that needs computer repairs. I would like to eliminate all that is installed on my computer that Dell has on it but I guess that isn't possible since the computer and printer is a Dell.
I was concerned that, on calling the number displayed, I was told I needed to buy their security program for $249. I called US Tech Support to see if this was legitimate or a scam. You stepped in and restarted the computer -- also, cleaned out the "virus infection" (I hope). My experience with your company goes back several years, and I have found you to be knowledgeable, prompt, and courteous.

Very good. The program My Clean PC cleans my PC better than McAfee or anything else I've tried. The young lady who initially spoke with me was very disappointed that I didn't subscribe to your maintenance program, but I don't need any maintenance program with your program "My Clean PC".

I had trouble installing the MyCleanPC software and turned to tech support. They spent the needed time to figure out what the problem was, and resolve the installation issue. After the diagnosis and installation, the computer is running much better now! The biggest thing was that the tech didn't rush and took the time needed to really solve the problem.
Concerns quickly addressed. Laptop PC failed to start initially. Finally was able to start PC but startup was slow. Received pop-up of a potential Malware infection. Will test computer later today to determine if there are any concerns that may require an additional follow-up session. Thank You!
Service was prompt. I did not have to keep calling back. US Tech has always fixed my problem the first time I call. I don't believe in being long winded, but it doesn't accomplish anything to go on and on about what a good job you did. That is why we pay a monthly fee so you are there when we need you.
No more access by another computer trying to hack my computer. Computer released from hackers hold. Hold released and system checked for internal access. Computer fixed. No further action needed at this time.
I called TomTom to get new maps programmed, and the guy tried tell me I had a bad virus and he would fix it. I said no thanks then called tech support. They fixed it as usual. Thanks ust. They always come thru in fixing it properly, without a great deal of effort. And they always seem to understand what I'm telling them.
Happy with the results. I am a glad customer with US TECH. It was Microsoft who left me a message that I had a virus on my PC, Phone. Being from Microsoft I believed it to be legitimate. Thank you for being there to help me out of the mess that they were trying to put me in.
I love when I call US Tech support and they help me with fixing and keeping my computer in top working order. I called US Tech support and they were able to fix my computer in 3 hours. That is wonderful.
I have had good service with my computer cleaning. I no complaints thus far. The service is awesome to watch on screen by remote control. The technician can answer all my questions while working on my computer. Therefore all questions are answered as well as taken care of to my satisfaction.

You people keep billing my account and I never had MyCleanPC downloaded on my computer. This company is nothing but a rip-off, your company is why I never download anything anymore always trying to rip people off. You cannot trust anyone. Just look on your records or I can get my bank statements.
MyCleanPC will not stop charging my credit card after I have asked them to cancel the subscription repeatedly. Once the year is up, they will send you urgent emails and subscribe. They will plague you with them and you cannot unsubscribe. DO NOT OPEN THE EMAILS, as IF YOU DO they have rigged it to what it makes it appear as you SUBSCRIBING AGAIN for another year. They use that as a document with your credit card to tell them THAT YOU have authorized them to charge your credit card. In reality the credit card will not continue an investigation as it appears to be "falsely" true.
I have tried like many other people to get them to stop making charges to my credit card. By opening one of the many mails to try to unsubscribe is a way for them to "make" you unethically their customer against your will. They will send you an email after you open one of their annoying and insistent mails that says: "thanks for subscribing with us again". Calling them is no good as you get disconnected, transferred to no one or put on hold until you have to hung up because you have to go to work or continue living life. Credit cards need to be aware of their ways of operating and not allowing them to fool them nor their customer who hold credit cards.
Requested a refund several months ago and still getting billed. Purchase coverage for $19.95 each for two computers for one year. They added monthly coverage for $19.95 each month for two computers ($39.90). Have told them for several months to cancel the monthly. Was billed again on my American Express. The billing is in the Philippines. I ordered the annual coverage for myself and Shirley **. They had my Am Ex under Shirley's name and me under Master charge which was not used. I asked to speak to someone in the U.S. and they said they could not do it. Asked to speak to a supervisor and have not heard back.
My computer kept freezing so I purchased the "MyCleanPC" for $19.99. The product was unable to solve my computer problems and I was unable to get someone on the phone to assist me. I had to bring the computer back to the store and have them fix it for me. I also used the Geek Squad (whom I was very pleased with). "MyCleanPC" continued to bill me $19.95 per month and I never even used their service. I called to cancel my acct and receive a refund. At first they told me they would only refund 1 month, then I argued with them. Then they said "okay, we will refund you 2 months". I had to argue again and then they finally said that they would refund the whole amount. My dissatisfaction is with the way they handled the whole thing. Why should I have to continue to argue for a refund on a service that was never provided to me. Also, It is not clear when you sign up with them that there is a monthly fee associated with their lack of service.
First of all no cleaner be it software registry cleaner or magic potion or spell will speed up a computer. Having spent 25 yrs fixing and repairing computers I have seen every kind of con and shell game and software claiming to speed up or repair your computer. People if it sounds too good to be true it probably is and these fake reviews praising this garbage are to laugh. Not real customers except the ones who got taken in by this crapware bloatware malware. To prove a point and be fair I took a brand new and I do mean brand new out of the box computer and ran their "free scan" and it found massive infections and malware and gasp 4 viruses. Pretty damn good for a brand new computer. Steer clear from this junk. Save your money. Take it to a reputable PC tech. Unless you're partial to wasting money on this junk.
I have used it on my laptops for at least 6 years now and I love it... It does everything it says and is so easy my kids use it. I would recommend it to anyone that needs extra performance in their computer.
I usually use to help maximize my browsing speed. Plus it cleans up unnecessary files in my pc. It's actually good coz my dsl connection was kinda compatible with it.
My father, who is paranoid and gullible about alleged threats to his computer and not software-knowledgeable at all, bought this. He ran it with the result showing 1000's of malware items, with a message that he had to call customer service to get them removed. They of course told him it would cost an additional fee, which he told me was something like $150. I believe (if I recall correctly, this happened a few years ago) he paid them ANOTHER fee later, as well. MyCleanPC (ha!) also installed unwanted other programs. My dad, like many people, just clicked through everything on installed, so if there was any way to opt out of these (somehow I doubt it), he didn't see it. His computer now barely functioned. It got extremely hot due to high CPU usage. When it did function, he got all sorts of pop-ups and browser hijacks.
I tried to remove as much of this junk as I could and ran some reliable anti-malware programs from a USB stick. This helped a little; we got at least some functionality back. However, things rapidly went downhill again. Dad has a new computer now, and I've told him don't believe everything some ad tells you about threats to your computer. Use legit anti-malware software. When he wanted to know how to tell it's legit, I said, for one thing, if you Google it, you shouldn't see page after page of bad reviews or customers wanting to know how you can get it off your computer because it screwed you up, which is what you find with this scareware scam piece of crap!

I used MyCleanPC a while ago, and while I don't approve of the method they use to get you to buy their product (their free scan tells you there is something wrong with your computer and you have viruses even if it is literally brand new and can't possibly have a virus) I did like the performance of the program once I used it on my computer that actually did have a virus.
It works great to clean my. I really appreciate the computer. I really appreciate the way it clean the computer. I really like the information, it really clean the stuff that was slow down the way my computer and killed the virus that was slow down the computer. My computer would not load and would crash a lot. The computer was very, very, very slow.
The product was excellent. It was a walk in the park for this old guy's tech knowledge. I can't of better product to clean my PC out. I have used it on my last 4 PCs and come right to use what I know and trust.
A fairly easy means of optimizing and cleaning a PC for those not familiar with computers or electronics. I do not believe the service contains the same advanced features as other computer programs.
When I first read and researched the product I was unsure as it is not a traditional company and to me fairly new. But upon going to the site and deciding to give it a try, what I found out was that the site was easy to navigate and the program easy to use along with the information that is given to me as it was cleaning my system. I will continue to use this program over and over just call me a customer.

It sounded like an excellent product, but I was frustrated, because it did not do what I thought it was supposed to do. I have a program that cleans all my files, registry, and hard drive that was free and works immensely better.
It was easy to use. Very satisfied with it. Good customer service. Did a good job on my computer... I liked how it cleaned my computer. It worked great. Very understandable.

I was skeptical at first, because these types of programs usually seem to be a scam that hurt more than help, but my computer was so sluggish, and I was not able to get it fixed up myself. This is one of the best PC cleaners but the most disappointing part of it is that it contains too much malware. That then can lead to bloatware which may at sometimes contain a virus which may damage the computer which these days can be very expensive.
Ordered it, downloaded and paid for and didn't work. Called up to cancel but the company never bothered then week later tried to charge me for a subscription I won't use so cancelled again!!! Top it off man on phone was mocking my Scottish accent.

It was pretty good. Got rid of all my pesky pic viruses and junk files that I don't have the time to get rid of. Would recommend this to someone that was looking for a cheap, easy way to get their pc cleaned.

MyCleanPC did a great job with fixing my PC. Twenty minutes after I signed up, my PC worked Great! The very next day, my PC shut down and would not turn on. To this day, I have not been able to retrieve content (photos and documents) from my computer. The absolute best part, MyCleanPC has been charging me a recurring $19.99 a month since I signed up. Even better than that, I can't seem to get someone on the phone that will stop charging my card every month. My recommendation to you, don't use MyCleanPC. It's cheaper to burn your computer to the ground and buy a new one.

Tried free version of MyCleanPC.com. Lots of prompts to upgrade to premium version, no discernible benefit. Computer wasn't faster, MyCleanPC didn't do anything Glary Utilities can't do.

MyCleanPC sped my computer up significantly. It removes unneeded files from browser and system caches, cleans up your hard drive and fixes registry errors.
August, 2015, purchased MyCleanPC online. Paid the $19.99, and downloaded to my computer. Had trouble downloading and called the company. Jennie had to give me the Activation Code in order for me to get the program to download. Jenny assured me she would resend the information which contained the activation code. I made 3 more calls inquiring about the email, but never received. Rec'd another $19.95 charge on my account dated late Oct. 2015. Called and Rep said it was a charge for Live Tech Support and I didn't call to cancel after the trial period. First of all, I never received a confirmation email from the initial payment in August. I never agreed to any "Live Tech Support" to begin with.
I was on the phone about this for 45 minutes with "Randy." Randy said she would take all my information so she could close down that part of my account, but she was not authorized to issue a refund on the fraud $19.95 charge in October. She said she would expedite the information to the correct department and they would call me 24 to 72 hours. No call ever called. Had to cancel my credit card to assure no more charges were put through. There is only 1 phone number and an address to contact this company in California. Every time you call, they give you the same run around!

MyCleanPC is great for those who use their computers on a daily basis. This software allows you to keep your computer running well by cleaning it of any malware that can cause damage. This software helps your computer run faster and with less inconsistencies. When I had trouble installing the software I was able to call customer service with ease. They helped me resolve the issue in under ten minutes and did not redirect me to many different people. I use my computer for writing papers and downloading documents so my storage slows down my system greatly. My computer works much better now after using mycleanpc and I am not afraid I will lose any of my documents, photos or music.
My made the mistake of purchasing The PC optimizer and Early Detection. I did the scan as instructed. It found a lot of issues, so I fixed those. Re-scanned and it came up with even more issues. I clicked to fix those and went to bed. The next morning, my laptop was off and the only way I could get it to boot up was in "safe mode." So I uninstalled the crap and had to call 4 times to get it canceled. And they refused to give me a refund. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Using their system was fair. It tells you what needs to be cleaned and takes a while to clean it out, but this is just about every time you use your computer. My biggest issue is their billing department. They cannot get anything straight. I've been billed twice in one month. I contacted them and they did see the problem stated they would reimburse me, never happened. The following month, once again. Same scenario, so this time I asked to cancel my subscription. I continued to be billed for it the following month and contacted them. They told me it shows canceled and couldn't help me any further. Mind you, this is all outsourced to the Philippines. I finally had to open up a fraud expense on my credit card with my bank. What a pain in the...

Paid for the software $19.99, one-year subscription on 8/1/15. Email sent confirming payment, and followed email instructions. Got to activation code on their website but was not supplied on email. I called them. Talked to Ella - she sent me the activation code. I entered code and ran it. After finished (3 hours later), my windows will not launch and I get blue screen. Have tried several times in safe mode, BIOS screens, etc. Called and talked to an Andrew, no help. Talked to Alvene, no help. My son talked to PC tech Jesse and was told they could do nothing. I called them today 8/2/15 and was told the same thing. I want something done - they should pay for everyone's PC systems. This should not be allowed when they have advertised on many radio stations and everywhere, AND THIS IS WHAT WE GET??? WHAT A TERRIBLE THING TO DO TO PEOPLE!!
My dad visited this site and came up with over 7000 errors on his PC. I had installed and maintained that PC, and I'm an experienced PC and server support technician (over 18 years experience in the business). So to test that site, I created a virtual machine, did a clean installation of Windows (I tested with both XP and Windows 7), and ran their free diagnosis tool. In both cases MyCleanPC came up with 7,000 errors. Baloney. Buyer beware.
This company stated that the program they sold me does not work so they wanted to give me a refund. Sounds good except they wanted me to give them access to my computer and then open my bank account. I refused and they will not stop calling me. I blacklist their calls but they change numbers.
I took the bait of a free download. It said I had some thousand issues (I had had my computer "cleaned" and bought Kaspersky protection about two weeks before and had done every internet work since then.) So, I wanted to get rid of MyCleanPC. I searched my program files, but I can't find it. Now, every time I start my computer, it runs its "check," with varying "results," recently in the hundreds even though I have not done any cleaning etc. Also, there is no email contact listed.
I ordered their software, remote accessed my pc and didn't fix anything. Downloaded a bunch of crap that I cannot uninstall. Still can't use my computer, told me there was another issue and so I cancelled my subscription. A month later I'm getting another charge on my cc. This is a scam.
MyCleanPC is now a DIRTY PC. This service not only did not clean/speed up my laptop, but it loaded a virus into my laptop. It made my laptop completely unusable. What a horrible waste of money and time.
MyCleanPC is a piece of junk. The commercials claim that it speeds up your PC, but it doesn't do squat. The program scans invalid registry entries, browser history and temporary files and can de-fragment your HDD. Not only is that pitiful for a PAID optimization program, but also "fixing" them won't speed up your computer. First of all, registry entries. The program scans for empty registry keys in the Windows registry, and if you pay $20, you can delete them. The problem with deleting these keys is if the program incorrectly flags a critical key and deletes it, that can render you computer unbootable or cause fatal errors. You can also do it for FREE in CCleaner, although I wouldn't recommend cleaning out the Windows Registry at all.
Browser history, you can do that for FREE. Just load up your browser, open your history, and clear it. Simple as that. Temporary files? Deleting temporary files could theoretically speed up your computer a little bit, but CCleaner does it FOR FREE and actually does a better job. If you've never cleaned out your system before, CCleaner may be able to find 2 GBs or more of junk. De-fragmenting tool? Do that for free with IObit Disk Defrag, Windows Disk Defragmenter, or Defraggler. Not to mention that these tools will do it much better than MyCleanPC. The website contains testimonials which are obviously staged. Total **. If a company has to resort to FAKE testimonials in order to trick people into buying their products, that's a red flag right there. You won't find any of THESE reviews on their website!
Point is, MyCleanPC is TRASH. Don't buy it, and it won't speed up your system. Many FREE alternatives like CCleaner exist out there which do a better job than the paid version of it. Did I mention that their tech support sucks? The people in the fake testimonials rave about how the tech support is so good, but it's your typical Indian tech support center. They don't know what they are doing.
They bait you with their so called low price scan and fix of about $19 but they tell you that you have a computer that is badly infected. They talk and talk and talk and try to flim flam you will a lot of technical talk that doesn't mean anything (I should know I've worked with computers since the late 1980s and I know flim flam when I hear it). They always suggest that you go to their technicians that will charge you $100 to fix your PC. So they bait you with the low cost ad you see on TV and switch it up to their high cost services.
A lot of times our computers may seem like they are ruined when it's just some silly adware program (etc) and you need to find out where it is to delete it. Sometimes it’s easier to find a fix it program but there are scams like MyCleanPC. I ended up getting just reinstalling windows after saving all my data, then I got a known brand AntiVirus Software and it was fixed like new. Bottom line is stay clear of that MyCleanPC because the only thing they clean is your wallet.
Every Virus software on the market is also blacklisting these guys. It is a bait and hook to start with. You install the software, it gives you some crazy number of issues, and then, you buy it. And then, they want you to call them to get it activated, and next thing you know, they are bait, and hooking you. MORE MONEY!
I try to install MyCleanPC, on my Win 7 but it sits there like nothing happens. Sit there like nothing is there.
