Conversational been very valuable because, right now, I don't have any staff working for me. I'm alone in my office, and I don't like the calls going to voicemail. I needed somebody to pick up the phone when I'm not available, take a message and provide that information to me on a timely basis. Conversational has an app for my phone that's very easy to use, and I get an email to let me know what the message is. If it's somebody that prefers to go to voicemail and leave a message (a lot of vendors are like that), they send it to voicemail and I get an email showing that there's a new voicemail out there. For the minimal services that I need, Conversational is just right. They offer a lot more than that, but they're services I don't utilize.

Conversational answers the phone for us. I consider them to be expensive, but they're cheaper than other places. They're not as good as our old service provider though.

I have been using Conversational since around 2013. I was a very small business with just me and have grown to 23 employees and three locations. I honestly could not have created this growth without Conversational's support. They helped answer calls and make appointments for an affordable price. As I grew I was able to continue to use them to further support our administrative staff. I did make the mistake of using another company once during this period thinking I would save money and immediately regretted it and switched back. Conversational has impeccable support and throughout our growth and changing of policies and procedures they were able to continually accommodate us.

When I got involved with Conversational, it was pretty much already set up in one of our Northern Tier locations that was covering two of our offices in New York and Connecticut. Working with them is like putting a band-aid on a work that should be done in-house but senior management is up to the frame of mind that we should and could make this kind of setup work.
Conversational fields an extremely large amount of calls for us. We have six locations in the northeast, so we went from two locations to having them cover incoming calls for six locations that are really just segmented to sales. So we have calls that come into our offices and if someone is inquiring about sales, it gets routed to Conversational. If they're calling about anything else with respect to our operations, it's handled internally. So they're only handling incoming sales inquiries at this point which are then segmented by what we call a phone tree. And that phone tree could be, "Hey, you got a call, and it's for Connecticut. And you got a call, and it's for Virginia.” They are fielding incoming calls that could go to any six of the states and they're connecting them with a territory manager that's in anyone of those six states.
It can be very complex to take a caller that is coming in for a sales pitch, then discerning where the project is and whom they need to speak with. Not to mention the type of product they're inquiring about. So it's not your run of the mill, typical receptionist type of thing and it's not always 100% smooth. But some of that is customer-driven. Any time we've had little patches in the process, we've gone back, done coaching, and making sure there's an understanding of the phone tree. Even within that phone tree, we've had some turnover and Conversational's ability to adapt and quickly pick up a change has been pretty good. They will institute updates within 48 hours. Our customers also enjoy having the personable pick-ups. They think they're calling a receptionist who's passing them through who they need to speak to and they don't know if they're speaking to someone within our office, which is the key point of what we're trying to gain.
The inception of us taking on this service came during a little bit of a COVID experience, where we had turnover, volatility, and a lot of things going on. This was a way to have a seamless, ongoing, stable environment for incoming calls related to sales. So, if I look at what could be in terms of a more turbulent situation, Conversational has given us that baseline to constantly look refined and give us that stability we were looking for through those challenges. If anyone is looking for someone that has that positive personality and approach to answering the phone and the willingness to help, I would tell them they should look into it and try Conversational.

Conversational is doing pretty well. It gives a very professional first impression to our clients. I like being able to forward my phone to them when I'm trying to do work. It allows me to focus more on getting work done at certain times but still have my clients taken care of. When I have a question, they get back to me in a timely manner.

My experience with Conversational has been fine so far. They do our appointment scheduling and answer our calls when we're closed. It offers us the flexibility to be able to focus on the work and to have assistance with capturing customer calls that we might otherwise miss, being too busy running the business.

Conversational was the best deal. They were the best people and the easiest to work with. We use just the answering service. It’s set up for mainly 7a to 7p. I just set up another of the branches of our company with them. We have other dealers and as they are growing, they’re doing the same amount of revenue as we are in our Dallas office, with half the number of employees. They’re lacking in getting to their calls, and it's just so much for an owner and an operations manager, and some service guys to do. I told them they need to use Conversational. It will capture all of their calls. Then they’re gonna quit missing calls and stop missing leads. Because that's the problem.
I love Conversational. It's fantastic. We don't have a huge volume of calls. There are days when we might get two. There are days when we might get 10. As we're growing, obviously, the volume is more. But even if we're missing those two calls, it's a potential lead. Because in the business that we do, 9 out of 10 times, the customer is coming to us versus us going to them. They're searching out epoxy floors, and then they're calling epoxy floor companies via Google. And we are the number one Google hit, so it's usually us in our area. We had those set to go to our toll-free number, and the calls were not being routed properly through our metric system and with another company that we were using. So we kept the number and forward it to Conversational.
Everyone has been amazing but I talked to Christina the most and she is so quick to reply. She never makes me feel like my questions are an inconvenience. She's always super kind and wonderful. She is always on the money and any time that she's not, someone else is immediately getting back to me. The best part of it is that their customer service is incredible.

They're wonderful. We've used four previous receptionists and Conversational is the best. They bill on the 2nds which is really nice and they're reasonably price. When things go wrong, they fix it. Partnering with them has been very positive. We don't have the phones ringing and they try to screen solicitors out. It has allowed us to be more efficient. I highly recommend them.

We had some problems in the beginning, then they reoccurred again, but they're all fixed. We haven't heard any complaints from our customers. We were gonna switch over to somewhere else, but that's unnecessary. Everything seems to be fine.

They have a low setup fee and it was easy to start out with the speed to start. They answer all of our calls for our sales and marketing-related stuff, giving consumers basic information that they're looking for. Working with them has made things a little bit easier, with the lower burden for our cashiers and receptionists.

We have the basic package where Conversational Receptionists transfer the calls to us. We haven’t had a lot of calls yet, but we have one of the good ones that’s been working with us now. The reps are very good and I like them a lot.

We're a small company and we're quite busy. So we were finding that some calls were getting missed. But with the live receptionist always there, our calls are always getting answered. They're extremely professional. We're really happy with the service. They add huge amounts of value to what we do. It's a great service.

Conversational Receptionists do a better job than other live answering companies. My calls are answered well, which in turn relates to more client retention. So, it's fine. Everybody is friendly and helpful. Sometimes people think they work here, so that's good.

Conversational Receptionists is not necessarily specialized for therapy practices, but it's a good service to see how someone else taking calls impacts your business. It does the job. Having them, I don’t have to do as much call answering. However, when I have to submit a form or change something, it would be nice if that was more standardized.

I was using Ruby when I first started. They were good but really expensive so I started looking for other services and Conversational came up. I started using them and I've been extremely happy. They were about half the cost of what Ruby. I have Conversational for answering phone calls. It has made a huge difference to have the phone picked up every time, regardless of whether I was available or not. We've seen a lot of those phone calls that normally would have been missed sales opportunities. Now, they are actually purchasing. This has a lot to do with the fact that someone live picks up the phone. Even if I can't answer the customers' questions, they are still getting their information answered to a certain degree.
Conversational is usually very responsive and they get back very quickly. They're working on a dashboard at this point. One of the biggest differences between Ruby and Conversational is there is no way for you to check your information with what we have now. Ruby had an app so you could tell the number of hours or how many minutes you've used. You had a call log. If I wanted to know what my greeting is and what my protocol is as far as when the phone is answered, I would have to call or email Conversational to find out. It's the same if I have to make any changes. With Ruby, on the other hand, you could go onto your dashboard and make changes there. When Conversational last talked to me, they said they're working on that feature. I even got an email this last week saying that it's coming in the next week or two. All in all, Conversational has done very well.

Conversational does a great job. People really can't tell that it's not someone at my office answering. They have a more personal touch. They're just a great answering service for healthcare particularly. It’s not like you're calling your phone company. They know how to talk to our patients. They knew our EHR systems very well. We didn't have to train them on that. So, they can do more than just answer the phone, which is what I like about them.
I've also never had an issue with being billed for anything that we actually haven't used. There’s a documentation of everything. I can see the calls, how long they were. They were very transparent in their work. They also respond to emails right away. They're friendly. You can tell they have a team that they train. We've changed stuff on them so many times and they've been like, “Cool, we'll update the team.” They also book and schedule appointments. Everybody is not gonna be able to do that. They fill in the areas when our front desk person calls out. I can really literally forward the calls to them and know that they're gonna handle it.

I love Conversational and I get great feedback from my clients on it. It's like I have a professional service answering the calls. It seems like we consistently have pretty much the same group of staff that answers the phone so it makes the service a little bit more personal.

I like the fact that they can email or text me whenever somebody calls. If I can't take a message, they can get their phone number and text it to me. Those kind of things are very valuable to me. But it was a little bit of a rough start with Conversational because there was a disconnection that was happening. But once they got resolved, it was pretty smooth. They should also call in every six months to ask about ways they can improve or if there are any updates on our phone list.

Conversational Receptionists doesn't generate business for me but it frees my time up. I don't have to have an extra employee just to answer a phone a few times a day. When I talked to them directly, they've always been very helpful. But they don't always get the instructions correct. When people call in and they ask for certain things, they're supposed to be sent to certain places. It doesn’t 100% work like that, but it's good enough and they're trying. I'm happy with them.

Partnering with Conversational allows me not to worry about answering the phone. They take care of that and on top of it, I've gotten great feedback from patients of having a professional individual to speak to initially. They collect information from new patients and show me the emails. I don't really have to speak to anybody to correct anything. So, that's fabulous, getting an email on my cell phone where I can quickly go, research and do what I need.

My business involves a lot of recording general prices over the phone then I would need to look up transportation costs. I spent a ton of time doing that. I've often thought if I felt comfortable having a representative to do that on the phone, that’s something I would pay to have done. Something like that would be worth it. Ruby wasn't quite there but I got the sense that they were closer to being able to do something like that than Conversational. They did a better job than Conversational but they were way too expensive for the difference. But I've always been pleased with Conversational. If I've had an issue or needed to get something resolved, they've done a good job on the customer service end. If I had less people that were answering our calls that got to know the business a little better, I would like that. I’d like to give them more information that they could hand out but I've been a little reticent to do so because I see a lot of turnover in it.

Conversational's pricing was good for what we were looking for. It was half of the price of the initial company we looked at and they've been good. The reps have been consistent, and we've had no issues at all. We've lost some customers before due to not getting an answering machine. Now, we don't miss any people calling. They get to talk to a live person, which is important.

Everybody's been great ever since I've had Conversational Receptionists. I use the virtual assistants service and for what I need it for, everything's great like it is. It's definitely a plus for my business. Especially now since the pandemic hit, people come on and work with me, and they can work from home and be able to receive calls with that office atmosphere feel to it.

I heard about Conversational Receptionists online and I use their virtual reception feature. I have a person that answers the call. It’s doing well but I have a problem when they transfer the call to me. Sometimes, people can’t hear you very well because there’s an echo. Nevertheless, their team is good.

I like how Conversational extends their services a little more than other providers. They’re a little more in-depth with personalizing their customer experience. We got phone answering services from them and that has made it easier for me to save more time to handle my business a little bit better. Thus far, partnering with Conversational has been great for our business. It allows my paralegal to be a paralegal without being a receptionist. However, there's an occasional receptionist there who isn't really cheerful and sometimes doesn't say my name right. It’s hard, but overall, the service is great. I couldn’t really function without it.
