I think we got a business or personal loan from Business Finance Adventure. Interest is way too high - it can be 50%, 20%, 30%, there's no set. There’s nothing sketched in stone. They have to go out and keep looking for more stuff I guess. But at the end of the day, it's what it is and I just have to do what I have to do. But it helped and reps were knowledgeable so I'm still pretty satisfied.

Business Finance Advance called me when I was fishing around for some money several years ago. Our business was primarily builder-based so obviously we went through the economic downturn and I found myself in need of some capital. I got a cash advance from them based on credit card bills and it helped us survive. Without that influx of cash, I might not have survived though the money comes at a high price - there's no question about that. What I needed was time to recover and that bought me time. Also, they fund it very quickly when you need it and they did what they said they were gonna do. In addition, if I was gonna recommend it to somebody, it would be with the caveat that you understand you're paying back a lot of money. And if it's in a situation where that'll benefit you and you feel you can pay it back, then do it. But if that's gonna be onerous for you, then you shouldn't do it.

I had an ACH loan from Business Finance Advance and it has helped my business. I don't like the terms, but banks aren't really loaning to small businesses. I just talked to somebody, I sent them some information and they got back to me and told me when I qualified for it. They were courteous and professional.

About a year ago, I purchased a retail consignment store which was an existing store that had already been in business for more than 18 years, established friends, established shoppers, pretty well known in the community. I have lived here on the island my whole life so it was fine. I started work because my girlfriend owned it so I started volunteering and helping her work the store and then step right into it when her husband passed. We could use some capital to get this going, get advertising, get the public awareness of how the store could benefit in the community.

I was looking for business loan in the internet. A few companies called me and Business Finance Advance got the best offer. They were very clear and responded promptly when I call them. They helped us a lot because we needed money to buy merchandise with a discount. They tried to get the best deals for me that should work out, and we were able to get it. I also like the personalized approach in dealing with me. I started dealing with one person and that person deals with me all the time. She helped me with the paperwork and everything. In other company, they always switch you over to this one, to the other one. I didn't have that experience with them.

I got the funds that I needed but it's kind of a tedious process and it took me a few weeks to secure fund. From the advertisements and what I was given, I thought it says within 24 hours so that was disappointing.

We had a customer that we had to put some stock on his shelf. We bought inventory and allowed us to start the aging stream for that large stock order. It was inventory financing. Well I wouldn't be able to put the parts on the shelf. It would have been a lot longer, more drawn-out affairs because I would have had to work through cash flow. No question it was needed, but it's a pretty steep user fee so it wasn't my first choice but I did what I had to do and it was a necessary evil. I've already made moves to secure some other financing certainly via a different manner, because it's quite an expensive user fee in my estimation. I'm not happy about it, it's pretty extreme. It certainly wouldn't be my choice to do business in this manner all the time. Although, I have nothing but good things to say about the way I was treated. Very professional. There's never been an issue.

In my opinion, Business Finance Advance is a company with a staff who really listens to what you might need financially and then will, quite frankly, bend over backwards to accommodate those needs. The process is painless, fast and straight forward. Our little company has worked with BFA a few times now...and we have always been well-served.
