I took car for 2 tires and oil change. Well they pulled off 3 and around the oil cap they didn’t clean the excess oil off then the alignment. I was told that toe on 1 wheel wouldn’t line up and now my steering wheel seems to be off center. Beware they don’t read work orders very good I guess. Dealership trip this week for me.

When I contacted them they said that there was nothing they could no about it. This still shows up on my credit checks over 2 years later.

I took my 2014 GMC Acadia to them to replace a cv axle on the passenger side. When I went back later on to get it my traction control system didn't work and I got home thinking I could turn it back on that didn't work. The steering wheel was off to the left. The next day I took it back they told me it was a spring in the airbag system. I had to take my car to a Chevy dealership and pay 300.00 for additional work they messed up. By not having traction control I had bad gas mileage. The manager was a big LIAR. Air bag sensors have nothing to do with traction control as he suggested.

Now he turned belligerent, offered to punch out and leave the property and settle this... lol I agreed, he pushed out and we proceeded to walk across the parking lot.. I've use this company for installs because they install through Tire Rack. My wife took her Highlander in for a rotation and they estimated $1600 in additional repairs needed. I took this estimate to my local shop, they checked and non of the repairs were necessary. I took my Tundra in for an alignment, tire rotation and balance. They told me 3 hours. I waited, and after 3 hours returned to find they had not even finished the alignment, let alone the rotation. They said they couldn't adjust a tie rod to complete the alignment. They said their printer was broken and couldn't give me a printout of the alignment data, but still charged me for a incomplete service. The following day I stopped by my local shop for a rotation and balance. Done in 15 min. and they said that neither tie rod had been moved. I will contest this on my credit card since they did not complete the service. I will never return. I recommend a different vendor for servicing.

A couple of months ago I had 2 flat tires on consecutive days and I got them fixed at Tires Plus at University Avenue west des Moines iowa. I took it to them because I assumed they are tire people. My vehicle had no issues with alignment or tire pulling to one side before the flats. After flats were fixed and installed vehicle started pulling to one side terribly. I took it back to them and they said the alignment is off and would cost over $100. For a second opinion I showed it to Meineke at Weston Parkway west des Moines iowa, they did tire rotation based on wear and the issue fixed. How unknowledgeable the staff at Tires plus are. I'll never again go to them for anything.

Mind you I have pic before they took it in. Anyhow the guy that did the alignment said it was like that. Stripped my bolts that cost me $35 for two. They call the cops on me and have me removed. I call high above to complain. The manager calls me ask me to come in as I do show him all my proofs. he gives me back my 105.00 back but won't pay for any parts that was repaid for. It is 2021 isn’t it?! Tires Plus is a complete joke! They literally have tires in the name, but they only sell new tires not service or repair them. Tires Plus can’t even plug a tire, which any gas station garage can do. The worst customer service, left me sitting for 80 minutes when I had called the day before & scheduled an appointment, then finally decided to look at the punctured tire I came to have repaired and spoke to them about in detail the previous day, then saying they aren’t skilled enough to repair the tire but recommended a 1-man gas station garage on the corner. So the gas station fixed my tire in 5 minutes, but Tires Plus achieved nothing in 1hr 20min?!
If Tires Plus is only qualified to do only the most basic tire repair and can’t keep close to their schedule, maybe it’d be a good idea to quickly check the vehicle you claim to be qualified to repair first before leaving a potential customer sitting there for absolutely no reason at all. I was treated as though I should be grateful I wasn’t charged, even though Tires Plus did nothing more than waste my time & embarrass themselves by not being equipped to repair the very same product they use in their name. Perhaps it should be called ‘Only New Tires Plus’ or ‘Sit & Wait Needlessly’. TIRES PLUS IS A JOKE, JUST GO TO PEP BOYS WHERE TRAINED TECHNICIANS ACTUALLY WORK!!!!

Had a tune-up done on my Hyundai Tucson at my local Tires Plus in East Lake FL. It's 18 months later and my Tuscon is idling rough and having acceleration problems. A local mechanic who I trust has informed me that the tune-up was not performed properly. Wires were left exposed and now my engine coils need to be replaced! $500 for the tune-up and now $800 to fix the damage caused by their shoddy workmanship. But wait .. there's more!
I bought new tires from the store several months after my tune-up. Then I needed to have the ball joints replaced and the tires are now trash! Couldn't they have diagnosed a potential problem with the ball joints BEFORE they put the new tires on? Wouldn't the wear on my old tires have been a red flag?! So now I need a new set of tires too. This store has cost me SO MUCH money. It goes without saying I will never take my car to Tires Plus again. But it remains to be seen whether anyone will take responsibility. I've contacted the company. We'll see how it all plays out but I'm not holding my breath.

After discovering a flat on my vehicle, my brother used a portable pump to air it up and drove it to the nearest Tires Plus because it was less than a mile away. They later refused to remove the spare from under the vehicle with the excuse of it being "a liability" and quoted a price of $850 for four new tires (about half the vehicle's worth), citing that I could open a credit card with them to pay for the expense. My brother returned the following day, removed the spare himself, and asked them to replace the damaged tire with it. Later that day, he was notified that the spare was also leaking air. He then made arrangements to have the vehicle towed to a local shop where the replacement cost was half that quoted by Tires Plus.
When the tow truck driver arrive to pick up the vehicle the following day, he was told there was a $24.99 labor charge to be settled. For what? They did nothing but refuse service, quote an outrageous sum and attempt to sell a credit card to pay for it! At this point, I have been without my vehicle for four days because of one flat tire and getting the run-around from Tires Plus! Never Again.

For 3 years I visited the Tires Plus in Buford, Ga off Sardis Church Rd. I started questioning the service and honesty after having brakes replaced multiple times. Each time they told me something else was wrong. So I had rotors replaced, brakes were still bad. Went back they said now I needed new calipers, brakes were still bad. Went back again, they said one of the calipers was faulty and needed replacing. My brakes were still now working properly but at this point I had given up assuming it was just old car.
Once I started having tire and brakes problem not long after this I went to another shop. I also began looking up my tires plus history to share with the new mechanics. They showed me that not all the calipers were changed (despite me telling tires plus repeatedly that my brakes were not working). And that everything needed to be replaced again. They took me to the back to show me.
As I looked at my service history not only did feel I was scammed on work done on my car, but I had purchased a total of 8 tires in 2 to 3 year span (with road hazard) and was now on tires again 9 and 10. Not only is that a ridiculous short time needing tires but they never once gave me free or discount for the road hazard. I have contacted their corporate office. I received one email saying someone would be in touch with me. I have yet to hear back from them. I will say the manager at the location eventually offered to repay the calipers but since the job was not done fully and properly as well as the tire situation I didn't feel this was fair.

I already paid 371.70. I had to paid additional $100.00. If the order was placed online everything should have been prepared before I arrived. I have been going to Tires Plus for years. I have been a mechanic for 46 years. My U-joints need to replaced. Brought it in and first thing they did is road test. Put in on a lift and said nothing's wrong. Never tested the u joints. The mechanic said they were all tight. That's great. I already knew that. They are binding. I asked if the shaft was removed to see if the play was ok. They said no, and again said it was tight. Tried to tell me that it's ok up to 40mph. I told them that the problem was between 65 and 80. They ignored that. In Summary: I asked them to change the u joints. Not diagnose what I already knew was bad. They drove it and said nothing's wrong. They refused to pull the shaft and test the joints. They refuse to believe that a customer may in fact know what they are talking about. I will never return to Tires Plus.

I went for the first time out of Lexus dealer to do an oil change service to my Lexus GX460 to the store located at 15907 Pines Blvd. Pembroke Pines, Fl 34027 and under manager **. I told him to check all over my car since I need the car in great performance to do my job. He said he was going to check everything and let me know what it need to be done. After an hour he called me back and surprise me with a necessary change of Pads, rotor, struck, flushing of the coolant, air filter, oil filter, alignment for life, oil change and rotation all that for $2217 dollars. I had already spend $1000 on tires with them so I asked why so much if I was always taking my car for service and checked with Lexus when it was time for service and I just need oil change.
I took my car there because they supposed to be good and cheaper than Lexus (WRONG I PAID MORE TO THEM THAN WHAT I SPENT IN LEXUS FIXING THEIR MESS) and due to Covid 19, no job I couldn’t afford it to take to Lexus again, so then he explain that it was best to have the car in perfect condition and those changes needed to be done. So I used a credit card from them and did the job. WHAT A TERRIBLE MISTAKE!!!! They ruined my car completely, they left my car with oil spilling, burning always, smoking while driving, went back the very next day after been in the workshop for 5 days work due to oil spill and horrible noise while driving, they never drove my car after completing the job otherwise that terrible noise was noticeable once you start driving, it was just unbearable.
My car was picked by my mother and from the store to my house she didn’t notice the noise, but I did next day once I start driving and it was even worse. They left piece of iron friction and that was the noise, the cover they put for oil was not the appropriate one for my car type and that is why oil was spilling, breaks were very long, since they use very low quality replacements pieces, even changing the air filter they spoil a piece in the system because it sound and still does a terrible eco and turbine noise if I use maximum flow of air, all this I told the manager and for all he has an answer of course the one that is good for them not for me.
I went back three times regarding the oil change and the third it was the worse. I was stopped at the back of his store and the oil drain out completely to the floor, I immediately call the manager ** and he took my car and sent one of his worker to Lexus to bring the original cover for the oil. Once they finish they call me and I realize Once they open the front part the coolant wasn’t till the limited to be fill, All cover were without the taps... ALL A MESS. I got into a crash since the change on pads they did were low quality pads, breaks didn’t work and run out very fast.
Finally I went back to Lexus and have rotors and pads change again, that is the reason I got into a crash because of the low quality of pads and rotors put in to my car, I couldn’t break since rotors were run down. I went again back and explain what had happened and he asked why I change with Lexus and not with them? What a funny question after they mess up all my car they pretend me to go back. I went back for my money back since everything was done wrongly, very, very bad and this guy just deduct from the account what I paid in Lexus and left me square. He left me with all the debt for a very bad performed work, took the pieces I Change with Lexus from my car without authorization and now I am Asking him to give me the pieces back and he doesn’t want to give to me, pieces that I double paid And belong to me.
I am demanding my money back and they refused and I had a call from the area manager && and he was just shouting at me and not letting me talk. Asking me mechanical questions I direct him to talk to the person in Lexus that did my job and of course they did not want to talk to an expert about their mess. So if you do not want your car ruined do not take it to Tires Plus in pines blvd. They just ripped you off and pretend you to go back to them to refix and still fix back again their mess. I want my money back.

But with my permission they did match the tires that tires plus put on. Unfortunately it did not stop the vibrating. I took the car back to tires plus they balanced the tires again for what I don't know and they stated one of the weights had come off the front so they retighten those as well. I was told when they test drove they didn't feel any vibrating and if I did then bring back. Well of course get up to speed of 60 and back to vibration.
I took the car back. They inspected and now they are saying its the struts. My question how does struts go once you put on tires? There was nothing wrong with the car when I brought in. With many brands and options available to consumers these days one thing remains true- provide great service and they'll come back. I however will never come back to Tires Plus. I needed a patch for a slow leak on a front tire. This location is so close to my home I could walk back home after dropping off my car. All I needed was a patch, I was told I needed a brand new tire because the sidewall was destroyed and the tire wouldn't hold air and couldn't be placed back on my rim. This is a slow leak, so slow in fact that when I noticed the tire was low and used my air compressor to inflate the tire BEFORE driving that the next day there was still air in the tire.
Also the damaged sidewall had a 7 inch gash- this would make it impossible to drive as the tire would not be able to hold air and I would be riding on the rim creating damage to the rim. There's no damage on my rim. It gets worse- the tire in question I was told a Continental ContiProContact was discontinued. The ONLY option available is a PURECONTACT LS (Which they had on hand) and neither the local warehouse nor Tirerack.com had a replacement tire. Yet the tires were in stock that day on Tirerack.com and I took a screenshot along with a picture of my damaged tire at the shop and sent it to a regional person with Tires Plus. Going to the website for Continental, shows almost 50 locations near my zip code that have that tire in stock and the correct size for my car. Which makes it more interesting since apparently the manufacturer still produces this tire.
Wait- there's more I called another local Tires Plus store to see if they had the tire I needed and the manager told me he could get one in a day. So I was lied to about being able to get the right tire, forced to get a tire that I didn't need for my car and the tire which needed a patch destroyed at the store. Today is 7/24/20 and I've heard nothing from Tires Plus- I called their customer service line only to find out the file is closed as resolved. Would you ever do business with this company?

Shocks and Struts (04/01/2020.) They broke out the center cap to one of my wheels (again), had prior work done (2019) when they broke it the first time and glued it back on, was told they would replace it due to glueing again won't hold. They can't find the same cap and refuse to buy/replace all four. Had to call the corporate office to get them to do the right thing. It's been months since they broke it out. Was told they would get them in a couple of days, still nothing. It's now 06/24/2020. We needed the head gaskets replaced (12/14/2019), they only replaced one. Anyone with a brain knows they BOTH need to be done at the same time. Charged us nearly 2 grand for one head. Thought for that amount both were being done. Wrong!
My car went in the shop with A/C working, came out not working. When asked about the A/C not working they said they bypassed the heater core that it was leaking, it would be approx. 1,000 to fix. This all happened while the one head was done. Not a mechanic but a heater core has nothing to do with the A/C. Why didn't they just tell us to bring it back so they could check into it. No, just suck us of what little money we have. Which tells me they were going to rip us off.
Took my car to a "real" mechanic, was told that the wires to the compressor were cut/broken which caused the fuse to blow. That "real" mechanic fixed the wires, replaced the fuse and charged the system for approx. $70.00. (Not 1000.00.) I understand we still have no heat but we live in Hotter than Blue Blazes Florida where the heat index get to triple digits. No need for heat. My husband and I both got credit cards from them. We paid them off within the six month promo so they got no interest from us. Needless to say, I will be cutting up two Tires Plus credit cards. I wouldn't refer my biggest nightmare to them.

When we arrived and went to the front desk they told me it would be over 115.00, I said but the man I spoke with last night said 80.00 plus tax. He lied and said he said between 20 and 25.00, they said this was the charge and he said I would need an alignment, I refused the alignment, trying to pad the bill in my opinion, because my tires were already there and there was no way my husband and myself could have put them in our vehicle, I felt there was no other choice but to have them put them on. We were told it would be an hour or so.
It was twice as long and when they were done, I asked where they put my lug nut key, he rudely said it's in the back, I asked again where in the back, he rudely said in the back of the vehicle, i again asked where because it is a big back area filled with lots of stuff and did not want to lose it. Finally he asked the mechanic and he said he put it in the glove compartment, I felt scared at this point and just wanted to leave. They pulled our vehicle out of the garage area and said it's ready. They would not pull it in the front, so we were told to walk through the dirty oil everywhere back area, the mechanic was nice and tried to move some debris on the ground so my husband could maneuver his walker to our vehicle, it was slippery and very dangerous, and I thought it was not allowed?? When we arrived home, 2 of the valve stem covers were loose. Furious of how we were lied to and treated. We are seniors and did not deserve to be treated this way!!!

I took my car to the Tires Plus Store At 3510 Northdale Blvd NW, in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, where I had purchased a battery that would not maintain a charge. It was well within the "Free Replacement" warranty range. I had tried to charge it several times, and a few days later, it would not start, or even make the solenoid click. I would have to use a boost to get it started. The store put their tester on it and said that the battery was fine. I told them about having to charge it and that it wouldn't hold a charge. The manager said they could do further research on the car, to find the problem, but that I would have to pay for it.
An hour later, they told me that they couldn't fix the problem, but that my car had excessive current drain, when it was sitting idle. I asked to speak directly with their tech who worked on the car, and asked him how much idle current was he talking about, and he said that his meter showed 186 milli-amps (This being the quiescent, or at-rest current, when the car is turned off). They didn't know that I had a degree in Electronic Technology, and that I had taught electronics at a Technical College for 9 years. I told them that 186 milli-amps was very small, and actually the power consumed was 2.34 Watts (12.6v x 0.186a); less than half of what a night light would draw, and certainly did not account for the battery being drained 24 hours after a full charge.
Obviously, their people could read a meter, but had no idea what it really meant, or what they were talking about. Though I didn't say so. The manager became miffed and said there was nothing further that they could do, and billed me $150. That was more that the original battery would have cost, and they had not fixed the problem!!! The idle voltage on the battery was below 12.6 volt after charging for 15 minutes (alternator tested good), thus I suspect a sulphated cell inside the battery. But the manager would not honor the warranty. So, for $150 I got neither a new battery nor a solution for the problem, if there was any. Because of the callous and non-caring treatment by this store, I will not be patronizing this, or any other Tires Plus store in the future. This is a true experience with all the facts.

I am a buyer who like to shop around for prices and per their policy you can bring the advertisement and they will price match it. I went back and forth with the guys as I saw that same tire cheaper online and other places, that really got the guys, they're upset. Which they shouldn’t be upset for as those tires were really expensive and I as a customer had a right to look around for a better price. Anyways they ordered the tire for me and kept the car overnight. The next day when I picked up the car I smelled a weird odor almost like urine. I then went to a odor company and they checked the car, smelled it and gave me a report that yes I that was urine. Mind you my car was at their garage overnight so they could do whatever they want with it, may be bring it out to party in it.
There is no way I would know that right! But now that I filed a claim with them instead of taking a responsibility they completely denied it. Tires Plus is a great alternative to the dealership in terms of pricing. They do 1-year warranty with unlimited free visits instead of paying per wheel alignment service by dealerships. What's frustrating is customers are required to wait longer than they should just to get served and that's in every branch within Jacksonville. Very frustrating and very disappointing. Tires Plus, at times, being more frustrated on the wait time than waiting for the JTA bus line for an hour or waiting for the dealership. The pros of service from dealerships is they only are obligated to serve cars that gets purchased from them whereas Tires Plus serves every brand of car. Another pro is dealership have half hour blocks for scheduling whereas Tires Plus only has hourly blocks for service. Tires Plus are worse than dealerships for scheduling wheel alignments on a last minute thing without proper evidence something's wrong with the car itself.

I took my rim/tire in to get the tire replaced due to pothole damage to the tire. This was on a Sunday so they couldn't do anything until Monday. They told me the price of the tire was $235. There was a 3 day delay which was my fault in not following the road hazard warranty process. After that, I picked up the rim/tire and they had 3 new scratches in my 8 day old rim (now Sat, 6 days later)! They didn't even argue with me about the scratches and said they'd replace the rim. I gave them the receipt from Tire Rack and waited 5 days.
Now, it's been 11 days. I stopped by and they told me they sent the rim to Wheel Tech in Omaha to get refinished. I had no problem with that and they told me it would be done by the end of the week. 3 days later (Friday, 12 days into this process), they said it was on a truck getting sent to Tires Plus and they would locate it and call me back. Nothing. I was upset and gave them a few more days.
Tues, I called them and they said that Wheel Tech LOST it (now 16 days)! They were going to buy a new rim from TireRack and bill Wheel Tech. Saturday (now 20 days), I went to Tires Plus. They had the original rim/tire back with a new rim in a box that I could have for free (what will I do with that???). I got the rim/tire home to install it and found that the original rim was still scratched and the tire pressure was at 24psi. The right thing to do was at LEAST put the new tire on the new rim! I just don't want anything to do with that place anymore. I know... I should go back and have them make it right but I really don't want anything to do with them. STAY AWAY!!!

I had and oil change and inspection done late Saturday 4/6/19. (It included a tire rotation and a test drive by the tech to check on a brake issue I'd noticed.) I picked up the car just before closing time and drove the roughly 4 blocks home, parked the car in the garage until Monday morning, 4/8/19. At that time I went to take my dogs for a ride and walk. I made it at most another 4 blocks at which time I noticed a loud noise that I thought was construction noise (thought it was a power saw, etc!), continued about another 6 blocks by which time I figured out the loud noise was coming from my car, when I pulled over I saw metal hanging down underneath my car (it was scraping the ground as I was driving).
I drove directly back to Tires Plus and spoke to the interim manager who proceeded to tell me that since it was a fresh scrape it obviously just happened (remember it was scraping the road as I was driving so of course the scrapes were "fresh" plus they just worked on the car on Saturday). He said that if I didn't do it someone else in the household obviously did it. Well it's just me and my husband and we were together all day Sunday, so no. My lesson from this is don't go to Tires Plus ever again, if someone test drives your car - go with them to observe and lastly, watch while techs do any repairs on the car.

On this occasion 12/27/2018, my daughter took it in and they said the battery was fine, she insisted it was not and they I'll willingly changed it out and put a note in my file saying it was no longer to be exchanged. This morning 12/28/2018 the car again didn't start on the first try, so I took it to a very reputable known European car repair shop. They came back and said it's without a doubt the battery and gave me the before and after printouts. They also said it was the wrong battery for my car. I called Hyundai after the fact, & the part there was $79. This isn’t the first time they’ve price gauged parts. They did that with my daughter car. They quoted her $3000 to fix the axle, brake sensor, strut & a tire replacement on the front passenger. I’m not sure where they get their parts from but they are definitely overcharging for parts!

Stay away from Tires Plus in Camp Hill! Earlier this year, I was in the market for a new mechanic, so I tried them out for my inspection after they helped my husband with a flat tire in a snow storm. They told me I needed work that would total around $3300 to fix. I wanted a second opinion, so I took my car to another shop in Harrisburg. They said while I did need some work, their quote was around $2000, so I went with them.
On 11/19/18, the battery died in my SUV. My husband was half a block from Tires Plus in Camp Hill, PA, so when we had trouble jumping it the next morning, we called them for help - and they did have someone walk over to help us. We drove it there and got a quote for a battery and they offered to test the system to see if that was the only problem. They called me at work a few hours later telling me I needed an alternator and it would be an extra $430. I didn't authorize the work, aside from the battery, and later that night I dropped it off at the other garage I usually go to after calling them to explain the situation.
This morning, the second garage called me to tell me my car was running fine - no alternator needed. And they replaced some bolts that were stripped near the battery that hadn't been the last time they looked at the car. They also reset the oil change light they had missed when it had been in for an oil change. I am very glad that both times I've gotten a second opinion, because I could have been out of A LOT of money.

First they claim the inventory was off, then they went looking at another location, told her they was on the way, still no tires. The store manager was the one working on her car and he screwed this thing all up. So her one and only day off from work was there waiting for nothing. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will tell everyone I know not to go there. This location is in Gaithersburg MD and the manager name is Lewis.

I think it is $10,000 in small claims court here in PA. This is the last car my husband bought me. He is in a nursing home with dementia in Iowa and I could never tell him. He is dying. Product was of good quality. Service was substandard at best. I bought 4 new tires and had them rotated one year ago. I recently had a flat and removed it for repair. One of the lugs were crossthreaded. As a result, the lug broke off. My car was left with only 4 on that tire/wheel. Was willing to accept that and chalk it up to bad luck. I had decided to rotate tires in the process. In doing so, multiple lugs were broken off on more than one wheel which for safety purposes left me with a repair bill that left me without enough money to return home. I was on a road trip and over 500 miles away from home. There weren't any Tires Plus locations within 100 miles from my location. I called customer service and to make a long story short I was told I would be stranded for 48 hours while they made a decision whether to assist me or not. They were the only ones to touch my wheels and tires since tires were bought new.
Clearly at fault, they left me stranded with minor children in the heat with heat index in excess of 103. Beyond the fact that they were directly responsible for break down, they showed complete disregard for the safety of the customer and their family. This is a company that clearly does not care or should not be in business when people's lives are on the line. I will never use them again and will be filing a lawsuit for repair cost and endangerment of minor children by refusal to help get a long term customer and their children back on the road in dangerous heat with warnings in place at time. I recommend staying far away from such companies.

Politely told him I would have my own mechanic check it. Week or so later my own mechanic (I have used the same shop for 20 years) was doing some unrelated work on my truck. Without telling him about my experience at Tires Plus I told him to check for a power steering leak. He said it was a loose hose clamp and tightened it. (No charge.) I should have gotten a second opinion before telling them to do the work. They did the work, within two weeks of putting on the new breaks they started grinding. Took the car back and now they tell me within weeks after new brake installation that I need calipers. The calipers were sticking. Ask them, "Why didn’t you tell me this before," they said they wouldn't necessarily know they were bad if they were not looking for it. Found out later they were lying through their teeth. Calipers were right in their face once you drop the tire.
Who in the world does a brake job and not inspect the calipers as well? I took my car and got two second opinions & they both said I did not need calipers. The problem was the new pads were rubbing against the rotors & that was causing the noise. They put tires on with no alignment recommendation. Didn't know I was suppose to have one. These people are big liars; you can’t trust anything that come out of their mouth. They recommend work that didn't need to be done, they half do the work that they do, they will misdiagnose your car to get the big money, they will lie about what needs to be done, they do not do quality work. On Dec. 7th, as I was leaving work, my dashboard on my Mercedes said that there was "0" air in my front left tire... I told him what had happened and he had told me that there are no stalls available... there were cars in each one of them and he wouldn't be able to put my car in to check to see what was wrong...
So, I called Mercedes towing service. The woman on the phone said she would send a tow truck and have him fill my tire so I could get it checked in the morning. I had explained to her that I could not get air in my tire and needed to purchase another one, if that was the case. She insisted that it could be done but wanted my card #... to charge the fee. I told her I got free towing but she wouldn't send the towing co until I paid... Well, lo and behold, the man came and verified as I had stated that I could not have air... I needed a tire if that was the problem.
Well, at that time, came out and asked what I was going to do because it was time to close. The tow driver said he could tow me to Mercedes but the gates are all locked and I would have to leave my car outside of the dealership until morning when they opened... I didn't want to do that. So, Will suggested that I could leave it there and then see what I wanted to do in the morning. I told him I didn't live in Hillsborough but in Pinellas and needed to find someone to come up there and pick me up and bring me home. He waited till I found a ride which takes approx. 30-45 minutes to come.
I told him I found someone and they will be coming soon and for him to leave me outside the front door and he could lock up and go home... It was getting late and he was closed already but he stated that he could not go home and go to sleep knowing that he left me outside the office doors in that area. He was going to stay with me inside until my ride came and picked me up... He was wonderful. I couldn't believe that in this day and age, someone would do that. It wasn't till 7:45 pm, till my ride came. I told him to please check the price of a new tire for me and I would check with Mercedes as well. He assured me that he would and not to worry about a thing. The car was ok and inside.
The next day, the manager was there when I called and I asked him when he could get a tire for me and he said that he would order it right then and there if I wanted him to... It was set... I was very grateful for Will to work with me and the manager. They called me when my car had its new tire, and one of the associates from my company drove me there to pick up my car. THANK YOU FOR HIRING A VERY THOUGHTFUL GENTLEMAN!! It's so worry-free to know that there are still considerate and caring people in this world, and I thank you for hiring them... It makes a world of difference when someone is so concerned and is there to help. Thank you Will!! You were amazing!

The work included was the replacement of a timing belt, and water pump. The work was performed at your store location, with the address of 1376 SW Saint Lucie West Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34986-2109.
A little more than 3 years later, on September 7, 2017, less than 50,000 miles later, the timing belt went out on this vehicle again! Upon closer examination, our new mechanic confirmed to us that the timing belt had never been replaced. He confirmed with us that these were all original parts!! Needless to say, we were infuriated... Feeling that we had been "ripped off"! We were charged for work that never took place!! Timing belts, on this particular model, typically should last 80 to 100,000 miles. This wasn't the case, because it was the original timing belt. We submitted video of the belt but they declined the claim. About every part they changed to the car felt apart before the time. I want to clarify that when we took the car for the first time to Tires Plus in 2012, the car has less than 20K miles. This car was and still is in a great shape.

The manager here has a very bad and cocky attitude towards most anyone that attempts to explain their issues even politely, especially after I have already paid for the issue to be fixed and still it is not fixed. He tries pushing the blame onto anything else that he can to avoid admitting his ignorance, not at all cool or acceptable. Another issue is I had warranty work done on my car, warranty co. is paying the bill except my deductible, which I paid immediately. Yet my car was still not released back to me 'until the warranty co. paid', what? I had to go and rent a car after mine was completely finished because of this.
Now what if the warranty co. mails the payment to the repair shop? Then I must wait approx. 10 days to get my car back, yep. Again, not at all cool. This manager is by far a cocky and unprofessional person that needs to go and take some classes on how to professionally treat people, very sad but very true. I am pleased to say I am dealing with a different location now 'because the workers/Teams' are great there as well as elsewhere but not this manager guy in Spring Hill location, no more and no thanks. We will also be spreading the word throughout this area, let's see how long it takes for this company to realize this manager must go?

Store #244307 St Joseph, MO: Made an appointment on 11/4/2017 for the following day to have brakes checked due to squeakiness. Steve gave me an estimate with current promotion discount and also a special on complete vehicle inspection. Upon the inspection results, Steve said my front brake pads were good as new however my back pads were still good but worn a bit. Said probably could wait till next spring. It was so refreshing to have such an honest opinion that I could have walked away with a mere $9.99 inspection. However since I had done some other winterizing and am responsible for transporting children daily asked that the back pads be replaced. Before replacing the pads was given exact amount of cost. Steve was so very friendly, polite and upfront about the repairs. I would highly recommend this establishment and will certainly be a returning customer. Customer service does matter. Thank you.

For several years I have visited the same Tires Plus with no issues. However, on this particular day, unfortunately the management had changed and the service was awful. I needed to get a tire repaired and they could not find my tire key lock. Being they were the only ones that service my tires I knew they had lost it on a previous visit and this is what I told the manager Jason. He said he would check the last service I had which was a left tire repair. Jason said, "I will check to see if the left tire we repaired is still in place." Instead he came back with a receipt from my glove compartment which meant he had to sample through my glove box without my permission. The receipt had an oil change on it and tire rotation. But I didn't remember having a rotation and there was no charge. But Jason said I should go to my dealership because they lost the tire key.
So I get in my car and call the dealership and head that way. When I called they reminded me that they did not rotate the tires because of the low mileage on the car. Then I remembered so I called Jason back and let him know there was no tire rotation and I asked him did he check the left tire to see it had not been moved and he said yes. I was baffled by this. He knew there was no rotation because the tire they fixed was still in place but he sent me to the dealer anyway. He then told me to turn around and come back because my dealer should not have put tire rotation on the receipt if they didn't do it. He said he would break the tire lock and fix the tire, which wouldn't help me because I still have 3 tires I can't change if anything happens but I take the car back anyway.
They take the car and 30 mins later they come back and say they can't fix the tire and have to order a part. So I have spent 3 and a half hours and my tire is still not repaired. At this point I tell them to put air in the tire and I have to go to work. So I call the corporate office to make a complaint. They said area manager would call in 48 hours. Didn't hear back. Called in to follow up and they said the store manager Jason said he offered to replace parts and I opted to go to dealer. Untrue. So they escalated to regional manager with another 48 hour turn around. Still no response.

The sensor head was broke. Carl saw it. Didn't say anything. So I took it somewhere else and they find the problem. "So we're not touching it. It came to us this way." So I called Tires Plus back. They said no problem so they put my vehicle back together and on my way there discovered a crack in information panel on dashboard. I called them immediately and advised this crack wasn't there when I brought vehicle in. So After getting tire repaired, I went back to show Blake and he responded, "It's definitely a crack. Here's my story: I went to Tire Plus for a simple "tire balance" but apparently according to the manager and his "years of experience" I had to buy new tires in order for them to even fix the one that needs a balance. I went there asking for a specific service on a specific tire, nothing more. I don't understand how hard is to just get my order, do the simple job, get my payment and off I go. But noooo no no Sir "We can't just fix your ONE unbalanced tire. Your other 3 tires aren't good," that's basically what the manager told me very rudely and quickly boiling.
Let me put it like this: Is like you go to the barber shop asking for a cut to make you look good but the barber quickly deny service because first you need a nose job, cheek's implants and Botox. Avoid at all cost. This place is definitely operating on a upsell type of business. They just want to find everything that's wrong and sell you their stuff. So I still left with my "bad tires." I have been taking my cars to the East Lake Tires Plus for all my tire purchases and auto repairs since I moved to this area in 2012. I own two "older" cars, a 2001 Toyota Sienna van and a 2004 Honda Accord. Have always received excellent customer service and great deals. I recently had a problem with my Honda's steering, which ended up needing a major repair. The initial repair did not fix the problem. Long story short, after several return trips to the shop, my car is doing great. These return trips required troubleshooting as well as other parts which needed to be replaced.
Instead of giving up or placing blame on me... they persevered until the problem was fixed. I was not charged another penny after the initial repair. Steve and Coach are always accommodating, friendly, and professional. In the world that we live in today, I truly appreciate the way in which they run the business. My rating is really less than one star. My teenage daughter hit another curb and damaged another tire! She took the car to the Tires Plus Palm Harbor location for a new tire as we have done in the past. Dale, the service advisor, called me to say she also bent the front right strut and the left control arm. All repairs combined would be $1150. I told him to hold off. I wanted to check with her dad.
We decided to get a 2nd opinion from our neighborhood independent garage. They quoted me $890 on the phone so I said I would bring it to him. When I called Dale back at Tires Plus he said he already put new tire on. I said, "I didn't give approval so take it off," and we went to get the car. He charged $22 for inspecting the vehicle. After inspection by my local garage they found no damage at all. Only $200 for new tire and alignment.
I do believe what they are doing is illegal. I can't prove it because I didn't get the quote in writing. It is also highly unethical and immoral. It created a huge fight between my daughter and I during an already tough time for us. And I almost lost more money thinking about canceling her next out-of-town sport competition. I was informed my vehicle was complete at approximately 6:50 (18 minutes later). I questioned the desk guy, that this was the quickest oil change I have ever experienced & he then informed me that all was complete, took my money, provided me with a receipt, & sent me on my way.
On 01/30/17 approximately 6:45pm EST, my car began to make a loud knocking noise, wouldn't accelerate, & I had to get off the highway (295 South). I was no longer able to drive the vehicle. I then had a certified mechanic check my car on 02/01/17 to determine that my ENGINE BLEW from the lack of oil. I advise him I just had an oil change 11/21/16. The mechanic then informed me there was NO WAY an OIL change was performed on my car within that time period at all. He showed me there was no oil, & the little bit of oil that was in the car was JET BLACK & SLUDGE like. Which this was the reason for my BLOWN ENGINE.
I then contacted Tires Plus at (904) 999-0066 and spoke with **. I informed ** of my issue & he then immediately became defensive, advised me my car had over 200,000 miles on it, & there my car may have leaks. Okay **, it's neither here nor there how many miles I have, which is the reason it was bought in for regular maintenance. I informed **, there were no leaks. I would know because I park in the garage & there is no oil on my garage floor (if there is a leak, it would come out, right?). ** then states I may have a leak that I can't see. Okay **, now I would like to speak with your corporate office.
I spoke to corporate which also attempted to speak with the business location, spoke with **, & then apologized of how rude he was because he was also rude to her (corporate office). I was then assigned a claims rep: Juan ** at **, which contacted me 02/05/17 & left a message of an independent technician coming to look at the vehicle to determine if they are liable. The independent guy came & provided his findings & I still do not have my car fixed.
I have contacted Juan every day, multiple times a day & he has not returned my calls. I have left multiple messages & even contacted the corporate office again to request to speak with a Regional Manager since Juan was the Area Manager. Juan has contacted me back & left a voicemail that now they need to look under the vehicle for leaks. THERE ARE NO LEAKS ON MY CAR!!! I am still waiting to have the car looked at underneath & Juan has not returned my calls in order to coordinate when & where I can take the vehicle to be looked at. I currently do not have a car which is sitting in my driveway for almost a month now. I have had to rent cars to get to & from work, & am currently missing work because of this issue.
TIRES PLUS CHARGES ME FOR AN OIL CHANGE & NEVER PERFORMED THE OIL CHANGE WHICH CAUSED MY ENGINE TO BLOW. Do yourself a favor and don't go there, you will thank me later. I went for a wheel alignment on my 2014 Lincoln with brand new 22 inch wheels, and the gentleman working on my car after unsuccessfully trying to do the alignment twice comes out to tell me that one of my rims might be bent and that for that reason he's not able to aligned the car properly.
After I showed him proof that that's impossible due to the fact that I just got the rims 2 days ago he then proceeds to tell me that rotating the tires can fix the problem. At that point I was very uneasy with the situation, but by then he told me that when he took the car for a test drive it was shaking a lot. With the car in worse condition than I came in with I decided to give it a try and rotate the tires if that can potentially resolve the problem, and I've never been more wrong. He didn't have the right equipment to take the lugs off and after trying a few times with different tools scratched one of my rims.
Apparently at that point he realized he was in over his head and asked his co-worker who was working on a car next to him for help. They both come up to me like a pair of pre-schoolers and say "hey sir did you know one of your rims are scratched? Looks like someone tried to steal them". Without saying a word I go inside the store and asked for the store manager (Michael **) who introduced himself as "Mike" and was as unprofessional as the prior 2 guys or worse. Without assessing the situation rudely interrupts me and said "We didn't scratch your rims. They came in like that." When I go to show him it looked like a scene from a funny movie.
The guy working on the car still has the funny looking wrench he tried to use on the car unsuccessfully because it was the wrong size, the other guy is saying to the supervisor (Mike) that he had nothing to do with it and that he was there only because his co-worker asked for his help, and Mike (supervisor) is telling me that there is no way they did it. At that point I knew I was dealing with the 3 stooges and decided to count my blessing and leave, but not before Mike overwhelmed with situation threatened to call the police if I didn't leave. He was going to accuse me of trespassing he said. Unluckily for Mike I recorded the entire incident and will be uploading it on the web soon because his behavior is extremely unprofessional and unfair to the customers.
In conclusion, I left with the car worse than it came in with. They did not have the right tools or the competent staff for the job and the manager far from defusing the situation, escalated it by being dishonest and lying to cover up the fact that they have made a mistake by taking on a job he couldn't do and scratching one of my rims in the process. This is my first review on a company ever. Trust me you will save yourself from unwanted headache by not going there. Save your family and friends as well from arguably the worse customer experience ever.

I brought my vehicle in to have my battery replaced. After doing so, my engine light came on. Returned to shop, and they put the light out. 10 minutes later light came back on. I was informed by my regular mechanic that this should not be occurring. Returned again to shop and was given several reasons why this might be occurring, not admitting that it could have been something that they did. Diagnostic was performed, and several steps were taken to remedy my issue. Vehicle was even taken for a test run to see if light would come back on and of course it did not, that is until I arrived at my workplace, then the light came on again and remains on still.
They obviously do not specialize in electronic or engine specifics. It was suggested that my sensor could have gone bad. I find this strange since it didn't go bad until they replaced my battery. I had my scheduled maintenance checkup just two weeks ago and everything was fine. The fact that they as mechanics were not able to determine if in fact it is my sensor or even what could be causing the engine light to come and stay on after servicing my vehicle, tells me they lack the experience to determine what the problem is, even though they might very well be responsible for the problem.
I have determined that I will never again do business with this company and will advise anyone thinking about bring their vehicle to them for service not to do so. Another gentleman who was in the store also, was complaining about his vehicle performing badly after Tires Plus servicing his vehicle, even after bringing his vehicle back to them 3 times and being lied to about service that was paid for to be done but was not done. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as well as the Corporate Office.

After reading many negative reviews, I thought I should share my experience. I've been bringing my high-mileage vehicles to a KC area Tires Plus (Vivion Rd location) for over a year. They have been nothing but honest with us. We have had some difficult issues with my 08 Kia Sedona. When the first attempt to fix the problem did not work, they worked on it again at no cost. They have been honest about repairs that could wait. (I've always fixed my own vehicles, so I know when they are not being honest.) That is something I really appreciate.
I asked about new brakes but was told I could easily go another two years on my current set, saving me a decent chunk of money. They also cut me a very good deal on a set of tires for my van after failing to find hard-to-notice uneven tread wear that was affecting handling. I will only take my vehicles to this location and we live 40 minutes away. So not every store is bad. Really depends on the location. Plus, watch for coupons. Basically got a free set of spark plugs and wires while having other work done thanks to a $100 off $500 coupon.

We called ahead to Tires Plus and explained that we needed our 4 tires mounted and balanced, including all 4 new valve stems, they told us to come on in and they would take care of us right away. They did as we asked (so I thought) and we were out the door. My drive home was about 30 minutes. As soon as I got home and went to put the tires on my vehicle, EVERY SINGLE TIRE had leaked air and were going flat. I called them right away to tell them and their response was that they would do nothing for me because the tires were holding air when I left. I paid them $106 for nothing.
So I took the tires to Bauer Built and was charged over $200 because they had to remove the tires from the rims, clean the rims, replace the valve stems that Tires Plus had put on, and remount and balance the tires that we had JUST (a couple hours prior) paid Tires Plus to do. Bauer Built explained to us that because Tires Plus hadn't cleaned the rims prior to putting the new tires on, the tires could not seat properly and was causing the leak. So we ended up paying Bauer Built double to fix what Tires Plus should have done right the first time AND paid Tires Plus even though their mistake cost us triple in the end. The least Tires Plus should do is reimburse what we paid them. And even better would be, to be reimbursed what we had to pay Bauer Built for their Tires Plus's negligence. Car vibrated down road real bad. After another appointment that took two hours, two tires found to be out of round. Needed to be ordered. Also one front tire was incorrectly balanced. Had to order tires which got put on this morning. Car inspection said my serp belt good. Five miles down the road my serp belt broke leaving my disabled ** stranded. 59 minute tire change with oil change took 3.5 hours. Told manager it took over 59 minutes, I want 59$. Was told hour seventeen minutes included oil change. Told him a front tire wasn't balanced right from the start and had to be brought back in. Job wasn't complete and told him all they had to do was look at my tire rotating on their balance machine and see it's out of round. I could see it looking in from the overhead garage door.
He told me they do not have time to check every tire for being out of round, but yet it happens more than I think. It takes seconds to look at that tire rotate. Brought in my belt, was told it was a good belt because it didn't have more than ten cracks in an inch. Well have a friend who is a certified mech for a dealership (Dodge). He got me back on the road and stated it's three cracks in an inch and no more than half deep. Three and a half hours for a tire change and oil. Three trips and found on the road dead. Thanks!

I went to Tires Plus in Conyers, GA for a simple oil change. There were two female managers on duty that morning. As usual they check the vehicle over for hidden problems. The last time I was in they wanted to change my cabin filter for $40 which I can do myself so I declined. Well I never got around to changing it and I wanted to see if they would bring it up again. To my surprise, no. The manager did come to me with a scare tactic and say "you had no oil in your engine and it was getting ready to lock up". Hmmm, I said "that's strange" being that my oil change light indicator just came on and was telling me how much life percentage was left. She proceeded to tell me that I need to go by the sticker they put in my window for oil changes versus what the car is telling me. What??? She also informed me that I had a valve leak; I asked where and she said they're still inspecting and will let me know.
About 10 minutes later she comes back and says it's at the top and my oil had leaked out all over my engine. I needed to get it fixed as soon as possible so that I don't break down. She gave me a price quote of $600 for valve work. I sensed BS from the start. I advised her that I would have it checked out myself. I knew there wasn't an oil leak, no oil in the garage, driveway nor all over my engine. So at my next oil change I took it straight to the dealership. My car was thoroughly checked for issues and the only thing discovered that needed to be addressed were tires needed to be purchased soon but didn't have to be that day. Now the dealership could have taken advantage of me, especially as a female not being too informed, but they were honest. I will never, ever do business with Tires Plus again. Buyer beware.

I just had new tires put on my trailblazer along with oil change and alignment. There was some kind of problem that they could not get it to align right. So they called me to say that the tie rod end was bad and it needed to be replaced before they could get it to align right. Well they charged me 229.00 for part and labor. Ok, I come home and researched the same exact part and found it for 31.99. Excluding the labor I was charged 173.99 for the part. Had I know that was the case I would have told them no.
I feel they took advantage of me because first of all I am a woman, stuck in between a rock and a hard place. Since I work for our local public school I will not receive another paycheck until mid-August when we go back to school. I do not get to draw any money during this time off. I am not a teacher. I am a para working with autistic children. I can't even make my house payment for the next two months because this dipped into my summer budget dramatically. Tires I had allotted for and would be able to make the house payments but would be skimping by for anything else during the summer. Is there anything that can be done about this kind of thing. Please help us consumers that are being taken advantage of. If need be I can provide a copy of the paperwork on this.

I knew I needed brakes and rotors all around. I found I also needed rear calipers. My bill was 1000.00 - the most I ever paid for a brake job, more than 700.00 was in parts. I checked all around the various parts house (where they would buy from) and even a dealer. For someone walking in and buying the parts would have been approx. 325.00. Even at the Honda dealer, I could of got high performance parts for 500.00. I have tried to work with TP, but no one will talk to me. Beware - customer service is not their strong suit. I noticed a tire which continued to deflate and made an appointment with Tires Plus to have it checked. At the same time, I also scheduled an oil change. When I arrived, they pulled the tire off and discovered several nails and claimed it could not be repaired and quoted me the price of tires. Of course starting with the highest price, which I could not afford. They did happen to have one of the less expensive tires on hand. Upon returning to my vehicle, I was surprised both jobs were completed quickly and inquired rather the oil changed had been completed also. At that time, I was told it had been. I paid my bill, and when I pulled away from the business I noticed there was no tag on the window to indicate when the next oil change was due.
To be truthful I was skeptical and when I called and asked again, I was assured it was completed or it would not be listed on the paperwork. To my misfortune I let it go. To be truthful, what type of proof can a person ask for to verify an oil change was performed? Now looking back, I should have looked at the oil to verify it was clean, but I didn't. Over the last month I noticed problems with my engine that I've dealt with before, a sluggishness, and went to my normal place for an oil change. They perform a full service, so in checking the different fluids, it would give me an indication if other problems I was not aware of may be developing. They found no problems and as an afterthought I asked how dirty the oil was.
At that time, I was told it was extremely dirty and I may wish to change it more often to avoid future issues. He was clearly under the impression it had not been changed in a long time and that was how I knew my suspicion that I had been mislead was correct. I don't expect any compensation obviously, this is simply my only means of expression that if a person wishes to conduct business with Tires Plus, to proceed with extreme caution. I do still have the receipt as I have always been taught to retain vehicle maintenance records. Unfortunately not all companies will honor a receipt, especially a female in what is considered a predominantly male-led industry.

Don't believe the 59 min guarantee that they boast about. You are supposed to be able to go in and get four tires mounted and balanced in 59 min. Both Tires Plus locations that I went to, I was having two tires put on the first location, sold me on an oil change since it was due, and it took them over an hour and a half to get it done along with the two tires. I can change the oil in my car in 15 minutes without a lift available and if they were dragging their butts. It shouldn't take another hour and a half to mount and balance 2 not 4 tires. The second location that I went to tried to sell me another oil change even though they had all the information from the first visit on their computer. Now the two visits were less than a week difference. The second location also tried to tell me I needed a new air cleaner filter. My question is why were they even under the hood when I didn't request anything else but the two new tires to be mounted and balanced on the car?

Tires Plus on Ft. CROOK Road should be your first clue that this place is not honest. My son, went in about three weeks ago for a bargain oil change. They came back and said, we suspect an oil leak. We can test it for $40. After letting the dye run a couple days, my son went back. They couldn't find a big dye mark on the outside of the engine. They said, the oil must be leaking inside the engine. They then presented an estimate for head gasket, oil pan gasket, two engine rods, and some other seals and gaskets for $2,300. Now, this is for a 2002 Toyota with 175k on it. It runs great with no oil spots on the garage floor. I am thinking, wow! This sounds fishy.
We found a mom and pop garage down the street. They checked out the Toyota. They said, they couldn't find any oil leaks, but the oil on top of the engine was really dirty. They recommended an engine wash to really see if anything was wrong. They felt nothing was wrong, but the engine needed washing either way. If the head gasket was bad, it would only cost $150 plus some labor. Bottom line: Tires Plus not only lied about the oil leak. They may not have even changed the oil in the first place, if the next garage found dirty oil in the engine. Run, hide from these con artists. A disgusted dad who almost got stuck with the bill.

It was Sunday and I was grateful to get an appointment with Tires Plus (1100 Atlantic Blvd, Neptune Beach, FL) as I only have one car and drive 45 min one way to work 5 days a week. It's all highway driving and I wanted to make sure my car is in top condition. To make a long story short, my roommate dropped my car off and when given an estimate on how much it would cost he called me to make sure it was ok. They insisted the calipers needed to be replaced along with brake pads and rotors for a grand total of $1200. Within 30 minutes of receiving the phone call from my roommate I had my friend call back to confirm the necessity of all the work being done. They said replacing the calipers was recommended on older cars.
My friend told them not to replace the calipers and just do the brake pads and rotors. They told my friend that the calipers had already been replaced and the job was done. A phone call was not received for another 2.5 hours telling me the car was finished. When I got to the facility my car was not done and was still in the rack. I heard the manager behind the counter telling a gentleman behind me that they were short handed (missing 2 guys). After consulting some friends, there is no way they could have completed replacing the calipers in the amount of time that had transpired between phone calls. Tires plus is poor excuse for car care and should be avoided at all costs. I have been raped by them and completely taken advantage of. When I didn't see anything they raised the car and a couple of drops of oil fell down. I asked if this was the problem and they told me it had to be several leaks and they needed to put the car on the machine to find out where the leaks were and proceed from there.
I informed them that I had been to the dealer's service center down the street yesterday and left with everything ok. They repaired the car and they put it on the machine and no mention of oil leak. This happened 3 years ago but It was without a doubt the gem of a society where it is pay us or else, even though we agreed on this price. And we need to offer no explanation. Just pay! I was looking for a boat tire for my Spartan trailer, and I called Tires Plus and they said "Yes, we have it on stock. Bring it in." So I brought the tire and rim in and got a tech to look at it. I placed it on the lawn beside the parking lot in the grassy part and the sales kid said "We will have it on in about a half of an hour." I did a few things around town while I waited and returned after 1/2 hour. The rim and tire never moved from the spot we set it. "We had problems with another vehicle, so we are behind." Okay... that happens. "But the salesman said yours is next. It should only take us 20 minutes max, try back in about 45 minutes." "Okay" says I.
I waited an hour just not to "hound them". Went there after an hour, tire is STILL not touched, same spot in the grass. Now I asked what's the story on my tire?? "Yep, we are changing it out next". I maintained composure throughout this entire wait, very nice, and the salesman was acting as if I was a thorn in his side for asking when will I get my tire? And giving him more time, coming back only to have "try back later".
Now the kicker... I was quoted $45.00 for the tire, $50.00 out the door. After I saw the tire mounted after nearly 4 hours of waiting I said "It's the wrong size". "It's cross-referenced in different measurements, but it's the same size". Said the sales person. Okay I didn't know so I took his word for it. For the record there, he was right, the tire worked. Now time to PAY... $62 dollars for the tire, $8.00 for shop rags, $12.00 for "SHOP TOOLS??" plus tax. There were 4 people in line to pay for who knows what behind me and I said "First off you said 50 bucks out the door", the tire was not balanced as he said "It's a trailer tire, no need" (he may be right, I dunno). Then I followed it up with "$8.00 is a lot of shop towels" as I was a printer so I knew how much Quartermaster charged per bundle of rags. But I said nothing about the rags.
I calmly said "Why is this tire nearly $20 more than you quoted me? And what is this SHOP TOOL of $12 for? His explanation was the tire was more because we had to cross it over to a different name tire as we did not have the correct size. (Even though he said he did) "And the $12 is for wear and tear on our tools." "Like what?" I said. "Just things like air." AIR?? I had no idea what he meant. "AIR??" I questioned him. "Yes. Wear and tear on the air compressor." I was floored. I paid the guy just to get it over with, in shock, anger, and disbelief. The consequences were simple - I was robbed and I would rather drive on rims than deal with Tires Plus again.

Ok. So I don't normally write reviews but I figured this called for one! What a bunch of crooks! I called for appointment for my wife's Tahoe for brakes. They quoted me to replace pads and if rotors could not be turned they would be 105 x 2 for front and 115 x 2 for rear. Total of everything needed replaced would be almost $800.00 with tax and shop fees. Same rotors at Advance Auto parts: Front cost me 65 total, rear cost me 102 total... Let's see that a 145 difference for front and 128 difference for the rear. On top of that it is less labor to take them out of box and put on than to take old ones off turn then put back on. I spent a total of 245.00 for pads and brand new rotors at Advance. So I told them "Just put me down for Oil Change."
Today when I was there for oil change I just wanted to see what it would cost me to have shocks/struts replaced on my Dodge Ram... Estimate was $1111.20 ($707.96 Parts and $352.50 Labor). So I went to advance and got the price of the same parts they are using. Their price for Monroe Quick Strut is $242.99 a piece so that's $488.98. Advance price is $155.99 without promo code. With promo code the price is $109.19 a total of $218.38. That a 270.60 price difference. Their price on the rear shocks is 110.99 x 2=221.98. Advance price 56.99 x2=113.98. With promo code the price is 73.98 for both. A difference of 148.00. So buying the items myself I can save ($707.96-$292.36) $415.60.

Two hours later, he tells me my AC blower is gone and needs replacing and he could do the job, and the part will cost $60 plus labor. This is a criminal act. I just had the AC serviced a month before. It was blowing cold air right up until I turned off the ignition and handed them my keys. There was nothing wrong with the blower before they touched my car. This was the second incident. I took my husband's car for tires the week before. They were having a buy 3 get one free tire sale. Finally, getting a word in, I told him that the battery was less than a year old and still under warranty so I'd take the car there. He quickly gave an "Oh okay" and walked away. The next day I went to Walmart and told them what the "honest" mechanic at Tires Plus told me. He happily tested the battery. It was fine. He said "Look. Well the other day I was driving and my brakes went out and I nearly crashed.
I took everything apart to see if I could find the problem, only to find they only serviced one side and damaged my drum on the side they did work on, but charged me for both. I took my truck to a different location off Southside and talked to the manager Travis who agreed to fix what was not done the first time, free off charge. On July 18, 2015 I went into Tires Plus for a routine oil and filter change. When the job was done I was informed that I was in need of a new set of tires, which was true since the car still had its original tires. A sales representative gave me an estimate of $421.00 to have them replaced. He asked I had a Tires Plus credit card. I said that yes but I did not have one on me. He asked me for my phone number to see if he could access my account. My number had changed several times since I had applied for their credit card and I could not remember it.
When he asked me for my social security number I told him that I did not want to apply for credit. He assured me that he was only doing a research for my existing account. He then handed me the phone so I could be identified by credit card company. Nor did the representative asked if I wanted to apply for credit. I stated who I was and handed the phone back to the sales rep. A few minutes later he said that he could not locate my account. Three days later I received a letter from Credit First stating that my application for credit with Tires Plus credit was denied. When I contacted Tires Plus I was told that it was a standardized letter and that it didn't mean anything but he would look into it.
At this time I also told him about my seatbelt alarm not working even though it was working when I brought it in and that the acceleration halting whenever I press the gas. I brought it in the next day to be looked at, hours later my alarm still does work. I was told since it's under warranty to go to the dealer. And the issue I had with the accelerator because I put gas in the car will not be going back. I should have gone to the dealer in the first place.

Upon walking in Tire Plus, I notice one other person sitting in the waiting area. When the guy got to the counter I asked if I could have someone to check my truck out because of the fluid that was leaking from my truck? His response to me was he could not get anyone to check my truck out today but I could make an appointment to come back tomorrow. He did not have anyone that could check my truck out and the time was 4:30; I asked what time did they close and his responsive was at 7:00 p.m. A place that work on cars and trucks to run a business such as this without any mechanics doesn't any sense to me; but I am just a customer trying to get good service. As I was leaving, I notice 2 of the bays were empty.

Found a screw in one of the new tires I had installed at your Englewood, FL store. Called them up for an appointment to have it repaired. Was told that it would take 30 to 45 minutes to have it patched. Showed up at the store on time, only to wait 90 minutes before I was told their "tire man" went to lunch and I would have to wait even longer. Why even give people appointments if you can't keep them? Better yet, why employ someone at a tire service that isn't a "tire man"? Two of your employees were standing around playing games on their phone, while only one was working in the bay. Unbelievable.

I do have their credit and considered having the work done. I have never paid that much for brakes so I decided just to do one price compare. I called Just Brakes and they said it depended on the condition. I told Tires Plus not to do the work - took my car to Just Brakes ending up paying $99.00.
For me once shame on me. I recently took my car in because the air wasn't blowing cold and there was a ticking in my engine. Terrence worked on my car and said the ticking was because I had low oil. The air ended up being $450.00 and they never put oil in the car. My hood doesn't stay open now and the car just over heated and leaked coolant all over the engine. Here is no nice way to put this other than I got snowed by this business!! I needed to have some work done on my car because there was radiator fluid spewing out of one of my hoses. We took it here because I had heard good things from people I know personally as well as by some favorable reviews online. Oh and I loved the fact that they were open later than noon on a Saturday.
The two customer service reps at the front were very nice and helped us quickly. We waited about twenty minutes or so for them to do a pressure test on the radiator and to look at our car. We were told what needed to be fixed and I almost vomited when we were told that the hose that needed to be replaced was going to cost us over $167.00. Really?? For a rubber hose?? But I know I could not fix the issue myself nor could my spouse. So what else were we to do??
So the bottom line was $302.00 between parts and labor. They said they could do it today so with a sick feeling we did give them the ok. We walked outside to discuss the issue and to look the part up online. We did see some hoses, but they were all priced for around $40.00 from Walmart and the like. There was no way the part we were having replaced by Tires Plus and what was online could be the same. The price was so different.
Now I'm not a stupid person I know there is a markup on these parts, but I could not believe they would charge us so much more. So we went back inside and sat and waited. I thought they were working on our car and that it was extensive as we ended up waiting for over an hr. But color me surprised when a delivery man from O'Reilly Auto Parts showed up and gave the guy out in the garage the part and he walked over to my car to start working on it again.
The delivery guy was standing at the front counter talking to the customer service guy and we overheard him say "I don't know where they get these prices, I mean I know they have to mark it up, but it's just a little piece of hose." We waited for about another 15-20 minutes and then our car was done. We paid the bill and left. Looking at the receipt in the car we were charged $77 for labor. This price leads me to believe that we were charged extra labor time because they did not have the part on hand and had to wait for it. Why is that our cost? They didn't even give us any indication that we had to wait for the part.
On top of that because the part number they used was on the receipt I looked up the part with that number and color me shocked when I found out that it was the part we were looking at earlier for $40. Wow!! I will never do business here again and I will let everyone I know not to do it either. I will continue to post this issue as many places as I can. I tried to put it on their Facebook page but they would not post it - surprise, surprise. If I can save someone from getting ** like we did then I will feel better.

I've had my car for over a year and never had problems with it, I take my car to Tires Plus for an oil change and they always try and tell me some bull about stuff I need. Well the other day I heard some noises and was taking it in for a oil change anyways so they could look at it. Turns out the harmonic balancer was out of whack and I physically saw it so it wasn't anything I wasn't unsure of. And it was a decent price to fix so I said okay whatever, that's more than likely what I heard. Then after a hour of waiting on just the part, they don't have the tool. Awesome. Then the tool they got wasn't the right one so an employee had to take me home because my car couldn't drive. Luckily the next day I was going out of state so I didn't need my car.
The shop manager calls me saying I need a new belt and I said no, idc put the old belt back on. He said he wouldn't feel comfortable and I told him my wallet doesn't feel comfortable paying that so I got him to give it to me half price but still was more then I intended. Here we are 5 days later and all of a sudden when I put it in park, it bogs down so far it almost shuts off. So I take it back AND WITHOUT EVEN LOOKING AT IT the guy said "yeah that's not the balancer." Tech wasn't there that day, had to wait til the next.
Next day - apparently it's some magical air valve that's broken but doesn't know coz the other tech who deals with that isn't there, meanwhile I told him that's wrong coz the mass air flow sensor determines blah blah, and he said "Oh... well there another one." I called corporate complaining and cussing about it. She claimed that it would get sent straight to the top people but who knows. All I know is they are full of crap and I'll never go there again.

The girl told me the air leak was coming from around the bead and they had resealed it. The next morning, the tire was almost completely flat.
When I called to ask if they could fix it, they rudely told me I'd have to wait in line. I asked if they would kindly put the spare on so I could make my appointments. They said wait in line. I said thanks for nothing and called another garage. He took me right in, fixed the tire in 15 minutes and told me that, in fact, the bead had never been resealed. The problem was a screw lodged in the center of the tire. "You can't miss it," he said. Tires plus had missed it because they never even looked at the tire. Stay away from these guys!

Here is how it went: I showed the guy the printed email from Tire Rack with Tire Plus price pledge. The guy said: We cannot match the price, since you did not pay the tire shipment. Me: The shipping fee should be paid to Tire Rack, not to you, and I did pay Tire Rack for that. The guy: No, not to them. (!!!) Me: You also charged me shop supplies of $5.77. What are they? The guy: The materiel used in our store, such as the liquid, the electricity, etc. (!!!) Me: Thought that should be already included in the service charge? The guy: No. Knowing I have not much to do with him, then said: Maybe the questions are hard for you to answer. Will a manager be able to answer the questions? The guy went to get her.
The lady then showed up in the counter. She went straight to another customer; even the guy assistant is available. There was only one customer, and she was soon done, then wondered about the counter area leisurely, and ignored me, till I asked if she was the manager. Here is the conversation I had with her: Me: Your assistance got me applied a Tire Plus credit card, and said there will be 10% discount with the card, but I did not see that. The lady looked around, then said: You did get $10 off the alignment. Me: That is the alignment discount certificate from your shop, different from the credit card discount. The lady: You can not get both. Me: They are completely different things. The guy had the alignment discount certificate in hands, still said there would be 10% discount with Tire Plus credit card payment, and he has already applied the 10% to my bill. Watch the mark up, it's worse than most shop's 2.6 to 3 times part plus labor. Ask for old part and see which part they put on. Ask for box, you really want to know if it's moog, parts master (generic) or what. They will charge you top of line stuff and put the cheap stuff on. It's all about bottom line and how well you get along (making profit) with the D.M. that month. You could go to the dealer and get the same thing done and get manufacture specific parts. Then Asked for a price of new tires for my wife's car and he was too busy trying to sell us a credit card through their store and to me they forgot to do my truck and the mechanic was finishing up an oil change other 10 mins. 1/2 hour late, go back in to check and mechanic ran into a mechanical problem doing the oil change. My wife asked how much later and he asked about the credit card so we left.

I bought my tires from Tires Plus 6 months ago. Today I discover I had a flat tire on my way to work. I went to the closest Tires Plus off Prater Way. When I went in, I guess they were really busy with appointments. I was told to leave my car and they may get to it or I can make an appointment for the next day or go to another place. I ask the person what about going to another Tires Plus? I was told to call around or just drive over to one. I asked if they had a phone number to another location. They gave me a phone number and say this one would be closer to my work. It turns out it was not close to my work and that the person I spoke to was the store manager. I ended up being so frustrated that I went to a completely different Tire shop who fixed my flat for free in a matter of 20mins.
I guess I was just expecting a little better customer services since I had purchased my all 4 of my tires from them. Instead I felt like I got the brush off. I think it would be helpful on the Tires Plus pamphlet that they list all of the Tires Plus locations, phone numbers, hours of operations and what services they provide. I think it would be extremely helpful if the store person could look up the other locations or make a call to help get you services if they are too busy or provide some better options.

I stopped in Tires Plus to make a appointment and get a price. They told me to bring the car back at 2pm. I asked how long it would take. I was told I could get the car back by 4pm. It is now 6pm and my car is still up on the rack. So it's been 4 hours for two new brake pads and counting. When I asked at 4:30pm, I was told by the same man that (that told me 4pm) he only has one guy working today. Why would he not tell me that when I first came in or tell me it's going to take over 4 hours for brake pads?!
