I had a very good experience with Sunrise Toyota in Oakdale. The sales rep. Alex was very helpful. He explained the very impressive features of the RAV4. We had a test drive that day, July 11 during which Alex pointed out the safety features. I went back July 13. Alex was able to find the color I wanted on the lot with all the features. With the help of the finance manager Jason I drove off with the vehicle that afternoon. What a great and easy experience it was!

I first leased my 2014 Toyota Corolla at Sunrise Toyota and from the very beginning everyone was so friendly and helpful. My lease is up in August so I went just to see what my options were. Salesman Ahmed helped me out. I was interested in a Rav4 Hybrid so after consulting, he had me test drive it. After going back and forth and asking all kinds of questions, I decided to buy out my lease. He was super helpful and patient with me. I am so happy with my decision, thanks to his help. I would definitely recommend Ahmed!

New Toyota Tacoma purchase - I just recently leased my first car at Sunrise Toyota dealership. My salesman was Bob **. Bob was very easy going and informative. I told him this was where I see myself in this price range and he got it there!! I hope if I ever purchase another vehicle from Toyota Mr. ** is the man that helps me again!!!

Bob ** was our sales rep. He is very knowledgeable about Toyota. We were directed to Sunrise from the Costco car purchase program. Savings in the end was not as large as expected but there was savings. My Wife and I have the car we wanted to buy, not lease and a extended warranty program that will cover any repairs that might arise in the future (not that we are expecting any).

I want complain about one of the dealership long island call "sunrise Toyota" 3984 Sunrise Hwy, Oakdale, NY 11769. I went there through Costco Auto program which suppose to be hassle-free buying experience. When I went there they didn't have the car and finally they told me they have one car and they can get me 2 days. All I need to put $500 deposit which is returnable in case I change my mind. 2 weeks after when I called them and asked them about my car they said they didn't find it yet. Then I said I want to wait to buy the car since they didn't find the car.
Now the salesman ** stop reapplying my phone call and the manager ** threatening me to charging 20% of the car cost and in addition taking me to court. Finally when I get Costco advocacy group involved they willing to pay my money. Today I travel 2 and half hour to sunrise Toyota to get my money and here I am waiting to see him, don't know what's coming btw. Worse experience ever and I wonder how they have all the good reviews with that kind of service. My opinion never go sunrise Toyota. I am sure Toyota and Costco auto program doesn't do business like "sunrise Toyota" is doing like force people to buy with false information.

Boy, I had a long day. Wish I met Bruce ** at Sunrise Toyota in the first place. Tried to buy a Corolla. Everyone had a dealer fee added to the price, which they told me after we agreed on the price! Not Bruce (Sunrise Toyota). He listened to my needs, demo ride had so much more detail than the other rides I took the same day! I was able to see all the colors in one place on a huge lot. Let me just say, STOP, Just go see Bruce ** for a simply fair deal made easy!

We cannot say enough positive things about our experiences with Sunrise Toyota over the last 18 years. We are now on our 7th vehicle from Bruce and his team. Mike ** and Ryan made the entire process smooth and seamless. They had our vehicle ready to go when they said they would, and did as much beforehand as possible which made for a pleasant experience. Don't buy or lease a Toyota anywhere else!

First time I purchased a new car and it won't be the last. My sales person was Efrain. He was very knowledgeable and explained the various Corolla models in stock. He was very patient with me and told me that I did not have to take the car home today if I was not ready. No sales pressure made me feel comfortable. I came back in two days and made the purchase. I highly recommend Sunrise Toyota the sale staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Upon entering Sunrise Toyota, I was greeted by a young woman who inquired if I needed help. She introduced me to Mike **. He asked what I was looking for, and I explained to him I was just looking. He took me to a variety of new cars and explained all the features of each car. Never, did he put any undue pressure on me to purchase a vehicle. After looking at a few cars, I decided to get serious about the 4Runner. Mike explained the price and options that came with the car. I was satisfied with the information he provided and decided to purchase the car. There was no hassle with the car I traded in. I received a fair value.
The finance manager who I dealt with, Jason, explained all the different finance options and did not attempt to get me to purchase something I did not need. During the process, I greeted by Bruce **, who asked if I had any issues or any questions. I found out that he was the Sales Manager. Once I was finished with the negotiations, the price was signed off by Bruce ** who, again, made sure I was satisfied with the service and price. The experience with Sunrise Toyota was stress-free and I recommend them to anyone interested in a Toyota.

On 4/9/2010 I entered into an extended warranty agreement with Sunrise Toyota re: my 2007 Tundra. I was told that if I did not have any repairs done by 5/1/15 that the $2500.00 I paid for the extended warranty would be returned to me. On 5/2/15 I was present at Sunrise Toyota and filled out papers requesting my $2500.00 since I did not have any repairs done to my vehicle. Since 5/1/15 I have been given a "runaround."
First I was told by a Lisa ** that the company that held the warranty had gone out of business. I did not go into an agreement with an outside company. I went into the agreement with Sunrise Toyota. I signed the paperwork at Sunrise Toyota, not with an outside concern. On 9/2/15 I was told that I had waited too long to submit for the reimbursement. As noted above, I went to Toyota on 5/2/15, one day after the agreement expired. I have documentation created by a Steven ** at Toyota. Sunrise Toyota kept my $2500.00 for 5 years. I would like for them to reimburse me the money. Thanks.

Got service done and they damaged my rim. When I first called to complain it was all nicey. On August 1, 2015 called again only to hear about someone taken off and how busy they were to get back to me then all I heard was how the service rep had a flood in his apartment. Still no mention what they were going to do but they were going to do right by me. Still nothing on August 20, 2015 after BBB Complaint and Toyota Corp complaint. Check your vehicle good before you leave. Suggest get a police report of damage if you do have any like I should have. They will run you around so don't be good guy.

Attended the Customer Loyalty Event and turned in my Toyota lease for a new Toyota lease. I was told they would take my car back free and clear with no additional money due. A month later I received a bill for a disposition fee. When trading in Toyota for another Toyota being a "loyal" lease customer for over 7 years and a returning customer to Sunrise Toyota I should have never been charged. Called Atlantic and spoke to a very nasty manager that rudely said I am responsible for the fee because they went trough TFCU to fund the lease so technically its not Toyota to Toyota. Who they chose to fund loan is not my problem. The car in addition was not prepped to the way it should have been. When asked where the car mats were they tried to play stupid and told me it didn't come with them and I had to point out on the on the car package sticker it did. I had to send the car back to get re-detailed for the interior while signing the papers.
I picked the car up at night so it was difficult to get a good view of the exterior condition of the car. When viewing the car in the daylight there were light scratches on both sides of the car. To add insult to injury I received a "$20" target gift card for attending the event and when I went to go use the gift card it only had $10 on it. If I could give them back the lease I would just on principal. I intend on escalating all of my concerns until Toyota does something about sunrise Toyota misleading the customers.

Overall, 11 hours experience from inquiry to purchase was horrible. Make sure if you go then your sales manager should not be Kevin **, who do not know anything for each question you ask. He just go out to check with seniors and take too much time... and not have good behavior to talk. Finally, they taken approximately $2000 extra than what was the published deal for Lease on Toyota site due to misinformation on Trade in and told unable to cancel the deal. Never do Trade in with them; otherwise, they will misinform till final purchase and will keep your car without adjusting anything from final purchase and will not return. It was a mental harassment till 1 and a half month even after purchase. They taken out the Toyota Financial Services review before I responded. Finally, I have much regret how can I finish this very bad deal.

I purchased a Toyota 4Runner from Sunrise Toyota. I ordered new tires and I had them installed by the dealership. I asked them to keep the old tires. I arrived at the dealership to pick up the 4Runner and the tires were gone. The dealership would not replace the tires or give me any discount. I contacted the BBB and they have done nothing but lie to them and they tried to get out of paying me any money for my tires. I will have to purchase summer tires for my 4Runner and they cost around $1,000.00.

On March 22, I had my car towed to Sunrise Toyota shortly before closing. The Service advisor was John **. He was very dismissive in what I had told him as far as what my previous body shop had explained to me, as my car having a computer problem. Mr. John told me he that Toyota needed to do their own diagnosis. He said I would hear from the dealer the following day in regards to what the diagnostic report results were and whether the repairs were covered under warranty. I asked if I was entitled to a loaner car, and he said only if my car's problem was covered under warranty and it was going to be held for longer than one day. He was extremely dismissive.
I called Toyota that same night and was given a case number. The next day, no one from Toyota called me. At the end of the day, I called Toyota to check the status of my car to see if the diagnostic report was completed. The girl on the phone had no details. She didn't know what the problem was, the outcome, etc. I told her that I didn't authorize any repairs that weren't under warranty. She too was dismissive.
She said that the car was almost done and the paperwork will be completed, then I could pick it up. I had no idea what Sunrise was doing to my car. I asked for an estimated time, and she said 10-15 minutes. I asked her to have someone call me when it was done, and she begrudgingly took my number and immediately hung up the phone, which was unacceptable customer service.
Then I got a phone call from the dealer once it was ready and was told my car was ready. When I picked it up, I was quickly given my keys and told where my car was. When I got in my car, there were a few white spots that resembled thumbprints on the inside driver door panel. I called Toyota in California again to relay my experience and was given a new case number. They told me to contact them if the dealership did not call me within 3 business days. Sunrise Toyota never called.
On the fourth day, March 24, I called to report that that Sunrise Toyota did not call. California told me that they would call Sunrise Toyota and put a priority on my complaint and Sunrise would have 1 business day to contact me. I was never contacted. I contacted California this evening, and they told me that they told me that they had notations from Sunrise Toyota that I spoke to the Customer Relations Manager, who apparently apologized for being so busy that particular day and that I also apparently demanded lifetime oil changes. This is a blatant lie. This conversation never occurred, because I spoke to no one at Sunrise Toyota on any day and not a single attempt was made in good faith on their part to resolve this issue.

On 2/18/10, I brought my 1995 Toyota MR2 to their facility to have a body work performed (I was rear ended). I was promised by Andrew, the body shop supervisor, that my car was going to be fixed the way it was before the accident. I also requested that all old parts be saved emphasizing on one specific part. I was told that they will be finished within 2 weeks maximum. When I received the first phone call stating my car was finished, I showed up, and as soon as I see my car, I can see unaligned panels and tail lights from a distance. So I requested that they fix that. This happened another 3 times about the same problem area! I also found out the body shop had neglectfully lost the part I emphasized was important to keep. Well, yesterday, 3/17/10, I went again to pick up my car and I inspected it all around.
Not only was there now new damage to my front bumper, the same problem in the rear tail lights was still present! I was told by John ** that was the best that they can do. I paid the bill just to remove my car from their lot because I no longer felt comfortable with my car sitting there! I have completely lost trust in their entire facility, nonetheless the Toyota name. When I arrived home, I took a much closer look at the work that was done only to find out that the work was really sloppy. They attempted to cover the area that I kept pointing out was wrong by installing 5 washers on a bracket rather than fixing the rear metal panel! Also, they left dents going opposite the point of impact in the rear!
Also inside the trunk, there were numerous dents and sloppy applications of some gray material all over the place. They charged me for a complete body work when it appears all they did was put on a new bumper, paint it, lost and damaged a number of parts which I told them to hold onto, and gave extremely poor effort to repairing the damaged areas! That same day I have informed John ** (service manager) that I was extremely unsatisfied with the quality of their service and workmanship and will dispute the charge I placed on my credit card. I have also notified my credit card company of this issue as well as the general manager of the facility. So all in all, they lost a number of parts, they did not put any effort to fixing the tweaked panels and they also damaged my front bumper. It appears they did nothing but take shortcuts and try to cover problems instead of fix of them. By all means please avoid Sunrise Toyota, especially their body shop!

I was shopping around for a Toyota Highlander vehicle. I sent a quote request to Sunrise Toyota, after which I was contacted by Stephanie H. by phone and e-mail. We reached an agreement on the prices for my trade-in and the Toyota. I provided VIN numbers of my vehicles since I live 50 miles away and received a confirmation that the deal we agreed on will be met. I asked two times to confirm and confirmation has been made twice but in order for that to be done, I needed to bring in my cars. I was also named who I would be dealing with in the store. The person’s name is Mike C.
I contacted him on the phone and he also gave me a confirmation that deal will be reached. I arrived to Sunrise Toyota and on the location, I was told that Mike C was busy and was appointed to another sales person by the name of Steve as he called himself. In fact, I lost three hours of time and the deal was not reached as the price that was confirmed over the phone and e-mail was not reached. This store is fraudulent and misleads people into coming to the store. The trick is saying one thing to a person and a completely different story once the person arrives to the store.

I bought a car from Sunrise Toyota in June 2003 and paid it off late 2004. I was young and unaware of dealership/financial issues. My parents were there, however were not involved apart from co-signing the loan. I was looking over my paperwork afterwards and thought I was charged more than I was supposed to be. When I went to Toyota, I was not helped regarding this situation. Sunrise Toyota is now under new management. I desperately need assistance in figuring this out. I was in debt for some time because of this loan. If I overpaid for the car it would be great if I could get the money back. I do not have money now to pursue this on my own and need someone to help me.

I went to this dealership on Thursday, December 24, regarding a price inquiry of a Toyota Highlander. I spoke to a salesperson named Paul **, who was signed to assist me. I took a 2010 Highlander for a test drive and when we sat down at his office to discuss the prices, since this vehicle was a little out of our price range, we asked for a 2009 model which they had in stock. This particular salesperson did not allow us enough time to make a decision and therefore was rudely rushing us to purchase this vehicle. He repeatedly said that, "We are wasting his time and he wants to leave to go home to his family." He also told me that in order to speak to the finance person named Jeff regarding lowering our monthly payments, we would have to pay a deposit of $500.00 to hold the vehicle and that if for some reason we decided not to purchase this vehicle, then our deposit will be refunded. He also mentioned that Jeff would call us on Saturday, Dec. 26th, to discuss our loan process.
I called on Monday, Dec. 28th (at this point, I did not receive any calls from anyone at that dealership regarding my loan/vehicle). I was told by the salesperson, Paul **, that they do not issue refunds over the phone; that I would have to go there in person to sign a document that I no longer want the vehicle, then I will be able to receive my deposit back; and when I get there, to ask for Bruce the manager. However, Bruce told me that the salesperson has misinformed me and he rudely refused to refund my deposit back. He said they worked hard to get my loan approved and he had to pay his employees for their work that is why he could not issue my deposit back. He did not even give me any documents to sign stating that I don't want to purchase the vehicle anymore.
I was very upset at the treatment of the staff there and on my agreement document, it clearly states that I was entitled to my refund. I don't think that is legal to keep my refund especially when my document states I am entitled to get it back. I don't recommend this dealership to anyone. They are a fraud and don't keep their word at all.

I had left a deposit on a 2006 used Seqouia, with the agreement that the check would not be deposited until the financing arrangements were worked out. I dealt with Russ **, the Finance Manager, who told me that since it was a weekend, he would get back to me on Monday or Tuesday with a response. Over the weekend, I decided not pursue this vehicle and called Russ on Monday to let him know and asked him to either return or destroy the check. I did not hear from him back. A week later, Russ called me at work, and told me he arranged financing, for an astronomical monthly payment. I told him that I would speak it over with my wife. My wife called him back and told him to forget the deal but before the call, she called the bank and found out that Sunrise had already deposited the check, and my bank had paid it. When she called Russ and asked for her money back he yelled and berated her, and said that we went behind his back. Now, I have to wait for "headquarters" to issue me a refund.
