As the Data Editor, Jill is launching a data-based investigative reporting team focused on consumer issues. Jill has worked for The Salt Lake Tribune, The Desert Sun, inewsource and USA TODAY, earning a Pulitzer Prize for explanatory reporting in 2018 for her work on the deaths of undocumented border crossers. Her passion is shedding light on injustices and holding the powerful accountable. Jill graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in psychology and criminology and was editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, The Daily Pennsylvanian.
