Porsche is recalling 1,700 911 models to repair a problem with the wheels and hubs. The affected models are:

The company said that as the locking hubs wear, the wheels could loosen, increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the locking hubs and wheels with an improved design free of charge.
