NHTSA Investigates Toyota Sienna Rear Seatbelts |

NHTSA has identified 40 consumer complaints and field reports detailing the problem as well as 3,089 warranty repairs of rear middle-row seatbelts in the Sienna. The repair requires the replacement of the seatbelt guide assembly. Consumers are concerned for the safety of children occupying the middle-row seats and the have expressed that concern to NHTSA. Toyota has not announced a safety recall of the seatbelts. |
