More about Pet Food Recalls ...

The recall of Menu Foods dog and cat food in March 2007 was the beginning of a series of revelations, charges and counter-charges.

While millions of pet owners worried about the fate of their pets, pet food manufacturers squirmed, politicians pontificated and regulators tried to get ahead of the situation.

ConsumerAffairs.com's Lisa Wade McCormick and Joe Enoch covered the long-running story, touching the bases on Capitol Hill, at the Menu Foods plant in Emporia, Kansas, and many points in between.
