Spark is a good service. Every representative I talked to is very professional and courteous, and very knowledgeable about what they're doing. So, I don't have any complaints on the customer service side. The efficiency side is pretty good, too.

I've been with Sparks Energy for about 3 to 5 years may have been longer I don't remember. They were under another name but I can't remember. I use to love electricity billing but it's outrageous. My lights nor heater/ac is running but my bill keeps rising. I started out paying on an average of $98 to $110. Now I'm paying $247 a month. It's ridiculous.

I had an issue with Spark Energy where they doubled my rates for five months. I got it resolved, but I never got any refund for when they did that without telling me. I'm afraid that they're gonna raise my rates out of nowhere again.

Sold me low rate for gas commodity but in reality it was only gas procurement service which replaced only a small part of PG&E gas bill for heating. Result was higher cost because PG&E gas procurement charge is less than Spark Energy gas procurement charge.

They never send me disconnect notice or they send it to wrong address and they want to charge me for it. They give three days to pay the past due electric bill and I paid it on third, but they still want to charge me for disconnect notice, they never send out.

I feel like I have been scammed by the agents of Spark Energy. Spark Energy representative came to my home in metro Detroit, showed me they were with my local gas company, and wanted to help me save money. I agreed thinking they were with my local gas company, Consumer Energy. Little did I know that was far from the truth. My gas bill doubled and now I have to justify the 1000s I paid extra. The agent was very untruthful and did not disclose who they represented and all the hidden fees that should have been accounted for. I now know that the agent was hired by Spark Energy and represents their company. This is mal business practice, deceiving customers and this practice should end!

I have been with Spark since I purchased my home six years ago and have been able to continue to renew my contract at a competitive rate. I did have one issue with a duplicate draft from my account, the bank and spark resolved timely and to my satisfaction.

I've never had a power outage so Spark is good. They were cheaper than what I was paying earlier. But later on, it started to get more expensive. The price fluctuated, especially last year and this time of the year. I had to call Spark and ask them what was wrong with it because, without any external usage of the electricity, there was a significant difference in what we were paying before. They said that they would send somebody to read the meter, just to see if it's not up-to-date. But nobody showed up.

Everything was always good. The only big thing was Spark Energy's fixed rates were a lot more visible. I was looking at different providers. So, that was a lot easier as far as ease of use was concerned. Otherwise, the rates were competitive with others, and typically, a bit better.

I have gas with Spark. It’s good.

I like that Spark Energy is cheaper, and I have no problem with the service. Keep up the good work and keep the prices down. It's much better than BGE.

The rate has been going a little bit up. However, I've been comparing it with other providers, and it's still good. I haven't had any issue all these years, not even billing or customer service. Everything has been good.

Spark Energy's rate was cheaper than what I was getting and switching over to them was easy.

Spark was within the price that I was looking for. They asked me three questions then told me the fixed rate was the one for me. So far, they're way better than TX Energy and Ambit. I love Spark. I do everything on the website. It's very easy to navigate.

My bill went from 130 altogether to 70. I'm really pleased with that. Their reps also were very nice.

They called me and I talked to them briefly. It seemed like they're doing an okay job. It would save me money for a year.

This is my first 5 months with Spark Energy. So far it's been a good relationship after getting through an issue with the initial signup. I plan to renew with Spark Energy and continue our relationship without any other issues along the way.

Customer service is terrible. I needed my service transferred to my new address because I was moving. They never shut down the account for my old address. When I received two invoices and called them about it they told me not to worry about it because it was a mistake. Just like the previous mistake that they had emailed out to everyone confirming plan renewals. As they make mistakes they expect you to pay for it. And will put all the blame on you. Save yourself some time.

Spark Energy had the lowest rate and it was a year-by-year thing. It was simple to switch but once I signed up and did everything, I didn't hear from anyone until I got something in the mail maybe a month later.

Spark Energy charged their fees per kilowatt-hour, so I went with them. Based on my usage, the fixed-rate made the most sense. My experience with them has been favorable.

I've had Spark for a long time and I like their rates. I’m also satisfied with their service and when I dealt with their reps, it was a good interaction.

I was with Reliant before and one of my friends referred me to Spark Energy. Since then, I'm doing well. I'm paying the lowest cost since I've been in America. Whatever the charge was fair. So far, I'm happy with their services. I also brought one guy onboard this year.

Spark Energy is providing better rates compared to the one in the market and that made me sign up with them. The sign-up process was good, but there should be one tool you could operate multiple times. One is for the login and again, for the payment, it would go to the different area of things. Other than that, I would recommend Spark Energy.

I've used everybody, and Direct Energy was good at first, but then, they started charging this delivery fee, and this and that. By then, your bill is $400. I did a search one day, found Spark Energy, and signed up for the three-month plan to see if it would save me money. It did, so then I extended it when my three months were up. I've done everything over the web, including signing up, paying bills and when I renewed. It was very simple. Also, my highest bill, to date, of my contract was $97. It's been anywhere from 70 to 80. With Direct Energy, I was paying a lot more a month (200 to 300). I've sent a bunch of people over to Spark and I haven't heard anything negative. Hopefully, they’ll keep treating us right.

We like Spark Energy. I’ve spoken with somebody on the phone at the very beginning and it was really good. She helped me, before I signed, feel good about what I was doing and in case I had to move out early or whatever happens. I work in an area where energy isn't regulated and I don't have any choice over who I use. We’ve used Entergy, and they have astronomical prices. We pay astronomical prices for energy at work, but where I live, I’m saving money.

Spark Energy is a little better than the provider we had in the past. The guy I talked to was also really nice. He took the time to talk to me and explained everything.

Spark's rates are really good. I didn't want variable rates and Spar's rates were fixed.

I had Reliant before and I had prepaid. But I wanted something stable because I was going to be at the location for three years. A friend of mine said that Spark Energy really had good prices, so I went with them. Recently, my bill was up and when I called, they said it was because of the Freestone we had a month ago. Then this month, my bill was low and I'm really happy with it. So far, Spark Energy is so much better than Reliant and every time I called, they'd answer my questions and we'd go through everything.

Spark Energy's rates are really low and your bill is pretty much what they say it is. It may fluctuate here and there, depending on what's going on, but overall, it's been a great experience. Recently, I got a notification and an email from renewing with them. They also called me to see if I wanted to renew my contract and I just did.

Spark's customer service isn't great. Sometimes I get an idiot on the phone but sometimes I get somebody lovely that's well-spoken and can answer all my questions. If I get an idiot on the phone, I just hang up, call back, get somebody else, and go on with my life. Also, there have been little hiccups like the bill not coming in the mail so I have missed that a few times.
