When my 12 month electric contract with WTU expired, I was given no notification. Instead, without my knowledge or consent, my account was changed to a variable rate and my bills kept getting higher and higher. I finally noticed this (as they were automatically drafted) when my bill almost doubled and called WTU. This is when I was told that I had been put on this variable rate. I have always had a fixed rate & given the chance, I would have remained on one. I am a senior citizen, and I feel this is very dirty-handed. Maybe it was legal, but it wasn't right. If WTU cares so much about their customers, they should have notified me in person. How can they do this??? Now they have sent my final bill of $1399.52 to collections instead of trying to work something out with me. I will NEVER use WTU again & recommend no one else does!
The representative I talked to was relatively accommodating but reserved. The bill was vague and could have been clearer but made sense. It could have been put online or on more economic and environmentally friendly paper. Overall was okay. I'm not dissatisfied nor do I really have an absolute love for the company. Customer service not so much. Would prefer better customer representative who knew a bit more at what I needed.
They answered my questions at a fast pace. They were able to resolve my solution with speed and accuracy. The agent was able to deal with me like a person and able to anticipate my every needs. Well there was an issue at first but everything was resolved in a timely manner and I am now happy as I can be. I wish it would have been right at fist but things happen. I wish the price was lower but who like paying any money. I would find more value in the service if the price was lower but I have not complaints really. The service is working when things are in the right conditions but every now and again this will have little issue but you can't control everything.
Staff is very helpful and offer flexible options. They address me by name and very polite. The sign up process was very smooth and effortless. Very simple to understand and list all charges. The bill came on time and I was also offered online payment options. Email notification sent as well to remind of my bill. The value is great with service offered with the price monthly. I enjoy the services and would like to continue business with this company. I rarely have any interruptions with services. I do not have any issues with staying connected. It's very reliable and I can count on the services to maintain my daily life tasks.
The customer service is one of the best in the business. Whenever there is an outage they are quick to fix it and they will tell you approximately how long you'll be without power. Our bill is pretty accurate even during heavy energy times like the summer and winter. Usually, our bill stays about the same amount and doesn't change much. The value is pretty good compared to what other companies will charge you. They have some of the lowest rates around and they always save us a lot of money each month. The service is very reliable. If there is a bad storm or power outage, they will work diligently to fix the problem and get the power up and running again.

The customer service was very pleasing to me. I was always treated with respect and made to feel like I was important. I was never made to feel like I was bothering anyone. They always went out of the way to address my issues. Although there was a few times there were errors on my bill I will have to say that that was a rare occurrence. Anytime there was a problem with my bill the great customer service always were very helpful about getting my problem resolved promptly. Although there were times the amount was more than I had expected this wasn't really their fault and the rates were still fair and acceptable. Outages were not the normal. There were some at times but nothing that I would say wasn't typical. Anytime there was a problem it was always resolved in a timely manner and it was being addressed immediately.
The customer service experience was great because they are very informative, and they are very knowledgeable to answer your questions or concerns. The accuracy of the bill was good because it shows you everything that were charged. There are no hidden fees that can increase your bill. The perceived value is very good and inexpensive. It is very affordable for the those who are on a strict budget or doesn't want to pay too much. The service reliability is great because they are always available if you ever have questions or concerns. In addition, they are good at what they do.
The customer service is good. I really love it because they care about their customers so much and I appreciate that so as a customer I tend to get lost but with their help I am able to find what I need. The bill accuracy is alright. I do believe there is nothing wrong with it since I've been with these people for quite some time now. The value is great. I really, really love the value that they have. All I can say that the value they have is significantly perfect. It's really good for the company. I really like it now since that this company like all the other companies in the country has a good reputation. Not as much popularity for this company but all I can say is the reliability is pretty good.
WTU Energy Company has outstanding customer service. They are all extremely knowledgeable, and more than willing to help. They will answer any question or concern you have. Not one time was I billed incorrectly, every time my bill came I knew that that was the amount of energy used by my household and also I knew it was the amount I needed to pay. I currently live in California, so WTU was my previous energy provider. I pay as much as I did for WTU now with SoCal energy company. This service is super reliable. You can count on them to always get things right the very first time. I never had a problem when I was a customer.
I was very dissatisfied with the representation of WTU. The representative contacted me with a knock on my door saying he could save me money by signing me up at 6 cents per kwh and the promise that WTU would pay my cancellation fee with my current provider. Sounded good so I switched but was shocked to discover that I am still paying around 10-11 cents per kwh on total of bill. Sure you will pay 6 cents per kwh for electric usage but you will discover a charge on your bill that WTU places for their service. So do not change your provider if they come to see you and promise lower rates. I paid a fee of $150.00 for the cancellation from my other company because WTU stated they were not running a promotion for paying cancellation fees for new customers.
