The workers at Walmart in Alexandria KY do not care about patients. They are worried about leaving work early and do it often. They seem put out and bothered when you come to pick up a prescription. There’s a lot of eye roles. These people do not want to work.

I have had two prescriptions that required prior authorization. The pharmacy said in each case they were contacting the insurance company. I called the insurance company each time after about a week and they had nothing from the pharmacy. The staff just doesn't care.

They are absolutely awful. I was told to call back 3 days in a row to fill my script and treated awful every time I called. 3 people gave me three different dates. They are the only people who carry my medicine constantly so it’s a lack of options.

I transferred from Rite aid to Walmart pharmacy from Rite Aid when Rite Aid went bankrupt. I was apprehensive about the transfer process after being with RiteAid for 15+ years. There were a few hiccups mainly due to the difference in store policies but the walmart pharmacists, Amanda and Zach took time to thoroughly explain the issues and made sure my 9 prescriptions were up to date and quickly got the ones that were due filled. They automatically contact my doctors when the meds are due for a refill making sure there are no lapses in the prescriptions. Amanda always greets me with a wave and a smile. Overall, I made the right choice transferring to walmart pharmacy thanks to these two.

The customer service and pharmacist experience is disrespectful at best. I’ve had pills missing on more than one occasion from my controlled substance script (which are benzodiazepines). When brought to the attention to the receptionist - she simply dismissed my concern when asked if it could be counted in front of me, and then told me to have a nice day and hung up the phone. I called back and the asked to speak to the pharmacist. The pharmacist said “that’s not what I heard on my end” and I explained I’m sure it wasn’t what she heard but I was voicing my concerns of the miscounts and was then dismissed and hung up on.
The pharmacist only reiterated how the medications were double checked and counted and all of my pills were there. I stated the last 2 times they were filled, the count was incorrect but I didn’t make a big deal about it but wanted to make sure this time so they could count in-front of me. They continued to dismiss my request and reiterating how they’re always recounted. And I just simply stated that people DO steal and take pills from prescriptions so it shouldn’t be treated as a big ask of me. But clearly these particular people in the pharmacy today do not care about that or believe it to be true. Terrible service and reassurance from both receptionist and pharmacist.

Walmart’s Pharmacist are very unprofessional. They are rude and belligerent! The pharmacy has discount due to they only use Generic which sometimes are not comparable or compatible! Be careful with your prescriptions and how Walmart’s chooses to fill them!!! I also had to wait 6 days for insulin pen needles that are readily available at all other pharmacies and they were charged from the name brand BD to a name brand Embecta which cost me more due to they made more profit on the sale!!! Be careful Walmart’s pharmacist are crooks!!!

When I fill a prescription at Walmart, I can rest assured that everything that can go wrong, will go wrong. From long lines, to two week delays and randomly canceled orders, I know that I'll never have the prescription I need when I need it. Their automated system allows you to sign up for texts when your prescription is ready, but you'll never get them. Then suddenly, a member of their dedicated customer service team will call you, warning that your prescription is going back at 7pm that night, asking if you have "any interest in picking it up." Every day, in every way, Walmart Pharmacy makes my life harder.

I refilled my prescription for a statin. Price increased from $8.78 from 3 months ago to $107.85. I asked how that could be, was told it was my insurance company. I called insurance, they said no, my cost was still $8.78 & they have had dozens of calls regarding this same problem. They gave me quotes from other pharmacies. Will be going elsewhere. That was over 1,200% increase. Which medications will be increasing that much next?

I asked the girl if they received my ** 50Mg. She said, "No. We don't have any." Then she said, "Go to Walgreens to get it." I explained Walgreen does not take my Insurance but I want to get my Medications transferred. She jumps back, "Go to Walgreens to get your medication."
I said to her, "I'm calling to have all my medications moved to your store." But she kept going back to, "Get your medication at Walgreens." "Are you having problems understanding me? I moved, and I want my medications transferred to your Unit, and the Wal Mart in Tullahoma TN told me to call you." She said, "I'm telling you, we don't have the ** 50 Mg." Why she kept going back to going to Walgreens I will never know. Then she said, "Go back to the Wal Mart in Tullahoma to get it." Then I said, "I can't drive since I have Epilepsy." By then I was mad, and I said, "OK but if I have a seizure & die, I will file a law suit." Karl

The pharmacy team in Cherryville — including Brittany, Chameka, Paula, Parul, Ansel, and Anthony — continues to impress me every time I visit. They’re consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience feel less stressful, especially on busy days. One of the biggest strengths of this pharmacy is how well the staff communicates. Whether they’re checking on a refill, verifying insurance, or explaining medication instructions, they make sure you know exactly what’s going on. They work well together as a team, and it shows in how smoothly the line moves and how quickly prescriptions are processed. Their professionalism also stands out. Each staff member is knowledgeable and takes the time to answer questions without rushing you. They explain medications clearly, help with insurance issues when needed, and genuinely seem to care about customer health and comfort.
The convenience here is a major plus as well — quick refills, efficient prescription pickup, and easy access to vaccinations all in one place. Even when the pharmacy gets busy, the team stays polite, patient, and focused on getting everyone taken care of. Overall, the Cherryville Walmart Pharmacy provides consistently reliable service with a caring attitude. This team makes a real difference, and it’s why I keep coming back.

Do not ever go to Walmart on 31st. They are rude and not helpful at all. The pharmacy tech is so so rude. It was the main pharmacy and the lady yelled at me and hung up on me. I just couldn't believer how rude.

Arrogant pharmacist, he wouldn't fill my wife's prescription. When asked about store and insurance policies he started to rant about the problems the store has been having. He finally decided to fill the prescription at his recommendation and not the Doctors. Feed up, I finally told him to keep the prescription and I would have it filled elsewhere.

I contacted my insurance about not receiving my RX in the mail from Aetna Mail Service as it said delivered. They told me that they would do an override and to contact the doctor's office and have them ok a Rx from Walmart for 30 days. I did everything I was asked to do and then called Walmart. Their pharmacist in Roanoke, TX was rude as could be. I was trying to explain the situation to her, and she kept interrupting me and was not giving me a chance to say anything...so I did to her what she was doing to me...raised my voice so I could be heard.
Obviously, she finally heard me but then yelled at me, "Don't you yell at me." The friggin nerve, as she was doing all the raising of her voice to me and would not give me a chance to explain anything. I told her so she got uppity with me and told me they would not release the heart medication because it was too soon for the RX...I told her I did receive the mail order, that they delivered it elsewhere and that is why it is saying this. She ignored me... I suffer from SVT, but she did not show any concern. I did not get a name, but she had an ** accent and as rude as could be.
I called back my insurance company...they called her back with me on the other line and I heard the aetna rep ask her if she could please talk because the pharmacist was yaddering on and on and not listening to the rep. It got straightened out once the Aetna rep was able to shut the pharmacist up so she could speak. I mean how rude is it when people constantly talk over you? Nothing gets resolved if there is someone like this pharmacist who doesn't want to listen to reason. My Aetna rep fixed it all up, and I was able to go get my medication. It used to be a nice bunch to deal with over there at that location till that pharmacist joined the team. I may transfer to another pharmacy where I am allowed to speak!

I needed medication for my dog they called me but I missed the call, no message. I assumed her script was ready. No, they needed more info. Ok, I answered the questions and they needed more time. Ok I walked around the store for 15 minutes, returned and needed more information. 15 more minutes. I waited, went back and needed diagnosis from doc. This time I was not nice! I was tired and frustrated. I told them it was for anxiety but they wanted info from doc. The doctor game them some other diagnosis so they wouldn’t follow it. I just want to apologize for my angry outburst. It was not merited just because I was frustrated. To the pharmacist there last Saturday morning I apologize. I know you were just doing your job. I’m very sorry for my attitude.

I recently transferred my ADHD and anxiety medication to the Abington, Massachusetts, Walmart. When I went to pick them up on October 31, I was told that the ADHD medication would cost $279, which was significantly higher than the $17 I paid at CVS. Similarly, the anxiety medication would cost $90 at Walmart, compared to $3 at CVS. Then said they can't be fulfilled till the 5th. I was not pleased with the prices, and the pharmacist, (Bobby) made me feel uncomfortable. He told me that he needed to speak with every doctor I had seen in the last two years and that Walmart Pharmacy is very strict about who they give medication to.
I felt like he was looking down on me, and I told him that he was not my doctor and that my doctor, who knows my situation, prescribed the medication. Bobby yelled at me, claiming that he was a doctor, and I corrected him, saying that he was not my doctor. He then told me to go fill my prescriptions elsewhere, saying that Walmart does not deal with 'people like me.' I was shocked by his behavior and politely asked for his last name, which he initially refused to provide. When I asked again, he threatened to call the police.

I’ve been on the same Insomnia medicine for 21 years in which the Rolla, Missouri Walmart has filled all 21 of those years with no problem. Recently when picking this medication up I’ve been told (with other staff/ customers around) that I’m abusing my prescription and has many more theories on what she “thinks” is going on and proceeds to shame and humiliate me with other customers standing around. I refuse to believe this is only happening to me. I plan on filing a complaint with Walmart Headquarters about it. No one should be made to feel like a piece of shit for medicine they're on.

Walmart pharmaceutical is a total joke! Consumers that require medications every 30 days are out of luck. Walmart refills medications when they FEEL to do so. My own personal medications are every 30 days, but Walmart themselves, choose to refill my medications when convenient for them. I have waited 32, 33 days for my medicine. I will be will filing with the authorized state government agency, from here on out. WE will not die because Walmart pharmaceutical associates are lazy!!

I have been a customer of the Loma Linda Walmart Pharmacy for over a decade. They usually have great customer service. Today however, I called because my Dr. said (per my request) she had changed my prescription to a lower pain med and called it in. I asked the pharmacist who started asking questions like. Where was my pain at? Have the Dr. tried other ways to control my pain (we have been working for 2 years to try other avenues), where do I live, why do I come to that pharmacy since I'm in a different city (Loma Linda is literally across the street, I'm in San Bernardino). I told her she was getting intrusive to which she said, she could deny my prescription if she was uncomfortable with my answers!

I had a very bad experience with Alice **, the pharmacist at Napanoch, NY Walmart Pharmacy, on September 26, 2005. For many years, as long as the store opened and before that, in the Kingston NY store, I've gotten my prescriptions at Walmart. I take meds for depression and anxiety. I am a senior and and have no history of drug abuse or criminal selling of my medication. On the 26th of September, this pharmacist whose name I found on Yelp, came up to the counter, in front of the other customers and told me I was "red flagged" and I would have to have my doctor prescribe less medication in a bottle for me or she had the "discretion" not to fill it. I asked if this was a state law? Or Walmart. She hers.
I went to the store manager who treated me like a child. I'm 62 years old. I also have a heart condition. I got very upset. He sided with her. He said I deliberately made him think she refused my prescription that day. I told him I did not. They both suggested I go somewhere else. This store and pharmacy are the the ultimate in unprofessional and have major issues. I have complained before and know others that have. This manager and Pharmacist should be replaced. I will be looking into this further. I felt ashamed and chastised like I was doing something wrong. I did nothing I haven't done for years of taking my medication.

This is first and last time dealing with this pharmacy. I moved and 2 weeks prior had transferred all of my prescriptions to this pharmacy. I confirmed the transfer with a pharmacist. On September 26th I had an outpatient surgery at the hospital and was prescribed two types of painkillers to take at home if needed. They were immediately called in to this pharmacy. On September 28th I received a notification that the status of one of them is still unknown and that the author would be ready on September 30th. It's a good thing I have a high pain tolerance.
On September 28th I called this pharmacy to cancel the two prescription orders put in by the hospital and to obtain the pharmacy numbers for the prescriptions I transferred so that I can do business elsewhere. I had transferred three prescriptions and they only had the record of one. They are totally incompetent and they simply didn't care that they had unreasonably delayed or that they had no record of my prescriptions which had been previously transferred. They offered no apology and did not care about retaining my business at all. I am a Walmart+ customer and pharmacy delivery is included in that, however that benefit obviously doesn't do me any good here.

I requested a refill of my insulin from Walmart. Although I am set for automatic refills, they did not contact me. I was told that the prescription would be refilled. Then, I was told that the prescription was unavailable and they were getting me a replacement and it should be done a couple days later. When I returned a few days later, the pharmacist informed me that they had contacted my doctor in order to get an okay from the insurance to change my prescription. None of this had been told to me earlier. They left me without insulin!! When I complained to the blonde female pharmacist at the Franklin store about them having left me with no insulin, I did not even get an apology!! She just said "I hear I ya." The Franklin, New Jersey Walmart store does not care about his customers. Customers. The pharmacists are inept and also don't care about their patients.

I just experienced the ninth mistake made by the local pharmacy of Walmart. I called back in to make the pharmacist aware of the problem and listen to his excuses without once taking responsibility for the error. I told him that if I continue to have problems, I’ll switch my business over to a pharmacy other than Walmart. His comment was, "OK what else." I’m going to ask to speak to the store manager when I go back to pick up my correct prescription. If I don’t get a better answer from him or her, I’ll start switching my orders over today.
