I had a very bad experience with Alice **, the pharmacist at Napanoch, NY Walmart Pharmacy, on September 26, 2005. For many years, as long as the store opened and before that, in the Kingston NY store, I've gotten my prescriptions at Walmart. I take meds for depression and anxiety. I am a senior and and have no history of drug abuse or criminal selling of my medication. On the 26th of September, this pharmacist whose name I found on Yelp, came up to the counter, in front of the other customers and told me I was "red flagged" and I would have to have my doctor prescribe less medication in a bottle for me or she had the "discretion" not to fill it. I asked if this was a state law? Or Walmart. She hers.
I went to the store manager who treated me like a child. I'm 62 years old. I also have a heart condition. I got very upset. He sided with her. He said I deliberately made him think she refused my prescription that day. I told him I did not. They both suggested I go somewhere else. This store and pharmacy are the the ultimate in unprofessional and have major issues. I have complained before and know others that have. This manager and Pharmacist should be replaced. I will be looking into this further. I felt ashamed and chastised like I was doing something wrong. I did nothing I haven't done for years of taking my medication.

This is first and last time dealing with this pharmacy. I moved and 2 weeks prior had transferred all of my prescriptions to this pharmacy. I confirmed the transfer with a pharmacist. On September 26th I had an outpatient surgery at the hospital and was prescribed two types of painkillers to take at home if needed. They were immediately called in to this pharmacy. On September 28th I received a notification that the status of one of them is still unknown and that the author would be ready on September 30th. It's a good thing I have a high pain tolerance.
On September 28th I called this pharmacy to cancel the two prescription orders put in by the hospital and to obtain the pharmacy numbers for the prescriptions I transferred so that I can do business elsewhere. I had transferred three prescriptions and they only had the record of one. They are totally incompetent and they simply didn't care that they had unreasonably delayed or that they had no record of my prescriptions which had been previously transferred. They offered no apology and did not care about retaining my business at all. I am a Walmart+ customer and pharmacy delivery is included in that, however that benefit obviously doesn't do me any good here.

I requested a refill of my insulin from Walmart. Although I am set for automatic refills, they did not contact me. I was told that the prescription would be refilled. Then, I was told that the prescription was unavailable and they were getting me a replacement and it should be done a couple days later. When I returned a few days later, the pharmacist informed me that they had contacted my doctor in order to get an okay from the insurance to change my prescription. None of this had been told to me earlier. They left me without insulin!! When I complained to the blonde female pharmacist at the Franklin store about them having left me with no insulin, I did not even get an apology!! She just said "I hear I ya." The Franklin, New Jersey Walmart store does not care about his customers. Customers. The pharmacists are inept and also don't care about their patients.

Williamsburg Rochambeau Walmart pharmacy is horrible, had a prescription called in and it took them 3 days to tell me they didn't have it. If they told me that the 1st day I could have filled it elsewhere.

The Wallmart Pharmacy in Shelby Parkway has gone downhill. Poor communication skills. I cannot seem to get one of my prescriptions filled on time. I have called four times and they say they’re going to refill it and they never do. They said something about the insurance, but I told them this prescription I pay cash for it because my insurance does not cover it. Some of the Pharmacy technicians just don’t understand what you’re saying.

Terrible service. They made error when filling a prescription (wrong quantity) and when this was pointed out to them they were unapologetic. They took 40 minutes to fix the error and managed to do so with horrible attitude. Won’t use this pharmacy again.

I just experienced the ninth mistake made by the local pharmacy of Walmart. I called back in to make the pharmacist aware of the problem and listen to his excuses without once taking responsibility for the error. I told him that if I continue to have problems, I’ll switch my business over to a pharmacy other than Walmart. His comment was, "OK what else." I’m going to ask to speak to the store manager when I go back to pick up my correct prescription. If I don’t get a better answer from him or her, I’ll start switching my orders over today.

So my doctor the hospital Skagit said they called over at Walmart at 11:00 a.m. and at Walmart accepted my prescription. By 2:00 Walmart still hadn't gotten my prescription and Walmart said they never got it from our doctor and then the lady on the phone was like mad at me. Her customer service skills sucked badly.

Several times Walmart pharmacist have asked me questions about my health that violate HIPAA laws. I told them I will not answer and they said I need to find another pharmacy. I filed a complaint w HHS.

It is unbelievable that Walmart with all their money has by far the worst and most dysfunctional website for their Pharmacies I have ever used. I get two anti rejection meds every month for the last 15 years at the same time and for the last 15 years and there is a problem ever month for the last 15 years. Your WEBSITE makes all your pharmacies look like they don't have a clues on what they're doing. I WISH I DIDN'T HAVE TO USE YOUR SERVICES FOR SUCH AN IMPORTANT ISSUE..

Went to the Camden DE pharmacy to pick up my dog’s meds. However, prescription is not available. She said, “I don’t see any eyedrop here, go to the next window.” She just directed me to step aside so she can see other costumers. No explanations, NOThIng!!! Very poor service.

Walmart Pharmacy can be expensive compared to other competitors. Why do all employees have to take their lunch at once and close the pharmacy for an hour? You wait a while to get your meds. They sends message that you have 3 meds a waiting and when you go to pick it up, you only have one medication for pickup.

My girlfriend tried to fill her prescriptions at the Lewisville, Round Grove location, and the Pharmacist, told her she would fill it once, but she wouldn't do it again. She was rude, she wasn't from this country, and I wanted to tell her to ride your magic carpet back to India, but I did not tell her that, I did tell my girlfriend to move her prescriptions back to CVS.

I don't know what's going on. I usually love the Walmart app for presentations. However, I was sent a text message at 2:14 today. Saying my prescription was ready to be picked up. Since my daughter was already in the store, I called her and asked her to pick it up for me to save me a trip. She waited in line for fifteen minutes and was told it would be a twenty minute wait. Why would the app message me saying The prescription was ready and could be shipped whenever we couldn't even pick it up?

In trying to un-snarl a problem with a new prescription - patiently, courteously - I was subjected to very rude behavior from their blue jacketed pharmacy employee. She was snippy, interrupted me frequently and was just generally as nasty as she could be. Manager, PLEASE! Insist on at least civility from your staff.

I was with the pharmacy for about 3 years. It was great until they got 2 new pharmacist. The female pharmacist was rude. Did not want to do her job as a pharmacist. They would mess up my prescriptions all the time. Tell me that it’s not there and then call me two minutes later to say, "Oh it is here." Tell me that my prescriptions were not ready when in fact, they were ready. The staff would argue with the customers. I have been hung up on numerous times by the female pharmacist.
The Goose Creek Walmart pharmacy is the absolute worst that I’ve ever had to deal with as being a nurse myself I would never treat patients the way that they treat them. And trying to get a hold of the main supervisor above the pharmacist, ** is nearly next to impossible. The staff would give me incorrect phone numbers, incorrect email addresses. I was sent a customer satisfaction survey. I filled it out. Keep in mind. It’s confidential 24 hours later. I received a call from one of the male pharmacist stating that they had a meeting and that they were going to discharge me after my survey the survey was supposed to be confidential so instead of trying to fix the problem with the pharmacy staff they discharged me, then sent my prescriptions to another pharmacy without even a notification. I have all of the phone calls recorded.
When asked where I wanted my prescriptions sent I told them I would have to look to figure out what works best for me without my consent or knowledge they transferred my prescriptions to another Walmart when I wanted them sent to Amazon pharmacy the lack of respect, common courtesy in general Patient care is completely unsatisfactory. If you live in the Goose Creek area of South Carolina, do not use the pharmacy at 605 Saint James Ave. Save yourself a lot of headaches.

Walmart Pharmacy in Eastanollee GA has no interest in helping Veterans. I was recently released from a local hospital and had my prescriptions sent to the local Walmart Pharmacy. As a 25+ year Veteran of the US Navy, I know I am covered, however there are nuisances to VA health care I still struggle wading through. I am not alone in my struggles. I filled the prescriptions I could afford on Saturday, May 17, 2025 and asked if they could fax the remaining unfilled prescriptions to the VA. I was told by the counter clerk they do not transfer prescriptions. 5 DAYS LATER, and doing without the medication, all of a sudden TODAY May 22 2025 it's OK to forward them. I've have called everyone regarding VA health care to include Community Care and CVS Caremark to figure out how to get these thing filled locally with no avail. It ain't boo boo cream. These are prescriptions so I can breathe.
Counter clerks at this pharmacy are horribly unskilled and actual pharmacists seem unwilling to come to the window to help. The clerk today asked for help three different times from the pharmacist to negotiate how to help me to no avail. I guess I'm the only Veteran to utilize this pharmacy and they are clearly unwilling to help unless you rattle cages, spit on sidewalks and generally be unpleasant. I am more than capable of doing so just to breath.
If any of my fellow Brothers and Sisters read this review, avoid this pharmacy for urgent care needs. They can't, won't, are unwilling or unable to help. Find a fax number for your VA Pharmacy and keep that in your wallet. It will save you the headache of dealing with it all. Otherwise, you'll be struggling to breathe for almost a week like me, or worse.

If I could submit a zero star review for the Columbia KY Walmart Pharmacy I would gladly. These people are disrespectful, unwilling to listen, and refuse to accept that they're capable of making mistakes on their end. They now refuse to fill my prescription, and I'm forced to meet with my doctor again to find a better pharmacy. I wish there was a way to contact the pharmacy's employers so that I could personally describe the disgusting, disrespectful, and pathetic behavior that they select to represent themselves.

This pharmacy has been horrible with the new staff members... They got rid of or transferred a couple of the longtime staff that have been there for years. Yet the new staff is just bad, not a pleasant experience anymore, it's so disappointing.

I have to say this is the absolute worst pharmacy in the city. Each time I visit the pharmacy there is an issue. They can not find my order, it is not ready even though I received a text to say that it is ready for pick up. The assistants often question the prescription forgetting that it is not their business. The prescription was written by a medical doctor. One time a lady pharmacist had the nerve to tell me that she watched a movie about the negative side effects of the medication I was prescribed and that I need to reconsider taking it. Honestly the most unprofessional pharmacy I have ever been.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Doctor call in asthma inhaler on Friday, I go to pick it up on Saturday. The lady at the teller tells me when need more information from your doctor. There are issues with the quantity.. I have to wait to Monday. Call my doctor on Monday. Get everything straightened out. They send quantity info over to Walmart. Fast forward to Tuesday I’m at Walmart to pick up and the freaking prescription hasn’t EVEN BEEN FILLED. I GUESS BEING ABLE TO BREATHE LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING IS NO BIG DEAL TO THEM!! 0-10 I do not recommend. Worst pharmacy experience ever!!!

It is a monthly occurrence (every time I attempt to refill my medication) that the pharmacy decides it is going to tell me it "should be in by tomorrow" which is extremely irritating and stupid when I hear it everyday, for a week straight, but I actually forgot about the other npc voiceline, where they tell me that I should call back later and see if it's in later. This wastes so much time of my day because I end up calling in the morning, and before they close. There was not been a single time where I successfully got my prescription after they tell me to wait, and that has something to do with the fact that their orders come in in the morning. These are pharmacists, not comedians, yet they genuinely think they are so funny when they do this. Do not recommend.

I had asked the pharmacist to transfer a prescription that I wasn't going to fill to another pharmacy. This medication was for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes, Mounjaro. I was going to fill the same medication but a lower dose since this higher dose I was transferring was giving me issues, side effects of the medication. The pharmacist transferred the prescription and then took it out of their system and it was seen as being filled by my insurance company even though I had never even picked it up. I had to go without my medication for about a month before I could refill it since my insurance told me that it couldn't be refilled until the 22nd of the month, which was about 3 weeks.
I saw my doctor and got a different prescription, but my diabetes has been very hard to control without this medication I needed. I don't understand why the Head Pharmacist took my prescription out of the system after transferring it. I told her that I was trying to see if I could get it cheaper anywhere else, I didn't say I was going to get it somewhere else. Trying to get my sugar under control has been a nightmare. I have changed pharmacies since. I don't plan on going back to this one after what this Head Pharmacist did.

My insurance would not cover prescriptions filled by Walmart Pharmacy because they were trying to give NON FDA approved drugs. Then they were going to charge me 50% more than GoodRX prices. NOT good for customer service.

Want to know the hours of your local Walmart pharmacy? Good luck! Want to find the phone number for your Walmart pharmacy? Good luck with that, too! Ask Google or other search engine for the number, then call it. (You'll never find it listed on their website or on their app.) Using Internet search seems to be your only option. It's inconceivable to me that their website and their app do not list their pharmacy hours. Frankly, the Walton Family should take the billions they stole from their Walmart employees over the years, and give it all back. Backpay. Retirement benefits. Stocks. Just give it ALL back. P.S. "EAT THE RICH"

It was a abhorrent experience. I was there with my father whom is in very poor health. They treated him so bad I believe it may even qualify as elder abuse. They had I'm sitting there waiting on a medication they didn't even have. Rather than tell him they didn't have they let him/us sit there for over a hour. What a unprofessional bunch. Of folks at the pharmacy at the Walmart neighborhood market 1185 Dollyparton Parkway Sevierville Tennessee 37862. I have switched to another pharmacy. I will not go to this establishment again, they could have at least treated my dad with dignity. I wish I could give them zero stars. It's like the employees are too lazy to do their jobs, do better Walmart. Such a sad day and sight my dad's feet were swollen from his diabetes. And they treat him this way. I am disgusted.

Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had with a pharmacy, when you call in to check on your prescription they put you on hold for a long time, if and when they answer they tell you your meds will be ready in a couple of hours. When you get to the store after a couple of hours they tell you that it will be ready in 30 min, 30 min pass, you go back to the counter, and they tell you that it will be another 20 minutes??? Their customer service is horrible, DO NOT go to this store pharmacy if you value your time, you will only be wasting your time, AVOID THIS PHARMACY AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Before Walmart jumped in to prescription delivery they should have planned it a little more carefully... While the prescriptions are guaranteed, drivers are not. There should be one employee from each Walmart store who's specific duty is to deliver people's prescriptions. Some people can't wait for certain prescriptions that they need now and not a week from now because there aren't the drivers to deliver it. Smarten up Walmart.
