This is now my second ring because I was not happy with the diamond in my first ring. We went back, got a certified diamond, it looked very good. You send the ring out for sizing and when you get it back, it is not the same diamond. I so regret upgrading to a certified diamond. I am sorry, but I do not trust Zales and I never will.

I ordered my husbands wedding ring from their online store (which I regret) and he wore it for a couple of months and started to notice his skin on his ring finger was peeling. Not knowing the exact cause we thought it would be a good ideas to take the ring off and let the skin to heal back and then put it back on. The same thing happened so I called the customer service number to inform them what was going on. I was told to send it back for a refund so I did. Was I shipped it off I called Zales to see if they received the ring back and I was told this time that once it’s processed I would receive the refund back to my bank account.
One week later I receive a E-gift card! I called and spoke to Farrah and was told it’s not their fault that their 10k white gold ring peeled my husbands skin. He’s probably allergic to it!!! Wtf!! I told her if that’s the case I want my money back because I don’t want to order another one of Zales ring and the same thing happen and I explained I have photos! She very rudely said I should be lucky to get a gift card! So now I’m forced to shop with them again with their poor quality rings!! I would never recommend them!

I purchased a diamond bracelet last year, cost me $2400 and I paid $2050 right before the one year contract installment was ended. I was charged $433 two weeks ago without any real communication. If you are charging this big amount you gotta make sure your customer is informed. Instead they prefer to wait the time to charge it. When I called them today to explain the issue. When they sell you they will be nicest on the planet, but when purchased they are like it is what it is.

I went to the Zales at Sangertown Mall, New Hartford, New York to purchase an engagement ring. I walked into the store at 11AM was approved and picked out a ring. The purchase was never completed because the salesperson was on the phone most of the time trying to reset my account because she was not familiar with the procedure. I'm a very patient person as I was in the store till 3PM and finally just said forget it. All this and the fact that we sent a picture to my girlfriend after the second hour had passed because "we are almost done" only to have to tell her that we didn't get the ring because they couldn't figure out the process. Stay away!

So I ordered my fiancé's wedding band online. Got the ring in today and it's not the correct order. I called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do about it today and that it could take up to 21 days for someone to call me to get this order replaced. I'm getting married in less than a week and I asked if they could put a rush on this to get me the ring before my wedding day and was told NO!!! What kind of business is that!?! Zales is a terrible company and myself nor my husband will ever purchase from them again. Not to mention my fiancé bought me a tennis bracelet for Mothers Day last year and the bracelet has spent more time sent off to be fixed than I have got to wear it. I advise everyone to do not buy from Zales. I have always had great experience with Kay's and that will be who I use from now on. As for Zales you can kiss my business goodbye!!!

I purchased a watch for my husband and I did pay off the balance. Zales called me to verified the payment and it was verified. However, they send me some charged with interest again and now over 300 dollars is on my credit and my credit is the lowest ever. They have not removed, it and keep adding interest charges on the balance for something that I have paid off already. This is the most devastating experience I ever had with a company like that. I am asking Zales to remove that delinquent account on my credit. I have spoken to their customer service about this issue but I am not sure if they are working on that. This is not professional at all and for a balance that was already paid off. Worse customer service ever. I do not have words for this type of treatment.

My husband bought me an engagement ring last year for Mother's Day. Ring was beautiful. After 2 weeks I started noticing allergy on my finger. Was dissapointed with this ring. Up to now don't know if it's real or fake. Every time I wore it I get bad allergy. Could it be fake? I try calling them and they keep on saying that it's probably me but come on. I never had an allergic reaction to gold jewelry. Will never buy from them.

My ring was sent out twice for resizing and I’m sure it was worked on by two different people. My ring returned with scratches all over the inside and the band is horribly uneven in the back. This is by far the sloppiest work that I have ever seen in my life. This was supposed to be a special moment and the more I look at the ring the more I hate it because of what they done. I do not understand how a ring that was sent out for 2 weeks returned in this condition. I feel so bad for my FH because he wanted this to be special and Zales has ruined our moment. I wish that he would have gone somewhere else or that I would have taken the ring to a professional jeweler that actually knows what they are doing.

Buy my husband's wedding ring in January. It was really pricey which was fine because I thought I was getting quality. Well he ended up dropping it on our ceramic tile and cause ring to break in 3 pieces. The sales would do nothing about it, told me to contact the maker! Wow! As much money as they make you would think that placing ring would not be that big of a deal. This is just disgusting. I will never do business or refer anyone to them again. I would rather buy a Walmart ring!

In 2008, my wife purchased my wedding ring with a lifetime protection plan at Gordon's in Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem, PA. A few years ago We relocated to NY and shortly thereafter, the store (Gordon's) closed. My ring fell and one of the diamonds went missing. On Sunday 6/2/2019, We went to Zales at Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream to have the diamond replaced. As we entered the store we were greeted with warm smiles and a pleasant welcome from Layla, Sales Associate and Myisha the Assistant Manager. Layla tried to assist us but could not find our information on their system. She gave us the number for Gordons' Customer Service Dept. We spoke to a Gordon's customer service rep but she was of no help whatsoever. The rep told us there was nothing they could do without the original documents.
My wife and I were extremely upset and frustrated that in this age of technology, our information could not be found. As we were about to leave the store Layla said she wanted to check the system again. Her persistence paid off and saved us approximately $200. She found our information and discovered that the telephone number and name in the system were entered incorrectly. She made the correction and updated our data. As we waited, I observed the staff and their interaction with the customers. The Assistant Manager, Myisha, Layla and the rest of the staff were all very pleasant, courteous and professional. We left the store feeling very satisfied with the service we received. Thanks again Layla. You're the best!!!

I contacted Customer Care and I was informed that each item has a different processing time. It varies. This item is not on back order and there is no other reason that could be given for the delay. I have ordered from other jewelry stores online I wanted to take advantage of an item offered by ZALES.com however, this was the first and last time I will deal with this store rather online or in person. My spouse purchased my wedding ring in 2017 along with the “LIFETIME REPAIR WARRANTY.” This evening I took my ring in to be sent away for repair and was told they no longer will honor the warranty and are unable to send it away! I had my ring repaired with them in the past with them with no issue with the warranty. Now, suddenly something we paid for is null and void!? Zales should be refunded customer's money back on the purchase amount of the “lifetime warranty” because apparently, it isn’t what they claim it to be! I will NEVER purchase anything from them again nor will I recommend Zales to anyone!

I purchased a customized mother's ring for my wife on their website 10 days before Mother's Day (their site's deadline for custom orders to be delivered before the day). 5 days later, my transaction is still pending, so I sent an email to their customer service to see if there's some sort of problem. I got a form email in response, stating that they'll respond in 3 to 5 business days.
The next day I call, and talk to a representative that says that my ring is definitely going to be delivered on time, and that the transaction status will change only when the ring ships. Seems reasonable, but if my pizza company can tell me if they're putting toppings on a pizza or if it's in the oven, I think a jeweler can do something similar, but whatever.
The following day, 2 days before Mother's Day (mind you they have my package on delivery with 2nd day air), and I send another message at about 5pm because the ring still hasn't shipped. By 8pm I received my first honest response: the ring is delayed, and may not show up for another 10 days. The reason? They'd had a problem with one of their suppliers. What was missing? Couldn't you have called or emailed to ask if I'd like a substitution? I can be flexible, and with all the customizable options available, I can't imagine I wouldn't have been able to work with them to find something that was available to arrive on time.
Sometimes the perfect gift is the one that just shows up when it's supposed to. My wife likes all 3 shades of gold, we both believe that if a simulated stone looks like a genuine one, it's a fine substitution so long as it's durable. I honestly could've worked with them, but they didn't give me a chance. So they offered me a 10% discount, and an apology. Communication would have been preferred.

My ring was supposed to be delivered today. My fiance answered the door and the UPS guy handed him an empty bubble wrap mailer envelope. He asked the UPS guy what was with the huge slash in the envelope side. No ring. He told him he didn't know so we told him we were refusing the package. So I called Zales and they said they have to do an investigation that can take 2 weeks. They refused to send me another ring or issue a refund. They said I can purchase a discounted loaner to use for the wedding and then return it. I was like, "Are you kidding me? Why would I do that." So they offered a discount on another ring that was available to be shipped in time for the wedding.
I hated them all. I told them I want the same ring I ordered. They said it won't arrive till after the wedding. I ordered it anyways. They couldn't even give me a discount since it was on sale already. Are you kidding me? They offered the discount and then took it back! So yeah I called UPS. They said they have To investigate as well and it will take 2-3 weeks. So basically I'm screwed even though it's between the seller and shipper! My wedding is 12 days from now. Zales said they would try to put the claim as critical since it was for my wedding but they couldn't do anything. They can't even expedite the new replacement ring I paid for. I contacted PayPal and they are holding the payment for the first ring but have to do an investigation as well. So sad that Zales doesn't care at all about how it impacts my wedding day! Never will I purchase from them again!

I have had my ring for 10 years and have had no issues. Just over a year ago, I have it resized and refinished. Now the main diamond has fallen out and they refuse to cover it under the lifetime guarantee. They claim they have no record of ever inspecting the ring in their system, beside the recent work, therefore voiding the contract. So I have no choice but to pay for the repair myself. Which I will, then I will sell the Zales ring and NEVER purchase from them again. Lifetime Guarantee - should be Lifetime Scam. When I go back to review the order in my account it simply states “pending”. Zales does offer two day shipping however when I talked to the rep via chat she stated that my ring would arrive the 15th... That’s not two day shipping. I have no idea when my ring is coming. We looked for 2 months for the perfect engagement ring before finding my ring on the Zales website. I was told they only had 2 left in their entire inventory and it to be shipped store-to-store. When the ring finally came in, it needed to be sent out again to be sized up. On the invoice, the salesman included sizing and tighten loose stones. I waited 3 weeks for my ring to be "repaired."
I got my ring on Saturday and by Monday morning, THREE diamonds had fallen out!!! Of course I called both the local store and national customer service line to complain. My only option is to send it out again for another 3 weeks for them to tighten any loose stones once again and replace the THREE that have fallen out. It is ridiculous that a brand new ring that was sent in for sizing and tightening of lose stones would have THREE diamonds fall out after only wearing it 2 days. I am not a happy or satisfied customer right now. If I didn’t absolutely LOVE this ring, I would definitely return it and find one at another store.

I purchased a diamond ring for my wife at the Zales store in Aurora, Colorado in summer of 2017. I’m not an expert on diamonds, or jewelry in general; however I have a basic understanding of the price of the materials used to make jewelry, and the overhead inherent in the cost of bringing the product to market. The in-store selection at the location seemed to be quite wide, and the saleswoman was able to confidently describe the available items to my wife and help her find what she had in mind.
When my wife decided on a ring which she would enjoy wearing, we were told that we could offset some of the initial cost by opening a Zales credit account with a two-year interest free period. She helped us apply over the phone and even went as far as requesting a credit line increase, which was granted by the credit card’s issuer. The associate then helped us calculate out the requisite monthly payments so as to fall within the two year interest-free window, and stayed with us after the shop’s closing hours until we were ready to leave. She even called the mall security to walk with us to the parking lot after such a large purchase.
The process of setting up payments with Zales’ credit partner, Comenity Bank, left a lot to be desired. The website does not have the option to set up automatic payments, instead allowing for either a one-time payment or a payment within the upcoming thirty days. We found that if a scheduled payment is made immediately ensuing a one-time payment, one of the two will be dropped as the system will overwrite whichever was put in first. This, if left unchecked, will result in a missed payment which triggers a late fee and breaks the conditions for the interest-free credit.
Later it came to our attention that a very large penalty was imposed all at once, as we did not meet the EIGHTEEN MONTH deadline for paying off the installments. We looked through the fine print of the sales agreement and saw that there was indeed no two-year interest-free period as had been told to us by the store associate. The interest and fees caused by having initially calculated two years of payments had effectively increased the sales price of the ring by sixteen percent. There was nothing at that point which could be done, as the verbal agreements never materialized into writing.
If anyone reading this is considering buying jewelry, please take these factors into account before entering into an agreement with a seller- especially the combination of Zales and Comenity Bank. The sheer volume of negative reviews from multiple locations shows that my experience with them should be viewed as an expected outcome of interacting with Zales, as opposed to being a single isolated incident. Do your due diligence and research what you plan on purchasing, as well as whom you might be buying from.

So my soon to be husband proposed to me on 11/21/18. He and I picked out the beautiful Forever Ring. Love the way it looks. A month later, the ring had already started to change color, then on February 6th, I noticed that one of the diamonds was super loose, it was moving around in its setting. I go to the store, and they can't find me or my fiance in the system. Luckily I had a picture of the receipt on my phone that my fiance had sent me before I got there. Otherwise, they would not have helped me at all.
Even though it was within 90 days of purchase, I still had to pay for it to be repaired because my fiance failed to buy a warranty (he didn't think it was necessary) lesson learned the hard way there on his part. And mine. I am mainly upset over the quality of the product and the customer service. I don't know, I just really have a bad taste in my mouth over the company in general. I ended up getting a warranty on my ring myself so that I don't have to pay out of pocket for their poor quality items. We will not ever purchase anything else from this company.

Updated on 03/07/2019: UPDATE: It is now March 7... still no ring. February 13 passed with no phone call. Finally get one and one of the managers tells me the large middle stone in my ring has a crack. Mind you it is not one that can be seen by human eye I am told. But, they wanted me to know this and wanted to know if I still wanted my ring fixed. I said yes I want it fixed! Fast forward to Febuary 28. I get a phone call from the Zales store telling me my diamond has a chip in it asking me if I wanted it fixed. Again I told them yes and that I had told a manager that a week before. I was told no one called and told Zales repair that I said to go ahead and fix it.
I said I was told it had a faint crack in the ring. NO it's a chip from the big stone in the middle. For it to be fixed it has to be sent to corporate since it's a big stone and that could take a while as if 2 plus months is not long enough. I told them to replace the stone missing and send the ring back to Jackson store so I could look at it and decide what I wanted to do. The salesperson on the phone told me they would try to put a rush on it since they had had it so long... Will this ever end! I will NEVER EVER buy anything from Zales. At this point I have had it with Zales.
Original Review: My husband purchased a wedding ring set from Zales 5 years ago for our 25 Anniversary. We purchased insurance. Not long after the ring was ordered closer to one my size and I received it a diamond fell out had it repaired. About a year later another diamond fell out. We do not live anywhere close to Zales so by the time I took it in it had been over 6 months since it had been inspected so I was charged about double what they told me to have it repaired, $140.00. They kept it about a month then called and said it was in Went in to get it had to wait a long time. Then wouldn’t give it to me because their computer system that handled repairs was down. After an hour of them trying to get someone on the phone. I was told to come back tomorrow. Luckily I was staying the night in town since live nowhere near Zales! Went back next day and had to wait.
Finally I got my ring December 16. Ten days later another stone falls out. Take it back 2 days after it fell out. Waited forever to be helped again Told me they would send it to be repaired free of charge and they would tighten all stones. I pointed out I had paid $53.00 for them to just do that. THIs was December 29. Gave me the date of January 19 for estimated pick up but would try to put a rush on it. No rush... called the 19 told me it should get to store the 22. I told them I had no idea when I’d get there to pick it up. Called today February 2 to make sure it was there before I went to get it since I don’t live in Jackson. Couldn’t find my repair name phone number. Nothing put on hold.

I first ordered my ring online. It didn't fit. So I called in and they told me I could get it resized or return and order right size. So I went to the store and found out I can not get it resized and that I had to return it. So I said ok I will return and order the same ring in a different size. She told me you can do that but you don't get the same discount because that sale is over. So I had to call the 1800 number and wait on hold to explain the situation.
After waiting 30 minutes and finally getting to talk to someone. They told me they couldn't do anything so I ask to speak to their supervisor. I then had to wait on hold for another 30 minutes. She finally agrees to help me out. So I order the ring in the store January 1st and was told it would be no later than January 11th. It is now January 11th and I have to call in again to find out where my ring is and they tell me it is still in processing. I ask to speak to a supervisor and they tell me it will be another 3-8 days and not to worry about it? Are you kidding me?

Zales shipped a $700 diamond ring that the post office says was left on the front porch and must of been stolen. Zales says they don't replace stolen orders. I asked why a signature wasn't required and I was told they don't require a signature for anything under $1,000. If they choose not to require a signature that should mean they bear the responsibility for it. They say it's USPS' fault not theirs. But I didn't pay USPS. I paid Zales, they choose USPS to handle the delivery. Very poor customer service and lots of rude people working for Zales.
If you have a similar problem please do file a complaint with BBB, post reviews on Facebook and other website, and dispute the charge with your credit card company. Your credit card company will require Zales to provide proof of delivery and leaving it on the front porch does not prove delivery, a signature is the only actual proof of delivery. You will win the chargeback claim with your credit card. It's a shame Zales makes it customers go to such lengths, they know many people dont know their credit card protects them from such poor business practices.

Saying this, I had gotten the ring the day before... I was very upset I had to give it up for 4 days let alone have her place it on her finger and then be told it won’t be back for 2 weeks.

Updated on 01/04/2019: Recently wrote a review regarding a Zales product I order and tried to cancel while still in processing because I didn't want it shipped. Well guess what, they shipped it. Now if I want to return it I have to pay to return the product and THE CHAIN IS BROKE!!! So happy I only spent 40$ with this scam company. I literally just open the package while I'm still here at work.
Original Review: Whyyyy didn't I read the reviews before ordering. On the 26th, I ordered online an necklace 47.39, on the 30th I chatted asking why haven't my order been shipped when I selected 2 day shipping. I was told they have a 7-10 day processing before orders are shipped. No problem. I didn't read that during checking out, so I stated, "That's too long for a 40$ necklace". I wanted to cancel my order. They stated they will submit a cancelation ticket and that I'll receive an email. Never got a email. I check today the order still states processing, I started a online chat asking now why isn't my order canceled, now I'm being told the cancelation is in a queue due to the holiday season.
Something told me go check Zales reviews and I now see hundreds if not thousands of comments dealing with this same thing. I asked the person with the order still stating processing, "What happens if the order I'm telling you right now to cancel while it's still in processing is shipped". Their response is, "You will have to follow the return order procedure," meaning I will have to pay to have the order shipped back and then wait for their return department to okay the return, and then wait an certain amount of days to receive my money back. I'm so happy it's only 40$ I spent here and not hundreds or thousands. I Will NEVER buy anything from here again. I don't see how SIGNET Jewelers let the type of stuff go down. You own Kay Jewelers and Jared as well. Why are they ran way smoother.

On December 17 I bought a pair of Sterling Silver earrings for my girlfriend. I brought them home, put them under the tree, and on Christmas day she opened the package and tried them on. One of the earrings fell out of her ear within minutes of putting it on. She picked it up and up and looked to see what might be wrong. It was apparent that the clasp of the earring that fell off was out of alignment. We went to the store today to get the clasp fixed.
The salesperson that worked with us looked at the earring, recognized what was wrong with the clasp, informed us she didn't have another pair in stock, so she could not offer a swap for a working pair, but she could help us get the faulty one repaired. She asked for my receipt. I had to inform her that I had left it home (I live 80 miles north of the store), but that I bought it within the last several days, could she look up the receipt. She tried to no avail. Then my girlfriend asked her why the receipt was required. We both understand this is standard procedure, but we thought as long as she acknowledged that it was one of their products, we brought it back in the original Zales packaging, and we were just looking to get a clasp adjusted (how difficult can that be?), why couldn't they just fix the clasp?
We she told us why. She was checking to see if we purchased a warranty (which I didn't). She explained that without the warranty we would be charged for the repair. I explained that the earrings were just purchased and didn't operate properly from the moment they were removed from the box. She repeated that without a warranty there would be a charge for repair. How can a company fail to correct a product that was faulty at the time of sale? I couldn't exactly try them on when I bought them and ensure they operated correctly. I was steamed the entire one hour and twenty minute ride home. I will never use Zales again. I will encourage all my friends to avoid doing business in the Zales stores. If I could have given Zales a review value less than one star, I would have.

I ordered an engagement ring last week. The ring was perfect. I'm not exactly what you would consider wealthy. So I saved for about 3 months to get enough to buy the ring that I wanted. It was the perfect fit. Everything was going great. I was going to seal the deal Xmas morning while we opened presents. I was going to surprise her. I was on track to have the best Xmas of my 35 years of life.
The order went through online. 2-day shopping. I couldn't have it delivered home or it would ruin the surprise. I live in Anaheim and it had to be shipped to Lakewood Mall which was 40 mins away. It arrived on time. I went today to the Zales store and told the associate I was there for an online pickup. I waited for about 10 mins. As I looked at all the jewelry while waiting I just had the best feeling ever. I was so happy that the ring I chose was ready to go and that tomorrow was going to be a milestone in my life...
It was the wrong ring. The associate apologized over and over and told me there was nothing they could do at the store and that I would have to take it with me then contact customer service to resolve the situation. I was speechless. I couldn't even say anything without my eyes getting watery. This ** was pissing me off. I am so lost right now. I can't even sleep tonight. I'm undecided if I should still go through with the proposal tomorrow with the wrong ring. Then just explain the situation. She is very understanding. But this is some real B.S. because a moment like this should be perfect. Now I got to wait until Xmas is over to contact Zales customer service. DEVASTATED.

Good Evening, I am a long time customer of Zales. I have been going to Zales in Menlo Park, NJ in the mall. I wanted to purchase a new wedding band for my husband for Christmas. I went to the store early November with our daughter to choose his ring. My daughter choose the ring she wanted and I purchase it right away and wanted it Engraved with her name and DOB inside. Everything went smoothly for that transaction. I was called in a few weeks later that the ring has arrived and once I went the ring was not noticeable to view the engraving. My original sales rep Danielle who was amazing the entire time send the ring back to get the engraving fix. Another week I was called in and arrive again the engraving was bad. Danielle was out sick during this time. So the other sales rep and the assistant manager help reorder a new ring online for the THIRD time to get it engraved by the manufacture.
Finally I was praying THIRD time is a charm I get the called again to come get the ring. I go to the store and no engraving on the ring. Now I am trying to hold my composure and be patient about the situation going back and forth to the store. Danielle called a Zales rep by the name of Lauren who supposedly doing a new rush order to get the ring fix over the phone and reissue a gift card to get it straighten out. This was December 18th, 2018. Now today is December 20th as I arrived home I have a package waiting. Open the box up a new fresh ring with no ENGRAVING. THE FOURTH RING AND ISSUE STILL WASN'T FIX. ALL I WANTED WAS A NOTICEABLE ENGRAVING SOMETHING I PAID FOR.
Now I am livid. I call the store and spoke to "LIZ" the STORE MANAGER. I never met her once during this whole situation at all. Never came to greet meet and tell me we will get this fixed nothing. Her sales rep did everything which I appreciate but, as a store manager now it has been a few times same error you should step in. She got nerve to tell me there is nothing she can do about it and I WENT OFF. I said, “You know about the situation but, you can't fix it knowing I have paid for it and you sit here telling me you are sorry. I do not want to hear you are sorry. I need an engraved ring for Christmas that I ** pay for.” She had no empathy. Told me we been on the phone for 30 mins and we were on the phone for 5 mins and 39 seconds. Felt like she didn't care knowing this ring has a lot of meaning behind it and was brushing me off and tell me if I curse she will hang up.
YES I AM CURSING AT THIS POINT BECAUSE IT KEEPS GETTING MESS UP AND I PAID IN FULL FOR IT. They got their money worth and I got the ** end of the stick. I will no longer do business with Zales for that "Liz" store manager lack of empathy customer service. Telling me she’s been around the whole time. Tells me she call her district manager and told me to call the customer service number over the phone. With no tracking number being received, I decided to call them. I was told it is going to ship on the 20th. That leaves 4 days to get it to the store and for me to pick it up. It's a heart pendant with a lab created sapphire in the middle. I purchased a new and different chain for about $35 dollars, only to discover a week later that it is now missing a gem. I have barely even worn it! Now onto the ring, it was silver with a rose gold rhodium. The rhodium rubbed off completely in about 3 weeks. Takes 2 weeks to get it redone. Every. Single. Time. My husband bought me a beautiful diamond pendant necklace and a diamond tennis bracelet from Zales. The chain it came with was cheap, typical because they want you to come back and spend more money. So, I went in to get a more durable chain and to get the pendant soldered to it. Figuring my husband had an account at Zales I did not bring any paperwork. When they looked us up in the system all they could find was the bracelet purchase. You would think a national company would have a decent computer system to look up their customers' transactions in this day and age. My husband had to come to the store and after a lengthy question and answer session magically the transaction was found.
So, they sent the pendant in with my new chain to get soldered and 2 months later it comes back looking hideous. It had two hoops off to the side to connect the chain. I had to send it back to have them remove the hoops. Two months later I get it back and it was decent enough. A little crooked but at this point I'm done. This was all 2 years ago. So, the diamond fell out and luckily I found it on my bathroom counter.
I took it to Zales to see if they could fix it, not bringing my paperwork because there is no way they won't be able to find it after the last experience and guess what???? They have no record of it. All of the other transactions are listed but not the necklace. Again, how can a national company have such a crappy computer system. I spoke with customer service management and they informed me that it is outlined in the terms and conditions but it is not necessary for them to contact their customers to notify them that their account will be closed or has been closed.
This is horrible customer service and bad business. The representative asked what I would like for him to do for me and I told him that I would like for my account to be reopened, he informed me that he could not re-open it but I was more than welcome to reapply. I responded by saying that I should not have to do that seeing as how I already had an account with them and it was closed without my knowledge. Super disappointed.

I would like to begin this review by stating if I could give zero stars I would. Around the middle of May 2018, my girlfriend (now fiance) and I went to Zales located in Waldorf, Maryland. My girlfriend found a really nice ring for a great price. The woman working proceeded to size her finger and stated she needed a 7 1/2. Well we left that day feeling great because I knew this was the ring she wanted and I was going to go back later and purchase it. I proceeded to go back to this location a week later and purchase the ring, but they didn't have it in stock anymore so they had to order it. The manager Kevin stated it would take a week for the ring to come in and about two weeks to get it sized.
Please keep in mind I let Kevin know the ring needed to be a 7 1/2. I planned on proposing in mid-June. I was able to get the ring back the week before we went to Ocean City so I was satisfied and excited for the big day to happen. Well the day came and I proposed in front of our entire family on the beach and needless to say it was romantic. BUT... when I went to slide the ring on it was loose and when I say loose it was ready to fall off. The ring was able to freely rotate around her finger. I was extremely pissed off. She wasn't able to wear the ring due to the fear of it falling off. While we were still out in Ocean City we took the ring to another jewelry store and had it sized and guess what? It was a 8 1/2. I could see 7 3/4 and maybe 8... but 8 1/2.
I called the store in Waldorf and spoke to Kevin and he said to bring it in with a copy of the warranty. About a week later we went in and spoke to Kevin. Well this guy states to my fiance that sometimes it gets sized to big that it just happens. What a bull crap response. Also he stated it was a good thing I got the warranty so they can send it out to get resized. Well excuse me but you morons sized it wrong in the first place. If I didn't have the warranty they would have charged me for the resizing. I tell Kevin, "Well while it's getting resized please send it out for appraisal." Kevin stated it would be about two weeks for the appraisal and two weeks for the resize. Well three weeks go by and the ring still wasn't back from appraisal. My fiance calls and this Kevin character tells her, "I'm sorry if you misheard me it takes about a month.
This Kevin guy is a joke and shouldn't be allowed to manage a bowl of cereal. His customer service skills are horrible. He has continued to make excuses and be untruthful with me and my fiance. The ring finally got back from appraisal today but will be out for another two weeks for sizing. I spend thousands of dollars for her not to have her ring for over two months. Not acceptable by any means. We haven't been able to take our engagement photos or have our engagement party. We have had to reschedule both and lost deposits for both. I will not be paying for the appraisal and I will be in contact with my legal counsel to pursue litigation for the loss of the deposits and mental pain and suffering my fiance has incurred because of this stressful situation. I will never use Zales again.

I purchased a gold wedding band from Zales through a discount they were having. I was sent the wrong ring size, so I followed the directions exactly in returning the ring to get the right size. After waiting about 4 weeks and hearing nothing, and not receiving my ring, I called the main customer service. I was told I would not be receiving another ring because I did not email the customer service center before sending in the wrong size ring with a request to get the right size. I was told the discount I had revived would also not be given back to me if I were to purchase the right size. I asked to speak with the manager of the girl I was speaking to, AND SHE HUNG UP ON ME after putting me on hold multiple times.
I called back a second time and was put on hold for about 20 minutes 3 different times, the 4th time I asked the girl what her manager's name was and she refused to tell me... And told me her manager was too busy and did not have time to talk to me and I would just have to call back another day. She then tried to put me on hold again. I stopped her and said, "No. Do not put me on hold AGAIN!" She said ok, and then continued to put me on hold. After about 10 min of being on hold again I hung up and called back. After multiple times of asking the girl I was speaking with who her manager was she told me her manager was not a girl and that is all she could tell me.
I continued to ask and finally got her manager's name, Dan **... She refused to tell me his boss's name, saying he was the main guy. I still have not revived my ring, and I have NEVER HAD SUCH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I RECOMMEND THAT NOBODY DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! I will continue to fill out more reviews on every page I can find. I do expect a reply from Zales, I do expect them to honor their deal, and I do respect my ring (the right size) and I do expect Zales to handle this in an honest and honorable way, because this is ridiculous!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM ZALES JEWELERS!!! My boyfriend bought me a necklace and cross with my birthstone in it for a gift at the Zales in Gulfview Mall in Port Richey, FL. He paid more that $200.00 for it and according to them it was a bargain price! This week the larger of the stones fell out and 3 of the 4 smaller stones were loose. I took the necklace back to Zales with the receipt and they refused to fix it for free and the price they wanted to charge me was close to $100.00! As I kept asking why they didn't stand by their product etc., they kept pushing me to purchase insurance on it for $129.95 telling me that no matter how many times it breaks it will be fixed for free. I declined. No matter what I said they answered with buying the insurance. The prices, quality, and customer service at Zales leaves a lot to be desired and I will never step foot in another Zales.

I purchased a rose gold crisscross ring with tiny diamonds along the top "X" of the ring. Within 3 months of purchase, I noticed 2 of the tiny stones had fallen out of their settings. It might not be obvious to anyone glancing at the ring, but since I take care of my jewelry, I noticed it while I was admiring the ring in the light. I could see an area that looked dark and was not sparkling like the rest of the ring. I contacted Zales by email and told them 2 stones fell out and I didn't even have the ring for 3 months yet! I submitted my customer number and date of purchase to prove my case.
I asked if I could bring the ring back to any Zales store with a printout of my purchase (I ordered the ring online from Zales) and have them replace the missing stones for free. I was told, "No. You can bring it for repair, but you will be charged for the repair." I then asked, "What if I ship it back to Zales? Will you replace the stones, or send me a new ring that is NOT defective?" Again, I received an emphatic "NO" from Zales, again repeating that I would have to bear the cost of the repair. This is VERY POOR customer service; as I have never purchased anything that was DEFECTIVE before without getting some sort of cooperation, replacement offer, or free repair from the company that sold me the defective merchandise. I decided not to pay to have the ring repaired, and wear it with the missing stones.
Today... I noticed yet ANOTHER diamond was missing from the setting! This is what prompted me to write this review as a WARNING to anyone considering buying jewelry from these swindlers! Worst piece of jewelry I have ever purchased from a place that calls itself a "jewelry store!" I have similar-styled rings (costume jewelry) that I purchased from other stores that I wear all the time, and these "cheaper" rings have never lost a stone yet! I learned a few lessons from my Zales ring purchase: 1) Zales peddles inferior quality jewelry; 2) fake/costume jewelry is cheaper and better quality than the expensive JUNK they sell in Zales; and 3) Zales has ZERO interest in keeping a customer satisfied; therefore, sabotaging their own reputation, business, and chance of having repeat clients. They DESERVE to go out of business.

I ordered my engagement ring from Zales. They sent me 2 rings and charged me twice. I had to return to the store because customer service is based overseas and do not know how to help. I was told it would take 30 days for my money to be credited back to my account. Took ring to be cleaned and asked about it being sized. Apparently the warranty only includes diamonds. That would cost extra. After they were done cleaning my ring mysteriously "lost" a diamond. When I told them they suddenly couldn't find my warranty. I present my copy of the warranty. Suddenly their excuse was that I had to get my ring cleaned every six months.
I had and they tried to argue that it wasn't cleaned in time, I presented the other document I got and all of the sudden they would get it fixed. I called a week later to get my ring, they said it would take three weeks. I sure wasn't told that when they sent it out. Well three weeks have passed, now all of the sudden it could take up to 4 weeks, needless to say I will be taking to another jeweler to make sure the diamonds have not been switched. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO ZALES.

I purchased a ring online late at night, I realized I purchased the wrong one. I called the customer service number to cancel and they were closed. So I waited till the next morning and called them at 8 am Central time when they opened. The CSR I spoke to said she will send a high priority to cancel. Over a week later after all this I get an email stating the ring is shipped?! I received the ring and called Customer Service again... They tell me to take it to a store to return it. So I do, nearest store to me is over an hour away. I drive there and find out I cannot return it to a store because the item was cancelled... they called customer service and they wouldn't do anything of course.
Now I'm on the phone again for the second time and I asked to speak to a supervisor. Well they kept telling me no. I don't need to speak to one, the manager yells at me saying I made the mistake of ordering the wrong ring so it's my fault. But they sent me a cancelled order... Finally after an hour I get a hold of a supervisor who apologized and said I would get a shipping label to send the item back within 3-5 days. Its been a week and still haven't received it. So again I call the customer service number. I get yelled at by the CSR saying that I need to return it to the store and that the supervisor never said they would send me a shipping label. When I ask to speak to the supervisor again he tells me NO. Now I'm on hold, have been on hold for 30 mins now. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! This is a nightmare, worst mistake on buying from this company.

Zales cheated me out of $180. I returned a pair of (silver) earrings I had gotten as a gift. They broke within 2 hours of putting them on and were very cheaply made. Flimsy even. The invoice said I needed to send them back within 60 days for an exchange and the order date on the invoice said April 6, 2018. Okay, so I had to get them to Zales by June 5, 2018, right? Easy enough.
Wrong. They arrived the morning of June 5th (I tracked it) and I specifically said on the paperwork I wanted an exchange. I was never notified of my exchange being processed so I called this morning. The representative said "Oh we are processing a refund." Not only did he concede their return instructions were wrong, but he didn't even bother to help me change it! However, he did confirm they were processing the refund and he noted I made a complaint on my order, so I hung up. Then, this evening Zales customer service called and said "We won't be processing your refund because we didn't receive the order within the 60 day period." After they had confirmed everything was okay.
I called them back with the invoice in hand and said "Look, these were a gift. The invoice CLEARLY states this order was placed on 4/6/18 and based on the info your system provided to me, I complied. Your company even admitted they gave me the wrong instructions and I still managed to get it to the right people on time." Customer service proceeded to tell me that regardless of the fact they gave me false information and the invoice they gave me was wrong and I did comply with the rules based on the false info they gave me that they would not give me a refund. They then said I could speak to a manager and put me on hold for 30 minutes which made me waste over 90 minutes of my life today on the phone with customer service to only get told that Zales could not care less about their customers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT Zales.

Reason for review is diamonds sold as being 1 Carat actually .80 carat. PLUS were sold as being a thirty (30%) Sale for Christmas. They were supposed to be $10,000 value on sale for $6500. I brought them to a trusted appraiser in Glenwood Springs to be told guess what? Diamonds value was $6500. So Sale was BS. NOT SALE and this on top of the diamond earrings weight being 20% short. They are a criminal operation and I’m curious how with the rating they have via Consumer Affairs how they continue to be in business??? Who allows this?
Then We begin the process of returning them. NIGHTMARE where each and every time I called was forced to (No choice) speak to a different employee who refused to give me a direct phone number or employer provided email or fax or any way to continue with the complaint and the progress of the solution and the email string of the complaint so as to render one hopeless with needing to start from scratch with each employee FROM ZERO each and every time one tried to follow through.
The company MO seems to be designed to exhaust any complaining customer to the point of defeating the most tenacious of us. Then let’s move on to the bank Zales uses to finance their sales. Comenity Bank and we have strangely the very same MORE complaints. No extensions no email address no fax number NO WAY TO EVER CONNECT WITH THE EMPLOYEE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE HELPING YOU RESOLVE YOUR ISSUES. NONE. After filing a dispute with them as product was 20% smaller than sold the bank proceeded to post 30 and 60 day late status on my credit report. I called back to fix this and after a whole afternoon on the phone they (William **) assured me he would have the derogatory late payments removed and have a letter sent to explain this to anyone who might possibly considering extending us credit for anything.
Long story short! No letter has yet arrived and to add insult to injury today I received an email from Credit Karma to tell me that the same Bank for Zales or Comenity Bank reports a 90 day late so by now my credit score has been savaged for 700 to 540 and we just happen to be moving from Colorado to Washington and you guessed it. We cannot rent a House never mind buy one. We are screwed. I am seeking a connection to a Banking Lawyer to take on this monster. While I was in the Glenwood Springs office saw Spanish clients at the sales counter with sales rep Anakaren going on about Bonita this and Bonita that and I just felt so sorry for the poor customer.

3 4 5. I purchased a 2 carats tennis bracelet in 2006 from Zales. I wore it a couple of weeks for the first time in a while; I noticed that a diamond had fallen out. The next day immediately brought it into the store to have the diamond replace using my diamond bond. One of the workers sent my bracelet off to have the diamond replaced and that was the beginning of this nightmare. My bracelet was sent off on 2/14/2018 and it didn't arrived back to the store until 3/14/2018 without the diamond being replaced. The diamond was not replaced with the diamond bond because the jeweler refused to replace the diamond because the bracelet has porosity in the metal which will caused the diamonds to keep falling out which is a manufactured defect.
Now, mind you I purchased this bracelet in 2006 at $602 which now today's gold price has triple. The assistant manager promise me that she would make sure that I'm accommodate for my bracelet. Well of course after a few days the story changed once the manager got involved, she told me that since I only paid $602 dollars for my bracelet that she did not have another 2 carats priced at that amount she only had bracelets starting at $2900 and up but if I wanted to go down a carat she had a 2 carats that she could give me for $700 or send it to the local jeweler and have a stone put in. I was getting upset by the minute because I felt disrespected and stupid. I have purchased several pieces from Zales and never had any problems. I also felt if I was a different ethnicity that this situation would not have escalated. However, I really loved my bracelet and I didn't want to take any chances with more diamonds falling out.
I spoke with the district manager who also made me feel inadequate and dumb because she was asking me inconsiderate questions. She told me she would check into the matter and call back and guess what she never called back. I found a 2 carats white gold bracelet online which was on clearance for $1900 with an additional 10% off. The salesperson told me she had to get it in from another store and she wasn't sure if it could be ordered in yellow gold since every piece of jewelry I have is in yellow gold. Then she told me she could only give me an additional $100 off, that's not even Louisiana taxes. I ended up with a brace in Layaway with a balance of $1100 because it wasn't in my budget to spent monies for jewelry at this time. Unbelievable, someone really needs to take a look at how Zales treats their customer and handles transactions. I will send another email to the parent company (Signet Jewelers).

I looked online and found that I could return the ring to a store vs. mailing it back so I did even though the store was 45 miles away. Of course while there, they pressured me to buy something else and just to get through the process I agreed to set aside a ring that I could come back and purchase after the credit was received on my Zales card (it takes 3.5 days to get the credit back on the account even though the debit goes on immediately).
In the meantime, I found a ring online that I liked better so I told them I would not be picking up the ring at the store. It's February 13th and they are still advertising "Guaranteed delivery by Valentine's Day" yet I ordered something on February 9th an hour after their cutoff (3 PM instead of 2 PM) so they didn't ship it until 2/12. UPS says I won't get it until the end of the day on Valentine's day (at which point I will be returning it and shopping elsewhere because of the poor customer service that followed).
The customer service rep himself understood the poor advertising and tried to get an appeasement from his manager who refused. She told me once they hand it off to UPS, it's not their business. I asked them, "Why does your site say "Guaranteed Delivery" instead of "Guaranteed Shipping"?" I also asked what kind of shipping they used and they said 2-Day UPS. So how could they still be advertising on 2/13 guaranteed delivery by 2/14?
Mine was "shipped" apparently on the 12th and apparently, by their ad, even if you order a day later - it'll be delivered by 2/14. Then they tell me, even though it's the end of the day it'll be supposedly delivered by, technically it will still be Valentine's Day - huh? Who wants something by the end of the holiday? If I order something for Christmas, you think I want it at the end of Christmas day? The deal-breaker was the manager's callousness, and unwillingness to provide any type of understanding or appeasement.
Jewelry stores make most of their business around holidays and if they can't be clear around and whether something will be delivered by the holiday, or feel that shipment time is not their responsibility, then they shouldn't be making any type of delivery guarantees. I'll be returning this and shopping elsewhere. I hope others do the same.

If there was a way to rate them with (0) stars that is what they would get. Sorry this might be a little long but worth the read. I wish I would have read the reviews before this nightmare started. My fiance purchased me a diamond ring from the Zales store in Muncie, Indiana on 4/22/2017. Liked the ring when I looked at it, hate the ring now. So we paid cash for the ring and it was quite pricey. (7) days later we were back in because a diamond fell out of one of the bands. They said it would take about 4-6 weeks and I wasn't going without a ring. So we told them to send in a ring and have it sized and solder the other bands to the ring. So we waited another 2 weeks or so for the 2nd ring. No phone calls from anyone. Had to keep checking in time to time.
So we called one day and they said the ring was in so we went in to look at it. When we got there they took it out and wanted me to look at it. They kept trying to get us out the door while I was inspecting the ring. As I was looking at it. There was a diamond missing on the halo. They were like no way. Let me look at it. I don't see it missing. Then they were trying to feel around for the diamond on the countertop. IDIOTS. Then they were trying to piece my ring I had on together with the other ring. I said NO. So instead of sending that ring in they sent in another ring to get sized and soldered. So then we had to wait for the 3rd ring. When the 3rd ring came in, I looked at it and I noticed a very large carbon spot on the large center diamond. The first 2 rings had no carbon spots and this one did. I asked the lady what it was and she said nothing and tried getting me out of the store.
So at this point we are pissed and want our money back. The store Manager (Steve) would not give us our money back. We were on vacation and went past the 60 days by 48 hours. We were told by someone in the store that it was ok to bring it in. Steve was very unprofessional and extra rude and sarcastic. He called his district Manager (Ray) who when we walked back into the store from getting off the phone with customer service complaining about the service we had and issues we were having. We overheard them on the phone making fun of us. So this has been a battle we are still to this day dealing with. Customer service is a joke. We had opened a case and for 4 months or so we had a lady we were talking to and paperwork we sent her.
All of a sudden in November 2017 she went on a leave of absence and someone else was dealing with our case. That lady did not get with us. So did nothing. She said she would have to do everything over and talk to the district Manager (Ray). Then when she did . She did nothing. She said, "We can't do anything for you. Case closed..." What the **. Then yesterday went back into the store and were basically rushed out of the store by Steve. Called customer service and they said they would send a gift card.. I don't want a ** gift card. Case has been reopened again. Worse service from a jewelry company. We are a hard working middle class family that had money saved for this special day. We paid $3200 cash that day and now I don't even wear the ring hardly that much. Beware buyers. This company does nothing for no one. They SUCK and they should go out of business.

2 years ago I inherited my grandmother's ring. I took it to Zales to have it cleaned and inspected since it's about 30 years old. I was informed that the prongs needed replaced to make sure I didn't lose one of my stones (2 sapphires and a ruby). I chose to do that since I wanted to wear it and I really value this ring. I paid $250 to get new prongs and I wear it semi-regularly. Yesterday my ruby fell out. I have no idea where it is. I took it to Zales since I had the work done to prevent this outcome.
I was told there was a 6 month guarantee and the prongs wear down when you wear them every day. These are new prongs and should have lasted for many years. After all the first prongs lasted 30 years. My heart is broken. I have so very few things from my bio family and now I have one less. I have done business for many years with Zales and have had good experiences for the most part but I cannot believe that Zales is telling me that their jewelry isn't made to last 2 years. Of course they will be happy to sell me a replacement ruby. I am so disappointed in Zales.

I bought my wife a Medical Alert Bracelet in May of 2016 from Zales online. After several weeks it finally arrived and looked great and had her medical situation engraved on the back. Within a few months we could tell that the engraving was starting to fade. A year later the engraving is completely gone which makes the bracelet worthless. Since we did not purchase the protection plan we were told by Zales customer service that there was nothing that they could do about replacing it. We took it to our local store and they agreed with us that the bracelet should not have faded off and that it was defective but there was nothing they could do because it was an online purchase. We are so thru with Zales.

IT'S A LONG STORY BUT IT IS SO WORTH THE READ: Please read this if you're thinking of buying from Zales because you will change your mind!! So my fiancé proposed to me in May of 2017 with a ring that he purchased from Zales. The ring was too big and I originally put a ring guard so I could wear it for a while before having it sized. We then had a vacation scheduled so I figured perfect time to drop it off and have it sent out for sizing and I’ll pick it up when we get back. So they stated 4-6 weeks for the sizing, no problem. Then when the ring arrived I received no call that it was in the store, I had to call them and they said “Yea it’s here”. Ok fine. But then... THE DIAMONDS STARTED FALLING OUT (4 diamonds to be exact) so when I brought the ring back the first girl said it’s because I’m “banging my hand around all day”. -_- Why would you even assume that? And no I don’t, I sit at a desk all day.
So fine, their answer is to send it back to the “Diamond Center” to have the diamonds put back in and the settings adjusted so it won’t happen again. So another 4-6 WEEKS pass and yet again no one calls me to tell me my ring is back. So I call, the ring is there, then I go pick it up. Within 1 weeks a new diamond falls out! Now I’m pissed off! So yet again we bring the ring back, now the rep states that it’s because I had the ring sized that it affects the setting of the diamonds and that’s why they fall out. -_- NOW IF YOU KNEW THAT WAS A POSSIBILITY WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME THAT FROM THE BEGINNING!
So NOW they send it back again to the “Diamond Center” to have the diamond put back in. Now another 406 weeks pass and I go pick up my ring AGAIN! GUESS WHAT HAPPENED! In less than 24 hours the same diamond fell out! SO NOW I AM BEYOND FURIOUS! My fiancé and I go back to the store and now we speak to the manager. She states that she’s “so sorry and that my next option (which should have been the first option) is to special order the ring in my size” so that the settings will never be adjusted and therefore the diamonds will not fall out. So this option sounded appealing and smart although it should have been offered to me from the very beginning you know, sizing, ring guards, or special order. But that’s not the point, so now the special order takes 6-8 WEEKS!
So now we are in January 25th of 2018!!! I sent the ring to be special ordered in November, for those of you good at math it’s going on more than 8 weeks now! So I’ve been calling every week and the ring isn’t there yet. Now I’m INFURIATED!!! So the manager investigated further and calls me today to tell me that the vendor they use for special orders has rejected my ring order due to the fact that they do not make that ring! So almost 9-10 weeks later and NOW YOU'RE TELLING ME THE RING IS NOT EVEN COMING! So their only option left was to tell me to come back to the store and pick out another ring??? NOOO WAY!
I want nothing to do with this entire corporation! This has been by far the worst experience of my life. In 3 months it’ll make a year that I’ve been engaged and I’ve worn the ring a few days out of this entire time! My entire engagement has been ruined and it’s embarrassing. There’s no way my order got rejected and it took them 9 weeks to find out!!! I should have been notified sooner and not left here thinking my “special order” is coming and it’s not. So now we are back at square one having to get a whole different ring almost a year later! I’m sorry this was so long but DO NOT EVER BUY FROM ZALES!

I ordered a few gifts for my boyfriend‘s family for Christmas on December 3rd and was promised delivery by Christmas Eve. The necklaces I ordered came on January 18th, this past Thursday instead, nearly a month after they were promised. To compensate for this embarrassment, Zales sent me a gift card, with which I bought this ring. Well, they put me through hell for this ring, especially in the pickup process, for which they were very rude, uninformative, and did not even give me a box to take it out of the store in. It was finally ready to be picked up, and I got it the morning of January 20th. The band looks like it was put in a ** blender and is completely tarnished on top of that.
For a brand new ring to look this way, plus all the other stuff I’ve had to deal with, including countless calls to their customer service department, is embarrassing and shameful and I will never be shopping here again. This ring was very sentimental to me and it came to me ruined. I posted a very similar review on Zales's Facebook page three days ago, the same day I had picked up the ring and noticed that its condition was grossly unacceptable. They responded to me that day after the post started gaining some attention on their page and promised, "truly sorry," that they would have someone reach out to me "as soon as possible." After three days and multiple inquiries, I still have not heard anything. This is a slap in the face and a ** way to treat customers. It is unfair that they can get away with doing business under these circumstances.

I call again the next day & it’s the same old song. Don’t even bother utilizing the online chat option. It’s useless. On December 22nd, I FINALLY received a shipping confirmation, 12 whole days later. I go to the website and the status still says pending. I even went to my local Zales where it is supposed to be delivered and they called the store support number, all they can tell them was it will be shipped out by the 21st.
Well, today is the 22nd, still not shipped. I just spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with customer service, yet again, for the same answers. The man who answered wouldn't give him any information because I was the one who placed the order. Seriously? You don't need to verify birthdate or SSN, what's the deal? So he promised a callback. When he called back, he told me that my husband was rude to him (which I don't blame him because that's the most ridiculous policy ever) and told me that there was no update because they require 2 business days for processing (keep in mind that it's been 4 business days at that point), that my order "should ship out on 12/20 or 12/21" and "the latest you will receive the item is 12/22".

I did receive one of the two rings on November 20, 2017, and the ring was absolutely hideous. When I called to inquire where the other ring was I was told that it would not be shipped for 3-4 weeks. As for the second ring, that they have not shipped yet, I was told that I could not cancel my order and would not have the funds released on my account until I receive the ring THAT I DO NOT WANT.
Also, I was told by a customer service manager that I could go to my local retail location for a loaner ring, and when I told the retail location about this they had no clue as to what I was talking about. It's been 6 with still no word, still have to wait for shipping, and have to send it off for 2 more weeks to get it resized. I should've gone to Jared's.

Recently I purchased a pair of diamond earrings at Zales in Sebring Florida. After a couple of weeks I decided I wanted to return them and I had never worn them. The man in the store told me, "No way!!!" When I showed up for my six months check-up to keep the warranty a very nice lady helped me. I told her they had never been worn so did not need cleaning. Of course she asked WHY. I explained I had returned them for a refund and the man employee in the store told me that was not possible. This sweet lady explained to me that any purchase could be returned for a full refund up to 30 days after the purchase. I was LIVID!!! Now... The 3rd store has closed that were in my area. Bradenton, Pt. Charlotte and Sebring. So I have to travel a great distance to get a refund on 4 warranties that I bought on jewelry. Corporate told me I would get a refund. Wonder what the Lakeland locations will tell me whenever I get to that???

I have had nothing but bad experience with Zales. My fiancé bought me a ring enhancer for my engagement ring, within the first month of having it a diamond fell out while getting it cleaned at the store. Not only was I mad that a diamond went missing in the first month of having it, the lady who was cleaning my ring made it out to be like it was already missing come to find out the diamond to my ring was found on the bottom of the cleaning machine. Then when I finally got my ring back they tried charging me for the damages they caused to my ring. A month and a half after getting my ring back two more diamonds go missing. I've had my ring for a total of 3 and a half months and already have had 3 diamonds go missing. Not impressed with Zales one bit. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I wish I would of known how crappy this place was. Otherwise I would of went elsewhere.

I have been a customer with Zales for over 20 years; so needless to say I am a VIP member. But nevertheless my husband and me had gone into Zales here in Dallas at the mall in Frisco TX; three weeks ago to have three rings of mine repaired. Initially when we walked Into Zales it was crowded with lots of customers which we had no issues with waiting our turn. All the associates were busy helping other customers so we waited patiently not saying a word. The manager who I did not know was a manager at the time because I have been going to the store over nine years, she was just a regular customer service worker at Zales. I have worked with her before never did my husband or myself have any issues with Laura or something like that I just know her name started with an L and she is the manager now.
She got done helping a customer but remind you she looked dead at my husband and me and rolled her eyes. So while walking passed us she than purposely try to overlook my husband and myself; Here I am thinking I am just there to drop off my 3 rings to be repaired. We both wanted to get in and out. No it wasn't that simple. This Laura lady or whatever her name is put her head in the air walked right passed my husband and I and began helping a older ** couple that walked into the store way after we did. When the older gentlemen brought it to her attention she continued to ignore his statement that we were there before them and she said where we could hear her "they are being helped already now what can I do to help you." I was so mad at this point I could have made a scene but I didn't.
I continue with my dignified composure and started looking for the corporate branch phone number. Now to speed my story alone my husband said he was going to take the lead on this situation. He told me to stay calm. So the next week which was Monday he called to speak with a manager at the headquarters of Zales. He was told sorry over and over. They were going to send us a gift card worth 200 dollars. Remind you again over the 20 years we have done business with Zales we haven't had any real issues other than customer service issues. We have spend well over 100,000 with Zales if not more. We waited two weeks just for these people to send us 200.00 dollars off coupon but we have to buy something 1200.00$ or more. NO THANKS!
I then called the headquarters myself spoke with the customer representative on 10/06/17. Needless to say the entire situation was a joke. The customer representative call the store and put the manager on three way with me. She started acting as if she couldn't remember us, she started denying that we even came to the store, and then she denies I am the real person I say I am and now to top it off my rings are not there anymore. WHAT? I am going to sue them if my rings don't magically reappear. I am here But the end result of all this drama was I permanently terminated my credit card with them for good after 20 years. I will not and do not tolerate ignorance from any one of any race. We are done!!

When my husband purchased a diamond wedding ring set a few years ago, we also purchased the warranty in case diamonds were lost or the ring needed to be repaired. I had to have the ring inspected every six months, which I have done, in order for the warranty to stay active. I went to our local mall to have it inspected and the store had closed down.
I contacted Zales online to see how to keep my warranty up and have my ring inspected. They told me that the only way to do that would be to travel to another state to have it inspected. If I needed to send it away for repair, I would need to return to that state when the ring was repaired to pick it up. They did not offer to return the money that I paid for the warranty or give me the option to send it via mail for inspection or repair. Customer service said that there was nothing they could do for me. I feel like this is theft. On 04/07/2017 I went into the Zales outlet store in Philadelphia Mills mall. I decided to purchase my husband a ring. We decided on the 1 karat Ever Us men's wedding band, we met the store manager Evalina at that time and she encouraged us strongly to buy the ring. I said "Fine" because my husband loved it and I had cash to buy it, Evalina suggested that I apply for a Zales card even though I repeatedly said I had enough cash. She insisted why pay so much at once if I could get the card so I did. She rang up the ring for the cost of 2,253.53. That was the ring and lifetime protection warranty.
After that she tries to give us a size 10 ring. We immediately said that my husband cannot fit that ring and she said take it home and she will special order the ring in a size 13 after sizing his finger, my husband and I agreed that we would not take such expensive ring home that he could not wear so Evalina said she would keep it there and put it in the manager’s safe and she would call me when the size 13 got there which would be 4-6 weeks, WELL 6-7-8 weeks passed! So I called and said if it was not there by the end of week 9 that I did not want it anymore! So that Thursday she called and said the ring had arrived!
I sent my husband to get his ring. He called me about 5-10 minutes after he got it and told me that the ring looked scratched and scuffed up and that the band was very thin and it didn't look like the original ring we choose, so I told him to come home and let me see the ring myself, when he got home on top of what he mentioned I noticed that the ring was also dented. It was NOT a perfect circle. I called the store immediately after I saw my husband’s ring and found that Evalina was gone for the day so I spoke with Joanna (assistant manager). I shared my thoughts that I believed the ring was stretched from the 10 to a 13 and that is how it got scratched and scuffed and dented and she said that she didn't know what happened but she would place a order and expedite it for a size 13 ring and that it would be there in 4 weeks.
I got a call in roughly 4 weeks and we picked up the new ring on 06/22/2017. On that day Joanna was supposed to return the old ring and give me a $200 courtesy for my troubles as agreed upon by Evalina and the district manager Phillip **, upon entering the store we noticed in the (Ever Us) showcase that the ring was on sale so we brought that to Joanna attention and mentioned to be sure to ring it at the sale price plus add our discount coupons back. She said that she did that and then she asked if I wanted the $200 courtesy in cash but looked in the drawer and said all she had was $189 in the drawer so would I like it back on the Zales card. I said, "Yes that's fine", meanwhile she pretended that she rang the new ring up as a new transaction and added discounts and plus put the $200 courtesy on my Zales card, that was a LIE!
She put the credit on the Zales card but she did not ring the new ring up at the on sale price. She left it at the original price and did the transaction as a exchange! After that not knowing her crafty behavior I made a $100 payment from my bank account then a $300 payment in the store and then a $48 payment from my bank account but with all of this my bill didn't seem to be correct! I contacted the number on the Zales card statement and explained that my balance seemed too high and I explained everything so the rep put in a dispute, I received a second statement and it was higher than the first statement??? How was this possible! The first rep told me not to make any payment until the dispute was resolved but then they charged me a $25 late fee! I called and set that straight then I headed to the Zales store to see if someone could show me in person why the amounts were not adding up!
At first Joanna was not there and the 2 store clerks could not figure it out although one of them did come close to what I was thinking the amount should be, my husband and I walked to Kay Jewelry and asked them if they could look at my paperwork and help me figure it out. I had been doing math for 4 days and my brain was tired and frustrated! We then went back through the mall to go back to the car and noticed that Joanna was now in the Zales store so we went back in, we sat down and I pulled out all of the paperwork including the bill statements. Joanna repeatedly tried to tell me everything was correct and I just got tired so I said I will just call corporate and see if they could help.
At that time Joanna said that basically the $200 credit wasn't showing as a positive because it was actually a way to bring the price of the ring down. I was SHOCKED. Clear deceit! She said it was just a misunderstanding on my part... It was not! It was deceit on her part for doing a exchange at the old price instead of a new transaction at the new sale price! At that point I was stressed OUT. I said I would just like to return the ring because I don't like not knowing EXACTLY what was happening with my money! She then stated that because the first transaction was from April 7th 2017 that I could not return the ring that I picked up on June 22 2017.
Now keep in mind the ring from April was stretched, scuffed, dented and scratched by the store manager Evalina trying to deceive us into thinking it was a special order from "Ever Us" so I said "We purchased this good ring on June 22nd 2017 so how is that all possible." That's when we found about the exchange deceit! We told Joanna that we never had these issues at Kay and that the customer service was always pleasant that we never have been so stressed out! And I just wanted to return the ring and NEVER DEAL WITH ZALES AGAIN! She said I could not.
I called corporate and she Joanna called her DM and stated that the only reason we wanted to return the ring is because we wanted to go buy one from Kay??? That was a HUGE lie! So I told the rep at corporate that Joanna was lying but we did praise the customer service at Kay. As I sat there on the phone with corporate 2 security officers come into the store and asked what the problem was because clearly my husband and I was sitting down with paperwork out and I was talking to the corporate office. Joanna goes on to tell the security officer that I was calling her a liar and I was!
The security asked me was I on the phone with the Zales store or corporation. I said yes and he said that I wasn't doing anything wrong, however as Joanna spoke to two male customers that came in I heard her make a statement in reference to my religion, “Those ** people in here calling me a liar,” at that point the security officer, my husband and I went to the side after I finished talking to Joseph ** at corporate that I had spent over 1 hr on the phone with and we told security the issue. He shook his head in disgrace and said he hoped we would enjoy the rest of our day, meanwhile although I purchased this ring of horror on June 22 2017 I was being told on August 2nd that I could not return it?
This has been the most horrific retail experience ever. The people at Zales could not care any less about the consumer. All they care about is the SALE and their store revenue and as Joanna said she would lose her job because mine would be her 3rd complaint in one week! Do not shop at Zales. THEY WILL DECEIVE YOU, ROB YOU, STRESS YOU OUT AND MAKE WHAT SHOULD BE A HAPPY THING INTO A PURE NIGHTMARE! Just stay away and purchase jewelry from a place that actually cares more about the customer! I'm currently still waiting on a call from someone above store level. All I have is 2 ticket numbers ** and I'm ** as well I believe... SMH!

Repeated Horrible Experiences: We sent my new engagement ring to be sized. The store doesn't tell you, nor is it documented in any paperwork that they give you, but it can take 4-8 weeks for any repairs. They are sent to their "home office." After repeated resizing, I could finally wear my ring. It was purchased in Sept; it was now Dec. A few months later a small diamond in the band had fallen out. I reluctantly went back to have it sent out once again. 6 weeks later it came back and I noticed immediately that a diamond in the halo had been replaced with what looked like a cloudy pebble. It was so bad that the store associate tested it to see if it was real. She said that "home office" couldn't keep up with their repairs, and we're subcontracting to other jewelers.
I decided to send it back yet again and asked if they could put a rush on the repair. I located the phone # of their home office, and when I called, was routed back to the general customer service dept. 8 weeks later my ring came back and this time, 12 small diamonds in the band (3 on each side x 2 - split band) had been replaced with cloudy pebble diamonds. I finally accepted defeat. I haven't gone back since. The $ that my fiance paid for the extended warranty was a waste.

My husband bought my wedding ring from Zales which we upgraded in 2014. The diamond ring was 2 1/2 sizes too big, which they sent off for 3 weeks to have sized down, which at the time I had no idea in situations like this of downsizing by 2 sizes should be custom made not sized down because it misplaced the gemstones and thins the band. This is only part of my problem with this company. I didn't even realize until I got a call from them about a different ring my husband purchased in 2015 that is emeralds & diamonds, which also had to be downsized by 2 sizes. Again, I didn't know until another jewelry store informed me this shouldn't happen, but custom make the ring.
Fast forward to 2016. I lost an emerald and my band was slightly bent and since I purchased the warranty on both rings, I had it sent off. Took almost a month to get it back but everything seemed fine. 3 months later the ring is again slightly bent on the band, and again they send it off which took 3 weeks this go around. No problem. Yesterday, yet I had to take the ring in to have it sent off to fix a bent band. This morning I get a call from the same guy who I dealt with yesterday, stating that the band is thinning "normal" wear and tear and they don't cover that, so it's going to cost me $249 to add more gold to the band to correct the problem. My husband only paid $259 for the ring to begin with since it was on sale at the time and is regularly $400. Of course I said no I'm not paying that and it's only been 2 yrs of having the ring and shouldn't be thinning already.
Then I notice my wedding ring is also thinning! Both have been sent off in the past to fix bent bands. When I told the gentleman who called to inform me, they would be charging me the ridiculous amount to fix the thinning that shouldn't be happening in such a short time of owning the rings, that I'd be there today to pick up my ring and never again will I buy anything from them nor will I recommend them to anyone. I have a lab emerald ring my husband bought me from Walmart 9 yrs ago for $80, which they had a new one sent to them for my size at time of purchase that I have worn since the day I received it and NEVER has that cheap ring had the slightest dent or thinning in the band, unlike both the rings in the short time I've had them from Zales, on top of losing an emerald in one of them. STAY AWAY FROM ZALES.

I have to have a signed receipt showing that I purchased a diamond ring there. I told the lady it was okay. I hesitate to write this review because I can't really find proof. My husband bought me a new wedding ring in 2000. My original ring from out 1982 wedding had to be cut off due to a baseball hitting my ring and to save the finger I had to cut off the bent ring. Well, we were financially much better off this many years later and my husband decided I needed a nicer, more expensive ring. We purchased a band that had a row of 5 diamonds. It originally was close to $8.000.00 but we paid about $4,000.00. Through the years I constantly got compliments on the "sparkle" of my diamonds, and even a jewelry told me once that they were a great quality.
I tried several time to take it to Zales and do a "check" and on the ring and they never could find our records. Unfortunately we had a fire at our business and the original receipt was lost. It really was hit and miss, sometimes they would take it anyway without the receipt to "tighten" the diamonds and clean it, other time no. Sadly in April 2017 I lost a diamond. I took it in and they would NOT honor the warranty without records, we went ahead and paid the over $500 to replace the diamond. Here is my problem. Although I can't prove it I think I was sent a different ring! This ring's diamonds look smaller, they are not as "sparkly". With my old ring I would frequently have to twist my ring in the proper position because my "big" diamonds would hit my other finger and turn it, that NEVER happens now because it is smaller! I think this is a smaller carat ring! What should I do?

After you got it wrong twice (placing Ryan's name by Logan's birthstone and visa versa), he called and got a nice old customer service lady and got yet another return label in case he wanted to send it back. He then wrote a less than nice email to the company and got this in return. "We sincerely apologize for the communication gap regarding the ring that you ordered. We have verified with the jeweler that the diagram on the website is correct. The third name is engraved on the second ribbon on the right hand side, next to the second stone; and the second name is engraved on the third ribbon on the left hand side, next to the third stone. We are not able to have the engraving placements changed from what is showing on the diagram. "
He just shot a reply to them. It reads as follows. "Well, maybe you need to add that placement order to the description of the ring so folks know to order it as backward to get it the way they want it. You will never receive another order from me. I'll be finding somewhere that takes responsibility for their mistakes and puts the customer first." Mind you, we sent it back once, and had to wait and REORDER it, and then wait again. This is ridiculous!! It might be hard to tell, but my sons' names should be James, Ryan and Logan to go with the stones!! NO they go James, Logan and Ryan. I was so disappointed.

I purchased a necklace from Zales in 2015. I also purchased the lifetime jewelry protection plan (LJPP) for this piece of jewelry. The protection plan states it covers chain and bracelet soldering, refinishing, polishing, and rhodium plating. After 2 years of wearing my necklace, the pendant's silver backing began to rub off from laying on my neck. I also accidentally had it ripped off my neck from a child, causing the chain to stretch and break off 2 inches from the pendant. I personally went to Zales on 4/30/17 (Westroads Mall, Omaha, NE) to turn in the necklace to have it repaired. I showed the gentleman behind the counter my proof of LJPP. He stated the chain might need replaced if they cannot repair it (which I actually stated that I assumed it was going to be replaced and was hoping it could be replaced to save the repairman's time).
I also asked if I could have rhodium plating since the back of the pendant looked bronze more than the original silver. The gentleman stated it wasn't a problem and added rhodium plating to the work order. He told me it would be repaired and back in the store by 5/21/17. I signed my name on the repair order and left. Today (5/17/17) I received a phone call from Zales that said my necklace was done and in the store. I got off work and drove to Zales to pick it up. I spoke with the same gentleman who put in the work order initially. It took a few minutes for him to find my necklace because they had the order placed in my first name and not my last (last name, first name). After he found my necklace, he pulled it out of the plastic bag and it was in a complete knot. The entire chain was in a huge ball. I was offput initially because I could see the chain still looked stretched. He spent about 10 minutes untangling the chain and was successful.
He brought me my necklace and said, "I don't know what they did here..." He held up my necklace and it was THE SAME CHAIN. Not only was it the same chain, but in an effort to connect the broken ends together, they soldered a noticeably larger link (the same link one would use to connect the necklace together, one that is supposed to be on the back of your neck) to the broken ends to connect them, 2 inches from the pendant worn in the front. It looked horrible. I stated my frustration about the 'repair' with the gentleman that it looked like the necklace was backwards because of the obvious link in the middle of the chain, and that it was still stretched. He agreed and said, "I understand, this looks bad, I don't know why they would ever send us this back like this." He handed me the plastic bag with the work order.
I dug around and pulled out a new chain. I held it up to the gentleman and suggested that this was probably the chain that was intended to be the replacement chain. He looked at the new chain and said he doesn't have the tools to solder the new chain to the pendant. He stated, "That's the purpose of us sending in the chain to be repaired, the repairman is supposed to do this". I became even MORE frustrated. He handed me my necklace. The pendant wasn't even touched. WHAT!? He showed me the work order he sent in on 4/30/17 that stated 'please replace chain' and 'rhodium plating'. The work order sent back had 'no work done' written in ink on the receipt. That's all. No work done? Why? The pendant was supposed to be retouched! It had not even been touched, let alone looked at or even cleaned. I stated, "Why couldn't they at least work on the pendant?", and the gentleman said he did not know since it was an easy fix.
I expressed my displeasure with the service I was provided by Zales. Why was my necklace sent to sit in a plastic bag for 3 weeks to just be left untouched? Why was a call not placed from the repairman to the store stating why they couldn't do anything? Why didn't the repairman put the new chain on? The gentleman made a new work order, placed it on fast shipping, and told me it should be back in 7 days. After I get my necklace back next week, I will never do business with Zales. I will never recommend Zales to anyone and will turn away people if they ask about my experience. This was lazy service. I could have saved my time (an hour total spent in Zales) and just went to a local jeweler and just scrapped my LJPP. This gives the statement 'you had one job' a fulfilling meaning.

I walked into the Zales in the Ocean County Mall a month ago, April 2017, and was greeted by a very sweet blonde girl. I believe her name is Marge or Margo? Anyways, she was amazing with me, helped a lot! Then another woman came and got herself involved in our conversation, after being completely condescending to the young lady I was working with, she told me the ring I had did not look right on me and gave me an attitude the whole time! My pleasant experience quickly went awry. Who invited her into this conversation? No one if you ask me. I took her card so I could call and complain, her name is Kim. I have never been treated so poorly. She acted as though she was a manager but in related was a jewelry consultant. She was awful to her coworker, and worst of all to me and my wife. I was so angry. I left thinking wow there goes that experience!
So, my wife and I decided we would give it one more shot, we came in and requested the first young lady who helped us. I couldn't recall her name, but described her well, needless to say, they made no effort to figure out who I was speaking about and we wound up with the same unpleasant woman. There were three workers I could see that day, two older women and a young lady with dark hair. They all looked miserable! I was nice enough to give this Kim a chance, but that was a mistake. She insulted my wife, again, and I felt like I was mistreated very much. I wouldn't buy a thing from her, even if she reduced the price to nothing.
I wonder why Zales would have so many unhappy people in one store? And why that nasty woman would be taking customers and not fired by now? She was once again rude to her coworkers. I called and complained once more but I saw the other day she is still there. Listen Zales, if you want to succeed you need to get rid of that unhappy staff you have and promote the good ones! I won't be back thanks to Kim and her unpleasant ways!

I made the first purchase on 2/14/15. I had multiple diamonds fall out of this ring and after having it fixed three times they convinced me it was the style of the ring that was the issue. If that was the case I am not sure why you would sell a product like that in your store but it is what it is. After having to leave my wedding ring with you for a month at a time on three different occasions myself and my husband decided to upgrade to what we thought would be a better fit as far as better quality as we paid 4500.00 for the ring this time and it was a different style.
I lost a diamond in my upgraded ring about 8 mos after the upgrade. I then brought the ring in, had it fixed. Four weeks later I got my ring back, a month later I noticed another diamond was missing! Saturday April 29th I went into the Northtown Mall where we bought the rings and spoke with the manager that was there (it's never the same one as the turnover is frequent with all employees there). She explained that she was filling in from another store but she would work with her manager to get this resolved. At this point I explained to her that I did not trust Zales and I do not want to own a ring from there as I have had so many issues with the quality of your product. This is my wedding ring. Something that is very special and marks a special lifetime moment and to have that ruined with the issues I have had with the symbol that represents it is very disheartening and sad.
I feel like the fact that it has been almost a week and my husband has made multiple calls to the store as we have not gotten a call from the manager to let us know what will be done to rectify the situation. And not one of the calls has been returned and still no call from her! I am extremely disappointed in the quality of your product and the customer service that we have received! I need resolution in this matter. I am not able to wear my wedding ring as I do not want to cause any further damage and was told not to leave it there as the manager would be contacting us with a resolution... This has not happened and at this point I don't think it will happen.
I really hope someone with Zales will understand my frustration and contact me back with a resolution that is fair. Hopefully within the next couple days not months! I really want to be able to wear the symbol of my marriage and be proud of it not embarrassed of the quality! It extremely embarrassing to have people ask "where's your ring" and having to say I lost another diamond. Still nothing after contacting Zales Customer Service.

Where do I begin. A TAD over a year ago I bought an engagement ring for my fiance (now wife). I was told by the associate that the card would be interest free for 1 year then a very high interest rate would start. I quickly pay off that ring and buy a wedding band for my wife and myself. Besides a long long long story where the store messed up my band and had to reorder it 5 times, the associate who ordered me the ring apologized and offered me a 10% discount. The next day the store manager called me and said that they were sorry but the associate who gave me the discount had no authority to do that and that I wouldn't be getting any discount. I was pissed. However, my ring came back and everything was done. Now all I have to do is pay the bill and never look back at Zales.
Well, today the bill came in and I knew all I had was a little over $200 left. I was finally going to pay off this bill from this horrible company. To my surprise, I see an added amount of $365. Turns out, my offer wasn't interest free for a year. It was a deferred interest for a year. So, if you didn't pay it off you acquired all that interest. I was 2 weeks too late. Customer service, no help. Comenity Bank (the bank that Zales uses), no help. I am fuming! Do not shop Zales! They are deceptive and they are thieves. I have never hated a company more in my life. You better believe I am all over social media with this. Absolutely outraged! I have made a vow that I will tweet at least once a day for a month and make a status once a day for a month. I ended up returning my fiancée's engagement ring after 3 tries and it being messed up all 3 times. They never even caught the mistakes (diamonds twisted, band warped, prongs holding diamonds all at different lengths, diamonds twisted again). Luckily my fiancée has a good eye for detail. Their solution? Send it back yet again. Finally when I brought it back and demanded a refund they offered to replace it... too little too late. Me and my fiancée were done. Go to another jewelry store and tell them the situation, they immediately state that Zales should never have tried to size down the ring 2 sizes, they should have had one custom made in her size. I was told by the Zales associate that sizing down 2 sizes was easy. Dealt with both the Zales outlet in Marysville, Wa and the Alderwood mall store in Lynnwood, Wa. Absolute disappointment, they will never get my business again.

Customer service horrible. My fiancé and I were treated like we were young and stupid, or maybe it was because we were a lesbian couple. Who Knows? The manager of the store was condescending and not helpful. The product of the ring my fiancé purchased was not at all up to par of what was sold to her. We went and got it appraised and the jewelers wouldn't even give us more than 400 dollars for the ring. When we brought the ring in for repair it came back more screwed up than it already was. Then they told us we couldn't fix it, then they said they could. They gave us a ring "in the meantime" while it was getting fixed that the diamonds were yellow, oh but if my ring couldn't be fixed we could keep that one instead. UMMM NO.
To me something sounds fishy. They said they "FIXED" the ring, and when we brought it to get it looked at by other jewelers, they looked at me and said "who sold you this ring". We said ZALES, and he said well that is why. The repairs looked like a toddler did them, there was a crack in the main diamond that wasn't there before, and the prongs on the ring were messed with. DON'T EVER BUY FROM THIS ZALES, OR ANY ZALES FOR THAT MATTER. THEY RIP YOU OFF! The rings are crappy quality, and the customer service goes right along with the crappy quality. Thank you Zales for ruining this special time in our lives. A customer never returning and who will continue to bash the company on BBB, social media, word of mouth, etc.

AVOID ZALES AT ALL COST! (Peoria, IL Store Experience) I own several service oriented businesses and I can say with 100% certainty that this store has the worst customer service I have ever witnessed. I can only conclude from this experience that Zales is a heartless and mindless organization. My wife went to the store last week with my two young sons to get her ring checked and cleaned. While she was there she mentioned to the store manager that she needed the Diamond Bond paperwork printed off again as we moved a little over a year ago and it might have gotten misplaced.
The store manager told my wife that is against store policy and that if we don't have that paperwork there is no guarantee that the expensive set would be covered if a diamond fell out. My wife replied letting her know she used to work there at the store and they printed those out all the time. The store manager told her that it has never happened and that my wife was wrong and an idiot.
My wife said "this is BS" and the store manager said she was going to call Mall security. Please keep in mind my wife is under 120 lbs and had my two young sons with her. She didn't raise her voice or make any threats. My wife left and called me from the parking lot in tears from the way she was treated. I had to leave work to drive onsite and I went in to the store myself. The store manager and district manager were there at the time of my arrival. I mentioned to both of them who I was and that my wife had just been in and was mistreated.
They both said that they would not print off any original Diamond Bond paperwork with the original number. They would only print off an extended diamond bond form that would reset the policy, but with no coverage guarantee. I questioned this again and was firm with my expectations to no avail. I had them clean the ring and while that was going on I turned my discussion to the store manager that was incredibly rude to my wife.
I told her I did not appreciate her trying to call mall security on my wife and let her know I am still quite well connected to various police officers if she really wants to get someone else involved. She said my wife used the word BS in front of customers and I let her know the last time I checked it wasn't illegal to do that nor was it a crime. She walked away and wouldn't even look in my direction again.
Once I left the store I called corporate and I explained my situation. The customer service rep checked the policy and when she came back on the phone let me know that the store manager was incorrect on her understanding of the policy. She put me on hold and reached out to the district store manager to notify them that they need to print out the original paperwork. Then she picked up my line again to notify me that the store manager would reach out to me when the paperwork was ready. I told the customer service rep I still wanted to talk to the district manager for the way my wife was treated.
Now here comes the district manager experience. She called within a few days and leaves a message for me to call her. I am a busy person with my companies so I call her back on the following Monday which is today 2/20/17. I left her a voicemail and she called me back. When I answered I jumped right into my frustration with the experience. I didn't yell and I did not cuss at her even one time. I gave an accurate account of what transpired and instead of following the most basic golden rule of service where you admit your mistakes she does not. She claims that neither her nor I were there so we don't really know what happened. Which is essentially calling my wife a liar. She offers no apology and says that her manager was upset with that situation as well and that she has never had issues in the past with those types of experiences.
I'm nearly dumbfounded by the lack of understanding who the heck you work for in this engagement. I let her know that I will make it a point of going out of my way to make sure their sales are affected. She asked what she can do and I said "you can send my wife a written apology" which she offered maybe a phone call from the store manager which I had no interest in scheduling since this person was nothing but horrifically rude. I let the district manager know I have several other peers that have had awful service experiences within the last few years at the Peoria Zales as well which she didn't seem interested in hearing about.
To top off that conversation the district manager mentions the customer service person was wrong and if you read the paperwork it says that is the policy. Which I countered that "They don't look at the same paperwork as you do?" She said "I don't know what they look at." I said "Aren't you the same corporation and it's the same document?" No answer. She knows that I am now on a quest to make sure everyone is informed to avoid this plague they call Zales. The principle of this matter is beyond frustrating.

We did so on the 16th of Dec 2016. My husband worn the ring for 15 days and then realized a diamond fell out. When we arrived home a month later we contacted the store. They said come in and we will take care of it. I drove 30 mins to the store and wasted a hour and a half to find that the ring is defective, the gold was flaking. They had one in the showcase that they inspected and found that it also showed signs of flaking. I was told, 1st, they would special order a ring. Please keep in mind the sentimental value has been lost. I had really no option but to say okay.
I then asked for some compensation due to the fact they did not inspect the ring before taking my money, and my special occasion had been spoiled due to their lack of expertise. Plus we still have no ring. I filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs or whatever they call their customer resolution department, then the district manager called me said I should pick a new ring out, different style since there is obviously a defect with the workmanship of the ring. So I found one that would match my ring. It had good ratings and then was told it was way more money than I paid for the ring that I purchased. Which is funny they gave me those fake discounts which made the ring cheaper, WHATEVER. Bottom line this company cares only about the sale and only the sale. It's not just a coincidence that Zales has received millions of one star bad reviews and I'm going to add another just in case it helps someone in their decision for shopping Big Box stores!! The jewelry will never be worth the money you pay but IF you plan to buy a piece for whatever reason, remember you're buying it for a reason but its retail, you rarely get paid more than what you paid. But why does the customer service or customer satisfaction not matter at all? It's a shame that so many people have gotten screwed! Lighten up Zales! Karma is a, you know what! If a jewelry store's success has anything to do with their online rating and horrible negative customer feedback, then hopefully we'll start seeing more Kirkland locations instead! ;-)
SO HERE'S MY STORY... My boyfriend and I went into a Zales store to look at jewelry. I gave him jewelry as a Christmas gift idea for me so we went in. I wasn't sure if I wanted a ring, bracelet, necklace, etc. A day or two later I went online to check out their selection of watches for my boyfriend. Ended up splurging a little more so bought him a nice watch to seal the holiday. Turns out, he already had one. He was aware he could exchange it in 60 days. After asking about the status of the watch, he advised that he found another one on the website that he'd like to exchange it for. I asked him to see the receipt myself and clarified it says, "Jewelry has a 60 day return policy, watches only 30 days." OOOPS! It was 10 days later than the policy typically allows but surely they'll be fine if a customer is exchanging a brand new watch for a more expensive watch, not counting we have all original packaging and required items all together with it.
Ended up calling Zales customer service a littler later in the evening so maybe that was partially the problem. The girl seemed like she just wanted to go home and could care less about providing customer service so stayed pleasant and patient. After all, I'm at home and she was having to work and deal with me. Wasn't sure why I was on hold for almost 8 minutes; seemed fairly cut and dry. You either want repeat business so will extend an exchange/return for scenarios involving customer exchanges especially when it still falls within your 60 day jewelry return time period... OR you don't because you really don't care. That's Zales!
She did apologize for the long hold period and said she asked approval from a couple different higher ups and they all turned it down. I asked if anyone told her why no if I'm going to exchange it for another product?? And she said they didn't say. So I will not ever buy from them again nor will I ever recommend Zales! They do not deserve to make money off of people by trickery or deceit! Just do your research!

In taking them back to the store I was denied and given the cold shoulder suggesting selling them to a pawnshop. In taking them in to see what would be offered I was told the actual value of the set (unworn) was $1,300... infuriated I called the corporate office and was told it was against company policy to return them. I cannot stress enough to absolutely pass this store up and continue looking elsewhere. This is the textbook example of taking your money and running despite the situation. If I could rate this store with a zero, I would!!! My husband purchased a necklace at the Roosevelt Field Mall, Garden City, New York store. The experience we had involving misinformation, inconsistent responses, and outright rudeness was appalling. My husband chose a beautiful necklace and before completing the transaction, he asked about the return/exchange policy, just in case I wasn't happy with his choice. He paid in cash because as this was a gift, he did not want me to see the cost on our credit card bill.
The salesperson who sold him the necklace informed him that it could be exchanged or returned for a full refund within 30 days (apparently the return policy for this piece of jewelry is 60 days as we were able to see on the receipt printed after the transaction was completed, but that verbal misinformation at the point of sale is not the main source of our complaint). At no time was he informed that a cash payment would not be fully refunded at the time of return, nor is there a sign to that effect posted on the premises.
My husband's taste is nothing if not consistent, as evidenced by the fact that the necklace he purchased is almost identical to one he gave me 10 years ago which I love and still wear often. Therefore, we headed back to the store, a mere 6 hours later, to look to exchange the piece, or return it for a refund. It was at this point that we were informed by the evening salesperson that due to the fact that the purchase price exceeded $200, he could only refund $200 cash at that time and a check for the balance would be issued by a corporate check and mailed to us within 3 weeks. We were understandably upset, as we were in effect being asked to leave the merchandise and walk out with less than half of what he spent and then wait multiple weeks to receive the balance of the refund. We asked to speak with a manager, who told us there was nothing she could do and that the cash return policy is clearly stated on the receipt.
Having no recourse, we proceeded with the return, only to be told at that point by the salesperson that no cash could be refunded at this time because the price exceeded $200, and the entire purchase amount would be received by corporate check in the ensuing weeks. This was contradictory to what he had said moments before. We thereupon complained further to the manager (it was at this point that an uninvolved salesperson laughed at us). The manager determined she would give us the $200 cash refund, telling us she was making a concession to us, and pointing out, once again, that the policy is clearly stated on the receipt.
I have a couple of issues with the language on the receipt the salespeople kept referring to. First of all, the language is cash refunds over $200 will be made by check issued by and sent from corporate office within 21 days. This is ambiguous. I read and interpret this to mean that a cash refund of up to $200 will be made and the balance, if any, over $200 will be by check. The employees, as evidenced, depending on the moment, might interpret it the same, or, might interpret it to mean that any cash purchase totaling more than $200 will not be refunded in cash at all.
Secondly, the fact that customers are not informed (by staff or store signage) of the company's cash return policy until after the purchase is completed and the receipt prints (at which time it is too late) is unjust, unreasonable and disreputable. Additionally, the fact that Zales receives back its merchandise but retains the customer's money, therefore earning interest on money that in effect does not belong to Zales, is most likely illegal and if nothing else, incredibly disgraceful.

The order was put in the 19th and she said yes within five days. Well he has called three times about them and here it is January 3rd and I still don't have my rings. They keep giving us the run around. I will never purchase anything from them again nor will I give anyone a recommendation for this Company. I am a very upset wife and my Anniversary was the 1st and still no rings.

My fiance bought me the most gorgeous engagement ring which was unfortunately stolen. I know that it's my fault for putting my ring in a position to be stolen, but stuff happens. Anyway, my fiance asked for insurance on the ring in case anything should happen to it. They let him walk out of their doors under the assumption that my ring was insured against loss or damage and everything was fine. I tell him my ring was stolen, and he tries to settle things with Zales who told him that my ring was never insured against loss, and that they insured the CREDIT CARD they talked him into. What?? Who insures a credit card? Very sneaky, rude people. Would not recommend to anyone.

I order a pair of diamond earrings on 12/20 for a Christmas gift. It shows 2 day shipping on the website. After I placed the order, I got an email and said the item will need 5-10 business days to process. I immediately call the customer service but nobody pick up the call after waiting for more than 1 hour. Kept call on 12/21~12/23 but all the same. Finally someone pick up the call on 12/26.
Since they missed the Christmas delivery, I asked if they can change the delivery address to my billing address because I am going to leave the place. The CS was very rude and said there is nothing they can do about it. Then I asked to talk to his manager. The manager was a little bit helpful said that they need to contact with the custom made department to double check. I told her to send me an email to give me the status. She agreed. Two days later, still no emails, no updates. I called again on 12/28. This time the CS was SUPER rude. Basically, she just simply tell me there is nothing Zales can do about my order. Be aware, never, never do business with this company.

DO NOT go to the ZALES in the Orange Park Mall in Orange Park, FL. I went in there on November 23, 2016 to drop off my diamond cut 10K gold rope necklace to be repaired. 2 weeks later they called me to let me know it was ready. When I went in to pick it up I was horrified to find out that it was NOT the same necklace that I had initially dropped off. The ONLY thing that was supposed to be fixed was 2 links that had broken on the chain. But, again I was horrified when I saw it because the clasps were smaller than the ones that were on my necklace and they looked like they had been removed and soldered back on. The rope was NOT diamond cut.
When I was trying to find the place they were supposed to fix there was gold flecks flaking off on my fingers and I could see a darker looking metal under the gold. It was a lot lighter in weight than my necklace. When I turned it the links were moving and all loose, plus when I put the necklace on it was rough like sandpaper. The necklace I dropped off to be fixed was my Grandmother's that passed away a few years ago and I'm beyond upset that I got duped out of my necklace. It's crappy! BE WARNED. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I purchased a ring for my wife that had Opal stones and within three months the stones had fallen out. Is just outside of the 60 day return policy and I called the customer service and was told to take it to any store and they would fix it only to find out that they don't guarantee their product and that I'm tough out of luck unless I want to pay more money for it. I highly recommend that if you want quality that you go somewhere else. Zales does not care about their customers. This Ring cost me over $300. That's normally 500. It was on sale for a summer special. The manager tell me there's nothing they can do. It seems the company doesn't know what the stores are doing and what customer service is phone line is saying and so they were misleading in both the service and the sales.
The location was in St. Joseph Missouri and the manager became rude and snotty towards me when she found out I was not there to buy, but rather try to get this fixed. She placed the blame on me for making that purchase. That I should have bought just diamonds if I wanted taken care of. When I went to the store originally to make the purchase they did not have the ring in the store to buy and I was encouraged to go online to make my purchase. They did not tell me they did not guarantee their products. I was told if the stones came out they would fix it. I feel I was mislead and duped into buying a product that is second rate only to get me to purchase from Zales. Don't go to Zales. My family won't be going there and my daughter has decided not to purchase her wedding bands there.

So I find out that the wedding rings James got me don't have diamonds. So I go to ZALES The Diamond Store at Park Place Mall. They tell me they are not diamonds and I have to call customer service. So I call customer services and the lady is amazing and says, "I'm sorry for that." She tells me to send the rings back and I'll be refund. All I'll have to do is get a tracking number and as soon as they have that all get my refund. So I put my rings in a box and take them to UPS and get a tracking number. I call them back to give it to them. I get told, "Sorry we can't refund you your money back. It's been too long." I said, "No, you will refund me my money. We don't buy a fake ring so I want my money back. It says 'diamonds' and it's not so refund me." I was told to send back my ring and I'll get refunded.
Now my rings are in the mail on its way back to them and no money. I won't past 2 people to get to the 3rd to say when we get your rings it may or may not make it back to me and no money too. I yelled and told her to give me my money back. I told her customer service is very bad. Why won't you give me my money back on a fake ring. Don't say you are The Diamond Store and my rings have no diamonds. I've been looking ZALES up online and email 8 different people. I've gotten 3 back and will be looking into it. That is the online reviews and it's bad very bad. Don't buy from ZALES??? ZALES The Diamond Store my ass. All I want is my money back so I can get rings on my finger.

So I waited and waited and waited no calls. So then today I went up there and they said, "Oh I'm sorry our jeweler said she will fix it this time but she doesn't ever want to work on this bracelet ever again. It has been a monster for her." I looked at them as if they were crazy and they are and said, "I thought this was a jeweler that fixes things?" And she says, "Well this is what our jeweler WOMAN repair said, she won't deal with this."
I am thinking this place needs to be shut down... Or better yet fire that repair jeweler you have. PLEASE, PLEASE I BEG ANYONE THAT READS THIS TO STAY AWAY from them. Went to pick it up yesterday and the sales gal took the bracelet out of the bag. Guess what? Another stone is missing!! Really? I thought they checked the settings!?! Of course they are covering it but had I walked out of the store?? What the H? So my conclusion along with you all, No more Zales for us. Can't even upgrade... Stupid. :(

My husband had purchased the 3 stone diamond ring from Zales, online, 2 years ago for Christmas. It was the past, present, and future diamond ring. Every time I had it cleaned, it looked cloudy. So after him paying a few hundred dollars for this ring, I finally took it to a personal jeweler, only to find out, they were not diamonds at all. They were white sapphires, and that is why my ring always looked cloudy.
After bringing it into the store, once again they cleaned it, yet it was no different. The manager told me it was my fault because the dirt was getting underneath it. They would not refund our money, not replace my ring. I showed them a ring I bought at Kohl's department store for under $100, and explained that I always wear these rings together on the same finger yet the Kohl's ring never tarnished or got cloudy. Talk about their customer service, I will never shop there again. It was embarrassing to wear the Zales ring, so my husband eventually bought me a new past, present, and future ring from a personal jeweler in town, I have had no problems with this ring whatsoever. Never shop at Zales.

The bracelet broke and I took it back to one of their store to get it fixed and was given an estimate. I was told in three weeks they would call me. No call after the allotted time. I went back to the store 6 weeks after and was told that it not ready, check back. After over 3 bloody months I went back, only to be given back the item and was told they couldn't repair it. Now I'm left with a necklace set and a bracelet I can't wear. I WOULD NOT recommend an animal to purchase anything from any of Zales store. I ordered a ring July 17th, 2016. I was told I could not buy the one in store because I needed a small size and the ring could not be sized. The sales associate told that it would take 12 weeks. But, that they say 12 weeks and it usually comes in within 8 weeks. 12 weeks came and went. I called the store. It wasn't in. I called at 14 weeks, twice, and they didn't know where it was, and tried to locate it. It turns out it was never completed due to "sourcing issues." But, they expected that in about 3 weeks it would arrive at corporate and then the stones could be put into the mounting. I said, no, enough is enough. Last week, they gave me back a ring I traded in. Miraculously, it was still in the store. When it came time to credit my Zales account, which I have made 3 payments on plus interest of about 25 dollars a month, the store manager couldn't get the full amount credited back to my account because someone rang it up wrong in the first place.
So I am still waiting for 3,000 plus the interest to be credit to my account. I should have read reviews before doing business with them again. My previous experience was ordering a ring which came in in two weeks, that was about six years ago. I was happy with that purchase. It's a good thing my husband and I decided to have our ceremony and not worry about planning it around the arrival of my ring. A supposed delivery time of 12 weeks turned into 16 weeks with their promise last week of another 4 weeks or so, completely ridiculous. I will not be doing business with Zales or any of the other stores owned by their parent company, Kay Jewelers, Jared.

In August, my then-fiance and I went to Zales in Colonie, New York, to pick out our wedding rings. Since we were getting married in September, we knew that we were cutting it close, and expressed that to the sales clerk. She assured us that this wasn't a problem and even said she would wave any rush fee that there may be. Then we picked out our rings and figured out what size to get them in. For my husband's ring, she sized him at a 9. He said it felt a little big, but she insisted it would be fine as winter is coming and his finger would swell. This sounded wrong to me, but I figured she is the jewelry and let it go.
After checking us out and selling us protection plans for booths rings, she told us the rings should be in about a week before the wedding and we would get a call when they came in. Well, a week before the wedding came and we never received a phone call. I happened to be at the mall for other wedding related things on the Saturday before the wedding. So I decided to stop into Zales for a progress report. When I went in, the girl at the counter could not find anything about our order. Nothing on the computer, no receipt in the little box, and no rings in the recently came in drawer.
After about 20 minutes of searching, she finally located a ring that appeared to be my husband's and from there found our order on the computer. Unfortunately, my ring was nowhere to be found. She told me it was possible that my ring was in one of the boxes in the back, but for some reason those boxes couldn't be opened until tomorrow morning. She said they would give me a call first thing to let me know if they found it. So, seeing no other option, I went home with only one of our two rings.
However, when I got home, I discovered that the ring I had was not my husband's correct ring. The ring I brought home was two sizes too big. After calling the store, they said we could bring it in to have something put on it to have it fit his finger for the wedding and they would reorder it in the correct size. After receiving no phone call most of the day on Sunday, I finally called them. They said they didn't have my ring and were looking into. Three more phone calls back and forth and I was finally guaranteed that my ring would be in by Wednesday.
When we went in on Wednesday I finally got my ring and heard every excuse in the world for why things were going so wrong. Mainly the blaming of other people and complaints about other employees work. We also discovered that the ring in our possession might be the ring from the display case that was the one he tried on the first time we came in. To top it all off, the thing they were going to use to make his ring fit temporarily wouldn't work on his ring. The girl we dealt with this time, told us that she would call and put a rush on my husband's real ring and have it ordered in the proper size, which turned out to be 8.
Unfortunately it would not be here in time for the wedding, but hopefully it would be in within a few days of it. Either way she promised to call us that weekend to let us know. On Friday, we got married. By Sunday, we still hadn't heard anything about his ring. Monday, my husband called and was told that his ring would be in in a week. A week later, once again, we didn't hear anything from the store. That Tuesday, my husband called again. This time he was informed that the order had never been placed and it would take 2 weeks for the ring to come in if placed now. So, I went in after work to talk to them in person. That got me nowhere, except into an argument with the sales woman about what size the ring should be.
I was forced to call their corporate number. There, I talk to a guy that told me this was unacceptable customer service. He went through with getting the ring ordered in the proper size and once again said it would take 2 weeks. After all of this, his ring took 3 weeks to come in. And after spending $1000 at the store and month's worth of headaches, the only thing the corporate number is giving us is a $125 gift card. Like I would actually spend any money in one of their stores again.

YES, I was aware of the no interest for the first year, but I was told I would begin paying the interest after that time. NOT that they would add all the interest from the first year!! And now I have to pay interest on the interest!! How do they get away with this!!! I want everyone who is considering dealing with ZALES to know about this SCAM. BEWARE OF UPSALE! I went to Zales outlet store located in Rosenberg around July the 1st. I left my wedding bands (you can understand their importance to me) in the store for regular cleaning and filling estimate, and got a phone call the same week with the prices. I approved only ONE of the rings for an enhancement they stated to be $200. After 2 ½ months of no updates and unclear statuses, I finally reached the manager on September the 12th who confirmed the ring’s readiness.
I went to the store the next day only to find out that instead of $200, the new price for the job was $260. On top of that, the second ring which I DID NOT approve for a filling had the service done. The final price was said to be $700, $500 above what I had approved. The store refused to return me my wedding bands even though the mistake is purely theirs. I claimed BBB complaint as well.

Me and my boyfriend bought 3 rings at Zales, two for me (one diamond ring and one wedding band), another band for my boyfriend. It cost us about $1500. We bought them in store and the store manager helped us. She was nice at that time and seems professional. Then after we selected the rings, she let us know there is a protection plan, which including sizing, cleaning, replacing, polishing, and the most important thing is she told me it includes stolen! I asked her how about loss, she told me it only cover stolen, not loss. She only told us this protection plan, and did not mention there are two different ones.
When check out, she sold us the protection plan which did not cover stolen! We were not aware of it, we were told there was only one protection plan! This is a trap! Also, she asked when did we need the rings, I said as soon as possible, she put it as rush and did not let us know it charges rush fee, which is $39 per ring, and it was about $120 for no reason?? I was angry when I went back to pick it up.
After that, my boyfriend and I went travel, and our car got broken into. Our rings got stolen, that was how we found out how cheap Zales is! When we entered the store, we brought our protection plan to the staff, and she told us this protection plan does not cover theft! What? I was not aware there were different protection plans and the store manager told me it covers stolen... Then I talked to the store manager, the one who sold the rings to us, she was not helpful at all and she denied! She insisted to say she told us there were two different protection plans and we chose the cheaper one which did not cover stolen. What? She made this up to cover herself!! We were not aware of it and this is definitely a trap!!! Then she told us we cannot get anything back. This does not make any sense to me. This store fool people and try to take money from people as much as they can and leave you alone. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ZALES.

My wedding band arrived in a timely manner but the bridal set took longer and was soldered together sloppily. I let the store staff know that we did not want the bridal set soldered and would like it separated. They acknowledge the error and assured us the set would be unsoldered in about 2 weeks and it would not compromise the quality of the ring. They then called me on 9/2/2016 to pick up both rings but the set was still soldered sloppily. I was so displeased not only with the ring, but the lack of customer service from the associates that I returned both rings and will be closing the account I opened solely for this purchase.
My fiance called the corporate office and was advised the district manager will to contact me in reference to the matter and was also informed every Zales does not use the same repair shop so I may consider shopping at another Zales, depending on how I can be compensated for this grievous mistake. Because of this we have had to cancel an engagement announcement party and delay sharing the news with our family, my fiance's grandfather passed away amidst waiting for this repair.
