I ordered a 12-month supply of Simparica Trio for my golden retriever. I have been a customer for years. It seems like every time there is a bit of an issue with the script being received and approved by the right veterinarian. We had two dogs in their files, both passed away a couple of years apart. I notified PetMeds. When we got our puppy Golden in Manhattan 3 years ago I purchased Simparica from them, noticed that the previous dogs were still listed with wrong veterinary addresses and gave them all the info for the new puppy Golden, apparently to no avail because at the beginning of June I ordered the 12-month supply to the address in California where we live now and gave them the approving veterinarian's info in Portland, name, number, address, everything they needed. They sent the script to a veterinarian in Irvine. Never lived there, never asked for the meds to be sent there.
It took several mails from me and from the veterinarian in Portland for the script to finally get to her and the meds to me. It was a one month ordeal. They even had the nerves to tell my vet's clinic in Portland that she was not responding when she never received the script in the first place. In the end, they don't manufacture the meds so there is no reason to be overly thankful for them mailing it to us when they mess up over and over and over again with the paperwork and do not own their mistakes.
What pushed me to write this negative review on this site it is because, icing on the cake, when I politely and respectfully expressed my opinion on the review they asked to write, they replied to me that my review did not meet their standards. Tell me then, what is the point to ask your customers to write a review only if you published the positive ones, they made me waste my time. Reviews are to be helpful to them and to us, it should make their business better. A review is not a mean to glory.

I have a 15-year-old dog that depends on Adaquan (prescription). Diana (1st tier call center) quickly responded to the emergency call that I made directly to PetMeds to sort out the problem, and escalated the situation immediately to Paul (Supervisor). Paul immediately reached out to the Vet clinic and sorted out the problem and entered the order. My confidence and respect for the PetMeds Staff is of the highest possible regard, and I commend the PetMeds Team for their appreciation and dedication to the needs of PetMeds Customers and their dependent companions.

PetMeds, was exemplary after my beloved dog passed away. Iris was very compassionate and was very kind. She gave me a refund for the unopened medicine and even gave me a refund for the open medicine after I counted out the pills. I felt that was such a class act and went above and beyond customer service. She also deleted my autoship and removed my credit card payment. Again I was very happy with the customer service and will be recommending everyone to order from PetMeds.

I called (after hours) because I just placed an order online but forgot to put it on auto ship and Peggy in customer service was outstanding. She quickly found my order and changed my order to auto ship and then she also got permission from a supervisor to apply a $20 coupon to my order as a thank you for starting an auto ship! I am also very thankful they were manning the phones at 9:30pm Eastern time and she was even based in the US which is rare these days.

I called with multiple questions about an order I have and new order I wanted and the need to make several changes. The girl who helped me was very informative and she even answered a couple of questions before I was able to speak them aloud! She was also friendly and confident in her job which was so nice! 1800 PetMeds is very inconsistent with refilling my dog's Apoquel. He has horrible allergies were if he even misses his next dose within hours he will be biting and scratching like crazy and by the end of the day he's bleeding from constant irritation. I've had multiple calls with 1800 Pet Meds about the website not being accurate about shipping times and not being prompted in letting me know if they need the vet to give permission for refills. They also don't contact my vet when they are supposed to, to refill on time.
I spoke with an amazing agent on 4/20/2024 who overnighted my dog's meds and pushed the order through 'cause it was in a "in progress" loop plus the agent before her told me before the weekend the medication was going out that day and I asked her if she was sure and she said yes. Even with having additional Apoquel just for this case I still ran out and my dog has been off of the medication for 2 days now and as you can imagine isn't doing well.

Kelly was outstanding with her customer service skills. She was extremely helpful with her knowledge and expertise regarding the items I purchased. Despite having a glitch while unsuccessfully trying to order my items online via the website, Kelly was very quick to remedy the situation and complete my order over the phone. The manufacturer of Synovi G4 changed the product--both the chewable size and packaging. As a result, the new product is exactly half of the old. But the price was the same! I brought this to the attention of PetMeds and they gave me a partial credit and recommended a similar product. It sounded like it was the manufacturer who was responsible, but PetMeds tried to make it right.

I wish I had stumbled on 1-800-Pet-Meds years ago. We've overpaid our local vet and see a tremendous savings. Further, they make it super simple to put everything on auto-ship. I actually had to contact them, cancel an order due to having too much and not only were they able to cancel the order, but were very professional about adjusting my autoship schedule.

The representative that I spoke to to stop our auto ship after our dog died, was kind and respectful. I did not expect them to refund the shipment we received after his death, but they offered that and requested we donate the meds; which we did.
