Horrible customer service…obviously only interested in charging your credit card every two weeks…accepts no responsibility for their errors…I had a shipment arrive totally thawed…They replaced the items which took time and didn’t adjust my next order accordingly in order for them to stay on their schedule of charging my credit card…No regard for the freezer space someone may have in their home…You end up not eating of throwing away food.

Company automatically put on auto renew on my account. I stopped using after a few orders because food was terrible and expired soon. Don’t sign up, there are better food plans out there. Food has freezer burn too.

The food is fantastic, the price is expensive and the customer service is horrible. They make you believe you are speaking with a coach when in chat it's only an advisor. The advisor is misleading stating they have a high protein menu, when they do not. Then when you schedule a call with the coach the coach starts counting down your minutes and only allows 15 total and if you don't answer the phone the first time, when they say they called but the phone didn't ring, then when you pick up you lose that time and it's down to 10 minutes. So in less than 10 you have to ask question, give them feedback and figure everything out for yourself. They are worthless and useless. I'd rather go get weight loss shots and spend the $200 on a quick fix than feeding my face with no help and lies.

I have been a loyal customer for years now. I have done all the different programs and have invested lots of time. I signed up for the 6 month membership and it automatically put me in the “auto ship” club and charged me without knowing, and now I have no place to store the food. I called headquarters and none of the leaders would respond because they “were not taking phone calls.” This sweet gal was helping me but the leaders and their service was awful. I now have food I don’t need and lost $240. I am very disappointed and they need to make their offerings much clearer on their website.

Jenny Craig has changed drastically. They now offer the same meals for lunch and dinner with no distinction between them. This new process I believe slows down the weight loss intentionally so that you have to stay on it longer and spend more money. I have used it for 25 years and this last time 9/24 it has not had nearly the same results. Also, they do not verbally tell you when you go on a payment plan that if you cancel you still pay even when you don't get the food. I find the customer service all about the money, no one once asked me or called to check on me with regard to weight loss. The food is much more "chemically" tasting and has caused me to have some digestive issues. I would not recommend this program anymore due to the pricing, hidden costs, lack of concern for the customer, too many chemicals.
They do not budge when it comes to exceptions to get refunded, even with medical necessity. They also make no concessions if the food is delivered late, with it being their fault. When it does come and if the food is defrosted, you have to call it in and wait 10 days for replacement which puts you off plan. They do not ship it out any faster to make up for it and they will make again no exceptions. Very money bottom line driven. I was tasting the food in my mouth hours after eating it and the chemical taste was very strong. I was on it for 10 weeks and didn't lose anywhere near what I have lost in the past before it closed down. I stuck to it, was very strict and was averaging like 3 lbs a month. Nothing like the " up to 18 lbs in 2 months that they advertise. Long story, I would find another program to use.

At age 63, I decided to try a diet plan for the first time; stress had resulted in a steady gain. In a little over one year on Jenny, I lost over 20% of my starting weight. To maintain that, I have had to periodically go back on it for a week or two. It changed how I eat, including fasting, main meal at lunch, saving dessert for the end of the day, and of course portion control. I am grateful. They used to require phone consultation, which was certainly very helpful initially. Under the new system, I have not been using that as it's optional, and becomes repetitive after awhile. When the program became unavailable for months, I briefly tried Nutrisystem, but it did not work as well; their portions are bigger.

I used to order Jenny Craig at my local center. This is the first time that I’ve placed an order online since they closed down their locations. Received food today. Awful experience. Half of the food was defrosted, I was missing seven days of breakfast. They sent me, four items that I did not order. I had to get on chat because it’s impossible to get a hold of them to fix the problem. Unfortunately, a lot of the food I ordered that I did not receive they are out of. They took a list and said that they will send me another order. If I was able to, I would’ve had them just credit me for what I didn’t get plus what was defrosted. It’s saddens me that their new system doesn’t work. Unfortunately, I am having to look for another option to lose weight.

Food is good. Would like to see more menu options. They push auto ship which makes me leery as those types of plans can be difficult to pause if needed. I’ve had some fees (unexplained) from Jenny Craig charged to the credit card used for my orders. They are impossible to get a hold of via phone or email. If you aren’t on auto ship, delivery time is erratic (anywhere from 1 day to 10 days) after placing order.

I have been on JC for 8 weeks. Renewed plan for 8 more weeks. Got a fraud alert early Monday morning (12:30am) about the charge of $955.17. I confirmed it was legitimate.! Later on Monday, I called JC to make sure the charge had gone through & they said it had not. I spent over an hour on phone re-entering my card details and updating them, they sent me a code for confirmation - the whole thing. They blamed it on my bank & said I had to call them. I did and they confirmed I had cleared the charge, my card was good to go and it would go through.
Speed ahead to Tuesday, I have a VM from JC saying I need to call them. I do and it turns out they still have not processed my order & I have 2 days of food left!! They say it’s my bank’s fault and they have tried to run my card twice and it won’t work, So at 10:06am I call Capital One, speak to Mark in their customer service department. He confirms once again that my card is working, the charge is approved AND that JC had not swiped my card today at all. They LIED❗️He even confirmed my current and available balance: I had enough money for the charge to go through ten times.
So I call Jenny Craig back and tell them I had confirmed that the charge of $955.17 was approved and that my card is working. I also tell them I know they lied and that they had not swiped my cc at all today like they said they had. I asked to speak to a supervisor 11 times and they refused to allow it. Then they changed their tune and said it was an IT issue with their system; NOT my card or bank. I asked to speak to IT - they said that was not allowed.
I said I am running out of food and I need my order. They did not seem to care. I reiterated I had already spent nearly $900 dollars and had been a customer for 8 weeks; that did not seem to matter at all. I again asked to speak to a supervisor for the 12th time and was refused. I begged them to run my card again and the customer service rep said it didn’t work that way. She took my information and said someone would call me in an hour. This is a horrible company and their customer service is a joke‼️ To top it off, they lied repeatedly and when they got busted, all the supervisors refused to speak to me.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I wish I had never started with JC because now I’m stuck. I hate this new online business model - poor customer service, 15 minute coaching phone sessions and limited food and bar options, no premade shakes. These people are incompetent liars who DO NOT care about their customers.

Been a member for Jenny Craig for many years. I was told they were purchased by a new company and are now online only. After signing up for the meals, I discovered that the ordering process was clunky and difficult. I decided to cancel and this after my 2nd order. After searching their website for a half hour, I could not find any method to cancel. Even the FAQs do not reference how to cancel, so I had to call customer service. I spoke to the rep who informed me that calling was the only way to cancel. When asked why this was not spelled out on the website, I was given a very weak response that family members could cancel a clients, so they needed to hear from their customer directly. Seriously!!! Find another company for weight loss, these guys don't care about their customers like the old Jenny Craig.

I was a lifetime member of Jenny Craig when they had retail stores. So sorry when they were bought by Nutrisystem and became online only. They now have a very limited selection of foods in each category and deleted many that I personally enjoyed. Additionally, they seem to have changed the recipes in several items, not for the better. But probably my biggest complaint is the delivery time. Four days after ordering and they still haven’t shipped it out. Why can’t they ship out faster? I have committed to a year of Club Jenny which allows me to order a la carte with a $20 shipping charge per order so hoping they can improve shipping efficiency and perhaps add some new items.

Jenny Craig is a horrible company. I would give no stars. I signed up for a 14-Day x2 meal plan. I prepaid for the two 14 day shipments because it was "cheaper" to prepay. After the first shipment I knew I did not want to renew the plan so I logged in to my account to cancel the auto-renewal. Since I prepaid I still had one 14-day shipment left. I changed the meal options for that delivery because I did not like 1/2 the meals from the 1st shipment. I received a confirmation email for the changed meal options & a seperate confirmation email for the cancellation of the plan renewal.
In the generically generated email it stated "If we are to issue you a refund you will receive it in 7-14 days. I thought, "Oh maybe I'm getting a refund for half the prepaid meals instead of them shipping the last meal shipment." This was June 9th. I hadn't received a refund or my last shipment after 4 weeks. I thought I would receive one or the other but instead received neither. So Jenny Craig took my money & didn't send the second meal shippment I already paid for. I called JC customer service & explained the situation. They said "Jenny Craig NEVER issues refunds & we have no record of an email being sent to you that would mention the possibility of a refund". I let them know I still had the email & could forward it to them.
I also let them know I wasn't expecting a refund, I was expecting either the refund or my 2nd meal shipment, which I had not received either, so if JC never issues refunds, where is my meal shipment? Customer Service said "You cancelled renewing the plan a month ago so we can no longer see your account as active in order to see what is going on with whether a 2nd shipment was sent or not." Customer Service told me they would have to transfer me to another Customer Service department to receive any further help. I was transferred.
Once again this Customer Service rep said "Jenny Craig NEVER issues refunds. When you cancelled the renewal payment the rep should have let you know". I explained that I was able to cancel the renewal online via my JC account & there wasn't any information stating my second shipment would be cancelled or I would not received a refund of any kind. I was then told that the "solution" for Jenny Craig would be that they would resend the 1st meal plan order & that would cover the 2nd meal plan shipment. I didn't want the exact order I received from the 1st shipment because I didn't like 1/2 the meals. I had already changed the meal options via my account so I should have received a 2nd shipment with the updated meal changes.
Customer Service said the order is in & no changes can be made. At the end of the day Jenny Craig does not have any quality customer service attributes at all. That's fine you NEVER issue refunds (as I was told over & over), however, I prepaid for a service and Jenny Craig decided not to fulfill that service. Mind you I was kind enough to wait 4 weeks & received nothing. I then wasted 30 minutes on the phone trying to see what was going on while having the blame placed on me. This is my experience & I understand everyone should form their own opinions, however, I would NEVER recommend Jenny Craig to anyone. They have a fixation on money and a lack of care for the individual.

My daughter was on Jenny Craig when they had storefronts a few years back, so we decided to have her try it again after some college weight gain, but the online experience is awful. The food comes in dry ice, which burned her hands and nothing on the website notifies you in advance (the food did not come like this in the stores). Also, no one contacted her to start the program or tell her what calorie program to start with based on her current weight. It was just pay for food, get it through the mail in giant boxes a couple of weeks later, burn your hands and you’re on your own! Extremely disappointed and we miss the employees and storefront.

An absolute piece of crap food, I end up in an ER two times with indigestion. The company is good just to take your money. After 8 weeks of subscription they continue charging my account for another two weeks even if I sent them an email saying that I would like to cancel everything and that I even didn’t agreed in the first place for them to continue charging me. Btw they don’t have an option for clients to cancel online and if it is a weekend or holiday you can’t cancel it even if you send them emails. When you try to cancel they make you wait indefinitely, time in which you are listening an entire Mozart concert but when you want to place an order they are answering right away. I did that to cancel the “subscription” since nobody is answering you anyway. So please avoid this scam of a company with any price . BTW… I lost 9 pounds in eight weeks, but what was I expecting since they are feeding you junk food like pastas and potatoes… the meat is nowhere to be found.

This company used to be my go-to way to have quick and easy food that would also help with weight management. Since it switched ownership - it has been nothing but a problem. The computer system failed twice to update a delivery order date, and I had to pay a lot of money for food that sat on my porch and went bad while I was out of town. The customer service representative was absolutely rude both times. The first time I was refunded after being berated by the representative, but the second time he refused and wouldn't allow me to send my confirmation email that said I had changed the date. I was already considering canceling because some of the food delivered to me had broken plastic and were past their best buy dates on delivery, but being treated poorly by the customer service representative was the final straw. Don't give your money to a company that couldn't care less about its customers.

Shipments started out predictable then got progressively worse. My last order is currently 2 weeks late (so I’ve been off the diet for 2 weeks). Tracking shows the order was never picked up but customer service says no refund only reshipment but there hasn’t been enough time to pass to reship. Food would not be editable after such a delay and one cannot stick this diet with such delays. So I find the service unreliable and customer service uncaring and unhelpful.

I joined the intermittent fasting program less than one month ago and received my first order quickly. I then went to order again and my shipping charge was $20.00 for an over 125.00 purchase. I emailed Jenny Craig and they said I must make a purchase over 100.00. I told them I did and they said it would be free shipping. When I tried to order again with a purchase of 135.00 it showed a $20.00 fee. When I questioned them with a second email they said I have to make a $200.00 purchase to get free shipping. I said your last email said $100.00 which is very confusing. Jenny Craig offered no reply and I advised them I was extremely unsatisfied and wanted to cancel my membership. They said they would not refund my membership but could cancel my auto-renewal. I said their advertisement seems fraudulent in nature and that I would post a Google review so that no other customer falls into this trap.

I have done Jenny Craig off and on for 20 years. I had a hip replacement six weeks ago and gained some weight and wanted to do the program again. On my second day of food I had the molten lava cake for my dessert. Half way through eating it I bit down on something hard. When I inspected it closer it turned out to be a small fingernail. Like how could this be possible. I’m not sure how these these meals are being prepared, but at the very least gloves should have been worn. I am baffled. Their phone number doesn’t connect to a live person, just an online chat. They didn’t seem very concerned. Not sure about any of their food at this point. Buyer beware! Not impressed with the “new” Jenny Craig. Never again!

I really wanted to give this review because Jenny Craig does work however you have to have realistic expectations for the food, the cost and the process of weight loss. I have done Jenny on and off for many years and the reason I have continued is because I did not change my habits while on the program. If you utilize the program and make permanent changes to your eating habits and exercise you will not have to do the program over and over. I would not say the food is overly delicious or terrible. It's regular frozen food. They just control your portion size which is something many of us have no clue how to do. Jenny craig has many options for food and as another review said you just need to get creative with your food and add lots of veggies to improve the portions without really messing up your calorie intake.
Things to consider before starting the program is cost and will you stick to it because it can be costly, however if you break down the price per day you will see that it actually is cheaper than what you probably spend normally in a day on food, drinks and snacks (I mean 1 coffee or 1 meal out to eat covers your cost of all jenny food for the day). It is all about how bad you want it and how much will power you have to stick with it just like any program. Jenny gives you the tools to teach yourself how to eat healthy and control portions.
I have heard many people say they became bloated had headaches or had some other concerning "side effect" when starting jenny food. In my own personal experience those are usually people with either preexisting health conditions who should not be doing the program or whom are not fully on board mentally to get on the weight loss journey.
When deciding on whether or not to do ANY program just remember mentally you need to be there for it to work. Jenny Craig is not "MAGIC" food that will melt the fat off. It is a program that is giving you the tools and examples (healthy food, portion control) to be successful in your own personal journey. It is not for everyone, But, it does work when followed as intended. Lastly, I would just like to say everyone is always trying to make a fast buck and all the extras you don't need (bars, shakes or anything else), follow the 3 meals and 1 jenny snack drink LOTS of water and get your 30min of exercise daily and don't cheat you will be successful. I received my first shipment with this company on Jan 16th of 2024. I subsequently removed my credit card information and received calls to update my payment information so that there would be no disruptions to my deliveries. Several months passed and on 03.11.2024 they assessed my credit card that was previously charged for my first shipment, for two charges of 349.99 USD. I did not authorize these payments and they tried to force me to accept a shipment that was not even delivered or left the FedEx company.
Only a label was created and the order wasn’t even received by FedEx and they refused to provide me with a refund. I was on call with multiple customer representatives and then they said they could give me a 50 percent discount. Given that they had charged my credit card without my authorization I refused to accept their 50 percent discount and wanted the 100 percent discount. They took several hours to try to resolve it and in the end, tried to force me to accept their 50 percent discount. I refused and filed a dispute with my credit card company. I believe this company is a scam and will be fighting to get my money back. Nothing less than 100 percent.

I paid $549.98 to have 28 days of meals shipped to my home. They are supposed to specialize in making sure you have all your meals delivered on time. I officially will run out of food at lunch today. I contacted the company and their suggestion was to go by their Meals on Your Own suggestion. Well, I'm not ready for meals on my own yet AND I paid in full to make sure I would receive 28 consecutive days of meals. Their suggestion has deli meat, seafood, and many more items I WILL NOT EAT. This is a poor way to do business and now I have to spend additional money to feed myself. The reason I started this program is not only because I want to lose a few pounds, I hate cooking and going to the grocery store to feed ONE.

Do NOT waste your money. New company bought a great brand/product but has made interacting with them impossible. I waited a half hour to speak to a supervisor and was ultimately told no one was around. They took my money for a prepaid plan but will not let me purchase the necessary breakfasts... the old company was terrific... don't be duped by this new company which is pretending to be the old Jenny Craig it is NOT!

I have done Jenny Craig a couple of times but always had to stop due to the cost. This type of program works well for me and JC food was always so much better than Nutrisystem and others I've tried. I was on the JC program when they went bankrupt and sold the JC to the same company that owns Nutrisystem. I liked JC because the food is good and does not use so many sugar artificial sweeteners like NS. I am on JC now for 4 more weeks and then I will not buy anymore. The food is now tasting very much like NS and the recharge bars are worse than before. It's too bad because it was so much better before, and kept me satisfied. I still have another 30lbs to lose. But JC did help me get off 30lbs already so I'm happy about that. Bye Bye Jenny. Thanks for the weight loss.

I ordered and prepaid for 6 weeks of meals for my wife and myself. At the end of the 6 weeks I received an email stating another order was preparing for shipment. I was surprised and immediately logged into my account and cancelled this. A few days later my wife received an email stating an order had shipped.. I called Jenny Craig customer service and asked why an order shipped after I had cancelled. I was informed that we actually had 2 accounts not linked to each other and my wife's account had not been cancelled. After a great deal of frustrating discussions the supervisor stated that there is nothing he can do and the order can not be stopped or returned.. They expect payment for meals we did not order or authorize for shipment,, This is a scam....

The recharge bars reminds me a block of chewing tobacco. The 190 calories are not worth the taste. I called Jenny Craig, the rep told me that I couldn’t substitute or receive a credit. I still have three weeks left on my prepaid plan meaning I have 3 boxes coming my way that I will be tossing because I can’t stand the taste of these bars.

Having tried every other diet (with the exception of GOLO which is a scam) I decided to give Jenny Craig a whirl. I was at my top weight and feeling sluggish and almost disabled by the pounds I have gained! Three weeks in I have lost 16 lbs, and this is very doable. The food is excellent and with a little tweaking (adding Zuchini noodles or cauliflower rice to meals to improve serving size) I am surprisingly satisfied by the portions. I had given up, but now have new hope. I appreciate the help and advice I have gotten from my coaches. You must be willing to prep veggies because the meals are small and somewhat boring if not, but overall I feel this will work for me.

I have just finished my second week of Jenny Craig diet food. During the first week, I began to notice tummy troubles, some cramping, and some bloating. I didn't mention it because I thought maybe it was just part of the weight loss process and adjusting to the highly processed foods. The second week it was really acute. As soon as I had the recharge bars and the first day of meals, I had severe abdominal cramps and wild diarrhea. I stopped the program for 3-4 days to calm my system down and yesterday I felt a lot better so I began the bars and meals again. Holy moly!
Today I was in writhing pain from the abdominal cramps, felt like vomiting, and then the explosive diarrhea started. I actually exploded into my clothes while trying to get back in the door from dog walking. I feel weak and ill. I have thrown out all the rest of the food. I don't know if I got a bad batch or your food is just so processed and horrible that it made me so severely ill. I have NEVER had this kind of pain and this diarrhea in my life and I am 54 years old. I have been very healthy until now. The plan is extremely expensive, I paid $164 for the first week and then $186 for the second week (including $20 delivery the second week). I am stunned and horrified by what Jenny Craig food has done to me.
I contacted their customer service and was told that no refunds are issued. Not even an apology was issued. This company sells poisonous "foods" to people who are trying to better their lives and sacrifice such a high cost of money and health for a lie. For the record, I have no food allergies. I have never in my life had a reaction to foods, I have even eaten Jenny Craig foods briefly about 15-20 years ago (when the quality of the food seemed at least palatable and did me no damage, not like this time).
The onset was gradual, during the first week of foods, my abdomen got increasingly uncomfortable, tight, bloated, and spasms of pain, and by the second week it was extreme. The food did not taste "off" or rotten, or I would not have consumed it. In general, it is just of poor, processed, inedible quality. My diarrhea and pain settles down after 2-3 days after stopping consuming your crappy food. OVERALL, PLEASE KEEP YOUR MONEY and just do a sensible, intermittent fasting and caloric reduction of your own fresh, clean, unprocessed foods in moderate portions. Please stay away from this very deceptive and manipulative company that sells garbage labeled as food in wasteful excessive packaging that is of better quality than the contents.

I was so gung-ho about losing weight, got a new scale, walked 2 miles a day, and paid $180 a week for Jenny Craig. After two weeks only lost 1.3 pounds. The coach was not very helpful and when I called for a refund I was denied. My advice to you is join a program that guarantees weight loss! Do not go with Jenny Craig. They’re only in it for the money!

When I was a JC client, I found some of the foods were not gut friendly. Some had artificial colorings and the sodium counts were sometimes too high. In addition, during one of our meetings I told the moderator that I'd measured the calories, by weight, and found that in some cases your daily intake was less than 1000 calories. Not a healthy sustainable plan.

The consultant I met with had lost forty pounds on the diet and that inspired me. I started with the Rapid Results and I loved some of the foods I thought I'd hate. Their Tuna fish salad, broccoli and cheese potato, chicken fettuccine, chicken fajitas, cheesy egg and bacon, sunshine sandwich, which is an English muffin with egg white and Canadian bacon were all delicious. The Beef Merlot is better than any steakhouse! The tuna salad I could eat every day, although it's not that filling. Just add lettuce leaves and you'll be really full. I found the bourbon beef a little chewy and preferred the cheeseburger. There are tons of foods to choose from! Be careful not to eat a week's worth of desserts in two days like I did. The chocolate lava cake rivals any Five Star restaurant. So enjoy that scenario because you can't dine out.
I loved that I didn't have to cook and when my meals and snacks were finished I'd get out of the kitchen! No guesswork or prepping food here, which is why I did not do well on Weight Watchers. Please don't think of Nutrisystem as the food was just awful! If you enjoy cooking, purchase or find online JC's recipes which you easily make for yourself or family. If you're still hungry there are always lots of free foods allowed but do so carefully. I'd snack on celery sticks, fennel, broccoli, cauliflower and a small side salad. Don't forget to add spices. Fruits are allowed and again choose high fiber which will satisfy you much more. Bottom line are results and I'm so proud that I lost sixteen pounds in one month! I switched to a more basic program now and I'm still losing a few pounds a week. My blood sugar levels are not all over the place and I feel such hope for the first time that I can do this!

I tried Jenny Craig for a year. I like that they work with your progress on a one-on-one basis 1x/week. All their food is delicious! The drawback for me aside from the high cost of the initial fee the food was expensive. I lost weight 1 - 2 lbs (sometimes), per week. I just didn't feel it came off fast enough. My mom joined with me and they her on on a lower calorie diet plan and she was more successful than me. I asked if I could go on her plan. They said it wasn't right for me of which I disagreed. After struggling with my weight loss feeling like they were stretching it out so I could keep going back, I stopped going.

I was hungry the entire time. The portions are tiny and the food was prepared so once you stop buying the food (which is expensive) you easily put the weight back on. There was very little personal touch. I purchased a 'lifetime' membership and they lost the paperwork and said I did not have it.

Ordered Rapid Results Max after seeing a TV ad. Starting to feel like that was a mistake. It didn't ship immediately, and when it did arrive it had spent nearly 6 days in transit, at which point I asked for a replacement as the frozen items were no longer frozen, and did not meet USDA recommended travel times for food items to prevent foodborne illness. It's been a pain even getting someone to respond, and feels like a relay game. The local center told me they used Doordash to send orders for $5.99 delivery. I asked customer service if my replacement order could be shipped using that, and of course nobody responds. I follow up, still no response. 10 days after ordering, I'm still waiting to even get started. Their food is pricey enough without having to make people jump through hoops to even get in touch with them. It seems like nobody on the customer service side even knows what's going on.
I probably should have known this was scammy when their website lists on the homepage "Lose up to 17 lbs in 4 weeks", then below that "Average weight loss is 13 lbs for Rapid Results Max", then on the plans page "Members lose an average of 11 lbs".... If the plan actually worked, they probably wouldn't be listing different studies and averages all over their website for the exact same plan.
Also worth noting: I haven't been able to find a single review other than here that doesn't state they were given "promotional consideration" for posting the review. Yikes. So, all in all, not thrilled so far. The rep I spoke to at my local center was really nice, but the customer service side and the overall experience of actually getting my order has been a complete disappointment.

Jenny Craig is very expensive, at this date, 12 to 20 dollars a DAY for their services. I bought a lifetime membership with Jenny Craig. They lost it, have repeatedly had to show them my evidence and in this last move, I lost that, and they still have no record of my membership, they kept nothing. They kept redirecting me to a new account despite my saying "no". I have no faith in this company anymore. I give up on them, not worth it.

I ordered this food becuse I had gained so much weight staying home eating during Covid-19 lockdown. MY experience with the first customer service rep was that I was not given the correct information. Therefore, I was sent assorted meals, many of which were awful and I had to throw away. My dog did not even eat them. When I called I found out that I could pick my meals, which is what I wanted. The woman I talked with was genuine phoney, giving me all kinds of different prices. I tried to tell her I just wanted to order my own meal, she was sooooo difficult and confusing and snotty. I finally gave up. This is not a good company to help you lose weight. They have no empathy or listening skills and just try to sell you the most food they can. I DONOT RECOMMEND ANYONE GO HERE FOR COUNSELING HELP WITH WEIGHT OR TO ORDER FOOD. STAY AWAY.

I joined JC almost 2 months ago and started the program with great enthusiasm. The food taste is okay but the food is too salty, full of preservatives, and nutritiously poor! It’s expensive too, the receptionist never greets you with hello or a nice word, the “consultant“ rushes you in and out within 10 min. Some people may lose weight on this program, for me this food is unhealthy, I am also feeling sensitive to some of its ingredients, makes me feel bloated and unwell. Before you fall for great advertising, be careful, this food is not healthy!

Yes, the food is good. But I actually gained weight on Jenny Craig. And I was severely constipated. But the kicker was the poor customer service. My boxes arrived late. I did not get emails when they were coming and when I called was told to expect delays of 5-7 days due to Covid19. I think when people sign up they should be aware of this. I was on autoship specifically, because I believed they would help me get my orders on time. Also, Jenny Craig online is not the same as Jenny Craig locally, those are franchises. The franchises may provide a better experience. I canceled after a few weeks.

Pros: The food is good and the diet itself is easy to follow. Cons: Not only is the food expensive, but shipping is $29.00 and orders did not arrive in a timely fashion. I also pay $19.00 membership fee so in effect I am paying $48 in addition to food costs, and am unable to get food in time. Since you primarily eat only their food, not getting the order as promised causes disruption to the diet itself. I requested that the $29.00 fee be credited to the next purchase to make up for the disruption and was told no. Customer service was not helpful and I am waiting to hear from management. I will likely be canceling membership.

The food is absolutely disgusting and super difficult to cancel your membership! Don't do it!! Call center workers don't have any answers or know how to do anything. They won't cancel your membership and make you call more than once with extremely long wait times. I had very direct questions and was given very indirect answers. The whole company is a joke.

I have done the Jenny Craig program twice. (I didn't learn my lesson the first time.) First the pros: 1. You WILL lose weight. Now the cons:
2. The real cost. The food is VERY expensive.
3. Nutrition. The food is high in sodium and sugar in some cases. You are just eating this in small quantities. They do follow the Canada Food Guide, but again you are just eating small portions of unhealthy food.
4. The food is generally awful. Picture the worst airplane food in your freezer.
5. You are not learning better eating habits. You are continuing eating unhealthy food but in small quantities.
6. You are HUNGRY all the time. 1200 to 1500 calories, especially this type of food, is very difficult to do.
7. Because you are not learning better eating habits, it doesn't take long to regain the weight after you end the diet.
8. Customer service. The first time I went on this diet she upsold me to the ~$400 three year maintenance program. After one week of eating the terrible food I realized the poor nutrition was not good for me and went back to see if I could get my money back. (Not for the food, for which I had already paid $300 for 2 weeks) just for the maintenance. As soon as they realized I was done with the program, there was absolutely no warmth or friendliness and I was simply told that there were no refunds.
So why did I go back years later? As I said, you WILL lose weight. I went back hoping that they had changed their food and philosophy but it was the same thing. This time I only paid for one month of support and one week of food, which I ended up only eating half of. Never again. Honestly, if you want to lose weight you need to change your lifestyle. Some frozen dinners is not going to make you healthy in the long run. Here is the formula for losing weight (and believe me, I have tried them all): EAT LESS AND MOVE MORE. Simple. Oh and stay away from the DNA thing. You NEVER EVER want to give away your DNA, Companies are being paid very highly for DNA. Don't fall for it. Good luck.

I paid for the lifetime membership many years ago (almost 20). When I went in to enroll today, I was told that it expired. I guess my lifetime should be... over?? So then, I asked what it would cost to just enroll now under a new plan. My options were to pay "about $20 per month" after a 60 day free period, or a flat $149 for 24 months. The food cost was more than double other diet plan options. I was told the costs average out to $25 a day. I was very disappointed in my attempt to return to Jenny. Not the same company. :(

I’ve been on the Jenny Craig program since January 24, 2020 when I received my first food delivery. I am on the 60-day plan and I am scheduled to receive two weeks' worth of food every other Friday. My second delivery was supposed to arrive on Friday, February 7th. However, the package was delayed with an expected arrival date of Monday, February 10th. As the delivery includes frozen, perishable items, I will now receive a new order which is expected to arrive Wednesday, February 12th. This means I will be off the program for five days due to all the delays. The only difference I found was that my first order was shipped out 2 days prior to delivery, while the second order was shipped 1 day prior. Both were shipped via UPS Ground.
I contacted customer service and their response was they could not control shipping delays. However, I find the company’s response unsettling. Part of my weight loss journey is to remain consistent and to follow the plan I’ve paid hundreds of dollars to receive. In this instance, I cannot consistently follow the program if Jenny Craig cannot deliver on time.

For a diet plan, I have no complaints about the food taste, but I do wish they offered more allergen-free choices. Gluten-free, dairy-free, soy free, etc. My biggest issue, however, lies with Jenny Craig's poor packaging practices. I wish the company would use more environmentally friendly packaging to not only package their food, but mail their products as well. The HUGE STYROFOAM shipping crates are not recyclable and most their frozen meals come in plastic wrappers, plastic containers and waxed cardboard boxes. I would love to see the company move to more sustainable products such as sugar cane or wheat fiber compostable bowls/trays, less plastic/cardboard and NO MORE STYROFOAM!! Come on Jenny - It's 2020 and it's time to update your packaging!! I already feel guilty enough about my weight. It's not necessary in this day and age for me to feel guilty about your packaging too!

Food tastes good, but... while the food tasted good, I was left after every frozen meal with stomach cramping and diarrhea. I’ve eaten diet frozen meals before and have never had such a bad reaction. Bummer, because the few meals I did eat tasted good. I was careful to make sure I wasn’t allergic to any ingredients on the labels. Customer service sadly wasn’t any help.

I believe in Jenny Craig's product. It's fantastic and great. Also, my personal consultant was very supportive and very knowledgeable. But she got another job and I received a phone call recently where Jenny Craig assured me that they are working on getting a replacement for her. That was a nice thing to hear. They were helping customers since I was losing my consultant I've had for nine months. So they've given me some comfort level that they are not leaving me high and dry, and I understand.
Other than that, I have totally changed my life, not only physically, but mentally since I started using Jenny Craig. I've lost about 62 pounds and everything changed for me when I lost that weight. It's not just the product and the food that helped. I've lost the physical weight, but they've taught me a new and healthier way of living. They've given me the confidence that I can continue to maintain it on my own when I finally get to my goal. They also taught me a new way of eating and that has given me just as much for myself, a different way of enjoying my life now that I'm healthier. And I never expected to have those kind of results. So I still got a little bit more to go, but not that much. My husband joined, too. He started on his own and lost 20, but now, he's lost a total of 55. So he lost 35 on Jenny Craig.
Aside from that, the quality of their meals is very good. Surprisingly enough, when you don't know what you're getting yourself into, it's real food and for the most part, I haven't had any issues in terms of consistency of the meals. Though sometimes, somethings were a little off from what I'd normally get. But I've been on this for nine and a half months and that only happened four times. They even have little ways where you can change the food up a little bit, so I've learned some of that stuff as well. They also change their products every season, so that's good. They have a Facebook group online and a lot of us have talked about how some of the products have been. For example, they pulled the pizza, which we really loved.
As I understand, they have a nutritionist and what they provide is a nutritionally balanced meal. They do a work-up in the beginning and work out what your height, weight, and exercise threshold are. Then they do a calculation internally and come up with what do you need to lose. So it's a calorie based program and you're not limited. Every meal has a little bit of carbs, even if it's just vegetables. Sometimes it's real carbs, like rice, but it's not pseudo or any of these things like Atkins. I know about them but I've never tried them. With Jenny Craig's food, you don't feel like you're missing anything and you're not being deprived of anything. They have a little bit of everything.

The meals at Jenny Craig have a good variety. Some of them I love and some of them could be better. I can't get everything 100% satisfaction on all the meals but I do like the fact that we can change the stuff that we absolutely don't like. I would like a little more ethnicity in the cuisines, like Chinese or Mexican, and more vegetarian options. Right now, the vegetarian options are really limited. If at all, Jenny Craig has a vegetarian joining, they're gonna get really bored with the options pretty soon. But some of my favorite meals are the ham and swiss baguette or the tuna salad, the beef merlot or the smoked carnitas, the ranch melt and the chicken ranch melt. Some of those are my favorite. I love carbs.
At Jenny Craig, there are no food restrictions on the diet plan and that's important for me because I want to eat everything including sweet items. I don't believe in giving up items when it comes to food control because then what happens when you binge the next time? I do get portion control but it was important that whichever plan I choose would have all the food groups.
So far, things are working great. I have been able to fit into my clothes that I've kept in my cupboard for the past four years. Those clothes are now loose too, so I regret the previous size clothes that I gave away. I had clothes ranging all sizes. But I don't have any more clothes in my closet. Carrie, my personal consultant, is fantastic too. She is very upbeat and she encourages us all the time. There are times when like right now, I'm in a plateau and I keep focusing on why I'm not losing weight but she always draws attention to how much weight I have already lost. It's just those small things that help us focus on what we need to do as well as her sunny personality that impresses me.

I wanted to lose my weight and just needed some help having a meal, steps of everything accordingly. My mom used to use Jenny Craig many years ago and since I was in an urgent need of losing weight, I got an offer from the TV announcement so that was who I went through. When I went in there the first time, I wanted to be seen on the same day and at the same time that I was there ‘cause that was my availability. But I was turned off. They told me that I couldn't because I would have to set up an appointment and so I did. I was only available like on a weekend so I did it on a Saturday. But that’s my experience for the beginning.
The weekly that I was there, my service was on a Sunday, I was able to go early in the morning, get everything done, and then that would start my whole week. The food and the new stuff that I even tried were all excellent. I was six months in the program, but it's been two months already that I stopped, and the reason was that I’m under a doctor’s care, whereas I'm not able to consume a lot of dairy products at this moment. I spoke to the person that attends to me about it and nothing has been said as of now. I paid for a membership for the whole year or two and I wanted to see if, because there is a medical reason, not being able to continue to proceed, or if there’s something that they can do, or get my money back. I haven’t heard anything since then.
If there’s a time and place where Jenny Craig can receive a customer right there and then, like “Hey, this is what we have. At this moment, we cannot attend to you, but here are all these documents and paperwork. You're welcome to come back on your appointment if you really want it,” it would be an option that they might wanna consider. If I really wanted right there and then, I would have gone to someone else ‘cause I didn't have that. But because of the benefits that I had and because Jenny Craig is right around the corner of my house, I’m 10 minutes away, I waited a whole week to get an appointment set up. Overall, I would recommend them.

I really like the convenience of having the Jenny Craig menu and that I can have my meals all planned out for me. All of the meals, basically, is really good. I enjoy the breakfast but I’m not really crazy on the fried chicken. My consultant assists me with how I need to have my menu tailored a little bit. She’s good and she does what she needs to do. We did measurements at first and we talked about what were the expectations and opportunities. And the program has been very successful for me. I’ve lost over 25 pounds in a year and I’ve lost lots of inches.

After a very long process of choice, Jenny Craig's weight loss program is a little bit more attractive and I went with it. Everything is good. With a few exceptions on the meals, it was surprisingly good overall. I'm not a very picky guy and so if I don't like cookies, then I don't take cookies. Everything else, I can eat. So, it's very simple. The program is not completely finished yet, but I'm very, very close to my goal now. And if it will stay like right now, then it will be great.

I did the Jenny Craig program several years ago and I heard about it through a friend who did it. I made a decision to take some weight off. I went in and faced the scale and both times I’ve done the program, the representative has been professional, kind, understanding and encouraging. So, overall, the initial interactions were excellent. The weekly visit keeps you accountable but I’ve been on the program for over a year and I’m starting to backslide. It’s hard to go in and face the music when you haven't followed the program but at the same time, once I get in there and I meet with my representative, I get an encouraging tone. The weekly visits are great because you’re going in, you know you’ve lost weight and everything’s good. It’s a little tougher when you’re struggling but still beneficial in that they provide encouragement.
The results are terrific if you follow the program and I like Jenny Craig because I like getting three meals, snacks and even a dessert. That’s how I eat and I can’t do tricks. So, with the program, the food is great. A lot of people talk to me about Jenny Craig and since I’m a private person, in the beginning, I didn't tell anybody I was on it, other than my family and close friends. I would hide my Jenny Craig container from people I work with and just bring my entrée in to heat up in the microwave and then put it on a real plate. As time went on, there were so many people doing so many things, Keto and Whole30 and Weight Watchers and the other one with Marie Osmond, and I started talking about it.
People were very interested because they wanna know what you’re eating. It’s appealing to a lot of people that you don’t even feel like you’re on a diet because you’re not really on a diet but on an eating program. So, I encouraged people to check it out. Jenny Craig can accommodate diabetics and I’ve encouraged a friend who’s a diabetic to try it because he’s not having success with anything he does. It’s a worthwhile program to share with people. It’s good and it has been around a long time and people are familiar with the name.

I stopped doing Jenny Craig early this year. The program has been successful for people and Jenny Craig has that proof. My husband also lost his weight and hit his goal. And I did the same amount of time with him. I had been on the plan for a year and I only lost three pounds. I know women and men differ though. Men seem to lose it faster than women do. However, I’m not a typical individual who gained all this weight by eating food. I gained it because of the side effects of high doses of medication for my cancer. But I’m not the only one in this world who has suffered due to medical reasons. I just wanna look the best I can look in the body that I have. Everybody deserves that, especially when you’re paying somebody to help you get there.
I chose Jenny Craig because it was convenient, and it was. I also really liked our coach, Beverly, over in Southlake but we moved and it was closer to go here in Bedford but I really wasn’t really impressed with this location. The consultant was okay but I didn't like hearing that the cost of the food was cheaper in Bedford than in Southlake. The food was good though. My husband is even thinking that he’s gonna go back on Jenny Craig.

Jenny Craig has been my go to diet for the last 30 years since it opened in Canada. The food was the draw & always kept me coming back because it tasted great & was portioned. The last time I was in was 2016. Yes, I’m a serial dieter but you like people like me. So, to my surprise coming back in 2019 to HIG Holdings to have purchased it and now the food tastes horrible! They got rid of all the regular favourites that brought Canadians back & introduced food that has smaller portions, swims in gravy, introduced too many Mexican spicy peppery meals that taste like nothing, and changed the packaging so that you now have bumps in your bowl meals so you can’t even eat from the bowl because you want it to appear like there’s more food.
You are more concerned with selling than with the fact that good food is what sells & keeps bringing people back. I’m afraid my love affair with Jenny is over & I will never recommend it nor come back. Unless you go back to how Nestle produced its food. Take a lesson. Learn about the food industry. All your other business are just that- other businesses!

My experience with Jenny Craig has been good. It was recommended to me by somebody at work and their consultants were very good. I was in their program for about a year and I've seen progress. Their menu plan was easy enough. I just went in and got whatever weeks’ food they told me I was up for, and the ravioli was my favorite. However, it was getting to be too costly and I’ve been able to maintain my weight so I’ve not gone in a couple months. Except for the cost, Jenny Craig would be ideal. I’d still be on it.

I liked how Jenny Craig's weight loss program was very structured and there is a one-on-one counselor. I went with them and the consultant I had, Shannon, was fantastic. Thus far, I've lost weight and the meals have been of good quality. At first, I found that the portion sizes are so small. Now, I don't notice that anymore and it's a great thing that I've gotten used to the small portion size. Also, I like how I can substitute if there's something that I don't like. However, I'm over a lot of the food, even the ones that I like 'cause the meals have been the same thing for many months. There are four weeks of variety but then I start over again.

I just love the way the people at Jenny Craig care about you. They’re all personally invested – even my counselors – and they would carry my bags, because I’m 63. So they would carry your bag to the door if you need them to. They’re all beautiful, courteous gals. I couldn’t ask for a better group. The consultants are all wonderful. Right now, I have a girl named Donna. But before that, I had Debbie and she just motivated me every week. The best she did were to encourage me and to teach me how to get more active.
I stayed with the program for five years. My son was getting married in 2012 and I needed to lose 30 lbs. I had a friend who did Jenny Craig and she lost a lot of weight. So I did it and I lost 30 lbs. But then I got sick and my doctors told me I needed to put some weight on. I got cancer and I had chemo. So I took the weight on but I took it off. Just this month, I took off 30 more pounds. They consider me one of their heroes in the shop. When I was getting off the meal plan, I was afraid to eat store food because I thought I’d gain the weight back. It was so stupid. But the Jenny Craig meals are great. I even asked who makes it. I loved all the breakfast items and some of the lunches. Sometimes, I would order something over and over until I got tired of it. Then I would do the same to another thing. I would get obsessed with it. Like the little tuna and chicken salad – right now, that’s my go-to lunch.

I love Jenny Craig. They're great. I lost over 100 pounds with them. I went from a size nearly 16 to a zero. I saw Jenny Craig on a commercial on television, but I didn't think I could afford it because I had to buy the food. But I was able to afford it about two years ago, and I was getting so fat. I looked like a Goodyear blimp. So, I went in there and started their program. My councilor is the greatest.
Jenny Craig's menu plan is great. They change it every once in a while if you don't like something. I'm sort of on their maintenance diet now. Before I was on maintenance, I was only allowed to change three things. Now, I just put in what I want and I get it like that. But their food is fantastic. Their French toast is better than a restaurant. So, I've been having a great time with their menu. I don't eat a lot of regular food. Once a week, I'll eat a slice of pizza, but for the most part, I eat Jenny breakfast, I'll eat something that I want for lunch, and then I'll eat a Jenny dinner. For their snacks, there's this lava cake you put in the microwave for 22 seconds, and all the chocolate sauce comes out of it. It's like, "That's a diet?" I've been very happy on their menu. And I go once a week, get weighed in.
The counselors were wonderful. They're passionate, they really want you to succeed, and they help you out. I gained a couple of pounds this week and I was very upset, but they're compassionate and they really help you and they talk to you. And the food is really good. Some things aren't that great, but for the most part, 90% of it is fantastic. Even my husband likes some of it and he doesn't like food. So, it's a great plan and I'm so happy I went on it.

I had used Weight Watchers and lost weight, and then I gained some of it back. The points were very overwhelming and there were too many choices. I didn’t really like making my own food. I looked up Jenny Craig and saw how the food was just easy. I didn’t have to think. The menus were all right there and I could just follow it easily and pop them in the microwave. I like the breakfast a lot. I also like the coffee cake, the pancakes and the cinnamon rolls. I like the ranch melt too. For lunch, I like the spaghetti and the pizzas, but they're gone now. I really like the triple chocolate cheesecake, burrito and meatloaf. But I liked the meatloaf better with the ketchup before they changed it to the gravy.
I have Marie as personal consultant and and she's always very positive. She's always happy and very encouraging. She asks questions. She cares about me as a person when I tell her other things that are going on. She lets me pick days for the menu of my food. I like that because I'm really, really picky and I don’t like eggs. I pick seven days out of the whole month of menus. But what I don’t like is that there are so much eggs on there. I wish there were less because then a lot of my switches are due to the breakfast so I can't switch other things. I like the sweet desserts more than the snack desserts. Sometimes if it doesn’t match, that’s hard 'cause then I get stuck with a lot of snack stuff instead of the treat stuff because of the whole egg thing. But I made it work. And I've actually recommended Jenny Craig to people.

I've always heard about Jenny Craig on commercials and online, and for a long time, I've always been struggling with my weight and do the medicine and my weight always been going up and down, and also the stress. It's always been like a New Year's resolution to work out and to lose weight. Two years ago, I wanted to do it, but unfortunately, I broke my foot and I wasn't going to do it. I've heard that Jenny Craig was more easier to keep track of the food, and plus the food was more tastier, and also that you will be able to keep your weight off better than the other food. My grandma was on Nutrisystem, but after she lost the weight, she just gained it back as soon as she was off of it. So when I was all healed up, I decided to go with Jenny Craig on October of last year and start. I've been on it ever since then.
Kylie has been great with me and also my mom. We've gotten really close with her. And she's been helping me keep track of my weight and my diet each week. She's been on me constantly every week if I gained weight or if I haven't really lost any. She helps if I have any other food or something I can try that's low calories but also tastes good. She's been helping really good. The new employee has been helping as well and she's really nice too.
I love the menu plan. I'm on the low calorie ones and all the food is delicious. I keep myself on a schedule. I try to get up as early as I can, and I eat every two hours. I try to work out for like 30 minutes a day, for three or four times a week at best. I walk every day or at least three times a week on the treadmill, and stay on the menu as I can, and to not give in to any temptations. The menus are really good and Kylie tries to put as many food that I like as I can. We try to keep up like I can replace at least three things that I don't like and replace it with other food on a menu that I do like. Even with the new food that they bring in, they're just as good as the old food.
The first goal right now is to get down to 200 pounds. And my overall goal was to get down to at least around 134 for my height. When I first started, I was 276 and now, I'm down to 202. Jenny Craig is a really good diet and it's a really good experience. It is really life-changing. My family members have noticed that I looked like my old self. My aunt is now on it and she's losing weight as well.

I started with Jenny Craig's weight loss program on impulse and I was hopeful. The consultant I dealt with was very personable, and the weekly visits were very positive and motivational due to the fact that it was one-on-one. I was in the program for over a year and I was able to lose about 2 pounds a week. The menu plan was varietal and it was good. While I'm already not in the program anymore, it had been a great one. It does work.

I have been on Jenny Craig for 2 weeks with only 200g lost. Apparently if you don’t have much to lose it is harder to come off. I go to the gym 4 times a week as week as walk and ride my bike. I guess I have to give it time. Other than that the food is nice.

A friend and I did another diet and we lost a bunch of weight and gained some weight back. She told me that she was trying Jenny Craig and so far, she was having good results so it was very convenient for me to get to it. The lady that runs the center that I’m going to is great and it’s always nice to go there. The staff is efficient, friendly and helpful. Everybody is knowledgeable about what they're supposed to be doing.
The weekly visits are good because it keeps you accountable, which works better for me than just doing it on my own. Instead of dreading it, I look forward to it because I know that I’m gonna get good feedback. They make me feel that they're just as invested in it as I am. They don't just say, “Come in. What did you do? Okay, see you next week.” It’s very personal. When I feel I had a bad week, we talk about that or the plan. They're helpful if I’m trying to figure out what went wrong. And if it’s a really good week, they're just as excited as I am. I did another program before and it was stressful. Jenny Craig has been a much better experience for me and I’m having better results.
I started in January, but the first couple of weeks, I got distracted with my travel and work and I didn't really commit myself too much to it. I had lost 24 pounds, which was good. But this last week, I went out of town and gained a pound back. I’m working on that, but I’m 58, so it’s a little harder. When I did another program, Ideal Protein, I had success with it, but it was a lot harder to do and I don’t know if it was as healthy.
I’m surprised at how good Jenny Craig's food is and at the variety. I don’t like everything I’ve been eating though. There are a couple of things that if it is on my menu, I ask to swap it. It's is a great program and it makes it easier for you to eat right. With it, I’m full and don’t feel like I’m starving myself. With all the food, the bars, and the things you have in between, you don’t have to be hungry, so it’s an easy program. Also, I found a pamphlet that was interesting and helpful. And they have such a nice voicemail that makes you feel like these people are interested in helping you. I realize people have to go with what’s convenient, but the center that I go to is convenient. They're a cohesive group that works well and they have good personalities. It also helps that you’re a team. I’m the one doing it, but they're cheering me on. I’d definitely recommend Jenny Craig.

Jenny Craig worked for me and it's easy to follow. However, I've been on it on and off for quite a few years. As soon as you go off of it, it's very hard to keep the weight off if you don't follow their food program. They didn't show towards the end of the program how to prepare your own meals. I wish they would show regular food versus eating Jenny Craig food. That was always a downfall for me. But their meal program does work, that's why I keep going back to it. However, it's a little expensive, that's why I don't go back to it as often as I would like to. But I'd buy a week of food or something just to get back on track. Most of their food are very good and I like their frozen portion more. I did like some of the old food, but they stopped. They keep changing the bar, which is disappointing.
I liked Andrea, the one I dealt with when I went back a few years ago. She was excellent. Unfortunately, she had a loss in her family and she left. And then there was Francesca. She was excellent but she left too. When she left the place in Eastchester, the place changed. So I haven't been back. Majority of their consultants were very good. I had my favorite, but more or less, it worked. I haven't been back that often because it's more expensive, but their program works.

Jenny Craig is convenient versus other weight loss programs. But the program is a little expensive and not everybody can afford it. The personal consultant I have now is the third one I've had. The other two, one had been there for a while. And I think the first two left and went on to get different jobs, this one's been here for many years. We have great rapport with each other and she's really nice. They give me accountability.
I like the menu. I just think it needs to change more often. My have to haves are definitely breakfast. I love the breakfast. I like that it's becoming more protein based. To me, it seems heftier. My deserts are okay and my main meals are good. I really look forward to eating. And if it's a bad day for food, I'm like, "Bleh." If it's a switch out, they usually switch it out for shelf sustainable and that's a bummer. It's disgusting. And usually I switch the whole day for a different thing. I've been with Jenny Craig for a year, but I've had really rough summer. Nevertheless, I've lost weight, almost 40 pounds. I think it's just the consistency of being able to stay on plan and when I am in my routine, to stay on my routine.

I'm not with Jenny Craig anymore. I was off and on with them for three years and within those years, my personal consultant was great. I requested for her and used her for three different times I was there. I've had frozen meals and I like the pepperoni pizza the most. It tasted normal. But I never actually reached my goal, but of course, that’s my problem. I learned a lot though from talking to my person that called me, to be more aware of the food I was eating.

If you choose to lose weight using Jenny Craig products, you are better off finding a local store than ordering online and having it shipped. The online policy requires mandatory purchases and I am tired of the combat. When I purchase a dress, I don’t expect to be forced to buy shoes and a bag to match. My weight-loss goals were met two years ago. On maintenance, I only want to buy the food I need every three weeks. Because of a requirement to purchase shakes, snacks or bars, which I like but tend to have an overabundance of, they have lost $800-$900 a month in purchasing from me. Pretty expensive mandatory candy bar on their end, I think. The program works if you follow it. But don’t let yourself get ripped off. You are an adult and are therefore able to make your own decisions about what you purchased and what you do not purchase. So find a local place to go instead ordering online.

Someone in my aquafit class had been very happy with Jenny Craig. I started in January and I'm satisfied so far. I'd lost 25 pounds that I don’t think I would have lost otherwise. But it's not as fast as the advertising says. They say that you can lose 16 pounds in four weeks. It's more like a pound a week. Now, the biggest problem I'm having is I've plateaued, I've stalled after the 20. I'd still like to take off about another 15 pounds, but I seem to be stuck for the last couple of months.
My personal consultant gives tips like how much water to drink. I've been stuck on this for about two months and we haven’t moved very far. Jenny Craig has a lot of papers that they put out, both on the internet and they have them available in a store as well, and I've read all that materials. So, I've really kinda try and follow very closely to the program. The menu plan is okay. They have brought some improvements into some of the foods in the last couple of months. Some of them were pretty awful, but I think that somebody is trying to improve the quality of the food.
My favorite meal so far is the meatloaf. I stopped getting the desserts because I wasn’t eating them. So, I just had a backlog of the desserts. And as far as some of the breakfast, I'd rather cook an egg than have them. I seem to react a lot to green pepper and there's a lot of green pepper and cinnamon. Those are two things that I can't eat. I'm better off just having a poached egg or egg that I do myself rather than having the additives that I don’t digest well. But I still try and follow the day, like if it's an egg with vegetables mixed up, I will sauté some spinach or something and make an omelet. I didn’t do that at first. I stuck absolutely perfectly to it. But now, I have been trying to make the foods better for me, and maybe that’s why I plateaued. I was getting a lot of heartburn and things from the green pepper and there's a lot of green pepper each food. They did give me a list of how you can substitute, and I've used that pretty diligently.

I was on Weight Watchers at one point, I lost a lot of weight. When I was losing the weight for Weight Watchers, I had got laid off from my job, and I had time to cook. But I got frustrated on trying to figure out what I was gonna cook, and what was in it. I was reading this and I was looking at the points, and it was just too much. I work now for the Turnpike, and I’m very busy in the winter, and I need to already have something done, something I can pop in the microwave. Sometimes, I have to spend a night at my job. I plow the snow for the Turnpike, and we have to be here for days at a time. And Weight Watchers was not gonna work for that because I don’t have time to cook.
I was curious with Jenny Craig and wanted to see how the plan worked. I Googled it and made an appointment. My very first reaction a little intimidated because when I came into the office, I didn’t feel welcome. I started to turn around and go to another site because from what I saw it was only two people that was working. One was in the back with a client, and there was another person that was there in the front but they never even acknowledged me. I used to work in retail. And if I’m busy, I would acknowledge the person that’s standing next to them. You look up, you see the person, you put your head back down like the person’s not even standing there is rude. It’s very rude. But I sat there contemplating if I should stay or leave. I know I needed to do this to lose weight and Jenny Craig is the closest to my house. So I decided to stay and give it a chance.
The person that I’m working with is Stephanie. She’s been very good and very patient with me. My weight sometimes goes up and down, and she’s always been encouraging. I get a little discouraged if I go up a little, and she’d talk to me and encourage me. She would tell me maybe it was something that I’m not doing, or I’m not getting enough water. She takes that time to tell me that and try to keep me on track. And it makes me feel comfortable. But I had a problem with Lynn, the manager at the Edison office. I had to even call the headquarters because it was some issues with her, and I told them about it. I don’t know if it was ever addressed. I didn’t follow up on it.
Whenever I have to see Lynn, we’d talk about whatever’s going on with me, and that’s it. I just wanna get my good and go. One time I was there and I had a 9 o’clock appointment, but I didn’t get out of there until 12:00. But there was no one there but me and another guy. Lynn was there this particular time. She kept lying to me. I had paid extra money so that I won’t have to pay the full price, so I can get the 10%. And I asked her why was it so much? I never paid that much money before. She kept trying to blame it on the computer. I asked her what was going on and why was it taking me three hours to leave? I never had this problem and I never been there that long just to pick up.
When it came time for me to pay for my food, Lynn said it was 170. I told her that I was not paying $170 since I’ve been paying 150 or 160 at the most. She couldn’t remember if I had the 10%. I told her that she was the one that offered it to me. I paid the additional money so that I can keep the 10%, but now she was not gonna give it to me? She then put in my 10%. Majority of the time that I go into that office, and she’s there and she has to help me, I get a little crazy as far as in my head.
I hate when Stephanie is not there. For the next two Saturdays she won’t be there. So I have to deal with Lynn. There was another time I came in and Stephanie wasn’t there, and I spoke to Lynn. I have a system that I keep for myself. I remember things by the way I keep it in line. Lynn saw that I had numbered, and put the dates on top of the menu. But I don’t put them all the way across. I looked at Lynn, and then she takes and numbers the whole thing across the board. I asked her why would she do that? Just because she saw that all the numbers were on top, all the dates were on top of each day, didn’t mean for her to do it for me. I don’t want her to do it. I was so frustrated because I like to do it myself. I number it as I go. That way, I know I didn’t have that day because there’s not a date on it.
I keep my menu inside of a calendar, and I mark off each day that I collect all my food in the morning because I take enough with me to last me through lunch and snacks. And then when I go home, I have my dinner. And the way I do it in the morning, I put each calendar day, and I mark off the day on the calendar. I’ve been doing it since January, since I started the program. But Lynn messed me up a little bit that week.
I was put on a 1,500 count and the only thing Lynn did that was a good thing for me was putting me on the 1,200 count. So, that meant it took away a yogurt and a fruit from me. She told me that I could just have a fruit if I get hungry. I was eating a whole piece of fruit in the morning. My breakfast was a shake or either a yogurt. And then I have another piece of fruit. It was actually a little too much for me, and I wasn’t realizing. I noticed when I was on the 1,500, I was moving my weight more. But I wasn’t losing like I am now on the 1,200. The 1,200 gets me a little hungry, but if I get hungry, I can always go back in and grab the other half of the fruit that I had from the morning after I have my lunch.
I've lost about 32 pounds since January. I was 225, and I’m 193 now. And I really love the food. I don’t like everything. The peanut butter cookies and the lemon cookies are like wood. I can’t stomach them. But I like the fact that I can change at least three things on the menu. So, I scan the whole menu to make sure that I like everything. I’m getting used to the cinnamon rolls, they’re good. I try my best to keep up with going to Jenny Craig because it works for me. I already know what I’m gonna eat every day. I don’t have to stress about what I’m gonna eat, when I’m gonna eat, or I gotta cook this, I gotta cook that. I love the way that it’s so convenient. I will recommend Jenny Craig.

Donna, from Jenny Craig, was great. I have worked with one or two of the other consultants before, but Donna, by far, is the best. She's been my first from the beginning. But one time, I could only come on one day and Donna wasn't there. I had to meet with someone else. It's not that the person wasn't any good. She's good at what she does, and a lot of people love her. It was just we didn't click. I walked out and the next day I looked for Donna and said I will never meet with that other lady again. She goes, "Sharon, I'm so sorry." I said, "No, no, no. She's nice. It's just I like you."
Donna and I are friends now. We catch up on what's going on. She knows me and knows what I like. I go to their center every single week because I don't like any of the menu with peppers or onions, like Mexican food and they absolutely work with me. They get tossed out and we substitute something different. I've purchased all of their meals -- breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. But I don't like the menu at night, and Donna knows that. So I kinda substitute my own stuff. I like something sweet at night, not salty. So I do the fruits at night.
I like the breakfasts menu -- the country gravy scramble and the bacon egg skillet are my favorites. But I don't like the macaroni and cheese. And I'm a Southern girl, I like real macaroni and cheese. I also don't like that fried chicken thing with corn. But bulk of the food is good. The pasta dishes and some of those with beef are really good. The chicken margherita is the best. I do the chicken margherita now for my son and my husband. He said, "Honey, that's one of the best dishes you've ever made." Jenny Craig helped me because I've never been a great cook. But I'm able to adapt some menu to my home for the rest of my family and they loved it.
I'm not a big girl, but I hit 170 where I was always 130. That just freaked me out. Menopause did it. Right now, I'm in a 24-pound weight loss. Before 20 pounds, and then I extended it to 25, and now I've extended it to 30. So I have six pounds. I hadn't hit my goal for the summertime. I just stayed flat and Donna said, "Sharon, you're not the only one. Everybody is the same with cookouts and pool and vacations." I came back and scheduled when the kids came back to school. And since school has started, I've lost two more pounds. I've already recommended Jenny Craig to other people.

I did Jenny Craig in 2013, and it was so successful for me. I dropped about 30 pounds. It was great. And I found that this time, I dropped about 10 pounds, but it was getting a bit expensive for me. I just felt like I plateaued. I stopped my membership a couple of months ago. It just wasn't doing it for me this time maybe because I'm married now, whereas when I did it the last time, I was single, so there were no distractions and I was just doing it. But this time, it just wasn't. So, I decided to give it a break. I felt like for a good few months, I was maybe going up and down one pound.
The first time I did Jenny Craig, there was a young lady that was working there, and she was very positive and very energetic. I felt like she was driven, and she got me going. This time, there were older members working, and sometimes one of them just seems to be complaining a lot. I felt like it wasn't the same kind of energy as it was the first time I did it. But, overall, I would recommend Jenny Craig to all of my friends. The last time, it just got a bit stagnant for me. I needed a break for it.

I am a busy, professional, single mom of two. I decided to do Jenny Craig after researching other pre-prepared food diet plans and was talked into signing up for an "auto-ship" plan where I essentially paid for a whole month of food upfront that would be sent to me in two two-week shipments. I was excited to get my food which all looked really good. I started on a Friday, and weighed myself every day, took my measurements like my coach told me.
The food all tasted good enough, but I started to notice very quickly that my stomach was becoming more and more unsettled as I stayed on plan. Lots of gas (my four year old liked to comment on it), and lots of afternoon runs to the office bathroom. I started googling for whether this was a common occurrence and read many reports of "high fiber" and therefore chalked it up to my body adjusting. It got worse and worse each day.
By the time my consultant called the following Friday for my week one check in, I had gained a pound and (how I wish I were joking) almost pooped my pants several times during the week. I explained that all to her and asked if that was normal - which, clearly, it wasn't. She suggested I see a doctor, and suggested I talk with customer service in order to try to get a refund for my second two week order as it was supposed to ship out in a few days.
I spoke with customer service and a manager and was informed that despite having spent over $600 with them for one month's worth of food, and despite the food making me physically sick, there was nothing they could do and that I could not have a refund whatsoever and that they would be shipping my food regardless. RUN, do not walk, AWAY FROM JENNY CRAIG. Terrible customer service, even when their product clearly does not work for you. So much fine print to wade through. They just want to take your money.

I drove by Jenny Craig one time and I thought I’d pop in and talk to their reps. My interaction with them was good. Everybody knows that things like the food costs differently, depending what store you go to. But the store I went to is too far from where I live and work. It’s just what’s available. I've been using Jenny Craig’s weight loss program for 10 months now and so far, I have lost approximately 27 pounds. I’m glad that I’ve lost that, but in my mind, I should have lost more. I made some mistakes and I had a point where my body seemed like it won’t lose any more weight for some reason. I have a busy lifestyle as well, so that contributes to the issues I’ve got. I’m still trying though. I just wish there was less repetition in the meals. For example, for a week’s worth of menus, sometimes they repeat every week or two. The quality is really good though. So far, everything’s going fine. Trying to get my body to cooperate is just the hardest part.

I tried to cancel immediately after realizing what a horrible mistake I had made and they refused to cancel my membership even though the first shipment had not been sent. Would charge an additional $90 to cancel further shipments. Was told a manager was not available. They would have to call back. Meanwhile the first shipment would be processed which I did not want.

Jenny Craig is working out beautifully for me. I couldn't be more happy. Both my wife and I have been booking our meetings on Saturdays and we come in every Saturday morning. Our consultant would ask how our week went. We've had a long conversation discussing if we went out to eat and did things like that and if there were any problems that we were having or any difficulty with the maintenance because we’re on maintenance right now. I said, “No.” I said, “We’re doing wonderful. We’re holding our own.”
And then we’re at a point now where we’re seeing her like every couple of weeks. We’re still ordering food because we’re still using Jenny along with cooking ourselves. We go to the Orange office and everybody there is so wonderful. It’s been a good experience for both my wife and I. We got to our goal in less than seven months, and we’ve been working on it ever since. I lost 65 pounds. My wife lost 30 pounds and it’s been a wonderful transformation.

I worked with Jenny Craig because of the convenience. My first interaction with them was very positive. It was a good deal. My consultant was very good and the week visits helped me a lot. It is encouraging and it helped me get on track. There was somebody to talk to about what was going on and the pros and cons. The menu plan was good for me to be that structured and I really appreciated that. I liked most of the meals I have purchased and there was only one that I did not really care for, the pork carnitas. Also, there was too much sugar and carbs in a lot of the menu items for the morning items or sweets. But, overall, the qualities of the meals were good. I made good progress for a long time, but I chose to stop because of financial reasons. Still, I would recommend them to friends.

My experience with Jenny Craig has been great, so far, and my interactions with their reps have been wonderful. They were amazing and very welcoming. I love them. I've been in their program for a year now and since then, I’ve lost 20 pounds. I love most of their food. Some of it stinks, but most of it is good. In fact, their Chicken Ranch Melt is one of my favorite. However, the cost is a little pricey. So, I’ve taken a little four-week hiatus and then I’ll be back on the bandwagon soon. Nonetheless, I have recommended it.

Jenny Craig has worked, so I know it's reliable. It works for my schedule and the type of work that I do. It’s practical and doable. My consultant has been awesome and very reasonable. Sometimes there are weeks that we were not able to go on and we have some left over, so she always recommend good things. She is very encouraging as well. 100% excellent. I reached one of my goals and then it went up, but I knew it so I'm now starting again. It’s a cycle. The diet is not very difficult. I like the variety of the menu. I like the frozen foods.

Since using Jenny Craig in January, I have reached my goal back in July. I'm doing their maintenance program now where I eat my own food but I go in and check in with them once a month. I haven't gained back a pound since I lose it, so I'm maintaining my goal weight. I liked some of their breakfasts and their dinners --- their chicken and cheesy potatoes. The meals were very good and I didn’t have any problem with strictly eating their food for several months. I've recommended them to several people.

I have seen Jenny Craig advertised for years and people talking that they were on it, so I thought I would do it too. I was hearing bad things about Nutrisystem, but I've always heard good things about Jenny Craig. I've been on the other one years ago, and the thing that put me off Jenny Craig was because it was frozen. It’s a little bit more difficult if it is frozen. But, I finally said, “There’s one right down the street, that’s where I’m going.” The place is plain, but very good. It didn’t matter what it looked like, as long as I could do the task of getting weighed.
Being that I’m older, I didn’t really have much thought that I could get where I’ve got, and so, that was why I was shocked and pleased. The lady that I have is very knowledgeable. she's not some of the younger girls, and she seems to know the ropes and she knows what she is doing. I am very confident with her, and I can share things that are going on. I am kind of pre-diabetic, so I thought that rather than go there, I'd get off my butt and lose some weight. The weekly visits are necessary. It keeps you honest for the most part. I’ve got nine pounds to lose, and I will maintain the food to fill in the gaps because the food is good. The snacks in between and the shake drinks I can, however, substitute.
Also, I like their breakfasts because I don’t have to make a big sit-down breakfasts or do a bowl of cereal every day. And I know I’m getting protein just about every morning. I like the morning treats like those cinnamon rolls and crumb cakes. I am one of those who ate two meals a day, and with eating three meals a day, I thought, “Well, I can’t lose weight on this,” but I can. It is just portion-control and eating the right things. It also helped with the sodium in my diet because there is low sodium and I noticed the difference now if I eat other food. Overall, I love Jenny Craig.

I heard that Jenny Craig's food was more healthy over the other programs so I went with them. My first interaction with them went well and the rep was very nice and helped me a lot. Also, the weekly visits are very nice. The consultant I see now is very good. I get the food that's prepared and know how many calories I'm eating. I really like that. And the meals are all pretty good. I've lost around 18 pounds at first. Unfortunately, I put some back on because I had a lot of business traveling. It’s kinda tough going back in and getting on the program. I have the food but it’s tough to get back on. It's especially tough at night after 7 o’clock. Other than that, everything has been good. It makes life a lot easier.

My mother lost a lot of weight with Jenny Craig, so I started doing it. I've been with them since January and I’ve lost 20 pounds so far. Their reps are nice and my interactions with them have been good. The food is very good and tasty. I like the ravioli, turkey, burritos and mashed potatoes. The cheeseburgers and all the breakfast are pretty good too. Anything with the eggs is good. It just never seems to be enough ‘cause I’m always hungry. The portions should be just a little bigger. Other than that, my experience with Jenny Craig has been going very well.

I Googled a couple of places and saw that there was Jenny Craig near my house, so I chose that one. Their consultants explained the program to me well, told me everything I needed to know, and answered all my questions. They were very informative, and they gave me tips on things that I can do to lose weight. The visits have been as expected, too. When I went in and talked to a consultant, I told her some of the things I struggled with. So, she gave me some ideas on what I can do to combat those. It is just they need to update their food to make it more enjoyable. There are only four or five main courses that taste good since I started the program. The rest is terrible. So, I'm eating the same food for about a year now. Now, instead of eating that, I'm eating something else. The first six months, I lost 44 pounds, but since then I have not lost anything.

Jenny Craig has been pretty awesome. When I was in high school, I lost 35 pounds. And then, I went back about a year ago and I've lost almost 75 to 80 pounds. I like my center. A girlfriend of mine did Jenny Craig a couple years back and she recommended it. The consultant was great. She was super friendly. The only issue I had is the once a week visit is always a pain the the butt when you’re busy. I get the accountability of it, but it’s a lot to try and squeeze into an every week thing. It would be better if it was every two weeks versus every week. The menu plan wasn’t too bad, except I didn’t like a lot of the foods there. I found there is a lot of sodium in them, so I wasn’t a huge fan of it. But the chicken tacos are my favorite. I did the track, but I just found out it’s not attainable to continue on like that. It’s not teaching you a healthy lifestyle. It’s just teaching you to stop and lose the weight. I set out to lose 43 pounds, and I ended up losing somewhere between 47 and 50.

I have been going to Jenny Craig for over a year. My consultant is always nice to me and I thought we got along well. Early in our relationship I requested that she not call me at work to confirm appointments because I couldn’t take calls per my employer. I even wrote a note for my file so anyone I worked with would know. Imagine my surprise when I showed up for my appointment to find a substitute counselor... not a problem at all until I went to check out and saw a note my primary counselor had written... right out in the open for any client to see that outlined all the negatives about me (including that I don’t buy the full plan and I’m grumpy... I guess because I don’t want personal calls at work).
There were notes about other clients too. Many negative. I am horrified to think that I have been working with someone who acted like they cared about me but really didn’t. I feel sorry for anyone who would, like me, believed that Jenny Craig really cared about their clients. One of the benefits of a weight loss program is better self esteem... this place has really shot me down.

I met with Jenny Craig's reps one on one and they described the different programs to me. It was a positive experience. I've been using the program for six months now and I've lost a total of nine pounds. I feel that I've been on it long enough that I'm just trying to make sure I don't gain it back. The menu plan is okay. It's hard to sustain eating frozen food every day, but generally speaking, it's a good and convenient solution. Also, the thickening could be of higher quality in terms of there's a lot of drizzle. But other than that, the meals are good.

I wanted to lose weight and be on a diet program, and I went with Jenny Craig because it was part of Curves. I've been using the program for exactly nine months and my consultant is awesome. They have good advice and tips plus getting weighed in every week. It encourages you to stick with the program. I purchased the plan with the breakfast, lunch and dinner and the essential nutrient bar. The quality of the meals was good, but when I first started, the servings was so small 'cause I was used to eating larger servings and then I got used to it. I was also getting the shake and then after I quit getting the discount when I first started, I felt that it was too expensive to keep going with the shakes. So, I didn't have the shake anymore. I would just drink milk instead.
To follow the plan, I would drink green fruit juice instead of eating the fruit which is not the best thing and then I didn't start the salad with the lunch for a while. I would have beet juice for the vegetable for lunch and dinner instead. I just started adding a salad to the lunch meal two months ago. I feel that Jenny Craig is a little bit too low on the fat. Fat is a little bit better for you. On their breakfast, I noticed that they just use the egg white and then they use gelatin and coloring to make it look like the whole egg. The nutrient of the whole egg is important. So I wish they use the whole egg instead. But I appreciate that everything in the program is very low-sodium.

Going with Jenny Craig was the best decision I ever made. Last December I decided to try it out and see how it goes because I hate to cook. I've been using Jenny Craig since mid-October and I'm down about 54, so it’s working. It's all planned out and the food is already prepared. The quality of their meals is good. I like the pizzas and they are doing away with those. My consultant is great and I adore her. During the weekly visits, we go over the past week, do a weight-in, go over the menu, the menu that I like, don’t like, if I wanna substitute, and then talk about if there’s gonna be any obstacles for the week and how to overcome them.

I knew that Jenny Craig counted calories, and that was what I needed to do. I set up an appointment and met with the gal that signed me up. The interaction I had with their consultant was great and the menu plans worked well. I was on the quick start and some of the philosophies that they use were that great. So I continue to use them, like the 2 hours intermittent fasting which I think is doable. And they have you weigh everyday in the morning.
The meals are really good. The frozen meals are better than the ones that are not frozen. They aren't quite as good tasting as the frozen ones. I've been at my goal weight since four months now, but I'm still buying them. Also the snacks are really good and it's good portion control. I've been using the Jenny Craig program for nine months. And I lost about 30 pounds. I recommend them all the time.

Medically, I have a lot of things that was wrong, but I managed to lose 60 pounds with Jenny Craig. My experience with them has been amazing. I got Parkinson's and it was a battle, but their program really worked. They got the weight off me and I'm back to my normal size. The program helps me now to exercise and I'm doing really well that way. My personal consultant is Bernadette and she's there at any time you call her. I also like all the meals. My husband helps me out with the program and it's been nice. My husband thinks that Jenny Craig is fantastic, too, and he's glad we went through their program. And the system really works. That's all we needed and we're very happy with everything. They cost a lot of money for the food over that period of time, but it was worth it.

I've been using Jenny Craig since January until now. They have very good personal consultants. Their meals taste good too but they are just really small. Other than that, I hit my goal a long time ago. I lost 45 pounds between January and May with their program. But I had a herniated disk in my back so I'm on hold right now. But since we get that taken care of, I'm gonna lose another 10 pounds.

I started with Jenny Craig seven years ago and so far, the experience has been really good. It’s a great program and I’ve recommended them to everybody who knows me. Their consultants are absolutely awesome. The progress and results have been very good. The meals are good too but I’m not a vegetable person and a lot of them are chock-full of vegetables so it’s a little harder for me. But most people are probably fine with it.

I liked the easiness of Jenny Craig and I would recommend it. My personal consultant was really nice and supportive. I would go in once a week and I would weigh. Then I would talk about my week and how it went, and we would make goals for the next week. My experience using the menu plan was very easy and upfront. I have no complaints. I used it for probably three months and I lost 20 pounds. I went off it and I probably gained back 6 pounds.

Our neighbor and his wife went on Jenny Craig and they had good results. They met their goals and were maintaining it, and that made me wanna try Jenny Craig as well. Also, at the time, I needed a jump start, so I thought I gotta do something. I’ve been with Jenny Craig since January and I’m very happy with them. I love our personal consultant, too. She’s a sweetheart and she’s good. But I don’t abide by the rules 100%. I try my hardest though and I tell her that I keep on dithering and that I'm sabotaging myself from meeting my goal. I'm 3 pounds away from it but I gain one then I lost two. I lost one again, then I gained one and a half. Other than that, I’m happy with the location where Jenny Craig's at. We go there every Tuesday and meet with our consultant. My husband also met his goal and I’m gonna beat him.
At this point, I’m over the food because I’ve been on Jenny Craig for a while. And it’s hard for me because I travel and when I'm traveling I’ll get the dry food. I like their pizzas though as well as their Margarita chicken. Their burgers and chicken sandwiches are delicious, too. On a whole, the food isn’t bad. It’s just that I’m sick of eating some of it because every time you have to go to a new menu, you gotta go back and re-circle. Also, I wish that I could stop and get to my goal. But I’m happy with the results. I didn’t wanna lose weight fast anyway because I know I’d gain it right back. And I work out, so I’m doing the whole gamut. I train, I do cardio, and I’m doing something every day. Plus, I'm 63 so it's not like when I was a kid. If this was 10 years ago, I would’ve dropped that weight and then some in a month.
All in all, I would recommend Jenny Craig because it’s a great way to get you started and motivated. I will also tell somebody that if they need to be disciplined, Jenny Craig is great for that. For me, I needed that regimen and I needed to know that the food was there for me because I know that I wouldn't sidetrack. If I stuck to it better, I would have met my goal months ago. But I go out to dinner and I like to drink my wine.

I wanted to lose a little bit of weight and to feel better. As we were driving by, I saw the Jenny Craig location. Then I went online, read about them, and I decided I'd try their program for a few months and see if it would benefit me. They were really understanding and helpful. They had time to sit down and listened to why I wanted to do this. They also gave me recommendations and helped me with time management and eating discipline. I had good interactions with my personal consultants, too. Sometimes, every time I would go, I would have a different consultant, but they were all nice, would give good feedback, and tell me how to stick to the menu. One time, my lunch was a little late or I ate early, and they they gave me advice on how to preplan the menu according to my schedule.
I've been on their program for nine months now and since I started, I have lost a coupe of pounds and I have noticed a difference on how much I lost. All in all, Jenny Craig helped me adjust my eating habits, lose weight, and feel better. Before I didn't have good eating habits, but now I stick to the menu, I know what to eat, and what not to eat. From their menu, there are some dessert items that I really like. Out of the dinner and lunch menus, there are one or two that I didn't like at first, but now, I like them as much as those I did before. All the other menu items are really good and I really don't have any problems with them.

I saw Jenny Craig as I was driving by the facilities and since I’ve tried everything else, I thought to give it a try. So far, I loved my experience with them. It was great going in every week and I really liked Desiree, the girl that worked with me. She explained everything well. Since then, I lost 31 pounds so I was really pleased with that. I was getting close to meeting my goal. It’s just a little costly but the food was delicious. But I recently moved out of state and Jenny Craig doesn't have any facilities close enough to where I could go to weigh in every week. I thought about the online feature, but from what I’m hearing, you have to buy a month’s worth. Nevertheless, Jenny Craig is a plan that really works. It’s easy and anybody can do it. It’s planned out there and everything is ready for you.

We're very enthusiastic about Jenny Craig. A friend of mine had done it and she had lost weight. I asked her how she did it, and when she said Jenny Craig, we decided to give it a try. And now, it has been over a year since I got into the program. Both my husband and I had done it, and of all the diets we've ever tried, this is the best one. It's very nutritionally balanced and it's educational. It helps you learn what portions are appropriate, and we both had a lot of success with it. I wanted food that was already prepared so I got Jenny Craig. There was another program I considered, but I don’t think they had a center. I wanted a place that I would go and get the food as opposed to have it delivered because I live in Vegas and it’s so hot here, that to have food and sit outside, like even in a cooler would never work.
My personal consultant was fantastic. They’ve all been really professional, fun, with great sense of humor, and just really knowledgeable about the products and the company. I started in August of 2017, so I've been with them for two years. My husband and I both joined together. I lost 52 pounds and my husband lost 35. He’s up a little right now, but he’s kept almost all of it off. It might have been like 10 months that the weight all came off shockingly. I had no idea I was gonna lose that much weight. That wasn’t even close to what I wanted to do. I just thought I’d get back to my wedding weight. And I was like, “Jesus, it’s working. I’m just gonna keep going.”
It was really helpful especially in the beginning to have a specified menu. It was already balanced per calories and I had never counted calories before. I tried every possible diet, but it was always like, “Oh, eat these foods and you’ll be thinner.” I don’t know how it’s possible I got that old without really understanding calories. Adding up 1,200 calories a day was not something I was gonna be able to do initially on my own.

My wife's co-worker had suggested Jenny Craig, so I thought I'd try it. Years ago, my sister was involved with it and she had good things to say about it, too. The consultant weighs you and talks to you -- you get the feeling that they're there just to sell you the food. But, after a while, you start to get into a personal relationship with the consultant, which is the same consultant every week. They check with you, give the menu and sell you the food.
I follow Jenny Craig to the T and in four and a half months I lost 60 pounds. There's not much of it, but it tastes good. There are four menus that cycles. In the fifth week you go back to menu one. One time in the five months that I was on it they slightly changed the menu, so there was enough variety, and not to make you go, "I'll eat this again." You met on a certain time, you made an appointment, and they would call you the night before to make sure you were coming in. I respect that they need to know if you are coming. When I did need to change it and they needed to adjust they were very flexible. The availability of the counselors was top rate. They were always available.

I am pleased to say that I have lost 43 lbs. so far. I was very disappointed this week to hear that 2 of my favourite meals have been eliminated from the program and that one has been changed. The Grilled Chicken Teriyaki and Asian style beef and veg. are gone and the Meatloaf dish has changed the good BBQ type sauce to gravy. Another item on my menu was not available this time due to shortages. Why is this happening? If you want to wean me off Jenny Craig and get me back on reg. food.....this is the way to do it. I am on the diabetic diet, so that restricts my choices already, taking things away that I like, just makes it worse.

Jenny Craig is a household name. When I heard about Weight Watchers, I heard that you have to get your own food and all that stuff in. And I also knew people that were on Jenny Craig. They didn't do well at the program, but they told me what it was about, like the fact that they plan your whole meals and you purchase the food. That's what I really liked because I don't like cooking. I also like the fact that everything was lined up for me for the whole week -- just the convenience of it. So, that was what gravitated me towards Jenny Craig.
In terms of the first meeting it was really good. They asked me what my goal was and we sat and talked about how to get there. They were really good in setting up expectations for me, and generally saying "If you stick to this plan and guidelines, it's gonna take you probably this long. And if you deviate from it, well, of course, it's not gonna be successful." My personal consultant is so good. I started back in October. I hit my goal in June. I ended up getting extended membership with the same mentor for another year and a half to basically help me with the maintenance program.
There's a lot of variety in their meals and to have to be on that four-week cycle is really good. I never really got sick of anything. There might be a couple of choice items that maybe I didn't like a certain thing, and that's just personal preference. But generally all meals are really good. They taste good especially for low calorie foods. My biggest crutch with any diet, or the problem I have is portion control. And I felt that it's tough at the start, but the overall food plan of how much is given and what is given, makes it a lot easier. The Jenny's food is even better than Nutri-Lean and Lean Cuisine.

I tried Jenny Craig before --as well as others-- but I had to quit due to money issues. I was happiest with Jenny Craig, so I came back to them. The two consultants I dealt with were great. I had one where I was living previously, and then I have another in my new location. I would go in and get weighed, and then we'd talk about any changes that need to happen, or anything ahead of time that I would need to change in menu for. Then we’d move on to the menu, any changes that I needed to make, because I had food allergies, and then it would be wrapped up from there. I moved on the menus quite a bit, so each of them were perfectly formatted for the calories that I was gonna be set on.
I've been using it for over a year and a half, and I've had great results -- I've lost about 160 pounds. I'm currently on a break from Jenny Craig due to more money issues, and I've tried more frozen meals just to try and not screw myself up too bad. However, they've been so much lower quality. Overall, using the menu plan from Jenny Craig was great.

I've been on the Jenny Craig program for eight months now and the experience has been good. They were really informative and the interaction as well as my weekly visits have been good. I was on Rapid Results, so I couldn't switch out anything on the menu, but I really enjoyed any of the burritos. I call them my fuel bread, the breakfast and the lunch burrito, chicken burrito. Jenny Craig has been around for years. With their program, I like just having the food there where you eat this food at this point and you really don't think about it. The taste and quality of the food are good. I'm impressed. I only found a few items that I would substitute or not eat on a particular day. Otherwise, there are several foods that I like. The mac and cheese is really good just because it's mac and cheese. There is also a new beef dish.
I am usually on the express train and I'm pretty self-maintaining. I zip in, get my food, and get out. I don't really look for a lot of coaching. I've been doing the Rapid Results since last August and it has worked really well for me. My weight is definitely down. But I hit one of those points where I kinda eat back up a little bit so I now have to eat back down but still maintain the huge bulk of that front-end weight loss which was my goal.

My husband and I are both Ford Motor Company employees and the company had a benefit offering which we took advantage of. We did our separate individual Ford Motor Company plan and at first, we did Jenny Craig online. We had an online consultant and the food was supposed to be mailed to us. We’re in Florida and there was a big snowstorm wherever the food was coming from. We didn’t get our food in time. We didn’t particularly like the consultant either. I was having a hard time even kind of dealing with reality and they don’t know you. They can’t see you. I really didn’t like the online experience. It just didn’t click. So we were gonna drop it immediately. But one of us thought to look and see if there’s a store here. It was mainly because we wanted to get our food.
There was one in Ocala, which is a half an hour drive. We went there and met the consultant, and Cheryl is phenomenal. She’s been working with us ever since. We dropped the online thing and transferred to a local store. But every time we go there, everyone who's there is from The Villages, which is where we live. Cheryl even said she would love to open a store in The Villages and that she has asked Jenny Craig many times. She said that she would go, if they open another one or move this one here, because most of her clients are from here. But every time I recommend it or speak to someone, they say it's too far. Still, we’re older people and we gotta go down the expressway to get there. It would just be so much more convenient if Jenny Craig could open one in or near The Villages. We think it would increase their customer base tremendously.
But we’ve been doing Jenny Craig for about a year and we both have fabulous results. Martin has reached his goal. He went from 225 to 185 so he has lost about 40 pounds. I never really set a goal but that’s what I love about Cheryl. If she had made me do things, I probably would have dropped out immediately. But Cheryl would consider what I would tolerate. I am probably close to 100 pounds but we’ve probably gained about 25 pounds back. So we’re still working on it.

I was overweight, so my anxiety counselor recommended Jenny Craig, and I had good results. The consultants were professional, and dealing with them during my weekly visits was great. They kept me on point. They gave me guidance and helped me lose weight. They gave me a list, a regimen, and my progress has been really good. Everything was going well. However, after about five years, I stopped going there. The consultants, especially at the Glendale office, are unprofessional. They're unhygienic. They lick their finger when they touch things, and they have tattoos on their bodies. They come to work as if they're going to a club. Also, some of their food were good but some were not. Nutrisystem has better meals.

I had tried Nutrisystem and the food was nasty. At that time, my mom was alive and her life's wish was for me to get thin. One time, I was watching a commercial with her and I said I would try Jenny Craig. And it was heaven-sent. The food is delicious and it works. I used to be size 58 and now being size 32, it's just like night and day. One of the girls I was seeing when I started said she couldn't believe I was the same Isaac. And I am still losing weight because I want to lose a couple more pounds. At weekly consultant meetings, Harry is always very encouraging. But whoever gets me is impressed at how much weight I've lost.
With this diet, you can do it because the food is delicious. I don't feel like I'm starving. When I did Nutrisystem, some of the food were gross and after I ate their food, I was still feeling hungry. I love sweets too, and Jenny Craig's deserts really are great. I also like their turkey burger. I put mustard and onions, and it's great. Jenny Craig has changed my whole habit. What I like about it is that you eat six times a day and there is such variety.
One thing they need on the market and that they're not really going after is the men. People think Jenny Craig is for ladies. I see all those commercials for Jenny Craig and it's always a female. They need commercials where I, for example, would talk about the gentlemen who come into Jenny Craig. If people would see how much I and other people have lost, that market would explode. There's a lot of men who are fat and are maybe embarrassed but if they saw other men who have gone through the program, they would come in. I'll be Jenny Craig's spokesperson.
In fact, I've recommended so many people. I have brought in a bunch of people because I see a lot of men and most of us have gone through Nutrisystem first. They would say that it was awful and that they don't wanna go through this again. But I tell them to trust me on Jenny Craig and that the food is delicious. One day, I invited a couple of friends to my house and I made them what I was gonna eat because I always have extra. They were going, "Whoa. Is this Jenny Craig?" "This is delicious." Then when I gave them the desert and they saw the cheesecake and the chocolate cake, they said, "Now, you're cheating." But I told them I wasn't. I told them to look and that it was on the menu. I told them they would get to eat this on Jenny Craig and that it works. I showed them an old picture of me, and they go, "Whoa, is that you?"
This is so funny. When I eat, people would say my food looks good and ask if they can taste it. I would tell me no and to go to Jenny Craig and buy their own. Others would go, "You're not on a diet. You're not supposed to eat that." Then I would get the box and say it's Jenny Craig. One lady told me that she thought Jenny Craig's food was yuck and that Nutrisystem's was a lot better. But I told her I had tried Nutrisystem and that Jenny Craig was better. I let her taste it and she agreed that Jenny Craig's food was better. It tastes good. It's fulfilling and it works.

Jenny Craig is a rip off. Be careful and read the small print. I wanted to go back on it with my own menu and they will only allow you to go on their plan. I do not like the food they choose. They also say you can have 20 free meals but you have to stay on the plan for 4 months to get it. I do not want to be on the Jenny Craig diet for that long. I only have 10 lbs to lose. It is false advertising.

I did Jenny Craig back in the ‘90s and it worked pretty well for me. I know this one physician who was doing it and I thought I could do the same thing. But of course, you gain the weight back after you go out of the program. Then this last year, I had to go to a beach vacation so I wanted to get in shape. I knew Jenny Craig worked well for me back in the day and that’s why I started up again. At this point, I’ve done over 60 pounds in lost weight and I look very different. But you have some points when you don’t do so well even though you stay in the diet and then in some weeks, you can see you’re doing amazingly well and you don’t understand what's happened. I also like the fact that with Jenny Craig, you’re not hungry and you don’t have to take products. You don’t have to restrict yourself. Most of their meals are pretty good too. I don’t enjoy the mashed potatoes because they're not real potatoes. They're instant stuff. I figured if I'm eating potatoes, they should at least be real. But I like the turkey and wild rice. Also, Jenny Craig would give you a variety and that’s the part I like about it. You actually take carbohydrates, fats and protein every day and you’re not restricting yourself in any one field. The people who would do the Keto diets don’t take any carbohydrates and they don’t do well when they come off. They fast a lot and become hungry too. They would hardly eat for the next 12 hours. That can’t be healthy. The only thing is that Jenny Craig is a little pricey but it's a good program.

During my weekly visit, I get weighed in, which helps me see how my weight went and if I stuck to the program or not. I also get my menu for the week. Plus they ask how my week was. I've been with them since February and I've lost weight.

I had done Weight Watchers for a while but it stopped working for me. I then thought about the way Jenny Craig does their program and that it might be a better fit for me. And now, about seven months into their program, I’ve lost about 20 pounds. With my weekly visits, they keep me accountable. The consultants are very friendly and helpful trying to give tips where they can. They give suggestions and tweaks that I can make to set myself up for success. The quality of the food is great, too. The way that it’s paired up with fresh vegetables makes it feel not so packaged. I’m happy with it. There are lots of good food there that I like. The breakfast stuff is really good. I like the burritos and the frittata, which is my favorite Jenny Craig item. I also like the Beef Merlot. I would recommend Jenny Craig to friends.

My first interactions with Jenny Craig were excellent. The person whom I dealt with was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. For the weekly visits, I go in at an appointed time. I get weighed, sit down, have a discussion with them, and then I get your menu for the following week. If there are any issues, I talk about it with them then I get the food and you go. Each appointment for the next visit is made when I'm there in person. I purchased all the meals on the plan. There are four weeks and there is a set meal for each day. I have 28 different things for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack. The meals have been of excellent quality. Jenny Craig is outstanding. I have reached my goal and I’m on maintenance.

I've seen Jenny Craig for the last few years on TV. Having tried different kinds of stuff, I tried Jenny Craig too. I've been using their program since January. Bernadette is my personal consultant and she's very good. I purchased about everything in their meal options. Every week, it's whatever is on the menu. The quality of the food is very good. I like most of the meals but there are some that I don't like because I'm not a vegetable lover nor am I an egg lover. But Bernadette has a list of food that you can swap with when there is something you wanna change. That's been working out well.
I switched out the egg frittata as I wasn't crazy about that. I found it very dry. I don't like broccoli so I switched out the broccoli stuffed potato for the regular one. I liked that one. Also, I'm a sweets lover so I like their French toast. Jenny Craig is a really good program and my experience with them has been great. I'm now down about 23 pounds and there were a few weeks where I cheated.

I was taking Jenny Craig in 1989 and I lost a lot of weight. It got down to 147 and then they said I couldn't stay on the food for the last part. They said I would have to go off Jenny Craig and go on regular food. But I had been very successful. This time, I was really hoping to make it all the way down. But I ended up having an emergency exploratory surgery and I have to be really careful of not getting constipated now. I was constipated the whole time I was on Jenny Craig. I would go only once a day at the most and that was only a tiny bit of hard poo. I also always felt gassy. But I found out it wasn't just gas. I ended up with an air cyst in my fallopian tube. It was as big as a grapefruit. They said I should have been dead.
Jenny Craig really needs to get the crappy stuff out of the food. When I read the ingredients, there were a lot of things I couldn't pronounce and I have a feeling that was what was stopping me up. There were all the additives, artificial this and that, corn syrup and the things that you don't need to put in food that's frozen. Frozen food will stay preserved. You're gonna eat it up within a week. It's gonna be fine. Also, if they use cornstarch to thicken sauces, which were delicious by the way, I would definitely use organic corn because there's so much stuff in the way they process and grown corn nowadays.
They should take out all this garbage and we would get nice, whole foods and nutritional kind of thing. Then, I could have stayed on until the end and I would have been very happy. In fact, I already paid for another year after this. I was really looking forward to having another year of eating Jenny Craig food and getting used to my new way of life. It's very easy to go on Jenny Craig and there's great variety in the food so you never get bored. It's well-balanced and in terms of the flavors, the food itself is really good. I like all of the food. I have lost about 80 pounds but I had 23 left to go. I didn't reach my goal and that's what bothers me because my whole life, I would get close but not close enough. I'm now retired and I'm really trying to focus on reaching my goal and I'm tempted to go back on Jenny Craig. I know that it works.
My personal consultant was the best. I loved her. I recommended her to many people. In fact, the girl who inspired me was a teacher who lost 80 pounds with Dana, my consultant, and I wanted to go to Dana because I saw what the other girl had gone through and how successful she was while she was still teaching, not after retirement. She was only 5'2" and she lost 80 pounds. That was incredible to me.

However, I might be a couple of pounds heavier than I was as I haven't been there for about a month now. Still, I’m definitely still within what I wanted to be within. I've seen Jenny Craig on TV quite a bit. I've seen some of it in magazines as well. I tried losing weight on my own. And I lost my husband just four years ago, and then my son moved out last year. So, I was at a crossroads. I've tried it on my own. I was at the Wharton Clinics with a doctor. I had various things, but it's just not enough discipline for me. So, it was like I needed to make a change. Last year when I knew my son was moving on out, I thought, now is a good time.
I kinda hit a wall where they do they say that with grief, that can happen. So, I thought to myself, this way, if I have a list of what I need to eat, I don't need to figure out anything as far calories and carbohydrates. Eat this on this day, in this order, and I'd be good. I went online, looked up a bunch of information and read some of the people that have been successful at Jenny Craig. And then, I went over for a consultation, and then I decided to join for the two-year, and that was on October. So, I lost 20 pounds. I have put a couple of pounds back on the last time.
I'm an office administrator at a school, so I'm off for the summer. So, I'm not as disciplined as I'd like to be in the summer. I've been out, and not so much of the exercise components enough, but I needed to get into that too. But it doesn't matter how much exercise if I'm not eating right. And my dog's older so it doesn't walk as much either. So, down the road, as horrible as it sounds, I was talking just last week to one of the girls over there and was saying, "I'm planning on getting, once he passes." And every time I think I'm getting ready for it, 'cause he has thyroid issues, he surprises me and he's still kicking, and he makes it forever. I can't wait, but at the same time, I'm hoping to get a couple of dogs who will also put me back into that huff mode that I've been in before, where I used to walk quite a bit. And that's a good way to keep your weight off as well.
So, I have found the last couple of years, just the combination after my husband passing, and then me working, and then some of it was grief, but then the other part of it is just being lazy or the dog's not going outside, I'm not going out. And then, I'm okay during the day, especially at school. But once I get into the night time and I'm sitting in front of the TV, I'm not hungry, but I'm eating.
From the very beginning, I started snacking, but I'm getting stuff. So, it's not in the house, and I don't have teeth. So, I'm getting the sugar-free Jellos, I'm having little tomatoes and the dill pickle cucumbers that are out now, and those types of things that if I do have the munchies after my last snack, say 9 o'clock, then I can sit and have something that even if I'm eating it, it's like 25 calories. It's better than a box of crackers or a bag of chips. I'm also babysitting two days in the summer. So, a couple of times, I've been to the Dairy Queen with them and having ice cream. So, I have to watch that, and I realized it, but it's nice to know, weighing yourself all the time, why that's happening.
I had even mentioned to one of the girls the coffee part. I love coffee and I like the flavored coffee. I used to take it black, but she had also said to me, "For every coffee you drink, you almost need an extra water." So, that was an interesting part. And then, I tried to have that earlier if I'm doing that same as to my Advil that I was taking a few times. I have allergies in the summer. And the reactant doesn't bother me as much, but if I take an Advil, it's because of inflammation, that can also bother me and retain the weight. And it's been interesting watching that as I'm keeping track of that on the sheet all the time when that happens. And so, some of that is just me getting to know my body. And it's interesting to know when I've gone up, I'm thinking, "I ate everything I'm supposed to eat, why am I still up a pound or half a pound from last weekend and I haven't lost anything? Oh, I've had three Advils this week." So, that's been a huge learning curve for me.
So, it's good now. I'm getting better. I was in a bit of a low. I'm hoping to jumpstart again. I was getting better the last week. I also had a colonoscopy book and I had a dental service. So, when I'm off work, I get a lot of stuff done, so I don't take time off during the year. It settles through me too. The colonoscopy was great. I lost five pounds overnight with all the cleanout which was wonderful, not the way I'd wanna do it. But then the next few days, as far as weighing up, even though I followed the program, I put it back on. I was surprised at that, and they said, "That could just be the water weight. It could be just your body getting back into it. It could be a variety of reasons."
The meals are very good. I know that some of them like a lot of the Mexican stuff. I have foods that I didn't realize I could switch them out. We were talking about that about a couple of months ago. And they said, "Up to maybe two substitutions, not many more 'cause then you're fussing with the program," which I understand. But I'm not like an enchilada person and the spicier meals.
The other ones, I really enjoy. And for work, it's great because the principal normally releases me for half an hour. I've been into the coleslaw lately that I really like, and I'm finding it very filling. And it doesn't get as soggy as salad. So, I've been eating it with either balsamic or I've even gone with just oil and vinegar. I love the other salads as well, but for work, I find the coleslaw travels better and it stays fresh. I've enjoyed it. The desserts are excellent too. I said to the girl when I was first losing my weight that I'm so gung ho at the very beginning. And into after Christmas eve and into March, I did say to her, one of the reasons they are so successful is because they cover the salt and the sweet part of you, as far as their snacks go. Last time, I'm eating a cupcake. I can either get the tortilla chip. And I'm the person that I do like the sweet, but I also crave the salt. So, it's nice.
I've had bad days for some reason, something's got to me and I've been stress eating and I know I'm doing it, but I can't stop. I'm just like, "Okay, it's one day, it's done. Tomorrow, here's our day and just start with the menu." And I know that I can bring myself back which in the past, you might go two or three days before you really start eating healthy again 'cause it feels this is on you to do it.
I find the meals great even in the morning. Like I take the dog out in the morning. A lot of times I'll get up, and I will eat my entree while I'm in the front of the dog doing his business. And then, I will take myself a yogurt and or a banana to work, to have, when I get to work, some fruit or some cherries. And I'll have that with my morning coffee before I have my barm in the morning. So, I space it out, so that I don't feel like I've eaten a whole bunch when I've gotten to work at 9:00 and I'm starving. And then, the school I'm at does not have a cafeteria. There's nothing really close by within walking distance. So, what I bring is all I have, which is great 'cause I'm very disciplined with that.
And then I've learned the tricks of the trade through the day of what I can and can't have and what I like better. Like in the afternoon, I love the dark sweet pitted cherries that you buy frozen. They're so good. And they're 90 calories with 3 grams of fiber. And she said like it's 12 that's on the sheet to have. I like them because they give me the sweetness, and sometimes, I'll eat them even semi-frozen, so I slow down a little bit especially in the summer, but it's just enough for me for sweetness in the afternoon.
For me, Jenny Craig was just at the right time. It was a choice I made for me. It was an adjustment at first. When my husband was alive, I was the one who did all the shopping, I did all the cooking. So, that took, number one, a huge amount of my time which I never realized 'till I started Jenny Craig. And even the grocery shopping now. I don't spend hours in the grocery store buying stuff I don't need. I have a list. I buy my skimmed milk that I want. I would buy my vegetables. I buy rye bread once in a while. But other than that, that's all I buy. And my frozen fruit. And that part of it is great instead of up and down the aisles and buying whatever is on sale even though I don't need it, and then you have it there to eat. So, for that part, it's been great.
I'm quite satisfied with Jenny Craig, and part of the reason I regressed the last of the while is, I know, partly me. So, I know I'm doing it. I'm more weary of it the last few days, and we've been talking about if from my visits because I was up half a pound, and I lost a couple of pounds and I'm a pound, and I've lost a pound, but I like to continue back on just losing. So, I know that's coming. I just have to adhere to the plan and then, I might exercise once I get there.

I had tried some of the other weight loss programs, and I was not successful. My friend was successful with Jenny Craig, so I tried it too. Jenny Craig completely explained the program to me, told me what my cost would be, and what the food was. I enrolled with them and I have a really good personal consultant. She really keeps me on point and she schedules the appointments. We're sticking to a menu, so she makes sure that she orders the food. She also asks me some question, like how my week went and what's my plan for next week. If I have anything coming up, she helps me with making good choices.
I've been doing the program for about six months and lost about 26 pounds right now. It would be better if I was a little more committed, but some days I'm committed, and some days, I'm not. Jenny Craig's menus are really good and they change it up. Every couple of months, they add an item or two. So, that's good. Every week, there can be up to three things that I don't care for. Personally, I like squash, and there's a squash ravioli on one of the menus, and I can always change that out for something else and stay on plan. There's another equivalent Jenny Craig meal that I can get instead of that and trade it out.

I like the real food from Jenny Craig. I also like the weekly accountability in helping me manage my eating habits. My first interaction with Jenny Craig was about getting to know me, my routines, and my eating routines. It also included setting the goals I had for myself and for my health. They were pretty thorough in asking questions on how I manage my food. The description of the program led me to move further along with Jenny Craig if I chose to do so. It was fairly low pressure, and it was really about relationship building.
I have weekly meetings with my consultant. She asks me how my week went, where my habits are not unhealthy with regards to my eating, and where my habits are healthy. Jenny Craig reminds me of my goals. I really got to know them, and over time, they’ve gotten to know me as well. One of the questions I love that they ask me is “Why are you doing this, John?” They always ask me this. And every once in a while, asking that question really helps because it reminds myself why I’m doing this. Jenny Craig's menu plan really helps me plan when I eat since I’m not an eater. And the food is fantastic. I look forward to every meal. My favorite one is the turkey burger. I've had a personable, supportive, and healthy experience with Jenny Craig.

The consultant that I dealt with was an excellent representative for Jenny Craig. She was supportive and thorough. She didn't mess up our orders. I've been on their program for about nine months now. My husband and I lost 35 pounds each. I mainly got the Southern dishes, turkey, chicken, steak, their turkey sandwiches, and their cheeseburgers. They have lemon bars, chocolate bars and peanut butter bars. For dessert, we get their bars and use them with a cup of hot tea. But their food could have more Southern, less Mexican food.

I started on Jenny Craig on January 14th and I've lost 33 pounds. It’s working out very well. I had tried Nutrisystem for a month a few years ago and I liked the idea of it but I didn’t really care for the food at all. Still, I wanted to try a program and I knew there had been commercials of different ones. I looked online at a couple different things to see what I thought of them and decided to try Jenny Craig.
I gave them a call and the person was really helpful and honest. One of the problems was that I’m very fussy. I know a lot of overweight people believe anything but I don’t. I’m kind of limited to the kinds of food I like. I really hate peppers and there are peppers on diet food like crazy. So a big concern I had was that if most of the meals had peppers, I didn’t want it. The rep said that some meals do have peppers but most of the meals didn’t. Jenny Craig sounded good so I wanted to try it. The rep gave me some information about the programs and what the best one might be. I signed up for something and we also talked about being able to change it later on if I wanted to.

Initially, I heard that the food in Jenny Craig was good and that it was a top-rated program. That was why I chose them. And my first interaction with them was great. The person that I spoke with, my councilor, was good. They were encouraging and they would help you plan for anything that's coming up that week that might get you off the track. I love the food too. You get plenty to eat and you feel very good. It’s a great program. I lost a lot of weight. It’s been about two years since I started and I still use Jenny Craig’s food quite a bit because I kinda maintain.

I've been with Jenny Craig since August of ’18 and I've lost 60 pounds so far. I'm going down 275 so I’m on my way. I dropped from 2X to 1X to extra large and now, I’m between a large and a medium. So it’s perfect. I feel wonderful. To everyone who's asked how I do it, I've said there's no secret. It's Jenny Craig and exercise. Jenny Craig was close to where I live and on my first interaction with them, they got me going right away. They were very helpful and encouraging. My personal consultant was interested in my progress and encouraged me. I make the same appointment every week, come in, get the food and check weight. Every four weeks, I get measured and we continue on. The food is great. My favorite is the loaded baked potato. I can eat almost everything but there are some medical restrictions, like I can’t eat popcorns, and I have to do switches. But it’s nice that Jenny Craig has the alternate fix that you can substitute.

I’ve always been a Jenny Craig client for a long time since the 90s and this is my third time back. They were having a special like you could come back for free if you’ve been a member before so I thought I’d give it a try. My consultant was a very nice person and she understood that I knew a lot about it already. But she filled me in on all the new things. The weekly visits helped me feel good about my progress and to feel confident for the week coming up. So far, I’ve lost almost 60 pounds and I’m really pleased with that.
The Jenny Craig menu plan, for the most part, has been great. There’s about 30% of them I don’t like which are the shelf-stable items where they're dry-packaged and I could do a salad with that. The food is very tasty. It doesn’t taste diet. The portions are small although I understand this because it's for dieting. The flavor is very good on most of the products that I enjoy. I really like the breakfasts a lot especially the pancakes and the French toast. For the dinners, I like the chicken sandwich, hamburger, ham, and the bagel. I also like fish and chips and pizza.

My experience with Jenny Craig has been great from the get-go. Before I decided to go with them, I had done a lot of research on the cost and what the food was like, and Jenny Craig ended up being more appealing to me. I've been using the program since October 14th of 2018 and I've lost over 100 pounds. They've been super supportive and encouraging the whole time. My weekly visits have been very good and positive.
The great thing about it too is the menu. I've always struggled with weight loss but with Jenny Craig, I have something that says what you eat for the day. It's simple and pretty straightforward with things. It's been great and super helpful for me because I don't have to think about it. And the meals are good. I'm a big pizza person, even before, so I was so happy that there was a pizza option. There have also been a few things, like the lemon cookies and the ranch snaps, that I don't like but I think both have gone away recently. That aside, they've been great about saying there are some other options for me.

I’m on my third time that I ordered from Jenny Craig. The only problem is as soon as I stop, I gain it all back. It is very expensive too. And the last time that I was there, when I bought it before I stopped, I spent a lot of money, like $2,000. But everybody’s been pretty nice. I was a little disappointed the last time because my regular girl that I had for a consultant was really nice, and then all of a sudden, someone else starts calling. I said, “Whatever happened to my original girl, Crystal?” And she said, “You’re not gonna have her anymore.” And then whenever this new girl sent me my food, she sent the wrong schedule. She was supposed to do week one and three, but she sent me the schedule for week one and two.
I have a lot of problem with indigestion. So, a lot of the items on the menu, I can’t eat. I just would get really sick with them. Anything that has like a sulfur mix, it gives me really bad heartburn. So, they allowed me to replace six items on their menu. But I’d have a lot of wasted food. But I like their chicken sandwiches and their hamburgers. The cheesecake and the lava cake were good as well.
I lost 15 pounds this time. But that was a long time. I can’t exercise a lot ‘cause I have a really bad back. And I know I would probably lose a lot more if I could move around more. But I can only do so much and then I have to lay down during the day. When I talked to Crystal, I had told her that what I would like to do, if I could get on some maintenance program so that I wouldn’t have to order all the food. I could just pick out like one and three that I wanted, and not get the breakfasts. I’m not a big egg eater. I don’t eat too many eggs. But, some of it was okay. But maybe it was just that I’d done it for so long. It was like four months it took me to lose that 15 pounds.
I would always recommend it to other people. I have a lot of people ask me did I go on a diet or how did I lose my weight? But I’ve gained everything back that I lost. I’m almost back to 160 again. So, it’s just too heavy for me. When I was working, I was really thin. I wouldn’t have weighed like 105. So, for me to get this heavy, I do get a lot of steroid shots though too. And I’m hungry constantly. But then, if I had my meals planned through Jenny Craig then I did really good. I didn’t have a problem staying with the program at all. I didn’t have that problem because I always cut up my fruits and the vegetables that I had.

Jenny Craig was very highly rated. I called up a regular phone number to make an appointment at a local office and they made one for later that day. When I walked in and told them, they said that they had nothing to do with the phone number so then I was able to reschedule an appointment and it was no big deal. When I first went on the program, my goal was to lose 40 pounds and I was very successful that I lost consistently and achieved that in seven months. Then over the next year or two, I gradually gained it back so now, I’m working again and I’ve been finding it harder this time but I’m making some progress. I see my personal consultant once a week to make sure I stay on track and discuss things. I weigh in and we discuss the last week and then set up the menu for the following week.
The meal plan has helped me ‘cause I don’t have to make a decision that might not be the best choice for me. I have it already laid out and I don’t have to try to figure out on my own what would be good for me. Some of the menus aren't so great and not to my taste, I don’t like the ingredients. But there are a lot that I like so I don’t have any trouble coming up with some kinda menu. I also like most of the sweets and those usually are good. Jenny Craig really provides the structure which is helpful and which I feel I needed.

I had a friend who did Jenny Craig before and I also saw the commercials on TV. My daughter has special needs and she was gaining a lot of weight. When I try to tell her what to eat, she would argue with me all the time. With Jenny Craig, she has a structured plan that she can look at. If she tries to eat something else, I can tell her that it’s not on her list and she can’t have it. So, it's easier for me to let her know what she can and can't have because she has a list right in front of her. Plus, it's from another source. If she asks if she can have butter, I would ask her if it was on her list. If no, she can't have it. Also, if we go somewhere, I can take certain things with me that she can have. So, it's easier all around.
There are certain things that she likes in the meal plan. She really loves pasta so all those meals are great but she doesn’t like the things that are too spicy. She substitutes them for other things that she loves. I've tried some of it myself and most of the food is pretty good. My daughter enjoys meeting her consultant every week, talking to her and telling her what she has been doing as well as what she has been trying to do for exercise. She looks forward to going every Saturday. She started the program in last week in October 2018 and since then, she has lost 35 pounds.

I’ve tried two weight loss programs, but I always gain the weight back. My daughter told me about Jenny Craig and her doctor said that it was the best to go to. I met with a Jenny Craig consultant and she explained the program to me. And every week, she shows me the menu and we go through it. If there are any changes, I’ll tell her what I wanna change and then I get weighed. She’s so nice. If I ever go up, she gives me thoughts on what I might need to do to change. They’re very nonjudgmental. I’m very pleased with it.
I’m thrilled with the menu. I go with whatever I get and the food is good and tasty. I am also able to have a snack and a dessert, and it’s healthy. But, Jenny Craig use plastic containers for their food, and I’m not sure how healthy that is to heat up. I would like them to see if they could change the plastic containers for the food. Other than that, I love Jenny Craig. I've been with them for about a year now and I’ve lost 24 pounds.

I enjoy going to Jenny Craig's. They have food ready to go and they seem like the easiest thing to do for me. Also, they have nice people that support me and it makes all the difference in the world. The consultants are friendly, nice and very informative. They give me encouragement if I had a week where I would have a celebration so I won't overeat. I could still indulge a little but try to keep on track. After my appointment, I make another appointment for the next week. I go there and we look at what I ate. Then, we go weigh stuff. The consultant asks me if I have any challenges or if I have any difficulties. We just talk about things that would help me and it's been really easy going and nice. Also, the cost is okay. If one wants to eat crap, it's always cheaper. Better food is a little more expensive but it's worth it.
I've been with Jenny Craig's weight-loss program and I've lost 25 pounds so far. I like everything and the menu plan is pretty easy. I can just cross off something after eating so I'm held accountable for the food I'm eating. I can't forget that I haven't eaten. There are four different meal plans where there are dinners, desserts, snacks and frozen foods. I've also got the shakes and the bars. They have a variety of everything. I like the chicken sandwich and they taste like regular food which I like.

I’m very happy with Jenny Craig! I went with them 30 years ago and I had good success then. I lost 30 pounds very easily, and the food is so good. And this time around, I've been with them since the end of January. I’ve lost 33 pounds. I'm 76. I started out on the plan that was for type 2 diabetics because I was type 2 diabetic. But I was very careful in my choices, and I went back to my doctor for my six-month blood work. I’m no longer diabetic anymore. It got me off the soft drinks. I was drinking ginger ale every day. It got me off that. I tried eating salads but I can’t digest vegetables. It doesn’t work for me. So, everything I eat comes out of a box from the freezer with Jenny Craig on it.
The only thing is I was told yesterday when I got a call that my regular person is no longer with me and someone else filled in her place yesterday. I was very disappointed that I didn’t even get to say goodbye to her. She genuinely, personally cared, and was trying to motivate me. She was always cheerful and upbeat. She was flexible enough to understand that when you go to a dinner party, you can’t always take your own meal. She was flexible as far as helping me to understand that you’re gonna lose a little ground when you do that. She was good, but she kept me on-track.

Everybody knows Jenny Craig. And I like the fact that it was very structured meals. I joined them in January. But recently, I'd stopped going for the past month. I didn't lose any weight. And there's a point where you want different food. My personal consultant was good. When I first started going there, it seemed like there was an inconsistency in the consultant I saw. I liked going the same time every week, but then they'd switch the consultants around. So, that's kinda crazy because you want the same person.
The meal program they have set up and the quality of the meals are surprisingly good. I don't like the mashed potatoes though. They're awful. I find a lot of the stuff like tacos and fajitas. And it's all right, but there's a little too much of it. But there's a number of them that I like. I like the breakfast the best. They're very good. There's a pot roast one that I like, too. And the snacks are really good.

Jenny Craig's food is good and so are their reps. They took the time to spend with me and their consulting ethics were good. However, Jenny Craig is a fixed diet. You have 4 weekly meals, and you can’t interchange or take stuff that you don’t like. They don’t let you choose. It was fine for the first months that I did it then it got expensive. I could find a cheaper program. If I liked everything on their meal, then that might’ve been okay, but I didn't care for all of it. There are certain things that I did like, and they wouldn't let me pick what I wanted. You get what you get for that week and that’s that. They will allow you to change 3 things that you don’t like, but that isn’t quite enough. I still had to take things I didn't like.
But Jenny Craig is a great program and I understand why they chose that because people that don’t stick to the diet don’t lose weight as fast or they don’t lose weight at all. If you stick to Jenny Craig's diet plan, you’ll definitely lose weight so that’s a good thing. My goal was to lose 30 pounds. I lost 28, and it was hard for me to lose that last 2 pounds.

My husband and I were on Jenny Craig over 4 weeks. We were promised at the beginning, if we complete 4 weeks, we'll get $100 gift card. We have completed it, my husband got his card, I haven't. When I tried to call and ask about the reason, they said I didn't complete it and disqualified for the card, it was lie. It's the worst the business can do: to lie their clients. Horrible!!! Their prices too high, every time we got order, something was missing, but I did, followed all recommendations and was strictly on the diet, even during my trip to Hawaii and on vacation, weight loss was not great and customer service is horrible. I'm on Nutrisystem now. Greater food selection, excellent customer service, fast weight loss result and prices are so much better!

I’ve done a lot of weight loss programs and I was very successful with the old Weight Watchers, but I tried the Points and I’m too rigid having all those choices. It didn’t work for me. I also tried Nutrisystem and so, I thought we could give Jenny Craig a try. My husband and I needed to lose some weight. He has a lot of health problems. I called and made an appointment. We went in and met the counselor, and she was very sweet. We talked about everything. She explained the program and how it worked.
The food is good but after you do them for a while, it’s the same ones over and over again. We added a few meals which always helps although you’re responsible for doing your green salads and your veggies. They have a menu plan and they tell you what to eat and when to eat it. They have breakfast, lunch and dinner with three snacks, and it’s scheduled. Nutrisystem sends you a bunch of stuff and then, you pick a breakfast, a lunch and a dinner. It’s not a specific one. Jenny Craig is much better. They are a little more structured, which I do very well with. I buy what’s on the menu and fix it and eat it.
We have a couple of things that we don’t really care for and they have substitutes available for those. So, if you find one you don’t like, you just tell them and they substitute another meal for that. There are several kinds of food that I like and I will probably continue to purchase those even after I reach my goal, especially while my husband is on it. It’s just easier than trying to cook for one. You can continue to buy the food from Jenny Craig. They have a system where you check in once a month and encourage you to do that forever because it identifies the problem before it goes out of hand. Jenny Craig has a few non-frozen things but more of them were frozen. You don’t have to worry about shipping. You can pick them up. The frozen food is filling and I like them. They have also dropped the carbs down on the new main courses. It seems to work well, so we were pleased.
We started in mid-January of this year, we’ve continued with it and I’ve lost 44 pounds. I’m within about half a pound of my goal, so I’m very excited. My husband has lost about 35 pounds, and he’s 15 pounds from where he likes to be. Both of the counselors we worked with were excellent. I have recommended Jenny Craig to several people, and some of them have joined. It is a little pricey, but it’s worth it with all the problems that the excess weight does. Then, the food you buy anyway aren’t cheap in the grocery store. The price is harder for some people but it’s not a problem for us.

I have been a member for 25 years. When I joined, I paid more to be a lifetime member. Then I joined a Rewards program for an extra fee every year. While that program is no longer offered, Jenny Craig offered the program and I paid an additional fee annually. Each year, my local centre would let me know when it was time to renew. Today, when I went to my centre to pick up food, I was told that it was too late now to renew my Rewards membership (by a week or two). I called "head office" and the "escalation manager" also said they could do nothing and had absolutely no concern when I said I would no longer spend any money at Jenny Craig. What kind of customer service is this? I said to check my account and see how much money I have spent and Jenny Craig for the past 25 years and I was told it didn't matter.
I am beyond disappointed in Jenny Craig. I have been a huge fan and sent so many people there over the years. Clearly, the model isn't doing as well. There used to be a manager and several staff at my centre and now there is just one new rotating person at my centre. Having complete and total disdain for your longtime loyal customers is not a sustainable business model! I was told to check my contract!!!! Excuse me????

Jenny Craig is good. They're about two blocks from my house, too. Initially, I sat down with the counselor, and we discussed the program, how it works and my goal. When I went there originally, it was to lose weight. I was interested because I got up to 217. What I used to do was I wouldn't eat for a week and just have water. But then, I learned that it's counterproductive because your metabolism just shuts down. So, with the program, you have something to eat every couple of hours that is either a meal or a snack. So, you distribute everything over the day. You keep your metabolism going all day. And I lost quite a bit of weight in the beginning because I work out too. It was like 210 to 160. So, it was about 50 pounds.
I've been with Jenny Craig for four years. I am a single man. And I found that going to Jenny Craig once a week, bringing home the groceries or having to go to the market to get fresh vegetables and fruits to supplement the program, I found that to be very convenient. So, I kept doing it. I renew every year. I've had everything from their menu, but I like the white bean chicken chili.
Jenny Craig's counselors have come and gone. There have been probably a dozen in my time. And I like some more than others. Some I just go in and get the food. But the one I have now is really great. She would like to see me losing weight because that's the point of the whole thing. I like Jenny Craig. I've been doing it a long time. Everybody should do it.

The Jenny Craig consultant is very good. She encourages me when I gain weight, and she helps me decide what I have to do to keep losing. I have lost the weight I wanted to lose, and now I’m on maintenance. My doctors are well-pleased with the weight I've lost and how I lost it. My diabetic doctor has taken me off a lot of my medication, so it’s been a success for me. The only thing I don't like is the food. Some of their food is not good. Things that have corn in it have field corn, which is corn that they feed animals, and it’s very tough. Some of the meat is not good, either. But some of the pasta meals are pretty good. I like the blueberry pancakes for breakfast, and I like their cinnamon loaf and chocolate muffins.

I have a lifetime membership with Jenny Craig. I go annually to lose a few pounds and maintain my ideal weight. I am extremely dissatisfied with their customer service. I just completed a one month intensive program which I was suppose to lose up to 14 pounds. I lost about 10. And that's OK. I was suppose to receive $100 in gift card at the end of the program. I was told by "counselor" I will receive in 2 weeks. Didn't! I called, she said it will take up to 1 month. Now it's over a month. When I called to see what's going on, I was told I did not purchase all the food necessary for the reimbursement. I am baffled by lack of informations. I bought what counselor gave me.
Last week of the program she said if I have left over from previous weeks, I can deduct it from my order, which is what I did. Not they are saying that disqualified me from the program!!!! Very disappointing. I will never use them again as there are many other, and more effective weight loss programs around. VERY DISSATISFIED!

For the longest time, I thought the food at Jenny Craig was very unpalatable. However, I saw the food that my sister was eating, and it looked good. My personal consultant is great. I go every Saturday, usually at the same time, and we catch up, talk and then I get my food. I get whatever they tell me to, though the chicken street tacos are one of my favorites. There are some things I have to change out every week, but other than that, it's perfect. It's really increased my metabolism ‘cause I'm eating every three hours. I've never had results like this before and I'm very happy with it. I've been recommending it to several people.

Signed up for $20 Trial Program. Received first shipment of food. Enormous large box containing mostly freezer food. Had to empty my freezer to store it. When I talked to JC that I couldn’t store that much food at one time only choice was to cancel and there was a $99 cancellation fee. Not much of a trial. No flexibility. Just buy Lean Cuisine or Healthy Choice. It’s the same thing and you don’t have to fill your entire freezer at one time.

I love Jenny Craig. I was looking into niche systems but I didn’t like the idea of not having somebody to talk to so that’s how Jenny Craig came about. I just called and made an appointment, and that was last July. My consultant, Marjan, is fabulous. We have a really close relationship. I don’t see her outside of the meetings, but it feels really good. There’s a Facebook website and some people don’t have that connection, but there are other consultants out there that they can talk to.
The food is great and I love the meals. I find everything very tasty. I like the triple chocolate cheesecake. There are a couple of things that are kinda like mmm, but I eat them. I hate green beans so I won’t eat anything with green beans but Marjan works with me and we switch out whatever is appropriate. I’ve lost close to 60 pounds. I've dropped so much sizes that even the new clothes I’ve bought don’t fit on me. I like feeling healthier and having the ability to be able to move better.

My name is Tamika and I have seen the commercials over the last five years or longer. I really did not pay much attention to the ad, because I felt like it didn't apply to me and my lifestyle. I've gone to Jenny Craig several times and they've helped me in the past. Many years ago, there used to be one in the Bronx. There, I had to go every other weekend, get two weeks of food and make my appointment. They were very nice about it. However, my first consultant had to leave so lately I’ve been seeing a different consultant every other week. I've lost 28.2 pounds through their program and now I have a few more pounds to go. Except for the cranberry dill salad and the tuna dill salad in the can, the food has been very good.
For those two items, I don’t like the way they taste, so I usually substitute whatever they have. On the other hand, the ranch melt is their best item and they've been very filling. I've also purchased but butternut square, the classic cheeseburger and most recently I had cheesy omelet with vegetables and frittatas. The meals are of good quality and they're filling. I eat my vegetables every night. I have plain yogurt with my fruit every other day. I have the shakes too and I eat a lot of raspberries and blackberries. Overall, I've been very happy with Jenny Craig. The consultants have been very nice and the weight has been coming off.

I started the program with Jenny Craig 10 years ago. I went back to that center twice more and the last time was several years ago. And each time, I lost weight but I never stayed through maintenance because I did not like the consultants. When I went to the Jenny Craig location that's near my home, I was supposed to have a conversation with the consultant about how the week went, what my struggles were, what I did well about, what did I feel not good about, and when did I deviate from the program. But the rooms where you had those conversations were right off a large waiting area and the doors were always open, so you could never have a private conversation. So, that was really a problem for me and the reason I left the center.
Then I joined for the fourth time online and I got Tracy, the consultant. But she was not nice to me and I found the her to be very inflexible. She was also very difficult and not practical when I had situations where I needed either to eat a different food or it was really important that I try to eat at a restaurant with my family. Still, I liked the food and I'd like to continue to lose weight on the program. So I started on my own, switched to a consultant, and overall, I'm down about 25 pounds. But I wanna lose another 20 and I'm in a holding pattern right now because I'm kinda not on the program but I'm not really off it.
I'm sorta lost and I'm really disappointed. I'm in a Facebook group and apparently I'm not the only one that has rigid and inflexible consultants. Then, there are other consultants that people say are very nice. But the food at Jenny Craig is generally good. I ordered food on my own the last time, so I'm eating a meal or two with Jenny. But I'm not on the program. I'm not getting weighed, losing weight, or trying to lose weight. So, we have a supply of Jenny food but I've lost my way without the consultant. And my experience with them has been leading me to think about joining Weight Watchers.

When you start they will offer you more expensive plans to get discounts but after that you’ll start hearing different things!! Over that they will keep telling you that the discounts is something from them and you should thank them!! The scale isn’t right, and to verify just check your weight at 4-5 different places then go directly to them and see how much extra weight you’ll see!! When I mentioned they said that the other 5 places wrong!! I just don’t even recommend you wasting gas to drive to their location.

I barely lost any weight and I have been on the program since the end of February. Instead I gained 4 pounds in a week. I’m thinking it’s because of all the sodium. They keep replacing the good food with disgusting ones. First they discontinue the cookie dough bars, Florentine breakfast pizza, BBQ meatloaf and so on. I bit into rubbery chicken the other day and almost vomited. I’m so disgusted by the food. On top of that the chocolate shakes had to be taken off the shelves due to clumps in them. I was one of the unlucky ones who found clumps and had to throw all the shakes out. What a waste of time. I should’ve done Weight Watchers where I can eat fresh foods.

I was tired of going up and down and trying to get back in shape and get my life together. I don't have time to be shopping and cooking and deciding what to eat. So, I was asking around about the different companies and there's a lot of companies out there. I picked Jenny Craig because it's close to me and I can pick up the food, whereas the others would only deliver on certain days and sometimes I'm away from the house all day.
I'm impressed with what they do. I'm always losing weight, but even though they see that I'm accomplishing my goals, they still act on me. They still give me advice as to some questions I have sometimes when I have to go out to dinner. They never give up, so they're a good team. I'm picky when it comes to eating, but I love the food at Jenny Craig. There are one or two items that I'm not crazy about. Everybody should be on Jenny Craig. I'm a physician and I have to constantly deal with patients going to have bariatric surgery, and sometimes they don't even lose as much weight I've lost on my own, now with Jenny Craig.

I have been member of the Jenny Craig program on and off for several years, and have always been happy with the program, the food, and the consulting I have received. I have been back on the program for over 2 months now and have been incredibly satisfied with the new menu items and my weight loss so far. I have been looking forward to continuing the program over the next few weeks, finally reaching my goal weight, and was also planning on continuing at least some portion of the food for the foreseeable future. I rejoined the program recently due to an email I received offering former members a $200 food credit and $100 Visa gift card if they completed the program. The fine print of this offer is as follows:
Complete 4 consecutive weeks including weekly consultations and full menu purchase (avg. $158 US/$175 CAN) and receive a $100 Visa Reward Card within 3-6 weeks after completing the challenge. I made my appointment, visited the center, and met with my new consultant, explaining I was there for this offer and that I wouldn’t be starting the program for 2 weeks due some travel plans, but wanted to go ahead and get the food so I could start as soon as I was back from my trip. She signed me up, got my food, and I was on my way. I have now been on the program for 9 weeks but have yet to receive my gift card. I asked my consultant on my last visit, she looked me up in the system and saw I had been disqualified for only completing 3 weeks. She offered to call customer service for me, but I said I would just call myself. I called customer service and spoke with Isabelle, who explained to me that since there was a 2-week gap between my first and second appointment, I was no longer eligible. I explained my situation and she just repeated herself, offering no help or solution.
I read the fine print and explained nowhere did it state the 4 weeks starts from the day you walk into the center. Again she repeated what she had previously stated regarding the 2-week gap. I said this was not acceptable to me and asked to speak with a manager. She put me on hold, returning after a couple of minutes telling me no manager was available. After a couple of more exchanges, and her continuing to repeat herself, I once again asked for a manager. She put me on hold, and again came back saying no manager was available and this time adding that it wouldn’t matter anyway, that nothing would change the response she was giving me.
I then explained to her that I would have to leave the program, that I couldn’t give my money to and support a business that does not honor their commitments to their customers. I explained I would have continued to pay the $160/week for food for the next several weeks, and continue to buy food beyond that, and that they were turning away that revenue in favor of holding on to $100. She just said “yes” so I said I would be leaving the program and never walking through the doors of another center again.
She said “ok.” I then called my consultant to see if she could help. She told me they would say the same thing to her and there was really nothing she could do. I told her I would write a review and see if that got me anywhere. So here I am. I really don’t want to leave the program, and I am hoping someone will read this and care about me as a customer and a fan, and honor the commitment they made to me when I signed up for the program.

I was looking for something that was gonna be easy because I work a lot overtime. 15 years ago, I had done Weight Watchers and I knew I wouldn’t have time to make sure that I was going to the grocery, getting all the stuff and cooking every night. I needed something I wouldn’t have to think about. With Jenny Craig, the food was gonna be basically there so that’s really what made me do it. This was a much simpler plan for me. Jenny Craig had some kind of special going on and I responded to the email then they ended up calling me to set something up. At first I was doing the program with Vicki, who was kinda like the manager there. Then Joanne took her place when she was hired. Both of them were excellent. They were very encouraging and really nice to work with.
So far, the experience has been great. My progress has probably gone a little slower than I thought it would’ve but I’ve had to interact with my work schedule sometimes where I couldn’t really stick on the program because I’d have to participate in lunch or dinner things. But I’ve tried to make good choices and Joanne has been real good about giving me ideas. She told me what kind of things to look for if I would be going out. So it has worked out pretty good. I haven’t felt punished. I got one more pound to meet my goal that I’ve set for myself. My doctor had given me a goal weight and I put myself down for seven pounds less than what she had told me. So I’m past what she told me to be at and I’ve been real pleased. I feel so much better too.
The program has been very easy and that’s what I liked about it. I always read about eating more in the morning and less at night for the metabolism. And I’m about to be 62. My metabolism was zilch. So it seems like Jenny Craig has helped in that respect. They’ve got four weekly menus that they have me follow on and they just kinda switch them up as time goes on. So I’ve been purchasing all this stuff from them. The food is very tasty and the quality has been good. Breakfast is my favorite meal. They have a lot of good options on there and that’s one thing because I was very boring before. I’d eat a boiled egg every morning and some fruit. So this has given me some other ideas on things.

My mother was on Jenny Craig on and off for years. Her friend was on it, and it worked for both of them. And my sister used it for a few months when she needed to lose weight for a wedding, and it worked well for her too. My family had success with using it. It was a year ago I started doing it. I called Jenny Craig since I could make an appointment that week.
They gave me good advice and food. They explained the program to me. And they said if I have any questions, I can contact them with anything about how to deal with, like if I wanna eat certain food, how to control, like just different food urges, and how do I control that by substituting chips for a fruit, stuff like that. The consultant was great to work with. Whenever I came in every week, it was very easy. I came in, talked about what I wanna do, and how I did that week and got my food. It was very quick. I didn't talk much about what I did because usually, there was a portion that was just losing the weight. It wasn't that bad. So, there's not much to talk about. Just like had to do this week, any questions, and then I'm usually in and out very quickly.
When I started, I was 288, and I lost seven pounds at the time before I start Jenny Craig. That was May last year. Now, I've gotten down almost 50 pounds. My goal is 220. So, I have another 20 pounds I wanna go. The program is very easy to work with and very adaptable. Like if I go away for the weekend, I'm able to bring some of the food with me, and I got freezer bag.
There's only like a few options I truly don't like. But that's my own personal taste. It's just I don't prefer to eat them. Like the sunshine sandwich, I'm not a fan of that sandwich. But it's not that bad, and most of the food taste really good. In the beginning, it was a little difficult, but as time goes on, I'm able to adapt to the size. I'll usually have some vegetables or fruit, and it keeps me full, more than I expect it to, especially in the beginning.
The meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli and corn are really good ones. For breakfast, I like the egg, turkey, sausage and cheese. The Burrito is really good. Chicken marsala is also enjoyable. That's the one I've eaten quite a lot that I liked. I'm satisfied with the meals. Considering most of them are either frozen and processed the food is enjoyable. It's something you can know obviously. But it's not the end of the world. I'm able to adapt to it. I definitely recommend Jenny Craig for somebody who wants to lose weight, and help get them into a fit program.

I had done Jenny Craig once but I wasn’t as committed to the program as I am now that my kids are grown and gone. I’m almost 52 so this time, I was really ready to make it a full commitment. I started January 25th and I’ve lost 45 pounds. I really appreciate Jenny Craig. From experience, I would not have been able to do it on my own. That includes a two-week trip to Israel and I didn’t even lose ground while I was there because I was making better choices. Plus, we were walking an average of 5 miles a day.
My first consultant was awesome but she was just really young so I switched to someone that was closer to my age. I felt like I would connect better to someone else who understands the challenges of menopause and a 50-year old body versus a 20-something-year old body. Mary is my consultant now and she’s been incredibly supportive. She’s been awesome. She’s like a cheerleader on the other side of the phone. I was worried about doing it from home. I was thinking if I couldn’t do it face-to-face with somebody weighing in, how am I gonna do it on my own by myself at my house, weighing in and then just talking to someone once a week. But it’s been really great and I look forward to those calls every week. If she’s travelling, I always have somebody great who fills in.
My son’s getting married a week from Saturday and I bought the dress before we went to Israel. I kept the larger size instead of keeping the smaller size ‘cause I thought Israel was gonna happen. I would lose ground and I needed to make sure that it fits me when I get back. And I weigh less now than I did when I bought the dress. We were in Florida about 3 years ago and I bought these little shift dresses. They barely fit when I bought them and I told myself what we always tell ourselves, “I’ll lose weight. It’ll look great.” I came home and washed them. Even though it was cold water, they didn’t fit after that and I was pretty flustered. I threw them in the downstairs closet so I didn’t have to look at them. And they fit now. They don’t touch anywhere. I can bend over and move and sit down, and they’re not tight anywhere on me now.
I love the meal plans. I follow the program and I don’t cheat. I’m on Rapid Results and I’ve just stayed on Rapid Results plan the whole time. I do the same 4 menus over and over. Menu 1 and 2 will come together in the mail, and then every other week, I get the next two menus. Then it just flips back over. So, after 1 and 2, I get 3 and 4, and then I go back to 1 and 2. I like all of the meals. The thing I like the most is the whole-wheat sesame bagel for breakfast. That’s a weird thing to have as a favorite breakfast, but I put one teaspoon of peanut butter across it and chop up a green apple. It's like a super happy breakfast. I use the peanut butter for my dairy and it’s very filling. I also love the fact that I can actually have triple-chocolate cheesecake. It’s delicious. I’m also really glad that the menu plan only gives it to me once a month.
The quality of the meals is really good. They taste really good. I can always pop an Italian wedding soup into a bag and I can even eat it cold. It’s good even if it’s cold. Our son was over on the weekend and there’s not a lot to eat in my house because of Jenny Craig. He ate the chicken tortilla soup and I gave him a bag of the tortilla chips to eat with it, and he thought it was really good. I’m really pleased with Jenny Craig and I’ve already recommended them to people. Anybody who says, “What have you done? There’s a big difference.” I say, “Jenny Craig.” I feel so much better and I’m able to do so much more. It’s amazing just how much of an internal transformation that external transformation brings.

I’ve done other weight-loss programs and they didn’t work. I went with Jenny Craig and my first interaction with my personal consultant was very informative. She answered all my questions and I signed up the next day. I've been using the Jenny Craig program since February and I’m down 30 lbs. I love their meal plan. They’re very filling and they’re very good. I also like the convenience of it. I just chuck them in the microwave and I’m good to go. Everything works fine and my experience with Jenny Craig has been great.

It's been very positive with Jenny Craig. I chose them because of the rapid weight loss of 16 pounds in a month. The representative has been great the whole time and I'm very happy with her. She's very upbeat and encouraging. She has a positive attitude. First thing she always asks is, "How was your week?" She's not just rushing off. I started this first week in January and I'm almost at my goal weight to have lost 37 lbs. It's slowing down a little bit and I'm 2 or 3 lbs from it. She asked me if I made any changes. I have had a few other things I've eaten this past week that I haven't the whole time 'cause I have been really following the program. She's like, "Okay, you need to go back to what you've been doing." She really wants me to be successful. I like how she does keep me accountable. She listens and is really concerned about what I'm doing.
The other girl that runs the office is very good too. If I have errands to run, they let me keep the food there then come back and get it 'cause I live 45 minutes away. The one week that I couldn't go and get weighed in, she was very flexible. I'm on the whole program seven days a week so I'm only eating their food. They are of good quality. I like the desserts, the lava cake and the cheesecake. I also like the cheeseburger, the chicken salad, the crackers, the fish and chips, the turkey and wild rice, the corn chips and the pancakes with the sausage. Most of the food doesn't bother me at all but I don't like the chicken pot pie and the loaded baked potatoes. And it's the program that's expensive so the goal is to try to wean off. I'm happy that my representative is trying to get me to that point.

Jenny Craig's consultants have been very personable. They give me good tips sometimes. I have weekly visits and they've been going very nicely. They take 15 minutes and then I gotta put the food in the bag. Even so, the food quality has been good. There's not a lot of sodium in them. Sometimes, the meals are just a slice of pizza, and to me, that’s not just very substantial. They're a little expensive too. Still, they’ve been getting better meals lately. They’ve been adding more meat to the meals so that I feel a little bit more full. I like the cheesy chicken with the mashed potatoes the best. Since going with Jenny Craig, I've lost about 42 pounds. My blood pressure has gone down so the program has worked for me.

My mom had done Jenny Craig years ago, like when I was a kid. I knew she had done it and I needed something where I wasn’t gonna have to do a lot of cooking so it felt like a really good fit. I went online and said I wanted to sign up. Then they called me and wanted to know what I wanted to achieve. I was a little embarrassed because I had so much weight I needed to lose. But I had kind of hit that moment where I needed to make a change and they were very encouraging. They helped me figure out what I needed to do to get started. So it was good.
The personal consultant is great! She’s really good to call every week. She remembers things that we talked about from the previous call, which I really appreciate, and she helps me set some goals and checks out on how I’m doing on my goals. Even if I have an off-week, she has never made me feel bad, which is a good thing for me. I’m pretty goal-oriented as a person and if I feel like I’m failing, I’ll stop something. She just encourages me for the next week, which I appreciate. I also appreciate the conversation in helping me track against my goal. But the biggest thing is knowing that at the end of the week I’m gonna have to tell somebody how much I weigh. So it motivates me to stay on track. The weekly visits help keep me accountable.
Jenny Craig is the best thing I ever did. The quality of the food is really good and I had figured out what I like and how to put it all together to still lose weight while I’m doing it. The sweet snacks that I have tried are always really very good but they tend to spiral me. Sugar tends to make me crave more sugar. So I don’t do them very often. I tend to do more of the salty snacks than the sweet snacks. I tend to customize the meal plan more because then I get to eat the things that I enjoy and still lose weight, versus doing the plan’s menu.

Yes it’s a little more pricey but totally worth it. Natasha is my consultant. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer or more knowledgeable person to go through my weight loss journey with. I am blown away with how wonderful the meals are. Every. Single. One. Really! Not to mention that every week the menu is completely different than the one before. After 4 weeks they repeat. This is one reason you will stick with this program! This program is all about portion size without sacrificing any of the quality or taste.
The meals are very low fat and sodium too. I have compared an entire week's worth of J.C. menu food with Weight Watchers point system and they are almost equal. If you need a very structured approach (meals are pre-made and ready to eat) to losing weight with the accountability of a great consultant, don’t delay and go see Natasha at J.C. today! You won’t be sorry when you lose the weight! The extra cost is totally worth it! I did the 12 week program and am aiming to lose my 20 lbs within that time frame.

Updated on 06/06/2019: The review was marked resolved by the company but it is not resolved. I spoke to a second supervisor and: I received a refund for the second monthly shipment (the one that I would’ve been charged 99.00). However I have not been refunded the membership fee that I was told I would by the previous supervisor three days before. For some reason the membership fee that was supposed to be refunded in 3 days has not been refunded and the food shipment for the end of June has been refunded. My credit card company is still working the fraud case because of all what they deemed unfair practices and fees that customer are not made aware of. So I’m short only 318.00 of the over 700.00 has been refunded after cancelling in a timely manner. I do not refer to that as being resolved. It is deceiving.
Updated on 06/04/2019: This is an update to my previous review. A new supervisor called to tell me that after this review they could refund me the second shipment of food but not the first because: “it had already shipped.” Interesting thing is that thanks to the “my UPS“ app I can see when this actually shipped. Now, I called to cancel on June 1 but the food DIDN’T EVEN SHIP till June 3 AFTER 3:00 PM!!! There is no reason for them to not have cancelled the orders. Like my credit card company said, “it sounds like they are just milking it”.
Original Review: I have never had a weight program until I had four hip replacement surgeries, heavy metal poisoning that damages my thyroid and hearing and discovered I had scoliosis and had to have back steroid injections and fusion. I finally decided on Jenny Craig and had 80lb to lose. The first conversation with Nikki the counselor was horrible. She was condescending and I said to her I didn’t know if this was going to work but tried to make it work. After the trial membership I reluctantly agreed to the 118.00 membership. She had tried to sell me the 300.00 one and I had to tell her 3 times I didn’t want it.
Just before the grace period for cancellation of membership occurred I called to cancel everything. They gave me the membership money back after having to talk to supervisor but refused to cancel food even though it was a week before any shipment occurred for the first two weeks and almost a month before second. I called my credit card company and their rep was as irritated as I and advised I report everything to the fraud division. “They are milking this” is what he said. Jenny Craig has unreasonable practices and I’m glad I have a good credit card company that will go to bat for me!

If you want something that’s ready to go, Jenny Craig is a good option. I like that it’s a complete meal plan and you don’t have to think about it much. Everything is calculated and balanced. You just have to follow it. When I started, I made an appointment with the consultant to talk about it first and they're good. I feel comfortable working with them. The meals and the dessert options are good too. I’m not actually a sweets person but I like some desserts. I've been with Jenny Craig for about seven months now and the weekly visits work very well. I like the option that I can use the scale at the same day at the same time every week to weigh myself.

I was on Jenny Craig 25 years ago and it worked for me then. Recently I was looking for a solution, and I saw a commercial and realized the foods are all different, so I decided to try it again. I met Sandy and I have never met anybody as wonderful as her. She motivates me to show up every week to stay on my program. She makes me accountable because I know I have to be weighed and if I cheat or I have issues, then I have to be prepared to address those. In the past, I would make excuses not to go in if I knew I wasn’t gonna lose anything. I haven’t done that one time and I haven’t missed a week, and even though I know that I’m probably not gonna lose anything because of a situation, I still go in and face it.
Also, I absolutely love the food. I like chicken Marsala, I love the teriyaki dishes, I love the chicken pot pie, I love the meatloaf and the Salisbury steak. I’m a Midwest girl, so those comfort foods are wonderful. The desserts are wonderful too, and it's a good balance of carbohydrates. I started January 20th and I’m about six pounds away from my goal weight, and when I do it, I will have lost 40 pounds. My mom is 81 years old and she’s so dissatisfied with her weight, and I keep telling her to try Jenny Craig. I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

I’ve been gaining weight over the last few years and I've been going to the gym regularly. I’m working out and getting trainers, dietitians, etc. The last straw for me was that I’ve gone in my food journal to show my personal trainer because I didn’t understand why I was not losing weight. I was just super stuck. At that point, he restricted my diet so much that I was essentially having spinach and whey protein, and that was it. He got mad at me ‘cause I had a tablespoon of peanut butter. It was really bad. It was so restricting.
It wasn’t like I was intentionally anorexic. I was just following the direction of this person, a professional, that I trusted with my health. So, I went to my doctor and I was like, “Look, I keep gaining weight. I’ve been exercising. I thought I was eating healthy. I see this trainer. I’m not getting results. What do I do?” And I’ve restricted so much. I don’t even know how to start eating or what to eat. He tried to put me on the HCG diet. You eat 500 calories a day and they inject you with vitamins every week. If I’ve already been restricting too much, I really don’t think that’s wise. The whole point is I wanna eat healthy and balanced. So, I fired him as a doctor and I went to Jenny Craig 'cause I just wanna be able to eat healthy, lose the weight and not be overthinking everything.
Jenny Craig provided the food so I wouldn’t have to be thinking about counting calories or this or that. You eat what they give you. That’s all you have to do. You don’t have to think about it. I had sought professional help and nobody seems to be able to understand that I just wanted balance. I didn’t want a keto diet. I didn’t want some sort of fad diet. I didn’t want to restrict. I just wanted to be healthy and normal and nobody would understand that. Jenny Craig was the only place that got that.
When I walked in, I already knew I wanted to do it. I get why they need to do the sales end of it but I found it a bit traumatic- the whole, “Write the things that have held you back and put an X on it.” A couple of months later, my husband went in and joined Jenny Craig as well. It was like the exact same spiel. I understand the psychology behind all of it but it was a bit over the top for me.
But Shelly, my rep, is really great. We get along really well with lots of different things. It’s almost like visiting a friend or a mentor. It’s not like, “Ugh, I have to go to my Jenny Craig thing.” She’s very relatable. I feel I can be honest with her, like, “Hey, my husband and I were out of town for three days and it was three days of eating at restaurants.” And it’s okay. She never shames us 'cause that was the big thing that I was dealing with before as well with the personal trainer and the doctor. They were shaming me. Any time something happened, “Oh, you had a tablespoon of peanut butter. How can you be doing that? You’re sabotaging yourself.” It’s negative, negative, negative. Whereas with Jenny Craig, it’s always positive and I really appreciate that.
I started with Jenny Craig beginning of February and I’ve lost 25 pounds which is great. I’m hoping to lose 25 more. My target was 50. I have sort of plateaued, but my husband and I have tons of travel the past few weeks. We’ve been out of town a whole bunch. We haven’t been able to stick to the plan as religiously simply because we haven’t been here, and we haven’t been in a position where we could take the food with us. Once this period of travel subsides and I’m able to get back into the swing of things, I’ll get right back on track. For the first time in this whole godawful saga, I’m hopeful. I’m positive and confident.
I’m a vegetarian and it’s great that Jenny Craig has vegetarian options. I wasn’t expecting that that would be available so I’m by no means complaining. It would be nice if there could be some more options ‘cause it’s pretty limited, but I don’t dislike what’s there. The only thing that concerns me is the environmental sustainability. It’s just a lot of packaging to be going through everyday. We try to recycle everything that we can, but how do we make it a little bit easier on the environment would be my only question. It’s not an overnight solution and that’s not something an entire corporation can change in a day so I hope it’s something that’s on their radar.
I would encourage going through the program especially for people who are just so frustrated, for people who feel like they have done the right thing like going to see their professionals and they haven’t received the help that they’re looking for. If I was experiencing that frustration, I would imagine that other people are too. They just haven’t felt that they could go vocalize it or they thought they were the only ones.
I absolutely recommend Jenny Craig to everybody because it does work and it’s easy and positive. You have your person to check in with as a resource and the food tastes good. It’s not like eating airplane food. I went into it thinking the food is gonna suck for the next few months but I was pleasantly surprised. People look at the cost like, “Oh, I don’t know if I could spend 175 bucks a week on food.” You do already. You just don’t realize it. It might look like it’s a lot but when you factor in how much you eat out, it isn’t what you think it is.

I was desperate to lose weight, and there was a Jenny Craig in my neighborhood. I went through it and had a pleasant experience, so I continued with them when they changed locations. I like the convenience of picking up my food and not having to go to the grocery store. I wish they were more available over the phone, but they’re busy so they do the best they can. I like their fish and chips, the waffles and the French toast, the dream shakes and the cheese burgers. With them, I’ve lost 70 pounds in about eight months.

I heard from people who did Jenny Craig's program that they were satisfied. I liked how their program sounded and I went with them. The consultant whom I worked with, Mandy, was supportive. I lost 15 lbs. over three months and then I kept maintaining the same weight. Over the course of the program, there are things that I liked a lot and there were things that I really disliked. At different points of the program, I felt differently about things.
For one, I got really, really tired of all the sandwiches at some point. because before the diet, I never ate any kind of sandwiches and there are a lot of them on the diet like burgers, chicken sandwiches and Sunshine sandwiches. Another thing I disliked was shell food because of the preservatives. Despite this, Mandy accommodated the menu for me. She offered me to replace foods I disliked. Overall, I'm satisfied with everything with Jenny Craig. Still, if they could let people replace more stuff in their diet maybe it would be helpful.

I've tried every weight management program there is and Jenny Craig is the only one that I've been successful with. I like the food, and their close to my home. I enjoy the hamburgers. But I wish they had more things that I could travel with or if I'm working that I could take with me if there's no microwave. That's the disadvantage. But everything else, like the desserts are good. I also like most of the dinners I've tried. The staff are great as well. I had only one bad experience. I was in the hospital, and I called to get food, and they said they were not allowed to give me food unless I come in or I should've ordered it nationally. And now, I've gotten to know them, and they do it for me, but that was a nightmare.

It was very easy to start a program with Jenny Craig. Both counselors I’ve had have been very nice and helpful. And the program just speaks for itself. If you follow it, you lose weight. And it keeps you on track, or get you back on track if you’re off, or just go over options you have. I've been on the program since January 2nd and I’m down 41 pounds. All the food has a very good taste, they have a great mixture of food.

I've been with Jenny Craig on and off for 10 years. I'm terrible once I get off the diet, but it usually takes me three years to get out of shape. Then I go back, lose weight and get back in shape. My interactions with them have always been good. The people are great and the program has always worked well. The personal consultant is good, very positive and motivating. The interaction was brief, but it was fine. All I want is something brief. I get my food, have a 30-minute conversation with her and that's it. I've recommended Jenny Craig to people.
There are some high-quality meals that I really like. There are some that are less so, but it is diet food. The chicken mashed potato is pretty good and tasty. I also love the chocolate lava cake and the brownies. The french toast is the meal I like the most. It's only three little slices, but it's nice. Sometimes, there's a little too much on the Spanish side, which is very good stuff, but I can't eat peppers. I'm 70 years old, so they don't sit that well all the time. There are a few meals like that that I can't eat, like the breakfast burritos. They're a little hot on my stomach, but they're not bad tasting.

I was trying to find a company that had food that they sent, there was stuff I could eat 'cause I'm super picky and that I could substitute things. I checked out Jenny Craig and went with it. I've been with them for just over a year now and I really like Norma. She's cool. She calls me once a week. I like a lot of the breakfast food and the snacks. The lunches and dinners are okay but they have not been intriguing to me. One thing I will not touch are those cheeseburgers. Those are disgusting. But there are things I can eat. There's the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, the mac and cheese, and broccoli stuffed potatoes. Their fish and chips aren't bad.
Overall, I think it's a pretty good and decent program. It's working in my case. In this last year, I lost 60 pounds. I only got about five more to go, but I've been having problems with the last couple of months of losing that last five pounds. When I think about the food that I get, I think about the price that we pay for it. I don’t know if some of the food are real quality items. I feel like they're just some random frozen cheap things. That's how a lot of the food seems to taste. If things were more natural then they'd be healthier than whatever I get half the time. I can get the breakfast syrup from Jenny Craig which I don’t because I use real maple syrup. I don’t know why they don’t know why they don’t do more real stuff that would be healthier than the cheaper version. That'd be the only criticism I have.

I'm doing the program with my son and we look forward to it and keep that accountability. My son has lost 90 pounds, and I’ve only lost about 30 pounds. But I’ve gone up and down. So, I’m still okay with that. We like the food a lot. Recently, we’ve been cheating because it’s summer, and we’re out doing things. But we like the meal plan in general because as soon as we come home, we’re right back on track and pick up wherever our menu is at. We can move things around and we switch it out sometimes.
I’ve done a number of different programs in the past. I did Nutrisystem, and the food was really horrible. You lost weight, but it was horrible. There’s no way you can stay on it. And then I did Kaiser. They had a program where it's an all shake diet, and you drink shakes all day long, and that's it. There was no food. You lose weight, but again, not sustainable. But with Jenny Craig, even if we don’t do the program for a week, we make way better decisions than before. Also, my consultant from Jenny Craig was very personal and she understood how I was feeling.

I’ve heard about Jenny Craig my whole life but in 2010, I went to the Rosie O’Donnell show and Mariah Carey was the spokesperson at the time. She was the guest, so they gave everyone in the audience a Jenny Craig membership. My friend and I did that together and he lost quite a bit of weight. Mine was slow and steady but I was able to lose 60 pounds. Then, life happened. I learned my skills, I went on and got married. Years later now, two more pounds crept up, so I went back for tweaking, which is what I love about the program. You can come back, use the tools and get back on track. I was in a plan for quite a while. I have a different center now and my counselor, Eileen, is very accessible. She gave me her phone number, and whether I’m running late or need to move my appointments or just need encouragement, she’s always super-helpful and available, and any question I ever have, she’s always helpful.
I’ve tried all the meal plans but there are a few that are my all-time favorites. I like the Southwest Chicken Fajita bowl. I’ll take that and put a little salad mix on the plate, and then, put that bowl on top, and just a little dollop of Greek yogurt, and I’ll put a little bit of Jenny Craig Blue Corn Chips, and it is amazing. The Cheesy Mashed Potatoes with the Fried Chicken is one of my favorites too. It’s so good. There are so many that are really great and the desserts and snacks are wonderful. We really like them. We love the breakfast such as the pancakes, sausage and cinnamon rolls. The taste is wonderful and they're very satisfying. You don't feel like you're on a diet. Also, the convenience for our lifestyle is perfect. It’s not what you have to cook tonight but what you get to pick out, which is a lot different than dragging out pans and pots.

This is my first time trying Jenny Craig and when I called they put me in a trial membership which is one month. I have Crohn's disease so it’s hard for me to lose weight since my metabolism is shot. I was so excited when my first box came that contained my first 2 weeks of food. I unloaded it all and went over all the materials. The next morning my consultant called me to go over everything and help me get started. She was great. I started eating the food, which tastes great, and following the menu. Menu. After 2 days I was starting to lose weight. I lost 4 lbs by the end of the first week but my stomach was start to hurt.
A couple days later I ended up in the hospital with small bowel obstruction. The doctors said that the diet while good is too high in fiber for me. I called them when I was released and told them that the doctor said I couldn’t continue this diet. They then tell me there’s a $99 cancellation fee. First time hearing about this! I told them this was not my choice to cancel and my doctor even wrote a note I can send them or records. Still want to charge me a fee I knew nothing about. I told them that I need to think about it. Then called back a day later after trying one more time to eat their food and ending up in extreme pain and they now say it’s too late to cancel. I asked if the food has shipped already and they said no but they are going to proceed to ship it and won’t cancel the order.
I explained that I can not eat the food and they just keep saying they can’t cancel the order even though it has not been shipped yet. WARNING: Be sure this diet is for you because there is no backing out even if it kills you! I will now have to throw away over $300 of food when it arrives or end up back in the hospital where I could have died the first time! They don’t care if it kills you as long as they get their money!

I wanted to feel healthier and lose some weight, and having a dedicated personal consultant at Jenny Craig definitely helps a lot. It helps me keep on track and it helps me motivate myself a little more. My interaction with them was really good too. I like them. I've been in the program since the beginning of January and I have lost 22 pounds. I also feel really good about the menu plan although they had mac and cheese three times a week. I am also allergic to tomatoes and bell peppers so I had to narrow it a bit but I had no problem after that. The meals are also super good. I love them actually.

My wife and I went together with Jenny Craig which was a good deal and then I lost about 25 pounds. I have been going for the last four years and do it weekly more as maintenance. Occasionally, I’ll be five pounds heavier than I should and then I’ll be pretty strict as far as adhering to the plan. I also use it for more accountability in which I have three: to go there weekly, to weigh myself daily, and to track my calories. Using these three elements, I tend to have a better chance of staying where I wanna be.
The people that we are there with, the counselors, have been all very good, supportive and adaptive in terms of what level of encouragement we need and how much time we need to spend with them. They have a process that they go through. They have common sense and adaptability to realize that there are only a few things we need to cover. When I’m on maintenance and I’m just sort of adapting, then I’ll just order the food and track the calories so I won’t be adhering to the complete daily plan. When I get a few pounds too heavy, then I slice out different days that I think can do best for me. And so, I make a seven-day plan but I stay true to each day.
Now, in the particular food, overall, I would rate the Jenny Craig meals very high. On the breakfast side of it, the blueberry pancakes are really good and I like the waffles. My wife likes the egg sausage breakfast scramble. As far as some of the ones that are non-refrigerated, there's a Romano pasta and the hearty beef. On the dessert side, a lot of those are very good like the vanilla cupcake and the lava cake. The key thing and one of the benefits is the fact that everything is portioned and then it’s so easy to add food. The caveat is how motivated you are to lose weight and for me, it worked out well as far as the food, weekly, and my desire.

I started with Nutrisystem and every time I had a meal that I really like, they kept cutting it out. It was driving me absolutely crazy. I tried to do it on my own but couldn't. One day, I thought of Jenny Craig. The nurse who was in the doctor's office I went to was the one who told me about it. She lost 60 pounds and we talked about how good the food was and she was right.
I dealt with a counselor who was out of California and there were a lot of problems with Jenny Craig getting me my meals. They were coming late and constantly, we were having to resend them. I found out there was a Jenny Craig food thing right near me so I had somebody in my office pick up my meals and that's how I met Janet. I said that I'd like a switch to get the food. The California people told me that they won't talk to me if I'm not buying food from them which I thought was incredible considering we had so many bad problems. I called Janet up and asked her if she could be my consultant and she said yes.
I lost a lot of weight early on. My mom passed away and unfortunately, I put back 30 pounds. Janet had reached me the day my mom died and every week, she called just to check in as a real human being. She did that for several months and it meant a lot to me. She is a spectacular example of what one would want in an employee. She probably does more good for Jenny Craig than anybody around. Someone like that should be on report. She knew I was gonna come back to Jenny. I ate comfort food but then I'm slowly going down to where I was when my mom died.
With the menu plan, I was in a cheeseburger binge for a long time. Before that, I was in a lasagna binge then I was in a spaghetti and meatball binge. The chicken pot pie is okay but it doesn't have enough vegetables and chicken in it to fill me for a meal. I was very disappointed because the chicken pot pie is one of my very favorite dinners in the world. But I love the Italian stuff and right now, I'm in a pizza binge. I wish Jenny Craig had ice cream. I really miss it but I guess they have problems delivering it and it will never come frozen.

I needed somebody to cook the meals for me and I’ve been going to Jenny Craig for eight years years. At this stage, I purchase the food I like. However, I don’t eat chicken and at least half, if not more than half, of the main food is chicken. So, there’s not enough selection for me. I have to modify every menu. Nevertheless, I like the people who work at the center. They’re awesome.

Just told by customer service there is NO satisfaction guarantee. I spent more than half of a paycheck on Rapid Results. Was told I would lose 16 pounds, then told it would be more like 11 pounds. I would have been happy to pay what I did if I lost 11 pounds, but my weight went up and down a few pounds and I'm back to where I started (which sucks when you're only getting 1200 cal/day).
- I am a news reporter and sometimes will leave the station on breaking news and won't get back for 12 hours- no access to microwaves. My first meeting with my consultant she never asked my lifestyle or schedule. I asked her what to do if you have to eat out and she told me I needed to change my lifestyle and how I socialize (didn't bother to realize it might be due to my job).
- My first consultation I was asked what I would say to myself when I failed (when, not if).
- Consultant did not have my starting weight correct. I corrected her and she never changed it.
- I had lost 1 lb, week 1 and 2, then on week 3 my consultant told me I COULD have an Easter meal (I was going to eat before my family gatherings, but she said it was OK, so I followed her portions she gave me). By the end of that week I was back to my original weight. She then blamed the Easter meal she said I could have. (ps 1 lb. = 3,500 cals. I know I didn't eat double that. Cheat meal was maybe 350 cal tops).
- Then she said maybe I WAS at my "happy weight" and weight loss wasn't possible for me. Yet, I was told by her and the sales person this program was scientifically proven and would work.
End summary: I was promised I would lose 16 pounds, which was then dropped to 11 pounds. After 4 weeks I was at the same weight where I started (5'2", 130 lbs). Apparently you can never go off this thing without gaining weight (not sustainable). The month of Rapid Results cost me over half my paycheck and even though food items and menus were wrong AND I lost no weight, there's no way to get a cent back.
If you're going to do a weight loss program, at least do one where they care about your satisfaction or at least pretend to care when you're not happy. It's not worth starving yourself at 1200 cal a day if you're not going to lose weight. If there's any question about my review, I'd be happy to be contacted and show my receipts.

I did the plan lose 16 lbs in 1 month. I followed it the menu exactly, never cheated. Worked out five days a week. Lost only 7.2 lbs. I thought I would lose a little more. Save your money. It cost $74 a pound.

I've been with the Jenny Craig program for about three months now and it's going pretty well. I like that it's easy. It's just that it's a little bit too much of processed food and artificial sweeteners. I cannot stand the chocolate cheesecake and I'm not a fan of the dried stuff that doesn't have to put in the fridge like the wedding soup and the tortilla soup. Those are making disgusted noise. But other than those items, the rest is all pretty good. I'm at my goal weight so I'll be transitioning over to whatever happens after that. Also, their people were all very helpful, friendly, and go out of their way. Overall, a pretty worthwhile endeavor.

Jenny Craig is an amazing program. I did it a few years back and it really worked for me so I decided to join again. The program is extremely easy to follow and everyone's really supportive. The meals are amazing too. So it's hard not to lose weight on this diet. In fact, I've lost over 20 pounds now. So I'm really happy. Going in every week and weighing in is also extremely motivational. I love the counselors there. I worked with one woman a few years back and I would almost feel nervous to go in if I had a bad week. But I work with a couple of different women now and they are not like that at all. They're very supportive and really sweet. They would encourage me to keep going if I've had a bad week.
The only problem that I've had recently is that they're out of some foods. They weren't really sure if they were getting rid of the foods or if it was just a backorder kind of thing. The quesadillas is my absolute favorite and that's the one that they're out of. But everything else has been really great. I'm also a big pasta fan so the chicken carbonara, the chicken fettuccine and the ravioli are all amazing. In fact, there were foods that I missed whenever I wasn't on the diet anymore.

A friend of mine’s roommate was going through Jenny Craig and lost some weight and had a good experience so I thought I'd try it. I also didn’t wanna cook and I didn’t wanna go to the grocery store to shop. My counselor is absolutely charming and very nice. She does not shame or guilt you. She couldn’t be more positive and I like that. I respond well to a positive attitude that, "You can do it, you're making progress." I go in for my weekly meetings in order to get the weekly groceries and I am motivated because I'm losing weight. I don’t need my counselor to be a RA-RA. If I have a problem like how to handle when I need to eat out or if its gonna work if I did it this way, she’ll give me feedback.
I'm in the 19th week and the menu plan has been good. I have a congestive heart failure so I have to be careful about my sodium intake. I have a cut-off of about 500 milligrams of sodium in a dish so my counselor gives me a substitute for anything that's gotten more sodium. She looks on her list to see what are suitable substitutes. The macaroni and cheese is one of my favorites even though that’s the only one that’s over 500 milligrams of sodium. I've been dieting all my life and I have not had macaroni and cheese in 25 years so it's really delightful to finally have it again. The lemon cake for dessert is very good for that category. The only thing that I don’t like as far as flavor is concerned is the peanut butter cookies. Somehow, they don’t taste like peanut butter to me.
The quality of food seems like the same quality as if I go to the grocery store and get some frozen dinner. The main thing about Jenny Craig for me is portion control. I would recommend it to others although it kinda depends on how serious they are about losing weight. But this is how I've done it. I've lost 23 pounds so that’s my success.

I was caring for my father and I was making him meals every day. After he passed, I got tired of cooking. I needed to lose weight and I didn’t wanna prepare any meals anymore. I knew Jenny Craig was a “pop in the microwave”. My personal consultant was very friendly, professional and excellent. Then the quality of the food is average to a little bit above. I love the cheesy chicken with mashed potatoes, fish and chips, cheesy cheesesteak, chicken marsala, and the three cheese macaroni with carrots and broccoli. We like the dessert but we don’t like the tortilla chips and the ranch snaps although I understand they gotta give somebody something that they would buy on the outside. I’m on 1,200 calorie plan but the meals are so small. I wish it has bigger portions. I also think the prices need to come down. They’re pretty expensive. My husband’s on it as well so I get two of everything.
I've been with the program since January and I’ve only lost about 15 pounds. I’d like to get to at least 25. The weekly visit is taking me a little bit longer to lose weight because I take medication as what I went through with my dad. I’m also gonna be 70 next month and my metabolism is very slow that's why I work out so much. I am a gym junkie and so a lot of time, what I would lose, I gain in muscle. I also have an active social life and the summer is hard. We just came back from Phoenix and we’re going to my granddaughter’s bat mitzvah. Then in July, we’re going to Canada so it’s gonna be a tough road. However, losing a pound a week is still good. I’m in it for the long haul so as long as it takes.

Jenny Craig came to me as a recommendation and I've been using it for over a year now. My first interactions with them were very good and my weekly visits were fine as well. I had Myra as my consultant up until last week, but she transferred to Las Vegas. She was very easy to talk to, which is very important. I also enjoy all of their food, especially the macaroni and cheese. I do well when I stay on the diet, but when I cheat, I'm back there.

I liked the reputation that Jenny Craig had when I started researching different companies online. I've been with them since November of 2018 and their people have been very positive and natural. They've always been thinking about the next steps forward, and always being able to plan as well as check in on me to make sure that I’m still happy with everything that I’m doing on Jenny Craig. I've had a good life change in general.
The menu plan is very easy and useful to use. It’s nice to not have to worry about figuring out what I wanna eat for the week because I have a set plan to follow which makes working with it rather than having to work around it. Also, the meals have all been of very good quality and I’ve never had an issue with one before. My favorite is the lasagna.

I’m fully getting off of Jenny Craig. It’s costing me way too much and I’m not seeing results. I’ve been doing the twelve-hundred and fifteen-hundred-calorie menus and I followed the menu to a tee. I’ve also been exercising but the more I exercise, the less I drop in weight. I’m only at 20 lbs in 5 months. The meals are good though, and my favorite meal is the cheeseburger. The program just hasn’t worked for me. My consultant has been great as well. But she’s on mat leave now and I don’t even know who my new consultant is. I haven’t heard from anybody and I haven’t done the weekly visits for the last two weeks.

The program from Jenny Craig has worked well for me and my wife. We don’t cook so having Jenny Craig food as our grocery shopping for the week works for us. I have been using the program for three years and so far, the food has been good. The main meals are improving but I am not quite happy with the evolution of the Anytime bars. Nevertheless, my experience with them has been good and I've lost a lot of weight.

I've had prior success with Jenny Craig back in the 80s and they worked. I lost some weight and I gained it back slowly and then I gained a lot more after that, so it was time to put on the brakes. I've gone back to them, and I'm prepared for success. I went in with a positive attitude, and I was actually looking forward to it. We have a bit more to lose this time, but it is happening the way we anticipated. We're into our third year now and we've been through multiple consultants who have all been great.
Jenny Craig is a much more tightly controlled program nowadays and so we have a unique scenario. When we started 30 years ago, there was a little bit more leeway in terms of how we wanted to approach it. We wanted to have a little bit more individualized control over our menus rather than dealing with the menus that Jenny Craig laid forth for us. That's made it a little bit different and in some ways, we're aware of the fact that we probably could have lost more weight faster had we gone to the directed ways, but there was some dietary limitations with us and so it works out better this way. Fortunately, they've got no problem with allowing us to continue the individualized menus even though the program has changed for other consumers.
The quality of food has always been good. They have a couple of different styles of packaging and there's one specific style where sometimes the top plastic will tend to pop before the box is opened. So, we've had a couple of instances where some packaging was breached. But that never caused a loss of freshness or the contamination of food, so we're consistently happy. Also, when one eats the same relatively limited menu over and over for years, they think they'd get sick of it. It reminds us of the old Gary Larson's Far Side cartoon where a dog is getting fed, and he says, "Oh boy, dog food again." It's the same thing he has all the time, but it tastes good every time he has it. So, as a matter of fact, we were surprised because we both tend to enjoy the Jenny Craig food each time.

I signed up for the diet plan last week and was rushed out of the center in 30 minutes. I received an email congratulating me on completing my first week yesterday when I only started yesterday. Not to mention scheduling an appointment and being told it was double booked and then the agent rescheduled it to a different day without notifying me.
Drove to another center the next day after booking yet another appointment and because the other center rescheduled that appointment they did not meet with me. Finally booked a 3rd appointment and called to confirm and then the center called me later that evening to confirm again. If I was not a motivated person I would never use Jenny Craig based on their customer service but just need a kick start. Been on the diet for 2 days so early to provide feedback on any results.

Everything has been great with Jenny Craig. The meals are fine and I haven’t been tired of them yet. The program is simple and everything is laid out for you. I’ve also had family members that went with Jenny Craig. However, Jenny Craig made some changes that our local facility was staffed, which was a bit weird and didn’t seem like there was any rhyme or reason to it. They staffed with the same counselor, but the counselor that they added just left and didn’t give any notice and quit with a text.
