Global Sanitizers recalls Medically Minded hand sanitizer

The product contains methanol

Global Sanitizers of Las Vegas, Nevada, is recalling 50,000 containers of Medically Minded hand sanitizers.

The product contains methanol, which can result in nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system, or death.

There have been no reports of adverse reactions to date.

The recalled product, packaged in 8.5-oz / 250-ml clear bottles with caps with UPC 7675300359. lot numbers E212020 & E082020 and Best Buy of 5/21/2022. was shipped to wholesalers nationwide who distributed them from July – August 2020.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should stop using it and discard or return it to the place of purchase.
